Black Desert Online will receive a new PvE mode tomorrow, on August 30, 2017. “Savage Rift” will be a so-called “Horde Mode” where you have to fight through increasingly larger waves of enemies and survive as long as possible.
A new PvE game mode is on the way in Black Desert Online. Instead of just grinding or clearing dungeons, you will soon have the chance to try out a fun new Horde Mode.
Black Desert Online – Gameplay – Endure and Grab Items
The new Horde Mode is called “Savage Rift” and will be available for the US and Europe version of Black Desert Online already on August 30, 2017. In Savage Rift, you can expect the following content and challenges:
8 to 10 players will compete
You must have reached at least level 56
You defend a tower against a total of 25 waves of enemies that become increasingly stronger and more numerous with each wave.
At the end, a mighty field boss awaits you
Each time you survive a wave, you earn points that you can invest in defensive mechanisms such as traps, turrets, and walls. This improves your survival in the next attack. Additionally, using such items nets you even more points for victory.
Those who endure until the end can look forward to particularly cool loot.
PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds is played by an extremely high number of players eagerly. But where do all the enthusiastic battle royale shooter fans come from and which game is currently suffering from a massive player drop?
But one question remains open: Where do all the fans of PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds come from? Are these all new players or have they migrated from somewhere else?
According to the Steam analytics site Steamspy, the answer is clear. Counter-Strike: Global Offensive (CS:GO) is the main source of new players for PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds:
55 percent of PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds players also play CS:GO.
These CS:GO players were on average 50 percent more engaged in Counter-Strike before the release of PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds compared to the majority of other CS:GO players.
Now they are playing 30 percent less CS:GO overall because they are spending time in PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds.
55% of PUBG owners are CS:GO players. They used to play CS:GO 50% more than an average person, now they play 30% less.
PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds is also encroaching significantly on the territory of CS:GO and is attracting the most engaged players over there. According to the comments under the Steam Spy tweet on Twitter, this is mainly due to:
The similar shooter gameplay (Once you die, you’re out)
CS:GO hasn’t had any major updates for a long time, while there’s always something new in PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds
PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds is equally fun for hardcore gamers and casuals
PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds – Especially popular among Chinese, Americans, and Germans
Also interesting: The direct battle royale competitor H1Z1: King of the Kill had to concede players to PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds. Additionally, the less enthusiastic players of Payday 2 and Left4Dead 2 also flocked away and landed in PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds. One reason for this could be PUBG’s better shooter gameplay.
Steamspy also has an answer to the origin of all these players from PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds. According to Steamspy, most of them come from China, the USA, and Germany. The exciting open-world battle royale gameplay seems to fit the German ideal of deserving success after hard work.
In Destiny 2, you should also have an incentive to collect XP beyond the level cap. Because for XP, you will receive white Engrams (Shiny Engrams)!
In Destiny 2, you will need experience points (XP) to level up, just like in Destiny 1. You get this XP whenever you defeat enemies or complete challenges.
However, at some point you will reach the level cap, the maximum level. Then you no longer need experience points to level up. What is the point of XP then?
In Destiny 1, you could collect XP beyond the level cap to fill an XP bar. When this bar was full, you received Light particles. In Destiny 2, there is a different reward for that: White Engrams, which are called “Shiny Engrams”.
Bright Engrams and Prestigious Gear
Gaming sites like IGN and Gameinformer have been able to thoroughly explore the European Dead Zone of Destiny 2 and discover things that were previously unknown.
Thus, “Bright Engrams” have been sighted, representing “bright” or “radiant” Engrams, depicted with a white Engram symbol:
These Engrams are introduced as follows: You receive Bright Engrams by leveling up. They contain items with which you can customize your character. Tess Everis can decrypt them – Tess is the woman from the “Eververse” in Destiny 1.
In other words, these white Engrams contain exclusively cosmetic items, with which you can personalize your Guardians.
According to IGN, you also receive these special Engrams after reaching the level cap when you fill the XP bar. They are intended to create an additional incentive to continue playing in the endgame.
