In a new video, the voice actors celebrate the anniversary of Overwatch with a dance party and their new emotes, which they can almost perfectly mimic.

Zhin’s skills are brutal: Abilities throw burning oil at opponents and shred them
Anyone who has ever burned themselves with hot oil knows what a nasty weapon Zhin wields. The burn runs deep, lasts for weeks, and often leaves ugly scars. The Tyrant is a swordsman who douses his weapon in oil. The oil sets Zhin on fire and he hurls it at his opponents: That must hurt like hell.
Anyone who dares to get close to Zhin can be hit hard by his counter-attack. This protects Zhin and deals damage to opponents if they hit the warrior from the front. If the situation becomes too heated for Zhin, he dissolves into smoke and can flee or attack from the shadows.
To reload, Jhin pours hot oil onto his sword – This warrior wants to inflict deep pain.
Zhin’s ultimate ability – Wrath – makes even tanks melt like butter
Zhin also uses his sword as a melee weapon and shreds opponents into pieces. He either spins like a wild tornado through his enemies, slicing everything in his path, or he prepares for his ultimate skill: Wrath. Zhin lunges forward and unleashes an attack combination on opponents that inflicts 2000 damage over 1.5s.
This could lead to a decisive counter to the current 2-tank meta. Those hit by Zhin’s combo strike cannot break through it and will be chopped up in no time. Especially if you take Zhin’s legendary card “Guillotine” along, which enhances his ultimate skill.

Zhin is the first evil character that Paladins will see
The developers have revealed that Zhin is the first truly evil character to enter the battlefield. Seris and Androxus may have a dark aura but are often misunderstood in their pursuits.
However, Zhin is filled with malice and was once the leader of a dark army. This refers to the mysterious “Organization of One Thousand Hands” – The developers have not revealed more about the organization.

Zhin is a skill-based champion who can become a nightmare in skilled hands. However, one must pay attention to various aspects of his abilities. The automatic attack follows a rhythm of 1-2-3, 1-2-3, 1-2-3, etc. The third attack is the strongest; skilled players know how to utilize this. The counter-attack only works when opponents attack from the front – Good positioning is important here.
The ultimate attack – Wrath – is extremely powerful, but one must also be able to hit with it. Mastering this skill will likely make one a terror for tanks.
Zhin is definitely not a beginner champion and requires experience and practice to unleash his full potential.

South Korea is serious about hackers. A new law criminalizes the development and distribution of hacks for video games. Private servers are also targeted by the new regulation. This topic is currently relevant here, especially regarding WoW and Overwatch.
The US site Kotaku reports on a South Korean law against video game hacks. This was passed in December and comes into effect on June 21, 2017, in less than two weeks.
The law targets “game hacks,” their development and distribution. Additionally, it will also be illegal to create and operate so-called private servers. Currently, it is still unclear whether the law will also target mods.

Anyone found guilty can expect a fine equivalent to about 4500 euros or up to 5 years in prison.

Leya says: I am excited about an epic skin for Seris and voted for the oracle. Until now, she didn’t have a cool skin, and I never liked her recolors. I would have been happy about a skin for Torvald as well, because the Laser Grandpa has been empty for a good 10 patches.
I will take some time with the decision between the four presented skin designs. Somehow they all have something, and I can’t decide yet. My tendency, however, leans toward the VooDoo skin.

In June, Season 10 of Diablo 3 will come to an end and all seasonal characters will be converted to non-seasonal characters. Gold, armor, and other items will carry over to non-season.
About a month after the end of Season 10, Season 11 will start.
On the official Diablo 3 website, Blizzard has now announced when the new season will start.
In Europe, the start is on Thursday, July 20, at 5:00 PM
Blizzard has deliberately chosen a Thursday so that there is still enough time left before the weekend. During this time, the developers can fix any possible issues that might arise at the start of Season 11 .
End of Season 10 in Diablo 3
You have less than two weeks left to play Season 10 of Diablo III.
In Europe, Season 10 ends on Friday, June 23, at 5:00 PM

Necromancer in Season 11?

Apparently, footage from the YouTuber “DukeNukem” has already been uploaded online. It contains gameplay material from Star Wars Battlefront 2, which is supposed to be shown tonight.

