Next week, the Festival of Love will be celebrated worldwide. The world of Destiny 2 is no exception. The Crimson Week starts next Tuesday, February 13th – a Valentine’s Day event.
The Crimson Event is Coming
Next Tuesday around 9:00 PM, the Tower will get a slight maintenance delay and be dressed festively for a week. Decorated with flowers and in colors of love, the Crimson Week will be held in honor of Valentine’s Day.
This is an event where you can test your bonds with your friends.
What’s New in Crimson Week?
The controversial and much-criticized real money shop Eververse is not as significant as it was, for example, during the last Dawning event. In addition to the thematically inspired rewards that can now all be earned in-game, the highlight of Crimson Week is a 2v2 Crucible playlist with special modifiers. A new PvP map is also being introduced into the game.
Bungie’s new focus is clear: Participation should be attractive and rewarding for the Guardians. They should be generously rewarded through in-game progress, and they can earn the prizes. The Eververse and microtransactions are now completely in the background. They are purely optional and no longer the primary or only source of event rewards.
Given these upcoming festivities and the many associated and quite positive changes from Bungie, we at Mein-MMO now want to know from you:
Will You Participate in Crimson Week?
We have prepared a survey here. Each of you can only select one option:
Have the Valentine’s Day event and the upcoming new features piqued your interest, or have you lost all hope in Destiny 2 and its creators? Feel free to express your opinion in our comments section.

Many MMOs thrive on their persistent world, where players can happily hop around and interact with all kinds of NPCs. One trades, fights, or talks to them – and then they usually slip from one’s mind. Yet, NPCs deserve much more respect! Because they have no easy life …
Imagine you are trapped in an MMO. A constant loop forces you to repeat the same actions over and over again. Or even worse: To have things done to you by others. Therefore, let us take a moment of silence for these seven poor souls!
The NPC with Chronic Pain
The NPC with chronic pain has actually made only one mistake in life: He put his hand in a beehive / stepped into a bear trap / devoured three chocolate cakes at once. Actually no problem – if it weren’t for the treacherous MMO life!
Hardly freed by a heroic player or provided with laxatives, he finds himself after a brief moment of blissful relief back in the exact same situation as before. No wonder that the plea for redemption often sounds so pitiful.
The Mini Pet
Yes, the mini pet looks cute, is pampered and can frolic around all day long – what could be so bad about that? Unfortunately, many of them are shoved into dark, tiny bags, and at worst, crammed in with several other pets in tight spaces!
They are then brought out depending on mood to be pitted against all sorts of other animals in horrible battles! How fortunate that PETA has not yet caught on to this animal cruelty!
The Merchant
If the merchant is not living in the farthest dirt hole of the galaxy, he actually has a pretty pleasant life: After all, he usually has a roof over his head and is getting paid!
But for what? “Mr. Merchant, please: Three dozen shredded rat tails, four kilos of pebbles and a sack full of Murloc eyes! Thanks for the gold, bye!” Due to the overly strict laws of the V.E.R.A.R.S.C.H.T.* regarding the buying and selling of goods, merchants are unfortunately forced to accept any deck. In the literal sense.
*V.E.R.A.R.S.C.H.T.: Vassociation of eager Rubbish dealers associated with reality-remote Simulation games cultivated taily
NPCs that Cannot Be Killed by Players of Other Factions
NPCs like particularly important quest givers that cannot be killed by hostile players simply never die. What sounds like a blessing can actually be a relentless curse!
For they have to watch helplessly as all their loved ones around them are slaughtered. Blood splatters on their shoes, piles of corpses stack up – and they have to witness it all. From the beginning to the bitter end. And that over and over again. This is torture par excellence!
The Trash Mob
Not only do they have to stand around idly all day long, they are also treated like trash and mercilessly slaughtered as soon as a player spots them!
Maybe they just want to relax! Maybe they don’t want to work for the nasty big bad and have already written a note: “Dear Hero, please save me from this nightmare!” It’s not easy being a trash mob …
The Nasty Big Bad
Okay. The nasty big bad often deserves it somehow. Still, he is attacked and shredded over and over again! And even multiple times a day! If he is an especially sought-after villain, he may die even once a minute! That is not exactly enviable.
And even if he is already retired, since his instance or raid is long cold coffee, he is still fought in his old days! Just like that! For fun! Because he drops some special fluff item or because someone wants to break a record. He is farmed. Forever.
Every Single Employee of the Goldshire Inn
Do you still remember therape problem in Goldshire? Either way: Dirty dialogues, pseudo-witty stripteases, drunken stumbling characters, and then also fights up to bloody attacks from the Horde.
My heart goes out to you, brave bartenders, barmaids, and other employees of the Goldshire Inn. My next beer is on you!
The Alpha of World of Warcraft: Battle for Azeroth is finally live. But beware! Although some players already have access to the early version of the new add-on, there are no invites via email! If you receive an email, it’s phishing!
Recently, the Alpha of Battle for Azeroth, the next add-on for World of Warcraft, began. Those who signed up for the test may be able to play earlier with some luck or may be invited soon.
However, fraudsters have also taken advantage of the launch and are now sending false emails! With these, the scammers want to obtain the account information of gullible WoW players.
Blizzard does not send keys via email!
It is important to know: Invitations to the WoW: Battle for Azeroth Alpha are NOT sent via email invites. If you have access to the game, this access will be activated directly through your account or the Battle.net client. Just check to be sure.
If you receive an email promising you access, it is definitely a scam attempt! Do not click on links and do not download any attachments. These could be infected and could cost you more than just your Battle.net account.
Once again, to be clear: There are no keys for the Alpha of Battle for Azeroth! If you are promised access in an email or elsewhere, even for money, it is certainly a scam attempt and violates Blizzard’s guidelines.
If you receive an email from Blizzard, first check if it really is from Blizzard. You can often tell from a wrong layout or typos that the email does not come from the company itself. Emails from Blizzard always end with one of these four domains:
If you have received a fraudulent email, do not simply delete it, but forward it to [email protected]. This helps Blizzard track down the scammers and prevent further attempts.

It is a well-known fact that bugs and glitches are practically inevitable when launching new patches. They can often be quite annoying, but sometimes they provide a good laugh and give rise to new memes in the community.
So it is also in Final Fantasy XIV. A glitch creates a special spectacle: a cactus monster behaves quite unusually.
Glitch Grants Immortality
Since the release of patch 4.2, players have regularly reported in forums and on social media about monsters that keep running in circles while being invulnerable.
