The battle royale madness can also be found in older games. In GTA: San Andreas, the PUBG mod regularly pulls many players into the survival matches. And that’s despite the game being several years old.
For the gaming community, the battle royale shooter “PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds” is a phenomenon. In March 2017, the game launched on Steam in early access and has since convinced more than 20 million players to make a purchase. PUBG broke several records on the Steam platform.
Other games want to get a piece of this hype cake and are developing their own battle royale modes. This is happening not only in current games like GTA 5 or Fortnite, but also in much older video games.
Fans create PUBG mod for GTA: San Andreas – and it works well
For a 13-year-old game, GTA: San Andreas has a surprisingly active community. The multiplayer, which thrives on mods and community work, has built a solid fanbase over the years. The PUBG mod is now expanding the community even further.
Fans created modifications in PUBG style that kick off the battle royale chaos in the open world of San Andreas.
GTA: San Andreas serves as an excellent base for a PUBG mod since the game already includes the key props: parachutes, various vehicle types, pistols, assault rifles, sniper rifles, helmets, and a huge map.
The PUBG game modes work so well that two mods are popular among GTA fans. One uses the multiplayer tool “SAMP,” which stands for San Andreas Multiplayer. The other uses “MTA,” which is short for Multi Theft Auto. We want to explore the MTA mod in more detail here.
You can see a lot of similarities to PUBG in the MTA mod: the parachute drop, a functioning inventory, weapon and equipment drops, different categories of armor (Level 1 and Level 2 helmets), and a large map where you encounter other players. In the following video, you can see the MTA-PUBG mod in action.

The modifications take advantage of features from GTA San Andreas. The many different NPCs provide customization options for character adjustments. In addition, there are many clothing stores in San Andreas with a large selection. The clothing can also be found as world drops in the PUBG mod.
In the upcoming months, the modifications, just like the original, will continue to improve. The GTA mod developers want to enhance weapon damage and refresh animations, among other things.
On November 28, the 5.6 update of Star Wars: The Old Republic (SWTOR) titled “Betrayal Among the Chiss” launched. As usual, the promises were grand, being touted as the largest content patch in 2017. Can the patch now live up to those expectations?
Substantially, there is a lot happening in the new update of SWTOR: The Alliance has been betrayed once again and the perpetrator unmasked. Now one must pursue their trail to confront them after a wild chase. This involves traveling to the remote planet Copero, which is occupied by the mysterious Chiss.
There, one must prove bravery, grandeur, and heroism to uncover the plans of the vile traitor!
The Key Patch Notes
There is a new story chapter along with a Flashpoint.
The third boss in “Gods from the Machine” – Nahut – is now available. Their stealth attack is absolutely deadly. Of course, good teamwork is required again!
A new map for Galactic Starfighter has been revealed, featuring battles of up to 12 vs. 12.
The revised group finder aims to make it “easier than ever” to find players that match with you.
Character appearance options have been expanded with several new customization options.
A visit to the Cartel market is worthwhile. You can now obtain the new robe of the honorable master, a new mount, and more!
You can boost any character directly to the maximum level 70 and unlock a complete level 1 armor set of Galactic Command for level 70 characters. This will then be available on the Cartel market.
The sparkle in the eyes has been revised. Yes – this is of great importance for some players!