Presumably, you will also be able to purchase the white Engrams from Tess Everis if she is the contact person for that. However, this has not been confirmed. Which cosmetic items are included is also still unknown. Presumably shaders, sparrows, ghost shells, etc.
Additionally: In this screenshot, you can see that the white Engrams can apparently also be obtained through activities like Flashpoints. Here the reward “Prestigious Gear” is mentioned, which means “Prestige Gear”. The symbol is identical to that of the white Engrams.
No team kills, smaller maps, and better textures – Friday the 13th: The Game addresses many issues.
Since its launch, Friday the 13th: The Game has been plagued by several issues across all platforms (PS4, Xbox One, and PC). The developers took such a long time for the patches that players sometimes thought the game had been “dropped” right after launch and that they were working on the next title. However, this does not seem to be the case. A new patch is now live and has brought numerous changes aimed at improving gameplay and performance.
Campers may not like each other – whether they want to or not
Many players, who previously had to deal with the killer Jason, but with other campers, can now breathe a sigh of relief. In public matches, it is no longer possible to kill other campers. While it is still possible to harm allies by running them over with a car, almost all other sources (such as weapons) can no longer be used against the campers. As a result, trolling in the game should be somewhat limited.
Another important point is the size of the maps. Many players felt they were too spacious and often could completely avoid encounters with the killer. This will change moving forward, as the size of all maps has been reduced by about 40%. This means more encounters between campers and Jason; however, the key locations on each map are now closer together. The goal seems to be more interaction between the two parties.
Aside from the larger changes mentioned above, there are also many small improvements. For example, the resolution of the textures on Xbox One has been increased, leading to better graphical representations overall. Additionally, many kills that could not previously be executed correctly in various locations have been fixed.
These are the real killers!
Now is the perfect time to take another look at the horror slasher and ban a few campers into the depths of Crystal Lake … or die miserably in the attempt to escape the killer.
There are rumors about a large AAA RPG related to Game of Thrones. Bethesda might be planning this as one of two new top games that could rival the size of Skyrim or Fallout.
Currently, there is a delicious rumor circulating that seems quite credible. One advantage: Whether it’s true or not, we should find out soon.
Bethesda is working on two major new titles
We know that Bethesda is currently planning two “large, new titles” that are supposed to be released before “The Elder Scrolls VI.” However, we do not know what exactly this entails. Neither at E3 2017 nor at Gamescom were major titles presented, instead, there were only new versions of Skyrim, which some people online have found quite amusing.
However, there are already quite clear indications of what these games might be:
Firstly, the sci-fi RPG “Starfield,” for which Bethesda has already secured the title, and there are relatively credible leaks regarding it.
Some hope that the Game-of-Thrones game could be introduced today, during the last episode of the seventh season of the TV series “Game of Thrones,” with a commercial.
These are supposed to be games that are somewhat different from what Bethesda is known for, but still be the kind that makes you say afterward: “Alright, that fits them.” So far, nothing has been heard about either game, and it could soon be time for the titles to go public.

If Game of Thrones comes from Bethesda, it will probably only be as the “next game” after Starfield and likely after the end of the TV series Game of Thrones. It is assumed that the final season may not air until 2019.
Update 29.8.:As Forbes reports, a spokesperson from Target has distanced themselves from this “product page” related to Bethesda: Game of Thrones. They called it a “hoax,” a joke. They do not specify by whom. Target apologizes if this prank caused confusion.
The rumor about Starfield and Game of Thrones remains persistent, and has now been reignited:
The Free2Play MMO Skyforge has been around for a while on PS4 and at Gamescom 2017, we were able to see the quality of the gamepad controls for ourselves. Additionally, we were allowed to take a look at the new Revenant class.
Skyforge is a fast-paced action MMORPG that also runs on the PlayStation 4. Since I always like to try how familiar MMOs play with a gamepad, I visited the My.com booth at Gamescom 2017. There, I not only had the console version of Skyforge waiting for me, but also a new class called Revenant, which is supposed to be released on September 19th.
