In PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds (PC, Xbox One), a senior employee of Bluehole is alleged to have colluded with cheaters and cheat developers. As a double agent, he is said to have sold company secrets. But the evidence is scant!
PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds (PUBG) has long had a major problem with cheaters. Especially a large number of the fraudsters are said to come from China and ruin the fun for everyone else. Therefore, the developer Bluehole is constantly fighting against cheaters and cheat developers.
It’s frustrating when supposedly the own executives are collaborating with the “enemy”!
Collaboration with the enemy?
According to rumors on Reddit, a senior Bluehole employee from China is said to have actively collaborated with cheat developers and a cheat streamer. He is said to have shared code from the game and played a significant role in the development of cheats.
Reddit then saw a surge of rumors. Many Reddit users were by no means surprised and seemed to expect anything from Bluehole. Various streamers from China and Russia presented supposed “evidence” in videos. Additionally, the alleged rogue has also reportedly been fired.
What really happened?
Meanwhile, Andro Dars, the community manager of PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds, has made a statement on Reddit. In his statement, he said that there is indeed a suspicion of such collaboration with cheaters.
However, the employee in question is indeed part of the China team, but not the boss there. Furthermore, he does not have access to the game code. And he has also not been fired. Apparently, there is (still) not enough evidence to prove any wrongdoing on his part.
However, they would take the matter seriously and address it. The fight against cheaters is, after all, one of Bluehole’s top priorities.
It remains to be seen whether there actually was collaboration with cheaters and who is really behind it.

How to get the cards of the ratings refresh in Ultimate Team
As soon as the winter upgrade cards are released, they can be pulled in the packs. The only requirement is that the pack can contain players. The “old” cards of the respective players will not be found in the packs from that moment on.
If you already own a card of a player getting upgraded, this will remain unchanged. It will not be automatically updated. If you want the player’s card with improved attributes, you must pull it from a pack. It is also possible to acquire the winter upgrade cards from other players on the transfer market.
Attention: The cards are extremely rare and thus overpriced shortly after their release. If you want to buy an upgraded card for your team, it is advisable to wait at least a few days before making the purchase.
The archer Hanzo has a bad reputation in Overwatch. However, his arrows are much smaller than all players claim …
Even within the Overwatch player community, there are many small groups that tease or outright despise each other. Particularly “popular” are insults against “Mercy mains”, “Genji tryhards”, and of course – the perennial favorite – “Hanzo mains”.
Players of Hanzo have always had to endure a lot of mockery and ridicule.
After all, the hero is laughed at by a large part of the player base and has created the reputation of the “Hanzo main” who only plays this hero but can hit nothing with it – except for a scattershot one-hit on the tank.
Hanzo is the meme master of Overwatch
Since Overwatch has existed, there has been the notion that the hitboxes of Hanzo’s arrows are as large as tree trunks. There are numerous memes about how Hanzo fires not arrows, but entire trees at his enemies.
Now, however, the developer Geoff Goodman has surprised everyone in the Overwatch forum by clarifying that Hanzo’s arrows are not as large as everyone thinks. According to him, Hanzo’s arrows are the same size as the “smallest projectiles in the game”, such as Genji’s shuriken.
To provide a clear comparison, Goodman cited further examples. Thus, the projectiles from Mercy and D.Va’s pistols are about 150% larger than Hanzo’s arrows.
Hanzo fans hope that with Goodman’s clarification, the memes and hostility towards Hanzo players will finally come to an end. However, since we are on the internet and it simply doesn’t work that way, I wouldn’t bet on it.
In the latest expansion of Battlefield 1 Apocalypse, new dog tags were introduced. Some of the requirements are ridiculously hard.
The Apocalypse expansion is the last DLC that the developers had planned for Battlefield 1. In addition to new weapons and maps, it unlocked dog tags in the game, the requirements for which are sometimes extremely challenging. These challenges are either designed for professionals or for players with particularly good luck.
Destroy a huge behemoth with the smallest pistol?!
For the most part, the requirements for the unlockable dog tags are manageable. They are hard, but doable. Most of them relate to the new Affliction system that was activated with the DLC. These afflictions intentionally make the game harder for players so they have new challenges.
The Looming War Dog Tag requires you to get 50 melee kills while the Peacock Affliction is active. The Peacock Affliction ensures that you remain marked until death if an opponent spots you once. Other afflictions make you lose 200 points with every death or decrease your health points per second.
These challenges are hard, but solvable with a bit of effort.
Each of the dog tags has six challenges. Many have one that seems impossible. The aforementioned Looming War Dog Tag also asks you to achieve 25 kills with the melee weapon Dud Club without dying. Kills with melee weapons are generally risky. Not dying while doing so requires a lot of skill and luck.