It is quite unfortunate that the focus is again on multiplayer instead of further developing single-player content. And, I am quite aware of the discrepancy – however, it does not necessarily conflict with what SWTOR is all about. Some would also look forward to a new expansion instead of just a new patch. In the comments on the YouTube video, it sounds almost as if one aspect of the title is also transferred to the player base: The feeling of having been betrayed.
However, I do not wish to remain quite so dramatic at this point. It is a patch that has improved several things. The new story content does not promise a wow factor, but does provide additional entertainment.
Most of us don’t pay attention to the NPCs in The Division. Yet they tell poignant stories.
In the past year and a half, The Division has undergone an exciting development: The launch was accompanied by massive hype, which, however, quickly collapsed. Countless bugs and overwhelming criticism of the endgame surfaced, leading Massive to state in summer 2016: Sorry, our game isn’t fun. Consequently, the entire game was reworked in autumn 2016, and many mechanics were revised.
In 2017, however, not much has happened. While it is agreed that The Division is now significantly better than it was in 2016, there is a lack of new content. Throughout the entire year 2, only a few new features like loadouts or global events came. The next step is supposed to be the shared shooter with update 1.8, which is upcoming and brings many things that agents have been waiting for.
Throughout all the highs and lows, there has been one thing that never faced criticism in The Division: The atmosphere in the post-apocalyptic setting.
Scenes of Collapse in Video
Be it the missing person notices, the roadblocks, the graffiti, or the piles of trash that tower next to the buildings – it is evident that humanity has sunk into chaos. Massive repeatedly emphasized at launch that they are aiming for “realism,” that New York in the post-apocalypse could really look like this.
What many players overlook while chasing down enemies are the peaceful NPCs. The survivors who lost everything during the catastrophe. They can be found all over the game and tell their own stories.
The YouTuber Wild Max compiled these “scenes of collapse” in a video that shows the grieving and desperate NPCs. Massive recently shared the video through their public channels. We embed it here for you:
https://youtu.be/4voxsCwQlZI
In the video, you see people struggling, being treated, mourning, or going about simple tasks. There are also children in The Division who are being comforted or playing. The crying woman who annoyed many players is also in the video.
In the comments, this video is praised highly. It is said to be great.
Did you already know all the scenes that can be seen in the video?
By the way: Tomorrow, on 30.11., a “State of the Game” livestream will take place again. All likelihood is that Massive will then announce a release date for update 1.8:
Collectors’ friends will soon get new content in Overwatch. A “lot of stuff” is planned for the regular loot boxes!
In Overwatch, there is a primary reward system: loot boxes. You receive them for leveling up your account, for weekly missions in the arcade, or for direct purchase with real euros.
Inside the loot boxes await various cosmetic upgrades: skins for heroes, voicelines, emotes, victory poses, display pictures, spray logos, and more.
The problem: those who have been active since the beginning and play regularly might now own all items from the classic loot boxes. Players with an account level above 400 likely possess all items available outside of special events.
“The “fault” lies with a change in the past that made loot boxes contain duplicates much less often. This allowed many players to obtain all hero poses, skins, emotes, and other visual trifles through conventional means.
Nova Widowmaker
Standard loot boxes to get “many new items”
Jeff Kaplan, the Game Director of Overwatch, has now explained that loot boxes will soon become exciting again. According to his statements in the official forum, they have “very many new items that will be included in regular loot boxes.”
No exact date has been given yet. However, Kaplan has added that you “won’t have to wait long” and it will be “early next year.”
Fans can start farming loot boxes again in a few weeks – January 2018 seems to be a realistic date.
Some of these new items have already been revealed at BlizzCon 2017. These mostly included “crossover” skins from the various Blizzard universes. For example, a “Nova” skin for Widowmaker.
Are you excited for the new things in the loot boxes? Or have you not even completed the old collection?
The Elder Scrolls Online invites you to the dungeons with a special event. Clear out a dungeon every day and win additional loot. With a bit of luck, you might get a box with 20 houses or 20 mounts!
Do you love housing and enjoy a wide selection when it comes to your dream mount? Then the “#10MillionStories-Dungeon event” in The Elder Scrolls Online is just right for you! If you are lucky, you will receive a ton of houses or mounts as a gift.
Then you can stroll like a lord over your lands or spend hours thinking about whether to ride out with the red, green, or blue steed. Or maybe the riding bear or the saddled big cat?
#10MillionStories-Dungeon event – Dungeons with random groups are worth it!
To get the sweet extra loot, all you need to do is sign up for a normal or veteran dungeon through the “Group & Activities Search” menu. Once you have completed the dungeon, there will be an additional guaranteed treasure chest on top of the usual loot, which can contain cool items like dye templates, repair materials, motif stones, or rare mounts or costumes.
That alone is already cool and worth the dungeon run with “randoms”. Even better, however, is that with each run there is a chance you will win a special package. This box contains either 20 mounts OR 20 houses!
Among them are such magnificent specimens as the “Great Opal Hideout” or the splendid “Wapiti” stag mount. Those who know the proud prices for houses and mounts in ESO will guess how valuable this grand prize is!
Real-Life Giveaway
In addition to the treasures in the game, you can even win real prizes. With the #10MillionStories-Dungeon event ESO celebrates 10 million players who have ventured into Tamriel so far. Therefore, you can register for a giveaway and with each daily dungeon run you also unlock a ticket for the drawing in addition to the in-game loot. There are over 300 prizes to be won, including grand prizes like a trip to PAX East 2018 or the immortalization of your hero as an NPC in the game!
The space simulation Star Citizen is now selling land rights in space. Fans are asking: Please don’t freak out. Read this carefully.
Star Citizen has no release date, is still far from being a real game, but has already earned over 167 million US dollars from the sale of virtual spaceships. Players are already making microtransactions before the game is truly live.
To put it mildly: Some are critical of the business model. They see it as the height of arrogance.
Others defend the model and want to support the developers in creating a fantastic game that does not have to adhere to the rules of a conventional AAA production.
There is a lot of explosive discussion about the game.
How do I buy a piece of land in the virtual space of Star Citizen?
A blog post has now been released that answers the question: “How can I acquire rights to a piece of land in Star Citizen?”
Fans of the game can already guess what kind of reaction this will provoke: not a very nice one. They are already going into defense mode after the announcement and demand: “Please don’t freak out.”
They fear: Opponents of the game will now take to the barricades because CIG is literally selling “properties in space.” A similar business model of selling “land on the moon” exists in the real world. Many are also quite critical of that. For critics, this is just another escalation of this business model.
Many indications say: “No, this is not Pay2Win”
However, it must be said fairly that the blog post describing the “Claim Licenses” is filled with hints stating: “No, we are not Pay2Win. Everything here can also be purchased in the game later. There are no real advantages if you buy now.”
Nevertheless, the action is of course water on the mills of the critics of Star Citizen. For them, it is a sign that the monetization frenzy knows no bounds.
The land is not cheap:
A license for a 4km x 4km lot costs 50 US dollars.
An 8km x 8km large plot is available for 100 US dollars.
However, these plots are said to be purchasable later for in-game currency as well.
License buys protection by the Space Agency UEE
A license grants the owner ownership of a small piece of land on a planet, moon, or asteroid owned by the UEE (United Empire of Earth).
Currently, a license does not grant ownership of a specific plot, but only the right to secure any piece of land later. The license ensures that one has a legal claim to the land within the universe and can count on assistance from the UEE.
If you violate the rights of another, there will be trouble with the space authorities. However, you can also operate in areas outside the influence of the UEE without the license. However, there will be no protection then.
Originally, a fashion show for the new gear from Curse of Osiris was supposed to take place today, Wednesday. But that won’t happen. Instead, a detailed blog post from Luke Smith and Mark Noseworthy, the minds behind Destiny 2, will be released, addressing important system changes to Destiny 2.
Information is promised on:
The item economy: How are the vendors changing, how will players acquire their items in the future? What will happen with Legendary shards and tokens?
The rewards system: a new rewards system for weapons and armor
Gameplay updates
and more
Furthermore, Smith and Noseworthy will address criticism from the community that has been voiced since the launch.
DeeJ confirms: Today will bring concrete promises and release dates
According to Bungie, today “high-priority info” will be released. They will discuss the future goals they have for Destiny 2. Bungie will also explain how they will respond to the feedback – with several game updates in the coming weeks.
Many players skeptically noted that this blog post would likely only contain general “fluff,” merely deferrals without much relevance. However, that shouldn’t be the case, writes community manager DeeJ on Twitter: Today there will be concrete promises and release dates.

