While for many players the fun in Palworld revolves around the individual Pals, the construction and functions of your own base also play an important role.

More camps through level requirements
This is how many primary camps you can have: At the beginning, you can only establish a single camp. This can be done before you reach level 10. You can establish up to three primary camps. However, these are tied to level requirements.
- You unlock the second primary base at level 10 of your Pal Box
- You unlock the third primary base at level 15 of your Pal Box
When you reach level 10, you can place the second Pal Box.
How many secondary camps can you have? You can establish an unlimited number of them, as long as you do not use a Pal Box. However, keep in mind that you can only use fast travel to Pal Boxes. It is advisable to place the secondary camps near a fast travel point so that you can easily access them.
You cannot assign Pals to these secondary bases to work on structures there.
What you need to keep in mind: Upgrading your Pal Boxes affects how many Pals can work at your base and the maximum number of your camps. However, only levels 10 and 15 affect the max camps.
If you unlock your second base at level 10, the Pal Box also starts at level 10.
How many Pals can work for me at most? You can assign 15 Pals per camp. With a maximum of three bases, that means 45 Pals can work for you. Through settings in your world, you can increase the maximum number to 20 per base, thus a total of 60 Pals.
