Kyogre Nerf – Dragon Tail Removed

The impact of this nerf is stronger than initially thought. With a moveset of Dragon Tail and Blizzard, Kyogre was considered a top Dragon counter. That would be useful if the Dragon Pokémon Rayquaza, Latios, and Latias were to be released soon.
On Reddit, speculation has been ongoing for days that Kyogre could outclass popular Dragon attackers like Articuno. However, with the removal of Dragon Tail, it seems that Niantic does not want Kyogre to overshadow other attackers with an overpowered moveset.
Additionally, in December, the maximum CP of Kyogre was reduced from 4874 CP to 4074 CP. This is a typical nerf that Pokémon with CP significantly over 4000 likely receive.
Kyogre as the Next Raid Boss?
As Niantic stated at the release of Groudon, this monster will only remain in the game until January 15. Which Pokémon will replace it has not yet been revealed by the developers.
With the recent changes, the community believes that Kyogre is already on the verge of being released next. The signs point to this, but whether this will actually be the case, we hopefully find out soon from Niantic.
Even in 2018, SWTOR is still present in the MMO market – but what does the year look like? How did the past year go? Does the game still have a future?
Star Wars: The Old Republic has survived the year 2017 and is still being developed. But was 2017 a successful year for the title? Or is SWTOR “dying”?
We look back and make a few predictions about where SWTOR will go in 2018.
2017 – the year of many mini-patches for SWTOR
In total, the developers managed to fit in 17 patches in 2017 – an average of one update every 3 weeks. Really big “feature” updates happened roughly every 2 months, so players were occasionally provided with new Flashpoints or smaller bits of story missions. Even the Galactic Starfighter, the “space PvP mode”, received a new map.
Essentially, 2017 was the year of major revisions. There were a lot of changes to the game’s balancing and even entire systems, like the Galactic Command, were revised multiple times, rewards adjusted and improved. Story missions received the new difficulty level “Master”, which was particularly challenging and offered even veterans a solid challenge.
Fans crave new content
Especially the last few months did not go particularly well for Star Wars: The Old Republic.
The year 2017 was primarily marked for Star Wars: The Old Republic by improvements. Instead of providing a lot of new content, the developers tried to change existing systems. For example, the Group Finder became the “Activities” window and now tempts with daily rewards for different types of gameplay content.
Many players also express disappointment that there was no full-fledged expansion last year, as the release of Knights of the Eternal Throne took place in 2016. Instead of really big content updates in the form of an expansion, there were only small patches that continued the story, but could not satisfy the fans’ hunger for long.
Exploit ruined the economy of the servers
In December, there was even a particularly severe exploit that has severely damaged the economy of SWTOR. Players could buy special “gifts” for just a few credits and then sell them back at a higher price – to the same vendor. Billions of credits were created from nothing, and the global trade network (the “auction house”) was heavily damaged. The developers are still working to contain the aftermath of this exploit.
Future of SWTOR – salvation in 2018?
After the past year brought only a few innovations, fans are already fixated on the announcement of the roadmap for 2018. Basically, it’s about time for a full-blown expansion with a new campaign and perhaps a few new planets along with a hub. A larger operation would also do the game good, where bosses are not only released every few months.
2018 will be a decisive year for SWTOR – can it attract new and old fans again, or is BioWare slowly running out of energy?
In summary, one can say that 2017 was not exactly the best year for SWTOR, as there was little content, but many improvements. Perhaps the long breath will pay off, as the numerous updates will be beneficial in the future – only fresh content and more story are still needed to utilize the many improvements.

Kenny Omega is a Canadian-born wrestler currently competing in NJPW – New Japan Pro Wrestling. For the main event of a huge event in Tokyo, he dressed up as Osiris from Destiny 2.
Fit, Flying Super Nerd
Kenny Omega (34) is known to be somewhat of a fit, flying super nerd. His real name is Tyson Smith and he was born in Winnipeg, Canada. He borrowed the wrestling name Kenny Omega from the “Omega Weapon” in Final Fantasy. As the US site Polygon reports, Kenny Omega learned Japanese specifically to read his favorite manga. He is also into Street Fighter and apparently into Destiny.
Omega is not only an excellent athlete in the ring but also an enthusiastic fan of video games and extravagant appearances. This past weekend, he entered the ring in full cosplay as “Osiris” from the Destiny 2 DLC “Curse of Osiris,” complete with gun and helmet.
Osiris is a mysterious, legendary Warlock in Destiny, fascinated by the robotic Vex and their culture.
Omega faced off against wrestling star Chris Jericho (47), who rose to fame in the North American wrestling league WWE. Jericho is also not exactly the model Japanese figure. The match took place during the large event “Wrestle Kingdom 12” in Tokyo, which attracted more than 30,000 spectators, making it the biggest draw for NJPW in the last 15 years.
Kenny Omega and Chris Jericho had the main event, the main match of the event. Omega was able to prevail after about 30 minutes of fighting.

