Ghost Recon Wildlands did not exactly create enthusiasm during the beta. The good news is that the developers have made several improvements since then. Read here how the Day-One patches have changed the tactical shooter, especially on PC.
Ghost Recon Wildlands – Day-One patches brought many fixes
The reason for the better gameplay experience of the release version is two large Day-One patches of over 3 gigabytes that were implemented into the game on the release day. These patches were initially described only as performance and visual improvements for weather and climate. In reality, however, there is much more, although many of the changes only apply to PC for now.
This is because no one on PC prevents Ubisoft from releasing new content while developers on PS4 and Xbox One always have to subject new patches to a review process by Sony or Microsoft. But enough of the preamble, here are the patch notes for the Day-One updates of Ghost Recon Wildlands.

It is now official for The Division: There will be a Year 2! This brings three important innovations.
Recently, the livestream for the one-year anniversary of The Division took place. The Shared-World-Shooter was released on March 8, 2016. For the birthday celebration, Massive held a livestream, a special report where they spoke about the future: about Year 2!
Year 2 brings Events, Loadouts, and Feats
Right away, the most important information: All content coming in Year 2 will be free! It will be released on all platforms simultaneously. There is neither time exclusivity nor a season pass.
In total, two expansions will come this year. The first is expected to be released in the summer, likely in July or August. However, there will be further updates, bug fixes, and balance adjustments throughout the year.
The goal that the developers are pursuing in Year 2 is a fun and balanced gameplay experience for the agents. Generosity, fun, and “repeatability” are emphasized. They want to achieve this through three innovations.
Seasons – The Events in The Division Year 2
The events coming in Year 2 are referred to as “Seasons”. These are playlists of activities that are constantly modified with modifiers. For example, you have to eliminate enemies at close range to deal more damage to them. From a greater distance, you deal hardly any damage. The developers can also change the meta with the modifiers, so you have to rethink your builds each time and adjust them to the new challenges.
There are rewards just for participation, but also for your performance in these events. If you are particularly good, special rewards await you. There will be leaderboards.
Loadouts are coming
Loadouts are coming! With this, you can save your builds and switch between them with one click. In total, there will be 6 loadout slots that you can access through the inventory. These can be adjusted and revised at any time. Loadouts save your equipment, talents, and chosen skills.
The loadouts will appear with the first expansion in the summer.
Feats are coming
Additionally, a new feature provisionally called “Feats” is coming. These are in-game rewards that you receive when you achieve something absolutely great. You can then equip this reward to your character and show it off in-game to other players: Look, this is what I have already achieved!
These feats serve as a reward for great achievements, but also as a checklist. An example given: If you master all three missions on Legendary, there is a reward.
Information about the story in Year 2: The developers know that players are craving a continuation of the story. They are trying to incorporate as many narrative elements as possible into Year 2. The second expansion, in particular, is supposed to deliver this content.
Gifts for the Birthday
Additionally, the developers thank everyone who played The Division in Year 1 during the stream. The community has had an enormous influence on the developers, who have gone through a huge learning process. The agency is very passionate, and they are excited that there will be a Year 2.
For the birthday, there are also gifts. If you log in from March 9 to March 16, you will receive a free emote where you raise your fist in the air, and 200 premium credits.
Also, starting tomorrow, events will begin where you will receive double rewards for HVTs and double operational performance containers.
All Overwatch fans are waiting for the new hero Orisa. But she is not as ready as players would like.
The latest hero in Overwatch will be Orisa: an Omnic built from the remnants of an old OR-15 unit by the prodigy Efi Oladele. She has been available on the PTR for a while now, and many had hoped she would have already arrived on the live servers – but she has not.
In the past, new heroes in Overwatch – like Ana and Sombra – were always tested on the PTR for only a few days before being released to the larger player base. Orisa is an exception here, as the developers apparently are still not completely satisfied with the Omnic lady. The latest update from the PTR has caused her to undergo some nerfs. Her magazine size has been reduced, and the charge time for her ultimate ability has been increased.
In the official forum, Jeff Kaplan commented and explained that Orisa will likely be released “later this month”.
“Just to clarify, we are keeping Orisa on the PTR for a while longer. We are getting great feedback and fixing many issues. I know this feels longer than the other PTRs, but we believe this will lead to a better outcome. We know how much you are looking forward to Orisa joining the other heroes … and she will soon … but probably not until later this month and not early.”
No concrete release date for Orisa has been mentioned by Kaplan yet, but at least “March” is still on schedule.
