A big game like Palworld also harbors quite a few bugs. Some players rightfully wonder: Is this really a mistake, or is it supposed to be this way? Like in the case of a Reddit user who has been dealing with a steadily growing Pal.
What is the situation? Palworld has not been on the market for long. The release on January 19 was just two weeks ago. Furthermore, the game is currently in Early Access. Given that the game is still new and not fully developed, it is not surprising that new bugs continue to be discovered.
Recently, a player found an absurdly large egg in the game world. He wondered which Pal would hatch from it and whether the size of the egg was indeed intentional by the developers.
A similar question was raised by another player. In the case of the Reddit user kaityl3, there was also something that turned out to be a bit too big.
A bug that is causing many laughs on Reddit
What bug are we talking about? In his Reddit post, the user kaityl3 writes: “Every time I return to my base, my lucky Vixy gets bigger.”
And indeed, the accompanying image shows an almost gigantic Pal lying headfirst towards the ground in the player’s base. The Vixy is far larger than normal and would overshadow the nearby trees if it stood on two legs.
The user also writes that the bug disappears for a short time when he removes the Pal from the base and puts it in the Palbox. When he puts it back in the base, the Vixy starts to grow again.
It would now be so large that the player could see it from afar (via imgur.com). Theoretically, he can interact with the Pal normally. Theoretically. Practically speaking, there are some difficulties. Because when the player tries to pick up the Pal, the camera glitches inside the body. The rapid growth does not seem to be intended by the game.
Thanks to another bug, a player was able to view the map of Palworld from above.
What does the community think about the bug? Under the Reddit post, many amused users have left comments. Some of them jokingly wonder if this is really a bug or more of a unique feature.
“You say bug, I say feature,” notes user aluchan91. The bug is so absurd that it mainly causes laughter.

It seems hardly anyone is bothered by the bug. On the contrary, user Smoothsharkskin voices the sentiments of many players when he says, “This is the kind of bug that should never be fixed.”
As long as the actual game isn’t affected, bugs are simply a fun affair. They can sweeten our gaming day and bring a smile to our faces. But not all bugs are welcome: The developers of Palworld warn of a bug that has “No Return”.
