Invasion is the new game mode that is set to be activated in League of Legends. Together with four other players, you have to survive six difficulty levels consisting of various mini-games.
A new game mode is set to bring new life to League of Legends. The mode is called Invasion and will also be released with new Star Guardian skins. You can expect a new map, a new announcer, and a lot of nasty enemies.
Invasion Mode in League of Legends
To succeed in Invasion, you must complete a match with six difficulty levels and win a boss fight. The six levels are divided into three different mini-games:
Survival: Defeat all enemy waves
Escape: Fight your way to the end of the level step by step
Defense: Fend off attackers from a protective shield
Between each level, there is a fixed sum of gold and experience points. You then have the chance to buy items and upgrade them. If you make it to the end of the six levels, a tough boss fight awaits you. You can imagine it similarly to the nasty Teemo that appears in the Doom Bots of Doom.
To win, you must defeat the nasty boss.
Harsh Enemies Await You
The monsters that await you in Invasion are buffed versions of Void champions. On the list are Cho’Gath, Vel’Koz, Kog’Maw, Rek’Sai, and Kha’Zix. Additionally, Skarner will make an appearance. Many of the enemies can be further strengthened and then gain even more powerful attacks.

Event for the Star Guardian Skins in LoL? Last year, Riot released Star Guardian skins for Lux, Jinx, Lulu, Poppy, and Janna. This year, there will be Star Guardian skins for Ahri, Ezreal, Syndra, Soraka, and Miss Fortune. All ten of these champions will be available for you to choose from in the Invasion mode. The new mode and skins are expected to be released in patch 7.17, which is set to come out in August.

How do you like the prospect of the new mode? Would you play Invasion?

