Whether the action RPG Monster Hunter World (PC; PS4, Xbox One) will be released on the Nintendo Switch is uncertain. However, the developers at Capcom do not want to let the hope for a Switch release die completely.
The Monster Hunter series has often been present on the Nintendo 3DS in the past and has many followers among Nintendo fans. Therefore, many Nintendo gamers hope for a port of Monster Hunter World on the Nintendo Switch.
So far, the game is only planned for the Playstation 4, the Xbox One, and later in the fall for the PC.
Unfortunately, the developers at Capcom have bad news for Nintendo fans …
Focus on PS4, Xbox, and PC, not on Switch!
In an interview, Kaname Fujika, the co-director of Monster Hunter World, spoke about the Switch version: According to the developer, nothing can currently be said about a Nintendo version of Monster Hunter World. A port for Nintendo hardware is currently not on the agenda.
The aim is to adapt Monster Hunter World perfectly to the hardware of PS4, PC, and Xbox. However, they want to keep the Switch in mind for the future and consider a later port. When and if that will ever happen remains to be seen.
As a consolation, Japanese Switch players currently only have a remaster of the previous title Monster Hunter XX.
Fans skeptical, Doom and Wolfenstein can do it too!
Many Nintendo fans are understandably upset by this news. Many players want to see the latest installment on Nintendo as well. Furthermore, many players doubt that the Switch cannot handle Monster Hunter World.
After all, Bethesda has also managed to get their high-gloss shooters Doom and Wolfenstein running on the Switch. A version of Monster Hunter World should certainly be possible technically as well.
Therefore, some players suspect a conspiracy between Capcom and the Playstation manufacturer Sony behind the Nintendo exclusion. After all, both companies have several crossovers already in the works.
On the other hand, there may eventually be a completely own Monster Hunter title just for the Switch. Then the abstention from Monster Hunter World wouldn’t be so bitter.
In The Division, we present a powerful healer build in 1.8. This way you will become a valuable healer for your team.
In the history of The Division, it has always been difficult to create a strong healer build. You relied on buggy skills like the support station, where the healing effect or reviving always had problems. Additionally, other builds were simply overpowered, making it hardly worthwhile to take a healer.
With update 1.8, most healing bugs have been fixed, and the variety of builds is now greater than ever, so you can now create a strong healer build. YouTuber MarcoStyle introduces it in the video; we will provide the information in German afterwards:

This healer build is designed for you to keep your team alive in PvE and especially in PvP. It is therefore mainly recommended for playing in a group. It is not suitable for solo agents.
The most important ingredient of the build is the secret reclaimer set. You need all six pieces of this set to receive the following bonuses:
2-set bonus: +30% more range for the support station
3-set bonus: +50% duration for the support station
4-set bonus:Talent – All mods of the support station are active at the same time
5-set bonus: +15% range for the support station and +25% duration for the support station
6-set bonus provides three things:
+50% health points for the support station,
+100% healing speed for the support station
Moreover: If the support station is destroyed by an enemy, there is a 40% chance that the skill has no cooldown and can be used again immediately. For every 3000 electronics, the chance is increased by 20%.
The secret reclaimer set revolves entirely around the support station. Just with this, you provide an excellent healer; however, the build can be significantly optimized.
The stat bonuses on the armor pieces:
Chest piece: Stamina and bonuses on health points, skill haste and ammunition capacity
Mask: Electronics with bonuses on skill power and burn resistance
Knee pads: Electronics with bonuses on health points and several resistances
Backpack: Electronics with bonuses on skill power and one resistance
Gloves: Electronics with bonuses on crit chance, assault rifle damage and skill haste
Holster: Bonus on skill haste
For mods, you should focus everything on electronics and skill haste. The performance mods should increase the range of the support station.
Overall, you should have over 9000 electronics, preferably higher. You need 9000 to bring the 6-set bonus to 100%, so you immediately receive a new support station when the enemy destroys it.
The weapons of the build
Your task is to heal your allies and not to inflict damage. The choice of weapons is therefore secondary. Ideally, take these:
M4 – Light version with Gifted (Eliminating a target with this weapon increases skill power for 20 seconds by 15%), Competent (Weapon damage is increased by 10% for 15 seconds after using a skill) and Determined (Eliminating a target reduces the cooldown of skills by 7.5%). The talents are designed for skills.
M4 – Light version with Gifted, Competent and Receivable (Damage is increased by 10% at a distance of less than 10 meters to the target). When enemies are nearby, you can switch to this M4.
