Today, on February 15th, maintenance is taking place for Destiny. Additionally, Bungie is responding to the Super Glitch that has recently plagued the MMO shooter.
Yesterday, we reported on a severe glitch that is causing havoc in both PvE and PvP. This allows for throwing infinite hammers (Titan) and keeping the Arc Blade active indefinitely (Hunter).
This Super Glitch is directly related to Sparrows – in PvP, you can only activate “Hammer Time” if vehicles are allowed.
As luck would have it, yesterday the Combined Arms was activated as a Featured PvP mode. In other words, if you wanted to grab the Legendary Marks and the Radiant Treasure, you had to venture into this crucible mode with vehicles.
However, in recent hours Bungie has intervened. They changed Combined Arms to Hexenkessel: Konflikt. In this mode, you can expect many flying hammers, but it has its purpose. Furthermore, Bungie states that they changed the mode due to an issue (they don’t call it a “glitch”) and that more information will follow soon.
Maintenance on February 15th
Additionally, more hours of maintenance are taking place today, Wednesday. This was already announced days ago. Whether Bungie will be able to resolve the “new” glitch by then remains to be seen.
At 6 PM, the maintenance will begin.
At 2 AM, it should be completed.
There will be no server downtime. The player experience should only be minimally affected. If you are returned to the title screen, you can log back in normally and continue playing.
Yesterday, on February 15th, the update 2.5.0.2 went live on PS4 and Xbox One. This brought some changes to the sandbox, especially regarding weapon balance. We present the patch notes here.

With many new screenshots, Soulbound Studios already offers us a glimpse of the upcoming demo for Chronicles of Elyria.
The Pax East begins in a few weeks, and Soulbound Studios, the team behind Chronicles of Elyria (sandbox MMO), is already working hard on their first playable demo of the game. The new female character models, some new features, animations, and fighting styles are set to be showcased. Here is a brief overview from the last developer update.
First images of new features
Character customization is an important part of any RPG, but has been minimized in many new MMORPGs. According to the developers, Chronicles of Elyria aims to be different, going beyond adjustments like hairstyle, hair color, and skin color. It ranges from the character’s physique to the equipment they wear.
If a character spends a long time in the wild, their hair gets messy and their beard grows
Soulbound Studios goes even further. The character’s activities are also said to have a significant impact on their appearance. Characters who eat a lot and do little movement will become overweight. In contrast, if they move a lot or pursue a physically demanding profession, they will become lean and muscular.

Similarly, the equipment will wear down over time and depending on activity. This can also be seen quite well in the image above. The character there wears a worn, matte chest plate and new shoulder guards that are shining in the sun.
But other activities also affect appearance. If a character falls into a lake, they will get wet. If they wear heavy armor, they can even drown. And if they do not wash their clothes regularly, they will become and remain dirty.
Clothing can become heavily soiled and show water marks
Prologue: The Awakening
The PAX demo is part of the offline single-player demo called “Prologue: The Awakening”, which will be available later for backers and serves as a gameplay test for some of the most important features.
The story of the prologue takes place about 20 years before the release date. The events you experience in the prologue will have an impact on the world on the day of the game’s launch.
The demo is one of the first opportunities for the team to gather feedback on the server and client before the alpha. Here are the features you can expect in the prologue:
Become something (Character creation)
Not naked in the bushes (Inventory and equipment)
Touch everything (Interaction with the environment)
Didn’t see that (Movement and load)
Not dying (Eating, resting, and shelter)
Dying (Character life cycle and souls)
Let die (Combat)
Making things (Crafting)
Cooperate with people (Laws, crimes, and punishments)
Cooperate with nature (Agriculture, hunting, and resource management)
Social skills (Identity, reputation, and NPC interaction)
The city of New Haven is one of the locations that can be visited in the prologue
Next Stop: Alpha Experience
After the developers talked about the 18 biomes of the MMORPG in one of their last Q&As (Tundra, forests, steppes, deserts, savannas, jungles, and more), the next topic in the Q&A will be “Alpha Experiences”.