At least players on PC can currently check out Orisa themselves and simply visit the PTR to get a first impression of the new tank. Gamers on PS4 and Xbox One, on the other hand, will have to wait further.
In the SF-MMO shooter Destiny, Bungie is presenting the Age of Triumph in a stream tonight, the new update. We will live-ticker in German.
At Bungie, nothing happens without being presented in a live stream that is announced multiple times. And if they need a live stream for a simple balancing update, then there will be three for a “real” content update. If Bungie ever decides to present Destiny 2 in live streams, they will definitely stream every Wednesday for a quarter of a year. May the Traveler be with us.
But that is still a long way off; the spring update is just around the corner. It is expected on March 28.
Ryan Paradis. He is the lead designer of the live team, the team that is supposed to provide content “between the DLCs”. Paradis previously worked at Rockstar, contributing to Red Dead Redemption and GTA 5. He has been with Bungie since October 2013, designed the Patrol system at launch, and was then responsible for content such as the Festival of the Lost or the Prison of Elders, and the Spring update 2016.
The other guest is Joe Blackburn, a senior raid designer. He was already part of the live stream for “Wrath of the Machine”.
The whole thing will be moderated by Destiny’s announcement officer, a man named DeeJ.
We may also see a funny bunch of hobbits providing gameplay… but they usually remain nameless.
18:53: Welcome to Mein MMO. The site where the editor-in-chief works overtime on Wednesdays while the trainee returns from a cool event in England.
19:00: Starts around 19:06. About 50,000 people are currently in the Twitch stream.
Destiny: Old Raids Returning – at the Current Light Level
19:10: “All” raids are coming to the new light level. The goal is to bring all old raids to a “final light level.” Age of Triumph will be the last live update for Destiny 1.
19:14: The record book for Age of Triumph is being presented. It starts at rank 0. It is designed to guide players through the new content. DeeJ talks about the emblem. The community was right: the emblem had already hinted at what would come. The record book has 13 pages, and it is meant to accommodate 3 years of Destiny.
Day-One Players Will Receive a Special Emblem
19:16: The record book will show who is a “Day One Guardian.” Anyone who completed an activity before “Darkness Looms” will receive their own emblem. There should be something in the record book for every type of player that highlights and emphasizes their playstyle.
19:18: Even those who have completed everything up to this point will be able to fill half of the record book with new things. “Achievements” that they have already completed can be redeemed in the book with the content update and they will receive the reward for it.
When Will the New Update Release? Release Date Known
19:20: The release date for the update is indeed March 28. As everyone was already aware.
19:21: Oh, there are record pages for every single class. To fill the book, you will need to have actively played all 3 classes.
19:24: For hardcore players, the achievements so far all look like “Yeah, sure. I’ll do that before breakfast” – Nightfall under 30 minutes, 500 precision kills in Strikes. These are achievements that can only be approached after the launch of the update.
All 4 Old Raids Are Returning at Light Level 390 – Max Light Level for Guardians Remains
19:26: The new raids will come at light level 390. The 4 raids are: Glass Chamber, Crota’s End, King’s Fall, and Wrath of the Machine. For old raids that had no challenges, challenges will be added – such as Crota and Atheon.
19:27: The light level in Destiny will remain at 400 for Guardians. It will NOT increase.
Vex Mythoclast at Light 400
19:29: Vex Mythoclast is coming back. However, they want to talk about this and other rewards in two weeks.
19:31: You need 100 shaders and 75 ships for the respective achievements. 130 dead ghosts, 25 Siva fragments.
19:33: Rank 25 with the factions is enough. So everything is quite reasonable for avid players.
19:35: Once in the Guardian’s career, you should have been to Mercury, for a “Flawless Ticket” in Osiris. This is also part of the record book. To “complete” Osiris, you only need 6 out of 7 achievements.
If You Have Rank 7 in the Record Book, You Can Buy a T-Shirt in the Real World
19:38: As a reward for completing the record book, there are various emblems. At rank 7, there is something special from the Bungie Store: a customized T-shirt, but it must then be purchased for real money. It is said to be a “reasonable price.” Curious about how shipping costs to Europe will turn out…
19:41: Oh dear, with the T-shirt. I don’t know if they are doing themselves any favors. I already see the shitstorm on the horizon.
Raid of the Week
19:42: There will be a featured raid every week where all challenges are activated. In Glass Chamber: Templar and Atheon. As a reward, there is raid set gear. The Atheon challenge is said to be the toughest one Bungie has ever designed.
