What are bones needed for? You need bones in Palworld for crafting various items. This includes, for example, medicine for your Pals, cement for building bases, or the Mega Glider. Therefore, you should ensure to have a decent stock of bones.
To obtain bones, you basically have two different approaches. The first option to get bones is by defeating or catching Pals. The second option is to buy them from wandering merchants.

Farming bones through Pals
Which Pals can I get bones from? If you defeat or catch one of the following Pals, you can score bones:

Farming bones – Top places for every level
Farming bones at level 10
A good place where you can already farm bones at a low level is located in the vicinity of the small settlement, where you can also find a merchant. Both north and south of the settlement, you will find Rushoar and Vixy, both of whom have bones for you as soon as you catch or defeat them.
Farming bones from level 15
If you are already at level 15 or higher, there is another good spot for you to obtain bones. For this, travel at night to the waypoint entrance to the gorge and follow the paths west from here. There you will encounter the Pals Cawgnito and Loupmoon, which are also well suited for farming bones.
Buying bones
If you want to buy bones instead, you need to find a wandering merchant. However, these can be difficult to spot. You can definitely find one in the small settlement. Here, you can spend your gold on bones instead of farming them.