But that’s not all: It gets even crazier. The Creeping Death tag wants you to destroy a behemoth with the Kolibri pistol. Yes, the huge behemoth that can appear as a zeppelin, airship, or battleship, and yes, the Kolibri, which is slightly smaller than a pack of cigarettes.
And then there’s the Withering Famine Dog Tag, which crowns all the challenges. One of the challenges wants you to destroy an airplane with tripwire. Just let that sink in: You are to destroy an airplane with a bomb that is on the ground and waiting to be triggered by stumbling players.
However, you are not forced to complete these crazy challenges to unlock a dog tag. It is sufficient to complete five of the six tasks per dog tag. This way, you can ignore the really crazy challenges. On Reddit, user ahrhamza shared this overview of the dog tags and afflictions from the Apocalypse DLC of Battlefield 1:
Successful Role Models
How to destroy a behemoth with the Kolibri is shown by YouTuber Ravic in this video. With a few anti-tank bombs and the small Kolibri as a trigger, you can also bring a behemoth to its knees. Technically, the kill probably counts for the Kolibri:

The colorful action MMO Closers aims to introduce a new heroine. But there are two characters to choose from. You as a player get to decide who wins.
Closers is a colorful action MMO in anime style. However, you don’t have your own hero, but play as one of the predefined characters from the “Closers Team.” These include prodigies, grim soldiers, and schoolgirls with knives.
But that’s not all. The developers plan to bring a new heroine into the game soon.
Killer Android or Sexy Spy?
You have the following two heroines to choose from:
Tina: This is a tough killer android. Although she looks like a little girl, she can fully utilize the power of “Phase Power” and is thus an excellent ranged fighter. She can also summon various weapons.
Harpy: This fighter specializes in quick aerial attacks. She has a fast fighting style and sometimes plays with her opponents. She also works as a spy.
Collect Wolf-Dog Cookies and Support Your Favorite
To support the heroine of your choice, you can collect special “Wolf-Dog-Cookies” starting March 6, 2018. You can get these cookies from the following sources:
Daily log-in
Winning PvP battles
Leveling up to level 70
When you have collected 30 cookies, you can create a support box for the heroine of your choice. The winner will be announced on a Twitch stream on March 15. The heroine who receives the most support will be brought into the game by April 3.
Since the save files for MHW are stored locally and can be easily edited, most of them are most likely fakes.
But even if these screenshots were created by manipulating the save files, one could still assume that this is the actual maximum Hunter Rank. In previous Monster Hunter games, the cap was at 999, so a maximum Hunter Rank of 999 in MHW would make sense.
You can learn more about the Hunter Rank in our article:
Fortnite: Battle Royale (PC, PS4 & Xbox One) does not yet have an established eSports league, but several top clans are already competing. Recently, FaZe joined and formed a killer team for Fortnite. In a clip, the pros showcase their skills.
In Fortnite: Battle Royale, there is still no official eSports league. However, that does not stop prominent top clans from deploying their best players in the vibrant battle royale game.
So far, the pro teams TSM and Method have already formed their own killer teams for Fortnite: Battle Royale. Now, another eSports giant joins: FaZe!
The next super killer team from the eSports scene
FaZe was founded in 2010 and has made a name for itself mainly in Counter-Strike: Global Offensive and Overwatch. In Blizzard’s hero shooter, the lineup recently reached the finals of the Major Gaming League. In CS:GO, FaZe is also frequently found in the finals, most recently at the “Eleague Major: Boston 2018”.
A team has now also been formed for Fortnite. It consists of the usual team size of four players:
Dennis “Cloak” Lepore: The team leader is a god with the sniper rifle and can target opponents mid-jump!
Thomas “72hrs” Mulligan: An excellent sniper
Thang “SpaceLyon” Phan: A true artist with the shotgun!
Brendan “Jaomock” O’Brien: Also an extremely deadly shooter
“When the eSports league comes, we are ready!”
It is clear that there is still no established eSports league for Fortnite. But “Cloak” is fighting spirit:
“We want to measure ourselves against other players. We are eagerly waiting for the chance. We can’t wait. When you build it [the eSports league], we will come!”

Is Fortnite suitable for eSports at all?
Fortnite is extremely popular, and many players are demanding a professional eSports league. Curiously, however, many players also see a problem with eSports in battle royale games like Fortnite.
Due to the high luck factor in the game, a balanced, fair competition would hardly be possible. Due to bad luck with loot or landing, it could easily happen that top players drop out unnecessarily early.
