You mainly need high-quality Pal oil for crafting items, especially for weapons of levels 21 – 50. Here you will find out where to obtain the material and what you can craft with it.
How to find high-quality Pal oil
You primarily obtain high-quality Pal oil from Pals by defeating them. To get high-quality Pal oil as early as possible, it is advisable to go to desert areas. In the screenshot, you can see this area highlighted in orange. The Pals there have a level between 12 and 19.
The following Pals give you Pal oil as loot:
- Digtoise
- Dumud
- Elpidran
- Grintale
- Mammorest
- Quivern
- Woolipop
- Flambelle
- Relaxaurus
Can you also buy high-quality Pal oil? The short answer is: Yes. Some wandering merchants regularly offer high-quality Pal oil in their stock. One of these merchants, for example, can be found in a small village, as shown in the screenshot. You can also catch a wandering merchant to access their stock permanently.
What you can do with high-quality Pal oil
The first real weapon you can unlock is the musket, which you can obtain at level 21 in the technology tree. To craft weapons in general, you need a weapons workbench, which you can unlock at level 20 in the technology tree.
At level 33 in the technology tree, you can also unlock polymer plates, for which you need 2x high-quality Pal oil to craft one. This will become important later, so you can craft even stronger weapons.
To craft the last weapon on our list, you will even need a circuit board. Circuit boards are made, among other things, from polymer plates and can be unlocked at level 35 in the technology tree.