Kenny Omega, at about 1.83m and 92 kilograms, is not exactly small and skinny, but he could seem so against the most famous Destiny fan among wrestlers.
He had over 10 banned accounts because he was noticed for toxic behavior in League of Legends. Now Tyler1 is finally allowed back in the Rift.
Those who express racist remarks in League of Legends, insult other players in various ways, or intentionally disrupt games will be shown the door. At least that’s the theory.
The player “Tyler1” streamed a lot of League of Legends in 2016 and was particularly noticeable for his toxic behavior. Insults and unsportsmanlike conduct were the order of the day. After being banned for more than a year and a half, Tyler1 can now prove himself and gets a new chance in League of Legends.
Tyler1 unbanned – Back in LoL
On his Twitter account, Tyler1 proudly shows that he was finally unbanned in LoL “after 613 days of intensive rehabilitation”. His League of Legends stream is set to restart on Monday. Fans are excited to see if they will see a new Tyler1. After all, in the past, he mostly attracted attention through negative actions.

Tyler1 is known as a talented LoL player, masterfully controls the champion “Draven” and won many games on his own. Tyler1 was able to impress with his skill in the MOBA but his streams were accompanied by a sour aftertaste.
He regularly insulted teammates or opponents, trolled in matches or deliberately ran into enemies so they could kill him. All to entertain his viewers?
His stream quickly gained popularity; people would say, “You have to check out this troll” and laughed at his antics. Probably also because they themselves were not the victims.
The developers at Riot Games took notice of Tyler1. The devs initially found his questionable entertainment factor to be secondary. His toxic behavior simply went too far for them.
Gradually, the developers banned several accounts of Tyler1, but he simply created new accounts to play. Then in 2016 Riot Games slammed the table and issued a identity ban for Tyler1. This means that not only are noticeable accounts banned, but every account created by this player is banned.
Survived with PUBG and IRL streams
Now Tyler1 could no longer entertain his viewers with his LoL games. Therefore, he turned to other games like PUBG and some of his viewers stayed with him. As a streamer, he gained a foothold and regularly gained new followers. He now has over 900,000 followers on his Twitch channel and streams various games there or does IRL streams where he chats or participates in video formats with other LoL greats like Imaqtpie.
League of Legends veteran David “Phreak” Turley stated that Tyler1’s ban could indeed be lifted if he “reforms”.
Tyler1 took this to heart and told his viewers he wanted to reform himself.
How seriously one could take this statement at the time, no one could say. After all, he gained attention as a troll. Was that his “true self” or is Tyler1 actually a nice guy who just knew how to make it as a streamer?
Insulting Tyler1 led to the dismissal of a Riot employee
In 2017, the topic of Tyler1 came up again concerning insults, this time surprisingly from the other side:
In October 2017, a Riot employee wrote in a Discord chat that the “Tyler1” case caused him a lot of stress and stated: “It’s okay, he’s going to die anyway from a cocaine overdose or testicle cancer from all the steroids… after that we are Gucci.“
As a result of this statement, Riot Games parted ways with this employee.
After this incident, Tyler1 received an email stating that they wanted to review his accounts that he played on in recent months. If these were found to be “clean” and “not ban-worthy”, Riot Games would unban him.
On Twitter, he now shared the news that his ban was indeed lifted and he could play League of Legends again after 613 days. This news quickly went viral on Reddit, receiving over 47,000 upvotes. In the Reddit thread, Riot employee The_Cactopus commented:
“As already mentioned, we do not comment on the ban status of ID banned players. Without any reference to that, I would like to mention that my desktop looks really clean today.”
To that he linked the following image, where you can see a mousepad from Tyler1’s merchandise store.
The inscription “Reformed” shows that Tyler1 took the matter of reforming very seriously.
A warlock is ignoring a raid group. He is taking down a current boss in WoW all by himself!
Raids are among the most challenging and demanding content players can tackle in World of Warcraft. Generally, at least nine other players are needed to truly progress successfully. However, this doesn’t seem to be necessary for all fights in Antorus, the current raid.
The most controversial fight in Antorus, the Burning Throne is the encounter against Eonar – or rather about Eonar. Because the soul of the titanic lady must be protected from the approaching demons, who press towards her from multiple paths.
There is no actual boss in the traditional sense, only a large number of trash mobs that must be defeated before they get too close to Eonar. If this is not done, or if the enemies survive too long, then the damage to Eonar becomes too great and the boss fight is considered a failure.
The warlock Krieglocke apparently set his goal firmly in mind. According to his own statements, he needed nearly 70 attempts before he finally succeeded in protecting Eonar and claiming the rewards for victory.
Unfortunately, there is no kill video of the action. However, Krieglocke uploaded the log of his fight to warcraftlogs, which breaks down the fight in detail and proves that this miracle really succeeded.