Capcom announced that Monster Hunter World has sold more than 7.5 million copies to retailers worldwide on PS4 and Xbox One. This makes the action RPG the best-selling title of all time for Capcom.
On Capcom’s official website, it has been announced that Monster Hunter World has now sold more than 7.5 million copies. This includes digital sales. This makes Monster Hunter World the most successful title in Capcom’s history. Overall, the “Monster Hunter” series has now sold 48 million copies.
Capcom aimed to conquer the world with Monster Hunter World. This endeavor seems to have succeeded.
Monster Hunter World is the first main entry for home consoles in 9 years
In Capcom’s press release, it states:
“Monster Hunter World is the latest title in the series and the first new Monster Hunter game for home consoles in nine years. It is also the first title in the series to be launched globally at the same time and received an ambitious worldwide marketing campaign to further expand its fan base both in Japan and overseas markets.”
Before Monster Hunter World, the titles in the franchise were mostly released only on handheld consoles like the Nintendo 3DS. These were very popular in Japan, while they reached a niche audience in the West. Monster Hunter has long been one of the most successful game series in Japan for this reason. Nearly 80% of sales before Monster Hunter World occurred only in Japan.
It was an important step for Capcom to release Monster Hunter World on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One to establish the title outside of Japan. These home consoles are found in many gaming households worldwide and appeal to a broader audience than handheld consoles. Capcom is likely to gain a good momentum when Monster Hunter World comes to PC in the autumn.
However, Capcom did more than just release on home consoles to achieve this success.
The global release was prepared by Capcom during development
The release on home consoles was certainly the foundation for making Monster Hunter World successful worldwide. However, Capcom took several additional steps even before the release to make Monster Hunter World successful.
“Quality of Life” adjustments: Mechanics have been modernized
Capcom specifically geared Monster Hunter World towards the global market during development. Several mechanics have been modernized and made more comfortable, which could be considered cumbersome in older installments of the franchise.
For instance, Monster Hunter World features seamless open world maps, allowing hunters to move uninterrupted from area to area.
Similarly, Scoutflies were introduced. These are small insects that guide hunters to target objects, reducing aimless wandering on the map.
There is also a training room now where hunters can practice with the 14 weapon classes before heading out for the hunt.
A fast and action-packed tutorial has been developed, where players learn the first steps and are thrown right into the action.
“Quality of Life” adjustments like the ones mentioned above facilitate entry into the game and made Monster Hunter World more accessible.
Capturing the zeitgeist: Multiplayer features have been enhanced
Multiplayer games with a “Games-as-a-Service” approach match the modern gamer zeitgeist. Although Monster Hunter World is not a full-fledged games-as-a-service title, Capcom has recognized this trend as well.
The multiplayer features have been deepened and expanded in Monster Hunter World:
There is a player search function
New global servers ensure that players can play together worldwide.
The search function includes a language filter. If you use the filter, you only encounter players who speak the selected language.
With a new online drop-in mode players can join an ongoing quest at any time.
There are hunting groups that allow up to 50 players and function like guilds
Capcom brought a strong partner onboard with Sony
For a long time, the “Monster Hunter” series was exclusive to Nintendo. The franchise was primarily released on the Nintendo 3DS and WiiU. However, for Monster Hunter World, Sony and Capcom entered into a partnership.
According to a leak, Sony and Capcom even made a deal to prevent a release on Nintendo Switch. A considerable amount of money reportedly flowed to Capcom. However, these are unconfirmed rumors.
Even though Switch is catching up, the PS4 has long been the most powerful home console on the market.
A limited PS4 Pro styled after Monster Hunter World was also available.
Free betas that excited and intrigued players
Shortly before release, Capcom offered players exclusive and free betas of Monster Hunter World on PS4. These were the perfect appetizer to convince many players.
The betas conveyed the game feel of Monster Hunter World and provided testers with somewhat better equipment. Capcom likely wanted to show where the journey could lead. The monsters were somewhat toned down here and had fewer move sets than later in the full version. This created a positive feeling about the game for many.
The training room was also available in the beta, allowing players to really get into it with all 14 weapon classes and get a taste for the game.
The public was continuously fed with information bites
Capcom pursued a media-effective strategy and continually fed the public with new info. Since the big announcement at E3, there have been well-staged trailers showcasing new monsters and maps or snippets of the story.
As a result, Monster Hunter World stayed in people’s minds and a real hype around the game was created. The sophisticated ecosystem, where animals follow a logical food chain, consistently took center stage.
Monster Hunter World received positive word-of-mouth from veterans
In addition to the internal preparations for the global release, there were also some external influences that certainly contributed to the success of Monster Hunter World. Even though the franchise remained a niche title outside of Japan, it formed a loyal and passionate fan base even outside Japan.