19:44: There are new rewards in the old raids when they are featured. New raid gear for Glass Chamber with two ornament slots.
19:46: The first new raid is Crota’s End. In the second week, Atheon will be the new raid of the week. Once a raid has been the raid of the week, the 390 mode is available. In the third week, Oryx comes, and in the fourth week, Wrath of the Machine will be the “raid of the week” with special rewards and all challenges activated.
19:50: Now there’s gameplay from the Glass Chamber with level 40 mobs. It is NOT going to be about taken or SIVA here.
19:52: They initially wanted to change the raids significantly – to disable “shortcuts” but then decided to keep the raids as close to their original feel as possible.
19:56: Destiny 1 is expected to stay online for the “foreseeable future.”
19:59: Each raid will receive two new armors with ornaments. Wrath of the Machine will also receive an alternative for those who already have it.
20:00: The stream is slowly winding down. Next week, on Wednesday, March 15th, at 7 PM, there will be the next round. We will be back here at Mein MMO with another live ticker.
When is the promising MMORPG Dark and Light going to be released? According to the developers, we can at least expect an early access phase in 2017.
Last autumn, it was said that the MMORPG Dark and Light was to enter early access in 2016. However, the year passed, and there was no playable version of the online role-playing game to be seen. In December, it was stated that the content for the early access version was almost ready and would start in 2017. Many fans assumed that it meant early 2017. But now, it’s March, and the MMORPG is still not playable.
Early Access Phase Starts Later
Now, Publisher Snail Games has spoken out on Facebook, stating that fine-tuning and a revision of the graphics and animations are currently taking place. Therefore, the early access phase of Dark and Light will start later this year. Whether this will affect the planned release date in the fourth quarter of 2017 for the official version of the game is currently unknown.
A sandbox with many possibilities
Dark and Light is a new remake of a sandbox MMORPG from 2006, which is now being implemented with the Unreal Engine 4. The sandbox aspect remains at the forefront. Therefore, it is up to you how you navigate your way in the vast world. Whether you want to experience adventures and defeat monsters or become a crafter who creates the best weapons is equally possible.
However, in the game world, there should be fewer players than in other MMORPGs since the survival aspect also plays a role. So far, Dark and Light sounds very interesting. We will experience how it plays during the early access phase.

We will update this article as soon as the TOTW 25 has been announced by EA Sports.
What is the TOTW in FUT 17?
Every Wednesday, EA Sports reveals the Team of the Week in the “Ultimate Team” mode of their annual football simulation. Just as in FIFA 17. In this, the players who performed outstandingly in real football in the past week are rewarded with special cards that have improved attributes.
You can pull the TOTW cards from sets that may contain Rare (Gold) players within a week. However, the chance of that is considered low. Additionally, it is possible to buy them on the transfer market if they are offered by other players. However, the prices are often extremely high.
Other players pay to get a rare mount in WoW? Blizzard is now taking action against it.
Those who look around a little longer in the group finder tool of World of Warcraft often notice certain offers instead of actual group requests. It is about selling particularly difficult dungeons, such as Mythic+15 or a “mount run” in Karazhan, to other players. The exact price is not always specified there. The reason for this is that often real money must change hands, following the thought: If you want the Karazhan mount, put down 50€.
Blizzard obviously has a problem with this type of sales. They do not want a market for such services to develop and want to stifle it in the future.
Community Manager Ornyx stated in the official forum:
“Many of the affected players were in the top raid guilds. We want to make it clear that anyone we have sanctioned has clearly stated that they know they are violating our terms of use. To maintain fair play and competitive integrity in the future, these activities will be monitored more closely to ensure everyone follows the rules. This includes selling services for real money, account sharing, and other offenses.”
What exact penalties were imposed, Blizzard has not revealed.
Sell Runs – prohibited for cash, explicitly allowed for gold
Blizzard explicitly emphasizes that there is absolutely no problem with offering in-game services for in-game gold. Offering a mount run for 200,000 gold is not a problem.
Additionally, there will be new reporting functions in patch 7.2 to be able to directly report such behavior to Blizzard. The Game Masters will then take the necessary actions.
Cortyn says: I’m not really surprised that especially players from the professional guilds wanted to earn a few Euros through such sell runs. Those who want to stay on top probably don’t have time for a full job and have to use what the game offers. So why not use the best equipment in the game for some monetary gain? Well, obviously, because Blizzard doesn’t want that. The complaints from the pros probably won’t take long to materialize.