For the weapon mods, you should increase headshot damage.
The skills of the build
The skills:
Support station
First Aid with Overdose – This allows you to heal yourself and your team with overhealing
Recovery Link
The character talents:
Triage: Heals an ally with a skill to reduce the cooldown by 15%
Rescue Medicine: Use a First Aid kit at low health points to increase damage resistance by 20% for 10 seconds
Field Medic: Use a First Aid kit near allies to heal group members within a 20-meter radius by 40%
Counter: Reach low health points to decrease the active cooldown for skills by 20%.
This is how you keep your teammates on their feet!

The information about Content Patch 4.2 of Final Fantasy XIV is piling up. The update is coming at the end of January and, according to the official promotional page, will also include new mounts and improvements for the composition feature. A fashion critic is also making his way to Eorzea.
New Additions to the Final Fantasy XIV Vehicle Fleet!
Players will receive three new mounts with the launch of Patch 4.2 “Rise of a new Sun”:
The Wolf Kamuy will traditionally be obtained from the extreme mode of the fight against the new primal Byakko.
Where to obtain the Urgeif and the Magitek Death Claw is still a mystery.
New Sounds for Bard Compositions
The composition feature introduced in Patch 4.1, which allows bards to reproduce their favorite pieces, will receive a substantial update in 4.2.
Not only is the interface and key mapping being revised, the development team also aims to reduce the delay between input and sound playback.
Additionally, bards will get three additional timbres to experiment with: piano, flute, and stringed instrument.
Are you fabulous enough for Final Fantasy XIV?
The saying “Glamour is the true endgame” is just a running gag in the Final Fantasy XIV community, but the development team has decided to address it. With Patch 4.2, they will implement the new mini-game “Fashion Critique” at the Gold Saucer Casino.
The NPC named “Masked Rose” will weekly test whether you meet Eorzea’s fashion standards. Players will need to dress in color and theme to receive a good rating from the Masked Rose.

Patch 7.3.5 of World of Warcraft brought many secret changes that are not mentioned in the patch notes. We reveal to you what has happened in Azeroth!
Since yesterday, January 17, 2018, patch 7.3.5 of World of Warcraft is active. In addition to the extensive patch notes that we presented to you in this article, there are also numerous smaller changes that Blizzard did not mention. Either because they are too small, these are small Easter eggs, or the developers simply forgot to include them in the patch notes.
The undocumented changes from patch 7.3.5
However, the community does not miss such details for long, so all discovered changes have already been listed on Reddit and Wowhead. We will tell you here which undocumented changes have sneaked into patch 7.3.5.
Changes in leveling and the scaling world
The health points of opponents at all levels have been drastically increased.
Heirlooms now have slightly worse attributes.
The required experience between levels 10 and 60 has been increased, up to 60% at some levels.
Cold Weather Flying and Wisdom of the Four Winds have been removed.
Command boards now have small story introductions for their respective areas.
New content
Silithus: The Wound – There are new collectible items, such as Silithid pets and the Robes of the Doomcaller
A hidden scenario involving the undead Draenei Uuna (still unknown)
Quest line for the Postmaster with rewards such as a title, a pet, and a toy
Other things
The first random battleground of the day now grants Awakening Essences.
Baine, Nathanos, Saurfang, and Gallywix have received new models.
Some low-level weapons with unique skins have been added to the game as quest rewards.
Many enchanting materials have been removed.
The moonkin form of druids now has a sitting animation.
The weekly quests on Argus now grant 1,000 reputation with the Army of the Light and the Argus Assault each.
Elite quests on Argus now grant reputation for both factions (Army of the Light and Argus Assault)
The Flame Leviathan in Ulduar can no longer be bypassed
The health points of bosses from raids (Wrath of the Lich King, Cataclysm, Mists of Pandaria, and Warlords of Draenor) have been drastically increased.
In the old world, there are now more intense weather effects.
Have you discovered any other changes that Blizzard did not include in the patch notes?
In Destiny 2, one of the best weapons in the game is available for purchase since the recent vendor reset.
Since mid-December, it is possible in Destiny 2 to directly purchase items from the vendors in the Tower and in the various worlds. Previously, you could only redeem the faction tokens for engrams and hope for random drops.
Now, the vendors each have five pieces of armor and one weapon available for purchase directly with Legendary Shards and specific tokens. However, keep in mind that you may need to unlock these by opening enough engrams with the respective vendor. Only then can you buy the items.