What is frowned upon in other games becomes a new feature in Black Desert: AFK leveling. We show what Black Desert has planned for 2017.
Black Desert has presented its plans for the near future: what will still happen in the MMORPG in South Korea in 2017. Some of this will surely come to Europe soon.
An English translation from the original Korean is now available, beginning with flattering words. Jae-Hee Kim, the Executive Producer of Pearl Abyss, sings the praises of his game’s success.
Since March 2016, it has practically only gone uphill. Starting with 36 servers, there are now 49, and everything is great thanks to the community.
For the super-rich, “Luxury Auctions” will find their way into the game. Rare items will be sold there, bidding against other players – a classic gold sink
and players will be able to set up their tents and take a break on the way.
Some things may take a little longer
All of this is planned for the second half of 2017 in South Korea. Interestingly, neither the port of Black Desert on PS4 and Xbox One nor the graphic update is really mentioned in the text. This could mean that it will take a bit longer. Airship and climbing, for example, have been postponed to “later”.
The graphic update is mentioned only in passing. It is said that a “Sound and Graphic Remastery” could come, but it’s mentioned in the same breath as a donkey upgrade … a bit strange.
It is said, they regret that they will not be able to implement all the plans they presented in spring by 2017, but promise that they will do their best to work on it.
AFK Leveling as a Feature: Training of Black Spirit
A feature that is supposed to come in 2017 is particularly interesting for us in the West. The producer introduces it with: “I’m too busy to play” and “I even want to level up while I sleep.”
It is the “Training of Black Spirit” – which has already been active in South Korea during special events, but is now supposed to be available constantly. Here, you look for a trainer, buy a coupon, and beat up a straw dummy. This starts the “automatic training and gathers experience points.”
The method is supposed to be slower than the “normal” grinding, but it will help players still gain experience even after completing their grinding quota.
AFK playing is an element that Black Desert enjoys. Fishing and riding also function AFK, and player characters or their mounts will gain strength while doing so.
The prologue of the latest Hearthstone expansion is what fans wanted. Story, gameplay, and plenty of humor.
The latest expansion of Hearthstone went live this morning (August 11, 2017) and players can not only grab all 135 new cards, but also play the prologue and the first wing of the free story missions.
Blizzard’s goal with Knights of the Frozen Throne was not to completely parody the Lich King Arthas, as had been done with Kel’Thuzad and other villains. They ended up being more of a parody in terms of their character. But the Lich King was meant to be cruel while still fitting into the casual setting of Hearthstone – and that has been accomplished brilliantly!
Just the prologue drips with jokes and simultaneous cruelty. Players must face the Lich King as Jaina Proudmoore. In the background, you can hear the Paladin Tirion Fordring calling out, giving you a time limit – in 3 turns, he and his heroes will be ready to support Jaina.
Jaina dies – but not for long
To spoil a bit: It is not possible to survive three rounds with the pre-made deck. As the best possible taunt, you even play a Magmaw, which perfects the wrath.
The Lich King then wins the match or at least is supposed to give that impression. However, you do not simply die, but are resurrected as a Death Knight!
Afterward, Tirion arrives and throws Jaina his “heroes.” Among them are really funny ideas, like the “overzealous tank” (who has no taunt) or A. F. Karla, who could deal 5 damage but cannot attack at all. Or how about the inattentive Raider, who has 7 attack but only 1 health and deals fire damage to herself at the end of the round (because she was standing in fire – what else?). At the same time, we now have some really powerful cards in hand as Jaina, all from the new expansion. Tirion’s foolish crew doesn’t stand a chance.
Blizzard has managed to incorporate almost all important information of the expansion in this first mission. What is “Knights of the Frozen Throne” about? What are the heroes in their Death Knight form? What new cards are there? Everything could be tried and tested.
Ultimately, the prologue was also a “Free Win,” meant to set the stage – the upcoming battles will be much tougher.
How did you like the prologue and the first wing? Are the battles fun for you? Or is the Lich King still too silly for you?
Bungie has since responded to all complaints more or less satisfactorily:
Regarding PvE, the statement was made that the beta build is already outdated and players will definitely feel more powerful in “Guardian vs. Alien” battles.
In response to the slow PvP, they released a fast-paced, action-packed PvP trailer that still raises questions. Will PvP in Destiny be faster now?
And regarding the glitches and further points of criticism from the beta, there is now more information available.
These adjustments are already available in the PC beta
The sandbox designer Josh Hamrick talks about adjustments and bug fixes that will already be available in the PC beta of Destiny 2. First, he thanks everyone for the feedback from the console beta: Some problems that were discovered and reported during the beta have now been fixed.
Warlocks now have the same melee range as the other classes. However, there will still be perks that can increase this range.
In general, the cooldown for the Supers has been reduced. Bungie agrees with all the user feedback that it took too long for Supers to charge in the beta.
Grenade damage in PvE has been increased. Grenades are supposed to feel powerful again. Compared to Destiny 1, abilities will be somewhat rarer but then more valuable.
More power ammunition in PvE. In PvE, there will be “much more” ammunition for power weapons. The ammo can be farmed directly from enemies with yellow health bars.
The PC beta will be a few steps closer to the launch version of Destiny 2 than the console beta, Hamrick shares.
An MMORPG in the Pokémon universe would likely be the gaming dream for many trainers. A fan product on Roblox makes this fantasy a reality. “Pokémon Brick Bronze” is a full-fledged MMORPG with social networking features. Here, you set out into the colorful world of pocket monsters together with your friends to become the very best trainer.
Since my childhood, I have been breathing in everything that is Pokémon and have been dreaming for ages of a game that lets me dive deeper into the universe of pocket monsters.
Making friendships, training together, trading, and collecting are at the core of Pokémon. MMORPGs provide us the opportunity to immerse ourselves in another reality together with friends or strangers and forget about everyday life for a moment. Pokémon simply fits an MMORPG, and there would be plenty of material for an exciting story and interesting gameplay.
However, there is still no high-quality professionally produced MMORPG from Pokémon.
Pokémon Brick Bronze fulfills the dream of a Pokémon MMORPG
It is not an official version but a fan product. But Pokémon Brick Bronze fulfills the dream of a full-fledged MMO in the universe of pocket monsters.
This is a free-to-play Pokémon MMORPG that you can play on PC, Mac, iOS, Android, and Xbox. Pokémon Brick Bronze has been in development since 2015.
In Pokémon Brick Bronze, there are the same things to do as you would expect from a “normal” Pokémon game: Go on adventure journeys, catch, train, trade, and battle Pokémon. Many of the original Pokémon from the franchise are represented with their known models, alongside the classic gameplay and unique elements.
On the day you enter the game, you wake up in your parent’s house, just like in the handheld games. Then you go to the professor to choose your first Pokémon. In the Roblox version, there are all 18 starters. The adventure can begin, and you stroll through tall grass, battle trainers, criminals like Team Rocket, and gym leaders. In the Roblox version, your parents are archaeologists who have discovered a dark secret of the Pokémon world and are therefore being chased by criminals.
The biggest difference between Pokémon Brick Bronze and the original games is that you – as is customary for an MMORPG – experience the adventure together with other players.
The Roblox platform makes the Pokémon MMORPG in Lego style possible
The Roblox platform allows for the creation of virtual worlds. These worlds have an angular style and resemble Lego productions. Roblox has approximately 56 million active players.
Playing a Roblox game is super easy. You only need to download the client, design your character, and press the big “Play” button. And the game starts. Roblox is simple but also offers a lot of creative freedom.
Most Roblox games are free. However, many of the games offer upgrades that can be purchased with Robux. Robux is the premium currency of the platform and can be purchased with real money.
On Roblox, there are even more Pokémon fan games, many of which use the official models of the franchise. Pokémon Brick Bronze is by far the most popular Pokémon game on the platform and even appears under the “Games” section on the homepage.
Is such a copy of the Pokémon franchise even legal?
One should not completely ignore that Pokémon Brick Bronze has “borrowed” many of the original elements of the franchise.
The models of the Pokémon are exactly copied, and the gameplay or even the official logo has been adopted. This makes fans feel right at home and allows them to dive deeper into this universe. Nevertheless, one must ask whether there is no copyright infringement – Even if the story of Pokémon Brick Bronze is largely original and self-made.
Fan products are not bad in themselves and help the community and the game to grow. It only becomes problematic when money comes into play. Through the DevEx program, developers can earn money through Roblox games. The developers can exchange Robux, which they earn, for real money.
There have already been cases where the copyright of Pokémon games has been contested. Pokémon Uranium and Pokémon Prism both did not come from Nintendo and received a DMCA notice from The Pokémon Company. DMCA stands for “Digital Millennium Copyright Act” and is a US law that deals with copyright issues.
Where there is no plaintiff, there is no judge
However, different rules apply to Pokémon Brick Bronze as it was developed via the Roblox platform. Roblox is comparable to YouTube in this case. The developers are users of the platform and use Roblox tools to create content that can be consumed by fans.
Roblox states about itself that they strongly believe in protecting intellectual property. They claim that they remove content from Roblox as soon as the intellectual property owner comes forward. In this case, that would be Nintendo.
The DMCA law states that operators of user-generated content need a “safe harbor” to protect themselves. As long as Roblox provides a way to accept DMCA notices, they are in the legal area. An email address is sufficient.
As long as Nintendo does not assert copyrights against Pokémon Brick Bronze, everything is in the (gray) green area.
Pokémon Brick Bronze – Gameplay video
In the video below, you can take a look at the gameplay of Pokémon Brick Bronze. Here, the YouTuber Foey battles against the creator of Brick Bronze. His alias is Lando64000, and he is considered an absolute legend in the community – explaining the excitement of the player in the video.
Every Friday, we ask our Mein-MMO community what their plans are for the weekend. Which games do you want to play? Are they the classic games that you have been grinding for a long time, or do you like to try something new on the weekend? We will show you what our editorial team is playing and ask for your gaming tips.
In just a few hours, the well-deserved weekend begins for most of you. It’s time to relax and recover from the stressful week while gaming. You have many trendy games to choose from.
Summer Games in Overwatch have started
In Overwatch, the Summer Games await you in the coming days. An event where there are special skins for Reaper, Soldier 76, Junkrat, and other heroes. You can also prove your ball skills with the supporter in Lúcioball.
If you are on consoles, you can now test Ghost Recon Wildlands for free in a demo version. This is available for PS4 and Xbox One and lasts for five hours. During this time, all content of the game is available and you have the possibility to explore the entire map.
We have a wide range of games planned for the weekend. Hero shooters and MMOs are just as much included as survival games.
Here are our games for the weekend:
Benedict is taking advantage of the summer party in Overwatch this weekend and hopefully securing some cool skins. Recently, the Copa Lúcioball mode caused issues. The World Cup is also taking place this weekend, which he plans to follow.
Tom is going to play as Captain Adéwalé this weekend and raid slave trader ships in Assassin’s Creed: Freedom Cry. The game is available for free download in the PS Plus offer for August 2017.
Schuhmann is making good progress in Fortnite and hunting husks.
Cortyn is searching for survivors again in the coming days. In Dead by Daylight, there was a patch that reworked the most hated killer.
I will use the weekend to play the low-gravity shooter Lawbreakers. It has already received many positive reviews, but has issues with its player count. If the weather is nice, I will also go outside to search for a legendary bird in Pokémon GO. Zapdos is still active as a raid boss for a few more days.
What are your games for the weekend? Do you have any recommendations for us and the community that we should definitely try?