The Q&A will be streamed on Twitch and will take place on Thursday, February 23, at 12:00 AM our time. The whole thing will also be available as a recording on Twitch and YouTube afterwards.
For those of you who missed the last Q&A on the topic of settlements/player cities, here is a brief summary of the Q&A session:

In Blizzard’s online card game Hearthstone , it is now confirmed which nerfs are coming and how the ranked play will change in the upcoming patch.
For weeks and months, there has been speculation about how Blizzard would intervene in the meta of Hearthstone. While it is balanced, it is quite one-sided. Pirates dominate in fast and aggressive decks.
Now it is known which cards Blizzard wants to change:
The Small Buccaneer will soon have only 1 health instead of 2 health points as it does now. This is intended to allow more classes to remove him more easily.
For Shaman, the 1/3 weapon Spirit Claws will become a 2-mana weapon. It was too strong in combination with Blood Mage Thalnos or the Shaman spell damage totem (it deals 3 damage with spell damage boost). Increasing the mana cost is meant to reduce the efficiency of the Shaman spending as much mana as he currently has.
Both cards have contributed to an aggressive “Rush” playstyle lately. Blizzard aims to achieve more diversity in the meta. The new changes are expected to come in February with an update.
Another change concerns ranked play. When players reach ranks 15, 10, or 5, they can no longer drop below those ranks, even if they experience a losing streak. These are “Safe Floors.” Previously, this was only the case at rank 20 and the Legend status.
Blizzard has addressed the difficult balancing issue in a variety of posts. In summary, the balancing in Hearthstone has been as good as never – even the best decks had win rates very close to 50%. However, the same cards appeared in too many decks. Even though there was variety in the pirate decks, it always felt “the same” to either lose or win against them.
In “Rush” decks, games are often decided after just a few turns. On the other hand, playing “Control” decks can stretch a Hearthstone game for several minutes longer. For those who want to finish many games in a short time, “Rush” decks are the better choice.
Background on the nerfs that have been long overdue can be found here:
The lead hero designer of Heroes of the Storm talks about the many freedoms and challenges in developing new (and old) heroes.
Tomorrow, the “For Azeroth” event begins in Heroes of the Storm, where players can earn new mounts in both HotS and World of Warcraft. On this occasion, Kent-Erik Hagman, the Lead Hero Designer of HotS, answered a lot of questions about the development of the various heroes.
The freedom that developers have is often both a blessing and a curse. Especially with heroes that could not be played in other games and had few gameplay elements – like Chromie or Medivh – it can sometimes be difficult to capture the essence of the character properly.
“At the beginning, we wanted to make Medivh a healer. He had this powerful healing-over-time effect (30 seconds!) that he could give to his allies (Aegwynn’s Blessing). But time and again, we faced the problem that it didn’t align with the fantasy of portraying this powerful mage as a healer. When we combined that with additional abilities, like the ability to throw people into a tornado (which later became the Ley Line Seal) and him being able to fly around as a raven, he felt more like a druid of the claw than the Last Guardian of Azeroth!”
Later, Medivh was then made the “Negation Mage” which corresponds more to his appearance in Warcraft 3.
Another challenge is choosing the right point in a character’s history to transfer them into the game. Arthas could have been the peaceful paladin from Warcraft 3 instead of the Lich King, or Thrall could be the more tranquil “Earth healer” that he has become in the latest expansions of World of Warcraft. The expectations of players are important here when they hear a name and have a specific image in their mind:
“When we decide which version of a hero to take, that is a decision we make on a case-by-case basis. For example, Samuro had little appearance in WoW but perfectly fit the Blademaster combat style from Warcraft 3. The same goes for the “Mountain King” in the form of Muradin.”
Hagman is particularly pleased when ideas from “his” game are also transferred to other games.
“Murky has a complete quest line in Legion, Rehgar was prominently featured in the quest “The Elements Call”. Better yet, you can even fight against Li Li and Chen in WoW, who use their abilities from Heroes of the Storm. To be honest, that brought a little tear of joy to my eye.“
Blizzard changes the rules for account creation in Korea – the hackers in Overwatch will be severely affected.
