Fortnite: Battle Royale not only looks colorful and silly. Thanks to many emotes, you can also pose particularly silly. For instance, you can sprinkle salt in front of your opponent, perform a facepalm, or salute.
Or you can shake it on the dance floor and mock your opponents with particularly outrageous dances. One of those is currently popular online: the “Floss dance”.
Floss Dance, this is what it’s about
In the “Floss” dance, your character just stands there and swings their arms back and forth at hip height, as if they were cleaning their between-teeth with floss. The dance originally comes from a 16-year-old boy known as “The Backpack Kid”.
The teenager with the namesake backpack appeared on the US show Saturday Night Live (SNL) in May 2017 together with the artist Katy Perry to the song “Swish Swish”.

The Floss Dance in Fortnite
The bizarre Floss dance certainly fits well with Fortnite, where there are already some outrageous moves like the “Pony Ride”, the “Worm”, and the “Dab”. Therefore, the Floss dance is also available in the game. Few moves are better suited for mocking opponents or impressing your own team. However, the dance isn’t just given away.

Anyone who wants to have the dance had to unlock it. Unfortunately, that was only possible in the already concluded 2nd season of the Battle Pass. There, the Floss dance was available as a premium reward at level 49.
If you didn’t reach that far back then, you can’t unlock the dance anymore. But perhaps the developers will have mercy and provide the dance at a later date as a new Battle Pass reward or offer it in the real-money shop.
Fun Fact: The Floss dance is also found in other online games, like Destiny 2.

For Sea of Thieves, there will be no premium versions with early access to the game. There is an edition for PC (Windows 10) and Xbox One, and it is supposed to be released worldwide simultaneously. You have the choice of purchasing a physical version or a digital version.

Metal Gear Survive (PS4, PC and Xbox One) has already been reviewed by several sites and magazines, and rated. We have compiled the review scores and Metacritic results here.
Konami’s survival shooter Metal Gear Survive revolves around wild battles against zombies and the fight for survival. The story takes place in a parallel dimension, into which some soldiers from Metal Gear Solid 5 have been thrust. Throughout the game, you will fight hordes of zombies and collect vital resources.
The first Metal Gear without Hideo Kojima
Metal Gear Survive is the first game in the series that has to cope without the series’ creator Hideo Kojima. Kojima left after a dispute with publisher Konami in 2015 and was no longer involved in the Metal Gear series.
This was disappointing for many fans of the series, who feared that the quality of the Metal Gear games would suffer without their creator. This became partly fatal for Metal Gear Survive, because those expecting a game like the recently released Phantom Pain are now offered something different.
Criticism and Reviews on Release at a Glance
The ratings and tests of Metal Gear Survive on Metacritic are not exactly outstanding. There are some who rate the game well, as a pure survival shooter, the game would function quite decently. However, many reviews give the title rather average ratings.
This results in a meta score of just 65 for the PS4 version according to the specialist press. 100 would be the maximum.

In user ratings, Metal Gear Survive performed really poorly. At the time of this report on February 27, 2018, 111 out of 144 user reviews were negative. This results in an overall fan rating on the PS4 of just 1.6.

If it weren’t called “Metal Gear” …
The consensus of many testers is: “If Konami had not called the game ‘Metal Gear’ …” Because the zombie and survival spectacle is actually a good game that is fun. But it has hardly anything to do with the legendary Metal Gear series. Fans of this series will mostly be disappointed.
At Game Revolution, Metal Gear Survive received a proud score of 80 points in the test. The tester finds that it is a really well-made survival game with zombies. However, it is not a good Metal Gear game, as it differs too much from its predecessors. If it would release as a standalone title without Metal Gear connections, it would probably be more successful.
GamePro – “It’s somehow good”
At GamePro, they are surprisingly satisfied with the game. It has nothing to do with the main series and is a completely different game. But somehow it’s fun and would provide regular success experiences, especially when you finally get food to avoid starving to death. A concrete test rating is still pending.
IGN – “Different, but not necessarily bad”
The site IGN only awarded an average of 65 points, but they didn’t find the game that bad at all. It’s just not what one expects from a Metal Gear game. However, the reorientation still has its charm.
Destructoid – “It would have been better as a Free2Play game”
Destructoid gave 50 points in their test and found the game rather dull and unnecessarily complicated. While it is certainly fun to fight through the game and unlock new features, the cumbersome menus, online requirements, and microtransactions are a nightmare according to the tester! The game would have been better off as a free-to-play game than as a full-price title.
Legends of Aria is intended to be a spiritual successor to the MMORPG classic Ultima Online, but that is not enough for fans. They are recreating the world of Britannia with a community server, a kind of Ultima Online 2.
Many fans desire a new Ultima Online (UO), but the rights holder Electronic Arts has not announced anything of the sort and there is nothing to expect. Therefore, fans are looking elsewhere. For instance, towards Shroud of the Avatar or Legends of Aria. It is currently in Closed Beta and could become a kind of modern UO in terms of gameplay.
Ultima Online 2 as a Fan Project in a New MMORPG
For many fans, not only the actual gameplay contributes to the feeling of a new UO, but also the world and the lore. And that is something the developers of Legends of Aria cannot provide for legal reasons – but they offer something else that makes the MMORPG interesting for UO fans: it is possible to create your own worlds with your own rules.
This is where the Stimwalt Studios come in, which are currently recreating the world of Britannia as their own server for Legends of Aria with Legends of Ultima. So this is a fan team, not the actual team of the new MMORPG “Legends of Aria.”

Currently, it is possible to play on a test world that does not yet have the world map of Britannia. This can only be taken over by the developers when the Early Access version launches on Steam in April. This version will allow assets from the Unity editor to be transferred into the game.
The team has already created the world map in this tool and is basically just waiting for it to be transferred into Legends of Aria.
Legends of Ultima aims to come as close as possible to Ultima Online. Whether Electronic Arts ultimately takes action against this project remains to be seen.

Shiny Pikachu at the Event
If you are lucky, you might find a Shiny Pikachu with a party hat. Many trainers have already confirmed on Reddit that the Shiny version is available in the wild.

Sandbox Interactive has presented the major update Lancelot for the MMORPG Albion Online in more detail, which will be released on March 12.

Luxury Goods – Monsters now also leave behind relics from the antiquity of Albion. These luxury goods can only be sold at the marketplace in a specific city, for which you have to transport them there first. Since the relics are highly sought after, you may be ambushed on the way.
New Hellgates – New types of Hellgates for smaller PvP battles, which also offer spontaneous full-loot PvP.
New Expeditions and More – With “In the Claws of the Raven,” a new Tier 6 group expedition awaits you. Your task is to rescue a captured agent from the clutches of Morgana’s followers.