While the armor pieces remain the same, the weapon changes weekly. There is therefore a “weekly vendor weapon reset”. And this week, it is especially worth visiting one vendor.
Head to Zavala if you are missing the weapon
Commander Zavala is now offering the legendary scout rifle Midnight without Name. This kinetic weapon is considered one of the best weapons overall – both in PvE and PvP. Many prefer this gun over the MIDA Multi-Tool.
The reason: Midnight without Name comes with excellent perks:
Precision Frame: The recoil behavior is vertical
Explosive Payload: Projectiles create an explosion upon impact
Stable Rounds: Significantly increases stability, slightly decreases range
This makes Midnight without Name a stable scout rifle that is excellent to control. Additionally, it deals considerable damage with the Explosive Payload, making it an overall strong weapon.
If you do not already own the scout rifle, definitely take the opportunity. It plays excellently.
Midnight without Name costs 20 Legendary Shards and 10 Vanguard Tokens. Play Strikes to collect these.
Midnight without Name
More vendor weapons this week:
Lord Shaxx: Quick Sun’s Wane (Hand Cannon) – A SUROS Hand Cannon with full auto and Zen Moment.
Asher Mir on Io: Berenger’s Memory (Grenade Launcher)
Devrim Kay in the EDZ: Complex Solution (Sword)
Sloane on Titan: Negative Space (Sword)
Failsafe on Nessus: Mos Epoch III (Rocket Launcher)
Fortnite: Battle Royale (PC, PS4 & Xbox One) is a huge success for developer Epic Games. But this comes at the expense of another Epic title: the action MOBA Paragon.
This is actually a cause for celebration at Epic, but unfortunately, the success has a price…
The success of Fortnite comes at the expense of Paragon
Before Fortnite was released, Epic’s big project was the high-gloss MOBA Paragon. It featured fast-paced battles in a futuristic setting with beautiful Unreal Engine graphics.
Paragon was never a big hit – the MOBA genre is highly competitive: But thanks to regular updates and many redesigns, Paragon was able to maintain and engage a dedicated player base.
However, fewer updates and innovations are now coming to Paragon than players have been used to. Ironically, this change began with the success of Fortnite. So, does the development of Fortnite come at the expense of Paragon?
Developers pulled away for Fortnite
Indeed, Epic employee Edgar Diaz recently confirmed the concerns of Paragon fans on Reddit. There, Diaz explained that Fortnite is actually taking resources away from Paragon.
For one, the Paragon team is reportedly divided between short-term enhancements and long-term projects.
And indeed, some developers have been moved from the Paragon team to the Fortnite project. The tremendous success of Fortnite ensured that those individuals stayed there.
The same applies to Epic’s game Unreal Tournament. Developers have also been pulled away for the battle royale mode of Fortnite.
Recipe for success for Paragon still not found
Furthermore, Diaz’s statement that they still have not found the optimal recipe for success for Paragon is disheartening. However, they want to continue working on the game and think about how to make the MOBA more successful in the coming weeks.
The fans of Paragon feel disillusioned by these statements. Some view the success of Fortnite positively for the studio and other projects there. But the majority of players see Epic Games in the future as a purely Fortnite studio, and the other games of the developer as virtually dead.
Our author Robert takes on the challenge: What is it like to play Monster Hunter: World for someone who has never held a game from the series?
As a long-suffering Destiny player, who finds it increasingly difficult to dodge the hurdles Bungie wants to throw in my path, I am always on the lookout for new games that can captivate me in the long term.
I want to dive deep into a world where there is a lot to do and discover. Monster Hunter: World seems perfect for this. The game is set to release worldwide on January 26, 2018, first on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One – a PC release is also planned for Fall 2018.
We at Mein MMO are already allowed to take a look at the release version and report on up to a certain point in the story.
As a newbie, I have deliberately avoided informing myself about the old installments. I have only picked up that I will have to deal with increasingly difficult and larger opponents, from whose remains weapons and armor can be crafted.
This is supposed to provide long-term motivation and the grind that I painfully miss in Destiny 2. So how do the first hours of the new installment play out from the perspective of a total noob? Let’s find out!
Note: The following text contains minimal spoilers from the first hours of the story. Proceed at your own risk!
Setting off into a new world – for me and my alter ego!