In Ghost Recon Wildlands, sniper rifles are the ultimate way to eliminate distant targets with precision. But without a good scope, any sniper rifle is just dead weight. Find out here the locations of the best scopes for sniper rifles.
Ghost Recon Wildlands is a tactical shooter, and those who play particularly tactically neutralize enemies from extreme distances with a heavy sniper rifle. However, without a decent scope on the sniper rifle, even a high-tech gun is little fun. Standard sniper rifles are not equipped with an optimal scope.
Scopes – Here you will find the locations of the scopes for sniper rifles
The Ghosts are indeed an absolute elite unit of the US Army, but for some inexplicable reason, you start with relatively modest equipment in your fight against the cartel. The good stuff is currently hoarded by the cruel Santa Blanca cartel and hidden all over fictional Bolivia.
The locations of the rifle scopes are well hidden, and anyone who doesn’t know where to look in the vast open world of Bolivia won’t find a good sniper scope quickly. But do not despair, here are the locations:

He shows the corresponding scope and then zooms in on the map, where you can see the location. Have fun searching for the best rifle scopes and taking out enemies!
At GDC 2017, Wargaming CEO Victor Kislyi spoke about past mistakes. Above all, the botched Rubicon update for World of Tanks. At the same time, he believes in the lasting success of World of Tanks, even though it is a significant challenge.
Wargaming’s boss Victor Kislyi spoke at GDC 2017 in San Francisco with colleagues from Polygon about past mistakes and plans for the future of the games World of Tanks and World of Warships. He also admitted to some unpleasant failures.

One of the worst failures in the history of World of Tanks was the Update 9.12 (formerly 10.0) “Rubicon” at the end of 2015. The update was supposed to bring new maps and a game mode called Rampage, which allowed limited respawns like its competitor War Thunder. Additionally, there were artillery strikes to call in and even gas attacks to eliminate the enemy crew.
The gas attack was then removed because “gassing” people in a game about tanks and World War II was probably too disrespectful and also poorly balanced. Then there was the terrorist attack in Paris in November 2015, and out of respect, one of the two new maps, the Paris map, was also removed from the patch.
Only the Rampage mode remained, in which you could win an extremely good T-22 tank. This tank was very strong and was supposed to serve as a reward for top players. However, some guilds cheated and arranged victories among themselves to quickly get the super tanks. The Rampage mode was later removed, and according to Kislyi, the players, especially the Russians, were still angry for years.
World of Tanks: Praise instead of Trolls
As a consequence of the Rubicon debacle, Kislyi radically restructured the team. Until then, the team had been strongly Belarus-focused, with a headquarters in Minsk and a rather poor understanding of the English language. Therefore, Kislyi brought new people into the team and made everything more international.
All of this took years, but now the Wargaming team is much better at responding to player requests and improving the game. According to Victor, this is evident as players are playing more than before. But also according to Victor’s own experience, improvements can be observed.
The big boss plays World of Tanks himself every day for an hour, and under his real name. This is well known, and he always receives numerous messages from players. In the past, these were mainly complaints, insults, and trolling. Today he mainly hears gratitude and praise.
More Freedom for Warships and Warplanes
Part of Kislyi’s changed company strategy is that he wants to have less direct influence on his developers. Especially with the ship offshoot World of Warships, the boss insisted too much that the new game should be like World of Tanks with ships. In hindsight, this was a mistake, as many players have turned their backs on World of Warships after its initial success.
The development teams now have more freedom and are supposed to decide for themselves how to evolve the games based on player feedback and community requests. Overall, Wargaming wants to focus on the flagship World of Tanks in 2017.
World of Tanks: “Winter is Coming and Will Not Pass!”
The plans for World of Tanks in 2017 include a complete graphics overhaul of the game. This is expected to be completed by August, keeping World of Tanks fit for the future. Kislyi said:
“We have recognized that World of Tanks can exist forever. But we must prepare for a long winter. Winter is coming and it will not go away. But this is a good problem. The approach should be to make a game that is built like the pyramids, for centuries or millennia.”
The PvP mode “Last Stand” is plagued by a severe glitch in The Division. Players are getting tons of points and therefore countless endgame rewards.
A new glitch has been circulating in the Division forums for several days now. Recently, YouTube has been flooded with tutorials and “How to” videos about this glitch. This problem can no longer be kept under wraps – anyone visiting the relevant pages and channels will inevitably come across it.
Many tutorials state that they do not want to spread the glitch for agents to replicate – but rather that Massive becomes aware of it and resolves it as soon as possible. This is in the interest of the game.
