In Destiny 2 we show you 10 weapons that you might have overlooked in the gameplay stream. Many of them are likely exotic.
About a week ago, on May 18th, the gameplay premiere for Destiny 2 took place. For the first time, there was in-game footage: including the first story mission, the new focuses, the new worlds – and plenty of new weapons from Destiny 2!
In the meantime, the Guardians had enough time to analyze every single frame of the shown gameplay. Exciting weapons came to light that some of you probably missed. We present some of them.
Note: During the gameplay event, three exotic weapons could be played: Sunshot, Sweet Business, and Riskrunner. These are presented in the provided link. They are not in this list.
An exotic handgun with rats
Let’s start with an exotic handgun (or possibly a pistol) that was seen during the stream when the developers talked about Exotics. So you can be sure: This thing is exotic!
At the gameplay event, this weapon was also exhibited in a showcase, which is why there are pictures where the design of the weapon can be seen more clearly:
Obviously, rats are digging a tunnel through the barrel. Definitely a cool design!
A very thick sniper
In extremely short gameplay scenes, this sniper was on screen. Here, a Cabal enemy is being aimed at, and what is interesting is: once this enemy is targeted, he gets “highlighted”, receiving a red outline.
In the following reload animation, the exterior of the sniper is visible for fractions of a second. It has strange, glowing lines or coils spread throughout the weapon.
The performance of Reinhardt no longer meets what players expect from their Overwatch tank. Was there an accidental nerf?
It is possible that the Overwatch character “Reinhardt” has been hit by a secret nerf. Players have noticed since the start of the anniversary event that the popular tank has received changes to his hammer that were not mentioned in the patch notes. Fans say it now takes twice as long for a hit with the hammer to be “registered” in the game.
Initially, the user Kekstarter wrote in the Overwatch forums that he noticed something odd about the swing speed of Reinhardt’s hammer. It seems that the hammer now distributes damage more at the end of the swing – previously, the damage would have been dealt in the middle of the swing. Due to this change, it is no longer possible to deal quick damage through animation canceling.
Due to the reports, many Reinhardt mains tested the character and his abilities. Players feel that all of his abilities are now slower. A possible reason for the issues currently being discussed are the netcode changes. These changes were introduced with the anniversary patch and affect how the game recognizes activated abilities.
The user Palnatoke writes in the Overwatch forums that while looking for answers, he visited several Discord servers. He found out that the Overwatch servers now apparently send a “confirmation” to players who have activated an ability. Only then is the ability actually activated. There is a short delay when you use an ability.
This is particularly noticeable for players with poor internet connection and high ping. This is because it takes longer for the server’s confirmation to go through. Accordingly, the ability is activated more slowly than for players with better internet connection and lower ping. The changes regarding ping (indicated in ms) are clearly shown in the following video:

Reinhardt mains are not happy with these changes because they could jeopardize his place in the meta. Due to the slower abilities, Reinhardt has a lower DPS value and takes a bit longer to respond to situations in the game.
After four days of complaints on this topic, there was now a response from lead software engineer Bill Warneck in the forum. He says that Blizzard didn’t actually intend to change Reinhardt’s hammer and that the support team will take a closer look at the issue.
If there really have been accidental changes to Reinhardt’s abilities, we can probably expect a hotfix soon that addresses these issues.
In Paladins Patch OB 51, the new champion Ash joins the MOBA shooter. Ash is a tank lady who smashes everything in her way. The Colossal Chest is being removed from the game, and new chests are coming. We have the patch highlights for you.
Paladins continues its goal and brings new champions to the MOBA shooter at a fast pace. With the new Patch OB 51, we are welcoming another lady to the front alongside Inara. Ash is the new tank and bears the title “War Machine”.
More and more special skins are making their way to Paladins: This time, Pip and Barrik are getting a new look. For the first time, there will be a skin for your horse that you can purchase directly. Previously, this was only possible through special chests or events. In OB 51, the Colossal Chest is being removed and replaced by two new chests: the Weapon Chest and the Champion Skin Chest.
There are also a few adjustments to the interface and some champions have also been reworked.
Ash is the new tank in Paladins. She is a proud knight who takes what she wants.
Paladins OB51: New Champion Ash Enters the Arena – Throws All Enemies Out
Ash is Paladins’ new tank and she is called the War Machine. She is a knight who smashes everything in her way with her flak cannon. With the flak cannon, Ash fires spiky spheres that explode at mid-range and deal area damage. She can trigger a kinetic explosion with the spheres that knocks enemies back.
Ash is ready to show full body commitment. If necessary, the knight charges forward at her enemies and rams them back with her shoulder. Upon impact, Ash deals heavy direct damage. When Ash plants her flag in the ground, she uses her ultimate skill “Show Dominance”. Around the flag, Ash creates a zone in which she cannot take damage. Enemies take damage when the flag strikes the ground.

There are new cosmetic items for Pip and Barrik that you can unlock in the shop. There is also a new skin for your horse.
Pandamonium Pip
Pip is changing his fur and gets a cute curly tail. The skin is available for direct purchase for 200 crystals in the shop. The skin includes head and body.
Stonecut-Barrik
Barrik turns completely to stone and gets an icy gaze. The skin is available for direct purchase in the shop for 250 crystals. The skin includes head, body, and weapon.
Scarlet Warhorse
For the first time, there is a skin for the mount that you can obtain as a direct purchase in the shop. The horse gets a scarlet armor and costs 400 crystals.
Rewards for Champion Mastery Levels
Players will now receive rewards for reaching mastery levels. You receive the rewards upon reaching a certain level, and they consist of skins, sprays, gold, chests, and emotes. In Paladins, players can earn mastery levels for champions if they perform well with the character.