In the last hours, DeeJ has been more talkative and transparent than ever before. He tweeted all night (our time), responded to community questions and criticism, and provided an answer as to why he can write “unleashed” only now.
After emphasizing that all opinions in the community matter and that Bungie receives everything, he answered over 30 community questions. Here is an overview of the most interesting statements:
They have many media to communicate information to the community. Each medium has its advantages and disadvantages. A blog post can effectively contain a lot of information.
In response to the criticism that Bungie is now hiding because they are not holding a livestream, DeeJ states that the blog post will contain much more information than a gear parade.
Today’s information is too important for a livestream, where the info could get diluted.
The problem with managing the Destiny community is that there isn’t a single, correct goal. The community is diverse and everyone plays Destiny 2 for different reasons.
A PvP player criticized that his concerns probably aren’t that important, but he really wants a ranking system. DeeJ replied that players like him are very important to them.
A user wrote that he hopes today’s blog post will positively inspire all guardians. In response, DeeJ says there is nothing that can make everyone feel positive. Honest criticism is important. And one should be tolerant of those who have a different opinion.
Moreover, DeeJ confirms that the blog post will approximately be released at the same time as the “This Week at Bungie” posts. This is always in the middle of the night for us, between 10 PM and 2 AM.
DeeJ confirms that the “Dawning” event will start this December. A specific date will follow.
A user expresses gratitude that Bungie is finally listening to community feedback. DeeJ responds that the Bungie team always listens. However, it takes longer to respond to feedback than to perceive it.
Furthermore, DeeJ explains why he can only make all these statements now: Sometimes he first has to “synchronize” behind the scenes with the team. So they can coordinate exactly what can be said publicly without making false promises.
In response to criticism that Bungie has lost transparency and a clear direction, DeeJ agrees. Today’s blog post will provide more information on this.
On Reddit, many are glad that Bungie finally breaks the silence and “DeeJ is unleashed.” Such communication is hoped for more often.
As soon as the information from today’s blog post becomes available, you will learn about it immediately on Mein-MMO.de in English.
The open beta of the anime MMORPG Soulworker Online was originally supposed to start at the end of 2017. However, that will not happen now.
Soulworker places you in a dark future where creatures from other dimensions are invading Earth. Only heroes with powerful superpowers can stop this threat and close the dimensional gate again. You are one of these heroes in the post-apocalyptic anime MMORPG and set out to fight against the dark beings from another dimension.
Developers want to invest more time and money
You were supposed to experience how it plays by the end of the year. Because Soulworker was originally supposed to start the open beta in 2017. However, since the developers are not yet satisfied with the quality of the MMORPG and some tasks have taken a bit longer, the testing phase has been postponed.
The new date is: first quarter of 2018. The team wants to invest even more time and money to create a truly rounded and good gaming experience from Soulworker. Nothing should be rushed.