What this looks like in action is demonstrated by the player Kyulili Tanako with a video and the appropriate musical accompaniment:

The opponent in the video is called Sabotender Bailarina. It is an A-rank hunt monster, for which you receive hunting badges as a reward, among other things, which you can exchange for useful items.
Accordingly, the location of a hunt monster is usually publicly announced via /shout chat so that players can gather for the kill on-site.
Possible Trigger: Pathfinding Error
The exact cause of this is not known. However, it is suspected that it has something to do with the monsters’ pathfinding algorithm, as they all run up a ramp and then fall back down.
It also does not matter whether it is a single monster or smaller groups of monsters involved.

The new replay feature of PUBG – Playerunknown’s Battlegrounds has already produced some interesting video projects by players. One particularly nice example by the player Kreativus can be found here.
Sonny Evans is the man who links GTA 5 Online and recently also PUBG with the serious National Geographic style. In his videos, he calmly explores the nature of the games and their quirky creatures.
In the created documentaries, he explores the different players in their natural habitat, which sometimes takes on hilariously funny proportions. The contrast between the documentary style and the game itself makes it particularly appealing.

In an interview with PC Gamer, Evans clarifies that the possibilities of the replay feature are limited, which is particularly noticeable compared to the Rockstar Editor. Not only does PUBG inherently offer fewer options than a sandbox title like GTA 5, but the tool itself is also more difficult to use.
“The camera is constantly in motion, so slow camera pans are not feasible,” Evans says. Those are essential for documentaries. Only when controller support is added and the speed is no longer bound to the speed of the game would one gain more artistic freedom.
Furthermore, due to the sheer number of players, it is difficult to achieve particularly great shots. Everyone wants to win and can disrupt the recording in countless ways. Thus, a simple recording can take hours.
Get creative!
Nevertheless, PUBG offers a lot of potential and enough means to create great films with the replay feature. Evans is convinced that many creative projects are yet to come. He even gives a spontaneous suggestion for an upcoming video that anyone can pick up:
The Pochinki Strangler— A horror film about a mass murderer that has left the town of Pochinki now abandoned. This could be really cool.”
What do you think of such video projects? Have you created anything similar?
In addition to Call of Duty, Overwatch, or Candy Crush, it also discussed Destiny 2. The MMO shooter achieved the second highest revenue in North America as a console game – in this category, by the way, CoD WW2 holds the first place worldwide. Moreover, the publisher emphasizes the successful launch of Destiny 2 on PC.
After that, Activision shared some information about the expansion “Curse of Osiris”.
Curse of Osiris performed better than Darkness Falls
According to Activision, the attach rate of the first Destiny 2 DLC Curse of Osiris was higher than that of Darkness Falls, the first Destiny 1 DLC.
The attach rate is expressed as a measure of how many buyers of a product also acquire the subsequent products.
This means that a higher proportion of Destiny 2 guardians bought Curse of Osiris than Destiny 1 guardians bought Darkness Falls.
In this regard, Activision continues that they have not yet succeeded in sustainably expanding the Destiny community. But Bungie is working hard to improve the game.
The Destiny community is engaged, vocal, and passionate, and improvements have already been made based on their feedback. In the future, a whole list of new features and seasonal events will be coming to the Guardians. Furthermore, it is emphasized that with the second DLC in May and a large expansion at the end of the year, two “epic adventures” are on the horizon.
There is a certain magic in the Destiny franchise, and they feel committed to meeting their own expectations and those of the players in the coming quarters, according to Activision.
Players find Curse of Osiris not so successful
As for why Curse of Osiris sold better than Darkness Falls, Activision did not elaborate. Some Guardians see the main reason as many players bought Destiny 2 along with the season pass, which included Curse of Osiris directly.
According to some users, the success cannot be attributed to the quality of Curse of Osiris. The DLC story can be completed in 2 hours, the Infinite Forest does not provide long-term motivation, and while the new raid area is cool, it also does not offer long-term motivation.
The Crota raid from Darkness Falls, on the other hand, was played repeatedly for weeks and months after its release, recall Destiny veterans.
Activision is confident that motivation will return among the Guardians. The expansions scheduled for May and the end of the year present opportunities to win back players who are currently turning their backs on Destiny 2. Because the players are incredibly passionate – and this passion is a good thing, even though the current sentiment is critical.
In its latest developer update, Epic discusses various improvements that players can expect in the coming weeks in Fortnite: Battle Royale. They aim to achieve 60 FPS for PS4 and Xbox One and introduce about 12 new limited-time game modes. Alongside many exciting features, there is also a bitter pill to swallow: submachine guns are being removed.
Version 4 of the developer update focuses on frames per second, new game modes, and bidding farewell to a weapon.
Fortnite: Battle Royale aims for 60 FPS for PS4 and Xbox One
Initially, Epic apologizes again for the difficulties of the past weeks. They underestimated the player influx and released an update 2.3.0, which contained many errors.
Such faulty releases should not happen again in the future.
Apart from a faster round start, Epic is working to achieve a 60hz framerate on consoles PS4, PS4 Pro, Xbox One, and Xbox One X – and to do so stably! You can expect this change by the end of February 2018!
This will be an optional 60 FPS mode that optimizes the framerate. It sounds like it might come at the cost of some graphical quality.
Gameplay of Fortnite: Battle Royale: Farewell, submachine gun
Epic emphasizes that continuously new items are being tested, which will then appear in the game. They are even experimenting with completely new item types that do not yet exist in the game. Players will have to say goodbye to the submachine guns – they will be removed next week.
Epic emphasizes that this doesn’t have to be a final farewell – after a proper rebalancing, the weapons could be reintegrated into the game.
Furthermore, Epic addressed feedback from the player base, which is actively being worked on:
Improved building controls on console
Other means of team communication apart from voice chat
Option to sign up for the next match directly after dying
Ability to hold the search button while approaching the next searchable object
Display in the weapon toolbar indicating how much ammunition the weapon has loaded
Larger map with zoom
Improvements to the audio system are also planned. Specifically, the sounds of opponents building stairs or similar actions should be more audible, and construction sounds should be sharper in contrast to footsteps.
Improvements to the friends system in Fortnite: Battle Royale
Epic is currently working on a feature that allows you to invite people into your squad via Facebook. This will first be introduced on PC, with PS4 and Xbox One, as well as other social networks to follow!
But that’s not all – alongside improved search and chat functions, it will be possible to watch your friends in solo games, even if you are not in the game yourself. Even chatting should be possible.
