Today, on July 21, maintenance is taking place at Destiny. The servers are offline.
If you were planning to play some relaxed Iron Banner matches in the Crucible after work today, you’ll need to change your plans. Bungie is conducting several hours of maintenance.
Starting at 5 PM our time, preparations will begin. Players will not be able to log into Destiny anymore.
At 6 PM, the servers will be taken offline. All Guardians still in the game will be kicked from their activities.
The work is expected to be completed before 9 PM. By then, you should be able to fight the darkness again or smash other Guardians in the Crucible. Experience shows that Bungie tends to be generous with these timing estimates. Usually, the servers come back online significantly earlier. So, not too much time should be lost in order to play the July Iron Banner, which is active this week.
What changes Bungie is making today has not been specified. They might just be tinkering with the servers or preparing for “Rise of Iron”.
The current ranking system of Overwatch was a mistake. This is not just our opinion, but it was stated by Game Director Jeff Kaplan himself.
“In Overwatch, a skill rating of 60 is already extremely good”
A lot of work has gone into the ranked mode of Overwatch, and recently further changes have been made. However, the ranking system is still under heavy criticism, as many players do not want to be “assessed with their team”. This is particularly frustrating when players believe they deserve a higher rank than they actually have.
Jeff Kaplan addressed this in a long interview with Kotaku, admitting that the ranking system in its current presentation was a mistake:
“We realize that the percentage system was a mistake. Our system ranges from 1 to 100. I grew up in North America, and anything below an 80 was not good. I never wanted to have less than 80 [points] in school. I always wanted scores in the 90s, and if you were in the 60s, you might not have even passed. In our system, now that the dust has settled, it turns out that a player with a skill rating of 60 is already extremely good.”
Mein-MMO says: At least in Germany, an assessment of exams is usually not accompanied by a percentage indication. Nevertheless, one can well understand the frustration of many players who feel “bad” with a rank in the range of 50-60, even though they actually belong to the better half. It remains to be seen what Blizzard has planned for the future. We will probably experience further changes to this game mode next month when the first season ends.

Pokémon GO freezes while catching? Here’s how to bypass the annoying error.
For several days now, aspiring Pokémon trainers have been roaming the streets and forests to catch wild Pokémon. The main problems during these adventures are not caused by Team Rocket, but rather server issues with Pokémon GO or the game crashing when trying to catch a Pokémon. Most of you have probably experienced this error many times. We will now show you how to work around this error with a high chance of success.
Pokémon GO crashes while catching
Generally, there are several possibilities for what can cause this bug. In many situations, you can use a trick to prevent the crash and catch the wild Pokémon. This is especially important when a rare Pokémon appears that you absolutely want to catch.
In the upper image, you see a classic situation that often occurs before freezing happens. If you look closely, you’ll notice that certain symbols are missing from the image. This includes the escape symbol in the upper left corner or the backpack symbol in the lower right corner. If you have this scenario before throwing a PokéBall, the next ball throw will most likely cause the game to crash.
In this case, you simply need to wait about 30 seconds to 1 minute and throw the ball next to the Pokémon without hitting it. In 7 out of 10 cases, the symbols returned to the screen for me and my friends afterwards, and we could throw the next PokéBall directly at the Pokémon without the game crashing.
With this method, you will consume more PokéBalls than usual, but you might secure a few more Pokémon.
Wait for the loading symbol
You may have noticed the small loading symbol in the upper left while playing. A white PokéBall that sometimes spins like crazy – Often you see it while walking around. If this ball is spinning when you want to catch a wild Pokémon, then wait until the ball stops spinning.
It often happens that the game crashes if you throw the ball while the loading symbol is spinning.
Pokémon GO crashes (iOS)
As an iOS user, you can help yourself with the swipe menu (where you have access to the flashlight, airplane mode, and so on) to possibly avoid crashes. The instructions are quite simple:
Throw a PokéBall at a wild Pokémon.
Swipe up from the bottom of the screen to open the menu before the PokéBall touches the ground. Opening the menu pauses your game.
Wait about 5-10 seconds.
Swipe the menu back down and check if the loading symbol has disappeared. If not, repeat steps 2 and 3.
See (hopefully) how the PokéBall catches the Pokémon.
Pokémon GO crashes (Android)
On Android, there is a method that may bypass the bug, which is similar to iOS.