The removal of microtransactions from the online shooter Star Wars Battlefront 2 (PC, PS4, Xbox One) shows EA’s quick response to feedback. The online shooter is now viewed relatively positively considering the events that transpired.
The backlash surrounding Battlefront 2 and the loot boxes lasted for days and weeks. Now it is over, and EA has to deal with the aftermath. But how do you turn the chaotic weeks into a positive outcome? This can be seen in an interview with Gameindustry.biz.
EA’s reaction shows: We listen to customers
Electronic Arts’ Chief Financial Officer Blake Jorgensen explains that it is important for EA to continue listening to its customers. It is entirely normal to make mistakes along the way and learn from them. These mistakes are a great opportunity to optimize and improve the game.
According to Jorgensen, the removal of microtransactions from Star Wars Battlefront 2 happened because many players felt it was a pay-to-win element.
Microtransactions are great for people with little time
However, in reality, it is a balancing act to find a balance between players who can invest more time in a game and those who have less time. Both should enjoy a good and fair gaming experience.
According to Jorgensen, EA is not giving up on microtransactions. They will learn from player feedback on how to proceed best in the future. The strategy will not change. It is important for the company to offer customers an enjoyable game, keep the community together, and consistently provide new content.
According to Jorgensen, they have perfectly managed this with EA’s sports games. Now they are searching for the right model for other titles.
Battlefront 2 is a great game
The good news is: Star Wars Battlefront 2 is one of the best games ever made. You hear that from the people who really played it. Battlefront 2 is incredibly vast and deep.
And it will be expanded even more in the coming weeks than any game before.
Microtransactions will likely return – EA does not know when
Microtransactions will likely return to Star Wars Battlefront 2, but Jorgensen does not yet know exactly when. In any case, EA stands by microtransactions. The idea of only offering cosmetic changes is viewed with some skepticism by EA.
Regarding microtransactions for cosmetic items, Jorgensen is not very enthusiastic. Although this works in games like Overwatch or League of Legends, it is somewhat more challenging in Star Wars. They do not want to offer a pink or white armor for Darth Vader because that simply goes against the “canon” of the universe.
Cosmetic items do not work well in Star Wars – respect the canon
One must always ensure to provide a gaming experience that fits Star Wars. Cosmetic items could certainly be introduced, but with caution.
Regarding paid DLCs, Blake Jorgensen explains that they had to move away from this, as only about 25 percent of players purchased them in Star Wars Battlefront. This led to the community becoming divided. Some played the DLC content, while others did not. Therefore, EA switched to microtransactions and will stick to them.
In what form they will find their way back into the online shooter Star Wars Battlefront 2 is something that time will reveal.
Starting today, you can upgrade legendary items to Item Level 1000 in World of Warcraft. We will show you how the “Legendary Upgrade” works with the Awakening Essences.
With the end of today’s maintenance (29.11.2017), the last raid of the Legion expansion is now open on the European servers of World of Warcraft. This means better loot for all players, and with that, an increase in item level is to be expected.
To ensure that the legendary items remain “Best in Slot”, the orange items can now be upgraded again. This allows you to achieve an item level of 1000 for the Legendaries!
As in the past, you will need to collect a total of 50 Awakening Essences to upgrade a single Legendary to item level 1000.
Get Awakening Essences for A Titanic Effort to upgrade a Legendary
The required Awakening Essences for the quest A Titanic Effort can be obtained from several sources:
The weekly “Mythic+” chest in the Order Hall
All bosses from the raid Antorus, the Burning Throne (once per boss, regardless of difficulty)
Emissary chests from world quests
The first daily heroic dungeon
Weekly PvP quests
From these sources, you will also receive the quest item that initiates “A Titanic Effort” for the first time.
Once you have gathered 50 essences, bring them to Arcanomancer Vridiel in the Dalaran Forge, and you will receive an Awakened Titan Essence in exchange.
Vridiel is – once again – the quest giver for the upgrade.
The Awakened Titan Essence can be applied to all Legendaries, regardless of their previous base level (910, 940, or 970). Thus, even returnees who may have taken a break can quickly bring their items up to the new maximum.
You can repeat the mission as many times as necessary until all legendary items in your possession have been upgraded to item level 1000.
By the way: Legendary items that you receive from now on are immediately at item level 1000. No upgrade is necessary!
The next expansion for Hearthstone finally has a release date. The release of Kobolds and Catacombs is much earlier than expected!
At BlizzCon 2017, the upcoming expansion for Hearthstone was already presented in detail. In the following weeks, more and more card reveals followed. However, Blizzard had not yet announced a fixed date for the release of Kobolds & Catacombs. That has now changed!
Kobolds and Catacombs – Release next week
As Blizzard announced on Twitter, the new expansion Kobolds and Catacombs will go live in America on December 7th. For us, it will probably happen late at night on December 8th.

Kobolds and Catacombs will add a total of 135 new cards to the game. Once all cards have been revealed, we will publish a post with all the cards.
Apart from the 135 new cards for the multiplayer mode, there is also an extensive single-player mode this time. In the dungeon, players can face 48 different bosses, which are randomly generated each time. Through rewards after each match, the player’s deck grows throughout the “dungeon runs”. Particularly powerful treasures that grant passive bonuses provide a unique gameplay experience each time.
At the launch of the new expansion, Blizzard is generous. As soon as Kobolds and Catacombs goes live, all players who log in on the first day will receive three free card packs. In addition, there is one of the legendary weapons included, but for a randomly selected class. Three more packs can be earned by all players in the dungeon, as the first three (successful) dungeon runs will also reward each with one pack.
Until the release date, all interested parties can pre-order 50 card packs at the reduced price of 50 Euros in the shop. This also guarantees an additional card back, which is exclusive to pre-order customers.
Are you excited for Kobolds and Catacombs? Or is the expansion not for you?
The last week of Season 1 in Destiny 2 has begun. Many players miss some of the most popular emotes in the Eververse, which is also making the rounds on Reddit. And Bungie is responding immediately.
With the upcoming expansion Curse of Osiris, a new season in Destiny 2 begins on December 5, which will change a lot. Although it is not yet completely clear what will happen to the cosmetic items in the long run, players want to complete their collections. Because next week most emotes, ships, and ghosts will be removed.
Especially popular: The exotic emotes. There are four of them:
The “Salty” emote: The Guardian sprinkles salt
The “Flip Out” emote: The Guardian knocks over a table with items on it
The “Noodle Soup” gesture: The Guardian eats noodle soup in reference to Cayde-6, who talks about his favorite “Spicy Ramen Shop” in the English trailer version (in German, Cayde talks about a döner shop)
The “Shooter” gesture: The Guardian shoots targets in a cowboy style
The last week in Season 1 and no exotic emotes in the shop – for now!
With the weekly reset on Tuesday, the last week of the first season in Destiny 2 began. Many players hoped that the Eververse would offer the exotic emotes for Glimmer so that all players would have the opportunity to acquire them before the reset next week.
Unfortunately, that was not the case, Tess Everis did not offer a single exotic emote after the weekly reset. Posts appeared on Reddit afterwards, addressing the missing emotes. The players were not happy with Bungie’s decision not to offer any exotic emotes.
Immediately following this announcement, the two exotic emotes “Salty” and “Spicy Noodle Soup” were added to the Eververse. Bungie has thus reacted to community feedback within a few hours. The emotes can be purchased for 3,250 Glimmer each.
Robert says: Yes, we are talking about exotic emotes that do not have a direct impact on gameplay. However, it is a positive sign that Bungie has quickly responded to community feedback.
Since the announcement that the livestream is canceled and that they would rather focus on the problems of the game, there is a sense of a new beginning.
What do you think? Do you miss any of the mentioned emotes?
This is an AI-powered translation. Some inaccuracies might exist.
The last cinematic of World of Warcraft: Legion has been released. Here you can see what happens to Azeroth when defeating Argus!
As of today, Antorus, the Burning Throne is available. In the last raid of World of Warcraft: Legion, players face some of the strongest adversaries ever encountered. In addition to leaders of the Burning Legion, the latest raid also features a battle against a true Titan! The World Soul of Argus manifests and must be defeated by the players.
Following the final battle, players can expect a cinematic lasting nearly three minutes. If you don’t want to be spoiled, you should not continue reading.
After Argus is defeated, the battle for the fate of the Burning Legion seems to be decided – or so it seems. Velen and the other heroes of Azeroth return with the Vindikaar, but one remains: Illidan.

