Today, on March 15th, there will be server maintenance in Fortnite . During this time, the game will be offline. How long will Fortnite be down on PS4, Xbox One, and PC? What does update 3.3.0 include? We probably won’t see a new mode – but llamas and explosive remote charges!
To prepare the servers for the new update, version 3.3.0, they will be taken offline for an indefinite period.
At 10:00 AM German time, the Fortnite servers will be down.
Matchmaking for the Battle Royale mode will be disabled half an hour earlier – at 09:30 AM.
So far, it is not known how long the servers will be offline.
We will update this post for you when the servers are back online.
The Fortnite servers were back online around 12:00 PM.
What does update 3.3.0 bring to Fortnite on PS4, Xbox One, and PC? Llamas and explosive charges!
The patch notes for 3.3.0 are expected to be released during the maintenance. What the update will bring is not known except for the llamas spread across the map and the remote charges.
The C4 remote charges are also coming to Fortnite: Battle Royale and are expected to enable new tactical gameplay variations. You can attach a C4 charge anywhere and then detonate it.
In the patch, as in previous weeks, several bug fixes are likely to be included. Self-rotating parts continue to be a problem.
Bye Bye, smoke grenades! What about the new Halo skin?
With the addition of the C4 remote charges, the unpopular smoke grenades will be removed from Fortnite: Battle Royale. These are “going back to the workshop” and will be examined for customization options. It is therefore possible that they will return in the future.
Since Monday, interested players can register with Epic for a chance to receive an invitation for the mobile version of Fortnite: Battle Royale. The invitations will not be distributed randomly via lottery, but targeted, as Epic has now revealed.
To take part in the first round of Fortnite: Battle Royale on smartphones and tablets, you need an Apple device. Fortnite Mobile currently runs only on iOS.
Fortnite on Android will follow in the coming months, according to Epic. However, those who thought the invitations to interested players would be sent randomly are mistaken, as Epic employee Nick Chester has now revealed.
First come, first served, right?
According to Nick Chester, factors such as the order of registration, distance to the data center, and the selected model (on which the game will be played) play a role.
At least the order of registration raises questions. After all, the site was closed for maintenance for a long time after a short time window. The few players who were able to register before this maintenance will likely have an advantage. However, how Epic will balance this is not known.
Regarding the Apple device on which you want to play Fortnite: Battle Royale, you need not worry that only the latest iPads or the iPhone X will be supported. Epic wants to test the game behavior on as many different devices as possible – players with an iPhone 6S therefore have the same chances as the iPad Pro lineup.
The distance to data centers and access points also plays a similar role. Epic wants to test whether all players – whether close to or far from the data centers – receive a stable gaming experience. It can therefore be assumed that location will also play a role in the selection.
Will players’ experiences matter?
When selecting the invited players, other factors can be considered. Factors such as playtime, number of wins, or personal K/D may play a role in the selection.
However, Epic will presumably diversify in this regard as well. Players with different skills and play durations will be selected to ensure the widest possible range.
Anyone who has registered with Epic for the mobile version will have seen that Epic asked whether you have played Fortnite before. It is not excluded that especially players who have had no prior contact with Fortnite will be invited – a large pool of experienced players is already available.
But nothing helps – interested players will simply have to wait. Epic has assured that more and more players will be invited in the coming weeks and months. Sooner or later, everyone will be able to play Fortnite: Battle Royale on their smartphone or tablet.
Do you find these selection criteria reasonable?

The New Assignment update brings the three classes Trapper, Stalker, and Guerrilla to the Ghost War game mode. Additionally, the developers unlock a new voting feature, allowing players to vote for one of three maps before a match.
The update has been available since March 14 and is about 4 GB on Steam. On UPlay and on PS4 and Xbox One, 15 GB must be downloaded.
For the Salvage game mode, the new maps Refinery and Cliff are available.
Refinery
The factory on this map is the largest cocaine lab in all of Bolivia. There are many paths that allow for various tactics to salvage.
Cliff
This village was once a rebel fortress and is now under the leadership of Santa Blanca. The tall buildings provide advantages for snipers.
New Classes for Ghost War
The three new classes are available through the Season Pass and the Ghost War Pass. If you do not own either pass, you can purchase the classes with Prestige Credits.
Trapper: With the Trapper, a precision shooter with a passive and an active ability joins the game. His passive ability marks fallen enemies on the HUD on the map for the team. The active ability allows placing stun gas traps remotely.
Stalker: This precision shooter class has two passive abilities. Enemies that are too far away cannot hear the shots from this class and do not perceive sound signatures. Additionally, enemies do not receive notifications when marked by the Stalker.
Guerrilla: A support class with a drone that can throw smoke grenades. All players in the smoke area are concealed and lose their marking. Furthermore, they cannot be marked again by drones, targeting, or binoculars during that time.
Additionally, GRW has shown on a roadmap that the next updates “Reinforcement” and “Bravo 6” will now be bundled as a single update in April. You can find the full patch notes for the new update here on the Ghost Recon Wildlands website.
The patch 4.25 of Final Fantasy XIV is now live and along with it the open world content “Forbidden Land Eureka”. We have a guide for leveling and farming in the new Forbidden Land, which allows you to obtain the relic weapons and relic armor.
In this guide, you will find useful tips and tricks for quick leveling and farming for the new relic equipment.
Basics – FFXIV Eureka Guide
Basically, you can enter the Forbidden Land Eureka both solo and in a group. Group formation is also possible and strongly recommended within the instance.
The item level is lowered to 300 upon entering the area and you can spend a maximum of 180 minutes there.
Flying is generally not possible in Eureka, and to unlock the mounts, you must complete the level 17 story quest of Eureka.
You can only switch jobs at the main camp at the entrance of Eureka. Next to the aetheryte in this camp, there are two more crystals on the map.
However, these can only be used when you have reached an elemental level of 9. You can also only teleport from one crystal to another.
The proximity to these crystals will not protect you from monsters. If monsters randomly come close, they will attack you just like anywhere else.
The quests also work differently in Eureka. There is no archive where you can check where to go next. Players should remember well what hints the NPCs have given; otherwise, it may happen that you forget where to go.
Some of the quests are also designed so that you must cooperate with at least one other player to solve them.
At the NPC material manager, you can buy various potions. They don’t cost much but can only be used in Eureka.
It is advisable to have at least a handful of healing potions and antidotes, as they help while farming or can even save the player’s life in FATEs.