Capcom has announced a third beta for Monster Hunter World. This one is again exclusive to PlayStation 4. It introduces the new monster Nergigante. Additionally, there is new information about the content plans for Monster Hunter World after the release and a fresh trailer.
As Capcom announces in a press release, another beta phase for PlayStation 4 will be released. The now third beta will start on January 19 and run until January 22.

In FIFA 18 Ultimate Team, the winter transfers are coming. The players who change clubs during the winter transfer window 2017 / 2018 will also switch clubs in FUT 18. All the information is available here.
In Germany, the winter transfer window is open until January 31, 2018. Until then, the Bundesliga clubs have time to strengthen their squad for the second half of the season.
Worldwide, hundreds of professionals have already changed clubs in winter 2017 / 2018. To reflect these events on the real transfer market in FUT 18, the winter transfer period in “Ultimate Team” mode will soon begin. EA Sports will gradually release winter transfer cards in FUT 18 throughout January and early February.
Therefore, players are not only changing clubs in reality, but also in virtual football.
Winter transfers in FUT 18 are good for your squad planning
In FIFA’s Ultimate Team, there are two periods when EA Sports extensively updates the clubs and leagues on player cards:
During the summer transfers – when a new FIFA installment is released
During the winter transfers – that is, in January and early February
The winter transfers take place during a FUT season. Transferred players receive fresh cards: the winter transfer cards. The only difference between the new and old standard cards is that the club and possibly the league are updated. Everything else remains the same: The overall rating and stats remain unchanged.
This means you will have more options to create teams with high chemistry values. Perhaps a player you have wanted for a long time will switch to the league you are targeting for your Ultimate Team.
Release of the winter transfer cards – When will they be available?
The winter transfer cards will not all be released at once in FUT 18. They will be rolled out gradually in “batches”.
As the transfer window in many countries closes at the end of January, most transfer cards will be released in early February. In previous years, more than 1000 players were transferred in FUT during the winter.
No official release dates have yet been announced. The first batch of 259 cards was released on January 10, 2018. The largest batch of winter transfer cards is expected on February 1.
Here you will find a list of winter transfer cards, which will be updated gradually. Included are Mario Gomez, Sandro Wagner, and Simon Terodde.
How do I get a winter transfer player in FUT 18?
Once a player receives a winter transfer card, this card can be pulled in packs. The “old” cards of this player will no longer be available in the sets from that moment on.
You can also acquire a winter transfer card on the transfer market from other players.
Important: If you already own a card of a player who has changed clubs, that card remains unchanged. The cards in your possession will not be updated.
An example: If you have a card of Sandro Wagner, his club remains Hoffenheim and his league is the Bundesliga. However, after the transfer in FUT 18, all Wagner cards you pull from the sets will be associated with FC Bayern.
How long will the winter transfer cards be in the sets? Until the end of FIFA 18.
Are the winter transfers the winter upgrades? No. The ratings for the winter transfers remain unchanged.
What happens to the “in form” cards of the transferred players? The previous IF cards remain unchanged. Future IF cards will come with the new club.
What about the Ones-to-Watch cards? These remain unaffected by the winter transfers. However, once an OtW player receives a TOTW card in the future, the OtW card will be updated with the new club.
Can you own both player cards, one with the old club and one with the new club? Yes, but only one of them can play in a squad.
If you can’t find some winter transfer players in the sets: The player may have transferred to a club that is not licensed in FIFA 18. If a player moves from an unlicensed club to a licensed club, they will also be missing.
Thechance of a winter transfer player in the sets remains as likely as the chance of the player’s card previously.
What advantages do winter transfers offer me? With the new player cards, new combinations for your Ultimate Team are possible. The chemistry with the transfer developments is exciting.
