If you’re in need of new sports shoes and are a big PlayStation fan, Sony and Nike have something for you.
The American PlayStation blog featured basketball player Paul George. He sees himself as one of the greatest gamers in the NBA, for whom the PlayStation has played a significant role in his life since childhood. Therefore, he is excited to announce a very special collaboration.
The passionate gamer teamed up with Sony and Nike to develop sports shoes inspired by the design of a DualShock 4 controller. In other words, sneakers in PlayStation style will be hitting the market soon. They are called: PG-2 PlayStation Colorway.
These are the glowing PlayStation sneakers
On the front, on the “tongue” of the shoes, are glowing logos:
The left shoe features the PlayStation logo in blue
The right shoe showcases Paul George’s personal design logo in blue
The LED lights have three settings: Off, On, and Pulsing. You can see the glowing symbols with their settings here in the video:

On the insole, the logos are also depicted, with the background themed “PlayStation Galaxy”: The famous colors of the PlayStation buttons adorn the eyelets of the laces, and the geometric shapes of the PlayStation buttons (circle, square, triangle, X) are illustrated on the outer side of the shoes. You can find some close-ups of the shoe and more design info in the video embedded above.
A special gimmick of the shoes is that on the heel of the left shoe, there is a PSN code. This can be redeemed in the PlayStation Store. The reward is a dynamic “Paul George” design for the PS4.
The PlayStation shoes are set to release worldwide on February 10, 2018.

McCree – in an elegant combination of blue and silver, along with his “Deadeye” symbol.
Reaper as a devil with horns on a new mask and summoning runes on the cloak.
Junkrat as a demolitionist, additionally with the colors of a danger signal – that can’t hurt him either.
Symmetra in even darker blue with some embellishments.
Zenyatta as a “evil” omnic in black-green.
The skins featured in the tweet all fall under the “epic” category and are, as far as one can tell, recolors of the standard skins, with particularly nice embellishments. They will each cost 250 credits and can be found starting tomorrow, January 23, 2018, in the regular loot boxes – after the patch goes live.
Cortyn thinks: To be honest, the skins don’t wow me as much anymore, but that’s probably just because I’ve become quite spoiled. At least I like McCree’s skin quite a bit; I will probably regret it when I have the others in a loot box – one is never satisfied. However, having more items in the loot boxes in the future is definitely a good thing.
How do you like the new “epic” skins? Nice variations of the already known skins? Or are they boring without any additional extras?
In Destiny 2 the Tractor Cannon is “the other shotgun”. What makes this Exotic special, how does it perform in PvP and PvE? Now you can purchase the weapon.
On January 19, 2018, Xur brought a weapon for the first time that every Guardian should have played with: The Tractor Cannon! For 29 Legendary Shards, you can now buy it – until January 23 at 6 PM.
Already in early gameplay footage that appeared in the months before the launch of Destiny 2, the “Tractor Cannon” was visible. At that time, people wondered what kind of weapon this was. It knocked multiple enemies back with a single shot and looked like a misshapen piece of a spaceship that was left over after assembly.
Meanwhile, we know: It is a shotgun – a somewhat different shotgun with a special look and perk.
How to Get the Tractor Cannon – How You Can Obtain This Exotic
There are several possible locations for the Tractor Cannon:
What makes the Tractor Cannon stand out in Destiny 2?
The Tractor Cannon is an exotic shotgun that is used in the power slot. It deals Void damage.
The impact power is 65 – which is identical to the impact power of a “Hawthorne’s Field-Forged Shotgun”. The rate of fire, however, is individual and lies at 84 instead of 90 like the other shotguns of this archetype.
Otherwise, the stability of the Tractor Cannon is excellent. The reload speed and range are poor. Here are the stats:
Here are the special perks:
Repulsor Force: The weapon fires a strong impulse that knocks enemies back.
The Scientific Method: Dealing damage to an enemy briefly increases the speed and handling.
Is the Tractor Cannon Worth It in PvE and PvP?
The Repulsor Force perk allows for a unique playstyle in Destiny 2. Because the Tractor Cannon does not fire pellets like other shotguns, it instead fires an impulse that pushes enemies back a few meters:
In PvE, the Tractor Cannon shines especially against enemy hordes, as it can push multiple enemies back or directly kill them at once. One can attribute crowd control capabilities to it. However, against thick bosses, the weapon looks poor. These cannot be knocked back by the Tractor Cannon. Additionally, the damage output is too low.
In PvP, you can use the impulse to knock opponents off the map. The downside is, however, that it does not guarantee one-hit kills like other shotguns. These are only possible from very close range. If you push opponents against a wall, you can also achieve direct kills.