Hackers and cheaters are a global problem in Overwatch, but no region is hit harder than Korea, where there is almost no match without cheaters. The reason is that cheating in Korea is particularly easy and consequence-free. Most of the gaming occurs in the “PC Bangs” there.
PC Bangs are essentially internet cafes with high-performance computers, where you can play pre-installed games for an hourly fee – including Overwatch.
Cheaters create an American or European Battle.net account and log in with it at the PC Bangs – if the account is banned for cheating, they create a new one in a few seconds.
After banning thousands of players repeatedly, Blizzard is now reacting “properly” and changing the game rules in Korea. On Reddit, user lomotos10 translated Blizzard’s Korean post, which roughly includes the following points:
“We are trying to find every possible solution to tackle script creators and their distributors, including legal consequences.”
“Regarding issues outside the game client, we are currently addressing unusual VPN accesses from PC Bangs. (Such as individuals simulating that they are in a PC Bang and therefore enjoying all the ‘advantages.’)
The most important point is likely the last one:
“Starting from February 17, 2017, we will change the terms of use. Foreign accounts will be able to play games in Korean PC Bangs if they have activated a game license on their account (= the game purchased). This will initially only apply to Overwatch, soon Diablo 3 and StarCraft 2 will follow. Korean accounts are not affected by this change.”
In Korea, only one account can be created per person anyway – anyone caught cheating with that account does not get a second chance.
Whether this will ultimately curb the cheaters and fraudsters remains to be seen. It will likely give the cheating player base a significant setback, as they would now have to buy a fresh copy of Overwatch every time the account is banned.

The highly futuristic “Tek Tier” technology marks the beginning of the endgame for ARK Survival Evolved. Tomorrow, on February 14, the first phase of the Tek Tier will begin for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. We will provide an exact time for when the patch arrives as soon as we know. The patch has been live on PC since January 30.
The update includes new equipment for survivors and dinos. In addition to the items, ARK introduces the new resource “Element,” which you can only acquire through boss fights. We will also welcome new dinos.
ARK: Tek Tier Loot, Element, and Boss Fights
To craft the new Tek Tier items, you will need the new resource “Element.” To obtain the rare Element, you must prevail in boss arenas and defeat the bosses.
Each boss has 3 difficulty levels: Easy, Medium, and Hard. If you manage to defeat the boss at each level, you will receive the Tek knowledge engram, the rare Element, and other rewards. To ultimately craft the Tek items, you will also need a Tek Replicator.
ARK: Crafting Tek Replicator
Before you dive into the futuristic dino adventure, you will need the Tek Replicator. The Tekgram you need for the Replicator is always obtained from the first boss kill.
You will need the following resources for the Replicator:
75 x Element
5000 x Metal Ingot
600 x Crystal
150 x Black Pearl
800 x Polymer
ARK: Tek Tier Phase 1 – New Items and Laser-Dinos
First, Studio Wildcard is launching the Tek-age with Phase 1. Additional phases will be added to the game over time. In Phase 1, you can expect these items.
Tek Helmet – Contains three types of vision: Sonar (identifies Tribes, Allies, Enemies, and Creatures), Night (see in the dark), a combination of Sonar and Night. The helmet has a built-in oxygen tank.
Tek Boots – Boots that allow you to run up walls and ignore fall damage.
Tek Shirt – Functions as a jetpack.
Tek Pants – Provide super speed, allowing the player to sprint through objects. Together with the Tek Shirt, they give more flight speed.
Tek Gauntlets – Deliver a powerful power strike.
Tek Rifle – The rifle can be synchronized with the Tek Helmet and deal double damage, runs on the new resource Element.
Tek Rex Saddle – Gives the T-Rex lasers.
Tek Replicator – Required to craft Tek Tier items.
Tek Transmitter – Teleporter that can transfer characters, creatures, and items.
ARK: New Dinos in the Tek Tier Update
The sheep “Ovis Aries” is now part of the dino family with the Tek Tier update and brings a few friends. These are the new dinos:
In For Honor we present the key combinations for all combos (actions) of the twelve heroes.