A dozen new limited-time modes in Fortnite: Battle Royale (or so)
Epic claims to have “let loose.” The outcome is a variety of new limited-time modes that Epic wants to “release quickly in succession” – and they will gather feedback. Epic speaks of a dozen or so, around 12 new modes.
In the coming weeks, you can look forward to the following game modes:
Lightning fast (shorter matches)
Jump out in the first circle.
The time until the circles shrink is shorter.
The possible team sizes range from 50 against 50 to the normal teams.
50 against 50 version 2
Should come closer to the action in the 50v50 trailer.
Separate start
A big battle
One bus for each team
See all team members on the map.
More supply drops
Also, a mode like “The Floor is Lava” could be included.
Cosmetic items in Fortnite: Battle Royale
Epic is working on new possibilities for cosmetic items that do not yet exist in the game. At the same time, the community is encouraged to continue submitting ideas – like Redditor Pandanapper, whose design for a harvesting tool will actually see the light of day:
The new changes in Overwatch have helped. Capture the Flag is finally a lot of fun!
When Blizzard introduced the “Capture the Flag” mode with the “Year of the Rooster” event almost a year ago, the game mode was laughed at by many in Overwatch. It was a quick implementation of a player wish and functioned rather poorly.
Thanks to the many strong mobility abilities of certain characters, matches often turned into a guessing game. Often, a Tracer would sneak into the base, steal the flag, and then teleport back to their flag point in no time. This quickly led to very boring counters: Bastion, Torbjörn, and Symmetra fortified the flag area so that getting through was nearly impossible.
It was a fun distraction – but nothing more, as frustration grew after a few rounds of the same repetitive matches, where Torbjörns and Symmetras would just bunker down.
New rules improve Capture the Flag
In 2018, that changed. With the “Year of the Dog”, Blizzard released a new exclusive map for Capture the Flag and also significantly adjusted the rules.
With the restrictions, it is no longer possible to use special mobility abilities, such as Winston’s jump or D.Va’s Boost, because the flag will be dropped immediately. Team play and tactical approaches are finally valued again, leading to fast, exciting matches with plenty of chases.
The initial pick-up of the flag from the flag point now happens spontaneously. However, if the flag is dropped, it takes time to pick it up again or to send it back to the base. This results in many small “King of the Hill” skirmishes.
Thanks to the “Sudden Death” mode, matches without a clear winner also belong to the past.
No matter how you look at it: Blizzard has turned a “meh” mode into an entertaining variant that adds a new facet to Overwatch.
The new map, Ayutthaya, also contributes to the improved gaming experience. Since this map was developed exclusively for Capture the Flag, the mode fits here much better. Narrow corridors with good protection options, as well as open areas where characters with good visibility can shine, provide an almost perfect balance, ensuring that every hero has their place in this mode. The “old” maps cannot compete.
Cortyn says: It’s the first time since Halo that I can really get into a “Capture the Flag” mode. The changes are good and sensible, even if they restrict certain heroes significantly. This understandably creates an imbalance, making the flag carrier more fragile and vulnerable. But this has already contributed to a massive improvement in games like World of Warcraft. For my part, the mode can even be included in ranked play in its current form.
What do you think of the new Capture the Flag mode?
The developers of the sandbox MMORPG Albion Online will introduce a major change: monsters that will no longer just lurk in specific locations but will also roam the game world.
This is something we know from MMORPGs: monsters usually lurk in specific places waiting for players to attack them. This allows players to plan their tactics and defeat the hordes. This principle will soon be turned on its head in Albion Online. Monsters will then also roam the game world, making exploration missions even more dangerous.
Encounter roaming monsters in the game world
With the Lancelot update, the developers will introduce the following changes:
Scouts, minions, and elite fighters will roam the open world
These wandering mobs give more rewards, sometimes huge amounts of fame and silver as loot
Frequency and difficulty of wandering mobs vary from simple scouts to powerful bosses
More encounters in the game world
More activities in the game world
Luxury goods fuel economy and PvP
Additionally, the developers will also introduce luxury goods into the game with the upcoming update. These are relics from the 18 different phases of antiquity of Albion, which are highly sought after by collectors in cities. Many of these luxury goods can be found with mobs regardless of their location. Luxury goods impact the economy of the MMO and also heat up the PvP, as the items are very rare and everyone wants them.
More details about the Lancelot update of the MMORPG Albion Online will be revealed by the developers in the coming weeks. The update is planned for release in March.
The best teams in the Overwatch League consist of South Korean players. Sure, the guys and gals are known for being good at video games, especially in League of Legends (LoL) – but less so in shooters. How is it that South Koreans still rock Overwatch?
That Asians, particularly Koreans, are good at video games is a widely confirmed stereotype. Even in StarCraft, hardly anyone could compete with them. Later, in League of Legends, the best players were almost exclusively Koreans or Asians.
The only gaming discipline in which they were regularly beaten was shooters. Until now. In the Overwatch League, there are three purely Korean teams that are really heating things up: Seoul Dynasty, New York Excelsior, and London Spitfire.
The currently strongest team in the Overwatch League: New York Excelsior.
Why are Asians so good at gaming?
The best players in most video games come from Asia – specifically from Korea. This is no longer a prejudice but is confirmed repeatedly in many major e-sports events. While there are exceptional talents from other countries, most pro gamers in larger games are Korean – except in shooters.
However, this is not due to genetic predisposition or secret, inherited gaming techniques. There are two relatively banal reasons. First, Asians work hard for something they want to achieve – no matter what. They have a deep dedication to their job and hobby, often nurturing it from childhood.
It is no coincidence that you often see the same people standing at the same machine in Asian arcades every day, trying to get better. The ambition drives them. A deeply rooted cultural phenomenon that particularly Japanese people like to showcase.
Secondly, gaming in Asian countries is not a nerdy topic. It is a recognized hobby and has been celebrated as an official sport in Korea for years. They are not ashamed to play extensively. With the right dedication, training comes naturally.
One of the most popular games in South Korea: League of Legends.
Why do they rock Overwatch?
As already mentioned, all of this applies to most video games – except for shooters. This is mainly because shooters are simply not that popular. There are hardly any notable representatives of the genre from Square Enix or Capcom, let alone from other Asian developers.
The interest in shooters in Asia is low. One reason for this is that the arcade culture there is still very pronounced – and consoles are more popular. Shooters simply play poorly on machines. There are hardly any of them – and if so, then with guns as controllers.