Throw a PokéBall at a wild Pokémon.
Also before the ball touches the ground, open the active apps display – Normally, you need to hold the home button for this (this may vary depending on the phone and settings).
Here too, wait 5-10 seconds.
Then, you should go back into the game.
See (hopefully) how the PokéBall catches the Pokémon without crashing.
Let’s start with the 5 addons that have found their way to home users the most.
Deadly Boss Mods
This helper is clearly the most popular of all. It is a valuable companion for dungeons or raids, as it shows the boss abilities. Displayed in a nice and clear timer that can be adjusted as desired. And you should do that because in the default mode, almost everything is displayed, and you will quickly be flooded with information.
Furthermore, one must always be aware that especially with a patch, the timers may not be correct. It is therefore recommended to take a look at the boss, as he usually announces his abilities visually. The alternative to DBM is BigWigs Bossmods; some of you even use both and adjust them depending on the boss fight.
Recount
Number 2 is the DPS meter. However, it does much more than just display the damage dealt. You also receive information about the damage taken or the healing done. This allows you to evaluate, for example, what you died from.
Anyone using boss mods for dungeons therefore simultaneously uses one of these meters. They are essential components and are expected by almost every raid group. For those who cannot warm up to Recount, Skada Damage Meter is an alternative.
Master Plan
Master Plan adjusts the interface of the garrison somewhat. It also suggests a composition of the followers for the missions. Completing these tasks goes noticeably faster. A valuable addon for anyone with a large following.
_NPCScan
This program is used to help find specific mobs more easily. Even back then, something like this was quite useful to find, for example, the time-lost proto-drake in Northrend. For some of you, it only became interesting with Warlords of Draenor. Because this introduced numerous rare enemies that now all needed to be found.
HandyNotes and HandyNotes_DraenorTreasures
HandyNotes is an addition for the map and displays numerous information on it. With plugins, you get even more, like the locations of treasures in Draenor. Those who want to fly must find these, and you can use this addon for that.
A selection of other popular expansions
Meanwhile, numerous of the little helpers have received their update, including:
Addon Control Panel,
Bagnon,
Bartender4,
Gladius,
OmniCC,
Postal,
Quartz,
Titan Panel,
WeakAuras 2,
and many more.
If you haven’t found your addon yet, you can still try it with its alpha or developer version. Possible points of contact are:
In The Division, the State of the Game just took place. We summarize the key information.
In today’s situation report, the developers talked about the last few days and the near future of The Division. First, they discussed last week’s patch, which increased weapon damage in PvP by 20%.
This adjustment has been received positively by the community, according to Massive. The time to secure a kill is now shorter, which prevents minutes-long skirmishes where no one goes down. While this measure has significantly changed PvP, it is a step in the right direction.
Moreover, there is discussion in the forums about the strong NPCs, especially the shotgun types. While some agents see them as a good challenge, others consider these enemies to be far too powerful and needing balancing. Massive is on the latter side: they also see this as a bothersome problem. However, a comprehensive client patch is needed for this, which can only be deployed with 1.4.
AlphaBridge is being fixed today, DeadEYE will be fixed tomorrow
During today’s maintenance, four bug fixes were deployed. Among them is the problem with the AlphaBridge gloves, which can display double values when re-calibrated. The developers are now reversing this. The entire process at the improvement station will be reset. You will receive your credits back if you were affected by this bug.
Additionally, two bugs related to the DeadEYE set will be fixed – but only tomorrow. The fix was initially planned for today, but errors occurred, necessitating its postponement to tomorrow.
Currently, there is a problem where the talent activates (100% chance for critical hits) while the increased headshot damage remains active (this should not be the case). Additionally, the effect of the Brutal talent will no longer be stackable.
To fix these bugs, further maintenance will take place tomorrow. However, these will be shorter than usual. Further information will be provided shortly.
Note: It was mentioned in the stream that a maximum for headshot damage will be introduced in the future. However, details were not discussed.
There will be no weekly situation report in the next three weeks, as the developers will be busy traveling. Therefore, no State of the Game can be held during the launch of Underground on the PS4.
A trailer has been released for the upcoming space simulation No Man’s Sky, which shows the combat in the seemingly infinite galaxy.
What exactly do you actually do in No Man’s Sky? The developers are gradually answering this question with short trailers that introduce the “four pillars” on which the game is based: Exploration, Combat, Survival, and Trade.