Skyforge – Revenant as the new badass hero
Before we kicked off, the folks at My.com showed me a cool trailer for the new class in Skyforge. It featured the Revenant, a dark knight in heavy armor who fights with a giant axe. He also uses dark magic to drain the life from his enemies.

In the intro video, he demolishes a horde of rat-like creatures and their leader with his axe and magic. Of course, I want to play this new class! Shortly thereafter, a PlayStation 4 runs, and I start as a hulking Revenant in a barren desert region.
Revenant – Off-Tank and DPS Machine
The look of the Revenant class is already impressive. The dark warrior is heavily armored, and his armor is covered with mouths and teeth. When he stomps towards the enemy with unstoppable, slow steps, it can be quite terrifying.
However, the developers have exaggerated a bit with the cool sluggishness, as the Revenant hits hard, but takes forever. By the time the bulky fighter raises his giant axe and brings it down like an executioner’s blade on innocent creatures, an eternity passes. Additionally, with each particularly devastating attack, a cool but quite confusing animation plays that includes a camera swing around the Revenant.
“This will most likely be changed,” says one of the present staff members. The Revenant is also supposed to be reworked so that he plays a bit more dynamically and less sluggishly. Nevertheless, I found the look of the new hero appealing, and with his armor, hefty damage output, and self-healing ability, he could perform well as a DPS or Off-Tank.
Skyforge – Way cooler with a gamepad!
While the Revenant will likely become a good hero with a little extra love and care, the other classes in Skyforge are already much further along and are a lot of fun. To conclude my demo session, I happily cycled through all the classes (in Skyforge you can switch classes at any time) and tried out the gamepad controls.
In particular, the ranged classes were a joy. The Gunner was already extremely cool with his big multi-purpose cannon. But the one that rocks the most in my opinion is the Outlaw, a kind of cowboy gunslinger with pistols. His fast-paced “Run&Gun” gameplay works fantastically well with the gamepad.
The Dance with the Cannon
One skill allows the Outlaw to dance around like an ecstatic cannon dervish, while he sadistically dishes out damage and shoots everything in the vicinity. The skill was so cool animated that every time, everyone present had a broad smile on their lips when I invited a few enemies to a “Cannon Tango” again.
So, if you enjoy fast-paced action with perfect gamepad controls, you can’t go wrong with Skyforge.
My goodness, this is so much fun! Especially with the agile classes like the Outlaw, the console version of Skyforge is a top game. The gamepad controls are simply a lot of fun. Even a PC purist and gamepad rejector like me is weak for it.
Unfortunately, the Revenant was not quite in shape at Gamescom, but if the developers enhance the new hero a bit before the launch on September 19th and speed up his animations, the bulky melee beast should fit well into the hero repertoire of Skyforge. I’m certainly looking forward to it!
The best armor in PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds is a cast-iron frying pan that effectively protects your behind. But would such a pan also save your ass in real life? A YouTuber put it to the test and shot real guns at pans!
But what about in real life? Should soldiers and police officers in real-life in the future prefer pans instead of the usual Kevlar vests and ceramic plates? A YouTuber tried it out and put it to the test!
PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds – The Experiment – Are frying pans really bulletproof?
The YouTuber behind the channel Logical Increments wanted to know if frying pans really stop bullets from pistols and rifles. Therefore, he obtained the following items in real life:
A brand-new cast-iron frying pan
A watermelon with a painted face
A .45 P1911 pistol
A 9mm P92 pistol
A 7.92mm Kar98k rifle
The aforementioned guns can all be found in PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds. Therefore, they are all good test subjects. To test the protective effect of the frying pan, the YouTuber placed the watermelon behind the pan and shot at it from close range with the respective gun. If a bullet penetrated the pan and damaged the melon, the frying pan myth would be debunked.

Foxhole has been in Early Access on the gaming platform Steam for about a month now and promises battles with over 500 men on several expansive maps that are constantly changing due to player actions. Our author Dennis has taken a closer look at the game and must say after a few hours: The concept is really interesting, even if he still hasn’t quite figured it out.
