Palworld tests your skills in 5 boss battles against strong Pals. We will show you which bosses await you, where to find them, and how to defeat them.
In Palworld, you can challenge a total of five bosses with their powerful Pals in towers. At the end of the tutorial, you will encounter Zoe and her electric Pal Grizzbolt. After that, the trainers Lily, Alex, Marcus, and Victor will be waiting for you.
We will show you which bosses there are, where to find them, and how to prepare for the battle so that you can defeat them as easily as possible.
Palworld – All bosses at a glance
Which bosses are there in Palworld? In Palworld, you can challenge 5 bosses with their Pals to battles:

Defeating Zoe & Grizzbolt – Here’s how
Here’s how to defeat Zoe and Grizzbolt: To successfully emerge from the fight against Zoe and Grizzbolt, you need to deal 30,000 damage to Grizzbolt.
Since Grizzbolt is an electric Pal, you should ideally have Pals with the ground element, as these are particularly strong against electric. Pals like Rushoar, Fuddler, and Dumud are suitable here.
You should avoid water Pals in the fight.
Defeating Lily & Lyleen – Here’s how
Here’s how to defeat Lily & Lyleen: In the Free Pal Alliance Tower, trainer Lily awaits you with her grass Pal Lyleen, to whom you must deal 69,000 damage.
Grass Pals are strong against the ground element, which is why you should avoid your Pals from the fight against Zoe and Grizzbolt.
In return, grass Pals are very susceptible to the fire element. Therefore, Pals like Foxparks, Rooby, Incineram, Arsox, and Vanwyrm would be appropriate for your fight.
You can also use fire arrows and shoot them with a bow or crossbow to support your Pal in the fight.
Defeating Alex & Orserk – Here’s how
Here’s how to defeat Alex & Orserk: To defeat the dragon and electric Pal Orserk, you need to deal a total of 130,000 damage in the boss fight. You can do this best with ground or ice type Pals.
- Due to the electric element, Orserk is susceptible to ground attacks and strong against water Pals.
- Due to the dragon element, it is strong against shadow Pals but takes increased damage from ice attacks.
You should thus bring ice Pals like Chillet and Frostallion or ground Pals like Anubis and Dumud. Ice Reptyro and Mammorest Cryst are also very good choices.
In the fight, however, you also need to be careful to avoid Orserk’s wide-ranging electric attacks or to resist them as best as you can.
Defeating Marcus & Faleris – Here’s how
Here’s how to defeat Marcus & Faleris: In the fight against Marcus and Faleris, you should rely on water Pals, as the flying Pal is of the fire type. Therefore, you should definitely bring armor that resists heat.
When selecting your water Pals, make sure they do not have ice as a second element since fire is strong against ice. This is the case with Penking, for example. Of course, you should completely avoid grass Pals.
Good water Pals that you could take for the fight are Surfent and Suzaku Aqua. Relaxaurus is also a good choice.
Victor & Shadowbeak – Here’s how
Here’s how to defeat Victor & Shadowbeak: Shadowbeak is a Pal of the shadow element and is therefore vulnerable to attacks from the dragon element. You should avoid Pals of the neutral element during the fight, as they are at a disadvantage against shadow Pals.
To deal the 200,000 life points of damage required to defeat Shadowbeak, you should rely on the comparatively hard-to-obtain Jormuntide or Jetdragon. Orserk and Astegon are also good alternatives.