Since I am completely uninitiated in the ways of Monster Hunter, the first few minutes leave me confused. It seems I am on my way to a new world – and the journey turns out to be quite a disaster by the end.
What happened to the “old” world? What exactly am I supposed to do in the new world? Questions to which I still have no answers after two hours. That’s not a problem; as a big fan of the Souls series from From Software, I’m used to figuring out the background story of a game myself.
I don’t know if the world of Monster Hunter games is always the same or if every installment reveals a new world – but as a newbie, I am motivated to learn more about the world and the story behind it.
In between, I get to create my character – and for that, you should plan a lot of time!
The Character Editor – endless possibilities
I spend more than an hour just designing my character and my Palico. At this point, I did not know what role the Palico plays – a cat-like creature – but it looks quite adorable.
Later, I learn that the Palico seems to be a kind of companion that also assists me in battle and even has its own equipment. This adds more depth to the fights, even if I am of course not entirely clear about the full extent of it yet.
Yes, you can create such characters
But back to character creation. The possibilities are endless. You can change the face as you see fit. The entire color spectrum is also available for eyes, hair, and beard. The various facial features can be changed and repositioned at will.
As I am blessed with the talent of always creating a character who remains alone in online lobbies due to his appearance, a man with silver hair and red eyes emerges – complete with a scar on his face. Go big or go home.
https://youtu.be/eCHzFaXizYA
I can also let loose with the Palico. The fur can be given different patterns, and the colors are fully configurable. If you’re in a hurry, you can also simply select a randomly generated character and Palico.
The way to the base – like Kimble on the run
After some dramatic scenes, I finally land in the new world. I need to find a large base camp. Since I had already admired a small glimpse of the local fauna, I felt quite naked and lost without a weapon.
The path to this base camp is linear. While I familiarize myself with the controls, I experience a first taste of the local wildlife – which does not seem friendly.
Without adequate slicing tools, I unfortunately have only the option to flee. And this escape is excellently staged. Two heavy chunks cross my path and are at each other’s throats. Here, for the first time, I notice the size differences between human and creature. Am I supposed to hunt these beasts later? Cool!
I receive help from a local. He carries a great sword that makes Cloud’s Buster sword from Final Fantasy VII look like a toothpick. My first thought upon seeing the weapon: “I want that thing too!”
With the help of the sword-swinging stranger, I manage to escape to the base.
The camp – the center of Monster Hunter: World?
The base camp feels like the social hub of the game from the first moment, with all the threads coming together here:
Equipment management
Purchase and upgrade of new weapons and armor
Numerous NPCs
Quest acceptance and management
The camp could easily serve as a small town, but the relevant points of interest are quickly internalized. Navigation is made easier by the always displayed mini-map.
However, there isn’t much time for exploration – after several cutscenes, I gain access to my own dwelling, complete with a household Palico and loot chest. I can use this chest freely.
Thus, I acquire my first weapons and a bulky armor set that I immediately equip (you want to be prepared against the big beasts).
Practical: I immediately have the opportunity to test my equipped weapons in a specially set up training area. This is useful, as each weapon allows for different combos that need to be practiced.
After trying out a few weapons, I decide on a combination of sword and shield, as I find quick attacks suit me better than the cumbersome movements of a great sword.
The first quest – down with the lizards!
The first quest turns out to be relatively simple. I need to hunt seven representatives of the species that chased me through the forest at the beginning of the game. I am supported by the adventurer who saved my behind earlier.
The combat system strongly reminds me of From Software’s Souls series. Whether it also offers the steep learning curve remains to be seen. The item and equipment management shows similarities. The setting, however, is fundamentally different. While the Souls games dominate depressive moods and dark colors, Monster Hunter: World is at least sunny and friendly in the starting area.
Fights feel similar to those in Dark Souls, but the setting is fundamentally different
The lizards are quickly defeated. The dead bodies of defeated monsters can be looted. Apparently, the enemies drop multiple items, as I was able to obtain three different materials from one type of monster.
I could immediately use these in the forge at the camp to further upgrade my weapon. That’s how it should be: A successfully completed battle, with rewards that directly improve my attributes.
I have not seen much of the world of Monster Hunter: World yet. However, I can hardly wait to finally challenge the big creatures and, above all, learn more about the background story of the game.
If you happen to encounter a confused-looking hunter stumbling through the underbrush, it is very likely me. Be nice to me; I’m still learning!
