In For Honor (PC, PS4, Xbox One) we take a look at all 12 hero classes that will be available at the launch of the fighting game.
In For Honor, you find yourself in the middle of a war between knights, vikings, and samurai. You take on the role of 12 playable characters – the heroes. These are powerful elite fighters who can plow through foot soldiers with their weapon and engage in brutal duels with other heroes.
All Heroes and Classes of For Honor in Detail – Playstyle, Weapon, Abilities
All 12 heroes come with unique abilities and cater to specific playstyles. Each character is meant to feel unique and have advantages and disadvantages in certain situations.
The playable heroes can be divided into three factions: The Knights, the Vikings, and the Samurai. Each faction has four hero classes.
The Knights aim to protect their homeland against invading forces in For Honor. They have succeeded in doing so for centuries – thanks to their great heroes. However, they now face two adversaries, the Vikings and the Samurai, whom they must stop.

SWTOR attracts old and new players with great bonuses – it has never been easier to reach the endgame and get suitable gear!
At Star Wars: The Old Republic, the winter sales for experience points have apparently started. The developers at BioWare have decided to give SWTOR players a little “goodie” to bridge the time until the next patch.
From February 7, 2017, to April 10, 2017, there is 150% additional experience points for regular leveling and expansion of the Galactic Command.
Now is the perfect time to quickly level up secondary, tertiary, and quaternary characters to the maximum level and simultaneously boost the rank of the Galactic Command to unprecedented heights. Since better gear is directly linked to the Galactic Command, this is likely the perfect opportunity for many players to prepare for the endgame content and be ready for upcoming operations.
If that is still not enough experience points, the bonuses can also be combined with the boosters from the cartel market.
In League of Legends Patch 7.3 the Sandbox mode will be released that players have been waiting for so long. We have the LoL Patch Notes 7.3 for you.
Patch 7.3 in LoL particularly targets the current (Pro-)meta and makes balance adjustments to popular champions. However, changes will not only affect the professional scene. For a large part of the community, the Practice Tool should be interesting.

While you can also do this in regular game modes, the Sandbox mode gives you special features like resetting jungle camps, infinite gold or invulnerable towers. We have presented to you everything that awaits you in this mode here. Training Mode in League of Legends – What Can You Expect?
Episode 4 of the living story of Guild Wars 2 was supposed to start on February 7. However, a wild snowstorm at the developer location in Seattle ruined everything.
Those who had reserved the evening of February 7 for the exciting fourth episode of the living story in Guild Wars 2 likely got frustrated and turned to another game. Instead of aiding Queen Jennah in the fight against the white mantle, players were left waiting in vain. The update for the next episode simply wouldn’t come.