The “Atlas Rises” update finally brings the long-awaited multiplayer to No Man’s Sky.
No Man’s Sky was one of the most exciting games on the gaming market in the summer of 2016. Nobody quite knew what would be possible in this space simulation and what would not.
Because Sean Murray, the founder of Hello Games, was quite vague about his statements regarding the promising title – which led to expectations and hype skyrocketing, only to end in massive disappointment shortly after launch.
One reason was the missing multiplayer: Murray promised that one could meet other players in the gigantic universe. However, the chance of that was so slim that he did not refer to it as “multiplayer”.
Some players managed to be in the same place at the same time – and yet they did not encounter each other. Because it was indeed not possible to meet other players. This frustrated fans, and many angrily abandoned the game.
For the anniversary, a “real” multiplayer is coming
The release of No Man’s Sky is now one year ago – and a lot has happened in this year. The simulation has been expanded with many meaningful features, and numerous bugs have been fixed.
Recently, the anniversary update “Atlas Rises” (Update 1.3) was announced, which is supposed to be released soon. As reported by Eurogamer, a list of the innovations of this update appeared for a short time, but was taken offline immediately. Update: The page is now back online!
Accordingly, Atlas Rises introduces, in addition to a new and revised story and portals for fast travel, also “joint exploration”. In other words: “joint exploration”.
Here, up to 16 players can see each other and communicate with one another (via voice chat), thus exploring the universe together. The interaction with other players is currently very limited, but it is still an important first step towards cooperative multiplayer in No Man’s Sky, according to Hello Games. Other players are displayed as strange, floating orbs:
Further innovations that update 1.3 brings can be seen in this video:

Those who exploit glitches in PUBG to gain advantages are not welcome there. Even streamers are not spared from punishment. The popular streamer “Destiny” has now been banned in Battlegrounds for exploiting a game error.
The streamer “Destiny” has been active on Twitch.TV for a long time, streaming titles like League of Legends or PUBG. However, he now has to take a forced break from PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds, as he has been banned from the battle royale shooter. Why? A glitch caused missing textures and allowed him to drive through houses with a car.
“This is why I am banned”
Destiny has a large community of over 200,000 followers who regularly watch him play. Recently, he has often streamed PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds and entertained his fans. However, this entertainment is now interrupted by a forced break.
He joked, “This is why I am banned,” while running over other players with his jeep. Killing other players with vehicles is actually a common option in PUBG, but the players Destiny ran over were inside houses. A glitch caused the houses to not render properly – Destiny could simply drive through the walls and squash opponents inside. He made several kills and has now been banned for it.
In the video, you can see how Destiny discovers the glitch with a lot of fun and takes out several people who were supposed to be safe inside buildings. After mentioning it several times during the stream, he was actually banned shortly after the action.
The issue was that the textures of the buildings were not loading. Many players in PUBG experience this bug. However, one should behave differently when something like this occurs.
According to the rules of PUBG, it states: “Do not exploit bugs or glitches. If you find a bug or glitch in the game that gives unfair advantages, please let us know instead of exploiting it for your own gain.”
Apparently, Destiny should have restarted his game to check if the bug persisted.
Community divided – Is the ban unfair?
This ban is hotly debated within the PUBG community. The issue many see: The game failed to load the textures, and Destiny is being punished for it. That is unfair.
In fact, many users are on the streamer’s side: “What was he supposed to do? Pretend he couldn’t see players in invisible buildings? Leave the game? Sit around and wait until the textures might eventually appear?”
Others refer to the game’s rules and say “Those who exploit glitches to their advantage should also be punished for it.”

By the way, Destiny is now allowed back into the game; his ban is reportedly temporary. And already, he’s facing an old acquaintance in one of his games:
and secondly, grab double rewards at a weekend event now to quickly gather the necessary items for your future builds.
Postponed event is now taking place
Massive initially announced the weekend event with double rewards for last weekend, but it had to be postponed at short notice: to this weekend.
It has been running since August 11 at 2 AM
It ends on August 14 at 2 AM
During the event, there are double performance containers. This means that every time you fill the experience points bar, you immediately receive two loot boxes.
The first classified gear sets are Lone Wolf, DeadEYE, and Final Measure. So now you can already think of creative builds around these sets and farm the necessary weapons and mods. Keep in mind that the classified items have higher values in the primary attributes (firearms, stamina, electronics) than the previous armor pieces, which is why you can use different mods, but your talents will still be unlocked.

