In Palworld, many players build impressive bases and share them with the community. We have collected some for you in case you need inspiration.
In Palworld, it’s part of the gameplay to build your own base and defend it against various attackers, but how you design your camp is entirely up to you. You decide whether to focus on functionality or aesthetics.
This is also something that many players on Reddit enjoy. There are numerous posts from players sharing their creations with the community. Some players have even come up with really creative solutions to solve building problems.
We want to show you some creations from the community here that may inspire you and help you become creative yourself.
Base Designs from the Palworld Community
The Wooden Village: Reddit user Val2int built a base where he lined up several wooden houses. The houses seem to serve different purposes. For example, one house contains Pal beds, while in front of another house are various vegetable patches.
The wooden village received over 1,000 upvotes on Reddit, but another user pointed out that a fire Pal could cause a lot of damage if it were to attack the camp. Val2int himself explained that he simply finds the look of wood more beautiful than stone buildings.
The Burning Palace: Other players also love to build with wood. One player shared a photo of a building in his base on Reddit. This building looks like a large palace. The problem is that the player also built with wood – and what was warned under the “Wooden Village” has now become a reality.
The base was raided by fire Pals, and the palace was soon engulfed in flames. At least the user was comforted for his loss with almost 12,000 upvotes from the community.
The Bridge Base: At various locations on the map, there are pre-made, massive bridges created by the developers. You can also build a base on these bridges, as Reddit user MangoLoco demonstrates.
Building a base on a bridge has a significant advantage, but also a notable disadvantage: you can only be attacked from 2 sides – your base is impregnable from the sides.
However, you have to accept wasting usable space. You are limited to the width of the bridge when building the base. A base on a regular mountain or open plain is significantly wider.
The Impregnable Fortress: Speaking of hard to attack: Reddit user Dsj417 thought the same and built his base on a mountain. He additionally surrounded the camp with stone walls. Anyone wanting to attack him must come on a flight Pal.
Within the base, there are also ore and coal deposits, making it particularly suitable as a mining interim storage. However, the functionality of the base significantly exceeds its design. For this, it received over 6,600 upvotes on Reddit.
Attack on Pal-Titan: In games where there are opportunities to build something yourself, there are always players who reconstruct something from another game, a movie, a series, or whatever. This is also the case in Palworld.
User “TryAgainBestie” ventured to recreate the Shiganshina District from the manga and anime Attack on Titan – the hometown of the protagonists Eren Yeager, Armin Arlert, and Mikasa Ackerman.
The medieval design of the stone walls, along with the corresponding roofs, strongly resembles the design of buildings in Attack on Titan in general – not least because of the color scheme. Fortunately, you can unlock the appropriate grappling hook gun in the mid-game.
The Self-Made Dungeon: User Bmfp123 built a base with several levels of stone. The structure is huge and resembles a self-built mini-dungeon – or a temple where Indiana Jones searches for ancient artifacts.
For his mega structure, the player received over 6,200 upvotes and 2 comments on Reddit. One of the replies makes it clear what sets the base apart from many other players’ camps: the size. The commenter states that he himself has a 1×1 box where he sleeps. The rest of his stuff is outside on the ground.
Self-Built Railings for Your Balcony: User Orca-Mayo doesn’t really show much of his base but reveals a little design trick. Since there are no proper railings in Palworld to give your balcony the final touch, he simply took wooden benches and lined them up.
So if you want to build a railing, use benches. With a bit of luck, the developers will also add proper railings in the future so we won’t have to rely on creative solutions from the community anymore.
The Medieval Castle: Player Lightless-meao shared a video on Reddit where she shows the base that she is building together with her partner. It looks like a small medieval castle with houses and walls made of stone.
Within the city walls, there is a small farming area for gardening, various breeding areas, a bathhouse, and a sleeping chamber for Pals and players. The main house also features a cooking area including a bar.
If you want to build spiral staircases in your base in Palworld, you currently have to rely on a trick and build them yourself using wooden benches, as they unfortunately do not exist in the game yet: Palworld: With a trick, you can create custom staircases for your base