From Patch OB 51 onwards, rewards are available for the following champions:
Drogoz
Lex
Maeve
Makoa
Tyra
Viktor
Rewards for the remaining champions will be added gradually.
The Colossal Chest previously gave players particularly valuable cosmetic items. In Paladins, you can wildly combine skin parts and give your character a unique look. From the Colossal Chest, you could draw individual skin parts. Therefore, it could take ages for players to receive a complete skin set. This will change in OB 51.
The Colossal Chest is being removed from the game. In its place, the Champion Skin Chests and Weapon Chest are coming. In the Champion Skin Chest, you now receive complete skin sets. The Weapon Chest exclusively contains weapon skins.
Left: Champion Skin Chest – Right: Weapon Chest
Further Adjustments in OB51
Some champions received adjustments, nerfs, and buffs. For example, the last champion, the fairy Willo, received a buff and is now somewhat tougher.
A few bugs were fixed, including an annoying audio bug.
The interface has been optimized, and “Auto-Buy” can now be turned off directly in the item shop during a match.
Patch OB 51 will initially come to PC. When exactly it will arrive on PS4 and Xbox One is not yet known. The full patch notes can be found in our sources.
We played the Morrowind expansion of The Elder Scrolls Online (TESO) In the test for ESO Morrowind, we find: The expansion wants to be played in a very specific way. MMORPG fans might find this difficult.
Morrowind, the new expansion for The Elder Scrolls Online, cannot be compared to expansions of MMORPGs that one usually knows. Because it lacks new features.
Heavensward brought flying to Final Fantasy XIV
Legion added artifact weapons to World of Warcraft
“Heart of Thorns” introduced elite specialization in Guild Wars 2
Morrowind does not bring such a feature to ESO. Nothing that has direct effects on gameplay
Such features in expansions are important because they modernize MMORPGs. They develop the MMORPGs, adapting them to the changing times.
Something comparable is not brought by Morrowind and that is a problem. The Elder Scrolls Online has hardly developed gameplay-wise in the last three years.
Morrowind does not change the game principle
Morrowind brings a new class, the Warden, and structured PvP to The Elder Scrolls Online. But otherwise, the expansion feels like a story DLC. And this is where the focus of The Elder Scrolls Online lies now: ESO has increasingly become a solo RPG in the main part – where the MMO parts can be played supplementarily, detached in an endgame.
The normal gameplay experience does not change with Morrowind. That is not the ambition that the expansion has. The focus is clearly on the new area and the story in Vvardenfell.
I have no nostalgia bonus for Morrowind
Morrowind is a fan service that aims to bring the RPG world of TES III, Vvardenfell, from 2002 back to life for a new generation. Morrowind will probably succeed at that.
The evaluation of Morrowind depends on how much players wanted to return to this world. I know that some ESO fans and also game testers are very eager for such a “Morrowind” remake to travel back 15 years into the past.

I never really played the first Morrowind. Therefore, I would have wished for something different for the expansion to The Elder Scrolls Online: a refresh of the gameplay.
Mechanically ESO feels outdated
Morrowind wants to be seen as a “new game” in many ways – it is not necessary to know the old The Elder Scrolls to get started. But as a new game, The Elder Scrolls Online shows its age.
Mechanically, ESO has received few new features over the years, although a lot has happened, and the game has been overhauled.
Much has been tinkered with existing game systems:
a justice system came halfway
many things now scale in the world
much content from the single-player games has been added: such as the Thieves Guild or the Dark Brotherhood
a different progress system after level 50 has come: the Champion system replaced the Veteran system.
But Zenimax has left the gameplay quite unchanged since the release, although gameplay really needed some love.
Because such modernizations are absent, ESO feels “old” – it feels like an MMORPG from 2014. There was much good in ESO back then and it showed potential. But it’s no longer 2014, and the potential remains untapped in many areas, particularly in three crucial points:
How do I fight?
How do I move through the world?
What else is there outside of quests? How do I interact with objects in the MMORPG?
In the meantime, games like Black Desert have emerged, which have their strengths exactly in these three areas. In Black Desert, one climbs buildings, the combat is fluid and dynamic, and there is much to do and experience in the world outside of quests and combat – The Elder Scrolls Online is lacking in these aspects.
Skyrimization brings technical disadvantages
This is the downside of the Skyrimization that has brought ESO so much success in recent years: ESO is at the technical level of Skyrim in these core gameplay aspects – and Skyrim is 6 years old.
ESO has similar approaches to a modern MMORPG. They pursue the same goals as Black Desert:
ESO also wants to bring a dynamic combat system
it wants to make the world experiential and explorative
it wants to let the player craft and tinker. After all, they should be able to care for their horse.
But ESO feels outdated compared to Black Desert.
The combat system is neither fish nor fowl. It feels mushy, the force behind the abilities is lacking. One spams buttons instead of chaining combos together. Of course, there are the now customary telegraphs and red zones to avoid, but the combat system does not feel top-notch.
Where I can climb onto a roof in Black Desert, ESO plays like an RPG from the last decade. I am dependent on following the paths – otherwise, I get stuck. I cannot jump from the water onto a pier and pull myself up the wood – but I have to find the designated entry point.
In 2014, The Elder Scrolls Online’s crafting system was interesting. There were learnable traits and styles – just by that it was more complex and exciting than, for example, crafting in WoW. But since the release, crafting in The Elder Scrolls Online has not changed decisively and now feels outdated compared to newer games.
But The Elder Scrolls Online Morrowind has other strengths.

The advantages lie in storytelling – Completely in English, fully voiced
The focus of Morrowind is on the world and the quests. Morrowind is modeled after the classic “The Elder Scrolls III”, resurrecting the world of yore but playing much earlier.
