Fallout 76 might offer crossplay. Bethesda would be open to the feature, in fact, they desired it. But they decided against it, which according to Todd Howard is due to Sony. However, players are no longer surprised by this. They are more bothered by something else.
Fallout 76 without crossplay. The online game will be released on November 14 for PC, Playstation 4, and Xbox One. While more and more games nowadays offer crossplay between different systems and more players are demanding such a feature, Fallout 76 will not support crossplay. And this is despite Bethesda’s wish for the feature.
Sony is not as helpful as everyone would like. According to Bethesda’s Todd Howard, the reason Fallout 76 will not support crossplay is likely due to Sony, which he claims is not as helpful in this regard as everyone would like. This is also being felt by fans of the online shooter Fortnite at the moment. Here too, Sony is refusing crossplay with other systems. Howard also explained that the trend is moving more towards cross-platform gaming. Therefore, he is even more disappointed that it is not working out for Fallout 76.
What about crossplay between PC and Xbox One? Curiously, there will be no crossplay at all, not even between PC and Xbox One. This would actually be easier to implement. There is no explanation for this. Todd Howard only explains that there is a kind of “blockade” from Sony. Therefore, we will not even see crossplay between PC and Xbox One.
Players already assume this with Sony, but why not with the other platforms?
Many players are disappointed, wondering more about Xbox One and PC: The refusal of crossplay for Fallout 76 disappoints many fans. They especially do not understand why Bethesda does not at least allow interaction between PC and Xbox One players.
Players are no longer surprised by Sony: That Sony is blocking crossplay has become accustomed to. While it is continually disappointing, it is still incomprehensible why the other systems cannot at least play together. There is a lot of discussion about this on Reddit.
But there are also other voices: Some players are glad that there is no crossplay. Because players fear that the PC version will quickly be flooded with mods and cheats that Xbox One players would suffer from. Additionally, PC players often have advantages over console players due to the more precise control with mouse and keyboard. In a game with open PvP, this can lead to unfair situations.
So we will sadly have to do without crossplay for Fallout 76. But at least for the upcoming mobile game The Elder Scrolls: Blades, Bethesda wants to allow players from as many systems as possible to play together – let’s see if Sony will block this again.
Everyone has been waiting for this. The Pokémon GO team confirms the best Squirtle of all time for the Community Day in July.
Squirtle with Sunglasses: Many Pokémon fans remember the Squirtle with sunglasses from the anime series. Ash met a Squirtle that was once part of a gang called the “Squirtle Squad”. These special specimens were characterized by a pair of sunglasses. And this accessory has remained memorable for many fans.
Fans are excited: The community had long speculated and wished: When a Community Day with Squirtle comes, it should be with sunglasses.
Now Niantic fulfills this wish and shows once again how close they are to the players.
Best Community Day of All Time?
Officially confirmed: On Twitter, the Pokémon GO team announced that Squirtle can be found with sunglasses during the Community Day on July 8.

Everyone should try it: This special sunglasses specimen of the Water Pokémon should not be missing in any collection. Participating in the Community Day in July is a must for every collector and fan.
Which attack does Squirtle learn?
Hydro Pump – Leak was correct: In the analysis of the data miners for update 0.107.1, there were already hints at a possible Community Day attack “Hydro Pump”. The Pokémon GO team has now confirmed the attack.
Attack for Blastoise: If you evolve a Wartortle into a Blastoise during the Community Day in July or catch a Blastoise, it can learn the move Hydro Pump.
How strong is Hydro Pump? Whether the new attack can hold up in the meta will be seen only when it is in the game. Niantic may adjust the values shortly before the release.

Camelot Unchained is facing some issues again. Although this time it should only be minor bugs, it still has consequences for the beta.
Camelot Unchained Beta delayed: Camelot Unchained was originally scheduled to start its first beta on July 4, where supporters could help develop the game. However, lead designer Mark Jacobs has now announced in a stream that the release of the beta will be postponed again.
The beta is only postponed by a few days or weeks
According to Jacobs, the delay will only be “short.” It will not be years or months before the game goes into the testing phase. The beta 1 should finally go live a few days or weeks later. More accurate information should be released on Thursday.
Too many bugs, supporters need to help: The reason for the delay is that the game still has too many bugs and is therefore not stable enough. Over 40 bugs are on the list that still need to be fixed.
In addition, the game’s client is still too unstable. Jacobs said that the “rate at which the client crashes is TOO DAMN HIGH!” Supporters who have already helped with testing are invited to assist the team in fixing the bugs.
“The version will be better than many other games”: Jacobs promises that Camelot Unchained will run more stable and error-free than many other games at their launch – regardless of whether they can start the beta on July 4 or not. The developers want to present a clean beta rather than “one that stinks.”
The beta is already delayed: Camelot Unchained has already faced some difficulties. Even with the current date, the beta is already three years behind the schedule. For a short time, the team had trouble finding programmers. Only a financial boost finally helped establish a start date for the beta.

Are you struggling against John Wicks and other pros in Fortnite, but really want to complete the Battle Pass this season? No problem! We’ll show you all the challenges of the currently running Season 4 that you can complete without any weapon violence!
What many players haven’t noticed: Every week you have access to four challenges that you can complete without even coming near a weapon. So, if you’re struggling to win games or even get a kill, you can still make progress in the Battle Pass.
We provide you with an overview of all the challenges you can solve without weapon violence. This way, you can easily manage 25 levels in the Battle Pass.
Note: You will not be able to reach Level 100 in the Battle Pass with the challenges presented here. Even if you’ve regularly completed daily challenges throughout Season 4 and leveled up – Level 100 is not achievable. However, you can still unlock many great things in the Battle Pass. Until Battle Pass Level 35, you will receive among other things:
Daily challenges without weapons: In the many daily challenges, you can bypass violence. Often, you just need to survive against opponents in various modes. If a challenge doesn’t suit you, you can reset it once daily.
For a pacifist approach to completing challenges, keep an eye out for the following daily tasks:
Survive against opponents in solo or team modes
Achieve top placements in solo or team modes
Open ammunition crates
Open treasure chests
The weekly challenges in the “peaceful variant”
Opponents can be avoided not only in the daily challenges: You can complete a total of 40 weekly challenges without even squeezing the infamous trigger finger.
Open chests in different cities: First task – land in a big city and start opening treasure chests. Once you’re done, move on to the next city and continue collecting. What sounds easy is actually not so in practice. In each of the following cities, you need to open seven chests:
Haunted Hills– Unfortunately, Haunted Hills don’t offer enough hiding spots for chests. You will likely have to visit the place more than once. To make your search easier, you can find all potential chest locations in Haunted Hills on the following map:
Greasy Grove – This picturesque little town in the southwest of the map is famous for its charm and seclusion. That was just a joke – things get serious here. If you want to escape without violence, quickly open a few chests and get out of there. Increase your escape chances: Here’s the map with the locations.
