Fortnite: Battle Royale (PC, PS4 & Xbox One) has launched Season 3 of the Battle Pass. The theme is space travelers, but there are also unicorns, elite soldiers, flaming poop, and even the killer John Wick from the movie!
Finally, the 3rd Season of the Battle Pass for Fortnite: Battle Royale has started. The pass is optional, costs 950 V-Bucks (approx. 9.50 Euros) and mainly gives you a bunch of cool cosmetic items.
To earn them, you just need to play diligently and ideally complete the daily challenges. Then you unlock slots and receive more and more skins, emotes, animations, and other goodies.
If you don’t want to spend anything, you will still receive some rewards from Battle Pass increases, even though the most magnificent items are only available to Battle Pass buyers. By the way, if you purchased the pass from Season 2, you get 5 tiers for free!
The Highlights of the Season Pass
The main theme of the new pass is “space travelers”. Therefore, several astronaut skins and other items are available in the Battle Pass. However, if you don’t like space travelers, you don’t have to be upset. Because Fortnite offers other themes:
- Some items are themed “Elite Agents” or “Contract Killers”
- If you like unicorns and glitter, you’ll get unicorn emojis and rainbow fall animations
- If you literally enjoy totally silly stuff, you can be excited about a flaming poop emoji, among other things.
The following highlights are in the paid version of Season 3 of the Battle Pass for Fortnite.
The Junkyard Killer
Early on, you can get a cool skin with a post-apocalyptic look. With a big shotgun and a pickaxe, you look like you just walked out of the latest Mad Max movie.
Rainbow Fall Animation & Unicorn Emoji
If you enjoy glitter, ponies, unicorns, and rainbows, you will also have a lot of fun in Season 3. Especially the fall animations “Rainbow” (Level 20) and “Star Hour” (Level 50) will make every glitter fan’s heart race. At level 90 in the pass, there’s even a hefty unicorn emoji!
Cool Space Travelers and Mean Killers from Outer Space
Already at level 1 of the paid season pass, there’s a laid-back astronaut in a spacesuit as a new skin. At level 55, the cool “Moonwalker” is added.
The most sought-after space traveler awaits you at level 70 with the “Dark Traveler”. Nobody knows who or what is behind the black helmet visor.
Also highly coveted: The already presented Flame Trail fall animation, which is only available from level 84.
Silly Stuff – Robot Dance and Poop Emoji
Once again, the list of season pass items features totally silly things. Particularly funny is the famous “Robot Dance” at level 95, a pickaxe with a pencil sharpener (level 79), and a level 80 emoji showing an angry, flaming poop! Ideal for taunting opponents!
Elite Commandos and … John Wick?!
As another theme, you will also find the skin of a ruthless elite killer at level 87. But the highlight is at level 100, at the end of the pass! Those who endure for that long and unlock everything will receive a skin called “The Grim Reaper”.
However, this is not the bony grim Reaper. Instead, you can expect a grumpy guy in a suit and beard. He bears a suspicious resemblance to the killer John Wick played by Keanu Reeves from the eponymous film series.
John Wick is considered a hidden gem among action film fans and impresses with hard-hitting action and a cool protagonist. Therefore, the skin in Fortnite is particularly coveted. A sequel was released in cinemas in 2017, and part 3 is set to be filmed soon.
Currently, it is assumed that the servers in Fortnite will be back online around 4 PM.