The biggest advantages in PvP are probably that it provides surprise moments and fun for the user and can simply push enemies running at you away.
However, the Tractor Cannon is really only useful from very short distances. If the enemies are only a few meters away, the power of the Tractor Cannon dissipates. Especially in high-level content, one should avoid standing directly next to enemies, making the Tractor Cannon definitely only seen as a fun weapon in PvE. It is not a top-tier weapon; there are better alternatives, especially in the form of rocket launchers that are also useful at range.
Conclusion: If you do not have the Tractor Cannon yet, do not hesitate and grab it from Xur now. Cool weapon with cool design, but not a must-have weapon.
And: Those who have been pushed away by Taken Phalanx enemies in their Guardian career will finally be able to take revenge with this weapon!
PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds (PC, Xbox One) has a new superstar. The Korean pop artist Jung Joon Young wants to dedicate himself to his eSports career in PUBG and joins a pro team. It is unclear whether this is serious or just a PR stunt.
The dream of many people is to become a pop star. But what to do when you have already fulfilled that dream and are already a pop star? Then you simply seek a new dream and pursue it with the same ambition.
Such is the case with Jung Joon Young, a K-Pop star who would rather be an eSports player.
Shooting instead of pop songs
Jung Joon Young is a successful pop artist, songwriter, and actor from South Korea. The 28-year-old wants to be even more and recently announced that he is pursuing a career as an eSports player.
To this end, he joined the famous eSports organization Kongdoo. One of Kongdoo’s most successful teams are the LoL professionals of Kongdoo Monsters.
Serious career change or marketing ploy?
However, it is not entirely clear whether Jung Joon Young will permanently trade the microphone on stage for a frying pan in PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds. Young’s record label C9 Entertainment is also involved in the deal with Kongdoo.
So it could also be a clever marketing stunt that cleverly combines the Koreans’ passion for eSports and K-Pop. In any case, there are some professionals in the PUBG team from Kongdoo.
https://youtu.be/WvPuTW5SBtw
Among them is “Evermore”, who won the solo tournament in PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds at Gamescom 2017. So Jung Yoon Young is likely not in this professional team “just for fun”.
That Jung Joon Young is a passionate gamer is hardly questionable. For instance, he made headlines in 2016 because he was busy hunting the little monsters upon the release of Pokémon Go.
For a long time, level 200 of the Palace of the Dead in Final Fantasy XIV was considered unreachable for solo players. Now, the first player has managed to do it.
After over a year since the release of levels 51-200, player Usagi Mimi from the Carbuncle server is the first player to reach the deepest level of the Deep Dungeon alone!
The maps of the individual levels and the enemies that appear on them are randomly generated with each entry.
Your own equipment cannot be brought along. Instead, you receive Padjal weapons and armor that are upgraded within the dungeon.
A checkpoint only exists every 10 levels. If you wipe before level 30 or fail to reach it within the allotted time, you must start again at level 20.
The palace-exclusive enchanted clay vessels contain various buffs and bonuses (e.g., +30% attack) that make the descent easier.
If you wipe on levels 101 and above, all progress is reset back to level 51.
Producer Yoshida said about the palace that it is intended as a challenge for the players. According to him, only the best of the best can reach the lowest level alone.
However, there is no special reward for it – apart from a title and a crafting item.
The hardcore players of the Free Company “Elysium” managed to reach level 200 as a group on the release day, while the solo ranking was silent for a long time.
The Hardest Content in Final Fantasy XIV
The combination of strict rules and randomly generated levels required players to adopt an extremely careful and balanced playstyle.
That’s why Usagi Mimi chose the Red Mage as her job for the descent.
Before the release of the job in the Stormblood expansion, there was a general belief in the community that it was impossible to reach level 200.
The existing jobs simply lacked the perfect balance between damage output and survivability to navigate through the multitude of enemies and traps in the palace.
But even as a Red Mage, success is by no means guaranteed, as you also need some luck. What matters is which clay vessels you collect along the way and which enemies you encounter on your descent.
However, determination and skillful handling of the job have led Usagi Mimi to victory. Hats off to this unique achievement!