What does this glitch do?
We will not provide a guide for this glitch here – within seconds you can find it yourself on reddit or YouTube. You just need the right gear pieces and skills, and you can start the point rain in “Last Stand”. At the end of a match, you will receive rewards based on your point total – which turn out to be extremely high this way. Loot boxes with delicious contents are available after every round in the double-digit range.
However, the glitchers are not only gaining advantages for themselves – they are also impairing the gaming experience of other players. To execute the glitch, one only needs to “camp” at a location – teamwork does not occur. It is not enjoyable. Agents complain: Last Stand is currently unplayable!
What does Massive say about it?
Massive has gotten wind of this glitch. Last night, community manager Mattshotcha wrote in the Ubi forum that a fix will be deployed as soon as possible.
Perhaps the problem can already be resolved tomorrow, on March 9, during the regular maintenance work. By the way, it is not marked as an exploit in the Ubi forum that would incur penalties.
For finding bugs and other vulnerabilities of online services and websites, the GTA 5 publisher pays a lot of money to hackers.
This is how to use errors to your advantage: Rockstar offers a reward program where any user can earn money for showing them potentially dangerous security holes. This concerns several online services and websites belonging to Rockstar Games. Users receive a decent reward for verifiable bugs and security vulnerabilities if they help identify these issues.
Already paid over $90,000 to hackers
On the website HackerOne, Rockstar Games has a reward program in which users are rewarded for reporting potential security risks. These reports can be worthwhile as Rockstar pays at least $150 for every successful report. Depending on the severity and complexity of the security issue, the rewards can be even higher. So far, Rockstar has already spent $90,350 in this program and has given hackers an average of $500.
This advertisement is mainly about bugs and security vulnerabilities on certain domains. These include

socialclub.rockstargames.com

To report an issue to Rockstar and get paid for it, you must be the first person to report this bug. Moreover, the bug must not be made public before and after the submission.
The development studio Hello Games will release an update for the space online game No Man’s Sky later this week, introducing another vehicle into the game.
The work on the online game No Man’s Sky continues. Hello Games wants to continuously improve the game to make it the title it was supposed to be from the very beginning. Next up is an update that will bring a new vehicle into the game. The vehicle in the “Path Finder” update makes it easier for you to explore the home planet. It is still unknown what type of vehicle it will be.
Details about the update will follow
Path Finder builds on what has already been introduced with Foundation and is meant to show the direction No Man’s Sky will take in the future. No further details about the new update are known at this time. The patch notes will be released at a later date.
The development team states that they initially focused on releasing smaller patches to address issues reported by players after the release of the Foundation update. Only afterwards did they turn their attention to Path Finder. Silence does not mean that no one is listening.
The journey continues
Hello Games explains that they were positively surprised by the feedback on the Foundation update and want to let the fans know that they take this feedback very seriously. They are listening to the community and take notice of everything, the positive and the negative. The developers are already planning further steps to improve the online game No Man’s Sky.
Developers only care about money now. DLCs, addons, and in-game purchases. It wasn’t like that back then! – Or was it?
Hello everyone, happy Wednesday. Due to a lack of a greeting (which Schuhmann always finds silly), I’ll get straight to the point: The perception of DLCs, expansions, and their announcements within the gaming community.
Do you remember the glorious time when Blizzard announced “The Burning Crusade”? Or when Sacred got an expansion called “Underworld”? Or the joy we felt when we could finally date Liara T’soni again in the “Shadowbroker” DLC from Mass Effect 2?
Back then, announcements of expansions and major DLCs were something special. It was something new to look forward to. It was “more” of the known game world, “more” of what we liked. For that, people were happy to pay a few euros (or Deutsche Marks – if anyone still knows what those are).
The Shadowbroker DLC – one of the coolest DLCs ever.
But that has changed.
This topic became particularly noticeable to me with the announcement of the plans for new Hearthstone expansions. In 2017, Blizzard intends to release a total of 3 expansions – all of which contain around 130 cards each. They are distancing themselves from the “adventures” that existed before and instead want to include PvE missions for free in the expansions.
My first thought was “Cool, even more new cards per year, even more change, even more possibilities” – but many did not share my opinion.
Quickly, voices were raised that this was just “scamming”, Blizzard wants to boost the purchase of card packs, and they don’t care about anything else. The “greed” is clearly written on their faces. The fact that the PvE missions, the scope and design of which we cannot yet assess, will be “included” starting in summer is ignored by many players.