The Pantheon of Titans uses its regained power to manifest a powerful beam that is aimed at the darkness gripping Azeroth. From the mist, Sargeras, the fallen Titan and leader of the Burning Legion, takes shape. Although the beam tries to stop him, he swings his sword and drives the blade deep into the crust of Azeroth. Only after that does the Pantheon succeed in imprisoning Sargeras. Illidan remains as his warden, trapped in an eternal conflict with the fallen Titan.
Cortyn says: Although the cinematic looks quite epic as is typical of Blizzard and delivers exactly what dataminers and players have already expected, I am dissatisfied. For me, it’s not a worthy exit for one of the greatest villains that Warcraft has ever had. I can only hope that Sargeras escapes his prison again someday. I also find it unfortunate that Illidan is now simply “out of the picture”.
What do you think of the cinematic? Does it deliver exactly what you hoped for? Or does it leave you feeling somewhat unsatisfied?
In Destiny 2, things are getting serious. Bungie has canceled the last planned promotional stream for the DLC “Curse of Osiris” and instead wants to present the planned and expected system changes on Wednesday evening. These now hold greater importance.
In a surprising move, Bungie has decided to end the routine of live streams.
Actually, a kind of “fashion show” was supposed to take place on Wednesday evening at 8:00 PM: They planned to showcase the new items in the Twitch stream that the DLC “Curse of Osiris” will bring to players on PS4, PC, and Xbox One starting December 5.
However, that will not happen. The stream is canceled; instead, fans should expect a written blog post.
No “Continue as Usual” in Destiny 2
There, the heads of Destiny 2, Game Director Luke Smith and Producer Mark Noseworthy, will present the planned changes to Destiny. They will discuss the direction Destiny 2 will take and address fan feedback.
This feedback has increasingly become negative in recent weeks. Players are complaining:
an unsatisfactory loot system with “tokens,” where each item is only needed once and can be quickly obtained in full
that there is simply nothing to do in Destiny 2 because everything has already been achieved
a slow and sluggish PvP with an unpopular 4-player mode
When is the Post about the Future of Destiny 2 Coming?
We should expect the blog post on Wednesday. Normally, these posts are released in the afternoon US time. Due to the time difference, it may stretch into the late night here in Germany. A reasonable assumption for a time frame is likely between 8 and 12 PM.
Bungie Makes a Statement
Mein MMO believes: This is definitely the right step. After the last stream, the mood has finally turned, and Bungie had to make a statement that it understands and can no longer continue with the same old plan: The new content in Curse of Osiris is simply of little interest to anyone as long as the deep-rooted problems of Destiny 2 are not resolved. Keyword: “Two tokens and one blue armor.”
After the last stream, players even explicitly demanded that the third and final stream should not be just “business as usual” and a marketing vehicle.
Nevertheless, the blog post is accompanied by many question marks ahead of time. While it has been known since Saturday that Bungie will present the system changes that will come to Destiny 2 in a free update in December.
Questions include:
To what extent can a normal patch change the stagnant situation?
If the blog post states: The right changes won’t come until far into 2018 – how would the community react then?
Announced are details on:
The item economy: What types of vendors are there and how do guardians obtain items? What will happen with legendary shards and tokens?
An update of the rewards system – a new rewards system for weapons and armor
Gameplay updates
and more
We eagerly anticipate the blog post tomorrow and will report on Mein MMO as soon as it is available.
To get a sense of what tomorrow will roughly be about:
Antorus, the Burning Throne, the final raid in WoW: Legion, opens its gates. Read in our guide how to defeat the bosses of the second wing: Portal Keeper Hasabel, Eonar the Lifebinder, and Imonar the Soulhunter!
Note: The basic videos are gameplay from the PTR version of the raid. There may be deviations from the release version!
The guides are intended for the normal and heroic modes of Antorus. The Mythic mode will be available at a later time.
The fight against Portal Keeper Hasabel takes place on four platforms: on her own, on which she is the enemy, as well as on three other platforms around the main platform. These can be reached via portals at the edges and await you with one miniboss each.
There is no limit to the platforms: Anyone who falls dies!
Positioning: Hasabel will be tanked in the corners of the room and changes position after casting Collapsing World. Ranged players should best gather in the center of the room, about 30-40 meters away from the boss at maximum range.
Hasabel’s Abilities
Rift in Reality: Hasabel afflicts her current target with a stack of Rift in Reality, which deals moderate damage and is stackable. After a certain time, the spell deals damage to all players, which increases with the number of stacks.
The tanks should switch at about 3 stacks, as otherwise both the ticking damage and the damage the spell deals to the raid becomes too great.
Collapsing World: Creates a large area of shadow that explodes after a few moments and deals damage to the group. Players within the area take double damage (normally lethal) and are knocked back. The timing is well done, so it can be easily avoided.
Transport Portal: For 10 seconds, a portal exists next to Hasabel, from which demons emerge to aid her.
Fel Imp: The imps do not need to be tanked, as they are already standing at the boss and casting. Their Fiery Detonation needs to be interrupted as this deals significant damage to the raid and increases the damage of all subsequent detonations by 50% for 6 seconds. The imps have low health and are susceptible to stuns, traps, banishments, etc.
Fel Firestorm: Long areas of portals appear on the platform, which shortly thereafter deal potentially lethal damage and knock back affected players. The beams must be avoided.
The Portals
At certain percentages of Hasabel’s health, minibosses intervene in the fight. When they appear on their platforms, the respective portals deal regular damage to the raid, which steadily increases until the miniboss is defeated. From then on, the damage remains but no longer increases.
All minibosses also share the ability Unstable Portal: 45 seconds after appearing, the miniboss casts Unstable Portal. This causes high damage to all players and grants the boss a stackable buff after it finishes. The spell must be interrupted on all platforms.

