The island of Sakurajima has arrived in Palworld, and there are many new Pals to meet, resources to collect, and challenges to master in the new zone. MeinMMO explains how you can get to the new island.
How to get to the new island in Palworld
Here’s how to get to Sakurajima: If you want to travel to the new island, you can go there without any prerequisites. You do not need to have completed any quest line beforehand.
The new island Sakurajima is located in the northwest of the Palworld map. To reach Sakurajima, you need to head to the northwest of the map:
- The easiest way is to activate the fast travel point on the “Ice Wind Island.” From there, you can directly cross the sea to the north.
- Alternatively, you can use the fast travel point “Forgotten Island.” From here, you will also need to cross the sea to the north.
What can you find on Sakurajima? In total, you can catch 14 new Pals and 10 new variants that you can find on the new island.
Additionally, you will find the new resource oil in the north and south of the island alongside sulfur and coal.
What should you keep in mind? We recommend that you have reached at least level 45 before exploring the new area. The Pals that appear there are all at a high level and attack you from a distance. If you are at a lower level, you will be defeated quite quickly.
Additionally, you should have enough healing items and a fast flying mount with you. The journey across the sea is longer than it may seem.