Last week, the trailer for Exploration in No Man’s Sky was presented. Now, the focus is on combat, which spans from foot battles to large-scale spaceship battles.

On your journey through the gigantic galaxy, you will zip through solar systems teeming with creatures. However, not all of them are friendly.
In space, ships from “pirates” roam, heavily armed. If you do not avoid them, you will have to prepare for a battle. Additionally, you should be cautious on planets, as aggressive creatures may be lurking for you. With a weapon in hand, you can fight for your survival.
On the other hand, there are also “Sentinels” in No Man’s Sky who want to maintain the natural order. They are referred to as “guardians of peace” and can be found on planets and in the emptiness of space. However, they react to anyone who disturbs their sacred balance – including you if you display hostile behavior.
You will receive a “wanted level” if you behave aggressively towards native wildlife or harvest too many resources from a planet. The higher your wanted level, the stronger the Sentinels that hunt you. This can escalate to massive combat walkers and enormous landing ships.
Defend Yourself with Ship and Multi-Tool
You won’t survive out there with just your bare hands. Therefore, a multi-tool is always at your disposal, which can be used in various ways. You can use it to gather resources or as a weapon, and you can strengthen and upgrade the tool over time. With the right technology, you can take on anything that encounters you in the galaxy.
Your ship is also of great importance for exploration and combat: With various technologies, you can customize the intergalactic vehicle to your playstyle: Equip it with powerful lasers or an improved engine. Increase your chances in combat by strengthening the ship’s weapons and defense.
By the way, you are free to choose how you handle the multi-tool and ship: Do you help the Sentinels maintain law and order, or do you become a ruthless plunderer yourself?
Recently, a graphic has been spreading on the internet for the MMO shooter Destiny, which supposedly shows the exclusive content for PS4.
Update 16.8.: In short: An exclusive quest, a PvP map, and a new ship are coming as PlayStation-exclusive content.
Quest: The questline is called “Show of Strength”. If you successfully complete it, you will receive the new ship named “Timeless Tereshkova”.
PvP Map: The new map is called Icarus and is set on Mercury. The map is medium-sized and designed for all 6v6 modes. There will be both long sightlines and areas for close combat. In the center of the map, there is a main chamber with doors that close.
Original Announcement:
With the expansions in Destiny, Guardians on PlayStation receive time-exclusive content that they can play before Xbox Guardians. This mainly includes weapons, armor pieces, or even entire strikes. For example, the last update in April introduced the nice sniper rifle Zen Meteor, which Xbox users still have to wait for.
The fall expansion “The Rise of Iron” will bring PlayStation-exclusive content. This has already been confirmed. Since “Rise of Iron” will only run on Current-Gen, one can speak directly of PS4-exclusive content. What this content entails has not yet been officially disclosed. However, a screenshot has now surfaced, which is supposed to show the content.
PvP Map and Stylish Ship Only on PS4 This Fall?
The source of the following graphic is the Twitter account of XxHaVoC83xX. The user allegedly received an email from Bungie listing these contents:
According to this screenshot, PS4 Guardians receive exclusively:
A PvP multiplayer map
A questline with rewards
Additionally, a sleek ship is visible, which may represent the reward of this questline.
The time exclusivity lasts at least until fall 2017, as can be inferred from the fine print.
At this point, a clear note: This information is not official and should therefore not be taken at face value. Bungie has not yet commented on this.
Update: Screenshots from our community have reached us from the PlayStation Store. Apparently, these contents are indeed the PS4-exclusive content:
Platform-exclusive content is always a contentious issue in the community. While those affected rejoice over the benefits, others feel disadvantaged – after all, they pay the same amount. However, Destiny is not an isolated case. Marketing deals with hardware manufacturers are common in the gaming scene. For example, The Division favors Xbox and PC agents with time-exclusive expansions.
What do you think about these possible PlayStation-exclusive contents with “The Rise of Iron”?
Beware of scammers exploiting the “Pokémon GO”- hype.
Pokémon GO is spreading rapidly around the world, sending more and more aspiring trainers on new adventures. Unfortunately, all this excitement comes with its downsides. Especially on Facebook, there are increasingly more fraudulent pages posing as the official “Pokémon GO” page and starting contests or similar. Some enthusiastic Pokémon trainers fall for these scams.
