What is pure quartz? Pure quartz is a resource in Palworld. You will mainly need the quartz towards the end-game of the game. However, the resource is only present in certain locations in the world of Palworld.

All locations for pure quartz in Palworld
Where can you find pure quartz? Pure quartz can only be found on the northernmost island of the map in the snowy area. The resource is distributed on the ground in shiny deposits, similar to iron or other mining materials.
You definitely need clothing that protects you from the cold for the island. Otherwise, you will freeze in the ice area.

Our tip: Activate the fast travel statue circled in yellow (Pristine Snow Field). There you will find some deposits nearby and you can use the fast travel feature to take the resource back to your base.
What is pure quartz used for? After you have found pure quartz, you can craft circuit boards from it. To craft a circuit board, you need a conveyor belt factory. Then you can craft a circuit board using four stacks of pure quartz and two stacks of polymer. With the circuit boards, you can build electrical machines in Palworld.
What do you need to mine pure quartz? To efficiently get pure quartz, you should have a strong pickaxe. The resource is quite stubborn and can only be mined slowly. We recommend using at least a metal pickaxe to work on the resource.
With level 50, you can unlock the pure quartz mine as a building since the Feybreak update and mine the material there.
Before that, pure quartz can also be automatically harvested, just like all other ores in Palworld. For this, you only need to build a second base.