With the new patch 7.3.5 in World of Warcraft, the health point scaling of bosses has changed. This also affects older bosses, where solo farming for transmog gear or mounts has now become significantly harder or even impossible. Blizzard admits to a mistake and announces improvement via hotfix.
The new patch 7.3.5 in World of Warcraft should improve various aspects of the game. However, there were unintended side effects when the HP scaling of opponents was revised. Players noticed that this also affects old bosses from earlier expansions. As Blizzard now confirms, they are already working on a solution.
HP scaling of MoP and WoD bosses will be adjusted
The impact that the new calculation of opponent health points has on old content has been discussed by players since the release of patch 7.3.5. This is particularly noticeable in raids from Warlords of Draenor and Mists of Pandaria.
In this older content, many players typically soloed through raids taking down bosses to acquire special style gear or mounts. However, this is currently hardly possible, as the raid bosses have become too powerful due to their high health points.
Bosses that previously had 12 million HP now have a staggering 200 million HP due to the update.
In the forum, Blizzard explains that these changes were not intended to result in this outcome.
“It was not our intention to increase the difficulty for transmog or mount runs for solo players so significantly. It is a side effect of the health point adjustments of the opponents we made for leveling players. We are already working on a solution that will significantly reduce the health points of MoP and WoD bosses.”
The solution is hoped to be deployed to the live servers of World of Warcraft before the weekend.
The EX Raids in Pokémon GO have already frustrated many trainers because they are so valuable yet so opaque. Members of the trainer community create lengthy analyses that deal with the EX Raids. Now there are initial results on the criteria for selecting the corresponding gyms.
When Niantic introduced the EX Raids in Pokémon GO, some trainers were excited about the chance to catch rare monsters there. In EX Raids, trainers can currently catch the monster Mewtwo. However, you first need to find a gym where these special adventures take place and be invited to these exclusive battles.
Because the Pokémon GO developers at Niantic do not reveal exact details, the community is taking the decoding of the EX Raid puzzle into its own hands.
New Insights about EX Raids
In the following article, we want to show you current insights originating from the community on Reddit and PokémonGOHub. Reddit user Tntnnbltn made significant efforts by compiling his analysis from over 1000 EX Raids for TheSilphroad community. Based on his research and collaboration with the community, some criteria can now be established that qualify a gym for EX Raids.
EX Raids occur in Level 20 S2 cells. Each of these cells can contain only one EX Raid per “invitation wave”. We will show you what these S2 cells are shortly.
EX Raids only occur in gyms that are either sponsored or marked with specific park keywords on OpenStreetMap.
S2 Cells?
The so-called “S2 cells” are a way to divide the world map. When dividing into programs, you can specify the size of the cells. Level 0 represents huge (worldwide) and Level 30 is particularly small.
The community found that these S2 cells are frequently used by Niantic to determine aspects such as weather, biomes, or spawn points of Pokémon. According to recent findings, the developers used the S2 cells at Level 20 (thanks to our readers) to determine the selection of EX Raid gyms.
It is known that an EX Raid gym is either sponsored or meets certain “park” criteria on OpenStreetMap. On OpenStreetMap, you can mark certain areas. However, a “park” is not just a park; there are various classifications for it. So far, 17 “tags” have been confirmed that designate gyms as parks and thus qualify them for EX Raids.
What looks complicated at first glance can be applied with a few clicks to individual regions. For simplified searching, trainer Tntnnbltn created a search query with the corresponding values for the Overpass-Turbo website. This search query will navigate you to Overpass-Turbo.eu
If a gym is within a Level 20 S2 cell and in the blue marked zone, it qualifies for an EX Raid. This does not mean, however, that you can trigger an EX Raid there 100% of the time. Only that the mentioned criteria are fulfilled.
Raiding a Lot, Even in Groups
PokémonGOHub recommends that you conduct raids only at the gyms located in “parks”. Additionally, raiding as a group is more effective than solo raiding. These are important tips for triggering EX Raids at specific gyms. We will link the complete guide from GOHub and trainer Tntnnbltn in the sources of this article.
All the prerequisites do not guarantee that the gym will become a site for EX Raids. Trainers continue to research this puzzle. Additionally, it likely takes a crucial stroke of luck for you to receive an invitation to one.
It is a science in itself that the experts engage in to uncover the secret of EX Raids. Furthermore, many factors remain unclear that are still being investigated.
The work the community is doing is remarkable and will certainly be observed by Niantic. Will the developers change the requirements once the secret to qualifying for EX Raids has been unveiled?