Instead of the normal levels, there is a separate element-based leveling system in Eureka. Players need Maginite, which can be used on the Magia Board to change their elemental strengths and weaknesses.
Maginite is obtained through leveling and completing quests within Eureka.
To place the Maginite on the Magia Board, you must use the Magia Fuser at the main camp at the entrance. It is the only place where players can place their Maginite.
You can see how much bonus the respective element receives by inserting the Maginite also on the display of the Magia Fuser. Two inserted Maginite give a bonus of 52%.
Basically, you want to adapt your element to the opponent you are fighting at the moment. To be able to do that quickly in battle, the board can be rotated.
Which elements the opponents are weak against can be seen directly on the Magia Board when you target them.
You can use elemental properties both offensively and defensively. In this case, the monster being targeted is wind-elemental.
That means:
The DPS and healers should invest their Maginite into the ice element to deal more damage.
The tanks, on the other hand, should choose the same element as the monster, as they will take much less damage as a result.
Your own elemental properties can be changed at any time by rotating the Magia Board. A completed rotation consumes one MA point, of which you can have a maximum of 5.
A rotation can consist of several turns in different directions. As long as the element is not locked, the MA point is not consumed.
The MA points are slowly replenished over time or can alternatively be fully replenished directly at the Magia Fuser.
Monsters of Eureka
The enemies in Eureka all have a fixed assigned elemental property and a level. For example, the level 1 spinning crabs are water-elemental and the level 9 black wolves are fire-elemental.
The monsters also possess four different aggro patterns:
They attack either upon line of sight: sight
when they hear the players’ steps: sound
when a character’s HP falls into the yellow area: blood
or when someone uses magic in their vicinity: magic
In general, the rule is: Everything with eyes is “sight-aggro,” meaning most animal monsters like crabs, wolves, or frogs and everything that walks on two legs.
But also magical beings like imps, bombers, or puddings. This means that you can stand right behind them without being attacked.
Unfortunately, you cannot infer in reverse that everything that “has no eyes” is “sound-aggro.” The sound-aggro monsters are, however, rarer and harder to identify.
Some plant monsters like morbols or bats, but also opponents like leeches or sea bishops can be classified as “sound-aggro.” As mentioned, unfortunately, it is not immediately visible, and only personal experience helps.
The “blood-aggro” occurs primarily with undead creatures like skeletons or ghosts, and “magic-aggro” only with elementals.
Additionally, the chance of being attacked by an opponent decreases with the increasing level. At level 4, you will be left alone by level 1 mosslings and crabs.
Overall, you can categorize the opponents in Anemos into three different categories:
Normal Level Mobs
These are the enemies you will fight in regular level groups. They do not have much HP and drop the coveted unstable crystals after death, which are needed for upgrading the relic equipment.
On the map, they gather in groups in specific areas, which can be seen in this overview.
Some of the monsters only appear under certain conditions, such as weather or time of day. For example, you can only find the undead like skeletons at night.
Notorious Monsters
This special type of enemy will be familiar to FFXI players. They appear as boss enemies in special FATEs of Eureka after certain conditions are met.
The FATEs can feature specific mechanics, similar to those in Ixion, which players must manage. These mechanics are often related to the elemental system of Eureka.
So in the FATE “Numerical Superiority,” you need to destroy portals, which have different elemental weaknesses, as quickly as possible to summon strong monsters.
As rewards for successfully completing, players receive large amounts of EXP, Anemos crystals, and lockboxes. Additionally, you can receive other small rewards.
For instance, from the FATE of the Anemos Emperor, you receive the level 1 headgear “Emperor’s Hairpin”.
To trigger the FATEs of the Notorious Monsters, you have to kill certain monsters. You can find all known Notorious Monsters and the necessary foes for them in the following table:

The table will be updated as new information becomes available regarding the NMs and their FATEs. The amount of opponents that need to be killed to trigger the FATEs varies widely. Player reports range from a dozen to nearly 100 monsters.
The notorious monsters are very strong and can take quite a bit of damage, even in low-level FATEs. However, like regular FATEs, their strength scales with the number of players who have participated in the previous FATE.
Friendly Monsters
The friendly enemies are various elemental spirits of Anemos. They are relatively rare and primarily inhabit larger areas populated by many monsters.
When interacting with them, you receive the buff “Elemental Blessing,” which has a significant impact. It increases attack power and grants a regen effect. Additionally, you receive more EXP from the enemies.
The buff lasts for one hour, and if players encounter such an elemental, they should definitely try to obtain the buff.
However, the fairies will not stay forever. After granting the buff to a certain number of players, they will disappear again.
On this map, you can find the possible appearance locations of the elementals. But beware: If they get caught by the AOEs of other enemies, they can die.
Leveling
Since Eureka is group content, leveling in groups is also more efficient than solo. Veterans from FFXI will be familiar with the process.
Group Composition
First, you build your own group using the new adventurer list or join an already existing group. A full group should be balanced in terms of jobs and ideally include the following roles:
1 to 2 tanks
2 healers
1 bard or machinist
1 red mage or summoner
One tank is enough to hold the enemies. However, a second tank is recommended for those “Oh shit!” situations that can and will happen. But as long as everything is fine, the second tank can stay in DPS stance.
Two healers are also a precaution. Firstly, it makes survival much easier and more comfortable.
Secondly, there is someone to resurrect the first healer if a monster decides to turn around in the middle of the fight and smack them. However, red mages or summoners can also serve as backup.
Bards and machinists are there because healers and melee fighters will eventually run out of MP and TP. Of course, they are not strictly necessary but practical to have.
Group members can either be found via the /shout command or by going into the adventurer list and directly asking players if they want to join.
Farming Camps
Within the group, you need to agree on what type of enemies you want to farm.
While you receive less EXP per enemy in a group because it gets split among all group members, monsters go down much faster in a group.
Therefore, it is advisable to farm enemies that are about 2 levels above you with a light team of 4-5 players. With 7-8 players in a group, you can tackle 4-5 levels stronger enemies.
There are certain “camps,” areas on the map where many monsters with the same elemental weaknesses gather.
At lower levels, for example, the area around X: 28.7 / Y: 27.1, where there are many water-elemental sheep yolks, or X: 13.1 / Y: 21.8 with many cactuars and protoplasm.
Players must adapt to the elemental strengths and weaknesses of the respective monsters on-site.
Thus, the DPS and healers in the sheep yolk camp would choose thunder as their attack element to deal more damage, and the tanks water for better defense.
As soon as everyone gathers at the camp, you look for a safe monster-free spot a bit off to begin pulling the enemies. Basically, this should be done by the tank, as everyone else will take extreme damage, up to one-shot.
Even if you don’t always have to pull only 1 monster at a time, but sometimes 2 or 3, you should still be careful. Dying in Eureka is heavily punished from level 6.
A character at level 6+ who is not revived within 10 minutes loses 25% of their EXP. A “level down” can only occur starting from level 11.
Success Strands: A New Mechanic
Another new feature that has made its way into the combat system of Eureka is the strands, also called “chains.”
It builds up automatically when you kill enemies within a short time. The maximum chain level is 30. After that, the counter resets to 0.
Each additional level in the chain increases the EXP gained by 3%.
The time in which you must kill the next monster to extend the chain decreases until it reaches down to 45 seconds.
The effect of the success strands is in addition to an increased chance of obtaining unstable crystals, also an increased EXP rate. Therefore, it is important to keep the chains from breaking as much as possible.
However, you should keep the following in mind:
Enemies below your level do not grant a success strand
Enemies attacked first by someone else provide little to no EXP
HOWEVER: Killing foreign monsters can extend your own success strand
Therefore, when players level, they should do so as much as possible away from other players and on enemies that are higher level than themselves.
FATEs of Eureka
As mentioned above, FATEs in Eureka are triggered by killing certain types of enemies. As soon as such a FATE appears on the map, you should immediately head there.
Not only do you receive lockboxes and Anemos crystals from there, but FATEs also give you an incredibly large amount of EXP.
Depending on the level of the FATE, you receive more or less EXP, but they are always worth it – so don’t miss them!
As with normal FATEs, it is important to join a group to be resurrected more quickly if you die and to receive as high rewards as possible.
After completion, FATEs go on cooldown, which can last between 90 and 120 minutes, so they cannot be triggered consecutively.
It cannot be emphasized enough how important it is to participate in such a FATE, so be sure to join!