Lonely Lodge – It’s best to land on the big lookout tower to have a chance at three treasure chests. After that, approach the area carefully. It’s not uncommon to find enemies lurking around here who want to attack you. Keep track with the map:
Wailing Woods – After you’ve finished in Lonely Lodge, you can head north to Wailing Woods. Tip: Approach the location in team mode. It’s rare for enemy groups to wander here since the location has too little loot.
Dusty Divot – Land in the crater and try to grab as many chests as possible. The location has lost much of its initial appeal – which is better for you!
Loot Lake – You may need several attempts here too. Land in the middle of the lake on the house, where you can already find some chests. It can also be worthwhile to start in team mode for Loot Lake.
Risky Reels – This place was heavily frequented at the beginning of Season 4 and is still quite popular. Your advantage: You’re mainly after the chests. Just restart until you have the seven chests. Don’t forget to wave when you get shot (or defend yourself with the pickaxe – whatever you prefer, the outcome is the same).
Salty Springs – The place in the middle of the map is still a hot spot – you need to be quick here. Our map will help you:
Moisty Mire – The swamps offer good hiding places and loot opportunities. Here you should have collected the seven chests quickly.
Play smart: Complete as many challenges as possible at once! By focusing on opening chests, you knock out several birds with one stone. You can also complete various other challenges in one go:
Use a Port-a-Fort – this should be in a chest sooner or later
Use Launch Pads – they are lying around near impact craters
Revive players – If you’ve played the team mode from time to time, you should have the required five revives eventually. Your teammates will surely thank you.
Not only llamas are hiding in the woods!
Open 7 ammo crates in one round – You don’t need ammo, but you should still open the small crates. You’ll often find them right next to the big treasure chests.
Use vending machines – just keep mining resources and pay the greedy snack machines to complete this task. The rarity of the sold items doesn’t matter.
Open supply drops – be on the lookout for the coveted supply drops in remote areas. Sooner or later, you’ll stumble upon one.
Use Launch Pads, Apples, and Mushrooms – The goodies increase your health or shield. Is your health full? Jump down somewhere. You’ll find many mushrooms in Wailing Woods. You’ll have to go there anyway for the treasure chests.
Not only llamas hide in the woods!
7 treasure chests in one round – this should be self-explanatory.
Use a shopping cart – Grab one of the shopping carts and take a ride. Done.
Visit the center of various locations – Since you need to visit the locations to open chests anyway, you can also complete this task “on the side.”
Special tasks and treasure hunts
Components of the weekly tasks are various special activities and scavenger hunts across the entire map of Fortnite: Battle Royale. Whether it’s the Fortnite logo or rubber ducks scattered across the map – you’ll have plenty to do.
You need to complete the following challenges (clicking the link will open the corresponding guide):
Corasonn and Roselia can now appear throughout Europe. You should take advantage of the Europe event in Pokémon GO and the XP rewards.
The Europe event: During the Safari Zone last weekend, there were issues. Server overload and mobile network outages created a negative atmosphere for many visitors in Westfalenpark. Niantic apologizes for the problems with an event.
How long does the event last? The event started on Tuesday morning, July 3rd at 02:00 AM CEST. It lasts for two days and ends on Thursday morning, July 5th at 1:59 AM CEST.
Niantic thanks trainers for their patience
In a blog post, Niantic thanks the trainers who were patient during the issues in the Safari Zone. To give everyone another chance to catch a Corasonn, it will now appear for 2 days in Europe. There will also be more spawns of Roselia.
Source: Niantic
Divided opinion in the community: Many trainers welcome this event and are pleased that the regional Pokémon Corasonn is now available even in their villages. This allows trainers who did not travel to access this Pokémon.
Many trainers have noticed negatively that the collector and trading value of Corasonn is currently dropping significantly. Despite the issues, many players were able to catch a Corasonn in the Safari Zone. They wanted to trade it for other rare Pokémon or bring it as a special gift for their friends. They are unhappy that everyone can now easily catch one of these specimens.
What do you think of the event?
XP rewards active – Articuno Day time
Safari goals achieved: Because trainers around the world helped during the Safari Zone with the global challenges, there are now strong XP rewards for everyone.
3x XP for catching Pokémon
3x XP for hatching eggs
2x XP for raid battles
Lucky eggs now last for one hour
How long are the bonuses available? They will last until July 9th at 10:00 PM CEST.
When is Articuno Day?
Since all tasks have been completed, trainers will be rewarded with Articuno Day. On this day, the legendary Ice- and Flying-type Pokémon Articuno will be available exclusively in raid battles for three hours. If luck is on your side, you might even catch a Shiny Articuno.
When does it start? Articuno Day is on July 7th – In Europe, the event runs from 11 AM to 2 PM. Many already know this timeframe from Community Days in Pokémon GO.
Extra raid passes: Anyone who spins the photo disc of a gym during the event time of Articuno Day will receive up to 5 raid passes.
The last boss from World of Warcraft: Legion had to face a heavy defeat. It took only three heroes for Argus to bite the dust.
Time and again, the community of World of Warcraft manages to defeat raid bosses and other challenges in very special ways. Often, they need fewer players than actually intended for the fight. This was also the case with Argus, the Unmaker. With only 3 players, the Titan fell into the dust, although a little trickery was involved.
What happened? Argus, the Unmaker is the last boss in Antorus, the Burning Throne, and at the same time the last boss of the expansion Legion. The corrupted Titan is actually designed for at least ten players and has several mechanics (such as the enrage timer) that prevent overcoming the challenge with too few players. However, the three players Durendil, Rextroy, and Yenko performed the miracle and defeated Argus without any further help.

How was the kill possible? To defeat Argus, the Unmaker with only three players, the trio had to employ a few tricks. Part of the strategy was to start the fight twice without actually intending to finish it. Hunters and Paladins used the opportunity to stack “Strength of the Sea” multiple times. This gave the Hunter over 100% speed and just as much versatility. In the third pull, the players then used all 20 stacks to kill Argus quickly. This was the only way they could bypass the 12-minute enrage timer, which would otherwise have required additional players or would have killed the three heroes early.
One can certainly argue whether the kill and the prior stacking of buffs constitutes exploiting a bug or an exploit. In any case, the result is impressive.
Finally, it’s here: As Epic announces via Twitter, the limited-time mode Playground has been live in Fortnite: Battle Royale since Tuesday morning, 03.07. However, there is a catch for console players!
If there is a limited time mode (LTM) in Fortnite: Battle Royale that players have long wished for, it is the Playground. Practically unlimited resources, matches lasting an hour, and a storm that only becomes truly dangerous at the end – the Playground is the adventure playground of Fortnite.
Fortnite servers crash shortly after launch: For this reason, few were surprised when the servers couldn’t handle the influx of players shortly after the mode’s release. According to Epic, they have been working hard since then and significantly improved the server infrastructure.