To unlock the expensive vehicles and aircraft in GTA 5 Online, you will need to grind for a long time. Too long? The high prices regularly spark discussions within the community.
The online world of GTA 5 Online is regularly updated with new content like cars and planes. However, not every player can afford to purchase these immediately, as a super sports car can cost several million GTA dollars.
Here we show you which vehicles are the most expensive and how long you will need to grind for your fleet.
Over 600 hours of grinding to unlock all vehicles in GTA 5 or €3000
YouTuber Broughy1322 has taken a look at the most expensive vehicles in GTA 5 Online and calculated that you will need to grind a lot to unlock them. He references all regular garage vehicles and the vehicles required for your specific businesses: such as a biker club with a clubhouse or a CEO with a hangar.
Those who know GTA 5 Online well and own the right businesses can earn about 500,000 GTA dollars per hour. The total cost of vehicles and aircraft in GTA 5 Online, without discounts, is a staggering GTA$ 317,986,549. Tuning and garages are not included.
In converted real money, acquiring the vehicles and aircraft costs about €3000 in Shark Cards.
According to this calculation, it takes at least 636 hours of pure gameplay time, focusing solely on grinding for money, to be able to pay for all vehicles and aircraft.
In addition to these play hours, you also need to add “downtime” in terms of loading screens, which tend to be long in GTA 5 Online.
If you grind for one hour a day, you will need nearly two years to unlock all vehicles and aircraft.
The most expensive vehicles in GTA 5 Online
Many expensive vehicles have appeared in the last updates that you can purchase. However, the most expensive one is an aircraft that has been a staple in GTA 5 Online. When calculating in-game prices, we consider the “normal” costs, excluding purchase price discounts or promotional actions. The conversions to euros reflect the current Shark Card prices without discounts.
Rank 5 – Tula
The Tula aircraft is among the newest content in GTA 5 Online and costs 5,173,700 GTA dollars. This is roughly equivalent to €55 in Shark Cards.
Rank 4 – Ruiner 2000
The Ruiner 2000 has been available in GTA 5 Online for a while. The car is equipped with a parachute and jump mechanism and costs 5,745,600 GTA dollars. This is approximately €65. Hence, it is the most expensive car in the game.
Rank 3 – RM-10 Bombushka
This aircraft, like the Tula, is also part of the newer content in GTA 5 Online. For a price of 5,918,500 GTA dollars or about €70, the RM-10 can be yours.
Rank 2 – P996 Lazer
This jet can actually be stolen at Fort Zancudo airport. But Rockstar brought this jet back and sells it for 6,500,000 GTA dollars. This translates to approximately €75.
Rank 1 – Luxor Deluxe
The Luxor has been available since the “Ill-Gotten Gains Part 1” DLC, which made its way into the game on June 10, 2015. The Luxor Deluxe costs a staggering 10,000,000 GTA dollars, or about €115. However, don’t expect too much from this luxury plane. Aside from draining your account, the plane doesn’t have any special features.

Game developers are losing their passion for their profession – and we gamers are to blame for that. A hostile climate dominates the discussion around gaming.
Anyone who wants to be a game developer these days and is still keen to engage with the community and the players must meet a lot of requirements. The biggest requirement that didn’t exist a few years ago is: A thick skin against hate and insults.
No matter where you look, whether on Twitter or YouTube, developers are being insulted and attacked fiercely everywhere.
The Internet is to blame
The fact that many developers are now treated this way is mainly due to the Internet and how it has evolved. In the early years, it was still a place for the exchange of opinions and respectful interaction, but that has drastically changed within a few years.
Morgan Jaffit, the founder of the indie studio Defiant Development (Hand of Fate and Hand of Fate 2) writes in a long blog post where he sees the problems of today. The tweets included here also come from the blog post (see sources).
A significant part of the blame he attributes to the Internet itself. Because the fact that every person is only a click away makes it easy to hurl nasty things at each other.
Angry players often wish the worst things upon developers: diseases, accidents, assaults, attacks.
However, it is important that Jaffit does not see the entire player base as responsible, but like many other developers, the 0.1% of players who can openly express their hate on the Internet without filters and moderation.
YouTubers like AngryJoe or Jim Sterling are part of the problem
Jaffit sees two major problems:
On one hand, YouTubers like AngryJoe or Jim Sterling have made it acceptable to express harsh and loud criticism of game developers. Those who shout about the injustices in the industry reach an audience that cannot be reached with nuanced criticism – This harsh tone has now become the standard.
In addition, almost all places where discussions about video games take place are unmoderated – on Twitter or Steam, anyone can come through with the harshest attacks and insults without fearing consequences.
Players perceive outbursts as “okay”
However, according to Jaffit, the biggest problem is that many players have now accepted the outbursts:
Although many of them do not act against developers themselves, there is a large number of players who believe that the developers have brought this upon themselves. A “shitstorm” with insults and threats would occasionally be perfectly fine.
A smaller group of people even holds the opinion that there are situations in which it is okay to “threaten the lives of developers.”
An even smaller segment believes that it would be acceptable to release the personal information of the respective developer and even target their family.
The fact that more and more people believe that such behavior is “perfectly fine” should give us all something to think about.
Indie developers have it particularly hard
Jaffit states: Indie developers are often hit the hardest here. While there is a trend among fans to focus more on indie titles that have not fallen victim to the “greed of the market,” it is precisely the indie game developers who suffer the most from the hostilities.
Unlike large developers like Blizzard or BioWare, there is no community manager filtering the feedback between indie game developers and players. Insults, hostility, or even threats hit the developers unfiltered.
There needs to be a change in mindset
Mein-MMO believes: Sure, only a very small percentage of players behave like the proverbial bull in a china shop, but it is precisely this segment of gamers that causes developers to increasingly ask themselves: Is the work I am doing still worth the stress? Should I still engage with the players?
It is important that a change in mindset takes place in these areas. Even if it should be a given, some parts of the player base need to remind themselves that developers are just humans trying to do their best at their jobs.
A little respect and a polite tone will surely achieve more than insults and hostilities. Because that only leads to developers losing the passion that once brought them to this profession. And in the end, developers stop listening altogether.
At the moment, we are living in an era with the wonderful opportunity to directly connect with the developers of our hobbies. We should not squander this chance by driving developers to avoid contact with fans altogether. But that is exactly the point we are heading towards.
Anyone who is fluent in English should read Jaffit’s entire post. It is linked in our sources.
How do you behave towards developers or other people on the Internet? Do you ever lose your temper? Or do you find such behavior to be good and necessary?