Overwatch, however, does not behave like a classic shooter. In the genre, it is usually the case that everyone has the same prerequisites, so experience and reaction give the decisive advantage. The learning curve is rather flat.
Overwatch does things differently. The entry is quite easy, and the learning curves are distributed across the individual heroes, making it very steep for the game itself. Lack of experience can be quickly compensated for by intense training with a hero, so you have few disadvantages when facing experienced players early on.
Birdring’s greatest role model is a Western player: Seagull.
After LoL comes Overwatch
Albertro “Crumbz” Rengifo is one of the analysts of the Overwatch League. He was previously a LoL pro and later worked there as a caster and analyst. Through his experience as a LoL analyst, he brings a different perspective to the OWL, which surprisingly fits well into Overwatch e-sports.
He often examines the tactics of the players to assess their craft with the heroes. Something that can be well compared with League of Legends. However, according to Crumbz, the Overwatch League cannot be compared with LoL, it will never be the same.
The mere fact that players constantly train together and, in this specific case, even live together to continually improve. Crumbz does not expect that Koreans will dominate the Overwatch League for long – at least not as long as League of Legends.
Analyst Alberto “Crumbz” Rengifo: “It’s not the same and it never will be. “
What can Western teams do to win?
Crumbz’s statement about training sums up relatively well why Koreans will not remain the unbeatable kings of the Overwatch League. The past few days confirm him: Time and again, the top teams lose against Western favorites like Houston Outlaws and LA Valiant.
To have realistic chances, the motto is: train. E-sports has long been established in Korea, and the infrastructure is correspondingly designed for such events. Players simply have more experience.
However, Overwatch was released at a time when e-sports had already arrived in the USA as well. The chances are therefore not as uneven as in League of Legends. Nevertheless, Koreans fight hard for their success – the West just has to do the same!

The career of a Fortnite pro and Twitch streamer collapses after statements about people who are at risk of suicide. He is kicked from his team and his Twitch channel is deleted. He wonders: Nothing he ever said in the stream had consequences before.
As Kotaku reports, the career of Fortnite player Jordan “Scrubby” Selleck collapsed almost overnight. He said in a stream: If he knew someone who threatened to commit suicide, he would encourage them to do it and never speak to them again.
In this context, he made statements suggesting that he considers anxiety disorders to be fake.
Fortnite pro is fired from his team
Selleck was until then a member of the Fortnite team HavoK Esports. He was kicked from there. The team distanced itself from him and posted a page from the national suicide prevention organization. They are also already looking for a new player.
Selleck has not streamed or tweeted anything after the incident. Kotaku then inquired with Twitch about their opinion on the matter.
In the meantime, Selleck’s Twitch page has been deleted. Twitch states: “The matter has been addressed,” but does not comment on what steps have been taken.
Everything else he ever said on stream had no consequences
Selleck himself posted an apology video on YouTube. In it, he acknowledges that he considers anxiety disorders and depression to be real. However, Selleck believes that suicide is a cowardly and selfish way out. Those suffering from depression should definitely seek professional help.
Selleck seems surprised about the waves his statements have caused. Because everything he had said or done in his stream until then had remained without any consequences.
The incident now has opened his eyes to how sensitive this topic is.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cl7S9s1semE
Twitch seems to want to take more responsibility
The incident occurs at a time when Twitch is making efforts to exert stronger control over what is allowed on their streaming platform and what is not.
Only in the last few days, new guidelines for streamers have been issued (here’s the English version on Twitch). These guidelines are set to take effect from February 19.
Especially provocative streamers like Forsen, Tyler1 or Dr DisRespect seem to be in Twitch’s crosshairs. However, it is assumed that their high popularity may protect them.
If you or someone you know is suffering from depression, you can reach the telephone counseling service at 0800-111-0-111

The developers ofBlack Desert Online (PC) are currently looking for influencers for a partnership program through their website. Those who meet the guidelines and have many followers will receive special benefits.
Black Desert Online is a sandbox MMORPG by the Korean studio Pearl Abyss and publisher Kakao Games. The game impresses primarily with its beautiful graphics, engaging action combat system, and PvP mass battles.
The developers would like to see more of this on Twitch and YouTube in the future.
Such a relationship between an influencer and a gaming company is nothing unusual in the industry, but it usually happens behind the scenes and is not widely discussed. Pearl Abyss, on the other hand, openly advertises on their website and presents the terms and conditions of such cooperation.
Decent YouTubers and Twitch streamers wanted!
In order to make Black Desert Online more well-known on YouTube and the streaming platform Twitch, the developers are looking for strong influencers on these platforms. However, they must meet the following requirements:
They have an average of 100 viewers on Twitch or 30,000 subscribers on YouTube
They stream at least twice a week and/or upload videos weekly
They respect the community and other players
Fair play, even in competition, is important to them
Their content is free of inappropriate content
They are willing to provide feedback to Pearl Abyss and publisher Kakao Games
They adhere to the developer’s terms of service
Benefits for selected influencers
In return, influencers will also receive some advantages.. The developers promise:
Promotion on the official website and in the launcher of Black Desert Online
Promotion on social media pages, Twitch, and YouTube
Better feedback opportunities and direct contact with Kakao Games
It’s nothing unusual for developers to collaborate with YouTubers. What is unusual in this case is how openly it is done.
The Anjanath is likely to be your first major challenge in Monster Hunter: World. It has a lot of health points and delivers heavy hits. Our guide will tell you how to deal with this creature and what its weaknesses are!
The Anjanath is one of the large enemies in the Ancient Forest. You first encounter it on your way to Astera, the great city in Monster Hunter: World. In the cinematic sequence, you barely manage to escape from the beast.
As the story progresses, you will come across the monster again – and this time you must face it in battle. Even though the beast looks sluggish, it can strike at lightning speed and inflict significant damage.
So that you don’t risk failing the quest, we have gathered some useful tips and tricks that will make the fight easier for you! But before we start, here is the briefer summary of the key points and weaknesses of Anjanath.
At a Glance: Loot, Location, and Weaknesses of Anjanath
Scale, Fang, Nose Bone, Plate, Gemstone, and Fur of Anjanath
Flame Bag
Hell Bag
Monster Bone L
How do I prepare for the weaknesses of Anjanath?
Which spots you should attack on Anjanath: Due to its shape and movements, you will mostly be hanging onto its arms and legs, but try to focus on its head and tail as soon as the opportunity arises. The tail can even be severed. This is a significant weakness of Anjanath.