Now, the Playground mode is finally live. Start a match with up to three friends and hone your building skills or finally settle who is the best among you. Thanks to the respawn feature, you’ll be back in the heat of battle quickly.
If console players are wondering why aiming on consoles is so difficult, there is a reason – aim assist is missing.
The lack of aim assist on consoles was noted already at the launch of the Playground. Epic has apparently primarily been struggling with backend functionalities the past few days and therefore had no opportunity to restore aim assist on consoles.
New info about aim assist on Monday afternoon: Today, on Monday afternoon, Epic intends to provide information on when and how the problem with the missing aim assist will be resolved.
How long will the Playground mode be live? Under normal circumstances, the mode would already be gone. However, due to the immense delay, it will remain online for at least a few more days. It is also not unlikely that Epic will keep the Playground running until the end of Season 4.
Temtem’s Kickstarter campaign was a success. The MMO, which resembles Pokémon, is coming for PC, PS4, Xbox One, and the Switch.
What is Temtem? Temtem is an online game from the Spanish developer studio Crema. In the game, you catch monsters in the wild and let them battle against other monsters. The principle is reminiscent of Pokémon, the inspiration is clear.
Singleplayer and Online: You can expect a singleplayer experience in Temtem with battles in the wild, story, and quests. Multiplayer features such as 1v1 battles and meeting other players are also included. For this, you are constantly online. The Kickstarter video shows the main features.

Great support: The Kickstarter campaign was extremely successful. The original goal of $70,000 was surpassed. In total, by July 2, over $570,000 was raised.
Many platforms are supported: Temtem will be released on Steam (Windows), Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. However, the alpha and early access will only take place on Steam.
Crossplay? The developers are working on a cross-play and cross-save feature. However, they explain: “… keep in mind that some platforms do not allow this (PS4).”
100% Online: You need either Xbox Live or PSN Plus to play on the console.
There is even some first gameplay on the Switch, which you can see in the following video. The developers explain that this is a very early development stage.

The Division 2 will offer some fundamental improvements compared to its predecessor. One of them is supposed to be the sound, which Massive places particular importance on. You can find everything about the sound effects here with us.
Even though many players might not think of it immediately, sound is one of the most important aspects of good games. Whether it’s music or just the sound of footsteps in the snow, good sound effects are incredibly important for the atmosphere of a game.
The Division 1 already had distinctive weapon sounds, the snow crunches with every step, and in the Dark Zone, you can regularly hear fights breaking out in the distance that you are not involved in. As Massive’s Simon Koudriavstev (Audio Director) emphasizes, this remains a high priority for The Division 2.
Massive and Pinewood – Different Expertise
Pinewood Studios involved in the work: The recordings are taking place in cooperation with Pinewood Studios, a film studio that has extensive experience with realistic sounds. Pinewood Studios is located near London.
While Pinewood has much more experience with sound effects for the film industry, Massive can build on the experience from 2 years of The Division. Filling a large open world with appropriate sound could therefore work if the respective competencies are optimally combined.
This should also reflect in the dialogues, which are supposed to be significantly improved compared to the predecessor.
Improvement of Quality in All Areas
Better sound for part 2: Already rated well in The Division 1, Massive wants to take the sound up a notch. For this, all aspects of the sound effects have been revised and improved. These include
Weapon sound
Music
Voices
Ambient sounds
Together with the new setting, they want to provide players with even better sound feedback for their actions.
“They got Alex” probably belongs to the past
“They got Alex!” This exclamation repeatedly appears in battles with the looters and has a sort of cult status in the Division community. In the audio logs for the shields, Massive even pokes fun at itself.
We don’t know yet how it will look in the German version of The Division 2. However, similar occurrences are not supposed to be repeated in the English version. Maybe an Easter egg awaits us.
Division of labor among the studios: The dialogues are intended to be significantly more realistic and varied. For this, Massive and Pinewood have allocated the work according to their competencies. While Pinewood recorded the combat sounds, Massive had actors sprinting a few rounds before they were to shout commands. Sometimes with weapons in hand to enhance the performance.
Sounds should no longer be so generic: Simon claims to be working with all available tools of the SnowDrop engine. Dialogue lines are intended to be significantly less repetitive in the future, fit better into context, and match the respective situation.
An “He’s taking cover” should become a “He’s behind the police car” in appropriate moments. Also, dialogues with NPCs should no longer be so similar.
New Weapon Sounds Should Provide Feedback to Players
Part of these improvements is the sound effects from weapons. Agents should be able to hear when the magazine is almost empty, as the sound changes slightly when firing.
Weapon mods have stronger effects: Just like in The Division 1, weapon mods are also supposed to influence the sound. Suppressors and muzzle brakes are expected to bring a distinct audible effect again, but they should also be noticeable in weapon handling. They should be able to feel the difference “in the controller.”
Recording weapons: During the work, the MP5 with a suppressor seems to have become the favorite weapon for the audio director. It was reported to be very controllable. The scariest was the caliber .50 precision rifle, given its power.
Environment Influences the Soundscape
The more varied setting in Washington D.C. wants to be complemented by an equally diverse soundscape. They have developed special systems for this purpose.
Reverberation varies depending on the environment: One of these systems is responsible for detecting the player’s exact position to realistically bounce back sounds like shots from objects such as walls. The type of geography and material play a role here. The sound varies depending on the environment and the material it hits.
As a result, the environments are meant to differ not only visually but also acoustically.
Trees and Birds – The Environment Is Meant to Sound Realistic and Unique
According to Koudriavstev, recordings of weapon sounds are becoming increasingly important. The process is complex, and many things, such as safety, must be considered.
Recordings in appropriate geographical areas: A team even traveled to the swamps of Florida to make recordings there, while gunfire for urban areas could be recorded in the studio. The focus there was more on the reverberation and how sounds were bounced back from specific surfaces.
The recordings in Washington were particularly extensive. These mainly took place at night to avoid traffic noise as much as possible.
Similar reports were made during the development of The Division 1.
Even native bird species were recorded: The nature was particularly in focus this time. To give the environments a natural sound, much emphasis was placed on recordings of trees and animals. Experts might even hear local bird species at the right time of day, in the right neighborhood.
This way, they want to ensure that no place in the game sounds like the other.
And What About the Music?
The old composer is back on board: The creator of the soundtrack for The Division 1, Ola Strandh, will also create the soundtrack for The Division 2. During production, there were discussions about how to evolve the already known sound from the predecessor.
The soundtrack will be darker: Apparently, it was concluded that the new sound should be darker and rougher. The well-known synthesizer-heavy music should receive more weight and become more organic through human emotions. In what form this will happen, we will only know at release.
Best sound in video games? According to Simon Koudriavstev, they are on the right track, but there is still a lot to do to reach the goal. Massive is convinced that the end result will satisfy many players. They want to deliver the best sound that games have ever had.