It was observed, even here on Mein-MMO, that veteran players repeatedly spoke positively. When newcomers were hesitant about the purchase, veterans tried to alleviate their concerns. Many were simply enthusiastic about the franchise with its hard monster battles.
Initiatives like the “Adopt-a-Hunter” program show that veterans wanted to guide as many new players as possible into the franchise.
The press was overflowing with positive reviews
Just in time for the release of Monster Hunter World, the first test reports about the action RPG appeared. Monster Hunter World received top ratings across the board and achieved a Meta score of 91 on PlayStation 4.
With these ratings, many players could hardly ignore the title and quickly picked it up themselves.
Monster Hunter World is simply a good game
Leya says: In the end, one must simply say that Monster Hunter World is a good game. Although there are always problems in multiplayer, and it is complicatedly structured. So complicated that we even published a detailed guide to multiplayer. Performance issues cannot be denied. However, these are bearable for what else is offered in Monster Hunter World.
It is understandable why Monster Hunter World has been such a hit worldwide. Capcom has thought through and prepared the release well, but has also intelligently adapted the game to the modern gamer.
What do you think about Capcom’s success with Monster Hunter World?
The Style Check in World of Warcraft is live again! There are fresh transmogs for all collectors, but only for a short time!
One of the small but fine features of World of Warcraft: Legion was the introduction of micro-holidays. These are short events that often last only a single day or a few days. Most of these activities are merely for fun and offer no rewards, but there are a few exceptions. One of these exceptions is “the great Style Check.”
The great Style Check will again take place in 2018 from March 5 to March 9.
To participate in the Style Check, simply visit a transmogifier of your trust. You can find them in Dalaran at the enchantment shop or in all other major cities (just talk to the guards).
Subsequently, you and other players will be transported to a separate version of the Terrace of Order, where NPCs will give a specific theme. These include terms like “summer fashion,” “champion of light,” or “make me laugh.” Then all participants have a few moments to adjust their transmogrification to best fit the theme.
While two players present their transmog on stage, the rest of the players can vote on who fulfilled the task better.
Once a first, second, and third place have been determined, the voting ends and players will be rewarded with tokens of the great Style Check, which can then be exchanged in Dalaran at various transmogifiers around the world for cosmetic armor sets.
New Armor Sets in 2018 for the Great Style Check
In 2018, there are four new armor sets as rewards, one for each armor type (cloth, leather, chain, plate):
Whoever manages to take first place can even purchase the “Stylish Shirt” as a special shirt. So it’s worth putting extra effort into a stylish transmog!
Do you have a particularly cool transmog for the great Style Check that you use over and over? What have you already achieved first place with? Post a screenshot of the coolest creations!
The new update “Shrine of the Eidolon” for Warframe will soon also be available for the consoles Playstation 4 and Xbox One. Then you can finally hunt the new giant Eidolons on consoles!
On PC, players have been facing the new challenges of the Plains of Eidolon for some time. Two new giant Eidolon monsters have appeared there, making the previously encountered Teralyst look like a silly dwarf.
Additionally, there are finally aircraft that you can hijack.
All these innovations are now coming to consoles.
Gantulyst and Hydrolyst invite you to the slaughter fest
Starting on March 6, the update “Shrine of the Eidolon” will be available on Playstation 4 and Xbox One. The three biggest innovations are as follows:
The gigantic Gantulyst: This new Eidolon is twice the size of a Teralyst. The Gantulyst has a massive rock as an arm and can execute powerful beam attacks.
The poisonous Hydrolyst: This Eidolon is also gigantic, but its true danger comes from the poison it continuously emits. Anyone facing the Hydrolyst should be prepared for a lot of poison damage.
Dargyn–aircraft: Those who have previously explored the Plains of Eidolon might have often cursed the annoying Dargyn flying sleds of the Grineer. These agile speeders attack from the air and are difficult to hit with some weapons. However, occasionally parked Dargyns can be found in the Plain, and if you take out the pilot before he boards, you can zoom around with the Dargyn and perform aerial attacks.
More Plains = more fun?
The new monsters in the Plains of Eidolon come out of their holes at night as usual. You can only defeat them in well-organized groups and with top gear. In return, they provide valuable loot, such as the new Arcanas. According to the developers, the Eidolons are meant to serve as a replacement for the raids that were recently removed from the game.
https://youtu.be/_lAdj0WTaHw
However, those who are not interested in the open-world map Plains of Eidolon are not very pleased. Some players complain that most of the new content is found in the Plains, neglecting the regular maps in space. However, those who enjoy venturing into the Plains are already looking forward to the update.