After all, the exclusive raids are supposed to be something special. We are excited to see what discoveries will circulate on this topic in the coming days or weeks.
The PS4 received the update 5.05 today, on January 18th. You can find the patch notes and the download size of this system software update here.
A new system software update is now available on PlayStation 4 (Thursday, January 18, 2018): The update 5.05.
The download size is approximately 375 MB.
You must download and install this update before you can play online and use the online features of your PS4. Since the installation process may take several minutes, you should plan for this during your evening and perhaps start the console a few minutes earlier to avoid keeping your friends waiting too long.
What changes with update 5.05 on PlayStation 4? – Patch notes
The patch notes are quite straightforward. Sony lists these “main features in update 5.05”:
This system software update improves system performance
This is just another update that improves the performance of your gaming console. Sony is working a little on stability. You should not expect any changes that affect your gaming experience.
However, sometimes things change that are not mentioned in the patch notes. For example, some icons in the main menu have already been replaced. Currently, though, no “secret changes” have been noticed. If you discover something, you can write your find in the comments.
Until you have installed the update, you can read some interesting articles here:
The next Overwatch patch brings a lot of new skins. Who wouldn’t want a Gothic D.Va with cat ears?
Next week, on January 23, 2018, a new patch for Overwatch will be released. Although the highlight of the next patch is clearly the new map “Blizzard World”, where players can experience a Blizzard amusement park, the update has even more to offer.
On Twitter, Blizzard has now begun to gradually introduce previously unknown content. They start with a range of new spray logos, featuring the heroes in cute “Chibi” illustrations.

However, those who look closely will notice some peculiarities in the spray logos: Most representations of the various heroes do not even exist in this form in the game yet!
D.Va becomes an anime cat girl with a Gothic dress
For example, one can spot a D.Va who appears to be wearing a black Gothic-style dress and also has cute cat ears – anime fans are likely to be jumping for joy. Other skins, such as the Nova skin for Widowmaker or the Barbarian skin for Zarya.
Whether all the shown spray logos will actually receive a corresponding skin remains to be seen. However, Blizzard has raised expectations.
The special thing about the new skins that will be released next week is not just their crazy appearance. All skins of the next patch will be available in regular loot boxes!
Nova Widowmaker
Many players have complained that collecting loot boxes outside of events no longer brings joy, as they have long since obtained the sought-after skins. The upcoming patch should provide these players with new incentives. According to the current status and the reactions from the community, it seems that Blizzard is achieving this.
Are you excited about the new skins? Will you buy them directly with credits? Or will you diligently collect loot boxes after the new patch?
Patch 7.3.5 not only excites players of World of Warcraft. Fans are shouting: The dungeon opponents have too many hit points!
With Patch 7.3.5 for World of Warcraft, there are several problems. Not all changes have been well received by the fans. Especially one bug is causing many players to have no fun leveling up at all.
The opponents in regular dungeons have abnormally high hit points.
Healers report that fights last between three and four minutes and they even run out of mana – during completely normal trash groups. While some players now think that this is “exactly what players have always wanted”, there is a lot of protest in the forums. Blizzard has not yet commented on this, although a bug in the scaling technique is very likely here.
Heroic dungeons are easier than regular ones
This seems to be a bug, as evidenced by another thing: In heroic difficulty, the opponents have fewer hit points than in normal mode!
The players suspect that the values for opponents in the heroic and normal versions of a dungeon are swapped. This would at least explain why “normal leveling groups” are currently having such a hard time getting through the instances. A 15-minute visit turns into an all-evening program. Flashbacks to former visits in the Blackrock Depths return to memory.
However, some players point out that it could also be that the heroic mode is incorrectly set and not scaling. If that is correct, then in heroic mode the dungeons the opponents would receive a multiple of their current hit points in the future.
Have you checked the old dungeons of WoW since Patch 7.3.5? What do you think of the new hit points of the opponents? Is this a good change or a clear mistake?
Bungie comments on the missing faction weapons of Season 2 in Destiny 2. This is angering the guardians …
On January 16, the first faction rally of Season 2 started, where a variety of new rewards were supposed to be available. Bungie released an update before the launch so that all guardians – even those without the “Curse of Osiris” DLC – could access the new loot.
But when the rally went live, many guardians scratched their heads in confusion. They could open as many faction engrams as they wanted, but no new weapons dropped. They gathered on reddit and quickly found out: Yes, nobody is receiving new faction weapons!
