Destiny 2 launched a few days ago without the integration of the clan features, which bring rewards for playing together and are immensely important for the Guided Games. Bungie activated this feature on Friday evening.

Clans not only give you the opportunity to form groups, but they also serve primarily as a framework for the so-called Guided Games. Since Tuesday, Destiny 2 has been playable – but without the clan features. Bungie has just released this feature.

Clan Progress and Rewards for Playing Together

Specifically, the clan progress has been activated. Here you will find a neat list of all activities you can take on within a clan, such as

• The Nightfall Strike
• The Raid
• The Trials of Osiris.

To see the clan features and progress, you must log out and log back in once. To earn experience points for your clan, at least two Guardians of a clan must belong to the fireteam.

Now the Clan Banner Works in Destiny 2

You also need a clan banner in your inventory. This position was previously locked and inaccessible. You will receive the clan banner from Hawthorne as soon as you have joined a clan.

Now you can earn experience points for your clan and level up to claim rewards. Weekly experience gain resets with the weekly reset. Rewards such as special clan engrams can be tackled weekly.

For the so-called Guided Games, there is a display in the game called “Guardian Oath.” Bungie wants to find clans that, based on their gameplay and interaction, are well-suited for Guided Games. It will be monitored whether activities are started and finished together.

Guardians in Destiny 2 are on the hunt for the best loot! The power level needs to be increased, and the Guardian needs to be optimized.

In this “pursuit of power,” there is no way around the exotics.

The exotic items are objects of the highest quality. They can be recognized by the yellow item symbol background, as seen here with the exotic hand cannon Sturm:

You can either receive exotics guaranteed by completing certain missions or quests, or you get random exotics from exotic engrams. These engrams are yellow – and hard to obtain.

Farming exotic engrams – You can find them in these activities

During the campaign, you will already come across one or two exotics. However, your first guaranteed exotic engram is only available at the end of the campaign. Many players are now asking the question: Where do I get more exotic engrams?

The Guardians on Reddit have already compiled some sources for exotic engrams:

• Public Events – normal and heroic
• Crucible: After PvP matches
• Strikes / Nightfall Strikes – Exotic engrams have been spotted in these PvE activities
• Cayde’s treasure maps – can be purchased from him after the campaign for 4800 Glimmer
• Additionally, strong enemies with yellow health bars may drop the engrams.

For all sources, the chance of exotic engrams is very low.

Keep in mind that this is not an official list for exotic engrams. It is based on user reports. In the future, we will certainly adjust the list, as there will likely be exotic loot in the raid starting on September 13. And what Xur will specifically bring, we will only see in the future.

Farming method for exotic engrams in Destiny 2?

Currently, we do not have a farming method that will get you exotic engrams quickly. Because they drop randomly and extremely rarely. If you want to farm them specifically, you need to invest a lot of time.

So far, public events have proven to be a good method. You can complete these in just a few minutes and efficiently grab the possible exotic loot. Always keep an eye on the map in your navigator. There you can see when and where public events start.

Once you have engrams, you can take them to Tyra Karn or Master Rahool – to the Cryptarchs.

Get Sturm und Drang in Destiny 2 – You will receive the exotic weapon Sturm through an Exotic Quest, through which you will also find the legendary pistol Drang. Guide to the quest “Relics of the Golden Age”.

“Sturm und Drang” not only refers to a movement in German literature in the 18th century – the terms also represent weapons in the MMO shooter Destiny 2.

To obtain the exotic hand cannon Sturm, you first need the legendary pistol Drang. We will show you how to get both.

Get Drang in Destiny 2 – Quest

Before you can wrap your arms around Sturm und Drang, you must first complete the story campaign of Destiny 2. Because after the campaign, quests will be unlocked in all four worlds, marked with a crown symbol on a blue background.

To obtain the pistol Drang, you need to start the quest line “Exodus Black” on Nessus. You need to complete a mission for Failsafe. The recommended power level is 200. Just follow the quest step instructions. In the end, you will receive the pistol Drang and a note.

Drang is a legendary pistol in the energy weapon slot. It deals solar damage. Its special ability is that kills with this weapon refill the magazine of Sturm. Thus, there are synergy effects between Sturm and Drang.

How to get Sturm and complete the quest “Relics of the Golden Age” in Destiny 2 – Where is Tyra Karn?

The note that comes with Drang is the next step towards Sturm. You need to bring the note to the cryptarch Rahool in the social space. He will then give you the quest “Relics of the Golden Age”.

“Relics of the Golden Age” consists of three tasks:

• Decrypt 5 Legendary Engrams: It also counts if you receive legendary reputation rewards, for example, from Devrim Kay.
• Decrypt one exotic engram: You can obtain exotic engrams from public events.
• Eliminate 10 Fallen on Nessus with Drang

Then you should return to Master Rahool, who will send you to Tyra Karn. Tyra Karn is located on the Farm. She is the cryptarch there.