Currently, there are shooters like sand on the beach, yet some game developers are trying to bring something new to the table and showcase new gameplay mechanics. With Foxhole, another tactical shooter starts and mixes action-packed battles with strategic elements. Additionally, you can practically do whatever you want in the game.
What is Foxhole actually?
Foxhole is a MMO shooter where you control your soldier in an isometric perspective – meaning from above. On the servers, up to 120 soldiers are controlled by players. But that’s not all: In a special campaign, multiple servers fight on multiple maps for supremacy. It can happen that over 500 players are present on the battlefields. Foxhole reminds me of a sandbox game because you can practically do whatever you want.
Will you manufacture weapons and help build walls and defenses, or would you rather play the chauffeur who transports team members to the areas of operation? You can also act as a foot soldier and give the enemy players a hard time. The battles are fought on a vast map where every action influences the war.
Gameplay – Action and Tactics with a Touch of Sandbox
Foxhole plays out like a top-down shooter, similar to games like “Hotline Miami”. Here you control your soldier from above and navigate him across the battlefield. The control is typical for a shooter, using the “WASD” keys to move your character while aiming and firing with the mouse. Whether you rush to the front or proceed more tactically is up to you. If you prefer to charge in, you should be cautious, as ammunition is scarce in Foxhole.
That’s why here you should drink more aim potion instead of wildly wasting bullets. If you prefer to act from the backlines and want to experience the tactical side of the game, you can spend your time gathering resources and building walls and defensive structures. Sometimes Foxhole feels like a sandbox title to me because everyone can choose how they want to contribute to the war. You can shoot or build. Or you can spend time like I did, just going back and forth and getting to know the corners of the map better.
Foxhole: My First Gaming Minutes
Once you have chosen a suitable server, you can choose between two factions. After that, you can use a spawn point. These points are usually close to a town hall or an outpost. Here you should first build a weapon with the click of the E key so you don’t end up as cannon fodder right away. After I crafted my weapon, a teammate of mine came around the corner with a big transporter. I got in and drove with the remaining soldiers to the front line. Here you can already tell that Foxhole is a team-based shooter because you won’t get far alone.
Imagine It’s War and No One Knows How to Get There…
If you decide to transport players back and forth, you should always lock the car when leaving, because otherwise another player will usually take the vehicle and drive off to never be seen again. Once you arrive at the outpost, you still have the option to craft a suitable weapon near a camp, provided you have the materials for it. Quickly conjure a submachine gun and off to the action. At least that’s what I imagined; in reality, I was just hitching a ride back and forth and didn’t know what I was supposed to do.
Here, the developer should definitely incorporate a comprehensive tutorial because most players want guidance when getting started. You either have to figure it out or hope for the help of an experienced player.
Teamplay is Everything in Foxhole
Foxhole is a shooter where playing in a team is crucial. Solo players are not well-received here, and you quickly notice this in the chat. The players are passionate about it and give 100 percent effort to lead their faction to victory. I, for instance, didn’t know what was happening to me at first and was simply shot down.
Here, you really need to engage with your team and discuss strategies and approaches. To avoid doing this cumbersome in chat, Foxhole offers the ability to communicate with your comrades via voice chat using Discord.
Dive into the Action or Prefer to Handle Logistics?
When you are new to the game, the question arises about what exactly you want to do. It’s important to gather resources and transport them to the various outposts to supply them. Sometimes the game feels like a logistics simulator because without resources or “dough”, nothing happens. Once you are stocked with enough materials, you can get going. Do you want to fight at the front and decimate enemy soldiers with your cannon, or do you prefer to be the builder and construct walls and defenses? Foxhole shines with its sandbox elements as there are many options to choose from and you can approach things differently.
