Your first steps through the world of Palworld will be taken in sandals. However, there are a whole range of Pals that you can use as mounts. This naturally allows you to travel significantly faster.
There are a total of three categories of mounts: land mounts for travel on land, water mounts, and flying Pals for fast travel through the air. We will introduce you to land and water mounts in this article. We have already set up our own list for flying Pals.
Please note that we are limiting ourselves here to the Pals that can be caught and freely roam in the world. Through the breeding system, you can theoretically breed any mountable Pal into a very fast mount. For example, a player bred a super fast Direhowl.

The best land mounts – Our Top 5
5. Rayhound
This electric Pal ranks 5th: Rayhound. It can be significantly better than the Pyrin in 4th place. However, you need to upgrade it with Pal essences for that. Then its sprint speed can reach up to 1380.

Running: 700
Sprinting: 1150
Rayhound is quite often found roaming in the world. You can find it in the desert area.

In 4th place are Pyrin and the night version Pyrin-Noct. The fire Pal takes you quickly and reliably across the map and is fairly fast:

The standard Pyrin can be encountered around the Obsidian Mountain – during the day. If you want the fancy night version, you need to visit the area after sunset.

Frostallion and its night version Frostallion Noct enter the Top 3. This powerful level 50 Alpha Pal was recently also featured in a new video. By the way, it is also one of the best battle Pals overall.

This Pal is one of the strongest in Palworld. This is also reflected in its stats as a mount:

Paladius is a pure Alpha Pal. It awaits you at level 50 in the north of the desert at 446 and 681. Use the teleporter “Sandy Dunes Hinterland”.

1. Necromus
Necromus is the night equivalent of Paladius. Unlike the Noct variants, it is a standalone Pal that differs from its daytime counterpart not only in color but also in equipment.
It can also double jump, which makes it a bit more useful. Here are its stats:

Your first water mount: Surfent
The first water mount you will encounter is probably Surfent. This Pal is relatively often found in the world compared to the other two and can be captured quickly. However, it is also the worst of the three:

Sprint: 650
You can find Surfent in these locations: Sealed Realm of the Thunder Dragon and Sealed Realm of the Swordmaster. At night, it also appears at the Sealed Realm of the Stalwart.

With Jormuntide, you can travel quickly and reliably over water. It is also an extremely good battle Pal. Thus, it is the perfect all-rounder among the three water mounts. Here are its stats:
Walking Slowly: 400
Running: 525
Sprint: 700
Jormuntide is found twice as an Alpha Pal: at 349 and -84 near the bridge teleporter. The second location is at -180 and -270 when you teleport to the researchers’ crossroads.

Azurobe is the Pal that will take you over water the fastest:

Extraction shooters are currently on trend. A new competitor for Escape from Tarkov aims to mix the mechanics of shooters with those of asymmetric horror games and feels like Alien Isolation.
What kind of game is this? Level Zero: Extraction is primarily an extraction shooter in which 9 players, as mercenaries, are supposed to scour research stations to secure data from a failed research on aliens. What they find along the way they can keep.
The shooter gets really exciting when it comes to the aliens. These are also controlled by players. While a mercenary team can only start with a maximum of three players, the two aliens are also allied. They can only be defeated if you blind them.

Level Zero: Extraction connects two very different genres
Creepy atmosphere provides exciting moments
What makes the game stand out? Level Zero: Extraction tries to combine the best elements from 2 genres and Alien Isolation and seems to succeed. In the trailer, the game tries to impress with its thrilling atmosphere and shows an abandoned research station that is haunted by aliens.
What is the players’ objective? As a mercenary, the players’ goal is quite simple. Reach the exit without dying and take as much loot as possible. You can also cooperate with other mercenaries outside of your team – or you can take them down and secure their loot. But be careful, not only mercenaries but also aliens are after you.
The aliens want, similar to Alien Isolation, your end and move through ventilation shafts. The atmosphere is always kept tense, as you can be attacked by the aliens at any time. You can only defeat them with a light source, which you should not keep shining all the time because other teams can see it at a distance.
Moreover, you have to be careful not only of aliens and other teams. The levels are also equipped with active mines and loose power cables that want to send you to the grave. Classic for an extraction shooter: Those who die lose their equipment.
What do you do as an alien? As an alien, you have various abilities to eliminate the players. For example, you can become invisible or crawl through ventilation shafts to flank the mercenaries. For better balancing, however, the aliens must collect eggs that give them energy for their abilities.
But you have to be careful, while bullets can’t do much to you, a bright light is enough to defeat you. Once you are on the ground, you respawn after 35 seconds.
When will the game be released? Level Zero: Extraction is supposed to be released in 2024. There will be a beta on Steam starting March 15th, which will run until March 18th. To sign up for that, you can go to the Steam page for the game and click the “Request Access” button. You will already be registered for it.