There are a total of three different types of loot that you can obtain from enemies in Eureka.
Unstable Crystals
These are randomly dropped by enemies while leveling. Stronger monsters at level 15+ drop correspondingly more crystals.
They can be turned in to Gerolt to obtain the improved job-specific armor.
Anemos Crystals
Larger forms of unstable crystals. You receive them from special FATEs in Eureka and can exchange them for the ilvl 350 Anemos equipment.
Alternatively, you can have them broken down by Gerolt into unstable crystals. It is up to each player whether to break them down or not.
The exchange rate is random, and per Anemos crystal, you can expect 2-5 unstable ones. So if you can already obtain the unstable crystals through efficient farming, it is worth saving the Anemos crystals.
Lockboxes
The lockboxes function just like in Diadem. You also receive them from FATEs and can have them decrypted by the NPC.
The items contained within are varied: mounts, companions, Chocobo saddles, level 1 projection outfits for all classes, materia, and of course a lot of useless stuff that will clutter your inventory.
Here is the list of known special items that can be obtained from the lockboxes:
Level 1 Projection Armor
Anemos Hat
Anemos Cask
Anemos Jacket
Anemos Gambeson
Anemos Shirt with Suspenders
Anemos Gloves
Anemos Targeting Gloves
Anemos Sarouel
Anemos Chaps
Anemos Boots
Anemos Targeting Boots
Companions
Mini Fafnir
Mithra Doll
Prince of Anemos
Mount
Tyrannosaurus Mount
Miscellaneous
Red Mage Chocobo Saddle
Sheet Music “No Quarter”
Sheet Music “Wicked Winds Whisper”
Sharlayan Wardrobe
Sharlayan Chest
Relic Weapons and Armors
The new relic quest begins in Eureka after completing a level 1 quest. For this, bring Krille an unstable crystal.
After that, you can upgrade the job-specific ilvl 290 equipment obtained from the level 70 job quest with the help of these crystals from Gerolt.
These form the basis for future upgrades of the relic armor set until it becomes “best in slot”.
The upgrades start at ilvl 335 and occur gradually in increments of 5 ilvl. For this, players must carry the items that Gerolt should upgrade.
The steps are very simple. You just need to bring Gerolt about a ton of unstable crystals to get the gear upgraded to quality level +2, and then another half ton of Anemos crystals to make the last upgrade step.
In total, players need the following amount of crystals for individual armor sets:
Step 1 at ilvl 335: Requires 350 unstable crystals
Step 2 at ilvl 340: Requires 1150 unstable crystals
Step 3 at ilvl 345: Requires 2800 unstable crystals
Step 4 at ilvl 350 without weapon: Requires 1150 Anemos crystals
From ilvl 350, the armor can be dyed and gets 5 guaranteed materia slots.
The weapon will be upgraded separately in a later step and will receive a glowing effect that cannot be dyed. It also has 5 guaranteed materia slots.
For the final step of the weapon, you need exactly 3 Pazuzu Feathers, which you receive from the Pazuzu NM FATE. To trigger the FATE, you must kill shadow spirits.
The FATE of Pazuzu has a cooldown of only one hour, but it can only appear in stormy weather conditions.
After successful completion, you directly receive all 3 feathers, but only if you are at least level 19.
In total, you need 3 feathers and 5450 crystals, which is definitely a significant amount. With the help of this guide, the farming time should definitely be considerably reduced.
Good luck playing!
Eureka is a first highlight in 2018 – What else can we expect?
Microsoft recently announced when the company will hold its Xbox briefing at the upcoming E3. This year, the new features from Redmond will be presented on a Sunday. They promise the biggest appearance ever.
The Xbox briefing during this year’s Electronic Entertainment Expo, or E3, will take place this time at the Microsoft Theater in the LA Live entertainment complex, which will serve as the central hub for many Xbox events throughout the week.
The presentation itself will be held on Sunday, June 10 at 1 PM local time. German fans should set their alarms for 10 PM.
The briefing will be accompanied by various Xbox FanFest activities, hands-on gameplay, and demos for all E3 attendees. In addition, Microsoft will be present at the LA Convention Center, where they will focus exclusively on the streaming platform Mixer.
Presentation is expected to be “different”
According to Tom Warren from The Verge, Microsoft has planned something “different” for this year’s Xbox briefing. What this “different” is has not been revealed, but this hint is expected to make sense soon.
Mike Nichols, Corporate Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer of the Xbox brand, is taking a bold approach and promises nothing less than the “biggest appearance ever”:
“Since our first appearance at E3 in 2000, Xbox has had a significant presence at the show and provides exclusive and immersive opportunities for fans to know what we are planning. 2018 will be no different. In fact, it will be our biggest show ever presented.”
In recent years, the Xbox One has often been criticized for its lack of exclusive titles. Observers have repeatedly pointed out that there are no system sellers to convince people to buy an Xbox.
Do you think Microsoft can address the issue with the “biggest appearance ever?”
Fortnite (PC, PS4 & Xbox One) is currently in the spotlight of hackers and thieves. Hundreds of player accounts have been hacked. If the accounts were linked to credit cards or PayPal, money was also stolen. Fortunately, there are ways to avoid this.
Fortnite is currently a mega-hit with millions of players. Some of them may not be having much fun in the game right now. Several hackers are on the loose, attacking Fortnite accounts en masse.
The victims often realize they have been hacked only when suddenly hundreds of Euros for alleged Fortnite purchases appear on their credit card bills or PayPal statements.
Russian Hackers on the Prowl
The hackers seem to be coming from Russia, as victims have suddenly seen names in Cyrillic script appear in their contacts or purchase confirmations were in Russian. It is unclear how the hackers accessed the victims’ accounts.
Well-known hacking techniques like phishing or cracking weak passwords are conceivable. Epic Games assumes that the victims had poor password protection. There are no known security vulnerabilities at Epic itself.
What to Do When Your Account is Hacked?
If you notice that your account has been hacked, you should immediately contact Epic Games Support. You should also contact your credit card company or PayPal and temporarily freeze your account. Your Fortnite account can also be temporarily suspended by support until everything is clarified.
Then scan your computer thoroughly for viruses and change your password on Fortnite. For previous victims, support was able to help quickly, but it takes a few days for the money to be returned and the account to be unlocked.
How to Protect Yourself from Hackers
To prevent a hack from happening in the first place, you should adhere to the following tips:
Use secure and unique passwords for Fortnite
Download Fortnite only from the official Epic site. There are numerous shady sites that may want to trick you
PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds (PC, Xbox One) will receive new weapons in 2018, one of which has already been teased. Fans believe they have guessed the weapon, which is likely to be the FN FAL.
PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds (PUBG) has a lot planned for 2018. In a roadmap for the year 2018, the developers promised new maps, emotes, and new weapons. An initial teaser image has already been shown to the community – we have used it as the title image for this article.
Shortly thereafter, some fans on Reddit had a clear suspicion of what the new weapon might be.
The FN FAL – Finally a big NATO rifle for PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds
According to fans on Reddit, the weapon in the teaser clip is the FN FAL from Belgium. FAL stands for “Fusil Automatique Léger” which translates to “Light Automatic Rifle”. However, the weapon is quite substantial. As the first NATO weapon in the game, it uses the hefty caliber of 7.62 mm.
This ammunition has only been associated with Eastern European assault rifles such as the Kalashnikov until now. Shooter fans might recognize the FN FAL from various Call of Duty and Battlefield games.
L1A1 SLR or DSA-58 OSW instead of the original?
However, it is possible that in PUBG it is not exactly the FN FAL but rather a licensed product from another manufacturer. The Enfield L1A1 SLR or DSA-58 OSW could also be considered.
Which upgrades the FN FAL can utilize is not known, nor when the weapon will come to the game.
Call of Duty Black Ops 4 with Battle Royale mode? Publisher Activision Blizzard, the company behind Call of Duty and Destiny 2, is “very aware” of the popularity of the genre.
It is quite possible that Activision will soon take a piece of the Battle Royale pie. This means that future (and current) games are theoretically eligible for a BR mode. This can be inferred from statements by the investment firm Oppenheimer.
Activision could ride the trend
Recently, Oppenheimer and Activision met for a meeting. The Financial Officer of Activision stated there that the company can quickly jump on lucrative trends. And Battle Royale is exactly that for the companies behind it – lucrative. The success of games like Fortnite and PUBG has not gone unnoticed by Activision Blizzard.
“The investment firm says that Activision is very aware of how much game publishers have recently benefited from releasing titles in the Battle Royale genre,” explains Dow Jones Newswires.
“Management has reminded investors that the company is a ‘Fast Follower’. Translated, a Fast Follower is a company that is quick to implement good, new ideas from other companies.”
Whether a Battle Royale mode will be activated in the new Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 remains unclear. The typical modes in a Call of Duty game include the single-player campaign, multiplayer mode with additional features, and the zombie mode.
A BR mode would probably only be feasible in a special implementation. After all, CoD is a first-person shooter, and most Battle Royale games can also be played in third-person mode. Whether CoD will then adapt to a third-person perspective or only present the BR mode in first-person perspective are questions the community is asking.
However, nothing further has been officially confirmed here except: Activision knows that Battle Royale is currently all the rage. It remains exciting to see what news Activision will use to attract attention in the coming weeks and months.
The new boss Izax from patch 5.8 of Star Wars: The Old Republic (SWTOR) doesn’t do things by halves. After less than 10 seconds, all players are dead.
The latest patch for Star Wars: The Old Republic will be released next week. The biggest feature for fans of challenging operations is likely to be the fresh boss Izax, one of the “Machine Gods” from which later the religions on Zakuul emerged. However, Izax is not a quick snack!
The boss Izax in veteran mode is particularly difficult and is likely to remind players more of the nightmare difficulty. He is so powerful that the first fight on the PTR ended after exactly 8 seconds – then Izax had wiped out the players.
Even in later attempts, things went rather poorly for the players. While some groups made it to phase 4, they were then mowed down by a horde of additional adds. The trailer for the boss was presented in the developer livestream; here is the relevant excerpt:

In story mode, Izax seems to forgive more mistakes; he has already been defeated several times there.
New “old” companions – but only for the Empire
Players of the Empire can look forward to the return of two special companions – at least if they play the corresponding classes.
Ashara, the student of the Sith Inquisitor, returns as a companion. She has spent the last few years on Voss studying the Force – without her master. She is exclusive to the Sith Inquisitor.
Vector, the mysterious “bug man,” also returns. Vector is exclusive to the Imperial Agent.
Ashara is back – and she has been sorely missed.
In the stream, the developers also revealed that there are still many plans for 2018, such as Kira returning as a companion. But there are also already plans for “2019 and beyond” that they do not want to talk about yet.
Aside from that, the conquest system is being revised. The interface is now clearer and the rewards for various tasks have been adjusted to better match their difficulty.
By the way, there are no major changes to class balance in patch 5.8. The developers want to address that in update 5.9.
Are you looking forward to patch 5.8, Ashara, and Vector? Are you going straight for the new boss? Or are you hoping for the announcement of a new expansion?
With the announcement of The Division 2, discussions around the sequel began. While YouTube experts like MarcoStyle and Skill Up are optimistic and see a continuation as a great opportunity for the franchise, parts of the community fear another Destiny 2.
Although further information on The Division 2 is not expected before E3, the community is actively exchanging opinions on the upcoming successor to The Division:
How do the YouTube experts react?
What is the attitude of Mein MMO readers towards a sequel?
MarcoStyle – “The Division 2 will not just be a remake.”
In direct response to the reveal of the sequel, renowned Division YouTuber MarcoStyle released a video expressing his opinion. He sees the announcement very positively and primarily as an opportunity for Massive to completely redo The Division and make it better.
He understands the fans who want the story to continue from the first installment. However, that one has many fundamental issues like netcode, bugs, glitches, and hackers. Patches would not be enough to resolve these.
The Division 2 offers exactly the opportunity not to repeat such mistakes while integrating a lot of new content.
The developers’ statements contribute to Marco’s optimism. They have learned a lot from their time with The Division and are aware of the possibilities a sequel offers. Therefore, he believes The Division 2 will be more than just a remake.
A Destiny 2 scenario is also possible, one simply has to wait for more information.