Conclusion: Lacking a Tutorial – You Are Quite Overwhelmed at First
My first gaming hours were quite pleasant, even if I didn’t know exactly what I was supposed to do. The developer should definitely add a comprehensive tutorial to guide players on the right path, or else you’ll end up like me, driving trucks for hours. But once you get the hang of it, Foxhole rewards you with an intense and extremely team-based gaming experience. The shooter is one of those games that you must play extensively and get to know in order to unleash its full potential.

Foxhole is currently in Early Access but already offers a lot for this stage. I can overlook minor bugs like getting stuck on some objects or some translation errors. It is currently available in the Steam store for 20 Euros and has already shown a growing player base. So if you don’t mind diving in and the steep learning curve, you should definitely check out the game.
Bungie receives a lot of praise for the PC beta of Destiny 2 . As a Destiny veteran on PS4 and Xbox One, one feels a bit envious.
Last night, the beta for Destiny 2 on PC started and surprise: most players love the beta. They are full of praise. Hardly any issues, technically flawless, graphics fantastic, gameplay great – a superb port from console to PC.
In the heart of the Destiny community, on Reddit, there are threads like:
Even now, not everything is sunshine and rainbows in Destiny-land. Apparently, some PS4 and Xbox One veterans are annoyed that PC players are doing so well now. Moderators frequently have to intervene and state that the subreddit is for everyone and is platform-independent. There is no place for platform-hostile remarks.
Even in the comments on our articles and in our social media, the atmosphere is similar to that in English-speaking Reddit. Many new guardians, to whom Destiny has finally been made accessible on PC, are thrilled with the gameplay and the graphics.
A larger part of the community is happy that the PC beta is being received so well and attracting new players to Destiny 2. A smaller part is somewhat annoyed with Bungie that so much fuss is being made about PC players now. They believe that PS4 and Xbox One made Destiny great and should also be recognized. Especially the comment about PC players as “first-class citizens” seems to have struck some the wrong way. What was meant as “we treat PC players equally” was interpreted as “we prefer PC players”.
PS4 and Xbox One players are attached to their console, but even more to their friends
Some players on PS4 and Xbox One seem to be struggling with the fact that the PC version is technically superior. A switch is only an option for a few Destiny veterans:
Some are hesitant to buy a new computer.
Others simply prefer playing on the console on the couch rather than at a “desktop.”.
Most, however, want to stay on their console because of their friends. They would only switch if they could persuade their buddies to come along.
The Open Beta of the Diablo-like hack and slash MU Legend for Europe and North America has been postponed at the last moment. Instead of starting in September 2017, it will now begin in November. As a reason, developer Webzen states that they want to make it as good as possible. Good things take time.
Now September is approaching, and with it the Open Beta, at a rapid pace. Publisher Webzen needs to hit the brakes.
Mu Legend – Open Beta now November 2017
A press release states: Everything is put on hold. We need more time.
The new date for the Open Beta of Mu Legend is November 2017.
This is all the more frustrating because the “Open Beta” was supposed to be a soft launch. There would not have been a wipe afterward, and the game would have basically already launched in the West.
Better to take time than to rush
As an explanation, Webzen states that they need the time to process and incorporate player feedback from the Korean version. They want to rearrange some features and also address the balance again. This leads to a change in the roadmap and thus to the delay of 3 months.
They tell fans: “Guys, you have been waiting for so long. We now ask you to wait just three months longer.” They love the game and want to do everything to make the best out of it.
They prefer to take their time rather than rush it now and jeopardize the quality of MU Legend.
ARK Survival Evolved (PC, PS4, Xbox One) is leaving Early Access today, August 29th, and transitioning to Full Release. During this time, the servers will be down for a while, and 33% of them are on a kill list – they will be removed from the game. We explain how Studio Wildcard has planned the release.
Today, August 29th, ARK Survival Evolved is entering Full Release and will thus be a “finished” game. The survival MMO was released on Steam in May 2015 and became a surprising mega hit. In December 2015, ARK entered Early Access on Xbox One, last year in December 2016, ARK Survival Evolved came to PS4.
Xbox players will have this option as soon as rentable servers are available to them as well. This is expected to happen in September, according to Wildcard’s estimates.