For me, a new expansion with many cards is great. Not because I will invest a lot of money – my account has managed without real money apart from the Explorer League expansion, but because I have a lot to unlock. For me, new cards in Hearthstone are what achievements are for other players. I can collect them, they are a reward in the arena or for playing and allow me to build new decks slowly. I don’t want to have all the cards on day 1 – I want goals to work towards.
However, I also do not want to be one-sided. There are some cases where DLCs have actually been nothing but “scams”. A prominent example is Mass Effect 3. This game offered the first story DLC “From Ashes” right at launch – the story included was even relatively important to the main story and provided valuable information.
At that time, the developers stated that the team responsible for the DLC had finished “earlier than planned”, which is why the release of the DLC coincided with the game’s release date. Shortly thereafter, however, it became public that almost the entire DLC was already present in the game files – a blatant lie then? This was never fully clarified, even though EA tried to appease the fans.
The “From Ashes” DLC for Mass Effect 3 is infamous. Even today, many believe that it was “cut from the game”.
There are a few cases like this, and yet I am not “angry” at the developers in the true sense. I firmly believe that additional game content nowadays has a higher level and requires much more work than it did a decade ago. A “free map pack” for Call of Duty or Battlefield simply cannot be compared, in my opinion, to a story DLC that brings fully voiced quests.
The effort for the people involved in such content is much greater, and the number of necessary developers is likely also drastically higher. Therefore, I find it only fair to pay for such DLCs and do not feel “scammed” or have the expectation that “this should be free”. Especially those who have played the DLCs from Mass Effect 2 and 3 (including “From Ashes”), know how great they were. Worth every cent.
One of my friends swears by the “Europa Universalis” series. And the game has so many expansions that I must raise my eyebrows in confusion. Nevertheless, he is enthusiastic about each individual expansion and can talk for hours about how great the new features are – a rare enthusiasm that I cannot share when I see that the whole work must have cost more than 200 €. But he loves it – so that’s okay.
I also find it confusing when comments repeatedly say “Yes, back in the day, Blizzard/EA/BioWare/Paradox/XYZ listened to the players and was friendly, now it’s just about money.”
I’ll stick my neck out and say: No, that’s nonsense.
Developers have always had to plan for money and profit as a factor, not just in recent years when games have become a mass phenomenon. If that hadn’t been the case, EA, Blizzard, and “the others” would not be in the good position they are in today. They have worked economically. Back then, developers did not live off air, love, and the endless resources of publishers either. Back then, games were simply finished after release. “Finished” in the sense that “more than a bug fix patch wouldn’t come out anymore.” And that has simply changed and also fits into the “Games as a service” thought.
The fact that games are becoming more complex and often come to market somewhat “unfinished” is another topic that should not be discussed here (and certainly not the all-too-similar early access survival games).
What is your opinion on DLCs, addons, and revenue sources of developers overall? Has everything become so much worse and are all companies only money-hungry now, even though they once had the well-being of players in mind? Or is it actually just the same as always – only the perception has changed?
The skills in Ghost Recon Wildlands offer you many ways to improve your Ghosts. You should unlock these 5 skills early on.
In Ubisoft’s new tactical shooter Ghost Recon Wildlands, you have skill trees where you can learn and improve your characters’ abilities. To spend points in these trees, you need to collect resources and level up as necessary. In each section, you can choose specific skills that match your play style. For example, you can improve the drone or increase stability when shooting. We show you 5 skills that simplify your missions in Bolivia.
Launcher
The launcher is a modification for many different weapons, allowing you to create a lot of bang (if you hit). It is excellent for destroying enemy helicopters that attack you from the air during your missions.
This weapon modification is also effective in combat against Unidad troops or other opponents that attack you on foot. When you are behind a wall or in a building, it often happens that the enemies run around the corner grouped together. This creates a favorable scenario for the launcher, which shows its full potential against enemy groups.
You can find the launcher in the category “Weapon“. The first point in this skill unlocks the launcher, and additional points increase the number of grenades.
Bullet Resistance
As the name suggests, with this skill you gain higher bullet resistance. This means you effectively have more health points.
This skill is particularly beneficial when playing on the highest difficulty in Ghost Recon Wildlands. Since enemies are no longer shown on the minimap before the attack, surprise moments arise when you are quickly shot at by enemies. If you can withstand more shots before going down thanks to this skill, it can help any player.
The bullet resistance skill can be found in the category “Body“. Each point in this skill increases your resistance by 5%. You can max out at 20% Bullet Resistance.