Even one of the formerly largest Division YouTubers, Skill Up, sees things similarly and mentions many points in his statement, points that cannot be solved with DLCs for The Division 1 but require a sequel:
One should
revise the netcode
combat the hacker problem
fix animation issues
completely overhaul inventory management
fill the open world with more life
continue the main story
either provide new areas or a completely new setting
rethink the Dark Zone design (Rogue 2.0)
revise the concept of gear sets
A The Division 2 could mean a kind of fresh start for many players, attracting new ones and solidifying the franchise. It would therefore be an opportunity for Massive to finally overcome the problems of the past.
This is what Mein MMO readers say
The announcement of The Division 2 and the contents for Year 3 are received with mixed feelings in the comments on our articles by Mein MMO readers. Many fear a disaster akin to Destiny 2.
Sevenghost approaches it skeptically and hopes that the trend of add-ons as full-price titles does not become the norm.
Klatch 1.0 writes: “I now have nearly 3000 playing hours and I am looking forward to The Division 2! The current The Division has become so boring. It’s about time!”
Jimmey Dean would have been happy to wait another 2-3 years for proper expansions for the first part, to then see a finished, comprehensive, and polished The Division 2 after 5 years of development.
Erzkanzler feels similarly: “Shooter MMOs should take a cue from MMORPGs regarding the product lifecycle. They barely managed to bring The Division to a playable state and now want to emulate Bungie…”
krieglich is less skeptical and finds that the developers have really put effort into making the first part a well-rounded game that is now extremely fun in co-op, and thus looks forward to the new installment.
Compadre does not see the risk that The Division 2 will follow the path of Destiny 2. The Division 1 has actually gotten better since early 2017, while Destiny 1 has gotten worse since early 2016.
SVBgunslinger also contradicts the fears: For all the core problems, a sequel is the best solution. With all the experiences, Massive should now be able to deliver a top-notch game.
DevilRon1989 is optimistic and writes: “Nice news. Hopefully, the second part will also be fed with more content. I would also like to learn more of the story. I also wish for more variety in terms of enemies.”

On March 22, Monster Hunter World will receive its 1st DLC, which will also include the Deviljho. The content patch will also feature a large Spring Festival with rewards, adjustments to almost all weapons, and the ability to redesign your character. The DLC is free as promised.
Hunters can look forward to spring, as Monster Hunter World will be upgraded with a major update. The DLC will contain a plethora of new content and gameplay adjustments. The update will be available for free on PS4 and Xbox One.
Below you will receive a summary of the new content.
Update 2.00 brings the new monster Deviljho on March 22
Next week Thursday, on March 22, the Deviljho will come to Monster Hunter World. On PS4, the update will be numbered 2.00, and on Xbox One, the patch will be 2.0.0.0.
The Deviljho is a brutal flying wyvern that is constantly hungry due to its high body temperature. This carnivore has been observed consuming its own kind.
Craft the “Vangis Armor” from the Deviljho – Also for the Palico
In Monster Hunter World, it’s customary to harvest monsters for their body parts. Hunters craft new weapons and armor from the monster materials. This also applies to the Deviljho.
The armor that can be crafted from the Deviljho at the forge is called Vangis, and it will be available as an Alpha and Beta set. There will also be a Deviljho variant for all 14 weapon classes in Monster Hunter World.

“Spring Blossom Fest” runs from April 6 to April 12: Brings rewards and new food
Spring is heralded in the new world, and the gathering place will be draped in a sea of flowers. The NPCs who work here will also receive a special uniform fitting for spring. Numerous fun activities await the hunters here, primarily revolving around hunting monsters.
As there can be no festival without plenty of food, there will also be a new meal in the canteen. Hopefully, it’s not Poogie, who sits here as a flower idol on the table…
A new Great Sword also comes with the festival
Just in time for the start of the Spring Festival on April 6, there will also be materials available to craft a new weapon. This is the “Wyvern Ignition” Great Sword. What makes this weapon special is that it originated from a fan competition conducted by Capcom.
We do not yet know what stats the weapon will possess, but it will certainly look great!
Almost all weapons will receive adjustments – Here is an overview
Most weapons will receive either a buff or balance adjustments with the update. Here is a quick overview of what’s changing:
Great Sword: Damage will be increased for charged slash abilities
Long Sword: Improvements to the foresight slash that adjusts the timing and hitbox direction
Sword & Shield: “Roundslash” damage will increase and the slinger ability will be improved
Dual Blades: Adjustments that help maintain the Archdemon mode
Hammer: Adjustments to paralysis values and charged attacks
Hunting Horn: Attack power will be generally increased
Spear: Counter-thrust has been adjusted to make it easier to apply
Gunlance: Sharpness loss will be reduced when shooting and attacks will be generally increased
Morphing Axe: “Zero Sum discharge” adjustments to make it more user-friendly
Energy Blade: Balance changes to the vials
Insect Glaive: Improvement of the extract attack power (red) and extract effect lasts longer
“Mega Man” Quest for the Palico runs from April 13 to April 27
During the “Spring Blossom” festival, there will be a special event quest. With this, you will receive a ticket to craft special armor for your Palico at the forge. This will transform your cat companion into the cult robot Mega-Man in pixel style.

The appearance can be customized starting March 16: Changing gender is possible
As many players have requested the ability to change their character’s appearance, they will now be given this opportunity.
On March 16, every player will receive a free ticket that can adjust the hunter’s appearance. The ticket will then be available in the PlayStation Store and Xbox Game Store. The free ticket can only be used once! After that, tickets for appearance changes must be purchased with real money.
Cosmetic appearance (hair, face paint, etc.) – This is, by the way, now also possible anytime for free and without a ticket
What the ticket CANNOT change:
Hunter’s name
Palico names

Trolling during looting will come to an end! “Friendly-Fire” disabled
In Monster Hunter World, there was a significant loot problem. Players trolled other hunters while harvesting monsters and denied them the loot. Through the “Friendly-Fire” mechanic, other hunters could be hit by players and thus interrupted during the looting action.
Capcom promised to consider solutions and has now found one: “Friendly-Fire” will be disabled when players loot the monster.
Players are immune after completing the quest against:
All kinds of weapon attacks
Bombs
This brief overview summarized the major Spring Festival Update. There will also be an event quest in which you can unlock the armor of Dante from Devil May Cry.