Is there a bug here? Is this intentional by Bungie? It can’t be that there are no new faction weapons in the engrams?
A few hours ago, Bungie commented on this.
Yes, no new faction weapons are actually supposed to be in the engrams …
Bungie’s official Twitter account announced: The new faction rally weapons introduced with the Curse of Osiris are currently not available in the faction engrams. They will be made available throughout Season 2.

Community Manager dmg04 explained in a detailed post:
With the Curse of Osiris, 5 new weapons per faction were introduced, which will be available gradually.
In the first faction rally of Season 2 (right now) there is only the auto rifles as the winning weapon (one of them). No other new faction weapons can be earned.
In the second faction rally of Season 2 there will be new winning weapons. Additionally, the current winning weapons (the auto rifles) will be thrown into the loot pool of the faction engrams along with another weapon. This means you can earn two of the new weapons per faction through engrams.
In the third and final faction rally of Season 2 there will again be new winning weapons. The previous winning weapons will be added to the loot pool of the faction engrams along with another weapon. This means you can earn four of the five new faction weapons through faction engrams, and the fifth weapon is the winning weapon.
In the guardianship, the reactions to this design decision are unanimous: “What the hell?”
The community concludes that it is now absolutely pointless to participate in the faction rally. It is sufficient to play the last faction rally of the season. Because then you will finally have access to the new weapons – and the armor ornaments that can currently be earned can also be unlocked then.
The motivation to participate in the rally is therefore nearing zero. Social media is once again being flooded with negative comments towards Bungie.
Bungie apologizes
Another statement just came from Game Director Christopher Barrett. He apologizes: Yes, Bungie should have announced the new objectives for the weapon rewards in the faction rally before it returned. In his opinion, this would have avoided much confusion.
In the future, they will strive to communicate all changes to rewards before they go live.
What do you think about this? Are you still actively participating in the rally this week?
The new Pokémon GO update 0.89.1 for Android and 1.59.1 for iOS fixes the annoying bug in the Pokémon overview and brings changes to the game.
With a new update, the developers (finally) address issues that have been bothering players for weeks. There are also visual changes to some Pokémon, performance improvements to the game, a new loading screen, and better sorting options. This update is currently being rolled out and will be gradually released for different regions.
In the patch notes, the developers explain what has changed with the Pokémon GO patch.
Update 0.89.1 / 1.59.1 Patch Notes
Since one of the last updates, trainers have been plagued by an annoying scroll bug. After each sending, evolving, or renaming, the list of monsters would jump back to the top. This frustrated many trainers, as it led to a significantly higher time expenditure for smaller actions. This and other bugs have now been fixed by the developers at Niantic.
The Pokémon screen no longer jumps back to the beginning after each evolving, sending, or renaming
With a new option, you can now sort your Pokémon in your PokéDex by their region
The overview of egg incubators has been improved
The size of various monsters has been adjusted in some parts of the app
Various bugs have been fixed and performance improved
In addition to these official patch notes, data miners have taken a closer look at what else has changed in Pokémon GO with the update.
Update 0.89.1 Data Mining
The experts from TheSilphRoad have also taken a closer look at the update, as they do with every other Pokémon GO update. We summarize their findings here for you:
The annoying scroll bug is indeed gone
In line with the upcoming Community Day, which is just around the corner, one of the most irritating bugs in Pokémon GO has been fixed.
Pokémon Sizes
The experts confirm that now some large Pokémon in the game appear differently during encounters, in battles, or during dodge animations. The changes are said to be noticeable. According to initial reports, this also affects Kyogre, which is now supposed to be easier to catch.
Incubators
Finally, incubators have been grouped. Additionally, the infinite incubator is now at the top of the list.
PokéDex clearer
The new subdivision into different regions should make searching for monsters in the PokéDex easier now.
BUG fixes for AR+ mode
Map improvements
It seems that there are changes to the representation of streets, water, buildings, and parks. This is not supposed to be anything groundbreaking.
Side swiping improved
On many devices, there were issues when swiping to the side, for example in the raid lobby overview when scrolling between different participants. It seems that this function has been improved.
Shiny icons now in the overview
It is now even harder to accidentally send Shiny Pokémon. In the monster overview, small stars now appear above each Shiny you have caught.
PokéBall selection remembered
The game now remembers which PokéBall type you last used and activates it automatically during the next encounter. Experts disagree on whether this function is intended or a bug. So be careful which ball you use.