The zone is lovingly designed. The quests are outstandingly presented. They are fully voiced and spoken by top-notch actors. The main character Vivec is voiced by the same voice actor who lends his voice to Kevin Spacey in German.
Zenimax wants The Elder Scrolls Online Morrowind to be experienced like a “single-player RPG”. Players should follow each quest – not just read the quest text but hear it, engage with the world, and care about the NPCs’ problems. Players should immerse themselves in the world presented to them.
This is the strength that Black Desert completely forgoes. There, the developers assume that story elements will be skipped anyway. In Black Desert, the story is an alibi to familiarize players with the game mechanics.
This is vastly better and more valuable in The Elder Scrolls Online Morrowind.
The Elder Scrolls Online must be experienced as an event – not as an MMORPG
If players can engage with this story and the quests, Morrowind and The Elder Scrolls Online work. Therefore, ESO could only embark on its successful path when it was released on PS4 and Xbox One and was experienced “on the couch” – like an event, like a film.
Console RPG players, fans of Skyrim, focus much more on a game and its story than most MMORPG players usually do, who have the television running in the background or guild mates chatting in voice chat.
MMORPG veterans need to adjust for Morrowind
MMORPG veterans on the PC tend to skim quest texts and focus on game mechanics. Because the quests often are not worth reading:
Go there
talk to X, kill B or collect C
come back
I will tell you how it continues.
Morrowind brings exactly these quests – but presents them with fully voiced actors and puts in a lot of effort.
Morrowind insists that the player takes their time. It wants the player to be interested in their story and the history. The game firmly assumes that the player listens to every dialogue from the first to the last syllable, then clicks on the next question and patiently listens to the next answer.
Morrowind is only worth it if players take this time. Anyone who doesn’t want to listen to the NPCs should stay away from the game.
One wishes they could block out other players
Morrowind demands a lot from the player to be enjoyed.
MMORPG fans need to adjust and perceive Morrowind as an “adventure RPG”. Additionally, they need to learn to mentally block out other players in the world.
If one is following a dramatic quest, standing over the body of the NPC whose life story they have experienced for the last 20 minutes – and other players are hanging around because they have arrived at exactly the same point in the linear quest – it immensely disrupts the immersion. One cannot dive into the game that way.
I experience a hero’s journey – but a thousand others are experiencing it too – and not together with me, but parallel to me.
I have never wished more to be able to block out other players than I do in Morrowind.
The Elder Scrolls Online Test: How does Morrowind work for new players?
Morrowind is an expansion but also wants to be able to be played as a “new game,” serving as an entry point for ESO. Former veterans should be able to return and create a new hero with the Warden. New players should find their way into the MMORPG with Morrowind.
As such a “new game,” Morrowind unfortunately does not work so well. Anyone who sets off as a level-1 Warden to seek adventure will feel like a dwarf in a world of giants. Because veterans experience the same quests as you do in Morrowind, but deal much more damage and can endure more.
If one cannot mentally block out companions, they experience Morrowind as a single-player game currently washed through. When the “adventurous journey” in a dungeon ends with four heavily equipped players waiting at the endpoint for the spawn of the boss to defeat him over and over again, quite a bit of the magic typically radiated by an RPG diminishes.
The Elder Scrolls Online Morrowind Test: Who is the game worth it for?
Conclusion: Morrowind offers fans of The Elder Scrolls Online a beautiful and lovingly crafted story DLC. The game is worth it if you are willing to engage with these quests and stories. Fans of the world of “The Elder Scrolls” can grab it here.
If you enjoy The Elder Scrolls and want to experience more of your beloved content, you will get your money’s worth here.
Morrowind is especially suitable for friends of the story who want to lose themselves in a narrative. If you like The Elder Scrolls Online, you might even love it after Morrowind.
If you have not been able to connect with the game before due to mechanics or gameplay bothering you, you can skip Morrowind – perhaps take a look during a free weekend sometime.
Gameplay-wise, Morrowind does not advance ESO: It is an MMORPG that places great value on single-player aspects, but here it faces challenges with immersion – due to other players hopping around in the frame.
ESO only really deals with MMORPG aspects in the endgame. There is a transition from “casual questing and story listening” to PvP with theory crafting and endgame activities.
Note: Morrowind has been playable since May 22 in an early access on PC. The game will be released on PS4 and Xbox One on June 6. Our review pertains to the PC version.

These nine powerful bosses await you in the “Tomb of Sargeras” raid of World of Warcraft.
Interesting insights into the new “Tomb of Sargeras” raid were recently shared by Blizzard on the official game website. There, they introduce the raid and showcase the various bosses you will have to fight against. Additionally, there are developer comments explaining the objectives of this raid and what to expect from the boss encounters.
Tomb of Sargeras – What awaits you in the raid?
With the new raid, the developers aimed to create an interior that can do justice to the epic facade above the Broken Shore. At the same time, it should also allow for a variety of atmospheres and opponents in the raid, making the encounter even more enjoyable.
A few key facts about the raid:
Level Requirement: 110
Where? The Broken Shore
Bosses: Nine
Difficulty: Looking for Raid, Normal, Heroic, Mythic
Tomb of Sargeras – All Bosses
The mentioned variety within the raid can be seen in the selection of bosses. From the Naga who can summon his followers, to the Maiden who is driven by malice, everything is included.
Goroth: Marked by searing wounds for his previous failures, Goroth’s flesh hisses and crackles with every movement.
Demonic Inquisition: Kil’jaeden summoned his two best hunters, Atrigan and Belac, to stop intruders trying to breach the prison.
Harjatan: From birth, Harjatan was trained to decimate enemies. He gathered cave murlocs around him, who worship him as a god. When the rough Naga issues a command, his followers spring into action.