We are excited to see if they will live up to the high ambitions. However, The Division 1 already had excellent sound effects and an unmistakable soundtrack, apart from a few repetitive dialogue lines.
What do you think? Were you satisfied with the sound in The Division 1?
The DLC policy will also take new paths in The Division 2. Here you can learn more about it.
In GTA 5 Online a message is circulating in single and multiplayer announcing the GTA 6 release for 2019. But that is 99% just fake.
GTA 6 Release? In GTA 5, the news is spreading that GTA 6 is supposed to be released next year. This surprises many players, as Rockstar has not announced anything further about it yet.
This is just fake, right? The authenticity of the in-game message is highly doubtful. It seems that a modder has tricked the system to make the announcement appear real. And to be honest: they did a good job.
This is what the GTA 6 announcement looks like
GTA VI? The Grand Theft Auto community has long been curious about how the series will continue. GTA 5 is getting old and players are hoping for a new installment. About GTA 6. There have already been rumors that it is supposedly set in Vice City. This leak, however, suggests 2022 – with a female lead.
Players share screenshots of the message: In the community on Reddit and in the forums of Rockstargames, users share screenshots of the moment when they received the message about the release of GTA 6. This appears in the interface where messages from Rockstar usually appear.
What is the difference to an official announcement? Normally, you can already clearly recognize from the text in what context a message appears on the screen. Because the modder tricked the system, they were able to use different fonts, sizes, and colors.
Source: Rockstar forums – Torincasa
Source: Rockstar forums – xcucunatorx
Some believe in it: The special thing about the message is that it even appears in single-player mode. Therefore, players want to hold on to its authenticity.
What argues against its authenticity? Rockstar has not posted anywhere, neither on Facebook, Twitter, nor the Rockstar Newswire, any news about GTA 6. Presumably, Rockstar would not “hide” the announcement of GTA VI in-game, but announce it at a big fair in front of a large audience.
How does the modder do it? Players assume that this is a joke from a modder. They apparently found a way to manipulate Rockstar’s Social Club system. The Social Club is also active in single-player mode – which would explain why the message appears there as well.
Realm Royale is a new battle royale title currently in early alpha for PC on Steam. But what about PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, iOS, or Android?
Realm Royale will be released for console. HiRez Studios has not commented on a timeframe yet. Realm Royale is currently in early access on PC and is still in an early development phase.
HiRez has already brought other games to console and mobile that have established themselves on PC.
Release on Consoles: PS4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch
When can we expect a release on consoles? That may still take a while. Realm Royale is still in its infancy and the developers are experimenting with some concepts. The foundation of the game is set, but the framework is still being adjusted. For comparison: Paladins was first playable on PC in late 2016. The release on PS4 and Xbox One followed in May 2017.
Since then, the studio has grown further, has more employees, is working with the Chinese giant Tencent, and has gained more experience. All of this could lead to the release of Realm Royale from PC to other platforms happening a bit faster than in the case of Paladins.
It would also be in HiRez’s interest to bring a port to consoles as quickly as possible while the battle royale competition is still sparse.
Release for Mobile? Android and iOS
How likely is a release here? A mobile release is conceivable. HiRez has experience with iOS and Android. With Paladins Strike the studio brought the hero shooter Paladins to mobile. This was done in collaboration with Tencent. This is an adapted version of Paladins, tailored for smartphones and tablets, and played from a top-down perspective.
When can we expect a release on mobile? Just like in the case of consoles, this may still take a while. Realm Royale first needs to complete the transition out of early alpha and be solid core-wise.
Accusations have recently been made against games like Fortnite. Racist groups can easily recruit youth here.
Games like Fortnite are not only a source of joy for millions of players, but are also exploited by certain groups. It has now become known that racists and Nazis specifically search for youth in such games to persuade them to adopt their ideologies.
Who is Christian Picciolini? Christian Picciolini is a former member of several racist groups. At the age of 14, he was “recruited” and directly experienced how recruitment worked in such groups. Nowadays, he explains at various events how racists and Nazis operate to lure susceptible youth and indoctrinate them with their worldview.

What does Picciolini claim? He reports from his time in the “White Supremacists Groups” and explains how they searched for new recruits for their movement. Back then, they would visit forums where people sought help for depression or mental illnesses. They dropped hints about their racist ideologies and once they had their targets hooked, they promised them “paradise on earth” that they would experience if they embraced the racist ideals.
Fortnite, Minecraft, and Call of Duty as recruitment offices: Nowadays, they are not only active in such forums but also specifically target video games to find potential followers. Picciolini explicitly mentioned games like Fortnite, Minecraft, and Call of Duty.
What do you think about these revelations and how should we deal with them? Should the developers and distributors of the games take strong action and directly punish even slight indications of racism? Or is such a thing simply unavoidable in a free world, and prevention must be approached elsewhere to ensure that youth do not become susceptible to it at all?
With the July update for Destiny 2 the drop chances of the exotic weapon catalysts are increased. They are exclusively found in Strikes: however, they were very rare. Now they are supposed to drop more frequently.
With the overhaul of the exotic weapons as part of the second DLC for Destiny 2, Warmind, players have once again received a new farming target. The various exotic catalysts are obtainable through different activities in the game, currently driving the Guardians back to farming. With patch 1.2.3, even the drop chance of the extremely rare strike catalysts is supposed to be increased.
When does patch 1.2.3 come out? Guardians can expect the release of patch 1.2.3 on July 17.
Strike catalysts really exist
Desperate players are searching for catalysts: As we reported back in May, Guardians were initially unsure if the catalysts, which can only be found in Strikes, really existed in the game. Some players did not see the catalysts drop until after 80 Strikes or more.
According to community manager dmg04, however, the chance for the exotic weapon upgrades could be increased if the Strikes are tackled in their Prestige version of the Nightfalls .
Drop chances are increasing – but not too high
Adjustments to the drop chances are coming: On Reddit, community manager dmg04 was asked how the new catalysts are behaving. They are being introduced with the Prestige mode of the two Raid lairs of the Leviathan. Do these have as low a drop chance as the strike and Nightfall upgrades, or are the new catalysts as rare as those found in PvE activities, such as D.A.R.C.I., Tractor Cannon or the Hand Cannon Crimson?
Dmg04 did not have an answer to that, but stated that the drop chance of the strike catalysts will be adjusted with the July patch 1.2.3. The catalyst for the exotic scout rifle Sunshot, which drops from defeated Cabal enemies, is also supposed to appear more frequently with the July update.
The adjustment is meant to lead to the catalysts dropping more frequently. However, Bungie also wants to ensure that the exotic weapon upgrades do not appear too often. The incentive for players to engage with Strikes and Raids should not disappear.
Also with patch 1.2.3 achieving the highest score in Prestige Nightfalls should still offer the best chances of finding strike catalysts.
Players show gallows humor: The beleaguered players on Reddit can hardly wait for the plans to change the drop chances to be implemented. Guardians continue to discuss that they farm Strikes and Nightfall Strikes every week for a chance at the exotic catalysts, strike ghost shells, or exclusive strike weapons.