How you can prepare for the fight: Anjanath is weak to water (3). In the story, you have already encountered the Jyuratodus (Wildspire Waste), from which you can farm water parts. This allows you to build a water weapon. If you don’t have any water parts, Thunder (2) and Ice (2) are also good choices. It is advised against using Dragon (1) and Anjanath is immune to Fire (0). The stars indicate the effectiveness of elements against a particular monster. 3 stars have a high impact, so in this case, water. A red cross means that the monster is immune to that element.
Which status effects are effective against Anjanath? You can use Poison (2), Paralysis (2), Sleep (2), and Stun (2). Tip: With Thunderbugs (made from Thunder Beetles), you can blind Anjanath. If you hit the bugs with your weapon, a bright flash occurs and Anjanath cannot move for a short time because it is confused.
Which weapons and armor are effective against Anjanath? You should choose weapons that provide maximum mobility. Dual blades or insect glaives are good options. For armor, focus on high fire resistance and defense. The bone armor is a safe choice. For buff food, Mega Potions are a must-have; otherwise, the same values apply as for the armor.
The next part helps you understand the individual battle phases better and which strategies could lead to success.
The Fight Against Anjanath – The Attacks
The best recipe for success in a Monster Hunter title is always observing the enemy. What attacks does the monster use? How are the movements structured? The Anjanath is large and looks heavy, but can quickly cover larger distances.
The Anjanath prefers to attack with its large maw, but can also kick with its claws if you are under it. Those who attack the tail from behind can be hit hard by it.
The monster becomes truly dangerous when it raises a crest on its head and two ‘wings’ on its back. In this phase, you should keep your distance – the beast’s strength and speed increase in this state, and its attacks become harder to predict.
From time to time, Anjanath breathes fire, and you must definitely keep your distance to avoid being set ablaze. Anjanath has two different fire attacks:
A widespread fire breath with short range or
A suddenly expended blast in all directions with long range
In the final phase of the fight, Anjanath enters a kind of rage mode. This is the most dangerous part; it uses all attacks in quick succession and rampages through the arena. Here, great caution is required!
The Fight Against Anjanath – The Equipment
We do not want to make a general weapon recommendation, but you should choose weapons that provide maximum mobility. With the dual blades, you are fast, and the combination of sword and shield, as well as the insect glaive, are also good options.
Your armor should have fire resistance. For this, you can relatively early in the game build the bone armor, which has fire resistance. Just go through the bone piles located in the Ancient Forest and the Wildspire Waste, and you should be able to complete the set quickly.
Since the defense values of the armor are not outstanding, invest in armor spheres to further enhance them.
The Anjanath is sensitive to the water element. Take advantage of this weakness by choosing weapons that possess the water element. Additionally, you can equip your Palico with a weapon that has the water element to inflict additional damage!
Also, stock up on healing items. After starting the quest, you can use the chest in the camp. In it, you will find first aid items. Additionally, craft healing potions and mega potions. You can make healing potions from herbs, which are found everywhere.
For mega potions, in addition to normal healing potions, you need to find honey. This is rarer than herbs but provides a higher healing effect. Also, remember to eat a dish in the camp that boosts your attributes.
If you have equipped the bone armor, choose a dish that increases defense. Those who are quick to dodge can also choose a meal that boosts attack power.
The Fight Against Anjanath – The Battle Flow and Weaknesses
After starting the quest, you must first find the hunk. The scoutflies will help you follow the trail as soon as you stumble upon a footprint of the beast. Once you locate Anjanath, it all starts.
Observe the beast’s movements. Stay to the side and try to attack the tail. However, be careful, Anjanath can strike you with its tail. If you attack the tail long enough, it will fall off.
From this point, you can safely attack Anjanath from behind. With a well-timed attack from the air, you can mount the monster and hit it from above. Attack at the right moment, and don’t get thrown off!
The key to success: Practice patience! Don’t get overzealous and land two or three solid hits instead of constantly hammering at the beast and getting knocked down yourself. Anjanath can execute devastating attacks in no time, even if your health bar is full, the beast can knock you out in no time.
If you become unconscious three times, the quest is lost, and you must start over.
Under normal circumstances, you should have no problem with the 50-minute time limit, so don’t rush!
Strike from the side multiple times and roll to safety. If the monster raises its crest on its head, you should keep your distance and try to stay behind Anjanath, because now it will attack you with fire attacks that can knock you out on a full hit.
If you get hit by its fire breath, it may happen that you start burning. In this state, you continuously lose health (indicated by the pulsing red health bar). You can free yourself from this debuff by executing a dodge roll!
If you have great problems with its fire breath, attack its throat. If you inflict enough damage, Anjanath will no longer be able to perform its fire attacks. However, you must proceed with great caution; its maw has a large reach!
It can also happen that its throat starts glowing red. This is your chance! Because if you hit the throat, it will knock the hunk off its feet, and it will be safely attackable for a short time!
The dinosaur becomes really dangerous when it raises its head crest and back wings – in this rage phase, you must be very careful; Anjanath deals more damage, is faster, and its movements are not as easy to predict.
Use the battle breaks for regeneration
The Anjanath does not stay in one spot continuously – if it runs away from you, use the breaks to heal, sharpen your weapon with the whetstone, and gather herbs and honey for mega potions if you have run out of them.
However, don’t take too much time – if Anjanath has retreated to its nest, it regenerates health, which must be prevented! So don’t let the breaks become endless. Always keep an eye on your mission timer at the top left!
Don’t just focus on Anjanath; also pay attention to the terrain you are in. You can often use this to your advantage:
Anjanath can get tangled in ivy vines on the ground and be knocked down. Remember such positions and lure the beast there. You can do this by placing a bait (such as raw meat) at the appropriate spot.
In caves, large boulders often hang from the ceiling that you can loosen with thrown weapons. If Anjanath is directly underneath, you can inflict significant damage with the stones.
In some areas of the Ancient Forest, there are large, cup-like plants on the ground, called poison cups. In the heat of battle, these can be hit and spread a poisonous load over a large area. Be sure to avoid stepping on these purple-marked areas – otherwise, you will be poisoned!
Additionally, you should avoid facing Anjanath in tight corridors and small spaces. Especially in rage mode, you may find yourself back at camp faster than you would like. Always lure Anjanath to larger areas to have enough space to dodge.
Definitely avoid the Rathalos!
Often, Anjanath is in the vicinity of a much more dangerous opponent: the Rathalos. Trust me, you do not want to challenge that at this point in the game. What Rathalos can do to Anjanath is astounding.