The basics of the combat system in For Honor are learned quickly. At the start of the game, a tutorial shows you how to enter the guard mode, how to execute and parry attacks, how to break through defenses, and how to dodge strikes. You can read about these basics in our beginner guide.
However, the “Art of Battle” is more complex than it may seem at first glance. Each hero has unique traits, hero-specific special attacks, and combos. You can view these in-game by clicking on Customize in the main menu, selecting Heroes, choosing a character, pressing “How to Fight,” and then selecting the action list.
The Combos of All Heroes, Classes, Characters
Each hero has several combos (actions), which may also show symbols alongside the key combinations. These symbols mean, for example, Chain Attack (you must execute the strikes in an uninterrupted sequence) or Unblockable (this attack cannot be blocked).
The meanings of all symbols can be found in this screenshot:
Below you will see the key combinations for the PS4. On Xbox One and PC, you must press the respective equivalents.
R1 stands for Light Attack
R2 for Heavy Attack
Left Stick (L) for Move (in the corresponding direction)
Right Stick (R) for Weapon Position
Square for Break Guard
X for Dodge
L3 for Sprint
Keep in mind that you need to be in guard mode for most combos.
In Destiny, the weapon balance patch goes live today, on February 14th, for PS4 and Xbox One. Information about the server status for this update can be found here.
Finally! The long-awaited balancing update is coming tonight! Rarely have players looked forward so much to a sandbox patch – but this is desperately needed in Destiny, as the current meta has dominated for too long.
The update 2.5.0.2 will be released on February 14th at 7 PM our time. There will be no server downtime. It will be available on PS4 and Xbox One.
Starting at 7 PM: When you finish your activity and return to orbit, you will be taken to the login screen to download the hotfix. After that, you can continue playing as usual.
At 11 PM, all players who have not yet installed the hotfix will be removed from their activities. By now, you will be taken to the login screen, where you must download the hotfix.
By the way: Tomorrow, on February 15th, there will be several hours of maintenance work. However, you should still be able to continue playing as usual during that time.
What changes does update 2.5.0.2 bring? – Preliminary patch notes
Only this evening around 7 PM will the complete patch notes be released. We will report on it shortly and provide the important info in German.
The patch only makes sandbox tuning – no bug fixes or other new features will be included. This information was revealed in the livestream a week ago:
Shotguns:
No aim assist when fired from the hip
In jumps, the accuracy is significantly reduced
No additional damage for headshots (except Chaperon and Universal Device)
In PvE, the base damage is increased by 20%
With Snapshot, you take 25% longer to aim with a shotgun.
Pulse rifles:
7.7% slower rate of fire for rapid-fire pulse rifles (Griff of Malok)
Smart Dragon and Griff of Malok come with smaller magazines
High-caliber rounds are weakened, but the flinch overall is also reduced for pulse rifles.
The slowest pulse rifles fire 5.3% faster.
Pulse rifles, scout rifles, and auto rifles are now more accurate when fired in the air.
Auto rifles:
Slow-firing (Suros Regime) deal more damage
Precision hits deal more damage (from 1.25 to 1.3)
Hand cannons:
Higher initial precision, but range is decreased by 5 meters.
Special ammo:
Upon death, you lose all your special ammo, but special ammo crates will appear more quickly.
You need to be closer to the crate to receive ammo.
When eliminated, players only start the first round with special ammo.
Class changes:
Hunter: The Blade Dancer’s knife gives back a large amount of health, but no shield anymore. The throwing knife now deals solar damage.
Warlock: The Stormcaller has less range in melee. Landfall is weakened and now reduces the time in trance.
Titan: Juggernaut is disabled when Titans are in the air – but this takes a while.
In the arena of Hearthstone gold cards have been taboo so far. Whether that will change soon is revealed by Ben Brode in our interview.
In the past few days, we had the opportunity to conduct an extensive interview with Ben Brode, the Game Director of Hearthstone.