Regarding Destiny 2 , Bungie talks about an Alpha, about Freedom-Slots, and about a Day-One-Patch.
Last night, on June 9th, Bungie released a podcast. In it, the developers, including Game Director Luke Smith and Senior Gameplay Designer Jon Weisnewski, casually chatted about their first VR experiences, horror movies, and also a little about the upcoming MMO shooter Destiny 2.
Destiny 2 has an Alpha – but the community must stay out
Many Guardians have been wondering for months whether Destiny 2 will have an Alpha. After all, there was a so-called “First-Look-Alpha” for Destiny 1 on June 12, 2014, which allowed interested players to get a first impression of Destiny. Before the release, hardly anyone had a concrete idea of what Destiny would actually be.
This is no longer necessary for Destiny 2. Both gaming press and players know what foundation the MMO shooter is built on and what they can expect from Destiny 2. Therefore, there will not be a public Alpha.
An Alpha phase is already taking place. However, this one is “internal” and “private”; presumably, only Bungie employees and family members are allowed to take a look at this Alpha build. The goal of the Alpha is to ensure that the subsequent Beta can run as smoothly as possible.
When does the Beta start?
The specific start date of the Beta will be announced at the E3 2017 . Most likely during the Sony conference, which takes place on Tuesday at 3 AM.
Some developers are reportedly working full-time to put together the Alpha and Beta builds. These versions of Destiny 2 only offer a “microcosm”, just a glimpse of the shooter. And these builds still need to be created. There is a lot of work involved.
Day-One-Patch for Destiny 2
Additionally, the developers announce a Day-One-Patch. At Bungie, they are continuously working on Destiny 2 and are trying to deliver the best possible player experience right at launch.
However, it takes a long time until all the discs are burned and shipped around the world. In these weeks, the Bungie mill does not stand still – instead, they are processing user reports from the Beta.
Therefore, you can expect a patch right at launch that will implement all adjustments that could not be included on the discs.
There is the Kinetic Slot, which includes the weapon types Auto Rifle, Pulse Rifle, Scout Rifle, Hand Cannon, Pistol, and SMG.
The Energy Slot includes the same six weapon types as the Kinetic Slot, but these weapons deal elemental damage (Arc, Solar, Void).
The Power Slot includes all weapons that can kill with a single shot in PvP, such as rocket launchers, shotguns, or snipers.
The Kinetic Slot and the Energy Slot are internally referred to at Bungie as “Freedom-Slots”, as their primary goal is to grant Guardians maximum freedom in weapon choice.
You could, for instance, run around with two hand cannons or with an auto rifle and a scout rifle – you can now combine the six weapon types as you like.
Luke Smith was initially skeptical about this and wondered: Who would want to do something like that – run around with two pistols? But then he tested it, and it was incredibly fun. It is extremely cool to have the freedom to combine weapons however you want.
Energy weapons provide advantages in both PvE and PvP. In PvE, they deal more damage to enemy shields, while in PvP, they can take down a foe out of their super faster. You have the choice of which weapon you make your energy weapon.
Additional info from the podcast: Luke Smith mentioned a SUROS shotgun that fires not shot but a precision round per shot. Reminds one of “The Chaperone”.
News about The Division. There is an interview with the Managing Director of Massive. He admits that they underestimated The Division but learned a lot.
Gamesindustry talked to David Polfeldt. He is the “Managing Director” of Massive Entertainment, the Swedish developer behind the MMO shooter “The Division (PC, PS4, XBox One).”
Polfeldt discusses the challenges of managing a “live game” like The Division. It’s like developing a game while people are watching. That can be tough, and such a game has extremely high demands. Polfeldt has great respect for any studio that handles this pressure.
Learned a lot from The Division
Massive has learned a lot from The Division. There are some design decisions they should have made earlier.
Polfeldt says: “I think we underestimated the size and success of The Division. It put us in a position where we had to catch up to the game. For future projects, we will pay much better attention to that.”
Multiple projects in development – Avatar Project
In the interview, it becomes clear: Massive is still developing The Division, but is also working on other games, such as a title based on the upcoming film series Avatar. Polfeldt believes it’s an advantage for the studio to have multiple titles in development. Then they can place team members in the ideal position.
If there is only one game, everyone has to work on that – this way, everyone in the studio can find a position that fits them perfectly.
Currently, 400 people work at Massive, but the company is still hiring: the studio in Malmö is looking for 100 or 200 additional employees. The biggest challenge right now is the transition from a studio that develops a project to a studio that manages a live game and does other things.