I have seen damage numbers well over 1000 that Rathalos inflicted on Anjanath. You do not want to get caught in the crossfire. If Rathalos appears (a giant, winged beast), keep your distance until Anjanath has retreated.
If Rathalos is positioned between you and Anjanath, take a detour if in doubt. Make sure that Rathalos does not become aware of you!
The final phase of the fight
If you have injured the monster so severely that a skull symbol appears on the mini-map, you are almost there. Anjanath will now limp back to its nest to regenerate.
Now, the hardest phase of the fight begins.
In a deathly panic, the beast will spew fire about, jump wildly around, and execute all attacks randomly.
Keep your distance and land only a few hits to avoid getting caught in its clutches.
Heal if necessary and remain patient. Sooner or later, the monster will fall and present you with the opportunity to forge one of the best armors available at this point in the game.
Congratulations – you have taken down the first truly tough beast of the game!

In the 42nd letter from the producer, Naoki Yoshida released new information about the upcoming special endgame content “Forbidden Land Eureka” in Final Fantasy XIV.
Eureka is the new endgame content that will be introduced with patch 4.25. It is a vast instance with a unique leveling system that will continue to expand throughout the “Stormblood” expansion.
Here is all the important information.
The first instance of Eureka is called Anemos
Eureka is an unexplored and rugged land where the elements are in constant motion. Accordingly, it features a complex elemental system used for character leveling within Eureka.
Players will be able to enhance their antiquated weapons and armor in Eureka. This is the next version of the relic and anima weapons.
Up to 144 players can be active in an instance at the same time. They can form and dissolve groups as desired.
Known NPCs such as the blacksmith Gerolt and Krille will be present and assist players.
The first area of the Forbidden Land is called Anemos.
What is special about Eureka?
When wandering in Eureka, players must follow a series of special rules.
Here are some of them:
There will be special items such as “Eureka Potions” that can only be used there. Outside of Eureka, they have no effect.
Players will not be able to use mounts in Eureka until the area is fully explored.
If a player dies within the Eureka instance, they will lose a certain amount of their elemental EXP. The amount of lost EXP increases with level, and after level 11, players will even fall below 0.
However, if they are revived by someone else within 10 minutes, they retain their EXP.
All monsters in Eureka have specific elemental properties.
Final Fantasy XIV: Leveling in Eureka
The normal levels and gear have no effect within the Forbidden Land. The strength of the players depends on how well they can utilize the 6 different elements.
These are measured in “Elemental Levels” (unofficial translation). One level is equivalent to 1000 elemental EXP obtained from enemies in Eureka.
All players start at level 1 and can reach a maximum level of 20. Upon leaving Eureka, the accumulated EXP is saved, and they start at the same level next time.
The level cap of 20 is temporary and will be increased once the next stage of Eureka is released.
The amount of “Elemental EXP” gained in battle depends on the number of players in the group and the strength of the monsters.
The “Magia Board”
In connection with the “Magicite”, the board can be used to increase the player’s affinity to the 6 elements.
A higher connection with an element means that players will take less damage from monsters of that element. At the same time, they will cause more damage to enemies with the opposing element.
Players can freely rotate the board to quickly adapt their elemental strengths and weaknesses to their opponents.
Example:
Lightning is strong against Water -> it deals more damage against water-element monsters.
However, if water is the main element, players will take less damage from those enemies.
It makes a huge difference in damage whether you have level 0 or level 1 in an element. With level 0 in the water element, Yoshida took 50,000 – 70,000 HP damage on his Black Mage during the presentation.
The board has an “MA” resource that is consumed when it is rotated. However, it regenerates over time.
In the starting areas, players won’t need to rotate the board often. However, this will change once they reach the advanced areas.
Returning to the “Magia Board” at the area entrance restores the consumed “MA” points.
Upgrading Armor and Weapons
Players will have the opportunity to enhance their antiquated job-specific gear in Eureka. This works with the help of “Protean Crystals”, which can only be found there.
To fully upgrade the weapons, players will first need to obtain special items from the “Notorious Monsters”.
These are particularly strong monsters that leave behind high amounts of EXP and other rewards upon their defeat.
Yoshida stated that players must work together to defeat these monsters. He encouraged players to look for groups.
Since Anemos is the first part of Eureka, the upgrade system for weapons and armor will be simple to allow players to familiarize themselves with the new system.
Although an official release date has not yet been announced, in the last producer’s letter, Yoshida mentioned that patch 4.25 will be released around early March.
The producer’s letter was streamed from Sapporo, where the Sapporo Snow Festival is taking place. More about this can be found in our article:
Long awaited and finally on the test servers of Heroes of the Storm: the Voice Chat. But while some celebrate it, others look pessimistically into the future. Will the Voice Chat fuel toxic behavior, especially against minorities?
Announced at last year’s BlizzCon, it is finally visible on the test servers: The Voice Chat, which aims to greatly simplify communication within teams. However, some see it as a danger and fodder for harassing players.
Minorities Become Target
The spokesperson for concerns regarding the Voice Chat is especially the HotS streamer FerociouslySteph. She openly identifies as transgender but has often been defamed in the past for it. As a member of a minority, she highlights on Twitter, in her streams, and in articles what a Voice Chat can cause.
While it is indeed great to be able to talk to familiar teammates, she tells Polygon. However, in randomly assembled teams, members of minorities reveal themselves and quickly become targets. Studies show that women, for example, receive up to three times more ridicule and scorn in Voice Chat than their male counterparts.
FerociouslySteph also sees the advantages of a Voice Chat in random groups. However, for the targets – it’s not so funny.
“Every time you are forced to mute the toxic player, you disrupt the flow of information that the affected players may still give to others. And even if the harassing player is only focused on insulting, this won’t help the team. Both are unfavorable. There are numerically few minorities, so they are hardly present for the average player. But all my games will have at least one minority player and thus suffer disadvantages from harassment.”
When she speaks, she is disadvantaged because of her voice. When she doesn’t speak, she can contribute much less to the success of the match. Muting doesn’t harm the toxic player but the victim.

FerociouslySteph doubts the effectiveness of the reporting system, which still seems too immature to her. She also doubts that other players would stand up against toxic players.
Proposed Solutions
Limiting the chat to friendly players, even if that is not ideal.
Stricter punishments for troublemakers.
More principled teammates.
Blizzard should publicly discuss and condemn toxic behavior to make a statement.