MMORPGs are rarely considered beauties. Often, they make compromises to ensure performance so that even older computers can run the action smoothly. The inner values matter. But today, we only care about the outside: Which MMORPG is the most beautiful in the entire land?
Gameplay depth, complexity, and great gameplay – these are what many look for in an MMORPG. But today, we don’t care about the inner values; we only look at the outside. We want to know from you: Which MMORPG has the best graphics? Which looks the most beautiful?
Aesthetics and Art Style: Realistic and Subtle or Sparkling and Martial?
With the question of the best graphics, we mean all factors that the eye can perceive, including the aesthetics of a game. There are different approaches.
World of Warcraft is known for its martial approach, which is based on the Gothic aesthetics of Warhammer and takes it to the extreme. Much of it is martial – huge shoulder pads, oversized axes, teeth, claws, and thorns.
In contrast, Lord of the Rings Online is more oriented towards the simple-realistic style of Middle-earth. Earth tones dominate.
The fantastic steel and light worlds of Skyforge radiate with their own aesthetics. The futuristic look has many fans.
Completely different is the aesthetic when looking towards Asia. Whether Black Desert, Tera, or Blade & Soul – everything is oversized, everything sparkles and glitters.
Love for Detail
For many MMORPG players, an important question is: How does my character look? How does it feel when I move? Am I clumsy and angular, or do I glide elegantly through the mythical world?
Often, it is the little things that determine how comfortable we feel in a game. Things we don’t even consciously notice, but which give us a good feeling.
Idle animations, for example: How do avatars behave when we are not maneuvering them around? This often reflects the personality of a game.
Lovingly crafted environments like in Guild Wars 2, the bustling activity in the capitals of Final Fantasy XIV or SWTOR – all of this counts for us as external values, the spectacle values.
What we mean with the question of the best graphics is: “Which game pleases your eyes the most?”
We provide you with numerous options in the list. But keep in mind that you only have one choice: You must decide.
Our community includes many MMORPG experts, but opinions vary widely. The community can rarely agree on a favorite. This was evident in the question about the MMORPG with the best combat system:
The jungle calls. After PC players have already plunged into the adventures of the new Neverwinter addon Tomb of Annihilation, it is now clear when console players can join in.
On September 12, it will happen. The adventure module will also be released for PS4 and Xbox One. You will reach the new area by ship and start your expeditions from the harbor city of Port Nyanzaru.
Death is omnipresent!

Also new are repeatable adventures, which will give you something to do constantly.
Lift the death curse!
The story revolves around your desire to break the death curse that is raging in the city of Neverwinter. The clues you have gathered in previous adventures have now led you to Chult. Is the solution to the puzzle to be found here? In the new adventures of the campaign, you will find out. How the adventures after Tomb of Annihilation will continue will be revealed by the developers of the MMORPG Neverwinter at a later date.

Microsoft announced that it will adjust the achievement system of the Xbox One. This should primarily benefit those who play few games, but play them much more intensively.
Especially fans of online games often play only a few games, but very frequently. For example, someone who intensively plays an MMORPG is likely to play few other role-playing games concurrently. Regarding online shooters or MOBAs, players want to invest as much time as possible in ‘their’ title to become really good and compete with many fellow players.
Those who play few games have a low gamerscore
On the Xbox One, this way of playing has a disadvantage: The gamerscore only increases when you collect as many achievements as possible from as many different games as possible. And many view the gamerscore as a way to compete with other Xbox owners. However, those who play only a few games, but do so very intensively, will end up with a very low gamerscore.
Play style should be identifiable
This is set to change with an upcoming update. Microsoft wants to introduce a way to identify whether someone plays many different titles or only a few, but plays them very frequently. The type of gamer should be apparent through the changes. Every player should be able to show what they are playing and for how long, allowing others to see what kind of player they are. How exactly Microsoft plans to implement this has not yet been revealed. It is also unclear when this achievement update will be released.
The current gamerscore system will not be replaced but supplemented.
However, it seems to be a sensible change that promotes fairness. Because not every gamer plays the same way, and that should also be apparent.

Additionally, a new trailer for PvP in Destiny 2 was released, which caused a lot of confusion. While the D2 beta had a significantly slower pace in PvP compared to Destiny 1 – which was heavily criticized – the trailer now conveys a fast-paced, action-packed image of PvP. Bungie also chose the song “Push the Tempo” as background music.
How PvP will ultimately be, we will find out at the latest by the launch on September 6. But today, on August 11th, the Agent of the Nine is coming. Let us welcome Xur together.
All info about Xur in Destiny on August 11th, 12th, and 13th on PS4 and Xbox One
At 11 AM our time, Xur will appear in the Tower or the Reef. He will then spend a few nice hours, chatting with the passing Guardians and selling them his Exotics. On Sunday, August 13th, he will have had enough by 11 AM and will head home.
Where is Xur? Location today
Xur has his specific positions in the Tower and the Reef where he likes to hang out. He is located in the Tower by the Speaker in front of the big door.

