With the new update in Palworld, players receive additional possible companions, which can mainly be found in the new area. We at MeinMMO will show you which Pals have been added.
On June 27, the big Sakurajima update for Palworld was released along with a new area. The new area brings a lot of new Pals of various types into the game. In total, there are 14 new possible companions for you. Some new variants of already existing Pals have also been introduced.
All new Pals, their abilities, and their locations
Which Pals are involved? With the new update, several new Pals have also been integrated. Most of them can be found primarily in the new area. However, some, like Mimog, can be found spread across the entire map.

Selyne
What kind of Pal is this? Selyne is a Pal of the elements Dark and Neutral and will likely be known to many as a new tower boss. You can also catch her for yourself. When you defeat or catch Selyne, she drops Sapphires, Cloth, and rare Claws.
Additionally, you can use Selyne as a flying mount, and it enhances fire and dark attacks while you are riding the Pal. In the camp, it can perform tasks in crafting, medical production, and transport, each at level 3.
Where can you find Selyne? This Pal spawns only under certain conditions: During the meteorite event, there is a chance that Selyne will spawn, but only in the new Sakurajima area.
Croajiro
What kind of Pal is this? Croajiro is also among the new Pals that were integrated into the game with the new update. It is of the water type and drops Pal juice and Cloth when defeated or caught.
If you let Croajiro walk with you, you can use it to launch yourself high into the air. To do this, you simply need to climb on top of it. In the camp, it assists you in crafting, transport, watering, and collecting, each at level 1.
Where can you find Croajiro? You can find Croajiro not only in the new Sakurajima area but also in other areas. Additionally, you can find it on Ice Wind Island, Eastern Wild Island, and in the west of Sea Breeze Archipelago.
Lullu
What kind of Pal is this? Lullu is of the grass type and drops you Pretty Flowers and Red Berries. The Pal is particularly useful when you pack it in your camp, as it increases the growth rate of your planted crops. Additionally, it assists you in the camp with planting, crafting, collecting, and in medical production, each at level 1.
Where can you find Lullu? You can find Lullu around the Dancing Sakura Shrine in the new area. However, you are most likely to encounter it east of there, just before the Mushroom Wetlands.
Shroomer
What kind of Pal is this? Shroomer looks like a mix between a dino and a mushroom and belongs to the grass type, unsurprisingly. What is also not surprising is that it drops you mushrooms and red berries.
Shroomer also serves as a mount and is very useful for your camp. With its spores, it ensures that your Pals’ mental state (GEI) decreases more slowly. Additionally, it supports you in the camp with plants, crafting, collecting, and lumbering at level 2 and crafting at level 1.
Where can you find Shroomer? You can find this Pal only in the Mushroom Wetlands.
Kikit
What kind of Pal is this? Kikit is a small ground-type Pal. It drops you some interesting materials, namely leather, bones, and crude oil.
If you have this Pal in your team, it reduces the weight of crude oil and is therefore ideal when you are farming this material. For your camp, it isn’t necessarily the best choice, but it can at least assist you with mining at level 1.
Where can you find Kikit? You can find this Pal primarily in the Northern Rock Fields and in the Southern Sandbar.
Sootseer
What kind of Pal is this? Sootser belongs to the types Dark and Fire and drops you bones, crude oil, and medium-sized Pal souls. And if you place it in your livestock farm, it drops you additional bones.
Additionally, it supports you in your camp with fire production and crafting at level 3. It can also assist you in mining at level 2 or in farming or collecting at level 1.
Where can you find Sootseer? Unsurprisingly, you can find Sootser in the new area in the Mushroom Wetlands.
Prixter
What kind of Pal is this? Prixter belongs to the Dark and Ground Pals and drops you poison glands. The Pal is especially useful in dungeons because when you activate its ability, it finds the exit for you. Additionally, it supports you in lumbering at level 3 and in collecting and medical production at level 1.
Where can you find Prixter? You can find this Pal exclusively in the Northern Rock Fields.
Knocklem
What kind of Pal is this? Knocklem belongs to the ground types and drops you ore. Knocklem has the ability to strengthen its attacks and defense. Additionally, it supports you in the camp at level 3 in the areas of collecting and mining and additionally at level 4 in transport.
Where can you find Knocklem? You can primarily find Knocklem northwest of the Dancing Sakura Shrine.