The reason for the delay of the new episode was force majeure. The Seattle area in the USA, where developer ArenaNet is located, was afflicted by particularly severe snowstorms at the planned update time. The blizzard was so intense that there were mass power outages in the area.
Without power, servers can’t run, so ArenaNet had no choice but to sit in candlelight and do nothing. By the way, no improvement is in sight yet.
In the official Guild Wars forum, Communications Manager Gaile Gray apologizes for the inconvenience and will also notify when the servers are back up. You can find the post in the sources.
Along with fun and horror, Cortyn experiences mainly one thing in the horror game Dead by Daylight: frustration to the limit.
Happy Wednesday everyone! After I have given too much attention to my favorite WoW in the last few weeks, I am now complaining on a different front. So what else is left but to dedicate a few lines to my new “underdog” Dead by Daylight, which has carried me through many a night?
The most annoying thing in the game is that there are still “Infinites.” On some maps, there are situations where survivors are simply unreachable. To explain it roughly: the killer is usually faster than a survivor. For a survivor to escape, he must either shake off the killer or buy time by jumping through windows. The killer can only pass blockades significantly slower.
Now, there are some situations where a survivor can simply “endlessly” toy with the killer (hence “Infinite”), while the rest repairs generators until the killer frustratedly stops the chase. Especially the players of the first hour, often recognizable by their prestige clothing, take advantage of such spots.
Equally frustrating is the matchmaking. Although I have surely improved in the last few weeks and now consider myself a “solid” killer with all characters, the matchmaking is a joke. Not only is it common to be mixed with 4 survivors at rank 1 while at rank 15, but also earning rank points is too easy. As a killer, I am currently at rank 3 – which is significantly better than I actually am. I am not as good as the game portrays me.
This is mainly because as a killer, you have to achieve very little not to fall in rank. Here a survivor hit, there a player successfully sacrificed – and you don’t drop, even if I was led by the nose 90% of the time. Currently, it is even possible for all players (survivors and killers) to leave a match so that they all rank up – that’s just ridiculous.
Survivors mock the killer
One last point is the “elite” players who hang out in voice chat as a group of four (for which the game, according to developer statements, is simply not designed) and are all armed with a flashlight and the Saboteur perk. It takes what feels like 20 seconds before there are four “Pling” sounds in a match and all hooks are destroyed, meaning I can no longer sacrifice the survivors in the usual way (the basement with the “indestructible” hooks is too far away).
But instead of ending it quickly and winning, the survivors mock me. As soon as I catch one of them and want to pick him up (silly of me, because where am I going to take him?), 3 people stand in front of me with their flashlights and blind me repeatedly. Over and over again. After that, they run in circles around me, teabagging like crazy and spamming emotes – should things get serious, they sprint away using the perk “Sprint Burst.”
In such moments, I don’t feel like the powerful killer that survivors should fear. I am no threat, but merely “points on two legs” that can be milked. I feel like the bullied outsider in a school playground shoving circle, who in desperation can only lash out in anger – or, in my case, simply escape the nightmare with Alt+F4 and hope to sink low enough in the ranking to play against reasonable people.
Sure, as the developers said, they are currently working on a massive update of the engine, which takes a lot of time. But when the base game has been suffering from bugs for over 2 months that ruin almost every match for the “better” players, and they also announce a console port… I have to wonder where the priorities of the developers really lie. As sympathetic as they are to me, I cannot understand it.
I really hope that the upcoming patch addresses all these issues – because the game itself is exciting and entertaining. But the bugs and annoyances lead to so much frustration that I currently log in less and less often.
Will submachine guns (SMGs) return to former glory in The Division? The latest PTS patch gives hope.
I still have it in my stash: my AUG. It was never one of my absolute favorite weapons – I always preferred the AK-74 black market version or the Vector – but it was a deadly beast.
In the early weeks and months, submachine guns dominated the scene in The Division. Leading the charge were the AUG and the Vector. Alongside the M1A sniper, they were the dominant weapon category in PvE and PvP. They were devastating at close range, devastating at medium range, and devastating “from the hip.” For long-range, one would pack an M1A sniper in the secondary slot and be ready for any danger.
AUG
The Decline of Submachine Guns
It is the same in The Division: What is powerful gets nerfed sooner or later. Submachine guns were hit particularly hard. Update 1.3 introduced a weapon balancing mechanism that granted new bonuses to weapon categories.
On top of that, the Vector and AUG were reduced in base damage by 10%. Massive made sure that submachine guns were dethroned.
With updates 1.4 and 1.5, they further stomped on the SMGs. The hip fire, once a major advantage of SMGs, was reworked so that the submachine guns exhibited extreme scatter. Assault rifles have since been superior to SMGs in almost all areas, which is why we already came to the conclusion: SMGs are currently “complete trash.”
SMGs Regain Former Strength
Since yesterday, the PTS Phase 4 is live, and it brought a surprising innovation: SMGs are getting their old bonus back! The developers had not talked about this at all, which makes this step quite surprising.
In short: Submachine guns are receiving the bonus for increased critical hit chance back. The maximum roll is expected to be around 22%.
Massive claims that during normalization testing in “Last Stand,” they observed old SMGs that still had the old bonus. They actually wanted to remove these weapons completely, but they performed excellently, and people enjoyed playing with them. Therefore, SMGs with critical hit chance will not be removed – instead, all SMGs in 1.6 will receive this bonus back.
On Reddit, agents are already writing: “Welcome back, SMGs!” How powerful they will ultimately be in the live version of 1.6 is yet to be seen. But one thing is certain: Along with the new Valkyria set, the eyes will once again be on the SMGs.