The Doctor from Dead by Daylight has been massively buffed. He is now a dark threat in the horror game!
Last night (08.10.2017) a new update for Dead by Daylight went live. The patch 1.6.2 brought a few bug fixes, but fundamental revisions for the Doctor – probably the most hated killer in Dead by Daylight.
The Doctor was already unpopular at his release. For a long time, he was considered a “noob killer” – as newbies could easily be defeated with him, but it was significantly harder to deal with skilled players. Many of the “annoying” aspects of the Doctor for survivors have now been drastically worsened. He is now a real enemy and madness has actual effects.

The following changes have been made to the Doctor:
Calming down now counts as a form of healing. Therefore, it benefits from perks such as “Botany Knowledge”, but the killer can also take advantage of it through perks like “A Nurse’s Calling”.
Calming down can now trigger skill checks. Failing a skill check cancels the calming and reveals the survivor’s position to the killer.
There is a new insanity effect: Every 20 seconds, a destroyed pallet is replaced by a illusory pallet that only survivors can see. It cannot be used.
When the Doctor switches from Treatment to Punishment (and vice versa), he will no longer be slowed down during the transition.
The following insanity effect is now included in the Doctor’s base kit (and is always active): Survivor skill checks have a 33% / 66% / 100% chance of appearing at a random location on the screen, depending on madness 1 / 2 / 3.
Survivors who have been hit by Shock Therapy cannot perform interactions for 2.5 seconds.
With this, the Doctor is now a serious threat at all player levels and requires a rethinking from survivors. Concentrated staring at the middle of the screen quickly becomes a death trap if the skill check backfires.
The new first-person servers bring a new gameplay experience to PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds. Next, there will be special leaderboards for this.
A first-person view gives games a whole new gameplay experience, which can otherwise only be found in other camera perspectives like the third-person view. This is also the case with PUBG, which initially offered these servers only for solo or duo queues. Now we are one step further, the game offers the view in additional modes and is already planning the next steps.
First-Person Leaderboard on the Way
For fans of the first-person view, special servers have been provided in PUBG where only this view is available. Clearly, those playing against other players in the third-person view quickly have a disadvantage due to less visibility.
At the start, these special servers were available only for solo or duo registration, but now they are available for all game modes on the NA, EU, and Asia servers. But that’s not the end of the story. As the official Twitter account also announced, there will be “later” exclusive leaderboards for first-person players.

The changes are already well received in the community. On Reddit, user OmfgHaxx writes that the community will soon have nothing to complain about. However, this is quickly denied: “Don’t worry, the community always finds something to complain about,” write other users.
To ensure that everything runs more smoothly in your matches, there is now the Week-20-Update. This fixes some bugs and provides better support for PUBG on 6-core processors and higher models. Additionally, the volume of the squeaky tires has been adjusted.
In Destiny 2, Bungie is changing the PvP. The player searches in the different playlists now have different priorities.
The community manager DeeJ published “This Week at Bungie”. After a detailed note that the release of Destiny 2 will occur in less than a month and that they are now on the “last mile to launch”, there is new information about the PvP of Destiny 2.
You are part of the development process
According to DeeJ, games change during development. Every day they grow and get better. And you, the players, are part of this creative development process.
Every time you enter the game – as you did in the “Destiny 2” beta – you are being observed by the developers. They know when you play, how you win, how you lose, and what your opinion is about it. They use this knowledge to elevate the player experience to a higher level.
According to the Crucible design lead Lars Bakken, they learned a lot from the players who entered the Crucible during the beta. Some changes that have already been made will be available in the PC beta of Destiny 2 (start: August 28). One of these concerns matchmaking.
Two different matchmaking settings
The main goal of matchmaking in Destiny 2’s PvP has not changed: they want to deliver fair and fun matches to players. However, the player search in the playlists now has different priorities:
Quickplay: For quickplay matches, the player search should take as little time as possible. Therefore, less weight is placed on skill. This way you can get into a game as quickly as possible, but you may also encounter opponents who are outside your “comfort zone”. Additionally, in Control mode, the required score to win has been raised from 75 to 100, and the mercy rule will now apply later.
Competitive: In the competitive playlist, matchmaking takes a bit more time to match you with opponents who are close to your skill level. Good connection quality is still important. Bungie hopes that the good gameplay experience compensates for the slightly longer wait times. Additionally, there were improvements in Countdown mode to measure skill.
Note: Skill ratings are always used in matchmaking. Whether you start the player search solo or in a fireteam, the average skill rating of the entire team is taken into account in all cases.
Overwatch will soon get a Deathmatch mode. Additionally, there are many buffs for Orisa, Junkrat, Roadhog, and Widowmaker.
Although the Summer Games 2017 in Overwatch are currently in full swing, the developers of the hero shooter have already conjured up the next patch, which is now being tested on the PTR. Update 1.14 brings many changes and even a completely new game mode with a new map: Deathmatch!
About a year ago, the developers said that Deathmatch would not fit Overwatch. Due to a lot of feedback from the community, Blizzard changed its mind and has now completed this mode. It will only be available in the Arcade, but it will come in two variants: Deathmatch (Free For All) and Team Deathmatch (6vs6).
The goal is to accumulate a certain number of kills in both modes to emerge as the winner.