The Titan has always been known for its unique movement methods. With this guide, he now learns to fly in Destiny 2.
Whether it’s Titan Skating, Garrison Flying, or simply climbing impossible heights – the Titan mastered stunts that were not possible with any other class in the first Destiny installment.
In Destiny 2, his capabilities in this regard were noticeably reduced, but for some special moves, the Titan is definitely still useful.
With the following guide, we show you how to make your Titan fly in Destiny 2.
Your Titan needs this to fly
In principle, any subclass of the Titan is suitable for flying. The important thing is that the Catapult Glide is selected as the jump focus.
Before your Titan can take to the skies, he first needs the following equipment:
The exotic boots Unyielding Lion
A sword with high ammunition capacity and an upward whip as an attack.
The “Fate of the Betrayer” or the raid sword “She Stared Back” are excellent for this. The equipped sword requires Power Ammo.
Once you have everything together, your Titan is now ready for takeoff.
How to make your Titan fly
For practice, it is advisable to first find a suitable area with many elevations. The area “The Cistern” on Nessus is ideal for your first flight attempts.
Once you have positioned yourself on an elevation – preferably in front of an abyss – you can start without further ado. Here’s how to fly:
You start with a simple jump. The important thing is that you do not trigger a double jump, thus initiating the Catapult Glide. A simple hop is enough.
When you reach the highest point during the jump, immediately perform a sword attack. Wait until the sword swing animation is over (about 1 second).
Now press the jump button again. This activates the Catapult Glide.
As soon as you start losing height and momentum while gliding, perform another sword swing.
Now continue the combination of jump and sword swing as long as you like or as long as the Power Ammo supply allows.
The sword swing propels you forward, while the exotic boots and the Catapult Glide provide the necessary height.
Once you have got the hang of it, flying feels intuitive and easy. Now, no great abyss can hold you back.

While many MMOs simply fade away in silence, others go out with a bang. Here are the 5 most interesting final moments of MMOs.
Even MMOs have a shelf life, even if it’s rarely written on their imaginary forehead. Sometimes it’s a lack of money, sometimes a lack of players, and sometimes the air just runs out completely. Whatever the reasons: shutting down the servers and the final end of a game is rarely pleasant for the players.
Nevertheless, there have been developers in the past who made the best of the situation and made the last moments memorable!
This is also shown by the following five examples!

The Matrix Online was active between 2005 and 2009 but had to shut down due to weak sales and subscriber numbers: in the end, it had less than 500 active players.
On the last night, players were allowed to use the strongest spells and abilities, which they gladly did. The result of the massive use of excessively powerful abilities? Massive graphic and interface errors that made the game rather dubious. It ultimately culminated in the destruction of the avatars by crushing them into … chunks. Incredibly fitting for the Matrix.

The science fiction MMORPG Tabula Rasa faced significant endgame challenges – however, behind the scenes. The news of lead developer Richard Garriott wanting to leave the developer studio NCsoft turned out to be false. Garriott sued the studio. In the end, he was awarded $28 million.
The shutdown of the servers was justified by insufficient player numbers. Tabula Rasa ultimately ended in 2009 when a large-scale assault by the Alliance was organized to retake Earth, which had been conquered by the Bane. The Alliance eventually succeeded in freeing Earth with their combined efforts. Thus, the game ended with an epic battle that every player could enjoy taking part in.

One of the first 3D MMORPGs finally threw in the towel last year after 17 years. In 2016, the MMO developer team left the studio Turbine and took The Lord of the Rings Online with them. However, Asheron’s Call was not taken and subsequently shut down.
While the other game endings on this list involved bigger events or at least crazy situations, Asheron’s Call ended peacefully. The players were simply logged out and the servers were shut down. However, it became something significant when you consider the mood of the video. There is something almost meditative about how the players gathered, stood silently, and waited for the end – only to dissolve into pink air at the end. Divine.

The experimental browser MMO from the developer studio Tiny Speck (who later released the tool Slack as Slack Technology) didn’t have it easy from the start and was even sent back into beta phase after release since it ultimately did not meet the developers’ expectations.
In the end, it completely folded in 2012. Unlike other dying MMOs, however, not in apocalypse or mourning, but with the humor corresponding to the game. Just before the end, a dancing horse appeared, shouting “The end is near!” and ringing a bell. Later, God himself appeared in the general chat. The game could hardly have ended more aptly!

Not the end of an entire MMO, but rather the end of a version marked the video titled “The End of an Era” from Final Fantasy 14. The last minutes were marked by a large red moon and ominous thunder before the screen went black and soon after a long cutscene played.