Some seem to have already given up hope of ever seeing even one of the exclusive rewards. As one Guardian writes in the Destiny subreddit, players shouldn’t be too excited because Bungie would probably only increase the drop chance from one to two percent.
Have you received one or more of the strike catalysts already? Or are you still farming and can hardly wait for the increase in drop chances?
Fallout 76 is still not fully graspable for many players, as most developer explanations are vague. The game aims to take new paths. Here, the PvP system plays a crucial role.
PvP or not PvP? That is the question
What is Fallout 76? Bethesda wants to create an online experience with Fallout 76 that offers multiplayer but does not stray too far from the original Fallout player experience. That means it is not supposed to become an MMORPG, as Fallout 76 takes place in a post-apocalyptic world where there are only a few survivors. It is also not meant to be an online shooter. Bethesda aims to create a unique gaming experience that many players, however, can hardly imagine.
PvP becomes the crucial point. Fallout 76 essentially offers open PvP among players, but it is subject to rules and restrictions. For example, if someone constantly attacks a player, a high bounty will be placed on their head, and they will be marked on the minimap so that other players can hunt them. However, many players do not believe that this will work for several reasons:
What happens if a player causes another player to unintentionally attack someone by constantly jumping into the explosion of a grenade or running into the line of fire? Will that player then be marked as a “griefer”?
Players could conspire to collect the bounty. Player A attacks Player B repeatedly until the bounty is placed, then allows themselves to be taken out, and Player B collects the reward. Then the roles are reversed.
Griefers often do not care whether a bounty has been placed on them. In EVE Online, for instance, these players even brag about the amount of the bounty.
Other players simply enjoy finding ways to trick such systems, discovering loopholes and weaknesses.
Many just enjoy ruining what others have built. It brings out the child who destroys other children’s sandcastles in the sandbox and takes pleasure in it.
Bethesda stated that they want to ensure fairness and are trying to calm players down. However, this is difficult to implement.
Live operation is always something different than focus tests. On paper, supposedly fair game systems – especially in terms of PvP – always sound good. And this can work during internal tests and small groups. But as soon as a game goes live, such systems reveal weaknesses. Fairness is something that rarely works online. There are some players whose enjoyment comes from ruining others’ fun. They do not care about rules and game systems. They even boast about being “the bad guy”.
Anyone playing games with open PvP quickly finds out how it works there. Other players’ fortresses are repeatedly attacked, or weaker players are constantly victims of the stronger ones. Just look at the MMORPG Worlds Adrift. There, newbies hardly stand a chance because the veterans repeatedly attack them in the starting area.
The MMORPG classic Ultima Online nearly failed because griefers drove away other players. Only by splitting into two worlds, where one made PvP more difficult, could the online role-playing game survive.
Fallout 76 is a team game – even when it comes to PvP griefers.
Open PvP is a niche. Open PvP can function in a game designed for it. As it directly targets players who love this type of play. Then you know exactly what you are getting into when you play. However, this type of MMORPG usually only targets a niche. They rarely reach the mass audience. However, Fallout 76 does not want to be a niche product:
It wants to offer open PvP to attract PvP fans and create a certain danger in the game world
Moreover, it wants to reach the casual player who perhaps has nothing to do with PvP.
A balancing act. Finding a system that appeals to both PvP fans and does not ruin the fun for everyone else is extremely difficult. Furthermore, Fallout 76 is supposed to have a story and offer quests – even if only from computer terminals or robots. This means the focus is not solely on PvP. PvE and story are included in the mix. Players who are constantly attacked by others during a quest may become frustrated and give up. However, it is understandable that the danger posed by PvP should play a role.
With too many rules and security systems, PvP fans will quickly lose interest. They then feel restricted in their freedoms
With too weak rules or too many loopholes, the PvE fans will eventually get annoyed
The middle ground could also be aimed at too few players, which would again make Fallout 76 a niche product
What does Fallout 76 want to be? Another point is that many players are simply not sure what Fallout 76 wants to be. An online game focused on PvP or a PvE title. Especially since there are many burnt children who have lost interest in many games due to griefing, many cannot imagine that a combination would work well. So is Fallout 76 in an identity crisis? Would it be better to split the game into PvE and PvP servers? Bethesda wants to create a new gaming experience that mixes both. The development studio currently holds on to this.
Whether that will work, we will see in live operation – not in internal tests and probably not even in beta tests. Only when the masses play will it show how many griefers exist, how they react to the rules, and whether they find loopholes. Therefore, the PvP system of Fallout 76 could be the deciding factor for the success or failure of the game. From November 14th, we will know more when Fallout 76 is released.

The MMORPG Bless Online has faced much criticism for its western Early Access release. While Neowiz strives to steer the game on the right path through patches and content, player numbers are declining. Is the game really in such a disastrous state, or are there also glimmers of hope? Our guest author, Erzkanzler, looks at the new MMORPG in a review.
Some players, like a village populated by unyielding Gauls, refuse to stop resisting the trend. Are they really all blinded, clueless, and misguided, or are there players for whom Bless might be worth a look?
The Erzkanzler has traveled the two kingdoms and inquired why Bless has become a home for a few despite all the adversities.
This opinion article is written by our guest author Erzkanzler from the Mein-MMO community
Identity Crisis – Bless as a PvP Game? That Doesn’t Work
One thing quickly becomes clear to me, Bless Online has a drastic identity crisis, and there are several reasons for that. Above all, one must critically examine the marketing of the game to uncover the cause of this crisis. Even currently, the official side still promotes an “ongoing battle” between Hieron and Union and epic realm vs realm wars.
PvP Only on a Schedule? Unthinkable for Many Players
For ambitious PvP players, Bless currently offers little incentive. Although there are battlegrounds, they can only be accessed at certain times, and the queues are opaque. Both are fundamental mistakes if PvP is to be marketed as the cornerstone of the game.
Have you read “Asterix in Britain”? The moment when the Britons interrupt the battle because it is time for hot water with milk? The Romans, perplexed, ask whether the battle can continue and promptly receive the answer: “Sorry, it’s the weekend.” And that’s pretty much how it feels for PvP players in Bless right now.
Open PvP is of Little Importance.
More than minor skirmishes between individual players is rare. Aside from a few wandering, quest-completing players from the opposing faction, there are hardly any relevant contents for this player group. Most even resign themselves to their fate without resistance. Even the mass slaughter of unsuspecting players at instance entrances offers neither immediate benefits nor noticeable disadvantages, aside from a little frustration on one side and schadenfreude on the other. This system can certainly be marked as a design flaw.
It is no surprise that the target group feels, to put it mildly, dissatisfied with the existing reality.
There are neither leaderboards nor great loot or status symbols. PvP players do not want to be picking flowers, raising raccoons, or dancing with other players while waiting for a fight. And above all, they do not want to wait!