The former story chief of WoW comes to the conclusion that Legion is great – even now, since he is no longer working on it.
Developers are often convinced of their own games – anything else would be surprising. But what about former developers who now play an evolved game that they no longer work on?
Over a year ago, Chris Metzen left Blizzard to retire early. The reasons for this were manifold – he was burned out, struggled with panic attacks, and simply wanted to spend time with his family again.
During his recovery from an operation, Metzen apparently found plenty of time to dive back into “his” old game World of Warcraft and explore the areas of Legion. In the meantime, he has reached the endgame and is actively raiding, even though the last raid, Antorus, is still missing.

His conclusion so far: Legion is a masterpiece. It would bring him the most fun he has ever had in the endgame of World of Warcraft.
Later he explained that it is a nice change to be able to look at World of Warcraft from a distance and simply experience the game as a player. Although he was involved during the rough planning phase of Legion, it is a nice thing to recognize all the details.

Chris Metzen was considered one of the most creative minds at Blizzard, largely responsible for the Warcraft universe.
Although Chris Metzen no longer works at Blizzard, he still appears in new patches from time to time, as he remains a voice actor, for example for the elemental lord Ragnaros, King Varian Wrynn, or the former warchief of the Horde, Thrall.
Do you share Chris Metzen’s opinion and see the endgame of Legion as the best that World of Warcraft has ever had? Or do you have a different opinion?
In The Division, the exotic LMG Big Alejandro has been in the game since update 1.8. Is it worth it?
On the public test servers for update 1.8, Big Alejandro made a big impression: It was a new LMG that blazed through enemies with an extremely high rate of fire and solid impact. Massive reacted and nerfed the gun before it hit the live servers. Is Big Alejandro still recommendable?
Big Alejandro – What the Exotic can do
You obtain Big Alejandro randomly from all sources that can drop Exotics, such as exotic containers or in the Underground. So, you need luck – there is no specific location or quest to guarantee getting the LMG.
Big Alejandro is an exotic LMG. It has the highest rate of fire of all weapons in The Division at 1000 RPM, but it also has the lowest damage per bullet of all other LMGs. However, since the rate of fire is almost twice that of the other LMGs, Big Alejandro has enormous damage potential per magazine.
Here are the stats of Big Alejandro:
The magazine holds 55 rounds
The reload time is a hefty 5.5 seconds.
Big Alejandro can only shoot fully automatic.
The gun has two random talents as well as the exotic talent:
Cover Shooter: Each bullet fired from cover increases weapon damage by 0.5% up to a maximum of 50%. The bonus lasts for 10 seconds. A kill with this weapon from cover resets the duration of the effect. The bonus damage expires once you reload, switch weapons, or leave combat.
To benefit from the talent, you need cover where you can stay for a while. First, extend the magazine significantly over 100 rounds, then kill enemies to keep the talent bonus active, dealing enormous damage.
Is Big Alejandro worth it in PvE and PvP?
Big Alejandro is no longer as overpowering as it was on the PTS, but it is still worth bringing this weapon into battle.
The initial recoil is quite massive, so you will miss some shots at greater distances. However, the weapon becomes easy to control when you are in continuous fire. Unfortunately, there’s no underbarrel mod available to increase stability.
Due to the “Cover Shooter” talent, the weapon benefits from staying in cover for longer periods. Therefore, Big Alejandro really unfolds its full potential in PvE, where you can barricade yourself and continuously shoot at the approaching enemy masses. This makes Big Alejandro a recommendable weapon in PvE.
In PvP, however, the fights usually occur without cover and at close range. Here too, Big Alejandro can shine as you can pump enemies full of bullets at close range. The damage output is enormous due to the high rate of fire. The exotic talent rarely comes into play in PvP, which is why you might prefer other weapons here.
For a build centered around Big Alejandro, you should focus on an extended magazine and stability. Use the secret set pieces from Lone Wolf, Destroyer, or Predator’s Mark, increase LMG damage on the gloves, and make sure to boost the damage output of the LMG.