Lady Sass’zine: For an eternity, the Lady has spent her time subjugating the ocean’s inhabitants to her dark will. She uses her power to summon nightmares that wash away her challengers.
Sisters of the Moon: For a long time, the Sisters of the Moon served as guardians of the temple. Over time, the sisters lost their sense of who is friend and who is foe, and descended into madness. Anyone who enters their chambers must die.
The Tormented Army: A soul construct desecrates the sacred resting place of the Night Elves. This abominable machine uses the energy of the dead and transforms it into abominations.
Vigilant Maiden: For centuries, the vigilant maiden guarded the Tomb of Sargeras. Gradually, the fel energy of the avatar seeped into the Titan construct, driving the maiden to fall into malice and now wanting to destroy everything that stands in her way.
Fallen Avatar: After Aegwynn defeated the avatar of Sargeras, his armor was buried beneath the Temple of Elune. As the Legion breaches the Tomb’s barriers, Kil’jaeden can revive the armor and unleash its power upon Azeroth.
Kil’jaeden: “After the deal that sent the Draenei fleeing to the stars, Kil’jaeden believed the Legion was unstoppable. Yet all his deceitful acts could not prevent you from reaching this significant moment. The demon lord is furiously enraged over the absence of Sargeras’ promised victory and will confront you in a final battle that will forever determine the fate of Azeroth.“
Another ETF member speaks to the community about The Division: Year 2 brings incredible new content.
Just a few days ago, an “Elite Task Force” member spoke up: He was able to experience the new content and discuss it with the developers – and it was fantastic. The “Year 2” content exceeded his expectations.
Since Friday, the ETF phase is over. Now, another ETF member has something to say in the reddit forum: He can assure the community that Year 2 is full of incredible content. This content will not only provide new things to play, but will also change the way you play.
Whether as a solo player or in a group, new gameplay mechanics will come, new playstyles can be tested. He also emphasizes that it is really “new content”, not rehashed. Moreover, the amount of content that will be available for free is incredible.
At the end of his detailed post, he asks the community to be patient for this content. This “incredible content” is likely to come only with update 1.8 towards the end of the year, about which little is known so far.
By the way: The user has reportedly been identified as a “real” ETF member now.
Contents of ETF Charlie
The ETF Charlie consisted of 12 community members who were able to talk to the developers about Year 2. Meanwhile, the complete program of the third ETF in the history of The Division has been published by the community manager mattshotcha. Over the four days, the following topics were discussed:
Day 1: The ETF members reported which problems in The Division are currently the biggest for them. Then the developers presented the plans for Year 2. These include more than updates 1.7 and 1.8. The ETF provided first feedback on this.
Day 2: There were gameplay sessions and discussions about some aspects of Year 2: The Seasons (Events) of 1.7, changes to the Rogue mechanic in 1.8, Gear Sets, Underground improvements, PvP battles.
Day 3: The focus was on update 1.8 and its new features and new content. Discussions took place about global events, an increase in the world rank and gear score, as well as improvements in survival.
Day 4: No gameplay sessions, but only discussions about improvements to the “Gear Score” feature, loot, drop rates, vendors, and gear qualities. Furthermore, improvements in the Light Zone and Dark Zone, as well as new cosmetic items were discussed. “Quality of Life” improvements were also mentioned.
However, that these topics were discussed is not a confirmation that they will also make it into the game. Official announcements are expected in the coming weeks.
The slasher game Friday the 13th: The Game (Xbox One, PC, PS4) is now live, and the carnage is a bit laggy, a bit buggy, but also terribly fun. Will this be the yearly “buggy summer hit” in 2017?
We have reported on “Friday the 13th: The Game” several times, a asymmetrical multiplayer game, where survivors have to deal with the killer Jason Voorhees from the “Friday the 13th” movies. That’s the guy with the hockey mask and a machete.
The game assigns one player the role of the killer, while the rest become “counselors” who must escape him. Through the “Preference” setting, anyone can set which role they prefer.
It resembles the game “Dead by Daylight” – but with the license from the famous slasher series. And the brutality is turned up to 11, as we know from the quite intense trailers.
Friday the 13th: The Game – Release on PS4, Xbox One, and PC is here
The game is now live, and the demand is so immense, that it is causing server problems. The Kickstarter page states that they are being overwhelmed by “thousands upon thousands of players.” They have already brought new servers live.
Initial Reports: A Mix of Tag and Mortal Kombat
In the first playtest reports, the impression is that of a game, that still feels quite unfinished, but is already a lot of fun. PC Gamer describes a comic-like brutality reminiscent of Mortal Kombat. When the killer catches someone, the game seems to ponder: How can the killer kill his victim in the most spectacular and absurd way while in this position?

In the voice chat, there is a lot going on, people laughed and mocked each other. It reminds of how you played “tag” as a child.
However, the tester also notes that there are some bugs and inaccuracies with clipping.
Summer Hits of Recent Years Were “Multiplayer Games with Lots of Potential, and Even More Problems”
The game could be hitting the zeitgeist: multiplayer games with dramatic storylines, that are great to watch, are currently the hit, as seen with PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds.
On Twitch, Friday the 13th: The Game just reached the 6th most viewers, about the same as Hearthstone. It looks like it could be the next “buggy summer hit.”
Also, in recent years, such multiplayer games have been released in the summer. They became hits on Steam and performed excellently on Twitch. However, they also had numerous problems:
In EVE Online a pilot has been scammed out of a valuable ship. He found out as one of the last.
PCGamer tells one of the famous war stories from the SF MMORPG EVE Online. In EVE there are ships that are particularly valuable, the “Alliance Tournament” ships. They are awarded by developer CCP as a prize for winning a tournament.