Gold cards are considered one of the “prestige” options in Hearthstone that allow for a bit of bragging. They are just as strong as regular cards but have elaborately designed graphical effects. You receive them either by playing a class for a long time, having great luck when opening packs, or simply spending large amounts of Arcane Dust to craft the cards directly.
However, so far golden cards can only be used in “Constructed” – the ranked and unranked game modes of Hearthstone. Fans of the Arena game mode, which is the biggest draw for part of the player base, are currently left out.
Our question was: Why are cards not golden in deck building in the arena that you own as “golden” in your own collection? Is there a specific reason why there are no golden cards in the arena?
Ben Brode gave us a clear answer:
“We believe that it would be a fantastic feature and are already working on it.”
So it is only a matter of time before the arena is also visited by “completely golden” decks – especially professional arena players like the streamer Kripparian are likely to enjoy it.
Generally, the developers of Hearthstone seem to be focusing more on the arena mode lately. Just recently, they published a “Top 100” list of the best arena players and announced that they will be adding more spells to the arena in the future. This aims to shed the reputation of “Curvestone”, where the player simply wins who has the minion with matching mana costs in hand for every turn.
There is a sign of life from Lost Ark, one of the hottest games of the coming years.
Lost Ark is like “Diablo 3 with more MMO elements, new graphics, and even more action.”
The hype for Lost Ark is based on a misunderstanding
There is quite a hype around the game, which is based on a misunderstanding. Lost Ark was once portrayed bombastically on major gaming sites years ago, as a kind of “Next Gen Diablo 3” that would be released any moment, because it already looked so complete in gameplay videos. That’s why a hype developed. Fans react horrified that Lost Ark does not appear in “The Hottest Games of 2017” lists.
The reality is: We don’t even know how far along the game is. A release date for Lost Ark could still be far away. One hasn’t heard much from the action MMO again, since it had its first closed beta in August 2016. And that’s also normal for this kind of game.
In South Korea, they develop games behind closed doors, occasionally letting players have a look during a beta phase, then closing the doors again for a long time until the next beta phase, which can be a year away.
While here in the West a “Closed Beta” is the signal: It’s coming soon! We’ll be playing this in a month or two. They’re finished with development and are just testing a bit now. For us, a closed beta is often just a promotional effect, like a demo used to be.
Means a Closed Beta in Korea: Some development step is just finished, it can also be a very early stage. The developers want feedback now.

However, between these Korean beta phases, very little is heard from the games.
Sign of life from Lost Ark
Now there’s at least a small sign of life. In South Korea, Smilegate is looking for local QA Game Testers, meaning playtesters, to take a closer look at leveling, jobs, quests, and the combat system. They have apparently been searching since January. Now in February, there is a deadline for the search to be completed.
Asia specialist Steparu thinks this could indicate a next closed beta in summer 2017.
By the way: Whether Lost Ark will come to Europe is still not so certain. Recently it looked like Smilegate is focusing on the Chinese market.
A look at Fairy Tale Busters, an anime shooter from Japan.
Fairy Tale Busters has reached open beta in Japan. The third-person anime shooter offers both PvE and PvP modes.
In PvP, there’s a team deathmatch with four maps, and a “melee-only” mode is also available. There’s also a “sniper battle” and a king of the hill variant.
In PvE, you play against bots in co-op mode.
Additionally, there’s a kind of shopping district, a city map for social interactions, where you can shop and meet each other.
In For Honor there is an in-game shop: Here you can purchase items for real money (microtransactions) and steel.
“Steel” is the in-game currency in For Honor. By participating in matches, you earn steel. You need this currency to, for example, recruit heroes or unlock items in the in-game shop.
But what does the in-game shop actually offer? Here is an overview.
From Season Pass to Steel – What you can find in the in-game shop
You access the shop through the main menu. Select the “Shop” tab and you will see a window with various offers that you can purchase with your currency (real or virtual).