All in all: Yes, Big Alejandro is a strong weapon that you can have a lot of fun with, especially in PvE. However, there are more effective alternatives. The MG5 (in PvP) and the Mk249 (in PvE) are strong LMG alternatives, and nothing beats the M4 assault rifle in update 1.8.
Do you already own Big Alejandro? What do you think of the LMG?
In Fortnite (PC, PS4 & Xbox One) seems to have crossplay between PlayStation 4 and Xbox One possible again. Is it a bug that came with the latest update V.2.2.0?
Crossplay and Fortnite have a long history. Because contrary to usual practices, it has been possible twice in the past for players on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One to play together.
Until now, Sony has always been strictly against it, while Microsoft appears as a strong advocate of crossplay. The developers at Epic Games are “Pro Crossplay” and advocate for “the players’ right to crossplay“.
This fits with the latest development, as apparently crossplay between the two consoles is possible again.
Is crossplay a bug from V.2.2.0?
Since the latest Patch V.2.2.0 of Fortnite, there are increasing indications of crossplay in the game. A player reported on Reddit that he saw another player in the Xbox lobby with a strange skin for his constructor.
The corresponding skin version is exclusive to PlayStation 4. How else, if not via crossplay, could this guy enter an Xbox lobby?
The second case also involved the Xbox lobby, where a player appeared with a hyphen in his name. However, such special characters are not allowed on Xbox. However, this was supposed to be a PC player. According to the official Fortnite website, this is also not possible.
Are PC players a problem in crossplay?
As great as crossplay between Xbox, PlayStation, and PC is, there are also problems. Last weekend, some players on PlayStation complained that they were taken out one by one and hardly had a chance to fight back.
The assumption: It was PC players who are now also playing on consoles thanks to crossplay. With mouse and keyboard, you can aim much more precisely than with gamepads. Hence the massacre of the console players.
If crossplay between PC and consoles is to remain in the game, the developers urgently need to come up with something to balance this disadvantage.
Will crossplay stay this time or will it be removed with a hotfix?
It seems that crossplay is back in the game. It was accidentally implemented in September 2017 and fixed again with a hotfix. In response to a corresponding tweet from Epic, Xbox chief Bill Spencer replied back then, “I would have preferred if it had stayed on.”
So it remains exciting whether and how long crossplay will stay in the game. We have already inquired with Epic Games. Should we receive a response, we will publish it here.
Since Patch 7.3.5, leveling has become fun again. We reveal which WoW areas you should take a leisurely look at on the side of the Alliance.
With Patch 7.3.5, Blizzard made some significant changes to the game world of World of Warcraft. All zones in Azeroth, the Outland, Northrend, Pandaria, and Draenor now scale with the character’s level.
This allows new characters to fully experience quest areas and complete the story of each zone without the character’s level being too high already.
Many players have set out to level some twinks and truly enjoy the old areas.
The Most Beautiful Leveling Areas on the Alliance Side
But which zones in World of Warcraft are worth it? Which stories are worth reading the quest texts and stopping for the small NPC events?
After all, many players don’t even read quest texts; they just hammer “Accept” and travel to the marked spot on the map.
In this article, we want to briefly introduce you to the areas with the most beautiful, exciting, or funniest quest lines – today in the version for the Alliance.
After the Cataclysm, Stormwind is unable to supply the outer regions of the kingdom. Life in Westfall is tough; the people literally feed on dirt and long for someone to give them hope again. However, that is not the player. Because while trying to help the inhabitants of the area, it quickly becomes clear that a once-hostile organization is rising again from the shadows to save the beleaguered people.
Duskwood (20-60)
Dark and oppressive is the atmosphere in Duskwood. No sunlight penetrates through the dense treetops, while wolves, worgen, and zombies trudge through the night. The small town of Darkshire struggles to survive despite the numerous threats. Help eliminate the dark machinations in the forest – or become an unwitting helper of evil and lead the downfall of the human settlement.
Redridge Mountains (15-60)
If you enjoy classic series like “The A-Team,” you might experience a nostalgic high in the Redridge Mountains. Lake Town is plagued by numerous problems, such as gnolls and orcs. An old “hero group” has now grown tired and no longer wants to deal with the problems. However, with the player’s help, they once again march into battle while featuring plenty of slapstick moments. For instance, a wizard is promptly demoted to the engine of a boat that he must power with a flame strike…
Darkshore (10-60)
The once beautiful elven area of Darkshore has been completely devastated by the Cataclysm. Cities lie in ruins, and even the elemental forces are so confused that permanent whirlwinds arise and ravage the land. While supporting the night elves, you attempt to alleviate the suffering of the land, give the dead their last rest, and even encounter a demon hunter for the first time. Even the naga queen Azshara is causing trouble for the land, necessitating the intervention of none other than Malfurion Stormrage…
Swamp of Sorrows (35-60)
Theramore has actually been destroyed by Garrosh. There seems to be nothing left to do in the Swamp of Sorrows. “Actually” is a word that holds no meaning for bronze dragons! If you want, you can travel back in time to the past of the Swamp of Sorrows and experience firsthand what problems this Alliance outpost had to face. In addition to ogres, dragons, and experimenting goblins, there are also some curses in this eerie swamp that require a cool head to resolve.
Grizzly Hills (63-80)
No area in Northrend compares to the beauty of Grizzly Hills. The music and surroundings invite you to linger and are somewhat detached from the scourge of undeath that otherwise reigns in Northrend. In addition to the beauty of the area itself, there are also interesting quest lines. Tracks of Old Gods can be found, interesting facts about the summoner of the worgen, Arugal, come to light, and even remnants of the Old Gods can be spotted.
In Grizzly Hills, you can let your soul unwind.
Dragonblight (61-80)
In Dragonblight, the great dragonflights have their small sanctuaries – but like all of Northrend, this area is also overrun by the undead scourge. You must help the various flights, but at the same time ensure that the Alliance can secure its positions in Northrend. And then there are also the remains of the Scarlet Crusade, whose fanaticism drives them further into the army of those who want to exploit them. Those who stay in the zone until the end will even be rewarded with a unique cinematic that once again reminds them why the Alliance should never trust the Horde!
The Jade Forest (80-90)
The Jade Forest is the starting point for the journey to Pandaria. Both Horde and Alliance want to conquer the new continent – this very conflict simmers in the Jade Forest. The Alliance teams up with a strange race of fish people and tries to suppress their negative emotions. This doesn’t always work; you will witness a gruesome massacre where drowning people are simply slaughtered. The Jade Forest is a grimly beautiful mix of inviting nature with beautiful Pandaren culture and the cold, merciless effects of war.
Uldum (83-90)
If you like Indiana Jones, you will love Uldum. Much of the area is filled with stories alongside Harrison Jones, revolving around the discovery of long-decrepit temples and mechanisms. However, the dialogues with Jones’ rival, the goblin Schnottz, who tries to turn the old ruins into a tourist attraction to fund his search for magical artifacts, are what make it truly entertaining. Not to mention that the Tol’vir, a people deeply connected to the Titans and the creation story of life on Azeroth, are also present in the zone…
No matter how you plan the leveling phase of your new Alliance character – you should definitely check out the areas mentioned, as they contain many interesting or funny stories!