How peacefully the Voice Chat will run and whether it will be as toxic as feared remains to be seen. For FerociouslySteph and others, it seems to come at the expense of diversity. Because where one is insulted, one shows neither oneself nor pride.
What do you think? Are you looking forward to the Voice Chat? Or do you have critical views on it?
Hanzo is causing serious problems for the developers of Overwatch. They had many ideas – but none of them worked.
If you ask the players of Overwatch about the most annoying abilities in the game, two names always come up: Hanzo’s Scatter Arrow and Mercy’s Resurrect. While Mercy is adjusted and fine-tuned patch after patch, Hanzo has so far gotten away without major changes. Did they just forget about it?
No, because Blizzard has already tried some things internally to replace the Scatter Arrow. Three of these failed ideas were presented by Geoff Goodman from Blizzard in the official forum.
Three Failed Hanzo Reworks
Replace Scatter Arrow with Piercing Arrow: Because the Scatter Arrow caused many problems, they wanted to simply replace it. Instead, there was supposed to be a special shot that could fire particularly fast, particularly far, and especially through barriers. A skilled player could thus eliminate a healer through Reinhardt’s shield or take out a Widowmaker at the other end of the map. This arrow, however, felt too frustrating. When the protective barrier is simply pierced, the fun is lost.
Massive Restrictions for the Scatter Arrow: A second idea was to significantly weaken the Scatter Arrow. It could no longer bounce off the ground, but only off walls and ceilings. At the same time, the arrows would only bounce off walls once and disappear upon the next contact with an object. This also felt bad, as the arrow was only useful in very few situations.
New “Reload” Ability: Another idea was an additional ability that could be activated by the “Reload” key. Anyone who wanted could play a special animation that lasted 2-3 seconds, but finished the cooldown of the special arrows. Especially in combination with the Piercing Arrow from the first idea, exciting possibilities arose. However, in connection with the Sonic Arrow, this granted permanent vision over a large part of the map, which is why this idea was discarded.
Since then, Blizzard has been lacking the brilliant idea. They are still unsure about the direction Hanzo should take.
Do you have ideas and suggestions on how Hanzo should be adjusted? Or do you particularly like one of the three failed ideas?
Despite cautiously optimistic sentiment within the community before the onset of the Scarlet Week, the creators of Destiny 2 are already facing new troubles. Bungie is “nerfing” access to its own forums, drawing the anger of many fans once again.
Not all Guardians have given up hope that Bungie will succeed in breaking the Nightmare Cycle in Destiny 2 and finally provide fans with a reconciling gaming experience.
However, newly ignited anger threatens to further damage Bungie’s already severely tarnished reputation.
Wave of Outrage in the Bungie Forum
Since the evening of February 7th, a rather unremarkable post by Community Manager dmg04 in the official Bungie forum has caused quite a stir.
The post was not dedicated to any upcoming update or groundbreaking changes in Destiny 2. Nevertheless, it received over 3,200 comments within just 24 hours – more than double the amount the previously released roadmap for spring received in an entire week.
The nature and content of the comments make it clear – the majority of forum users are very angry! Most statements express rage, mockery, sarcasm, and confusion towards Bungie. Many comments on Reddit and Twitter reflect the same sentiment.
But what exactly has upset the community so much?

Restrictions for Forum Users – The Root of the Problem
The cause of the boiling emotions are changes to the forum rules, which were announced in the post by dmg04 on February 7th and came into effect on February 8th. To be able to post and comment in the official Bungie forums, the following restrictions now apply:
For the sections Destiny 2, Feedback, Gaming, and Off-Topic: users must have reached the Farm in Destiny 2
For the sections Destiny, Clans, Recruitment, and Community: users must have a Destiny account
For the section Help: there are still no requirements for users
The Road to Hell is Paved with Good Intentions
With the introduction of the new restrictions, Bungie is indeed acting in a comprehensible and well-intentioned manner:
The studio is trying with this type of “moderation” to regain control over the situation in its own forum. It aims to counter toxicity.
Much-needed constructive feedback and valuable discussions should be separated from trolls, haters, and meaningless spam posts.
To reach the Farm, owning Destiny 2 is not strictly necessary. This social space can also be visited in the trial version.
On the other hand, this crackdown has led to problems and unforeseen consequences that overshadow the positive aspects significantly.
Players criticize:
According to forum rules, the “Gaming” section is about games that have nothing to do with Destiny. Ironically, a certain gaming progress in Destiny 2 is now required for participation.
The popular Off-Topic forum section, where large communities have formed around various topics, now also requires a visit to the Farm in Destiny 2.
Many Halo veterans and other long-time forum members are excluded if they do not care about Bungie’s latest title. Communities are being torn apart.
Due to the imposed restrictions, some user groups appear irrelevant and even unwanted. This comes across as discriminatory and off-putting.
The new restrictions resemble censorship. There is an impression that negative feedback should be kept quiet.
A large part of the uncomfortable and unwanted comments come from players who have already reached the endgame in Destiny 2. However, they are not affected by the restrictions.
Sven thinks: Even though Bungie has certainly approached the toxic forums with good intentions, in the end, it is clear that the result is at best questionable and again tarnishes Bungie’s already severely damaged reputation.
The studio has even managed to upset many long-time fans outside of the Destiny community.
Although Bungie likely recognized quickly that it had gone too far: community manager DeeJ addressed the upset masses in a calming post (link to the Bungie forum) on February 8th. However, whether ongoing faux pas coupled with constant apologies and reassurances represent the right tools to regain the trust of fans remains questionable.
In Pokémon GO new raid bosses have been activated, which you can fight in various gyms.
The developers of Pokémon GO activated a wave of new Gen 3 Pokémon on Friday evening that you can now find in the game. Most of these belong to the Flying or Dragon types and provide you with new opportunities to complete the PokéDex.
In addition, the opponents in raids have been updated. Some have already been confirmed by the community.
New raid bosses in Pokémon GO
In the announcement for the new Gen 3 wave, Niantic revealed “… and new Pokémon are available in the gyms in your area in raid battles.” Niantic did not explain which ones they are.
Since the update on Friday evening, trainers are excited about which monsters are now available as gym bosses in the game. The community has already spotted some new opponents. They often belong to the Ice and Water types, which are very effective counters against the new legendary raid boss Rayquaza.