Performance improvements
Better performance is now achieved when completing multiple tasks, such as using a potion and the corresponding animation.

A new advertisement for the PlayStation 4 is supposed to showcase how real the world of Monster Hunter World appears. One might expect that Sony would display particularly beautiful images from the game for this purpose.
Instead, the advertisement features Japanese actor Takayuki Yamada, who immerses himself heart and soul into the game. In the TV spot, a colleague tells Yamada that Monster Hunter World seems so real. With the words “Let’s have some fun,” Yamada dashes off and transforms into a gigantic Nergigante! At least in his imagination.
Like a child, the actor jumps around, imitating various monsters from the action RPG. After Yamada showcases his powerful Nergigante swing, he drags a rock in front of him and imitates the screeching Kulu-Ya-Ku.
For the fluffyPaolumu, a fan is used, meant to represent the warm winds of the Coral Highlands . In the end, Yamada even shows so much physical effort that he buries himself in the ground to emulate the Diablos, as this lizard likes to attack from underground.
Finally, the wait is over: Epic has announced the release date for the big map expansion in Fortnite: Battle Royale. Starting Thursday, January 18th, you can blow each other’s lights out on the revamped map! We already have the patch notes for you!
This is something many players have been waiting for – the big update will go live tomorrow, Thursday January 18th. With this patch, Epic has fundamentally redesigned the map of Fortnite: Battle Royale and added new cities and locations. The highlight is the city Tilted Towers south of Loot Lake, which is likely to be the hottest landing spot in the coming weeks.
But that’s not all. In addition to the map update, there are various adjustments to weapons and gameplay. Read here what will change with version 2.2.0!
Changes to Weapons and Gameplay with Update 2.2.0
From now on, no assault rifles with scopes will drop from supply drops. In addition, Epic has improved the scope; it should now be easier to use the weapon.
In addition to some improvements to smoke grenades and Boogie Bombs friendly fire remains disabled for the time being. However, Epic leaves open the possibility of handling this differently in the future.
Furthermore, revives have been prioritized. Instead of picking up items, you will now revive a teammate who is among dropped gear.
As previously reported in detail, the map will be expanded with many interesting points. But that’s not all. The visual effects have also been improved. Players now interact with grass and bushes as they move through them.
Dusty Depot finally receives ammo crates! The amount of resources when breaking down shipping containers has also been increased.
Fortnite Update Aims to Improve Performance
Regarding performance, Epic has reportedly made significant improvements:
Level streaming is now supported. This loads the environment as you move through it, allowing for a fuller map with better performance.
The frame rate has been improved by significantly reducing the number of objects to update.
Loading times have improved significantly. On PS4 and Xbox One, it should now take more than twice as fast to load a match!
Loading assets before player search is now completed faster.
There are now significantly fewer stutters during the minute-long memory clean-up.
Objects updated during the day-night cycle now cause significantly fewer stutters.
The professional players of the Overwatch League influence the “casuals”. New strategies and hero picks are being accepted.
The Overwatch League is in full swing and attracts hundreds of thousands of viewers on Twitch to watch the matches of the pros. Watching the pros with their lightning-fast reactions has an interesting side effect – new strategies are accepted by an ever-growing mass.
Actually, the meta in Overwatch is quite set in stone. If you take a Widowmaker or a Bastion in the attack, you’ll at best be met with mockery, at worst with insults and even threats of being “reported”. But ever since the team of Seoul’s Dynasty took an insane combination of 2 snipers and a Bastion on an attacking payload map, players have accepted attempts to replicate those grand plays.
Sure: In most cases, it goes horribly wrong. But just the fact that the Overwatch League has such an influence on “normal” players is a great thing. A relaxed approach to new ideas and also the courage not to always stick with the same 10 proven heroes will surely benefit the game and the community.
Professionals as role models
Other players, on the other hand, try to completely copy their idols. This was experienced first-hand by player Pine from the team New York Excelsior. Since he made his debut in the League with McCree and shot his way into the hearts of fans, many players have been purchasing this skin for McCree and trying to replicate the miracle themselves.
While this doesn’t always succeed, the excitement generated for these players is almost palpable – even if the hit rate is nowhere near as high as that of the pros. Pine, however, impressed with his lightning-fast reactions and his anticipatory actions – such as in the following moment when he precisely targets the opposing Tracer for a fraction of a second.