Capcom has already announced that there will be free DLCs with new monsters after the release of Monster Hunter World. It is also known that the first DLC monster will be Dämonjho (Deviljho). The free expansions will be released at regular intervals and provide hunters with new challenges. Additionally, new emotes are expected in the expansions.
There will also be special online event quests added. Capcom announced that they want to collaborate with others for these quests.
There will also be paid DLCs. These are expected to only contain cosmetic items such as new emotes, skins, face paints, and stamps for the chat.
New screenshots show Poogie and monster battles
Along with this information, Capcom also released a few new images from Monster Hunter World. These show:
Poogie, the pet pig
The forest guardian, along with a hunter and an unknown woman with dark hair
Ancient Siberia is a survival MMORPG that has entered Early Access via Steam and offers some interesting and unusual approaches.
Ancient Siberia transports you to the Slavic fantasy world of Tartaria, based on ancient Siberian myths and legends.
You experience the history of this world not just through quests as known from other MMORPGs, but by finding hidden birch bark tablets on which tales and myths are written down. Thus, you learn more about the world and what is happening in it.
Everyone was a child once
Another interesting aspect is the fact that you do not start as an adult hero, but as a child. In childhood, you learn all the essential skills, but cannot participate in PvP or be attacked by other players. Only when you have grown up do you face the dangers of Taratria.
This feature is not yet implemented in the current Early Access phase, but it will be added soon and is intended to provide an interesting introduction to the MMO.
Other interesting features include:
Large sandbox world with 400 km² (currently 100 km² are accessible)
Actions have consequences: If you rob a merchant, you become a bandit and a bounty is placed on you
Active combat system or automatic targeting
Ships to transport goods and people across the water
Gathering resources
Crafting
Building houses and settlements
Enchantments and magic via runes
Survival: Craft essential items and find food to survive
PvP
Clans and guilds that influence the world together
Hidden quests: Quests are not obviously indicated by exclamation marks above NPCs, but arise from situations, for example
There is still a lot to do
Ancient Siberia is still in a quite early development phase and many of the planned features have not yet been implemented. The developers aim to create a large, vibrant world that is influenced and further developed by the players.
The Early Access version of the MMORPG costs 14.99 euros, currently the game is available at a discounted price of 7.49 euros.

What do you do when you find yourself stranded on Mars? Of course, you try to survive. And that’s exactly your task in the upcoming online survival game Memories of Mars.
Actually, Mars was quite populated – at least the fictional Mars in the online game “Memories of Mars”. Around 100 years in the future, the Red Planet was the target of colonization. Until something terrible happened. The colonists had to leave Mars, but not everyone managed to be evacuated. You are among the few who were left behind – Why? Because you are not actually a human, but a clone.
Survival on Mars
Memories of Mars is basically a typical survival game set on Mars. As is common in this genre, you collect resources in a hostile environment to craft useful items. In addition, you build a shelter that serves as a storage for your resources and crafted items. Moreover, the shelters are supposed to protect you.
Because many dangers lurk on Mars. These include solar storms that cause significant damage to anyone caught outside during a storm. You combat hunger and cold as well as mysterious NPCs that you occasionally encounter.
Who can you trust?
Furthermore, you will encounter other players and must always act cautiously. Because you never know if another player wants to attack you or cooperate with you. Together you build a larger base and gather resources more quickly. This includes the so-called “Flops” that you can grab during special events and are valuable and useful.
Over time, you will explore more of Mars. The vast, open area is 16 square kilometers and offers 85 locations to explore.
Your tasks in the game include:
Exploring a landscape of 16 km²
Gathering resources, including Flops
Establishing a base
Cooperating with other players
Fighting NPCs
PvP
Early Access soon
A Early Access phase of Memories of Mars is expected to start this spring via Steam.
The developers will announce a specific date soon, they are also known for the building game Tropico 6 and the RPG Might and Magic X: Legacy. If you sign up now on the official website for Memories of Mars, you will receive the blueprint for the CZ 457 rifle, which will be useful to you at the beginning of the game.