These “AT” ships cannot be manufactured otherwise. These ships are worth billions of ISK – so incredibly valuable. They are rare collectibles.
A group of pilots, the “Amamake Police”, collects these ships and flies into battle with them. This is rare because ships can be destroyed in EVE Online.
Therefore, many pilots shy away from war with “valuable ships” and only fly what they can easily replace. However, the Amamake Police flies with their most expensive and finest ships. They seek the thrill.
It’s a bit like betting your Super Bowl ring or your Oscar in a game of roulette. So quite cool.
Famous Frigate has 400 Killmarks – legendary ship in EVE Online
One of them, Tikktokk, has upgraded and refined his AT ship, a Chermoas Frigate, over the last few years. He has installed increasingly expensive equipment so that the thrill is even higher when he goes to war with the frigate. In addition, his ship has now collected 400 killmarks, which are markings for destroying other pilots.
The frigate that Tikktokk pilots is legendary within EVE.
And it was about this frigate that Tikktokk was scammed, and he learned about it in the EVE Online newspaper, in the reddit forum. One day when he logged in, friends showed him a thread on reddit. There, someone proudly tells how he tricked Tikktokk out of the ship worth 300 billion ISK.
Earned trust over 16 months
It’s quite a malicious story. Over 16 months, the pilot had wormed his way into the inner circle of the “Amamake Police”, befriended Tikktokk. He made himself useful, gradually working his way up into the inner circle.
Within the Amamake Police, it is common to exchange the expensive AT ships with each other: “You give me yours – I give you mine.” Because the pilots of this group have known each other for years, are confidants and good friends. They see themselves as a kind of brotherhood.
When the fraudster belonged to the inner circle after 16 months, he then managed to move up through some deals, exchanging for increasingly expensive ships. He was fair, did not do anything with them, until he finally got to Tikktokk’s frigate.
Genius fraudster of EVE has a bit of remorse
Then he dropped the bombshell, opened the reddit thread to celebrate himself as the greatest fraudster of EVE.
He somewhat regrets it as well. He says that over the months he developed sympathy for his victims, but that’s just how EVE is played.
The only reason was ultimately to pull off this fraud and gain “fame”, internet celebrity.
Duped becomes the hero of the fraud
Tikktokk takes it all in stride. He says: The fraudster was the one he did the most with in recent months and who he really liked. He is more annoyed about losing a friend than the loss of the ship. The hours of shared fun are more important to him than some space pixels.
The attitude received much more applause from the fans than the clever fraud. Thus, the victim is the hero of this fraud and not the perpetrator. Even though the universe of EVE Online is often rough: many value friendships in EVE higher than a ship, even if it is such a valuable one.
By the way, the issue with the ship has been resolved: the EVE community came together and repurchased the priceless ship. It is now back in Tikktokk’s possession. He has his ship again. The fraudster is now several billion ISK richer – but he has lost his friends.
Tikktokk, however, does not want to lend his Chermoras anymore: “But not because I am afraid of losing the ship, but maybe losing another friend.”
There is a possible leak for FIFA 18. An image has surfaced that suggests a marketing deal between EA Sports and Sony.
Marketing and exclusive deals are common in the gaming industry. Console manufacturers make certain agreements with game publishers and then advertise exclusive content or bundles for their platform, making statements like: “On our console, you have the best gaming experience!”
Promotional materials for the game usually prominently display the logo of the respective console in some corner.
In recent years, Microsoft has secured the exclusive rights for FIFA titles for their Xbox One. Now it seems that EA is partnering with Sony for FIFA 18.
“FIFA 18” Banner with PS4 Pro
The Polish YouTuber Oskar “Junajted” Siwiec posted this image of himself with a promotional banner for FIFA 18 on Facebook. The “PS4 Pro” logo can be seen in the top left corner:
Allegedly, the image was taken at a “FIFA 18” event in Germany. At such events, press representatives and well-known YouTubers are invited to play the game in advance and conduct interviews with the developers. However, the information from this event cannot be made public until a certain time.
But Siwiec apparently posted an image of it on Facebook, which quickly circulated in the FIFA forums. Apparently, Sony with the PS4 and EA with FIFA 18 are collaborating this year.
This deal is not officially confirmed. Official information is expected to be released during E3 2017. Some fans speculate that the image could also be Photoshop and that it might be fake. Clarity should come in a few weeks.
Are the Legends Coming to PS4 Now?
Exclusive rights to a FIFA game have meant primarily one thing for FIFA fans in recent years: Legends in FUT!
Since FIFA 14, the Legends cards in the “Ultimate Team” mode have been exclusively available on Xbox. PlayStation users have missed out. These cards of former world-class players were not time-exclusive but exclusive.
Possibly, PS4 owners will finally get to enjoy the Legends in FIFA 18. The future will tell.

Paladins hosts the major console battle, where PS4 players face off against Xbox players. The tournament will take place from July 13 to 15 at DreamHack Valencia 2017 in Spain. The skin should also be revealed sometime during this timeframe.
The community skin will be coming to Paladins in the fall during a special event. Details about the event are not yet known.

To play his games, the streamer Rudeism uses interesting input devices. Blizzard provided him with a very special NPC in WoW.
In his streams and Youtube videos, Rudeism attracts attention by playing games with “special” input devices. Creativity knows no bounds with his controllers, as he played in Overwatch using the character “Winston” with bananas or Symmetra with a microwave.
To level from level 1 to level 100 in World of Warcraft, he used a dancing mat. This creativity apparently pleased not only his viewers but also the people at Blizzard. They created a special NPC in the game to honor Rudeism.