This showed the decisive battle between the Eorzean Alliance and the Garlean Empire just before the end of the world. It then continued five years into the future with Final Fantasy 14: A Realm Reborn. The video was definitely a great idea to close a chapter.

To celebrate the anniversary of StarCraft, there is a sexy free skin for Widowmaker. We will tell you how to get it.
It has now been 20 years since Blizzard launched its own space franchise, revolutionizing the real-time strategy genre with StarCraft. For the developers, that’s reason enough to reflect on the years of development. After all, there have been numerous expansions for both StarCraft titles and recently even a remake of the first StarCraft.
To celebrate the anniversary in other games, there are all sorts of small goodies. While players of World of Warcraft only have to deal with a mundane achievement and gamers of Heroes of the Storm receive just three profile portraits, Overwatch shines as the clear winner of this promotion.
An extremely stylish skin for sniper Widowmaker in the form of Sarah Kerrigan is up for grabs.
It is the skin with which she could be seen in StarCraft 1 – as well as in this cinematic from StarCraft 2:

If you want to grab the skin, you just need to log in to Overwatch between March 6, 2018 and April 3, 2018. The offer applies to both PC and the consoles PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
Sarah Kerrigan was then a Ghost of the Terrans – an elite sniper with psychic powers. Only after she was betrayed by Mengsk was she captured by the Zerg Swarm and turned into the infamous Queen of Blades. So the skin depicts Kerrigan before her transformation into a Zerg.
It is uncertain whether the skin will still be available after April 3. However, it is possible that the skin will be moved to the regular loot boxes in the future, as was the case with a special Genji skin.
What is your first impression of the skin? Do you like the Widowmaker skin? Or does it not belong in Overwatch?
Fortnite: Battle Royale (PC, PS4 & Xbox One) is known for the crazy costumes, skins, and outfits that you can buy in the cash shop. The latest addition from the developers is the Rex skin, which makes you look like a dinosaur.
You either hate them or love them, but they are just as much a part of Fortnite as llamas and pickaxes: crazy costumes! It all started at Halloween with zombies and pumpkin heads, then at Christmas, gingerbread men, Christmas elves, or nutcrackers chased you. And for Valentine’s Day, even a love god and a shabby fluffy teddy were on the hunt.
But the developers are far from done with silly skins!
The Killer Dinosaur on the Hunt
The new skin is called “Rex” and represents a crazy dinosaur costume. At first glance, you might really think it’s a large killer lizard. But looking closer, you see that it’s more of a cheap dino costume, like the ones you often see at kids’ birthday parties with a dino theme.
With its trashy charm, the Rex skin fits perfectly into the chaotic, colorful Fortnite world. To properly announce the new outfit, the developers at Epic released a tweet. There you see a scene where a soldier hides in a kitchen from two opponents in a dino outfit behind a stove.
Fortnite goes Jurassic Park
The displayed scene is a clear reference to a legendary scene from the first Jurassic Park movie, where the main characters also hide in a kitchen from a pack of Velociraptors.
Funny detail: The Rex outfit comes with a cute dino backpack that looks like a smaller dinosaur is perched on your back. The back accessory should also be usable for other skins when purchasing the costume.
However, the Rex is unfortunately a legendary skin and costs 2,000 V-Bucks. That’s equivalent to 20 Euros!
New data from the upcoming addon of World of Warcraft suggests that the mission tables are returning. That sounds like a lot of gold.
With Warlords of Draenor, World of Warcraft introduced the infamous mission tables. Here, the player selected a mission and then a group of companions who would complete the task and return with loot for the character. This reminded many players of “Facebook” or “Mobile” games, where you wait for time to pass.
The player base was divided. However, since the feature was popular with some players, it returned in Legion in a smaller variant, namely in the form of the mission tables in the Class Halls. Here, the missions took longer, so players only had to check in every few hours – or not at all, because with few exceptions, the system was optional.
Battle for Azeroth has mission tables again
Many fans are now wondering if Battle for Azeroth will feature such mission tables again. The dataminers from wowhead seem to have already found an answer: a clear yes!

Mission tables have already been found in the game data, as well as new follower types for the Alliance. These include “Technicians,” “Infiltrators,” and “Combat Specialists.” This suggests that the missions will likely focus on the conflict between Horde and Alliance, aligning with the theme of the addon.
However, what rewards will be available and how extensively the mission tables will be part of the game is still unclear.
Cortyn says: Honestly, I have grown quite fond of the mission tables and I look forward to collecting some rewards after each login. During the lifespan of Legion, I accumulated several million gold and surely hundreds of thousands of reputation points – it adds up over the months and is a clever incentive to ensure daily logins.
