What are dungeons in Palworld? Dungeons are sections that are separated from the open overworld, bringing you into specific, more dangerous environments. To enter them, you need to find the corresponding entrance. Usually, these are black, door-shaped holes in rock walls or rock formations.
The layout of the dungeons varies. However, you can often expect a series of larger round areas connected by narrow passages. There are often different paths to the goal.
Most of the Pals that you will encounter are Mau, Daedream, and Fuddler. Depending on the region, specific additional Pals may also spawn.
What is the goal in a dungeon? When facing a dungeon, your goal is the boss of the dungeon. Sometimes the bosses spawn right in front of you in the entrance area, but mostly they appear further back in the maze. These bosses are stronger versions of the Pals living in your current region. There are special rewards for defeating these foes.
Attention: Dungeon bosses are Pals and have nothing to do with the overworld bosses, and they are also not the Alpha bosses that spawn freely in the world.
What items can you obtain in dungeons? On one hand, you can catch dungeon-exclusive Pals. But there are also items:
- Ancient components
- Rubies
- Blueprints
- Technical manuals that grant you technology points
Frequent visits to dungeons are therefore worthwhile.