A group is assigned to manage the portals. Meanwhile, a tank, all healers except one, and some damage classes should stay on the main platform to play the remaining mechanics.
The tanks switch before the inactive tank enters the portal. As adds continue to appear, classes with strong cleave damage should stay at Hasabel. If no one other than Hasabel is on the main platform, the entire raid takes high damage and Hasabel’s casting speed is increased by 100% for 6 seconds, her damage is increased by 25% (stackable).
90% Health: Platform Xoroth (Red Portal)
Early in the fight, the first miniboss intervenes: Vulkanar.

Vulkanar’s Abilities
Flames of Xoroth: Deals damage to all targets within 10 meters and leaves a damage-over-time spell on affected players. The spell must be interrupted.
Supernova: Red areas appear on the ground that explode after a short time, potentially dealing lethal damage and launching players into the air. The areas are not very large and must be avoided.
Eternal Flames: Flames move back and forth in the area on the platform. These deal damage on contact and should be avoided for now (more on that later).
60% Health: Platform Rancora (Green Portal)
The second portal can be entered by the same group that has already cleared the first platform, but with an additional healer. Here Lady Dacidion waits for you.
Lady Dacidion’s Abilities
Poison Essence: Deals damage to all players on the platform equal to 10% of their current health. The group should therefore be kept at as low health as possible to avoid stressing healing efficiency. The spell itself can never be lethal, only in conjunction with additional damage.
Fel Silk Net: Deals moderate damage to a player and ensnares them in a net. As long as the net remains, the ensnared player additionally takes periodic damage. The net must be destroyed as quickly as possible while keeping the player alive.
Cornacious Slime: Touching the green puddles on the ground leaves a 20-second damage-over-time effect, which triggers Acidic Detonation upon removal, dealing moderate damage to nearby players.
Particularly challenging here is keeping all characters at low health without bringing them into the area where they would die immediately from Fel Silk Net. About 2-3 million health should be sufficient.
Main Platform Phase 2
Once the portal is activated, Hasabel’s Transport Portal is strengthened. In addition to the imps, Fel-Touched Stalkers also appear, casting Acidic Net. The spell makes the target immobile for 5 seconds and deals damage every second.
The spell should be interrupted. However, the spiders can also be taunted and bound to the boss to die in AoE. They are susceptible to control effects. As this point is particularly difficult for the group on the main platform, healer cooldowns are best used here.
30% Health: Platform Nathreza (Purple Portal)
The last platform is shrouded in darkness, which impairs visibility and reduces healing received by 50%. This debuff runs out after 30 seconds and generates Siphoning Darkness, which deals damage to characters within 8 meters and reduces their healing received by 100% for one minute!
To bypass this, players must first go to the Fire Platform to obtain one of the aforementioned flames. The flames leave a 10-second spell that, after expiration, makes the orb reappear at the current position.
Without speed buffs, a stop must be made on the main platform, and the orb must be picked up again. The debuff must not be removed in any other way, as no new flame will appear!
If a player successfully brings one of the flames to the Shadow Platform, all players within 10 meters can see normally and receive full healing.
In addition to the damage, the aura of this portal also reduces the damage dealt by all players by 1%.