Spread When Free Shooting
This skill is primarily aimed at players who like to stand in the front lines or storm houses. Often, enemies wait behind doors or corners, attacking unexpectedly. If you have less spread when free shooting, you have higher precision without needing to aim with the right click – saving you crucial time.
Therefore, this skill is not as suitable for snipers, as they shoot from the back lines and will hardly use free shooting.
Spread when free shooting can be found in the category “Weapon“. Each point reduces the spread by 10%, maxing out at 40%.
Battery
The drone is an important tool for scouting enemy areas. Spending some skill points here to improve the drone is essential for any squad. Without the improved battery, the drone quickly runs out of juice, interrupting your reconnaissance flight.
If you upgrade this skill four times, you practically remove the time limit on the drone, giving you much more time for exploring foreign areas. This allows for much more relaxed planning of attacks.
You will find the battery skill in the category “Drone“. Any player looking to improve their drone is advised to spend a point in this skill.
Stamina
An important aspect in Ghost Recon Wildlands is running. When you hold Shift while moving, your character runs faster. But eventually, even a Ghost runs out of breath. Then he slows down and cannot sprint for a while.
You can increase your stamina by improving this skill with skill points. This allows you to run longer distances without needing to catch your breath.
You can find the stamina skill in the category “Body“. Each point increases stamina by 20% up to a maximum of 80%.
Bonus – Parachute
As correctly mentioned in our comments, the parachute skill should also be included here. In Ghost Recon Wildlands, you often have the opportunity to jump from helicopters or planes and can then quietly enjoy the landscape with your parachute while gliding towards the target area. This is not only fun but also saves lives when you’re with inexperienced pilots.
You will find the parachute skill in the category “Object“. One point unlocks the parachute.
Which skills did you take first, and can you recommend them?
MMO shooters are very popular. Destiny and The Division attract many players and impress with fast gameplay, but also offer depth like an MMO. We present to you the most important MMO shooters for the year 2017.
MMO shooters represent an interesting mix of online shooters and MMORPG elements. Typically, it is possible to upgrade your character like in a role-playing game, obtain increasingly powerful equipment, and often complete quests that guide the player and their friends through the story.
In many cases, however, you are not adventuring with thousands of other players at the same time, but usually only with a few, though you can meet others in hubs and social spaces. We take a look at which MMO shooters await us this year.
Destiny 2
This year, the developer studio Bungie and publisher Activision want to release a sequel to the popular MMO shooter Destiny. There is not much known about the game yet, except that you will have the opportunity to take over your Guardian, but everything except its appearance will be reset. You will therefore start again from scratch and learn new powers, find new weapons, and explore never-before-seen locations.
There are now some hints that Destiny 2 will also be released for PC. This would make sense in terms of the character reset, as then all players would start with the same conditions. In addition, a constant flow of new content is supposed to be possible in Destiny 2.
So far, not much is known about the story in Destiny 2. Allegedly, the story is supposed to connect to the end of the Destiny 1 expansion “The Taken King” and send you into battle against the Cabal forces, who are attacking the Last City.

In recent hours, reports of unwanted activities on Pokémon GO accounts have increased following the latest update. What is behind this?
Cheating and using unauthorized software violates the terms of service of Pokémon GO. Many trainers in the game have been receiving this information through a pop-up since yesterday. Why is this message appearing for you and what can you do to protect your account?
Cheater or Innocent?
In social networks, reports of supposedly innocent players are increasing, who find the following message in their game: “We have detected activity on your account that suggests you or someone else accessing your account is using modified client software or unauthorized third-party software that accesses Pokémon GO in a manner that violates our terms of service. Please be aware that using such software can lead to the loss of your account. If you have used such software, we recommend that you stop using it.”
Players then have to confirm this message with the button “All right!”
How should you respond to the new cheater warning in Pokémon GO?
If you receive this message but are sure that you are not using cheats, then you should definitely change your password in the Pokémon Trainer Club or your Google account. You should also ensure that no unauthorized app has access to your Google account.
It is possible that you have given unauthorized software access to your account. Some third-party apps like IV calculators or certain Pokémon maps require access to your account, which can lead to the current warning.
Perhaps you also tried an IV calculator or other services in the early days that you no longer use. If you entered your login data there or authorized those apps, they might still be exploiting your accounts for unwanted activities.
So play it safe and check your Google account and change your password to reduce the risk of a ban.
The hero shooter Paladins is often accused of being an Overwatch clone. Developer Hi-Rez handles this accusation with mixed feelings.