and at least the return of random perks in the form of masterworks
to give. But these are not the only planned “innovations” that Destiny veterans may recognize. Over the past weekend, game director Christopher Barrett was happily tweeting and teasing more features.
Exotic quests, old exotics, and old PvP maps might return
In Destiny 1, there were some cool secrets, including “secret exotic quests” that could only be mastered on certain days or required a lot of effort and teamwork. At the end of the quests, special weapons like the Black Spindle or the Outbreak Prime awaited.
Via Twitter, a Guardian asked whether such secret quests would return in Destiny 2. They had been brilliant; why are they missing in Destiny 2? After all, they led to some of the best “community moments” in D1 when Guardians managed to get their hands on these weapons.
To that, Barrett replied succinctly: “Yes” – such quests will return.
Black Spindle
When asked whether more exotics from Destiny 1 will return, Barrett wrote: “Yes. New exotics have a higher priority, but we will also bring back some of the old favorites.”
Furthermore, a user asked whether the Guardians would receive old D1 maps like Bannerfall, The Anomaly, or The Burning Shrine. To this, community manager Cozmo stated that he would communicate this wish to the team.
Bungie will thus continue to recycle more content from Destiny 1 and integrate it into Destiny 2. The return of old maps has not yet been confirmed, but many Guardians assume it anyway. Possibly, the 6v6 mode will predominantly take place on the “old” maps.
What are your thoughts on this? The fact that Bungie is planning exotic quests again will likely be welcomed by most – as long as the exotic rewards are indeed “exotic”. But do you really want old exotics and old maps back – or rather genuinely new content? What old content would you like to see return in Destiny 2?
By the way: Barrett briefly addressed the problem that shaders cannot be dismantled quickly and in groups. There are technical challenges that prevent a quick fix. A dedicated blog post on this will be published soon.
Blizzard has literally patched the fun out of World of Warcraft. Many NPCs now remain silent.
When deploying update 7.3.5, not everything went smoothly. Numerous bugs sneaked into the current version of WoW, players are raging in the forums and on Reddit. There are reports of severe frame rate drops, certain aspects of transmogification were lost, and the health points of old raid bosses were initially bugged.
But even more bugs have crept in. One of them was discovered on Reddit by user Keydiam. Apparently, Blizzard has disabled the so-called “Poke-Lines” for many NPCs.
What are Poke-Lines in World of Warcraft?
At Blizzard, it has been a tradition since the early days of the first Warcraft games that players can repeatedly click on characters in the games. After a while, the phrases “Hello” and “What can I do for you?” become increasingly annoyed. The characters even insult the player or tell little jokes or funny anecdotes from the respective game world.

With patch 7.3.5, many NPCs have lost their Poke-Lines. When you click on the NPCs repeatedly, they only repeat their “ordinary” phrases, such as friendly greetings. Even clicking a hundred times does not elicit any insulting or amusing words from them.
However, there are still some exceptions: The guards of Dalaran and certain vendors still react with irritation.
Although there is no statement from Blizzard yet, it will very likely be a bug. Because new phrases were recorded for patch 7.3. To deactivate these comprehensively now would be extremely strange.
Did you even know about these “Poke-Lines”? Or did you never notice them while playing?

Additionally, online services on Ubisoft websites and in the Ubisoft forums are affected. Thank you for your patience while the infrastructure is being improved.
The final of the Hearthstone Championship between the Taiwanese Tom60229 and the American Fr0zen has just taken place. It looked good for the man from the USA at the beginning, even confetti was already raining down. However, the tide turned.
Both players laid the groundwork beforehand, especially regarding the Mage decks. These were hardly seen in this form before the event. Now, the Mage decks will surely be copied and seen in many Hearthstone games.
Analyst vs. Wild Card in the Hearthstone Final
The tactical understanding distinguishes both players, although Fr0zen and Tom60229 embody different player types:
Tom operated more on the classic track in the tournament. His moves were unremarkable, yet efficient. He only needed 18 games to reach the final, often winning with scores of 3:1 or even 3:0.
Fr0zen’s situation was different: he needed a total of 24 games. His playstyle is bolder, more surprising – but also more reliant on luck – as seen in the Water Elemental Madness.

During the first two matches, Fortune was still benevolently behind Fr0zen. Already in the first game, he fortunately drew the perfect combo at the literally last moment: the “Arcanist Constructor” granted him the much-needed armor through the Flamestrike. Otherwise, he would have died on the next turn. However, he won this match.
After the second match won, everything behind the scenes seemed to be poised for victory: Early confetti showered the scene in celebratory sparkle. Joyfully, it rained down on Tom, who understandably could only look somewhat dismally at the confetti with the current score of 0:2.

