In the world of Palworld, there are many creatures that live and travel alongside you. There are Pals, poachers, Trainers waiting for you in towers, and also merchants. Depending on the type of merchant, you can trade various items or even Pals with the latter.
In addition to vendors who wait at fixed positions to trade with you, there are also wandering merchants. As the name suggests, they do not have a fixed location. Seeking these merchants specifically is difficult.
What advantage does a merchant bring in the storage? If you successfully catch a merchant, you can use him in your storage just like a Pal. This gives you the advantage of being able to trade without having to leave your storage.
If you have emptied the merchant’s supplies through constant trading, or in the case of a black market merchant, you are not satisfied with the selection of Pals, you can simply put the merchant back into your Pal box. When you place him back in storage, the supply is refilled.
Catching merchants and using them in storage
How can you use a merchant in storage? If you want to use a merchant in your storage, you first need to catch him. This works the same as with Pals: You need to weaken the merchant first and reduce his health points. Then you can catch him with a Pal sphere.
For this, however, you need to use better Pal spheres to increase your chance of catching him or even have a chance at successfully catching the merchant at all.
What should I pay attention to when catching? If you reduce the merchant’s health points, you may receive a Wanted level because you are attacking a peaceful NPC. However, this only happens if you are attacking the merchant yourself.
If you do not attack him and this task is completely taken over by your Pals, you can catch him without receiving a Wanted level.