If you market your game as a PvP game, you should also allow it continuously. There has clearly been development that misses the core target audience. The, for any MMO inevitable initial class balancing issues have taken their toll.
In my view, open PvP is refreshingly irrelevant. I am a PvE player who appreciates PvP in arenas. But open PvP, where players classically wait until I have 5 quest mobs on my tail, only to rob me of my last 10% HP, I detest with all my soul. The soft open PvP in Bless suits me well. Of course, occasionally someone wants to test their mettle, but since it is faction-based PvP, the farming or brawling over certain spots remains manageable. Even though this will surely gain more significance with important elite mobs and their coveted loot, much to the delight of the PvP faction.
Raids are Currently Completely Missing, the Number of Dungeons is Manageable
Neowiz boasts grandly about dungeons and even raids, but unfortunately, the current Early Access version does not live up to expectations. Specifically, the 9 currently available dungeons are hardly worth mentioning. Six of the nine are short interludes in the leveling phase and initially even split between the two factions. The first two are designed for solo play. The remaining three are certainly not enough to keep passionate raid players with many years of experience amused for more than a weekend. So once again, development has missed the second core target audience.
However, the dungeons of the game are challenging enough for less ambitious players. They shine with mechanics that have little in common with the classic “tank & spank” of other MMOs. I wish there were more instances because I find them relatively well done. Although Neowiz has certainly missed an opportunity to position itself better, with a higher number of dungeons, they could have provided a relevant endgame.
Bless, Perhaps an MMORPG for Casual Gamers?
Bless is a game that serves many facets, yet hardly any of them to perfection. This makes it uninteresting or even poor for many players. In my opinion, the criticism has often gone too far. When considering Bless Online as an MMORPG in Early Access, one must also concede to the team at Neowiz: Their product has potential.
And Bless should be seen as an Early Access game. Although large parts are already developed, Neowiz seems willing to adapt and change existing elements.
Interestingly, and this is one of the essences from my conversations with active players, Bless is an MMO for those who wouldn’t directly count themselves among the targeted audiences. They are those who want a bit of everything. Those who enjoy crafting, for example, but do not want to deal with Excel sheets full of ingredients. Those who like to play an instance with friends in the evening without having to memorize tactics from the net for weeks in advance. Players who enjoy coherent graphics, even when a detail is not 100% perfectly aligned.
Solid Combat System, Relevant Crafting and Companion System Form the Basis for Development
The combat system is solid. Although class balancing has diminished many players’ enjoyment of the system a bit. But after two patches, it’s simply fun to plow through the masses with the two-handed axe of the berserker or to burn monsters’ fur with fireballs as a mage. There isn’t a wide build variety as in other MMOs in Bless, but the skills system is noticeably more complex than it initially appears.
The Companion System is unique in the MMO landscape. Wild boar, giant spider, or demon as a companion? No problem, in Bless it’s “catch them all!” Both companions and mounts can be tamed as well as bred. Nothing stands in the way of my heroic skunk, and my mage rides a caterpillar. To create an incentive, these companions also come with helpful buffs and abilities, which can be remarkably high for companions. A rat that grants more attack power or a jumping mushroom that allows you to gather resources faster are not out of the ordinary with some breeding success.
The crafting is relevant! So relevant that even I, as a declared enemy of all in-game crafting professions, engage with them to be equipped with buff food, spirits (runes), and repair hammers. The products can be offered at the auction house, but there is no real free trade. The items have fluctuating minimum and maximum prices. Bless is not an economic simulation.
Group and Guild Play is Rewarded in Bless
And the guild and quest system also has its reason for being. Those who help make their guild more successful help themselves. Because the guild level determines the number and magnitude of buffs that each member receives permanently. This motivates players to experience the game together, but it opposes the current trend of a collection of solo players in MMORPGs. Bless intentionally takes this step; even those who team up to play will be rewarded with additional buffs.
Classic quests in Bless Online are by no means a storytelling delight. The stories told are mostly trivial and insignificant. However, each completed task noticeably advances my character, if only through a little money or upgrade materials for my equipment.
Sometimes it’s the little things that bring joy in Bless
Often, one overlooks small facets in Bless that make me smile. My personal favorite quest is the one where a villager celebrates me as a great hero and wants an autograph from me. It is fulfilled with a simple key press. Nevertheless, I was delighted; how often have I rescued princesses, saved lost children, and slain dragons in MMOs, only to be treated like a stranger by the villagers afterwards? Bless does not make a big exception here, but this quest amused me.
Finally, even the in-game shopis currently quite restrained. One would typically expect boldness and greed in a mediocre but solid creation. Of course, demanding money for transport to an instance or enabling resurrection with real money leaves a sour taste and is likely owed to its free-to-play history. Relevant in terms of fairness, these “advantages” are really not.
A Shop Exists, But Little Can Be Bought with Real Money.
Bless can currently free itself from pay-to-win accusations, and even the pay-to-progress is relatively mild. Once you reach the maximum level, which is quickly achieved, you receive hardly any immediate advantages. Those who want to play at the forefront and take advantage of every little bonus should consider a premium account. Here, there are still 2-3 little things that make progression easier.
Should One Like Bless?
I still have to answer the initially posed question: Are all active Bless players blinded and unwilling to recognize the obvious truth?
Even now, there are still players who want to believe the absurd marketing promises. Those who dream of the next big MMO, the long-awaited WoW killer. There are still players who expect better PvP than in Black Desert Online, looking forward to epic battles, and preparing themselves with daily duels.
But they are getting fewer, and this is clearly reflected in the player numbers. However, those who enjoy the game now, without projecting all their hopes and wishes onto it, those who simply have fun playing, are not blinded. They know what the game currently offers, see opportunities and problems, and have become accustomed to evasively answering the question of what they are currently playing.
It is Now Up to Neowiz to Show How Serious They Are About Bless Online
Neowiz will have to decide: It is now up to Neowiz to choose whether to continue targeting audience expectations that it likely cannot meet in the future or to listen and support those who are currently playing the game. This way, they might soon reach a player base that has previously shown no interest in Bless, namely the all-rounder. The MMO player who wants a bit of everything without having to obsessively focus their gaming experience on a single ultimate goal. Whether Neowiz can achieve this and whether there will be enough players for this concept remains to be seen.
At least the increasing positive reviews indicate the great disappointment is over. Now the game may have a chance to recover. A dream reboot, like that of Final Fantasy XIV, is still far off and hidden behind much work for Neowiz.
In this sense, the Erzkanzler is now going to play “some online game.”
The latest weekly challenges of Season 4 in Fortnite have been revealed. Dataminers have found hints again. But once more, not all tasks are clearly visible.
New information from datamining: Dataminers have once again dug into the code and found the final challenges for Season 4. We now know what might occur in week 10.
Epic trolls again: But just like in the past weeks, Epic has kept the most exciting tasks hidden. Instead, there are only vague hints and old tasks from Season 3.