Accidentally Discovered Dancing NPC
So much creativity as Rudeism shows should be rewarded. This is probably what the people at Blizzard thought and designed a very special NPC based on the player. The NPC is called Rudaux and occasionally summons a magical dance mat in front of him, which he then uses to dance.
Apparently, Rudeism was not aware of this NPC, which has been found in WoW since the Legion expansion. The character stands in a location that is not frequently visited and has not caught the player’s attention yet.
When he found this special NPC in the stream a few days ago for the first time, it became quite emotional. You can see his reaction in the following Twitch clip:
And this is what Rudaux looks like when he feels like dancing:

This is how Rudeism managed to dance from his apartment all the way to Azeroth on his dancing mat. We congratulate him and look forward to more interesting ways he plays online games.
Every fan of Destiny 2 would certainly love to hang one of these weapons over their fireplace. Guardian hearts are beating faster!
A good week ago, on May 18th, the gameplay premiere of Destiny 2 took place. Bungie provided some information about the upcoming sequel of the MMO shooter Destiny and showed in-game footage for the first time. We have summarized all known innovations of Destiny 2 here.
During the event, attendees were able to get hands-on with Destiny 2 and sneak a peek at the first story mission, the strike “Inverted Spire,” and the new PvP mode “Countdown.” But that’s not all: various merchandise products and life-sized weapon models were on display for everyone to admire.
The following images were taken by GameSpot. They showcase the “coolest” exhibition pieces. We embed them here for you.
“Mega Construx” sets and weapons in “life size”
Mega Construx is a brand of Mega Bloks, a major action figure and collectible manufacturer. Back in January 2017, there was a leak via Mega Construx as a set description spoke of an attack by the Cabal on the Tower and Lord Shaxx wielding the Exo sword Eraser. This set is visible here on the left. On the right is a ship:
Ash is the new tank lady of Paladins and will enter the battlefield with patch OB 51. We present to you the skills and legendary cards of the brutal knight.
Inara is no longer the only lady on the front lines. Ash is a tank born for war and fighting. It’s no coincidence that she bears the title “The War Machine”. Ash is a proud knight who lets her flak cannon do the talking. Ash is brutal and crushes everything in her path. With 5750 health points, Ash belongs to the robust tanks in Paladins and is not easily taken down.
Paladins’ new tank Ash – This lady does not take orders and takes what she wants.
Ash pursues an offensive strategy: Attack is the best defense
The knight attacks her enemies with her massive cannon, which uses spiked bullets as projectiles. The bullets explode at medium range and deal area damage. Ash can trigger a kinetic explosion with these bullets that sends enemies flying back. Ideal for throwing opponents off objectives or even the map. If that is not enough to crush the opponents, Ash becomes a battering ram. The knight charges forward and throws enemies back with a powerful shoulder tackle.
As a true knight, Ash rolls into battle with a shield. The rolling is meant literally: The shield is on small wheels and moves constantly forward. Allies run protected behind the shield while Ash can move freely from the shield.
Ash pushes opponents back with her flak cannon and deals area damage.
Paladins: When Ash activates her ultimate skill, the knight cannot take damage anymore
Her ultimate ability is a statement: Ash charges forward, drives her flag into the ground, and marks her territory. Opponents take damage when Ash drives the flag into the ground.
Ash creates a zone around the flag where she is immune to all damage. Ash can still be affected by “crowd-control” effects like a stun. Makoa could also pull her out of the zone with his anchor.
If Ash activates her ultimate, she drives her flag into the ground. This creates a zone in which she cannot take damage.
Ash’s abilities: Skills disperse enemies – Ideal for taking control points
Ash is perfect for scattering enemies and throwing them off control points. She can deal damage from a relatively long distance for a tank and trigger explosions.
[LMB] Pulse Cannon: Fire a shrapnel fragment every 0.9s that explodes and deals 400 area damage. Area damage.
[RMB] Kinetic Explosion: Overheat your shrapnel. The next time you fire, the fragment explodes immediately, deals 300 damage in a cone in front of you and knocks enemies back. Area damage.
[Q] Siege Shield: Deploy a siege shield with 5,000 HP that moves forward and stops for 6s.
[F] Shoulder Bash: Pull your shoulders in and charge forward. Hit enemies take 800 damageand are knocked back. Direct damage.
[E – Ultimate] Radiate Dominance: Leap forward and stick your flag in the ground. Deal 350 damage upon impact and create a zone where you cannot take damage. The zone lasts for 8s.
Paladins’ new tank Ash: Here are her legendary cards
Every champion in Paladins comes with their own individual set of cards. The deck build influences champions and their strategy significantly. The legendary cards are particularly powerful and set the strategy for the match. These mighty cards have been distributed to Ash.
Ash’ legendary cards: Fortress Breaker, Battering Ram, and Convergence.
Fortress Breaker: Siege shield moves 80% slower and has 3,000 more HP.
Battering Ram: While channeling Shoulder Bash, you gain CC immunity and 90% damage reduction.
Convergence: Radiate Dominance stuns affected enemies for 2s. Damage from allies within 100 units increases by 20% for 3s.
Ash is now available on the test server for you to try out and with patch OB 51, which officially brings Ash to Paladins, we can expect it in approximately a week.
Leya says: Ash seems to take a special and unique place in the meta. She will particularly shine in siege matches where control points need to be taken. The skills of the knight are completely designed to deal with groups and scatter them. Ash will likely have the most difficulty against a well-coordinated team that keeps her in check with crowd-control.
At first glance, her abilities seem quite strong, but not impossible to counter. Ash’ health points are high and I could imagine they might be lowered.

The design of Ash is rather rugged and does not suggest a shining knight. She is someone who gets her job done quickly and without fuss – with no regard for losses. She seems like the exact opposite of the shining knight Fernando. According to the developers, she is not a “bad” character, but she also does not always fully adhere to the law.
