New target audiences for FIFA can be best reached when the local leagues and clubs are represented in the football simulation. Players identify with their favorite club. If this club is in FIFA, it is a decisive reason for many whether to buy the game or not.
Therefore, EA wants to ensure that they will put together league license packages in the regions they want to develop as football markets in the future. Of course, they remain interested in advancing partnerships with the major established leagues. This is an incredible competitive advantage.
Concrete ideas for new markets are mentioned by EA’s CEO Andrew Wilson: In parts of China and in the Middle East, there are great opportunities for FIFA. The USA and Southeast Asia are also expected to continue growing alongside the already strong European market.
Therefore, we can expect new licenses in FIFA 19 and beyond from these regions in the future.

Among the biggest league wishes for FIFA 18 was the Third League. In surveys, it always ranked highly. And indeed: Since FIFA 18, the Third League has been included in the game.

At fifplay, around 750,000 FIFA fans participated in the survey (as of 05.02.). Here, the Chinese Super League is currently in the top position, just ahead of the Czech and Kazakh leagues.
At fifauteam, most of the votes were cast for the Czech league, followed by the Slovak and Chinese leagues.
Many players would therefore be pleased if the Chinese league is included in FIFA 18.

Adam is an enthusiastic cosplayer. Together, the two have already built many cool items, including lightsabers from Star Wars and a “Wardcliff Coil” rocket launcher from Destiny 2. This time, they are trying their hand at the Smashing Sword from Monster Hunter World.

With these raw materials and a workshop full of cool tools, the two guys build an extremely cool replica of the Smashing Sword. The final product is over 7 feet (about 2.13 meters) long and, thanks to the balsa wood, still fairly light at only 15 pounds (about 6 kilos). Ideal for the next Monster Hunter cosplay. In the short clip, a Guardian shoots a friendly Guardian with his Telesto. The fusion projectiles stick to him, allowing him to transport them to an enemy, where they then explode. The Guardian acts as a sort of bomb courier – the kill succeeds.
This works thanks to the special perk of the Telesto: Fusion projectiles stick and detonate with a delayed Void explosion.
According to the Guardian, it took hours for them to achieve this kill. After all, the timing has to be just right so that the “bombs” explode when you are next to the opponent. Therefore, this will probably not catch on as a new strategy in the Crucible. But it sure is cool to watch – especially since this kill led to a round victory in the Trials.

The beta of the MMORPG Worlds Adrift is progressing, but no one wants to talk about a release just yet, as there are still some things to be done before the online game reaches a status that the developers are satisfied with. This means that updates for the beta will continue to be released.
A new cannon for your ships
On Tuesday, February 6, version 0.1.6 will be released, introducing the Swivel Guns along with the corresponding Knowledge Tree into the game. This is a type of shotgun that you can mount on the deck of your ship. In addition, you can now create up to three characters for free per account, and there are several optimizations, bug fixes, and improvements to the effects.

You can get infected with the disease

Good concept, but it doesn’t resonate well
It is particularly interesting that the concept of being able to become infected with the plague and going through various stages of the disease. Because once you are infected, you pose a danger to everyone in the world. Do you hide the disease at first and risk infecting others, or do you try to get healed quickly? Eventually, it will be noticeable, and then you’ll have a problem. This and the general life in the medieval period, which was anything but easy, create a dark atmosphere in The Black Death.
However, the game is not doing well at all. Nevertheless, the developers are convinced that their concept can work. That’s why they have now released a new, large update. This brings the following to the game:
Improved graphics
Optimized light and fog effects for a better atmosphere
A wiki where you can get tips
Many bug fixes
Improved AI
Revised balancing
More updates in the pipeline

PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds (PC, Xbox One) is plagued by a large number of cheaters. Currently, more than 1 million cheaters are banned per month in PUBG, but the situation is escalating further.
The battle royale shooter PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds has millions of registered players. Over 3 million of them play the battle royale game simultaneously. However, not everyone plays fair. There are wall hacks, speed hacks, aimbots, and healing cheats that provide unfair advantages.
However, the extent of cheating in PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds is only made clear in the latest ban report.
1,044,000 banned cheaters just in January!
In PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds, the anti-cheat software BattleEye is used. It recently published a report about the number of banned cheaters in January. And this number is hard to believe. 1,044,000 players have been banned for cheating. And this was just in January 2018!
We have banned over 1,044,000 PUBG cheaters in January alone, unfortunately things continue to escalate.
Moreover, BattleEye is far from optimistic about the future. Unfortunately, the situation is likely to escalate further. For most cheaters, it seems no problem to simply buy another version of PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds after a ban and continue cheating happily.
A user on Reddit aptly summarized it: “Getting banned in PUBG is like being sent to jail in Monopoly. It has no real consequences!”
Players demand a China ban
According to an earlier report from BattleEye on cheaters in PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds, most of the cheaters are said to come from China. Therefore, the community has long been demanding a regional lock for the Middle Kingdom. Chinese players should stay in their region and not disturb the rest of the world with their cheats.
As an example, the competing title Fortnite is mentioned, which reportedly has very few players from China and is affected by far fewer cheaters. However, PUBG chief Brendan Greene has so far rejected a regional lock. The intention is not to punish an entire region for the misdeeds of a few cheaters.
Stricter anti-cheat measures bring disadvantages
However, even if there is no China lock, the intention is to take a stronger and better stance against cheaters in PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds. But this also brings disadvantages for honest players. Those who previously benefitted from Steam family sharing will have to forget this in the future. Since the family library reportedly opened a backdoor for cheaters, this feature will be disabled for PUBG in the future.
How does the Prometheus Lens perform in Destiny 2 after the buff? Is it OP again?
The Prometheus Lens was introduced two months ago with the “Curse of Osiris” DLC and has undergone an interesting development since:
In its launch week, it was completely overpowered (OP) in PvP. The lens had a bug, which caused it to deal devastating damage and outperformed every other weapon in the Crucible. To make the chaos perfect, Xur brought the lens that weekend, turning the Trials into a pure laser show.
A week later, an emergency patch was released that nerfed the Prometheus Lens too much. Bungie themselves said: Sorry, the lens is now too weak. A patch is coming in January to bring it back into balance.
Last week, on January 30th, this patch was deployed.
How does the Prometheus Lens perform now?
The Prometheus Lens is now a really good trace rifle
With the Update 1.14, two changes were made to the Prometheus Lens:
The Flame Refraction perk now generates ammunition instead of drawing it from reserves
Base damage has been increased (by how much is not specified)
It has these special perks:
Prismatic Inferno:Fires a Solar trace beam and generates a damaging heat field that expands while the weapon continues to be fired.
Flame Refraction:Kills with this weapon return a portion of the ammunition used to the magazine, extending the duration of the beam. The ammunition is now generated “out of nowhere” instead of being drawn from reserves.
Particularly, the change to the Flame Refraction perk has been well received among Guardians. Since Destiny 2 is not getting much attention from players these days, there are not many reviews and opinions about the “new” Prometheus Lens online, but all Guardians who have tested it say: The weapon is really fun now. In PvE, it shreds through enemies, and in PvP, it is also competitive.
