What is ore? Ore is a resource in Palworld that you can only obtain from ore deposits. Unlike wood and stone, there are no deposits for ore that you can simply place in your base. Nevertheless, there is a way to effectively obtain ore.

How to farm ore quickly
If you urgently need ore, you can either mine it yourself or build an automated ore farm and let your Pals work for you.
As long as your base is not at level 10, you have to mine ore yourself. The following locations are particularly suitable because they yield a lot of ore and are relatively close to each other:
With a second base, you can automatically farm ore in Palworld
How do you automatically farm ore? To obtain ore automatically, you first need to have your base at level 10. This allows you to build a second base.
However, note that there are differences between a multiplayer server, playing in coop mode, or single player mode. Depending on the mode, your Pals may stop working if you are too far from the base.
To build a second base, you need a second Pal box. For this, pack the following items:
- 1 Paladium fragment
- 8 wood
- 3 stone

What is the best location for the 2nd camp to farm ore? We follow the advice of Reddit user Hmphy who found a location where enemies cannot start an invasion, allowing you to leave the camp completely unattended. The location is a plateau, with coordinates 191,-38.

How do you build the base for ore? In the center of the location, build a 2 × 2 foundation and place the Pal box on it. Additionally, you should set up a wooden crate, beds, and a trough.
Now select Pals with level 2 in the “Mining” skill. Level 1 Pals cannot mine ores. The following Pals are best suited for this task:
- Tombat
- Dumud
- Digtoise
To make sure that the ore mined by the Pals does not lie on the ground, you also need Pals who will take it to the crates. For this, level 1 suitability is enough.
Is there anything else to consider? Yes, the comfort factor! If the Pals are not comfortable, they will not work. To keep everything running smoothly, you should set up a hot spring, a berry farm, and beds to keep everyone happy.
If you have deployed Pals with the respective skills and your chests are ready, you just need to drop by from time to time and collect the ore.