Even though the tank is not my favorite role, I am already looking forward to testing Ash.
What do you think of Ash – the War Machine? Does she seem well-balanced to you and what do you think of the design?

To buy all the skins and emotes from the Anniversary Event in Overwatch, you need over 50,000 Credits. Players are complaining, Blizzard is listening.
The Anniversary Event started a few days ago and invites the community to celebrate the one-year anniversary of the shooter. The event features special skins and emotes that can appear in loot boxes. Those who have no luck with the boxes can also purchase the content with credits. However, for the 108 items, you will need 56,475 Credits.
The prices are a cause for complaint, as they have increased significantly compared to other events. Jeff Kaplan, the Game Director of Overwatch, explains that Blizzard is closely monitoring these complaints.
The skins already cost 33,000 Credits
In a Reddit thread, user Desks_up created a table listing the prices of a total of 108 items. His result is that players must spend 56,475 Credits for all items.
11 Legendary Skins: 33,000 Credits (About 58.2% of the total cost)
24 Dance Emotes: 18,000 Credits (About 31.9% of the total cost)
48 Voice Lines: 3,600 Credits (About 6.4% of the total cost)
25 Spray Logos: 1,875 Credits (About 3.3% of the total cost)
The eleven legendary skins contribute significantly to the high total cost of the Anniversary items. A few cheaper skins might be a welcome alternative for the community.
Of course, no player is forced to buy these items. However, fans enjoy purchasing cosmetic items for their favorite heroes, and the total cost has now risen compared to other events.
Uprising Event: 36,825 Credits for 95 items
Year of the Rooster: 37,050 Credits for 99 items
Winter Wonderland: 33,075 Credits for 94 items
Halloween Terror: 31,500 Credits for 94 items
In the Battle.net forums and other social networks, players are complaining about the increased total costs. Game director Jeff Kaplan responded to the complaints in the forum and assured that Blizzard is closely examining the feedback.
The threads about the loot box rewards of the Anniversary Event, other events, and loot boxes in general are being monitored by the team. “The feedback and suggestions have helped us a lot,” writes Kaplan. “We had extensive discussions about the feedback we received this week. While I can’t announce any direct changes, I thought it was important for you to know that we are listening.”
This unfortunately is no promise that the prices will look different in the future. But it sounds like Blizzard is on the side of the community on this issue.
The gameplay reveal of Destiny 2 has confused some. This is not a new game! “Yes, that’s true. But no one expected that,” believes our author Schuhmann. In its distribution model, the Destiny franchise resembles a TV series like Game of Thrones more than a “classic game series.”
During the gameplay reveal of Destiny 2, it was clear to see who has played Destiny for a long time and who has not:
There were those who wanted to see the next step their favorite game is taking.
And there were those who tuned in to experience the game presentation of a significant new AAA title.
A group of them sat there at the end with a blissful grin. The others shrugged and could not understand what the fuss was about. The term “Destiny 1.5” was going around.

Fans in the hall and Youtubers who have followed the shooter for years burst into cheers during the presentation. 400,000 watched on Twitch. On Reddit, the moderators celebrated every detail, every innovation. Changes to individual abilities were noted positively. The fans were happy to see familiar faces. Applause erupted for a weapon that only existed as a phantom in the database in Destiny 1.
What raised only question marks for others: “Who is that guy and why is he blue?”, warmed the hearts of hardcore Destiny fans: There is my boss, Zavala, and he was once just a noob like me!
When gameplay was then shown, neutral viewers rubbed their eyes: Aren’t those the same enemies as in year 1? The same graphics, the same principle? Even the same classes! What is supposed to be new there? Why is this a new game and not an expansion?

Destiny 2 is not a new, innovative game. Destiny 2 does not behave in relation to Destiny in the same way that sequels in a series usually relate to their predecessor, just as Diablo 2 relates to Diablo 1 or even Guild Wars 2 to Guild Wars 1.
Rather, Destiny 2 is like the next season in a successful TV series.
There are some changes to the basic formula, but not much changes: the same actors, the same settings, the same themes.
This was good! I want more of that!
And that is exactly what the fans expected. Because the first part of Destiny felt “unfinished” since Destiny was structured like a TV series, in which the ending was missing. And with series, people always want more.
No one thinks after the first season of Game of Thrones, “Well, that’s enough for me now! I’m glad I watched it. I’m curious about what the producers will do next!” Instead, they say: “That was good! I want more! What happens next? When does it continue?”
No one in Destiny 1 felt: “Now it is over.” The feeling was “That was just the beginning. I want more.”
And that is exactly what Destiny 2 wants to deliver to them.
The distribution model of games like Destiny or The Division, “Games-as-a-service,” resembles that of a TV series rather than that of a film. And that is the logical consequence: A Destiny 2 does not feel like a new movie, but like the new season of a television series.
Path-breaking was already Taken King in 2015
The way Destiny was at release, the game did not work: the formula was flawed. Therefore, the formula was already adjusted with the first expansion “The Taken King” in September 2015. With these changes:
more MMO elements
more story
more quests
more to do.
Bungie has already taken the pioneering step in 2015 and is now continuing down this path with Destiny 2.
No major innovations are coming with Destiny 2, as none are necessary. The game works – and what is not broken does not need to be fixed.
Destiny does not need to reinvent itself
The path of Destiny has been clearly mapped out since 2015; it just needs to be followed now. The problem in the last few years has been that no steps in the right direction have been made. No game content has been introduced. But the direction has been clear.
In gaming, there are some game series that are exhausted and desperately need to reinvent themselves after countless installments. But: Destiny does NOT belong to these game series. Destiny does not need to reinvent itself because no one can no longer stand to see it, but in Destiny, fans have been calling for “more” for 2 years.