Niantic announced the first Pokémon GO event in the real world. Players suspect legendary Pokémon will be there, but we don’t believe that “so”.
Pokémon GO will soon be one year old. The developers want to celebrate this anniversary together with the trainers and have come up with some cool actions. The first is an in-game event where players can find more fire and ice Pokémon.
There is also supposed to be the first Pokémon GO event in the real world. It will take place in Chicago on July 22 and will feature many highlights. Some players believe that legendary Pokémon can only be caught there. However, we disagree.

Niantic did not provide specific information regarding the event in Chicago. This is why the community is so uncertain about what will take place on July 22 in Grant Park, Chicago.
Officially, it is stated that “Hordes of trainers from all over the world are expected at the grand Pokémon GO celebration in Grand Park, Chicago. At the entertainment-filled Pokémon GO day in the park, trainers can interact with like-minded people and participate in numerous activities.”

Due to the announcement with Grant Park in Chicago, trainers now believe that the battle with legendary Pokémon shown in the trailer will become real. Niantic has already confirmed that the legendary Pokémon will arrive this summer and the event in July would fit in timing.
However, legendary Pokémon were not mentioned at all in the anniversary announcement. Nevertheless, some players on Reddit are already considering taking vacation on that day and traveling to Chicago. So they can participate in an event for which there is still no detailed information. No one knows what will actually happen there.
But we cannot imagine that Niantic will only spawn legendary Pokémon in that one location in Chicago.
After all the problems and the lack of communication at the start of the game (We remember the tracker issue and the developers’ silence), an event with a strictly limited number of attendees would be the last thing the developers should do to the community. And Niantic probably knows that too.
Mewtwo for an entry fee? A self-goal
Another point against the legendary Pokémon being exclusive to Chicago is the entry fee. Niantic doesn’t want to alienate the community. Slowly they are meeting the community’s demands by revising the gym, adding coop features, or increasing the number of PokéStops in rural areas. This is helping to restore some players’ trust.
So is the next step to create an event with legendary Pokémon that requires trainers to pay?
The fact is that players need to get a ticket for the “Chicago Fest”. So legendary Pokémon would be quasi premium content that will initially be available only to paying visitors of the Chicago Fest. We simply don’t believe Niantic would take such a step against the community.
Legendary Pokémon maybe “also” in Chicago
There is a chance that the event in Chicago is directly related to legendary Pokémon. Perhaps the developers want to announce this important step in front of a large audience and see and film the joy and surprised faces of the fans. Because the release of legendary Pokémon is an important milestone in Pokémon GO.

Warframe – Graphics Update – Our Earth is to become more beautiful
This is what Earth looks like so far.
The big graphics update is part of the next Warframe patch, which is expected to arrive in mid to late June. It will include a ton of new items, a new Warframe named Harrow, and an extensive remaster of the maps on Earth. The once blue planet will be more of the green planet in the distant future, as overgrown primeval forests have taken over a large part of the world.
In between, the degenerated fascist mutant clones of the Grineer dwell in crumbling ruins of a better time. Earth has always been one of the highlights of Warframe, ever since it was introduced as a walkable world in 2014.
With the upcoming graphics update, Earth will be thoroughly remastered. Thanks to new shaders, lighting effects, and a new way of rendering foliage, the maps of Earth will look as if they come from a completely different game. Warframe – Graphics Update – First Earth, then the whole Solar System
This is what Earth will look like after the graphics update.
In an interview with PCGamer, Matt Tremblay, the Art Director of Digital Extremes, explained that the new graphics will not jeopardize the performance of the game whatsoever. It should still run smoothly. However, the lack of technology in consoles is a limit for all future extreme updates, as the game also needs to run on PS4 and Xbox One.
After the remaster of Earth, further locations in the game are expected to be enhanced in future updates. Earth was chosen as the first beautified location simply because it is one of the first planets players visit.

Tracer can now express her love in Overwatch – but a visit to her girlfriend probably isn’t enough.
When it comes to the lore of Overwatch, it’s a pretty complicated matter. Most actions in the game make little sense lore-wise, which is why the individual matches don’t belong to the canon. But outside the game, there is a wealth of information about characters, their backgrounds, enemies, and also their romances. For instance, there was the comic “Reflections,” which showcased the heroes from Overwatch during the Christmas season, spending time with their loved ones.
The focus here was on Tracer, who was explicitly portrayed by Blizzard as homosexual and is in a relationship with a certain Emily. So far, this has only been mentioned in the comic and had no reference in the game, which made some fans sad.
However, with the upcoming update, that will be a thing of the past, as Tracer will receive a new voiceline on the Horizon map where she will first speak about Emily.
“I wonder if I will have time to visit Emily? No, I need to stay focused.”