Lord Eligars Abilities
Corruption: Deals damage to all enemies within 20 meters and increases the damage taken by 15% for 4 seconds (stackable). This spell is simply a race against time and the opponent’s health.
Delusions: All healers on the platform heal 100% less, and their absorption effects have no effect. Instead, they regain 2% of their maximum mana every second. This buff can be maintained for as long as necessary until emergency healing is required to regain as much mana as possible.
Main Platform Phase 3
Once the last portal becomes active, Hasabel’s Transport Portal is strengthened again. She now summons additional Ravenous Stalkers with each cast, who cast Howling Shadows. The spell deals damage to all players within 60 meters and prevents spell casting for 6 seconds. Howling Shadows must be interrupted!
At this point, Bloodlust/Heroism should be used to defeat Hasabel before the damage from the portals wipes the raid. Classes with good cleave and AoE damage, as well as Death Knights (especially tanks), have a great advantage in this fight.
You have probably stolen this jet in GTA 5 Online at least once. You can now buy it for a lot of money through an update.
You can steal the Lazer jet in GTA 5 from Fort Zancudo. You can find it in both singleplayer and multiplayer modes. In the past, it took a lot of luck to steal the jet as heavily armed soldiers guard the aircraft. Owners of a hangar had an advantage as they earned the trust of the airport staff.
With the new “GTA 5 Online” update, the element of luck decreases since the jet is now available for purchase. However, you need to fork out a hefty sum of money.
P-996 Lazer Jet costs several million
If you have enough money, you can skip the jet theft and simply store it in your own hangar in the future. Gone are the heists where you speed over the jump ramp in a super sports car to land in Fort Zancudo. You can also skip the subsequent shootout with the soldiers on site, because for just 6.5 million GTA dollars, the P-996 Lazer Jet is now for sale.
If you already own a hangar in Fort Zancudo, you can also easily steal the Lazer. Compared to the Hydra jet (costs about 3 million GTA dollars), the Lazer is extremely expensive.
The purchase of this aircraft is more aimed at players who already have a lot of money in the online mode of GTA 5 and don’t know what to do with it.
GTA 5 Update 1.41 – Patch Notes
The developers updated the following patch notes for GTA 5 Update 1.41:
A new aircraft has been added to GTA Online and can be purchased at Warstock
P-996 Lazer
New props have been added for the racing creator mode
New transformer options have been added for racing creator. These include special and armed vehicles
Double GTA$ and RP for everything!
For the next 14 days, there will be double GTA$ and RP rewards for many jobs in GTA 5 Online. These rewards will last until December 11 and apply to the following activities:
The Antorus raid opens and brings the final raid of World of Warcraft: Legion. A fresh cinematic initiates the final battle!
In America, the gates are already open, while the launch in Europe will occur later tonight. We are talking about the latest raid in World of Warcraft. Antorus, the Burning Throne is located on Argus and represents one of the largest fortresses of the Burning Legion. But not only demons dwell here and have terrible plans for the universe, but also the captured souls of the Titans. These must be found by the players, who must also extinguish a host of demons.
Before the start of the final boss fight against Argus the Unmaker, there is a short, introductory cinematic that prepares for the boss fight – much like back then in Warlords of Draenor against Archimonde.

In the cinematic, we get to see Magni Bronzebeard entering the Throne of the Pantheon with the players. There, the souls of the Titans who have not succumbed to Sargeras’s corruption gather. They try to cast a spell to cleanse Argus – but Sargeras has other plans. The Titan soul of Argus awakens, and thus begins the final battle of WoW: Legion. A fight against a genuine titan.
WoW: Legion receives its final raid: Antorus, the Burning Throne. We present to you the first three bosses of the raid with guides: the Worldbreaker of Garothi, the Fel Hounds of Sargeras, and the Antoran Command.
Note: The basic videos are gameplay from the PTR version of the raid. There may be deviations from the release version.
The guides are intended for the normal and heroic modes of Antorus. The mythical mode as well as the LFR will be available at a later date.
The massive Felhunter is the first boss of the instance, and stationary. You only fight its upper body and its two shoulder weapons. The fight proceeds similarly to the first phase of the Fallen Avatar in the Tomb of Sargeras and requires a lot of coordination.
Setup: The fight should ideally be played with two camps: melee and ranged, with ranged players absolutely needing to gather in the middle of the platform. This is important for the movement paths, and the outer areas must be kept clear for the tanks. The tanks stand on either side of the boss, with melee near the currently inactive tank.
The Abilities
Fel Bombardment: The current tank is fixed, and for 5 seconds a projectile is fired at him every second. The projectiles deal high damage (deadly for any non-tank) and knock back 7 meters. This ability requires a tank switch.
The projectiles have a short flight time, so the corresponding tank should have created some distance between himself and the boss before the first impact to avoid being killed by chain attacks. It suffices to run sideways away from the boss in a line (Feathers from priests and other speed boosts are very helpful).
Decimation: Random players are marked, leaving a ground area shortly thereafter. These large, green areas explode some moments later, dealing extremely high damage to targets inside, as well as moderate damage to the entire raid.
Affected targets should move away from the group and drop the areas slightly to the sides of the camps, preferably on the currently inactive side of the boss. However, the area is large enough to give the tanks dodging options.