Season 4, Week 10 – The 7 tasks of the week!
Some of the tasks should definitely be accurate. These seven weekly challenges have been discovered by the dataminers so far:
Deal damage to enemy structures (5,000): This task should be easy to complete. Ideally, you grab a rocket launcher and start shooting!
Search chests in Junk Junction (7): Junk Junction doesn’t have too many chests, but if you’re lucky and it’s a bit remote, you should be able to collect the seven chests soon.
Fly through floating rings (20): This task is probably a placeholder. The same challenge existed in Season 3.
Search a chest, an ammo crate, and a supply drop in a match (3): Maybe it is a placeholder. Otherwise, it’s fairly easy to complete. You just have to survive long enough to get a supply drop.
Each of these weekly tasks gives you five stars in the Season 4 Battle Pass. This way, you might still score the ultimate rewards just in time before the season ends.
These are the hard challenges in week 10 of Fortnite
If we can believe the dataminers, these three tasks each grant ten Battle Stars. This means a level in the Battle Pass is immediately up for grabs!
Search between movie titles (1): This task was actually predicted last week, but then it became the treasure hunt of Haunted Hills. So is the search between movie titles happening now or is it again just a placeholder?
Eliminate opponents (10): If this task is true, you just have to eliminate ten opponents. No matter which weapon.
Eliminate opponents at Fatal Fields (3): Here is again the usual kill task. It shouldn’t be a problem.
No clear statement: Just like in week 9, some of the challenges seem strange. The movie titles could once again just be a fake. And the thing with the rings is definitely incorrect. Rather, it is suspected, among others by the site Forbes, that it instead involves a task concerning the rifts and anomalies appearing everywhere.
The new rift at Lonely Lodge.
Guides coming on Thursday: What exactly challenges await you in the 10th and final week of Season 4 will likely be revealed by Thursday at 10:00 AM at the latest. We will write guides and articles on the challenges as soon as possible, as always.
Credits play a central role in The Crew 2. You buy cars, boats, airplanes, and various cosmetic embellishments with them. But how do you farm credits most effectively? We provide you with a few tips along the way.
The Crew 2 is a racing game with a huge scope. Cars, boats, and airplanes are just waiting to be purchased and upgraded by you. For that, like most times, you need money – or credits. Drivers and flyers are probably interested in how to earn a lot of money in a short amount of time.
We have taken a closer look at this and will give you tips on farming credits here.
Earn money through races
The probably best method to get rich quickly in The Crew 2: Race after race! Therefore, it makes sense to choose the shortest one and repeat it. Not particularly exciting, but very effective, as these races usually take about 2 minutes per round with some skill.
The nice side effect: You also receive parts for your cars along the way, allowing you to eventually drive faster rounds by upgrading your vehicles with them.
The shortest races of the various disciplines at a glance
Here you can see the top 5 races listed that can be finished quickly. Not only the fastest lap time was considered but also how early the race is unlocked.
Note: World records change. These numbers are based on the time when the article was written. Also, you need a suitable vehicle for some of the disciplines.
Street Races: The Strip (South) – World Record: 01:36,029
Off-Road – Rally Raids Highspeed-Drifter – World Record: 01:50,818
Freestyle – Jetsprints: Maine Highlands Cave – World Record: 01:23,630
Pro Racing – Powerboat: Over-Dam – World Record: 01:13,069
More tips to earn more and easier credits
Increase the difficulty level: If you play on hard, you also earn more credits and followers. However, you need suitable cars for that, as the recommended performance level is relatively high. So, buy a vehicle that meets that requirement as early as possible. We have some recommendations for you.
Street Racer:
The MV Augusta F4 RR motorcycle costs 356,719 credits and already has a level of 223 in the standard version
The Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat costs only 280,559 credits and has a level of 195
Rally Raid:
Ducati Hypermotard for 181,439 credits. Comes with a performance level of 72.
Jetsprints:
Proto Leopard for 108,079 credits. Comes with a performance level of 30. While this is initially quite low, it is considered the best boat in its class.
Power Boat:
Frauscher 1414 Demon for 207,759 credits. One of, if not the best speedboat in The Crew 2. The performance level is initially a bit low at 52, but this is a common issue in this category.
If you want a complete list of the best cars and planes in The Crew 2, you can read this here.
In The Crew 2, it is not essential to finish a race in first place. As long as you land in the top 3, you receive the full reward. Even when you are with friends, this rule applies. However, if you compete as a crew, the effect of this rule becomes particularly significant.
You can lose – and still win! So if you are with friends and finish in last place, it’s not tragic as long as someone from your crew is in the top 3. In your group, everyone receives the full reward. This makes farming much more enjoyable.
Do you have other farming methods up your sleeve? Let us know in the comments.

Fortnite: Battle Royale (PC, PS4, iOS, Switch & Xbox One) will soon get a new weapon: the Tommy Gun! This new retro weapon is fueling theories about dimensional rifts and time travel.
What is the Tommy Gun in Fortnite?: Some time ago, the Tommy Gun was found by dataminers in the game code. Although it is called the “Drum Gun”, it looks just like the legendary Thompson submachine gun. This piece dates back to the 1930s and saw extensive use in World War II and in the hands of mobsters during Prohibition.
In Fortnite, the Drum Gun will reportedly be an assault rifle according to the page StormShieldOne. It is weaker than the regular rifle but shoots much faster and has a 50-round magazine.
And then there’s the time travel theory, which is really gaining momentum with the new weapon.
New map with time travel? Currently, Fortnite players are very excited. The mysterious rocket created a sort of rift in the sky on June 30, 2018. Many fans see this as a rift in space and time. Therefore, time travel could now be a topic for Fortnite and the upcoming 5th season.
New weapon and skins as a sign of time travel? The Tommy Gun is not a modern weapon. Rather, it represents retro shooting. Additionally, there are new skins “Detective”, “Sleuth” and “Noir”, all of which have a 1930s style. Some fans are already seeing early hints of the time travel theme.
Romans and Egyptians? Some fans even see more potential for time travel. According to various theories and alleged leaks, some players believe that the theme of Season 5 also includes Romans and ancient Egyptians. Possibly, locations on the map will soon be sucked into the rifts and replaced by historical counterparts.
One of the new skins in 1930s style.
We will find out more latest by July 12, 2018. That is when Season 5 is finally set to start. However, the theme should already be teased further before then.

What happens to Prestige? How do the Honor Levels work? What do you lose? We show the new Honor System in WoW: Battle for Azeroth.
With the upcoming expansion Battle for Azeroth, World of Warcraft once again overhauls the PvP system that players had just gotten used to. The feature of Prestige Levels from Legion will be eliminated and replaced by a new system: Honor Levels. We want to break down how this works.