For the mode, many old maps have been slightly modified to provide an exciting stage for the carnage. But there is also a completely new map making its way into the game: Château Guillard. This is Widowmaker’s estate, where she lived when she was still Amelie Guillard (before her marriage).
Buffs for Roadhog, Junkrat, Orisa, and Widowmaker
Junkrat
Junkrat can now have two charges of Remote Detonation Mine.
The movement speed of the Kamikaze tire has been increased by 30%, and the tire can now climb walls infinitely.
Orisa
The projectile speed of her primary weapon has been increased by 20%.
The size of the protective barrier has been increased by 20%. Additionally, the shape of the barrier has been changed so that it also provides better protection downwards (when placed on the payload).
Roadhog
Take a Breather can now be used while moving.
Take a Breather reduces damage taken while healing by 50%.
Widowmaker
The cooldown of the Grappling Hook has been reduced from 12 to 8 seconds.
Enemies affected by the Venom Mine can be seen by Widowmaker through walls.
The PTR is, as usual, only available for the PC version of Overwatch.
What do you think of these changes and the new game mode? Did Overwatch need this?
The next expansion of Hearthstone is just around the corner. Find out here when Knights of the Frozen Throne launches.
The long wait is finally over. The next expansion of Hearthstone, Knights of the Frozen Throne, launches tonight in Europe as well. It offers 3 free packs and a free Death Knight hero at launch. Knights of the Frozen Throne Release Germany
For Europe, the release of Knights of the Frozen Throne is set for 5:00 AM on August 11, 2017 – early in the morning hours. So it’s not worth staying up all night to wait for the release – better play a bit more tomorrow morning.