Have you been with ARK Survival Evolved for a long time, or are you going to start now with the Full Release?
Here we have prepared a collection of guides that will help you get started in ARK:
For those who want to fight online with other players in an extraordinary scenario, Absolver offers the opportunity starting today. Here is the launch trailer.
Absolver places you in the ruins of the destroyed Adal Empires. You awaken wearing a mysterious mask on your face and can barely remember your past. The mask frees you from hunger and thirst and even protects you from death. You wear it because you must prove yourself in battles – to show the mysterious Guides, the rulers of the land, that you have what it takes to rise in the ranks of an Absolver.
Collect better equipment and learn new combat techniques
You traverse the devastated land and encounter others who also wear this mask. In quick battles, you fight against them and learn new combat techniques while also obtaining better equipment – including weapons and armor. It is also possible to meet players who ally with you and fight side by side in the arenas.
Tactical and fast
Exciting, fast, yet tactical battles are at the center of Absolver. You must wisely use your skills and equipment to claim victory.
How this plays, you can find out starting today, August 29. Absolver will be distributed via Steam and the PlayStation Store. A launch trailer prepares you for the fast-paced combat.

A new trailer for Destiny 2 has been released. This shows you what Destiny 2 really is.
Many players are asking the question “What is Destiny 2?” these days. Currently, the PC beta of Destiny 2 is running, which is also attracting attention from people who have never interacted with Destiny before. After all, Destiny was console-exclusive for three years. Only with Destiny 2 does the MMO shooter make its move to PC.
The question of what makes Destiny 2 is not easy to answer – especially not in one or two sentences. Therefore, Bungie has now released a trailer, in which you are shown in one and a half minutes what Destiny 2 is. We have embedded it for you above.
This is Destiny 2!
The quite entertaining trailer presents the basics of Destiny 2:
It is an action shooter
There is a comprehensive story, in which you fight against the Cabal’s Red Legion. They have attacked the last city of humanity.
You can customize your gear, weapons, and character.
And there are new worlds to explore.
However, this information from the trailer only scratches the surface of what makes Destiny 2. If you want detailed information about the game, we recommend our guides:
In PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds some players band together in identical uniforms to form larger squads. One player took advantage of this, infiltrated such a giant group, and eliminated everyone at the right moment!
In PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds you can only go hunting in squad mode with a maximum of three other players. However, this does not prevent clever players from eliminating enemies in large hordes. They just wear identical clothes for better recognition and communicate via voice chat like Discord or Teamspeak.
Such uniformed packs are a real danger for less organized players, but they also have a decisive disadvantage.
PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds – Revenge on the Redshirts
A Korean streamer named ther01231 and his squadmates thought nothing bad when suddenly a horde of players in red shirts attacked them, slaughtering everyone except the mentioned streamer. Alone and on his own, the Korean vowed bitter revenge, but how could he come against the overpowering “Redshirts”?
With cunning and trickery! The streamer simply put on a red shirt and joined the Redshirt pack. The enemies noticed nothing, and the streamer could follow them for some time.
PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds – 7 Kills in a Few Seconds
When the Redshirts then gathered in a suitable tight space, he struck! He threw a grenade in front of the stunned faces of the enemies, taking out 5 Redshirts. The remaining two red shirts were then lovingly cleared away with the shotgun.

Ther01231 was able to avenge his squadmates and completely eliminate the Redshirt group. However, he was also not granted victory. He made it into the last 20 players but was then shot by a nasty sniper from behind.
Nevertheless, his action was remarkable and another proof of the crazy stories a large open-world battle royale shooter like PUBG can create.
Something exciting is happening tomorrow! Are there any updates on Update 1.8 of The Division?
Strange things happened last weekend in The Division. The official Twitter account of the game
posted various codes, which are likely to represent coordinates in the game and hint at story missions,
changed the cover image every few hours – the faction symbols were displayed on it,
and posted images of enemy factions along with quotes that apparently come from the enemies.