Tyra Karn will give you the next quest step for “Relics of the Golden Age”:

• Eliminate multiple Fallen with Drang on Nessus without reloading (10): For each magazine, you should achieve at least three kills – and do this 10 times.
• Eliminate a powerful Fallen with Drang on Nessus (10): Powerful Fallen are those with yellow health bars (also enemies whose health bars consist of three sections). Choose public events where Fallen attack. Here you should quickly find such enemies. For the kill to count, you must defeat the enemy. If another guardian eliminates the enemy, it does not count.

Now you return to Tyra Karn, who will send you to the quest strike “Exodus Crash.” You should eliminate a specific servitor there. This strike is marked on Nessus with the quest symbol:

The servitor drops an item upon its death, which you bring to Tyra Karn. Now you’ve made it: She has as a reward a “Golden Age” engram, in which the hand cannon Sturm is located.

Sturm – The Exotic Perks of the Hand Cannon

Sturm is an exotic hand cannon that deals kinetic damage. It has a rate of fire of 110 and a magazine size of 12.

The two important perks are:

• Storm and Stress: Kills with energy weapons grant precision damage until the next reload.

  

If you now have Sturm in the kinetic slot and Drang in the energy slot, exciting synergies arise. Because Drang has the perk that kills with this weapon refill the magazine of Sturm.

This means that if you score enough kills and always switch between both weapons, you can keep firing at enemies without reloading. Kills with one weapon reload the magazine (from the ammo reserves) of the other weapon.

The MMO shooter Destiny 2 changes the weekly rituals of the franchise. Bungie informs players in advance about what will be featured in the Trials of the Nine and the Nightfall strike. The dates for September are known. Doesn’t that come at the expense of the event character of Destiny 2?

Destiny is a game built around rituals. Cynics say: It has to be, or nothing happens to them.

The week in Destiny is clearly structured:

• Tuesdays is the weekly reset, which is at 11 AM
• Wednesdays is weapons day – that is also at 11
• Friday morning Xur arrives and brings Exotics
• Friday evening the Trials of the Nine starts
• monthly the Iron Banner takes place

Players typically wait for these dates, precisely at the minute when the activity starts. Because they want to know every time: “What is going on? How does it proceed this time? And what do the other players think about it?”

That may seem strange to non-Destiny players, but that’s how it is with Destiny for 3 years now. This has contributed to Destiny’s success.

People gather and complain about Bungie

This collective waiting and discussing had event and cult status in Destiny 1. It was an established part of the success formula. These rituals brought the community together every week.

With the monthly plan, Bungie has revealed everything.

We now already know the modifiers and locations for:

• The Nightfall Strike
• The Trials of the Nine
• And the 4 Flashpoints and their order

This eliminates the wait for this information about what is “exactly” featured. The wait for the actual “Weekly Reset” or the “Trials of the Nine” is no longer that interesting. Okay, you might still learn bonus information and discuss, but the “immediacy” and tension are gone.

Bungie, however, does not entirely forgo the “meeting and discussing” effect. There is still no information on what Xur brings.

Is it going to be like this from now on?

The question is: Is Bungie going to do this every month and announce in advance what will change? Or was that just for the launch month of September?

Destiny 2 is everywhere! If you just look at our homepage, you might think our site should be called “Mein-Destiny”, as the topic is currently so popular on the internet and our coverage is so extensive. But is Destiny 2 really worth something? We want to know from you!

Destiny 2 – A worthy sequel or remake?

According to many reports, Destiny 2 is not much different from the first part. Bungie simply did more things right this time. For example, they included a proper story. Destiny 1 had almost nothing to offer in that regard, as quite a bit went wrong during its development and the story had to be massively rewritten.

Destiny 2 is therefore simply more polished and complete for many players. In addition, many players are pleased with the new categorization of weapon types. Furthermore, the gunplay – Destiny’s crowning discipline – has not been touched and still works as well as ever. Destiny 2 offers more of the good stuff.

Destiny 2 – Just a glorified DLC?

Other players are less enthusiastic about Destiny 2. On Metacritic, there are currently accumulating negative reviews (as of September 8, 2017). The accusation: Destiny 2 is not a new game, but merely an outrageously overpriced DLC!

Moreover, some players are upset that all achievements from Destiny 1 are gone. And they are as gone as the puppies, currywurst, and kebab stands in Destiny! All the grind for nothing. Many players worry that in a few years Destiny 3 will come out and they’ll have to start all over again and pay a lot of money.

And then there’s the annoyance about the single-use Shaders for real money!