The confirmed new bosses are according to PokémonGOHub:
Level 1 Raids
Swablu
Snorunt
Level 2 Raids
Sealeo
Level 3 Raids
Roselia
Azumarill
Gligar
Level 4 Raids
Feraligatr
Level 5 Raids
Rayquaza
Minun and Plusle found everywhere
As the Pokémon GO team announced via Twitter, the monsters Minun and Plusle are now roaming the Earth together. They are actually classified as regional Pokémon of the 3rd generation and are divided into different regions.

It is assumed that this availability will not last “forever” and will be lifted again in a few days. So hurry up and catch them both if you want them in your PokéDex without traveling.
New regional Pokémon of the February wave?
Trainers speculate that with the new wave of monsters, additional regional Pokémon have also been unlocked. According to early reports, the distributions are said to look like this:
Volbeat in Europe and Asia
Illumise in America
Tropius in Africa
However, these are only initial reports and no official confirmation yet. We are waiting for further reports from the community before we consider these monsters as regional.
Hyper Universe offers fast MOBA action combined with sidescrolling beat-em-up battles – and now you can even compete against each other in a ranking.
The ranking preseason has now started in Hyper Universe. During this time, you can compete against each other until February 22nd – provided you have an account level of 15 and at least 12 Hypers. New to the rotation of Hyper Heroes is Captain Red, a specialist with powerful melee and ranged attacks. He also allows you to obtain the Captain Red Premium Dragon Force skin.
Compete with other players
The ranking mode offers you the following:
Eight ranking tiers: Rookie, Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, Diamond, Master, and Grandmaster. Ranks are reset at the end of a season.
“True Skill” system: You collect ranking points, which you earn through victories, and then climb the ranks. You lose points through defeats.
Drafting system: It is possible to ban certain Hypers when selecting characters.
Exclusive rewards: If you achieve 30 ranked wins, you will be rewarded with the Forgotten Hero Allen skin. If you reach Gold rank or higher before the end of Season 1, you will receive a gilded Hyper nameplate and Sonya’s Sonny Boy skin.
“Hyper Universe is an intense, action-packed player experience that practically demands competition,” said Jungsoo Lee, General Manager at Nexon America. “The game requires more than just calling a map and mashing buttons. Players must think strategically and devise plans to climb the ranks and earn victories and rewards. The ranking mode brings a whole new level of intensity and even more fun to the game – and will excite fans and leave them wanting more.”
More updates are coming
Further content updates for the online game Hyper Universe are planned for the coming months. You can also participate in events for the Lunar New Year to receive, for example, Celine’s Fair Maiden skin.
Determining the best class in the MMORPG Neverwinter is difficult. Each class has its pros and cons and is better suited for certain actions while worse for others. That’s why it’s so important to play in a group where players complement each other.
Nonetheless, today we want to introduce you to classes from Neverwinter that are better suited for certain playstyles. However, you must always keep in mind that Neverwinter offers a wide variety of playstyles, making it hard to determine which class is the “best.” It largely depends on how you want to play and what role you wish to take on—especially in a group with other players. And the class and its build also depend on the campaign you are playing, as each requires a different approach.
Which class plays best solo?
If you prefer playing alone, you should choose between the Oathbound Paladin and the Guardian Fighter. Depending on whether you bring an NPC companion along or not, the decision is relatively easy.
Oathbound Paladin
Combination of healer and tank
As a healer, you don’t need an additional NPC companion
The Paladin deals a fair amount of damage and can defend well
The Paladin is very robust
Guardian Fighter
Tank
Can defend alone against larger groups of enemies
Deals significant damage
With a healer as a companion, you cover all survival needs
If you want to play entirely alone as a lone wolf, choose the Oathbound Paladin. With an NPC companion at your side, the Guardian Fighter is the better choice.
Which class deals the most damage?
If you want to deal a lot of damage (DPS), you have several options. The classes that deal particularly high damage include the Tactical Wizard, the Vigilant Ranger, and the Two-Handed Fighter. Although the Trickster Rogue, the Devastating Warlock, and the Guardian Fighter also have great potential for dealing damage, the first three are considered the most effective classes.
Tactical Wizard
Ranged attacker
You should definitely not neglect summons
Armor penetration, recovery, critical strike rating, and power are very important
Vigilant Ranger
Ranged attacker
Make sure that life leech is more important than regeneration
You should also pay attention to stats like power, critical severity, and recovery
Two-Handed Fighter
Melee fighter
A high stamina is important to reach enemies quickly
Pay attention to stats like power, critical strike rating, critical severity, recovery, armor penetration, and life steal
The decision for the DPS class should also depend on whether you want to be a melee or ranged fighter.
Which class is better as a healer?
In Neverwinter, you can choose between the Oathbound Paladin and the Devotion Cleric if you want to play a healer. Which one you should choose depends on whether you prefer targeted healing or are more focused on group healing.
Oathbound Paladin
Very strong in area healing
Can also heal passively through his Aura of Divinity
Life Aura allows him to bring back a fallen group member
Devotion Cleric
Heals targeted teammates
The Cleric also emphasizes buffs like Blessing
With the combination of buffs and healing, the Cleric is an all-rounder
The Neverwinter community tends to view the Paladin as the better healer. However, it really comes down to personal playstyle.
Which class is the best tank?
You can choose between the Oathbound Paladin and the Guardian Fighter as tanks.
The pros and cons of both classes align with those we already mentioned for the solo class. However, it should be noted that the Guardian Fighter can clear enemies faster, while the Paladin can buff the group. As is often the case in Neverwinter, the decision depends on how you like to play and what role you want to fill in the group.
Which class is best for PvP?
Here, the answer is simple: all. The classes in the game are designed and balanced so that each has its pros and cons. There is no class that is better in PvP than another. And since the “Sword of Chult” update, all players in PvP are brought to the same level with a buff. It has to be fair.
Therefore, one can only say: Play the class in PvP with which you have the most experience and can handle best. Moreover, you need to have good PvP equipment.
Your playstyle matters
Generally, in Neverwinter, your own playstyle, build, and equipment play a crucial role in which class is best suited for you. The game offers so many ways to customize your hero that it is very hard to say, “this one class is simply the best.” Additionally, you should actually be respecing all the time as you take on different challenges. Each campaign demands a different approach from you.
Perhaps you also disagree with this list because you have had your own experiences that lead you to believe that certain classes are better suited for specific actions and this list can also be totally overturned with each expansion of Neverwinter if the level cap increases or balancing is adjusted or new equipment is added to the game.
Therefore, this guide should not be seen as a definitive reference. The MMORPG Neverwinter is just too flexible in its game mechanics, and regular expansions always lead to many changes.