The professional players of Overwatch are widely complaining about Sombra. This may lead to another nerf.
Balance is a sensitive topic in Overwatch that repeatedly sparks wild discussions. Currently, Sombra has come under scrutiny from players and regularly triggers heated debates in the official forums and on Reddit.
The complaints seem to bear fruit, as according to a streamer, Sombra will be nerfed again in the near future.
The player Zachary “ZachaREEE” Lombardo, who is currently playing for the Overwatch Contenders team Fusion University, revealed during a stream that Blizzard is aware of the Sombra issue. “Almost all players in the Contenders complained to Blizzard about Sombra” and received positive feedback that Sombra will be adjusted soon.

The reason for the numerous complaints is the improvement of Sombra’s hacking. With the last major update, it was slightly reworked and can now hack a target within 0.65 seconds – interrupting it is barely possible.
But the effects of the hacking itself have also become more powerful, as Sombra now deactivates all abilities triggered by a button press. This includes things like Pharah’s rocket boost, as well as Hanzo’s and Genji’s wall climb.
In FIFA 18 the TOTW 26 (Team of the Week 26) is known. These players receive Inform cards in Ultimate Team.
In addition to the currently available in packs “Path to Glory” Spring special cards, the new Team of the Week (TDW 26) will be released on Wednesday, March 14, at 7 PM in FUT 18. The 23 upgraded players will be available in packs for one week from release.
This week's highlights include Paolo Dybala (92), Marco Veratti (89), and Franck Ribery, Michi Batshuayi, and Petr Cech (all 87).
TOTW 26 – Player Card Ratings in Ultimate Team
Recommendations for small budget
Alongside the highlights, there are also players each week who are strong but may go unnoticed by many players due to their rating or obscurity. This means they could be real bargains on the transfer market.
Milan Škriniar (83), CB, Inter Milan: 69 pace, 86 defending, 81 physical and 1.88 meters make this center-back a real force. Additionally, he is Slovak and thus has a green link to the popular “Serie A” midfielder Marek Hamsik.
Alassane Pléa (82), ST, OGC Nice: A solid striker with good pace, shot, and strength values. What makes him interesting is his club and his nation. He forms a “Perfect Link” with Wylan Cyprien, who received a strong Inform card last week.
Rodrigo (83), ST, Valencia CF: 94 pace, dribbling and shooting in the mid 80s and 4-star skills are what the Spaniard brings. A strong, fast striker for an affordable La Liga or Spain team.
These were the Predictions for Team of the Week 26 in FUT 18
TOTW predictions are forecasts of which players deserve a place in the upcoming Team of the Week. While these predictions never align 100% with the official TOTW, it is therefore risky to act on the transfer market based on these, nonetheless, they give a good overview of which players could receive the coveted special cards.
We provide an overview of predictions from various FIFA sites.
What is the Team of the Week (TDW) in FIFA 18 Ultimate Team?
Every Wednesday, EA Sports reveals the Team of the Week in their annual football simulation “Ultimate Team” mode. This is also the case in FIFA 18. Players who performed outstandingly in real football over the past week are rewarded with special cards that have improved attributes.
You can pull the TOTW cards within one week from the packs that may contain Rare (Gold) players. However, the chance for this is to be considered low.
Additionally, you can buy them on the transfer market when offered by other players. However, the prices for these are usually extremely high. If you want to purchase one of the new Informs for your team, it is advisable to buy it at the beginning of the next week, as they will be cheaper then.

Testers can now participate in the Closed Alpha of Ubisoft’s “The Crew 2“. The testing phase is active for several days, but confidentiality is required.
In an email, the team from The Crew 2 invited selected testers of the upcoming racing game yesterday, on March 13th. In Ubisoft’s new title, you can race on land, water, and in the air. The current testing phase is active until early next week.
The Crew 2 – PC Closed Alpha in March
The email explains that this testing phase is subject to a confidentiality agreement. Screenshots and videos from this alpha may not be shared with the public. We will have to wait for new insights into the game until there is a testing phase without an NDA.
The alpha is intended to test the infrastructure and gather further feedback about the game. In the past, tests with fewer players have already taken place.
According to initial reports, the current testing phase is only for Uplay, that is, PC players. The alpha phase is active from March 14 to March 19.
It sounds like testers will have access to the entire map and various races with boats, planes, and cars during the test.
Originally, The Crew 2 was supposed to be released on March 16, 2018, but that release was postponed without a specific replacement date. Theoretically, this allows for a release starting in April 2018. The racing game will be released for PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
Due to this closed alpha, players in the community suspect that an open beta is now not far away. However, there has been no official statement on this yet.

More players have been allowed into the Alpha of Battle for Azeroth: Invitations have been sent out. Are you already exploring the latest WoW expansion?
The Alpha of the next expansion of World of Warcraft seems to be starting to ramp up. So far, mainly some streamers, journalists, and friends and acquaintances of Blizzard have been invited. However, since yesterday, some players have reported in the official forums that they have also gained access to the Alpha. It seems that Blizzard is gradually inviting more players.
It’s best to check your Battle.net launcher and see under the “World of Warcraft” menu item in “Region / Account” if you can select the Alpha for Battle for Azeroth. If so, then the download should start with a size of nearly 44 GB.
Some players also report that they have received emails from Blizzard confirming their invitation. You should be especially skeptical here, as there are many phishing attempts! For access to the Alpha/Beta, it is not necessary to respond to an email. No “Key” or anything similar needs to be activated. As soon as you can participate in the Alpha, it will be directly displayed in the Battle.net app.
Tomorrow evening (15.03.2018), there will be a larger Q&A with Game Director Ion Hazzikostas that thematically focuses on Battle for Azeroth. Many fans suspect that Hazzikostas will announce further waves of invitations or even announce the transition to closed Beta.
As soon as there is more detailed information on the topic, we will report on it.
The Warzone mode of Halo 5 was well received by many players, but the developers had much bigger plans, which they are now implementing in a separate game called Scavengers. They will use the amazing technology SpatialOS for this. The first concept art looks a bit like it’s Destiny 3.
Scavengers places you in the near future. An asteroid has destroyed our moon, plunging the Earth into a new Ice Age. Resources have become scarce. To make matters worse, a disease is decimating wildlife. Humanity must fight for survival.
You belong to one of two factions fighting for the last resources. Survival, teamwork, and shooter action are the focus.
Scavengers is intended to be a multiplayer survival shooter with coop elements.
More than just the next online shooter
Scavengers aims to offer you more than just another online shooter experience:
Join one of two factions
Fight for control of a large map
Make decisions as a team
Fight not only other players but also AI-controlled enemies
The game is divided into sessions, with each round having a certain playtime (which has not yet been determined)
Each session is supposed to differ from the others
Decisions are important
In Scavengers, it’s not just about eliminating other players, but also about making tactical decisions. If, for example, your clan is on the way to fulfill your goal and you encounter a small group of other players, you must decide as a team how to proceed.
Will you attack the other players, putting your goal at risk?
Maybe the group has something that could be useful to you
Will you ignore the players and risk them backstabbing you?
A bit hardcore
Scavengers is somewhat oriented toward “realism” based on the upcoming hardcore shooter Escape from Tarkov, but does not want to go that far. Nevertheless, each session is supposed to present a great challenge where every decision is important.
Furthermore, the developers use the technology SpatialOS to create a large and realistic game world. The development of Scavengers is still in very early stages, which means that it is currently unclear when the online game will be released or when test phases are planned.
The concept art and initial images remind many observers of Destiny.
Currently, no release date for Scavengers is known. It is also not yet clear which platforms it will be coming to.