First, you can top up your steel supply with real money. 5000 steel costs 4.99 Euros (cheapest offer), 150,000 steel costs a whopping 99.99 Euros (most expensive offer). In between, there are several steel packages of varying price levels:
With steel, you can purchase armor packages – all of them “Mythic Armors”:
Immortal Knight: 45000 steel – for Wardens, Conquerors, Peacekeepers, Lawbringers
Immortal Viking: 45000 steel – for Raiders, Warlords, Berserkers, Valkyries
Immortal Samurai: 45000 steel – for Kensei, Shugoki, Orochi, Nobushi
Immortal Assault: 36000 steel – for Wardens, Raiders, Kensei
Immortal Heavy: 36000 steel – for Conquerors, Warlords, Shugoki
The Champion Status offers you various benefits: You receive more materials through disassembly, +25% XP boost, three exclusive Champion emblems, more loot at the end of matches, an exclusive Champion symbol, and +10% boost for allies.
Three days of Champion Status cost 2000 steel, a year costs 65000 steel. In between, there are several tiers.
Gift Packages:
If you have 30000 steel left, you can purchase a package that unlocks all gifts of all 12 heroes at launch.
In addition, there is the Season Passfor Year 1 available in the shop. 30000 steel is listed as the price.
Update: This is a display error as Ubisoft reports. The Season Pass is NOT available for steel, but only for hard Euros.
In short: There are no items in the in-game shop that give you direct advantages in combat against other players. You only find cosmetic items and can speed up progress. However, the contents can also be earned.
The action MMO Warframe (PC, PS4, Xbox One) is getting a bard among the cyber ninjas. The new Warframe is codenamed Bard Frame.
While other games regularly introduce new weapons, Warframe does have those, but also regularly debuts new “Warframes.” These are the bodies that players can inhabit – essentially, new heroes.
At Pax Australia in November, the team presented the “Bard Frame.” This is really something quite different.
In January, the innovative concept was further explored in a developer stream, the Dev Stream #82. A YouTuber summarized it in a widely noticed video.
http://youtu.be/rcnLR55ulTc
The new Warframe does not have a name yet. Currently, it’s running under the working title “Bard Frame.” The special thing is: players will be able to compose the songs that the bard plays themselves. Those who don’t want to do that can use pre-made songs. The “self-composing” takes place through a futuristic-looking interface, a semicircle known as a step sequencer.
It sounds like one of the most exciting ideas of recent years. YouTuber Mogamu believes Bard Frame could be a lot of fun with potential for a social media cult. It will be interesting to see how it develops further. It is definitely something quite different. Spontaneous raves and bursts of music are possible, bringing light, color, and above all, music into the game.

The exact details of what the powers will do are still unknown. From the little that is seen, YouTubers believe it will be a range Warframe focused on crowd control or buff effects. But we likely won’t have to wait much longer for more information.
Recently, the Warframe Nidus was newly introduced. However, he does not shoot music, but exploding maggots.
A new hotfix for World of Warcraft fixes many small bugs. But raiders can also rejoice, they have to go into the nightmare less often.
In World of Warcraft, there are still small bugs that spoil the daily experience for players. The latest hotfix has addressed and eradicated many of these small bugs. However, these changes and corrections also mean slight nerfs for some classes – such as the Shadow Priest.
Druid
Wrath of the Sleeper can no longer harm allies (previously reflected “Friendly Fire”).
Hunter
Bestial Wrath and On the Hunt can now deal critical hits.
Priest
The talent Soul Harvest no longer incorrectly increases the damage of Shadow Word: Death.
Shaman
The Greater Earth Elemental now correctly pulses its threat within a 15-meter radius.
In PvP situations, Surging Waves should no longer receive double penalties from effects that reduce healing (like dampening in the arena).
Quests
Apart from these class changes, there is also a change to the quest items for the mission “The Essence of Power.” This requires players to visit the Emerald Nightmare on “Normal” or higher – a total of 30 essences must be collected. The drop rates for the quest item Corrupted Essence have been significantly increased.
The quest “Essence of Power” is part of a very long questline that players must complete to unlock another skin for their artifact weapon. Because players have to visit the now “outdated” Emerald Nightmare numerous times, many feel artificially slowed down and have repeatedly requested an increase in drop rates to reduce the grind somewhat.