In the MMO shooter Destiny, the Trials of Osiris start today, on June 9th. On which map do they take place?

What are the Trials of Osiris?
In the Trials, you engage in PvP battles in the “Elimination” mode. You compete against each other in three-person teams and try to fill your scorecard with victories. If the opposing team is completely defeated, you win a round. Fallen team members can be revived. Here, not only a strong setup but also communication among the Guardians is essential. Having a good knowledge of the map is advantageous.
With 5 and 7 victories, there are random rewards from Osiris’s arsenal. Also, you should keep an eye on Brother Vance’s bounties for extra bonuses. If you are in top form, you can reach Mercury with a “flawless” ticket and loot the chest with valuable items there.
This weekend you can level up faster in Paladins. The experience points are doubled and give you an XP boost. Additionally, today the concepts for the community skin will be presented.

The Closed Beta for Secret World Legends, the remake of The Secret World, is currently only playable by invitation from Funcom. However, now everyone can join, provided they have an active Secret World account “in good standing”: Those who meet the requirements will receive beta access or a beta key for Secret World Legends.

According to a tweet from Funcom, all players who meet the following requirements are allowed to join the closed beta of Secret World Legends starting today:

Beta Access – Why so complicated?
So anyone who wants to participate may need to download the old game and log in briefly. After that, an invitation to the beta should arrive, and you will then have to download the entire game again. Secret World Legends requires its own client.
This solution is not exactly straightforward, and many players are annoyed by this complicated approach when they could have just declared an open beta. Moreover, the beta is temporary because all beta characters will be deleted when the game launches on June 26. Additionally, the NDA for the beta is still active.
However, those who have already submitted an application for the beta or are already involved will receive early access from June 23 before the launch of Secret World Legends on the 26th. This also applies if the beta application has not yet been answered.

Does Blizzard want to expand Overwatch or is a new shooter being planned here? People are being sought to animate creatures and characters.
The job listings page of Blizzard was recently expanded with more positions. It sounds like Blizzard is assembling a team to develop a new shooter. Whether this new title might take place in the Starcraft or Diablo universe is still unclear.
A Senior Technical Animation Artist is now being sought.
New Blizzard Shooter?
Three job listings from the Blizzard website have been noticed in the Neogaf forum that should be taken a closer look at. All belong to the “Unannounced Project” category and offer a job at Blizzard’s headquarters in Irvine. These three jobs apparently do not refer to the mobile game for which Blizzard is also looking for new people.
A Lead Software Engineer is being sought for a first-person engine (for an unannounced project). The candidate has additional opportunities if they are already familiar with first-person or other action games.
Additionally, Blizzard is looking for a Lead Software Engineer to work on an unannounced project that utilizes a first-person engine. It is also advantageous in this job if one has experience working on first-person or other action games.
The third interesting job listing is for a Senior Technical Animation Artist. And for this position, it is also beneficial if the candidate has experience with games that utilize the first-person perspective. In this job, tools are to be created to animate many characters and creatures.
The remark that people are being sought for “many different characters and creatures” sparks discussions among fans. This could mean that the shooter does not take place in the world of “Overwatch” (it would be strange with creatures), but rather in a fantasy setting.
We are curious when we will learn more about this unannounced project.
Niantic plans to reset the gyms of Pokémon GO. The monsters will be sent back to their trainers.
The developers are not satisfied with the current gym feature of Pokémon GO and therefore plan an overhaul. To be adequately prepared for this overhaul, all gyms in Pokémon GO will be deactivated for a short time.
Niantic has now announced further information about how this gym reset will look.

After Niantic announced the reset yesterday, some players were unsure what would happen to their monsters: Will they stay in the gym or will the monsters be sent away and the hunt for empty gyms begins anew?

Furthermore, NianticIndigo stated on Reddit that there will be a clear warning before the update, which will draw attention to the deactivation of the gyms. This way, trainers will not be surprised by a sudden reset but will have enough time to collect their coins.

All of this became too much for Team Selfless.