On the evening of March 13, EA released a new FIFA 18 update. Here are all the patch notes for version 1.10 for PC, Xbox One, and PS4 in German.
Last night, a new FIFA update was released for PC. As always, the patch for consoles will follow in a few days. There are no changes to the gameplay, just a few minor improvements and bug fixes.
The main changes of the March update
The new title update fixes a bug that has existed since the launch of FIFA 18. If you wanted to give your players individual jersey numbers in FUT team management, these were reset as soon as changes were made to the team.
Additionally, most matches that ended with a connection loss will now be displayed in the FUT Champions channel. This hopefully makes the games of the top 100 gamers more transparent and reveals cheaters faster.
There is also a change to the Pro Clubs friendly match. If it is still tied after 90 minutes, it will now continue with extra time (Silver Goal) and, if necessary, a penalty shootout.
All patch notes of the latest title update
In addition to the changes mentioned above and some Ultimate Team fixes, there isn’t much new in the FIFA 18 title update. Only a few minor Pro Club bug fixes and an update for two kits (Catfish and Bottlemen) are included.
The legendary Pokémon Rayquaza will soon disappear, leaving a spot in the legendary boss selection of Pokémon GO. It is unclear which monsters will follow next.
After Lugia is available on April 2, Latios and Latias will take its place. In this overview, we show you the legendary duo and how to effectively battle against them. We also provide an overview of Regirock, Registeel, and Regice, which may be released in Pokémon GO at a later time.
[toc]
Latios and Latias Overview – How strong are the monsters?
The team of Latios and Latias is also known as the “Eon Duo”. The two monsters differ in their stats, with Latios having stronger offensive stats and Latias having better defensive stats.
In the following table from PokémonGOHub, you can clearly see the differences between the two dragon/psychic Pokémon:
The stamina values of Latios and Latias are the same, but attack and defense are swapped between the two. Because the attack value has a stronger influence on the CP, Latios has higher combat points because of it.
Latios and Latias Movesets – What attacks do they know?
Based on the general stats, trainers are interested in what attacks the dragons have. The following attacks are currently planned in the Game Master file for the two monsters, but this might change before any possible release.
As fast attacks, both know Fire Blast and Zen Headbutt.
Latios
Fast Attacks: Fire Blast (Dragon) and Zen Headbutt (Psychic)
Charge Attacks: Dragon Claw (Dragon), Psychic (Psychic), and Solar Beam (Grass)
Latias
Fast Attack: Fire Blast (Dragon) and Zen Headbutt (Psychic)
Charge Attacks: Outrage (Dragon), Psychic (Psychic), and Thunder (Electric)
With Fire Blast and Dragon Claw, the Eon Duo can have one of the best movesets of dragon Pokémon. In the past, Dragonite could learn these attacks before they attained “Legacy” status. Now, Pokémon can no longer learn these attacks. Therefore, it will be exciting to see if Niantic retains these attacks for Latios and Latias in the game or removes or replaces them before release.
Strong Counters Against Latios and Latias?
In recent weeks, trainers have been able to prove their skills against the dragon Pokémon Rayquaza. While Latios and Latias are also dragons, they have “Psychic” as a second type. This makes ice attackers less effective against them than against Rayquaza.
Instead of the double weakness against ice, the psychic type creates new weaknesses against bug, ghost, and dark.
According to current moveset data, the strongest attackers include Rayquaza, Dragonite, and Tyranitar. Close behind are Salamence or Mewtwo with Shadow Ball. As a glass cannon, Gengar with Dark Claw is excellent.
Against the Dragon Claw moveset, Gardevoir and Granbull are strong attackers, especially when cloudy weather occurs.
Other noteworthy attackers against Latios and Latias include:
Groudon
Scyther
Pinsir
Houndoom
Gyarados (with Crunch and Outrage)
Articuno
and Rosanna
Regirock, Regice, and Registeel Overview – How strong are the monsters?
Source: pokemoninsidersecrets
Later, Niantic could release this legendary trio. Whether they will appear in a regional rotation similar to the beasts and change after a month remains to be seen.
The general stats of the three Regis are visible in the following table from PokémonGOHub:
It is clear that this trio should rather be used for defensive purposes as their attack isn’t particularly high. Since legendary Pokémon are prohibited as gym defenders, finding a sensible use for these three monsters will be difficult.
Regirock, Registeel, and Regice Movesets – What attacks do they know?
The attacks of this trio have not yet been finalized. Currently, it is assumed that the attacks found in the Game Master file will be used. Similar to Latios and Latias, the Regi trio has a fast attack and a charge attack that each of them could know. There are also attacks that differ among the three monsters.
Regirock
Fast Attacks: Rock Throw (Rock), Brick Break (Fighting)
Charge Attacks: Rock Slide (Rock), Thunderbolt (Electric), Focus Blast (Fighting)
Registeel
Fast Attacks: Metal Claw (Steel), Brick Break (Fighting)
Regirock, Registeel, and Regice Counters – Bring the Fighting Pokémon
Although the three Regis differ in their types, they still have similar counters. Registeel and Regice attract fire counters magically because they are strong against the types. Registeel and Regirock have problems with ground attackers.
Source: PokéWiki
All three have a major issue with the fighting machines Machamp and Hariyama. If you have this fighting duo in your team, nothing can really go wrong. Nevertheless, we show you more important counters.
Against Registeel and Regice, you have two potent attackers with Moltres and Entei. Ho-Oh would also be a good choice.
Against Registeel, you can additionally engage with the strongest ground Pokémon in the game: Groudon.
The vulnerability to fire also allows attackers like Flareon or Charizard.
Against Regirock you have two super attackers with Groudon and Kyogre. Kyogre offers the higher DPS and Groudon has better resistances against Thunderbolt and Rock Slide.
Here too, Machamp and Hariyama are top attackers.
With this guide, you should be well prepared for the possible new legendary bosses. Thanks to PokémonGOHub and Gamepress.gg for the important input for this guide.
On the occasion of the 5th anniversary of Warframe our author Leya conducted an interview with Rebecca Ford, Live Ops and Community Director at Digital Extremes (DE). We discussed the past and the future of Warframe. In this future, open-world maps like the Plains of Eidolon will play an important role.
Warframe is a free multiplayer online shooter from Digital Extremes that is often compared to Destiny. You play as a Tenno in a futuristic setting, equipped with various biomechanical suits. These suits are referred to as Warframes and have different abilities.
In March 2013, Warframe came to light, launching as a pure lobby shooter with exactly one level. Since then, Warframe has undergone a significant transformation and offers players a complete star system.
Rebecca Ford is the Community Director at Digital Extremes and answered some questions for us at Mein-MMO about “5 years of Warframe”.
Warframe has evolved into a different game in 5 years
Mein-MMO: We are currently looking back at five years of Warframe. During the beta, you had some problems keeping the game alive. You had a smaller player base and received mixed reviews. Today you have more than 35 million registered players and are known for being close to the community. Could you give us a brief summary of how Warframe has changed over the last 5 years?