Do you like mission tables like those in the Class Halls or the Garrisons? Or do these “mobile game elements” have no place in World of Warcraft?
The new hero Brigitte was recently released on the PTR for Overwatch. Since her release many pros and clever players have already tested the support and found some curious techniques. We show you the first tricks for Brigitte.
The latest addition to Overwatch will be the hero Brigitte, who is currently playable on the PTR and will likely celebrate her release on the live servers soon. She is a support and brings an interesting mix with her skill kit, which could mean a change for the current meta.
However, it is also interesting how her skills can be used in very different ways. Her shield provides her with two options through which the average Brigitte player can be distinguished from the overachievers.
Brigitte masters the ability Shield Bash. By pressing the left mouse button with the shield activated (holding down the right mouse button), Brigitte charges forward and rams enemies, stunning them temporarily.
Since she becomes faster through the short sprint, this mechanic can be exploited. She can reach positions where she normally shouldn’t be able to stand. This technique works similarly to Moira’s Fade. However, Brigitte can also move forward while jumping, allowing her to access other positions.
Beating with the Flail – Animation Canceling Increases Attack Speed
The so-called “animation canceling” refers to interrupting an animation by using another ability. Skills in Overwatch are accompanied by animations that usually must be fully executed before certain other actions can follow.
However, many heroes can interrupt this animation by using another skill, allowing them to perform new actions more quickly. They are more effective as they can perform more actions in a shorter time.
The same applies to Brigitte. By using her shield, she can interrupt the animation of her standard attack as soon as it hits, and then attack again immediately. Her attack speed becomes about one and a half times higher than standard.

Are These Exploits? Will It Stay This Way?
Brigitte is in the testing phase, so the possibility of these actions being removed still exists. The chance that animation canceling will be removed is high. The trick jumps, however, could also stay in the game.
Moira and Doomfist already have the ability to catapult themselves to higher places with their skills that increase movement speed. This has been known for a long time and is being used. So far, there have been no efforts to remove this. Brigitte has already been limited in this regard, but not much more is likely to happen.
Animation canceling, on the other hand, seems to be less welcome. For example, Reaper and Roadhog can interrupt their reload animation with melee attacks to be slightly faster, which still works.
Reinhardt, on the other hand, was also able to interrupt his attacks through his shield earlier, just like Brigitte – which was later removed from the game.
Three monsters are known from an old leak that will likely come to Monster Hunter World. We show you which ones they are.
Before the release of Monster Hunter World, a major leak surfaced with monsters that were supposed to make it into the game. After Monster Hunter World was released, it gradually became clear that this was a “true” leak.
There are still three monsters left from this leak that have not yet been announced for Monster Hunter World. Since every single monster from the leak has made it into the game so far, it is highly likely that these three will also come.
Description: Oroshi Kirin is a subspecies of Kirin and also an Elder Dragon. Bright stripes run through the dark blue fur of Oroshi Kirin. Particularly striking are its bright red eyes and glowing horn.
Oroshi Kirin controls ice and is capable of producing protective ice shards. When hunters come into contact with Oroshi Kirin’s ice blocks, they suffer ice damage. If the creature is in rage mode, no weapon sharpness can penetrate its fur.
The Oroshi Kirin is just as extremely fast as the normal Kirin and can also perform many varied attacks.
Alatreon – The Dragon of Darkness
Monster Type: Elder Dragon
Element: Dragon, Ice, Thunder, Fire
Status Attack: Dragon Damage, Ice Damage, Snow, Thunder Damage, Fire Damage
Weakness: Ice, Water, Dragon, Fire
Description: Alatreon is also known as the fire-black dragon because it embodies fire and darkness. Those who get too close to the beast can expect to be torn apart by this dragon.
The special feature of Alatreon is that it possesses an elemental instability. The dragon can use the elements dragon, fire, thunder, and ice. Alatreon is also referred to as a living natural disaster. Furthermore, its elemental instability even directly influences the weather.
The monster has a ground and flight mode. In flight mode, it can generate an ice crystal rain. Some ice crystals fall randomly, while others plummet directly onto the hunters.
Lunastra – The Flame Empress and Guardian of Omens
Monster Type: Elder Dragon
Element: Fire, Dragon
Status Attack: None
Weakness: Dragon, Ice
Related Monsters: Teostra (Male)
Description: The Lunastra is the female counterpart to the Teostra and also exhibits similarities to a lion. Her head is adorned with a large mane. In between is a skull plate that crowns the head of Lunastra.
Lunastra produces a lightly flammable powder, which she disperses in the air with her wings. She can rub her teeth against one another like flint, creating a spark. The spark ignites the powder around her, resulting in massive explosions.