Our hotfix will likely go live in the coming night – that is, along with the weekly maintenance on February 15, 2017.
In Conan Exiles, you must keep your slaves alive with disgusting slurry. We will tell you how to make the “delicious” slime soup here.
In Conan Exiles, you are not only barbarian warriors, hunters, and gatherers, but also slave drivers! After all, you don’t want to do all the tedious work in your barbarian fortress alone.
Unfortunately, the whole slave labor has a catch: the miserable slaves need their slurry, a disgusting slime soup, otherwise they will not work at the wheel of pain and will never become your loyal servants. But where do you get the slurry? There is no recipe for the slime soup in the game, so how do you make it? We found out!
Tasty Slurry for the Slave!
The slave slime soup is actually easy to make. You just need 5 plant fibers and 1 seed grain. You put these together with fuel (wood, sticks, or coal) in a campfire, and soon you should have the disgusting slave food.
You put the slime soup slurry as a kind of “fuel” in the wheel of pain and then let your slave turn it until he obeys you and for you – depending on the profession – forges, fights, or dances. To enslave a slave for one hour at the wheel, you need 80 units of slime soup.
The Slurry of Death
You can also eat the slurry yourself in case of acute food shortage. However, it is considered a lowly slave food and is therefore far from nutritious. Slime soup only restores one food unit.
Moreover, the slurry will eventually go bad. Then you should certainly not eat the slurry anymore, as it will immediately take away 20 units of water from you and make you die of thirst in no time!

The Slave Gang, Shaved Barbarians, and Gigantic Genitals!
The first mods for Conan Exiles cover a wide range of ideas. These include meaningful and useful features such as portable lightweight slaves who then stand by us as our “gang”.
However, there are also curious mods like silly giant weapons or even larger penises that flap impressively in the wind. All mods from the Steam Workshop must be activated separately in the game. Sometimes they only work after several restarts.
Me and My Gang – Lighter Thralls – Create Teams
What to do if you have no friends in the Conan world but still want to venture out as a group? Wouldn’t it be wonderful if you could take your slaves as fighters instead of always leaving them as guards at the camp?
With the mod Lighter Thralls – Create Teams, this is no longer a problem, as you can now carry your slaves as 5-kilo items and drop them at any position. For example, you can set up an ambush. However, be aware that your slaves can also die in combat, making all your training efforts futile.
Bark is an important resource for steel production. Only those who happily use large amounts of bark while tanning animal hides will receive the coveted tar as a “waste product.” Bark, on the other hand, can only be harvested in small quantities when you use a pickaxe instead of an axe on trees.
The useful mod EvenBetterBark simply gives you more bark when you hit a tree with the axe. However, it only works with steel and iron pickaxes, but as long as you don’t have iron yet, you don’t need much bark anyway.
You can find the mod EvenBetterBark at the provided link in the Steam Workshop.
Never Get Lost Again! – MapCoords
Conan Exiles does not provide you with any help in the basic version. You can barely look at a map and recognize your current position in it. Nothing else. Therefore, it can happen that you can’t find your way back to your corpse and lose valuable resources. Or you forget exactly where your house is? Or the once found iron deposits that you can no longer remember?
With the mod MapCoords, the map is divided into grid squares with numbers and letters. This allows you to easily note where you found what on a piece of paper or document. This simple mod should make the game significantly more comfortable and less frustrating.
You can find the mod MapCoords at the provided link in the Steam Workshop.
Oily and Shaved – Shaved and Oiled
Normally, your barbarians run around dirty and hairy through the wasteland. But with this mod, you can oil your barbarians and give them a sexy shine. Additionally, the mod Shaved and Oiled (Female Version) also removes the pubic hair of your barbarian women.
By the way, there is a mod for men too, but it’s called Oiled Male Models. But no matter if woman or man, there is no creature that can escape an oiled Scotsman barbarian!
This mod pack lets your silliness run free! Because if you’ve always wanted a meter-long penis, truly gigantic breasts, elephant ears, or green skin, you can indulge in this mod.