“Official” doesn’t always mean “official”
In the past, there have often been contests on Facebook that made one shake their head when their Facebook friends shared them. There was an Audi official page that gave away a brand new car to 3 users – however, the condition was that you had to like the page, share the post, and write your favorite color in the comments. The final prize was, by the way, a picture of a poster of the displayed car.
Even Pokémon GO is not spared from these scammers. Pages like “Pokémon GO Germany Official” or “Pokémon Go – Plus” advertise fake contests that are unfortunately eagerly shared by various Facebook users. At the moment, there isn’t even a trading function in Pokémon GO, which would make it possible to receive a Pokémon as a gift.
Some pages that already had several thousands of likes have been disabled by Facebook. Also warn your friends not to just like and share every random Facebook contest. Official pages often have a blue checkmark next to the name, which confirms the authenticity of the page. Don’t fall for it.
Riders of Icarus, the MMO with many mounts, is currently in the open beta, and already next week, a larger update is coming that raises the level cap and brings new areas, mounts, and challenges.
The open beta for the online role-playing game Riders of Icarus has only been available for a few weeks, and the first update along with an expansion is already here. In “Breath of the Icy Keep,” the world of Riders of Icarus will become significantly larger but also more dangerous. Our heroes can now directly reach the icy shores of “Parna’s Coast,” where the icy keep, the citadel of the archvillain Rondo, is located. Furthermore, we can dive into dark caves, of which the worst is the “Cavern of the Veil.”
To ensure our heroes can face these new dangers optimally, the level cap of Riders of Icarus will also be raised with the update. From then on, we can reach level 35, and the new areas are all designed for this level. Furthermore, we can expect new creatures in the new lands. After all, Riders of Icarus wouldn’t be Riders of Icarus if there weren’t plenty of creatures to tame and ride. Particularly sought after in the new regions are the Karas, Casperts, and Terror Keravs. Additionally, the developers have created an overview video for the update, which we have embedded here for you.
How have you found the beta of Riders of Icarus so far? Is the game still enjoyable for you and is the upcoming update bringing you great joy, or has the air already run out of the Asia MMORPG, with new areas and mounts changing nothing? Let us know and write it in the comments!

Blizzard releases a new teaser for the Overwatch heroine Sombra. Quite hidden, but no chance against the sheer power of the internet.
Sombra likes to play games
In the latest developer update of Overwatch, Jeff Kaplan elaborates on the advantages of the latest patch, introduces Ana, and explains again what the reasoning was behind the limitation of heroes in competitive play. At the end of the 12-minute video, there is a brief flash of just under a second. At first glance, one might think that it is just a visual glitch, but far from it: The developers have implemented new hints.

In just 4 hours, “the internet” researched what this “visual glitch” was about and took some pretty amazing paths. This visual glitch was a barcode. It was scanned and the numbers were then converted into binary code. The binary code was then represented in pixels, which could in turn be converted into a QR code. When this QR code was scanned, you received the following message (translated from Spanish):
“Was that easy? Now that I have your attention, let’s make things a little more difficult.”
Mein-MMO says: Since Sombra is a “shadow”, it is pretty cool to announce this character in such a way and to drop initial hints. Blizzard can definitely be sure that the community will now scrutinize every further content with eagle eyes to bring more details to light. It remains to be seen whether the developers will have some fun with this and mislead fans a few times – we would do that.

Today, on July 21st, there will be maintenance for The Division . The servers are offline.
This morning, the weekly maintenance will take place. Massive is making some adjustments to the servers and fixing four bugs that have crept in with update 1.3 and the Underground expansion.
On PS4, Xbox One, and PC, the servers will be taken down at 9 AM. The downtime will last three hours. Around 12 PM, the developers will hit the button, and the server status will be back online.
This week seems to be the first in a long time where there is only one maintenance. Recently, the developers have rolled out bug fixes and patches more frequently, so a server downtime once a week was not sufficient. Today, problems will also be addressed.
Changes on July 21st.
The changelog mentions four changes that will be implemented today:
In crates in the highest Dark Zone class, you will no longer find Division Tech of blue quality.
In Pokémon GO, fans are excited: Will Pokémon Go really become a paid service starting in August?