With the WoW token, you can now purchase services in Overwatch, Hearthstone, or HotS. Yes, even whole games. But when is this coming to Europe and Germany?
On the night from Monday to Tuesday, the change went live in the USA. With the WoW token, which can be purchased for WoW gold, players in the USA now receive Battle.net credits. Until now, the WoW token could only be used to purchase game time in World of Warcraft, but now the offer is broad.

WoW token triggers economic speculation in Azeroth
This has led to prices for the token skyrocketing in North America. Initially, the token cost about 58,000 gold in the USA. This rose throughout yesterday to 115k gold. However, it then flattened out to 72,000.
Source: wowtoken.info
In Europe, the price was already around 114,000 gold before, and it then increased to 200,000. However, it has now fallen back to 118,000. Meanwhile, the adjusted token is not even live in Europe yet.
Source: Wowtoken.info
The value of the WoW token is not directly determined by players, but rather regulated by an algorithm based on supply and demand. Players hoard these tokens or have already hoarded them in the past.
So there is a bit of economic speculation happening in Azeroth.
When is the WoW token with these features coming to Europe?
When is this going live in Europe?
Many thought the “new” WoW token could go live in Europe today after the reset. But that did not happen.
In the MMO shooter Destiny, today, on February 8th, the weapons day is celebrated. These orders are brought by Banshee-44.
Today is “weapons day” in two ways. Already in the morning, the gunsmith Banshee-44 begins his weekly weapons day: He brings your forging orders from last week, takes new orders, and, as always, has test weapons, telemetry, syntheses, weapon parts, and armor materials.
This evening, it will once again be about weapons: Bungie is holding a livestream with sandbox designers who will talk extensively about the upcoming balance patch. We will follow this stream live and deliver the information quickly in German.
These weapons are available for testing
If you want to rise in Bungie’s reputation, you need to execute its test weapons in practice.
A Häkke auto rifle has its sights set on the Cabal.
A Suros auto rifle aims for the Crucible.
An Omolon hand cannon wants to land precision shots.
A Häkke pulse rifle also wants to enter the Crucible.
A Häkke pulse rifle aims very precisely and demands precision shots.
These 5 weapons can be ordered this week
For 2500 Glimmer, you can choose forging orders:
First up is the Häkke auto rifle Arminius-D. A fast-firing weapon with impact 2. It is among the better auto rifles.
No desire for strangers? In Overwatch , you will soon be able to earn XP in private matches! Also: Server browsers are coming, “Capture the Flag” remains as a mode.
Overwatch has released another “Developer Update,” in which Jeff Kaplan talks about upcoming new features of the hero shooter. One point that has been long requested by the community is the introduction of a server browser. That’s exactly what is happening in the upcoming patch, as Kaplan explains in the latest video:

Those who want can create their own games with the release of the next patch and have these listed in the “server browser.” There are also numerous filter functions that allow you to narrow down the selection. Should only friends be able to join the game? Do you want to only search for control point maps?
A lot of fine-tuning will soon be possible. If desired, individual heroes can be completely removed from cooldowns, allowing Widowmaker – like Spiderman – to use her grappling hook permanently. A “boss fight” is also possible, where a Roadhog has three times the health points and faces off against 6 other players with half health points.
Roadhog as a cool boss opponent? Soon possible with the settings.
However, the feature is still in an early form. In the coming months, it is expected to be further developed, depending on community feedback – ultimately, the number of customization options should be “virtually endless.”
Experience points also in the “Custom Game” mode
For many games, it’s a taboo: as soon as players are able to determine the factors for a match themselves – such as setting both teams and match duration – there is no progress in currency or resources. Such matches are merely “for fun,” so they can’t be exploited for quick leveling. However, Overwatch takes a different approach and allows exactly that: experience points in private matches.
You can also earn loot boxes in private matches soon – fun and rewards for everyone!
The exact details are still to be awaited. However, it can be assumed that there will be significantly fewer experience points than in Quick Play or a Ranked match. Blizzard will likely want to avoid “mindless afk-farming” in its own interest.
Capture the Flag remains
As expected, the “event” mode Capture the Flag will remain in Overwatch. At the moment, it functions as the event “Capture the Rooster” on three maps. It is supposed to work on 9 other maps.
The mode will be configurable like the others, allowing players to customize it according to their preferences. Hero abilities can be turned on or off. The rules for flag capturing are selectable.
All of this is supposed to come with the next patch. Blizzard has not yet provided a date for it.
Content and patches without pause in World of Warcraft? The developers stick to their goals.
When looking back at the last few years of World of Warcraft, most fans were excited at the launch of each addon but lost interest in the game more and more over the following months. The reason for this was often that there were drought periods in which no new content was being developed, because the developers were already preparing for the next expansion.
With Legion, everything was supposed to be different – and so far it has been. With each addon, the developers have learned a bit more about how to manage their time better and work more effectively on content, ensuring that there are no long breaks.
In an interview with Gamespot, the developers said:
“Our team has grown continuously over the years, and it’s also a matter of just working ‘smartly’. We have learned over more than 12 years how to make WoW – some here have been working on WoW for 15 or 16 years. We’ve learned to work on several patches in parallel and to integrate large patches with smaller patches.”
“It was a major goal for us with Legion [to bring continuous content]: We can only know how it has been so far, but it feels like Patch 7.1 came at a time when players were very happy with it – just like Patch 7.1.5.”
Cortyn says: So far, Blizzard is fulfilling all the major promises made with Legion and is regularly delivering content, which is not least favored by the delays of individual raids. Personally, I am still enjoying the game, and at least the Night Fortress will probably entertain me for a few more weeks before boredom might set in. All that remains is to hope that the plans for Patch 7.2 will also be fulfilled – because summer is still a long way off, and barely any of the “big” features can probably be postponed.
ARK Survival Evolved is the most downloaded game on the PS4 in January, and now even for the second time in a row. ARK PS4 – the combination apparently matches like bacon and eggs.
Sony recently announced its top downloads from the Playstation Store for January 2017. ARK: Survival Evolved reached the top spot on the PS4 in both Europe and North America.
Thus, the dinosaur survival game from Studio WildCard takes the leading position in PS4 downloads for the second consecutive time.
ARK prevails, even against other major new releases
In December, ARK had already shot up to number 1. However, there were no major new releases for the PS4 besides the dinosaur survival game that month. This time, in January, major titles like Capcom’s “Resident Evil 7: Biohazard” were released, and yet ARK was able to prevail again.
Top 10 PS4 Downloads in Europe
Here are the top 10 PS4 downloads in January for the European region. Rocket League and GTA also made it to the podium.
ARK: Survival Evolved
Rocket League
Grand Theft Auto V
Battlefield 1
Mortal Kombat X
FIFA 17
EA Sports UFC 2
Battlefield 4
Star Wars Battlefront
Resident Evil 7 Biohazard