The mod Beyond Limits does exactly that – it lets the sliders during character creation in Conan Exiles go to the extremes, creating truly bizarre barbarians. If you like, you can even wander around headless in later versions of the mod!
You can find the mod Beyond Limits at the provided link in the Steam Workshop.
Yuck Spider! – Replace Spiders with Snakes
Are you terrified of spiders and can’t even tolerate the creatures on your screen? Too bad, because in Conan Exiles there are truly enormous spiders that attack you with their poisonous fangs. This is not fun for real arachnophobes.
Wouldn’t it be great if – let’s say snakes – had eaten all the spiders? With the mod Replace Spiders with Snakes, this is exactly what has happened. Instead of creepy spiders, there are now snakes everywhere where the nasty crawlers used to lurk.
If you are more into oversized weapons from anime and manga, then this mod is for you. With Weird Weapons, you get a feature that significantly enlarges all weapons. This makes the fights in the desert barbarian game, however, accidentally funny.
You can find the mod Weird Weapons at the provided link in the Steam Workshop.
This is our selection of funny, useful, and silly mods in Conan Exiles. Have you tried any mods? What is your favorite? Let us know in the comments!
For Revelation Online, there is already a release date for the open beta in March. It serves as a kind of soft launch, as there will be no wipe after the open beta. Additionally, owners of founder packages will have name reservations and early access to the open beta in February.

No wipe planned after the release of the open beta
The open beta will function as a kind of soft launch. As my.com stated in response, there is NO wipe planned after the open beta. Players will, however, start anew in the open beta. Progress from the closed beta will not be carried over.
For the open beta, anyone who downloads the game client can join the beta for Revelation Online and get a glimpse of the game. Owners of founder packages still have a few nice advantages.
Those who own the particularly valuable deluxe founder package can reserve their name in the game as early as February 14, 2016. Those who bought a regular package can log in their desired name on February 16. The promotion is valid until February 21.
Early access to the open beta also in February – Initially only in English
As an additional bonus, all founder package owners can access the game on February 27 and immediately create a hero with the previously reserved name. Unfortunately, the open beta will initially only be available in English.
The promised German and French localization unfortunately cannot be offered at the launch of the open beta. Developer My.com aims to provide the missing language versions as soon as possible and will also offer free character transfers to the corresponding realms.
Anyone who does not have a founder package can purchase one from My.com using the provided link.
The EU West servers of League of Legends (LoL) now offer you the opportunity to train your skills in Sandbox Mode. We will show you how the practice mode works.

The practice mode on the EUW servers of League of Legends is now available. You can find it by clicking on “Play” in the main menu and then on the “Practice” tab. There, next to “Combat Training,” is the practice mode. Once you start this mode, you can first choose a team and add bots. Once you start the game, you can choose a champion as usual.
In the game, you will see a bar with many icons on the left side of the screen. These new features will help you with various scenarios you want to test in practice mode.
How to Train Your LoL Skills
On the first page, you can choose from the following functions:
Automatically reset cooldowns
Automatically restore health
Automatically restore mana/energy
Increase gold (10,000 per activation)
Set experience level
Teleport to mouse cursor
Revive
Turret invulnerability On/Off
Turret fire On/Off
Minion spawn On/Off
Fast forward game by 30 seconds
Spawn enemy practice dummy
Spawn ally practice dummy
Remove practice dummies
If you click on the down arrow, the second page with functions follows. These functions are particularly interesting if you want to practice in the jungle:
Spawn jungle camps
Spawn jungle plants
Spawn different types of dragons (Cloud Drakes, Mountain Drakes, Infernal Drakes, Ocean Drakes, Elder Drakes)
Additionally, there is a function to reset the entire game and start over. This way, you don’t have to create games with bots repeatedly and select the same champion, but can try new paths or strategies in the same game.
Use this practice tool to try out new champions in the jungle and test various routes with them. With the settings for turrets, you can comfortably farm minions on the lanes and practice last-hitting. If you want to quickly change a build, you don’t have to farm for minutes first, but can add a lot of gold.
Have you tried the practice mode yet? What features should Riot add?