With the pre-patch 8.0 for Battle for Azeroth, the old Prestige system will be completely abolished. However, your earned Honor will not be lost; it will be fully transferred to the new “Honor Level” system without any losses. However, “one level of Prestige” does not mean that you will also receive “one level of Honor” – the conversion is a bit more complicated.
In Legion, the first Prestige Level required 22,000 Honor.
Each additional Prestige Level required 44,000 Honor.
With Battle for Azeroth, the Honor Levels are introduced:
At the beginning, an Honor Level requires 5,000 Honor.
The value increases rapidly with each level until it eventually stabilizes at 8,800 Honor.
So it can be said that each level of Prestige (after the first) is worth 5 Honor Levels.
A small calculation example: A character with Prestige Level 4 has 154,000 Honor, specifically 1x 22,000 Honor (Prestige Level 1) and 3x 44,000 Honor (Prestige Levels 2 to 4).
Converted to Honor Levels, this means: 154,000 / 8,800 = 17.5.
After the system switch, your character would thus have an Honor Level of at least 17.5 – additionally a few more points, as the first Honor Levels require less Honor.
You earn Honor as usual – the values do not change. In addition to visiting battlegrounds and arenas, participating in Open PvP can also be rewarding, but for this, you must switch to the new War Mode in Battle for Azeroth.
Honor from all characters is aggregated
However, the special twist in Battle for Azeroth is that not every single character has its own Honor Level. Instead, all the Honor of your account is pooled and aggregated (even retroactively!) – the Honor Level applies to your entire account. If you have multiple heroes with a high Prestige Level, you will be pleased after the conversion, as you will start in the game with a lot of Honor.
Even cross-faction: Every Honor you earn will contribute to this Honor Level. It does not matter which character you play; even across Horde and Alliance, the Honor Level remains consistent. It is tied to your account.
New rewards
With the system change, there are also some new rewards that players can earn. They will be integrated into the system and await players upon reaching certain Honor Levels. These rewards are completely new:
Glorious Pennant – a toy for Honor Level 175
Sir Snips/Bucketshell – crab with bucket as armor, battle pet for Honor Level 400
Prestigious Bloodforged Courser – new mount for Honor Level 500
This list of rewards will surely be expanded and filled by Blizzard in the future as more players approach Honor Level 500.
The reward for Honor Level 500. Image source: wowhead
It is important to note: Not every new Honor Level grants a special reward. Particularly later on, there may be up to 100 Honor Levels between individual achievements if Blizzard does not add anything here.
Previously earned rewards remain
Some rewards require more Honor after the system change than before, such as the title “Tactician”. Previously, a Prestige Level of 25 was necessary, which translates into 128.5 Honor Levels. The new requirement for the title is, however, the impressive Honor Level 300!
In such cases, you don’t have to worry. If you received the title in “Legion”, you will still retain it in Battle for Azeroth, even if you have not yet met the new requirements for the title.
Conversely, it will take longer for all players to earn the title, as more Honor is required in Battle for Azeroth.
List of all rewards for PvP Honor Levels in Battle for Azeroth
Here we have the current list of all rewards that will be available for Honor Levels (or “Honor Stages”) in Battle for Azeroth.
What do visitors say about the Pokémon GO Safari Zone in Dortmund? There were many problems, but also good solutions from Niantic.
The Safari Zone: Last weekend, the Safari Zone took place in Pokémon GO. Niantic chose Westfalenpark in Dortmund as the venue. However, activities around the park also took place for the event. Rare Pokémon, which normally do not appear in Germany, made a special appearance over the weekend. This attracted thousands of trainers from all over the world.
Problems: On the first day of the event, problems arose quickly. Server overloads and mobile network breakdowns caused frustration among players. The issues persisted until late Saturday afternoon. During that time, playing was impossible for most trainers in the park.
Nevertheless, positive reports: Many trainers draw their conclusions from the problems and evaluate the event negatively. Others, however, praise how Niantic dealt with the issues and state that they still had a great weekend.
The problems of the Safari Zone in Dortmund
Many players in Dortmund: Shortly before the start of the Safari Zone, Niantic CEO John Hanke posted a photo on Twitter showing the queue before the event.

The problems started early: At 9:00 a.m. the Safari Zone started and about 1.5 hours later, the problems began. “Game data cannot be retrieved from the server” was the message on the smartphones of many Pokémon trainers in Westfalenpark. Niantic quickly tried to address the issues and kept trainers informed via social media.
Apps crashed: Eventually, trainers were warned not to use the item “Incense”. Using it could lead to trainers being temporarily banned from the game.
Frustrated trainers: Many trainers in Dortmund were annoyed by these problems. They traveled hundreds of kilometers for this special event. They wanted to catch rare Pokémon that are usually not found in Germany. When it became impossible to play in the park, they were upset.
Niantic quickly had solutions
Niantic was also aware of the frustrated trainers. After all, it was not in the developers’ interests to present players with a negative experience.
More monsters in the city: Since the reception in Westfalenpark had mostly collapsed, an alternative was needed. Niantic therefore quickly increased the spawns of rare monsters outside of Westfalenpark. This was around 11:30 a.m. – approximately one hour after the problems began.
Also special eggs in the area: The special 2KM eggs that were supposed to be available in Westfalenpark now also appeared from PokéStops in the surrounding area of the park. Niantic’s team therefore tried to offer trainers the most important things that brought them to the event in the first place: special Pokémon and a great group experience.
As the screenshot from trainer Derausmwaldkam shows, there were many special monsters to catch in the City Center of Dortmund:
Day 2 went without problems
Niantic followed up: At the end of the first day of the Safari Zone, Niantic explained that they would now pay close attention to ensuring that the second day went smoothly. And that was indeed the case. The server issues from the previous day did not occur and players could comfortably play. Also, many chose to head to the city and avoid the park due to the mess.
Event as compensation
Europe-wide event coming: On Twitter, the Pokémon GO team announced that a Europe-wide event will start during the week. This can be seen as an apology for the problems at the Safari Zone. Detailed information should follow soon.
This type of compensation pleases many trainers. Although it is still unclear what the rewards or bonuses will be.
What visitors say
What is the mood in the community now? There are now many players in the community who are annoyed because of the issues in Dortmund. Many remember the GO Fest from 2017, which became a legendary mess. They accuse Niantic of not learning from their mistakes.
Others are still satisfied: Despite the many problems, trainers are happy to have been part of this event. They were pleased that Niantic “outsourced” the monsters and were able to continue enjoying their event. We summarize the comments from social media for you here.
Positive voices from the community:
Things didn’t go well in the park at first, but in the city center, it went great
It was nice to see so many Pokémon players at one event
Sunday everything was fine, which comforted over the problems on Saturday
Great weather created a good atmosphere
The park was beautiful, and there was plenty to see besides Pokémon
Negative voices from the community:
Frustration because the event on Saturday did not meet expectations
For some trainers, it was the last event; they are disappointed
Saturday was a disaster
There are now negative outlooks for the GO Fest in July. Similar problems are expected