It seemed that the factions had taken over the Twitter channel, as if insider information from the factions was leaking to the public via the Twitter channel.
What did the Twitter channel post?
The tweets all suggest that the factions want to unite to defeat the Division agents together. The quotes indicate that it is now time to show the Division who truly rules over New York. That the enemy of my enemy is my friend and that the Division prevents the factions from achieving their success. With this speculation that the factions are about to unite against us, we already discussed last Sunday.
In the community, there is speculation that these mysterious tweets indicate a future update. Most likely Update 1.8. However, there are also opinions that this could be about The Division 2, as Massive has never organized such “community puzzles” or teased upcoming content in this way before. It is also possible that this is just a teaser for the next Global Event.
On August 30, we will likely know more
In the meantime, the Twitter channel looks “normal” again. The symbol of the Division is prominently displayed in the cover image. Moreover, Massive posted: “Backup activated. System rebooted. Signal source is being tracked.”
The last post occurred yesterday evening at 6 PM. The source of the signal is still unknown. The search is being expanded. And it is assumed that an answer will be available in 48 hours.
This means that tomorrow, on August 30 at 6 PM, we will likely finally learn what this puzzle is about. According to a rather dubious “leak” on reddit, a trailer for Update 1.8 is supposed to be released at this time, in which Agent Keener speaks to the factions to unite them against the Division. However, this “leak” is just a summary of what has been speculated on reddit in recent days.
We will see what happens tomorrow at 6 PM. We will report on it promptly.

The promising MMORPG Ashes of Creation is making great progress. Now a video has been shown that presents the battles and brings a special feature.
Many MMORPGs use a passive combat system. Players target an enemy and then press the button for the attack type, which is then executed automatically. This combat system has proven effective in MMORPGs as it is tactical, does not require skill from the players, and still works even with lag.
However, over time, the battles can also become a bit boring. If you are just yawning in front of the monitor, pressing 1, 2, 3 in turn and watching your character execute the attacks, you sometimes wish for a more action-packed system.
Attention and skill are important in battles
Ashes of Creation aims to spice up this tab-targeting combat system, as shown in a recent video. Essentially, the battles run similarly to other MMORPGs. You select the target and then your attack type, which is executed based on cooldown.
However, when you activate the attack, a bar appears on the screen. This bar has a marked spot, and a pointer rushes from left to right. If you click at the right moment, so that the pointer stops exactly within the marking, you receive a type of bonus on the attack. This should keep the battles interesting.
New version at PAX West
Moreover, the developers of the MMO introduced new creatures and talked about the power of the characters. This is a value calculated from the equipped gear, the stats, and the skills. A PvP arena was also shown where you can compete against other players in the game.
At the beginning of September, Ashes of Creation will be playable at the PAX West game fair. The developers are working hard to be able to present an exciting version that already contains many elements of the finished MMORPG. Both PvE and PvP content will be shown.

In response to a player’s complaint, Jeff Kaplan from the Overwatch team lays out the facts. In internet language, someone was professionally “roasted”.
The account suspensions and bans in Overwatch seem to be having an effect. Time and again, disruptive players are getting banned and excluded from the game. However, not everyone is satisfied with their ban, and some express their frustration on the official forum.
One such player is Ceaya, who loudly complained that he was banned for “disruptive gameplay” and that in “Quickplay”. He was particularly angry about this and is convinced that the reports from players are not even checked. The whole system is automatic and therefore susceptible to exploitation.
However, Ceaya probably did not expect that Jeff Kaplan, the Game Director of Overwatch, sometimes personally addresses such issues and began to list the actual facts in a factual manner.
Wrestle with Jeff, Prepare for Death.
More than 2000 complaints on one account
Accordingly, they checked the IP address of the account from which Ceaya had posted in the forum and found an account that had a pretty long record of offenses.
The account has 2247 complaints
The account was punished with 9216 hours of silence – meaning he could not chat. That’s a whopping 384 days and a significant portion of the time since Overwatch was released
The account was banned from playing 3 times
In total, 7 times a silence penalty was imposed due to insults and spam
The account was additionally banned directly by a GM due to “severe griefing”
Thus, Ceaya is the owner of one of the “worst accounts that Blizzard has ever seen.”
