HiRez Studios sends its 4th game into beta: the team shooter Paladins can be tested now!

For those who enjoy team shooters, a good time has truly begun. Along with Overwatch and Battleborn, Paladins now joins the ranks of these games. The closed beta started yesterday and the first keys have been sent out. However, testing is only done 12 hours a day, from our time 5:00 PM to 5:00 AM – perfect for a few rounds after work. HiRez (the creators of SMITE) wants to transition to a permanent test as soon as possible, but this still needs a bit of fine-tuning.

Paladins launches with 9 characters, some of which are suspiciously similar to those from Overwatch. But see for yourself and watch the reveal trailer of some characters:
Those who weren’t lucky can also buy into the beta through the purchase of a founder’s pack (link to the official Paladins homepage). For €20 you get immediate access, an exclusive mount, and 20 chests containing 5 different cards each (bonuses that characters can use in-game and are part of the skill system).