We received three messages from excited fans within an hour. Apparently, there is currently a rumor circulating that Pokémon GO will soon cost €12.99 per month. Developer Niantic is thrilled that their game is doing so well, but the current free-to-play phase is only temporary. This is just the trial month. Soon, they will switch to a subscription model..
Whether we at Mein MMO have heard something about this, people are asking visibly frightened and wounded, why they only know about this shocking news from Facebook and not from sites like ours.
As the origin of the news, we were able to identify an article from the well-known German satire site “Der Postillion”: So there is nothing to this news; rather, it is meant to be funny and provoke thought through exaggeration. For example, about the issues of blindly signing terms and conditions that no one reads.
Money is supposedly needed to pay motorcycle riders to release Pokémon
For some experienced internet users, the report is likely to be immediately recognizable as satire. At the latest when it is mentioned that Niantic needs money to pay “Pokémon distributors” who ride around on motorcycles releasing Pokémon.
But some of the younger Pokémon fans are probably not so familiar with the concept of satire, and when the information comes second-hand and looks seemingly official, especially when it is greatly abbreviated, confusion arises. We hope to clarify this with this article, although addressing satire often feels like spoiling jokes.
Recently, the livestream for the “Cosmodrome Winter Tour” was held on Destiny. We summarize the most exciting information.
The stream started with a bang. Bungie released a short trailer for an item that many guardians will desire: The “Iron Gjallarwing Sparrow.” You can watch the trailer directly here:
https://youtu.be/g9NbaNuAA0I
This stylish vehicle is a Sparrow based on the exotic rocket launcher Gjallarhorn. You will receive it together with the Iron Gjallarhorn, if you pre-order “The Rise of Iron.”
Note: The pre-order bonuses apply to PS4 and Xbox One. When asked when Xbox players could pre-order the expansion, Community Manager Deej replied: Soon. A specific date was not mentioned.
Next, early concepts of this Gjallarhorn Sparrow were presented in the stream, where early designs looked more like a rocket launcher than a Sparrow. Before the vehicle was finalized, several ideas were created and discarded. Now it looks like this:
New Gear and Environment with Rise of Iron
Subsequently, the developers presented gameplay footage in the revamped Cosmodrome. But first, everyone showcased their gear that they were wearing:
In Rise of Iron, winter descends upon the Cosmodrome. Destiny aims to depict a dynamic world that changes over time. This is now happening with Old Russia in the fall expansion.
Everywhere there is snow, and the scenery is marked by the work of the Devil Splicers. These are not only in the Plagued Lands, but have also penetrated the known Cosmodrome. The Splicers havecut many metallic objects and even melted some completely.
The Devil Splicers themselves resemble the Fallen closely, as we are used to. They appear somewhat darker and shoot, as seen in the gameplay, with red ammunition. They can be taken down with firepower. The Splicer Outcasts, Vandals, and Shanks do not require any fancy strategy to be defeated. Just keep shooting.
However, SIVA is supposed to grant them special abilities and tricks that we will discover later. The Splicer Servitors can, for example, unleash many attacks in quick succession. By the way: All enemies that the developers encountered in the Cosmodrome were at level 42. It was repeatedly emphasized that everything is still in the development phase and could change by release. Briefly, the Light Level 355 of the guardians was also visible.
SIVA
The SIVA outbreak manifests itself in the form of red “roots” spreading everywhere in the Cosmodrome and the Plagued Lands. SIVA is an old technology, a self-replicating machine, which will pose a threat in “The Rise of Iron.” In design, it is intended to appear both organic and mechanical. In addition to the red “roots,” small black, pyramid-shaped objects on and beside the roots are characteristic of SIVA.
This weapon was briefly visible when Deej died and the perspective shifted to another developer.
The developers traversed several locations in the Cosmodrome, just before Sepiks Prime. They showed how the environment will change. Here is the object that the Ghost is allowed to scan in the “Sepiks Prime” strike:
How the SIVA outbreak has shaped the Plagued Lands can be seen in this concept:
That was all the information from today’s stream. The next livestream will take place during Gamescom in mid-August. Bungie is traveling to Germany to present the new features in the Crucible. We are excited!

From the fleet hub to the fighters and weapons in Infinite Warfare – Everything in the video!
During a live event by Infinity Ward on Facebook, the two main responsible persons were interviewed about vehicles and weapons. Dan Savage and Sean Byers talked about the various aspects of vehicles and weapons in the game and how they were adapted to the new setting in space.