Rebecca: Hmm…a brief summary of Warframe over the last five years? That might be the most difficult question I’ve been asked to date.
Briefly: “Take many risks and recognize when to celebrate success and when to admit mistakes.”
A little more specifically, I would say that Warframe has grown in content and character, as we have attracted a huge group of enthusiastic and engaged fans who love the game. We give them plenty of reasons to hang out, play, and come back.
Secondly, we provide players with the opportunity to play together. Thirdly, we regularly invite them to challenge us, talk to us, and meet us.
If Warframe disappeared from your radar two years ago or if you played it when it first came out on PlayStation 4 and then stopped, there are now so many improvements and changes that Warframe is almost a different game.
“It is important to seize opportunities”
Mein-MMO:When you brought the “Plains of Eidolon” to Warframe, you opened up the corridors of your lobby shooter and introduced the first open-world map. In what way did a risky update like this impact you as developers?
Rebecca: Presenting the Plains of Eidolon at TennoCon 2017 was one of the scariest and most exciting reveals we’ve ever had. We had already taken other risks, but that was something different!
We put an enormous amount of work into this creation, and we had no idea whether players would love it or hate it. But seizing opportunities is really important for a “Games-as-a-Service” title like ours. We are constantly moving, always creating new content, and feel that we should always challenge ourselves in our own perception of what Warframe is and could be.
The Plains have given us new energy, creativity, and a new purpose. Since then, the Plains have already received several updates, including “Shrines of the Eidolons” and we have more innovations planned. After the Plains, we also want to travel to Venus to introduce another open-world expansion there.
The future focus of Warframe is the open-world areas
Mein-MMO:The Plains of Eidolon brought a lot of new players to Warframe, and the update was overall well received. Since then, you have moved important mechanics like the Arcanes as a raid substitute to the Plains. Some players feel that you are forcing the Plains on them with such actions. Is the future of Warframe in open-world maps, and what would you say to players who are concerned about this?
Rebecca: Definitely, the future of Warframe will have even more open-world expansions. We received a lot of positive feedback indicating that players love the overall idea.
Earlier this year, we conducted a survey in which we found that a large portion of players likes the Plains of Eidolon and is looking forward to more open zones in Warframe.
However, this does not mean that we are now solely focusing on open-world content. That is part of our direction. As you may have noticed, Lotus is undergoing some changes, and her future is a small part of a larger story that we want to release this year.
New Umbra form of the Warframes comes along with the story expansion
Mein-MMO:Although Warframe is at its core a loot grinder, you have integrated a moving and immersive story within Warframe over the past five years. Could you give me a teaser about the upcoming lore of Warframe?
Rebecca: Well, I’ve already revealed as much as I can in my last answer without it turning into spoilers. But let’s just say that there will be a lot more new story this year, along with a long-overdue visit from Umbra.
For explanation: Umbra Warframes will be a special version of the suits. The Warframe Excalibur is set to receive the first Umbra version. The introduction of Excalibur Umbra has been planned by Digital Extremes as something special and will likely come with a unique acquisition method.
On the new open-Venus map, everything will be different
Mein-MMO: You have already published the first images of the open-world map on Venus. It was clear that you are taking a different direction than with the Plains on Earth. Can we expect a new kind of content and gameplay here? Will there be new bosses that require a different approach than the Eidolons in the Plains?
Rebecca: Venus is the second of our open-world expansions, and with it, you will see a new world. This means there will be a different set of enemies, different weather conditions, and different bosses. Such as spider bosses!
About the story of the Venus map, I can reveal so much: The Orokin undertook terraforming on Venus to make the planet habitable for them. The Corpus faction populated Venus as the Orokin fell and continued their work. Venus has a coolant that ensures a low temperature on the planet.
On Venus, there is a remaining civilization that lives underground. They are called “Solaris United” and are unfortunate laborers of the Corpus. They are responsible for processing and refining coolant so that it can be used on the surface of Venus. The cold on Venus then leads to ice storms.
Digital Extremes takes Warframe in a different direction than Bungie with Destiny
Mein-MMO: Have you ever thought about starting over completely and developing a Warframe 2 with your current experience? Bungie has taken this path and developed a sequel to Destiny. Can you relate to the problems that Bungie is now facing after deciding to redesign their game?
Rebecca: When we released the Plains of Eidolon, some players asked us if they could just call it Warframe 2. We like the idea of a Warframe 2, but Warframe is a game that is constantly evolving.
We want to continue supporting Warframe with updates, develop it further, and listen to our players. That has served us well so far! We are not planning a sequel.
So there will be no Warframe 2, and the world of the online shooter will continue to evolve in its current form. However, it is expected that there will be a strong focus on open zones in Warframe in the coming years, which fans have already referred to as Warframe 2.
What would you think of a Warframe 2? Would it be good for the game to wipe everything and start fresh?

A Way Out, the new co-op experiment from the creator of Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons, will be released on March 23 for PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Game Director Josef Fares has now revealed new details about the action game, including the playtime.
Our colleagues from GameSpot recently spoke with the game’s Game Director, Josef Fares, who shared some details about the playtime and the development process.
The playtime of A Way Out is said to be around 6 to 8 hours
The developer Hazelight started the project with only ten employees, which later increased to about 40 during development
Fares wrote the story himself but also worked with a “script doctor”
According to Fares, EA was very supportive and did not interfere: “If EA wants to make an apple greener, I can say no”
100 percent of the revenue from A Way Out goes to the developer Hazelight. According to Fares, EA helps with marketing and support but apparently receives nothing from the profits
Fares is incredibly excited about A Way Out, especially its co-op multiplayer. He stated that he would spend 10 million US dollars on a purely single-player game
Fares would never make a game with microtransactions
There are currently no plans for a Nintendo Switch edition
Absolute Co-op Required
A Way Out tells the story of two convicts who are on the run after escaping from prison in the 70s.
The action game can only be played together with another player locally in split-screen or online. The owner of the game can easily invite friends to their game session, even if they do not own the title.