Jeff Kaplan is “not entirely sure if this is really the account he is talking about, but it is definitely not an ideal teammate in Overwatch.”
If this is not his account, then he should please tell Kaplan his BattleTag. Because the last thing you want is for “good, honest members of the community to be unfairly punished”.
Kaplan received praise for this reaction both on Reddit and in the official forum, and Ceaya has not (yet) responded further.
And once again it shows that dinoflask was right with his wisdom: Wrestle with Jeff, prepare for death.
In Destiny 2, we show you how to play the PC version in German and how to hide your real name in chat. You don’t have to show your real name.
The closed beta of Destiny 2 started yesterday, on August 28th. After many Guardians struggled for about half an hour with the Saxophone error code, they were able to dive into the fight against the Red Legion for the first time using mouse and keyboard.
Many players encountered a few “inconveniences.” The beta is set to run in English by default, and your “real name,” the clear name, is displayed in chat. How can you change this?
How to set the PC beta of Destiny 2 to German
There were no language issues with the console beta. It launched directly in German here. However, for the PC beta, you need to take action yourself if you want to experience the game in German.
Open the Blizzard app and select the “Destiny 2” tab on the left side. Now click not on Play, but first on Options. You can find the options directly under the “Destiny 2” logo next to “Redeem code.”
In the options, click on “Game Settings,” where you can choose between several languages for text and audio, including German. Now just click on “Done” and start Destiny 2. Now the beta is in German.
Hide clear names and switch to BattleTag
Your real name is displayed in the chat of the “Destiny 2” beta. If you don’t want that, you can hide it and switch to your BattleTag name.
To do this, start the beta, log in, and go to the menu (with ESC). Then click on “Open Settings,” then on Gameplay, and there you will find the option to hide your real name.
The third generation has yet to appear in Pokémon GO. Still, it is worth starting to collect candies for Generation 4 now. We explain why in this guide.
This means a few Pokémon will come into the game that are evolutions or pre-evolutions of already existing species. In Pokémon GO, you give your Pokémon candies to make them stronger, level them up, and evolve them. You receive candies by catching wild Pokémon, but they only eat candies of their own type.
However, it is recommended to start collecting candies from Generation 1 and 2 diligently now – but not for Generation 3, rather for Generation 4!
The starter Pokémon of Generation 4 – Plinfa, Panflam & Chelast
Collect candies for Generation 4 before the grind becomes too cumbersome
With Generation 3, a total of 135 new Pokémon will be added to the game. This increases the total number of Pokémon from 251 to 386. The more different Pokémon there are in the game, the rarer the Pokémon of a specific species will appear.
The spawn rate of Pokémon from the first and second generation will decrease as soon as the third generation appears. That is why you should quickly start collecting the candies of the existing generations now.
In Generation 4, there are 17 evolutions and 5 baby Pokémon that are based on Generation 1 and 2. Once Generation 4 is in the game, we will have a total of 493 Pokémon in the game. If you then only need one more candy to get your Togekiss, it will be quite frustrating to get that one candy with all the Pokémon around.
If you want a somewhat more relaxed grind, it is better to start collecting candies today than tomorrow.
Baby Pokémon from Generation 3
In Generation 3, there are a total of two babies that are based on the second generation.
Azurill – evolves into Marill and Azumarill
Isso – evolves into Woingenau
Baby Pokémon from Generation 4
In Generation 4, there are a total of five babies that are based on the second generation.
Wonneira – evolves into Chaneira and Heiteira
Pantimimi – evolves into Pantimos
Mantyke – evolves into Mantax
Mampfaxo – evolves into Relaxo
Mobai – evolves into Mogelbaum
Pokémon that evolve into Generation 4 – Based on Generation 1 and 2
In total, you will find 17 Pokémon in Generation 4 that evolve from Pokémon of the first and second generation. Save candies for the following Pokémon.