The Vehicles in Infinite Warfare
At the beginning of the interview, they talk about the Retribution, the largest ship of the SATO fleet. On the Retribution, you as a commander have the option to select the various missions of the game from the bridge. The ship serves as a central hub from which you can jump into the various adventures without a loading screen.
The Jackal is a type of jet that is well-suited for aerial combat. When designing the Jackal, care was taken to maintain the desired “NASA meets Navy” theme. With this vehicle, you can maneuver quickly and safely, as it controls similarly to a ground vehicle.
The last vehicle of the SATO fleet is called Raven. With this “ship,” you can transport crew personnel, soldiers, or ground vehicles to various locations.
Settlement Defense Front – abbreviated SDF – is the opponent in this game, which, however, cannot keep up with the SATO fleet in terms of technology. Because they are lagging behind in the fighter jets, the counterpart to the Retribution, Olympus Mons, is huge and makes the SATO hub look small. In general, the vehicles of the SATO fleet are supposed to look sleeker and more polished than those of the SDF.
The Weapons in Infinite Warfare
Regarding the weapons, Sean Byers states that as a “Call of Duty” player, there is no need to worry about getting used to a new design because the “Call of Duty” look as you envision it has been implemented in this game as well. The challenge with the weapons was to make them feel “real” in this futuristic background. This included not only the choice of materials but also the overall appearance of the weapons.
In the video, you can see the various aircraft as well as the weapons in action. It’s definitely worth watching the entire video to get an impression of the new Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare.
The Dota 2 tournament “Red Bull Heroicks” starts this Saturday with the second qualifier. Here, both professionals and pure rookie beginner teams can qualify.
The Red Bull Heroicks is a large German Dota 2 esports tournament where real pro teams as well as various rookie teams can compete, thus receiving a chance to measure themselves against the best. In total, there are four so-called “qualifiers” where rookie teams can also earn a spot in the big tournament. This Saturday, on July 23, the second such round will take place, hosted by our sister site GameStar!
So, anyone wishing to participate with their team can still register for the tournament on JoinDOTA until July 23 at 2 PM. There are a total of 512 free spots for aspiring teams. Each team must consist of at least 50 percent players from the German-speaking area, namely Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. Additionally, players can also name a substitute player in case they themselves cannot participate at short notice. However, this player must not be registered with another team.
“The International” is one notch bigger, but the Red Bull Heroicks are also not to be underestimated.
The final tournament of the Red Bull Heroicks will take place on September 16 in Rastatt near Karlsruhe. There, in addition to the teams participating via the qualifiers, pro teams such as Team OG and Alliance will also be present. You can find all further info about the Red Bull Heroicks tournament (GameStar.de) under the provided link.
What do you think about the Red Bull Heroicks and the qualification rounds? Will you participate or do you lack a suitable team? Or do you think it doesn’t make much sense for a beginner team to compete against real professionals, as these rookies will eat them for breakfast anyway? Let us know your opinion and write it in the comments!

The MMORPG Skyforge is being expanded with a new PvP competition mode, “Battle of Equals”. The update is being implemented today.
The new mode is aimed at both beginners and veterans. You take on a pre-made hero with a set prestige value in the tournaments and fight against equal opponents. The battles are held in a 3×3 mode, and the traditional guidelines for small battles in arenas apply. You have two weeks to achieve the highest score during the qualification phase. After you have completed ten qualification matches, the actual battle awaits you. You will face enemies with a similar rating as yourself.
New PvP battles and many more changes
The 16 teams with the highest overall score can participate in the finals. Fights will be for promotion to a higher league, with each league offering different rewards. 500 for Silver, 1,000 for Gold, 2,500 for Ruby, and 5,000 for Diamond League. The update also brings several other changes.
These include the new region Antea Wasteland. Although the area has been spared from invasions, it is one of the deadliest areas in the game world. Not only the weather, but also the dangerous monsters make life difficult for you. You can expect plenty of missions in the Antea Wasteland. Expansions to the Progress Atlas, legendary trophies, adjustments to prices and currencies, as well as optimizations to classes, PvE, and PvP are also part of the update, along with bug fixes. You can view the very long list of all patch notes on the official website of the MMORPG Skyforge.

Or are you actually angry that you bought it at full price back then? Share your thoughts in the comments and let us know!
Rare, the developers of the upcoming pirate MMORPG Sea of Thieves, have revealed some very interesting new details about their online game.
Sea of Thieves is essentially already an MMORPG, but it is not labeled as such. This is because MMO fans will not find statistics, numbers, menus, and windows here, but rather just the essence of it all – the fun of the game. Rare places great importance on allowing players to simply jump into the game and do everything without the need for explanations. Everything is designed to feel natural and logical. If you want to do something, you should just do it in the way you believe it should work.
Just “do it”!
No one will explain to you for long that you have to combine this with that and drag it into the window after reading this recipe. You simply do everything directly in the game world by interacting with objects. This “just doing” is intended to permeate the entire game. When you encounter other players, you won’t know what they are planning. This naturally means you can essentially trust no one. A crew consists of up to five players.
Because of the open-PvP system, it will be possible to betray anyone at any time. The developers have considered for a long time how they can implement this in a way that feels natural but is not frustrating. Because you are, of course, playing pirates, who are rogues. They have decided that they want to provide players in a group with positive experiences. Cooperative players will be rewarded for their actions. Additionally, you cannot take anyone’s treasures, as loot will always be “personal” to individual players. Furthermore, you will not be able to attack group members.
A natural, open game world
The game world is designed to function in a similarly natural way as the rest of the game. There will be something to discover everywhere – whether it’s sharks or mermaids. There will be battles against suddenly appearing Krakens, and on an island, the undead can fall upon the crew. At sea, you will see ships without knowing beforehand whether the crew is friendly and willing to trade or will immediately open fire, leading to a naval battle. Anyone embarking on quests can expect plenty of adventures.
It is clear that probably everyone wants to be the captain of a ship. Therefore, players will be given good reasons to take on other positions on a ship as well. How this will work is something we will have to wait and see. Certainly, when the Closed Beta of Sea of Thieves starts. A specific date has not yet been set, but it is intended to occur later this year, as the official release of the online game is planned for February 2017.

In exactly two months, the upcoming autumn expansion of Destiny will launch. Before that, Bungie wants to present some new features in livestreams. Tonight, they will take us on a tour through the Cosmodrome and show us how this area will change. Winter is coming and covering Old Russia with snow. But new enemies are also sharpening their claws.
However: The developers will not go into the Plaguelands, the new area of “Rise of Iron” tonight. They will stop just before the border to this “still forbidden zone.” However, the developers are already throwing themselves into the fresh gear in Destiny.
It starts on July 20th at 7 PM. Here you can watch the Twitch stream of the “Cosmodrome Winter Tour”:

The stream will be hosted by Bungie veterans of the development team Shiek Wang and Steve Cotton. They will discuss how the world will change with “The Dawning of the Iron Lords.”
They will also announce the date for the next livestream.
We will publish a summary with the most exciting information from this stream in a timely manner.
As usual, Blizzard keeps changing existing game mechanics. The well-known glyph interface has disappeared. Glyphs are no longer unlocked and they disappear after use. You will have to buy new ones regularly. But how do you use them?
Using, swapping, and removing glyphs
As before, the glyph is initially located in your inventory in WoW Legion. Right-click on it to open the spell book. Then use the cursor to select the corresponding ability you want to affect. Eligible skills will be highlighted directly. The icon of the spell will receive a small pink icon in the upper right corner. This indicates that a glyph has been used. When you use this ability now, the glyph effect is triggered.
If we want to switch the glyph, we proceed similarly. Right-click on the glyph and then left-click on the ability. The only difference is the security question that now appears asking if we want to overwrite the effect. This process can be repeated as often as you want. There are no restrictions. Disadvantage: Each spell can only have one active glyph.
Maybe we don’t want to replace anything, but delete. For this, we need a dust, which can be purchased from the reagent vendor. The system is identical: Right-click on the dust, left-click on the ability, confirm the security question.
Many important glyphs removed – will scribes become unemployed?
Significant glyphs have been removed in WoW Legion. As compensation, some of their effects are already included in the spells. The scribe thus only creates the minor glyphs in a one-time variant – mainly allowing only cosmetic adjustments through these items. In return, the scribe can create Vantus runes. These consumables allow players to fight more effectively against a specific raid boss each week.
What do you think of this change? Are you glad you no longer have to constantly swap glyphs since most will only be cosmetic? Or do you mourn the loss of another customization option?