To bridge the waiting time until the release of Knights of the Frozen Throne, we have compiled some articles for you that prepare perfectly for the latest expansion.
The changes to the classes in Patch 7.3 for World of Warcraft: Legion are currently coming in small doses and are being continuously adjusted. A lot can still change before the release. What is officially known so far has been compiled here.
As the PTR builds are constantly evolving and changing, and feedback from the developer forum is being considered, the changes so far are not complete and also not final.
The adjustments to the classes for WoW 7.3 listed here refer to the officially released posts by the designers and have been translated freely from English. As soon as the German patch notes are available, we will add them, at the latest by the release of WoW Update 7.3.
Death Knight
Frost
The specialization is too heavily dominated by Sindragosa’s Breath, which has significant implications for talent choices in the talent tree. The ability can be maintained for too long. In addition to the strict requirements from talents and legendary items for maintenance, a long, uninterrupted duration near the target is also required. The specialization has many talents and legendary items (individually or collectively) that flood it with resources. Sindragosa’s Breath encourages picking all of them, but is also a problem in itself.
The balance of the talents needs an overall update, especially since they are all being revised at the same time.
All damage is increased by 21%.
Hungry Rune Weapon (Level 58) and Unquenchable Glacier (Level 100) have swapped positions.
The damage of Sindragosa’s Breath is increased by 10%.
There is an attempt to retain the identity of Sindragosa’s Breath, which involves the continuous consumption of Rune Power as a limiting factor. The synergies of talents and legendary items that make Sindragosa’s Breath so powerful are to be restricted, such as the synergy between Hungry Rune Weapon and the Breath. By simultaneously strengthening the ability, it should be prevented from becoming completely useless while other possible setups can catch up.
The following talents are changing their positions:
Murderous Efficiency from Level 56 to Level 57.
Frozen Pulse from Level 57 to Level 90.
Runic Cycle from Level 90 to Level 56.
Additionally, some adjustments are being made to resource regeneration:
Hungry Rune Weapon now lasts for 12 seconds (previously 15) and grants 20% haste.
Bugfix: Hungry Rune Weapon now correctly generates one rune every 1.5 seconds instead of every second.
Murderous Efficiency: The chance to receive a rune has been reduced from 65% to 50%.
Horn of Winter: The cooldown has been increased from 30 to 45 seconds.
The legendary belt Koltira’s Newfound Will now generates one rune (previously 2) and increases the damage of Obliteration by 10%.
With the changes to the positions of the talents, as well as the weakening of damage and resource regeneration, the goal is to allow for a wider selection of talents that still feels good to play.
Icy Claws now grants a bonus of 15% (previously 10).
Shattering Strikes now grants a bonus of 60% (previously 40).
Freezing Fog now grants a bonus of 20% (previously 30).
Obliteration: The duration has been increased to 10 seconds (previously 8).
Frozen Pulse now deals 39% less damage.
Obliteration causes Howling Gale and Frostbolt to grant Killing Machine.
In addition to the previous changes, the talent line for Level 75 is receiving an overhaul:
Permafrost now generates a shield equal to 75% of the damage from auto attacks (previously 30%)
White Wanderer has been reworked to: “Phantom Walk now expires 100% faster when no enemies are within 10 meters.”
New talent: Ruthless Assault (replaces Anti-Magic Feedback): “While you are in combat and there are no enemies within 8 meters of you, you gain one stack of Ruthless Assault every second. Each stack causes your next auto attack (100% of attack power) to deal additional frost damage.” (Author’s note: On the PTR itself, Ruthless Assault replaced White Wanderer instead of Anti-Magic Feedback. Anti-Magic Feedback now absorbs 35% more damage and generates 100% more rune power, instead of reflecting 25% of the damage back and generating no rune power.)
With these changes, the specialization should be given the opportunity to compensate for its lack of mobility, which has heavily disadvantaged it compared to many other melee fighters. The most significant and numerous changes have been made to Frost Death Knight, highlighting the major issues it has in the current content. According to some forum testers’ posts, however, the changes have already had some positive effects. The specialization seems to be on a good path to improvement. Nevertheless, progress is rather slow.
Druid
Feral
All damage dealt is increased by 33%
Rending now deals the same damage in 20% less time (previously 33%).
The cooldown of Savage Roar has been increased by 50%. The damage bonus has been reduced to 15% (previously 25%).
The damage bonus from Bite has been reduced to 25% (previously 50%). Additionally, the effect is now triggered by the use of Rampant Roots.
Since the three talents being adjusted have been the strongest for Feral Druid so far, these adjustments also aim to allow for other playstyles while punishing mistakes less severely.
Additionally, some talents are changing their positions:
Rending from Level 90 to Level 75.
Savage Roar from Level 75 to Level 90.
Brutal Slash from Level 100 to Level 90.
Elune’s Guidance from Level 90 to Level 100.
This change aims to shift Brutal Slash into a line with AoE talents along with Saber Tooth, providing a solid choice for dungeons. At the same time, Rending, Savage Roar, and Bite should remain in different lines to maintain the currently popular playstyle.
Some additional, smaller changes aim to improve the gameplay feeling and balance:
The cooldown of Prowl has been reduced to 6 seconds for all specializations (previously 10).
Rebirth can now be cast in all forms and is no longer influenced by Catlike Speed, nor does it consume the spell.
The bonus damage provided by Saber Tooth to Ferocious Bite has been increased by 20%.
The reduction of energy costs for Incarnation: King of the Jungle has been reduced from 60% to 50% and allows the use of Prowl only once.
Moment of Clarity causes Omen of Clarity to trigger twice as often and increases the damage of affected abilities by 25%. Additionally, the spell is now stackable twice.
The cooldown of Elune’s Guidance has been reduced to 30 seconds (previously 45) and the generated combo points have been reduced to 5 + 5 over 5 seconds (previously 5 + 8 over 8 seconds).
Claw now generates one combo point.
The energy costs for Claw and Rake have been reduced by 5 (to 45 and 40, respectively).
Mage
Frost
Bug fixes:
Frozen Orb should now be affected by Shatter.
The damage of Shadowbolt can now trigger on-use effects.
The damage from Shadowbolt and Hail now does not create a second entry in the combat log.
Frozen Rain now lasts for 12 seconds, unaffected by haste rating.
There are more changes that wowhead has compiled here. These refer to the changes found in the PTR at the time of the article, which, like everything described, are continuously changing in order to find the right balance.