An article has appeared on the US site Gamespot analyzing how the Paladins developers Hi-Rez deal with the accusation that their Paladins is just an Overwatch clone.
A video by YouTuber “videogamedonkey” has over 3.4 million views and highlights the clear parallels between Overwatch and Paladins. The video has circulated widely, leading to many “attacks” online.

In September, Paladins addressed these accusations on Reddit. They stated, “Much of what we completed was done long before Overwatch. Yes, there are parallels, but these arise from the fact that Overwatch and Paladins share the same influences and predecessors, not because one game copied the other.”
However, many more people know the video by Donkey rather than the Hi-Rez site.
Hi-Rez knew what was coming when they saw the first announcement of Overwatch
How do such accusations affect the developers?
They handle it quite pragmatically. The accusations did not surprise Hi-Rez. They knew what was coming when they saw the first announcement for Overwatch. It was clear how similar Blizzard’s new game would be to what they were themselves bringing to Steam.
In the Closed Alpha, they spent a lot of time thinking: Should we differentiate ourselves more from Overwatch? Do we need to change our plans? However, they decided to go ahead and make the game they wanted to create, which promised the most fun.
A stroke of luck for the marketing team
At Hi-Rez, they see the accusations as a mixed bag. It hurts to be attacked after putting so many hours and heart into your own project. However, on the other hand: People are talking about Paladins because of it. The comparisons with Overwatch have been a blessing for the marketing team. Donkey’s video generated a lot of “buzz” and showed that fans are passionately discussing Paladins.
That’s much better than not getting any reaction at all.
Tonight Massive will hold a special report, which is likely to discuss the future of The Division, concerning Year 2. However, some information has already surfaced several hours in advance.
As GameRant reports, they spoke with the Creative Director Julian Gerighty about the “Year 2” plans. Accordingly, all players will receive two free expansions throughout the second year of The Division. The first DLC is expected in the summer.
According to Gerighty, Massive will discuss extensively tonight in the special report what is planned for the second year of The Division. This will include details about the two expansions.
What is in these DLCs for Year 2?
Gerighty didn’t want to go into detail during the conversation with GameRant, but he gave a teaser about what agents can expect from the summer expansion of 2017.
This expansion will continue the philosophy of Update 1.4 – a philosophy of generosity, where players are rewarded for investing time in the game. You will experience your own, unique stories.
The expansion is set to deliver new events and PvE content that you can tackle both alone and with friends. New challenges and new ways to play The Division are expected to be introduced.
An event structure is set to be introduced that will reward players for participation, completion, and competition within a playlist. The activities in this playlist will have a modifier to ensure variety. Players will see this content in a completely different light and play in completely different ways, according to Gerighty. He emphasizes that the focus will be on PvE content. However, further activities (i.e., PvP) may also come later.
It seems that Massive aims to increase the “replayability” of the PvE content in Year 2. With playlists, modifiers, and many rewards.
By the way, Gerighty did not want to talk about new areas or a continuation of the story. More information will follow in the stream and in the coming weeks and months, according to the Creative Director.
In For Honor, the player base on Steam is disappearing. After three weeks, only a quarter remains.
Ubisoft’s online melee combat game For Honor launched with a bang in mid-February: Even the open beta just days before release achieved record numbers for Ubisoft, and the game had strong player numbers at launch as well. With a player base of nearly 46,000, For Honor was among the top ten most played games on Steam.
However, the current numbers in the Steam charts show that a large portion of the many launch players did not return. Already after two weeks, the number dropped to around 20,000 players, and a week later, it was only about 15,000. Currently, there are only about 11,000 players left, and the trend is still declining.
A look at Google Trends also shows that interest in For Honor has clearly decreased after the launch hype.
What causes this player decline?
The mentioned numbers refer exclusively to Steam, but one can assume that the same trend is also evident on consoles and the Uplay version.
Possible reasons are quickly found: Players have complained about server issues and disconnections since the beginning. The matches occur through the criticized Peer-to-Peer connection; there are no dedicated servers.
Moreover, the combat system in For Honor is more complex than some might have expected. Since E3 2016, interest has increased significantly, and players set high expectations for the game. However, this unique “Art of Battle” may not appeal to everyone’s taste. The long-term motivation has already been discussed in advance.
Note: It is not uncommon for the player counts of online games to plummet shortly after launch. Many curious players take a look right at the start, but only a fraction of them stays long-term. A similar fate befell The Division: This MMO shooter lost 57% of its player base just three weeks after launch.