Fortune also saw the happy ending coming and preferred to go to bed early. Unfortunately, too early for Fr0zen.
“It’s always Spider-Time”
While the audience and the accompanying chat cheerfully waved the USA flags and people were eagerly anticipating Fr0zen’s third victory, Tom simply drew the better cards while Fr0zen took daring steps. Although he knew that his opponent still had Leeroy Jenkins in hand, he did not protect himself with more armor. That ultimately dealt him the death blow.
With the score at 2:2, Tom also chose the Jade Druid – and was able to build his jade creatures faster than his opponent. With stoic calmness, he laid the cards on the table and pressed Fr0zen more and more. 2018 will probably be the year of Jade in Hearthstone!
“If I weren’t here on stage, I would be crying right now…”
In the end, the early confetti rain did indeed find the right man, and the Hearthstone world can look forward to a world champion with a slightly cumbersome name, but with much ambition and tactical skill.
Tom celebrated his victory appropriately with the trophy and admitted he would probably cry if he weren’t standing on stage.
The title match was a worthy final with an exciting twist and a deserving winner! Did you watch the match as well? Are you now also considering a Jade Druid?
As soon as the Overwatch League started, the first critical voices were raised. It is not about the matches played so far or the players themselves, but rather about the system behind it. eSports legend Emil “HeatoN” Christensen now expresses his criticism in an online magazine.
Since Christensen founded the Counter-Strike clan “Ninjas in Pyjamas” in 1999 together with Tommy “Potti” Ingemarsson, he has been active in the eSports field. Over many years, he secured a spot in the top 3 with his respective teams and even reached the pinnacle of the shooter several times.
Over time, he witnessed the change within eSports. In mid-2007, he ended his active playing career and has been working as a team manager ever since.
Clear Criticism of the “Plastic” League
Christensen is critical of the now-emerging Overwatch League. His article “Overwatch League smells like plastic, American money” has now been published in the magazine Metro. There he highlights Blizzard’s high ambitions to establish a successful league but points out the disadvantages that the chosen approach might entail.
For this, he draws a comparison of Overwatch to eSports surrounding Counter-Strike. The teams formed there have grown organically over the years and were able to build an honest fanbase that is interested in them and the sport.
“The teams and stars have reached the top after many years of hard work and have thus become ambassadors and carriers of eSports. They have developed into a brand that cannot be bought with money,” Emil “HeatoN” Christensen
Blizzard, on the other hand, tries to do the exact opposite: wants to buy everything with money. Twelve organizations had to “forcefully” form their teams with an astonishing sum of 20 million dollars – and were not allowed to keep their original names.
Christensen sees in this preparation of the teams not only artificially produced plastic but also a danger for the future of eSports. For him, anyone should be able to reach the top, regardless of their background, thanks to training and strong will. Blizzard’s induced monopoly prevents this.
“I believe that this monopoly aims in the opposite direction of the inclusivity that our sport actually embodies. For me, what was appealing about Counter-Strike was that no one ever cared about where you come from,” Emil “HeatoN” Christensen
He expresses concern about the direction Blizzard has taken and believes that Overwatch will pay a high price for not allowing its players and the league to grow organically. After the rise, the fall will still come.
A fight in the middle then fully decided the game. While Team Liquid appeared concentrated and as a unit, TSM did not make a good impression at the start of the season.

The victory was particularly sweet for Doublelift because the head of TSM, Reginald, had made a bet before the match. After his team’s defeat, TSM will now donate $15,000 to a charity chosen by Team Liquid.

For Doublelift, this was the “cherry on the cake.”
Because Reginald is responsible for the departure of Doublelift. He brought in the new Euro combo because he felt there was a communication problem in the old team.
Ironically: The very communication problem became apparent in the match against Team Liquid and sent TSM down the path to defeat.
The LoL pro Doublelift takes terrible revenge on Team Solo Mid, which disgracefully replaced him. It looks like 2018 will also be an interesting year in League of Legends esports.
The US pro Peng Yiliang, known as Doublelift, is 24, which is relatively old for a pro in League of Legends. The average age is 21.3 years.
In recent seasons, one is actually asking: When will Doublelift stop pro gaming and become a full-time streamer?
What is actually unusual about Doublelift is that he has been around for so long.
Doublelift – Professional in League of Legends since 2011
Doublelift started playing for Counter Logic Gaming in 2011 and played for Team Solo Mid from 2015 to 2017, which was long considered the best LoL team in North America. Doublelift excels in the AD-Carry role and has built a legendary reputation over the years. He was considered the best AD-Carry in North America for years, and he is still among the best in the country.
But apparently, TSM decided that it was time for a change and released Doublelift. He only found out about it when he read it on Reddit.
His team let him go and brought in the Dane Zven and the Spaniard Mithy, a dynamic Euro duo. They hoped for better communication from them.
The head of TSM, Reginald, thought: His team consists of technically excellent people, but the communication among them was weak. And communication is crucial for success in LoL nowadays.
Learned about the release on Reddit
How the dismissal occurred highly annoyed LoL pro Doublelift, and so he swore revenge. His goal for 2018: He wanted to show his former team TSM what he could do.
And the opportunity came soon. Doublelift joined Team Liquid, and as fate would have it, the North America League Championship immediately started with a match between Team SoloMid and Team Liquid. Doublelift played with Tristana, and it was a massacre.
After an impressive attack on the bot lane, the game was almost decided after 13 minutes, with a score of 4-0 for Team Liquid.