Bildquelle: wowhead
Annihilation: Three small circles appear in the area, one of which usually occurs near the melee players. In each circle, 2-3 (3-4 in larger raids) players need to stand to absorb the damage from the incoming projectile.
If a projectile is not intercepted, it deals great damage to the raid (comparable to Sargeras’ touch in the Fallen Avatar heroic+). Intercepting players receive a strong damage-over-time spell that needs to be healed by the healers.
Apocalypse Unit: At 65% and 25% health, the Worldbreaker casts Apocalypse Unit. This is a spell cast over 20 seconds, which deals damage to all players every 4 seconds, and upon expiration immediately wipes the raid.
To interrupt the spell, one of the two shoulder cannons of the Felhunter must be destroyed: the Decimator or the Annihilator. If one weapon is destroyed, the corresponding ability will no longer be used for the rest of the fight, but the Worldbreaker will deal 20% (or 40%) more damage.
Boiling Fel Energy (heroic): While Apocalypse Unit is being cast, long, wide strips appear on the ground that shortly thereafter explode and deal nearly lethal damage to all targets in the area.
Extermination: After Apocalypse Unit is interrupted, the boss casts Extermination. This ability deals extremely high damage to all targets and knocks them back 60 meters. Damage decreases with distance from the boss.
So the entire raid should pull back to the other side of the room, except for one tank who must absorb the hit with defensive cooldowns. If no one is within melee range, the Worldbreaker will cast Butchery, dealing very high damage per second to all targets.
Scorching Barrage: After the first cannon is destroyed, the Felhunter deals moderate damage every 2 seconds to random targets.
This is a soft enrage that will at the latest in the third phase turn into a race against time and mana and must be continuously healed.
After the second Apocalypse Unit, the raid gathers directly in front of the boss to better heal the constant damage. Large healer cooldowns are needed here, as the damage significantly increases. But the boss has no abilities left other than the Fel Bombardment.
Enhanced Abilities in the Second Phase
The second phase can be played in two ways. By destroying either the Decimator or the Annihilator, the respective other ability becomes stronger:
Enhanced Annihilation: Annihilation now summons 7 (or more) circles. The raid should spread out to be more mobile, and whenever possible, impacts must be intercepted with immunities to minimize damage to the raid.
Enhanced Decimation: Three instead of one player will be marked with Decimation. The raid should gather in a single spot in front of the boss and move closely left and right when the areas appear. Early movement may lead to a wipe.
The enhanced Decimation is probably easier to play, as it is still unclear whether the enhanced Annihilation generates more circles when the raid is larger. If it always involves 7 circles, larger raids will have more success with this tactic.
Because his parodies of Overwatch are so popular, a video troll was able to visit Blizzard and meet the developer he has mocked.
Anyone who regularly visits the public forums of Overwatch or the associated subreddit has surely heard of a certain YouTuber: Dinoflask. The community owes him some great memes, such as “Wrestle with Jeff, prepare for death”. The reason for this is his parody videos, in which everything revolves around the Overwatch head Jeff Kaplan.
Jeff Kaplan regularly publishes so-called “Developer Updates,” in which he talks about current topics of Overwatch and explains what the team is currently working on or what the developers are looking forward to.
Dinoflask takes these videos and re-edits them, making it seem as if Jeff Kaplan is saying new things. Instead of being a friendly, caring developer who listens to the community’s concerns, he turns into a self-satisfied cynic who revels in the tears of the players.

All changes to the game under “Dinoflask-Kaplan” are only made so that players are frustrated and want to alleviate their frustration by purchasing loot boxes. Sometimes it even goes below the belt, but humor is always the focus.
Kaplan thinks the videos are great and even said that he “can say in Dinoflask’s videos what he wouldn’t dare otherwise” – of course not entirely serious.
Dinoflask received a special honor. When Kaplan celebrated his 15th anniversary at Blizzard earlier this year, Dinoflask was invited. At a developers’ meeting, one of his videos was presented before he had to face the developers himself. “That was pretty embarrassing,” he confessed in an interview with Kotaku.

Dinoflask started analyzing early to work as efficiently as possible while creating his scripts.
He has a document in which he has listed the nearly 40,000 words that Kaplan has spoken in all videos. Each word is linked to the corresponding passage in the videos, allowing Dinoflask to piece everything together quickly. However, it still often takes a whole week – or a weekend when he dedicates himself to nothing else – to finish a small clip of 3-5 minutes.

Especially funny: Because Dinoflask still needed a sound file of Kaplan where he clearly said “Torbjörn,” Kaplan did exactly that and simply added the word “Torbjörn” to a regular “Developer Update” video.
What do you think of Dinoflask’s videos? Is this exactly your sense of humor and fits perfectly with the Overwatch community? Or is it all just too silly?
Mass gatherings for Pokémon GO were not only during the hype summer of 2016. A recent example from Japan shows this.
When we think of the launch of Pokémon GO in the summer of 2016, we associate it with a huge hype. In Germany, many trainers began their adventures in the new AR world of Pokémon on their phones in July.
Back then, it was common for popular spots in cities to be crowded with players. Everyone wanted to catch those rare monsters that suddenly appeared.
Although player numbers have already declined significantly, flocks of trainers still play Pokémon GO.
Pokémon GO Event in Tottori attracts crowds
In Japan, the “Pokémon GO Safari Zone” event took place in Tottori from November 24 to November 26. Similar safari events also occurred in Europe. Rare Pokémon like Kangaskhan or Unown attracted trainers from many cities to Copenhagen, Prague, Stockholm, Amstelveen, or Oberhausen.
The sand dunes of Tottori Prefecture (Japan) were the venue for the recent Safari Zone. There were PokéStops featuring Snorlax and Unown to catch. According to IT Media, the event attracted 87,000 players over the three event days.

The event was the highlight of the Global Catch Challenge. The Pokémon GO team tasked trainers around the world to catch three billion Pokémon together. As a reward, they unlocked the regional Pokémon “Mr. Mime” for 48 hours.
