In Palworld, building structures is a fundamental part of the game. We will explain how you can also tear them down.
When you have found the perfect building spot to start in Palworld, you can get started and diligently build structures once you have gathered the necessary resources for it. Of course, it may happen that you later realize that you did not place a building optimally and want to tear it down.
Fortunately, this is not a problem. In Palworld, there is a so-called demolition mode that allows you to convert your buildings back into resources and reposition them elsewhere.
Use demolition mode to get full resources back
How does the demolition mode work? To activate the demolition mode, you first need to open the building menu. If you look under the selection circle, you will find the demolition mode here. To do this, you need to press the C key on your PC by default or use the right stick on your Xbox controller.
When you now select a building or object, the object will be highlighted in color. If you then press the left mouse button on your PC or the X key on your Xbox controller, the building or object will be demolished.
What happens to the resources when I demolish a building? If you decide to demolish a building, you don’t have to worry about the resources you used during construction. When demolishing buildings in Palworld, you will get back all the resources you needed for the building.
After you have demolished the building, the resources simply go back to your inventory. So if you realize after building a building that you placed it incorrectly or later decide that there is a more suitable location for it, you can tear it down without hesitation and reposition it.