And with Destiny 2, these steps are coming; the encore is coming. Fans see this, and they are excited about it. However, some changes are desperately needed in the formula, and they are likely coming.
Changes to the basic formula of gameplay mechanics – but also concerns
It is now interesting to observe how Bungie changes the formula:
But there are currently serious problems with the “technical details.”
Fans are particularly concerned that Bungie has not decided to implement dedicated servers.
Also, the cap of 30 FPS on PS4 and Xbox One in 2017 makes some fans gulp hard.
And that the PC port still has no release date, and is set to come later than the console versions, is a cause for frustration.
Currently, this is a much bigger problem for hardcore fans than the fact that Destiny 2 does not “feel like a new game.”
Bungie now also has to live with the disadvantages of a TV series when it comes to Destiny
However, if Bungie wants to be evaluated like a TV series, they also have to accept the disadvantages of this model.
Even if the new entry works thanks to the reboot character, it will become increasingly difficult to find new players. Bungie will then rely on maintaining the existing player base.
The question is whether Bungie will be able to long-term solve the content poverty after release, and whether they can meaningfully develop Destiny 2 further. To stick to the series analogy: The release of Destiny 2 is just a strong first episode; afterward, good episodes need to follow before one can say: “That was a good season.”
Furthermore, if a season goes wrong and does not work at all, the future of the entire series is endangered.
We have dealt with the principle that Destiny functions like a TV series here:
In The Division, the Agent Highlights for May are known. These agents receive in-game rewards thanks to their creativity.
For a few months now, there has been a new way to obtain Phoenix Credits and Premium Credits: it is called Agent Highlights.
To participate, you must prove your creativity, create fan art, or dress up in cosplay. With a bit of luck, you will then be selected by Massive and receive in-game prizes.
These are the rewards:
Every agent whose art is showcased receives 1000 Phoenix Credits.
Team Favourite: The work that the developer team likes the most is worth 2000 Phoenix Credits and 800 Premium Credits. The Premium Credits are the currency for microtransactions.
Community Favourite: Last month, players could choose a community work for the first time. Massive provided a selection, and now the winner is known. They also receive 2000 Phoenix Credits and 800 Premium Credits.
These are the winners for May 2017
The first work comes from “TheUnburntGirl” and shows a cosplay of Larae Barrett. Also, pay attention to the detailed SHD fingernail:

In For Honor, a tournament and ranking mode is coming to the game. Test phases will take place beforehand.
Ubisoft has released “This Week in For Honor”. It discusses the tournament and ranking mode that was announced months ago as part of the “Year 1” plan. It was stated that it would be released later this year.
Now it is known: The tournaments and ranking matches are coming in the summer. Ubisoft has set this timeline:
In the coming weeks, PTS (Public Test Servers) are expected to go live. These test servers will primarily be used to allow a portion of the community to thoroughly test the upcoming tournaments and ranking matches. Player feedback is crucial.
Following the PTS phase, there will be a beta version of the tournament and ranking mode. Then the entire community can test the new feature.
In August, Season 3 will begin. During this time – as Ubisoft expects – you will not only play with new heroes and new content but also spend a lot of time in tournaments and ranking matches.
Tournaments, Ranking Matches – What is it all about?
Ubisoft has not yet revealed any details on what tournaments and ranking matches will look like in For Honor. Concrete info is expected to follow “soon”.
By the way: While the “Year 1” plan mentions tournaments and ranking matches, it now speaks of only one “tournament/ranking mode”. It remains to be seen what will actually come to the players.
Ranking matches are usually designed for players who want to take the game “seriously” and test their skills rather than just playing a few relaxed rounds online. With victories, they rise in rank. The higher the final rank, the better the rewards are likely to be. This is expected to be similar in For Honor.
More info from “This Week in For Honor”:
On June 1st, new weekly content will be released: things like executions, outfits, or emotes.
Next week, a community workshop will take place at the Montreal Studios. Top players can see what content is planned for Season 3 and provide their feedback.
The new heroes of Season 2 are the Centurion and the Shinobi. You can find information about these heroes in the links.
This is an AI-powered translation. Some inaccuracies might exist.
The MMO shooter Destiny 2 will be released on PC and will support mouse and keyboard. We have the control key mapping for Destiny 2 for you.
It is a sacrilege for some Destiny veterans. On PS4 and Xbox One, some miscreants played Destiny with mouse and keyboard. They used certain assistive devices for that. For many purists, this is “cheating” and frowned upon. Those who want to play this way have no place on consoles; they should better play on PC, it is often said.
Well, the PC version of Destiny 2 is coming, it does not yet have a release date, but we already know many details. This includes the mapping with mouse and keyboard. Gamespot has published this image showing the key mapping.
Classic keyboard layout for Destiny 2
It is quite classic:
Fire with the left mouse button
Aim with the right mouse button
Movement runs over WASD
Jump with the spacebar
Switch between individual weapons in the new weapon system of Destiny 2 using the number keys 1, 2, and 3 – this can also be done using the middle mouse wheel
Q is the grenade (very important)
Super is on F (even more important)
Classes can be activated with V. These are new in Destiny 2
With E, the Guardian strikes in melee
R traditionally reloads the weapon
Shift is for sprinting
And Control is for crouching
Somewhat unusual: The “Interact” key is G; usually, it is often on E
With the arrow keys, 4 emotes can be used
F1 opens the character menu
The Tab key summons the ghost
Whoever says now: That’s nonsense, no intelligent person plays with WASD, I play ESDF – like a real pro: One will be able to completely rearrange the control in Destiny 2.
More info on Destiny 2 and what changes are coming can be found here:
