When a guild defeats a tough boss on heroic or even mythic difficulty for the first time in World of Warcraft, they usually take a screenshot. After all, you want to brag a little about your achievement and especially on the guild website, a collection of previous successes looks particularly good.
However, sometimes the guild leader misses it or simply forgets to take a proof screenshot. For the European guild Wiping with Enthusiasm, this was not a problem, as they simply cut out the success afterward and created a nice picture around it – although in Microsoft Paint. In Destiny we take a look at the exotic fusion rifle Plan C. Is it worth it in Year 3?

In PvE, Plan C is interesting due to its strong base stats. At close to medium range, you can deal significant damage to enemies, and thanks to its high reload speed, you can put out a lot of damage in a short time. Plan C is also useful when Arc Burn is active.
In PvE as well as in PvP, the exotic perk is exciting: If the opposing Guardian runs towards you and you cannot stop him with your primary weapon, switch to Plan C and fire off a volley immediately. The startup time is minimized when switching weapons. Excellent for fending off shotgun players.
Conclusion: Plan C is still a strong fusion rifle in Year 3, offering advantages in both PvE and PvP. While it may not be a “top tier” weapon – if you haven’t got it yet, you can grab it this weekend from Xur and try it out in the Crucible.

The most important events in FIFA 17 in 2016
EA Sports’ current football simulation FIFA 17 was released at the end of September this year, but the game made headlines months in advance. As early as June, rumors circulated that FIFA 17 would come with the Battlefield engine Frostbite – several sources wanted to know about it. And these rumors were confirmed: The game actually runs on this graphic engine and delivers impressive in-game graphics – in the following months before release, several in-game screenshots surprised fans.

In mid-June, FIFA 17 made a splash at the E3: “The Journey” was revealed, the first story mode in the FIFA series. In it, you take on the role of young football talent Alex Hunter and experience the beginnings of his football career. You get insights into the professional business that are otherwise kept hidden. Sounds exciting – and it is! “The Journey” was well received by many fans, the only criticism: The story could have been longer.
FIFA 17 truly picked up speed in September. On September 13th, the demo version was supposed to be released – but it took forever to arrive. The FIFA community went half crazy and debated hotly when the demo would finally be released. We at Mein-MMO followed this craze all day long, until the demo was released around 7 PM – and then received mostly positive reviews.
On September 29th, the full version was finally released in Europe. Since then, we have been covering the game with detailed guides and regularly informing about the Team of the Week and various events. In the last three months, for example, events in FUT 17 took place for Halloween, for Movember, for Black Friday, or now for Christmas: FUTmas.

2016 is far from over
2016 may be slowly coming to an end, but that doesn’t mean the shutters are going down for FIFA 17. The FUTmas event is ongoing and shortly after that, the highlight in FUT 17 follows: The Team of the Year will be announced and the best cards will come into play.
There will still be a few events in the following months. The teams of the season will also take place in spring. And then the focus will slowly shift to FIFA 18…

The SF-MMO Star Citizen switched engines before Christmas, in the future, it will rely on Amazon. Also, the patch 2.6 has been released.

In Final Fantasy XIV, the new expansion “Stormblood” will bring a new job with the Red Mage. The release date is also known.
At Christmas, most MMORPG studios are quiet and contemplative: the offices are closed, and there is hardly any news. Not so with Square Enix and Final Fantasy XIV. In Tokyo, the big fan convention, the Fan Festival, takes place. As expected, the expansion “Stormblood” was announced.

Stormblood will be released worldwide on June 20, 2017. This is the release date for the new expansion. From Square Enix’s perspective, the date is “pretty sure.” The work on the expansion has been going smoothly so far, so delays are not expected.

First information about the new class Red Mage – with screenshots
The new class is the “Red Mage”, a mix of ranged and melee fighter. The Red Mage has appeared in other titles of the franchise and is considered one of the most popular classic jobs. Fans have been requesting it for a long time – even mastermind Naoki Yoshida is a fan of the class.

Conan Exiles will launch into early access on January 31, 2017 – but initially only on PC. Owners of an Xbox One will have to wait until spring. The Youtuber Marcostyle names two possible solutions for toughness to increase diversity.
One goal is to eliminate the opaque calculations of hit points and armor. This is intended to work by removing the multiplier and introducing an additional “health bar” that represents armor. This armor then acts additively. This makes this value and its scaling more transparent.
