Which new patch? Palworld recently released its first major patch on Steam, which is now also available for Xbox (April 9). This patch, known as version v0.2.0.6, brought numerous exciting new features such as the first raid boss Bellanoir, the long-awaited management system, powerful new items, and improvements in building.
For Xbox players, the new patch is currently not good news, as it can destroy multiplayer saves for some of them.
Problems for Xbox players after Palworld patch
What exactly is the problem with the patch? When loading multiplayer save data from an older version of the game, all progress can be lost.
In this regard, Pocketpair wrote the following on X:
In the Xbox version v0.2.0.6, which was released today, we have confirmed a problem where multiplayer save data does not load correctly when loading multiplayer save data from an older version.

The developers are aware of the issue and are already working on a follow-up patch to fix it. Until then, they strongly advise against loading multiplayer sessions on Xbox.
They also provide the following note: Multiplayer save data created in multiplayer games after the Xbox version v0.2.0.6 cannot be loaded after the release of the aforementioned patch.

Another problem affects both the Xbox and PC versions of Palworld: Eggs cannot be placed in incubators. Here too, Pocketpair is working on a solution and temporarily recommends dismantling and rebuilding the incubators to work around the issue.