Overwatch turns Bastion upside down and gives him many new values. But Mercy is also significantly more useful now – at least on the current PTR. Read here the Overwatch PTR patch notes.
A new patch is currently being tested on the Overwatch PTR and it has quite a few changes in store. Especially Mercy and Bastion can look forward to some adjustments that are clearly to be considered buffs.
Bastion – The tank destroyer with more endurance
Several weeks ago, the developers announced massive changes to Bastion, as he is rarely picked in the current meta of the game. He was simply too stationary and too easy to counter – which is supposed to change now.
Configuration: Sentry
Activation time reduced to 1.0 seconds (previously 1.5 seconds)
Bullet spread increased by 50%
The bullet spread is now always at maximum
Magazine size increased from 200 to 300
Headshot multiplier removed
No longer deals critical damage
Configuration: Recon
Bullet spread reduced by 25%
Magazine size increased from 20 to 25
Self-repair
Can now be cast while moving
Now on the secondary fire button (right mouse button)
Is no longer interrupted by damage taken
Has a new resource that is consumed upon use and recharges when not used
Configuration: Tank
No longer grants additional armor
New passive ability: Armored
Bastion takes 35% less damage when Configuration: Tank or Configuration: Sentry is active
Oh dear, Bastion is almost getting a complete overhaul. Our favorite omnic (no offense, Zenyatta) will likely be picked much more often when all these changes go live.
Mercy – Undefeated instead of victim
Resurrection
While Mercy is casting Resurrection, she temporarily becomes invulnerable, just like the resurrected allies
Although it is only a single balance change for Mercy, it should have a significant impact on her playstyle. So far, Resurrection was often used in a way that “throws away one’s own life” to save the team. Now Mercy can also continue to participate in the fight after the resurrection if the allied team acts quickly and strategically.
Apart from these two changes, the new patch also brings several other adjustments to the settings, allowing mouse sensitivity to be adjusted more accurately for various abilities.
You can find the complete patch notes in the original English in our sources.
No specific date for the release of this patch has been announced yet.
What do you think of these changes? Bitterly necessary or is Blizzard tinkering too much with the heroes? Let us know in the comments!
On PC, hair and beard growth have been live since January 30. If everything goes smoothly, the patch will be available on February 14 for PS4 and Xbox One. Then players can also show off their hairdressing skills there.

Fat beats and Murloc slime – the next patch for Heroes of the Storm will have fans’ hearts racing.
The upcoming patch of Heroes of the Storm is expected to go live in the evening hours of February 14th. Currently, players can try it out on the PTR and get a glimpse of the new hero Lúcio, who is transitioning from Overwatch to the Nexus. Additionally, the patch includes a complete overhaul for the little specialist Murky.
In Overwatch, Lúcio is one of the most popular supporters in the game, as he is particularly flexible and can support his team in various ways. In Heroes of the Storm, he will possess similar abilities.

The trait Wall Ride allows Lúcio to slide along objects and obstacles, becoming 20% faster and able to glide through other units.
Soundwave deals damage in a cone-shaped area and pushes enemies back.
Crossfade corresponds to Lúcio’s passive auras from Overwatch. He can switch between “Healing Boost” and “Speed Boost”, which slightly heals nearby allies or accelerates them.
With Amp It Up, the current aura is massively enhanced for 3 seconds – meaning more healing or a speed bonus of up to 45%.
The first heroic ability is Sound Barrier. Lúcio and all nearby allies receive a massive shield that diminishes over 6 seconds.
The second heroic ability Reverse Amp turns Lúcio into a debuffer. For 4 seconds, his auras become negative effects that either harm or slow down opponents – depending on the active Crossfade aura.
The new Murky – Nasty, fun, but also fair
The new patch also brings a massive overhaul. Murky, the little Murloc specialist, is being fundamentally reworked.
Especially Murky’s pufferfish can now be stabilized. Instead of dying from 3 automatic attacks, it now has a fixed amount of health points, but can also be targeted by abilities and towers.
Murky himself has nearly 15% more health points, but now only reemerges from his egg after 8 seconds (previously after 5 seconds).
A lot has also changed with the talents: Murky can now recruit mercenaries much faster and even lay down false eggs to confuse enemies – when the eggs are destroyed, they cast “slime” on their attacker. Players can debuff Murky’s automatic attacks with a stackable debuff that slows enemies by 10% – up to 5 times in a row. Together with the slow effect of slime, selected victims will then only move at a snail’s pace.
Especially at level 20, the talent will bring a lot of joy – it allows Murky to summon the March of the Murlocs endlessly, making a huge area – theoretically – impassable or single-handedly taking down an enemy fortress.

So far, it is known that Conan Exiles is set to launch on Xbox One in Spring 2017.