Just like Teostra, Lunastra loses her fire abilities once she has been poisoned or when her skull plates are destroyed.
These three Elder Dragons have NOT yet been officially confirmed. But even Deviljho is on the leak list, and he is now coming as the first DLC monster.
Fans are concerned about the fate of Heroes of the Storm. They see many signs that Blizzard’s MOBA is going the “Paragon way.”
In the attempt to regain control of the MOBA genre, Heroes of the Storm has failed. Nevertheless, there is a small but loyal community that regularly plays the game.
On Reddit and in the official forums of Heroes of the Storm, players are increasingly worried. After all, HotS has not performed well in recent financial reports and has been rather a negative factor for Blizzard: After a brief improvement due to a crossover with Overwatch, this momentum could not be maintained in the last quarters.
Recently, the Blizzard shop has raised concerns. There is very little merchandise for Heroes of the Storm left, which fans interpret as a clear hint that the game will soon “do a Paragon” and die. The colleagues from PCGamesN spoke with Sam Braithwaite, the eSports Franchise Lead of Heroes of the Storm, who reassured the fans.
Blizzard reassures worried fans
The merchandise has nothing to do with the game and Heroes of the Storm is not dying. There are already concrete plans for the content that is set to come in 2019, and work is already underway for the announcements for BlizzCon. For the foreseeable future, Heroes of the Storm will likely continue to exist. Players can expect “the same level of game development as they have been used to so far.”
Furthermore, Blizzard has announced that they want to produce fewer new heroes. Fans see this as further evidence that resources are being withdrawn from HotS. But here too, Blizzard reassures. They simply want to invest more time in existing heroes, conduct some reworks, and ensure that all heroes have a reasonable place in the game. Currently, Sonya and Medivh are being reworked and more heroes are to follow.
Cortyn says: Even though I don’t see the “death” of Heroes of the Storm on the horizon yet, I would miss the game. HotS does many things right that make other MOBAs boring and tedious in my opinion. Additionally, the familiar, likable heroes from the Blizzard universes captivate me much more than gods in SMITE or … anyone … in DOTA. I hope that Heroes of the Storm will improve.
Are you still playing Heroes of the Storm? Would you miss it if it disappeared? Or do you not care about the fate of the game?
Fortnite: Battle Royale (PC, PS4 & Xbox One) is also a topic in the infamous internet show “Honest Trailer.” Hardly any game or movie gets a good review. But Fortnite can only be trolled in the PvE mode.
“Honest Trailers” is an internet show that mercilessly takes movies and games head-on and, as a counterpoint to the usual praise-filled PR blabber, makes an “honest statement.” This often ends up in a pretty heavy critique when bad movies like “Transformers” or controversial games like “Battlefront 2” are presented with all their flaws.
However, there are also titles that come off well and only receive mild ridicule or even praise. This recently happened with the Honest Trailer for Monster Hunter World and continues with Fortnite.
PvE? Nobody plays that!
The trailer starts with almost 2 minutes of explanation about Fortnite. Specifically about the PvE mode “Save the World,” which according to the trailer “has been in Early Access since the Stone Age.”
After the speaker lists numerous features of the PvE mode with his usual cool “Awesome Voice” and eventually tries to explain the complex upgrades, he suddenly cuts off and says: “Just kidding, nobody plays this mode!”
A nasty jab at the game’s development, which was originally not focused on PvP at all. Since Battle Royale has become so successful, more and more resources are funneled into this mode and not into PvE anymore.
The lightest version of a murderous game show!
Instead of the PvE mode, the rest of the trailer revolves around the far more popular PvP mode Battle Royale. It is described as a truly “lighthearted version of a murderous game show” and you don’t need to “be a member of a separatist militia to succeed in it.”
A reference to the significantly more complex gameplay of PUBG, in which you have to enhance weapons and approach more tactically. However, the “classic PUBG tactic” would also work. That is, hiding in a corner and camping for the entire match.
We have embedded the video with the Honest Trailer here for you. Stay tuned until the end and don’t miss the reference to Guardians of the Galaxy 2: “I’m Mary Poppins y’all!”
Saturn and Smartmobil are already offering initial contracts including the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9 Plus. Additionally, more plans are available.

With Smartmobil, you even have the option to get the Galaxy S9 and the Galaxy S9 Plus for a one-time device price of one Euro. With the plan smartmobil LTE Pro, you receive an all-net flat rate in all German networks. Additionally, you receive 5 GB of data volume per month. With the same plan, you also receive the Galaxy S9. Here, a monthly fee of 44.99 Euros is applicable. The plan also effectively costs 10 Euros and the smartphone 35 Euros per month.
