The Elder Scrolls Online (PC, Mac, PS4, Xbox One) will soon receive a new dungeon. The “Wolfhunter” package also includes the dungeon “March of Sacrifice”. In it, you can expect completely new boss mechanics.
Hircine calls for the hunt! The upcoming dungeon DLC Wolfhunter brings, in addition to the werewolf epic “Moon Hunter’s Lodge”, a journey to another world. In “March of Sacrifice”, you will be taken into the eponymous domain of the Daedric Prince Hircine. There, you will be granted a special honor, as you will be allowed to participate in the Great Hunt.
What is the Great Hunt? This is Hircine’s favorite hobby, as the prince loves the hunt and delights in the chase of hunters after the hunted. It goes without saying that these roles change from time to time.
The boss is watching!
Dungeon in the fresh air: Unlike other dungeons in ESO, in “March of Sacrifice” you are not in deep vaults and caves. Instead, you will stalk as a hunting party through Hircine’s realm.
Your task: Find and slay Tarcyr, the most powerful of all Indrik. These are magical unicorn-deer that are beautiful but also wield deadly magic.
Hircine sees everything! While you pursue the stag, the mighty Hircine is always visible on the horizon. The Daedric Prince is a colossal monster with the skull of a particularly fearsome-looking stag. This adds to the atmosphere.
Hunters and hunted
You are not alone: Besides the usual creatures found in a daedric hunting ground, Hircine has invited other worthy hunters. They are just as much after you as they are after the Indrik.
The werewolf-orc is the worst! The deadliest of all competitors is Balorgh, an orc-werewolf. Werewolves are chosen beings of Hircine, thus the Rok-wolf considers himself particularly suited to pass the trial of the Hunt Prince. Balorgh is one of the bosses in the dungeon.
Bosses like never before!
Keyword boss mechanics: The final bosses in the March of Sacrifice are, according to the developers, something special. This is especially true for the stag final boss. He has a few new tricks up his sleeve that have never been seen before in ESO. It is probably about teleportation moves of the antlered creature.
Special challenges and rewards: Those who complete the dungeon at the highest difficulty will receive a new persona called “The Beast.” Additionally, there is a new mask and shoulder pieces for the veteran mode. A new set called “Hanus Compassion” can also be found in the dungeon. It is particularly well suited for healers.
When is the dungeon coming? So far, no specific release date has been announced other than the 3rd quarter of 2018. However, you can already try out the new content of Wolfhunter and Update 19 on the test server.
Grand Theft Online will receive its major update on July 24. Gay Tony is back, even if the name may no longer be politically correct. The player will become a nightclub operator and hire famous DJs, even though the club is actually just a front for the player’s criminal business.
When is it coming? The “After Hours” update for GTA Online will be released on July 24.
Who is the star? Tony Prince, aka Gay Tony, is returning. He was already in Grand Theft Auto 4 and seems a bit outdated.
What does the player do? The player will become Tony Prince’s business partner and open a nightclub. There, top-notch DJs like Solomun, Tale of Us, Dixon, or The Black Madonna can perform. While the DJs are real in the actual world, the nightclub isn’t entirely real. It seems to only serve as a “front” for the largest criminal enterprise San Andreas has ever seen.
Chill DLC “Night Hours” is coming
What’s the joke? The funniest scene in the trailer is undoubtedly when someone tells “Gay Tony”: Listen, you can’t call yourself “the gay Tony” anymore. That’s not politically correct. The internet is going to explode.
Interesting in the trailer: It is already clear that the “DJs” you can hire are likely to be… eccentric characters that will provide a laugh in keeping with the more relaxed atmosphere of the DLC. You can’t be more British than the DJ in white. It also seems that Rockstar is putting considerable effort into the story – at least the trailer makes you eager for more.
Not much known yet: Gameplay-wise, all fans of the game are still in the dark. The trailer seems to announce some “heists.” These are the large-scale robberies that players can undertake to fill their pockets.
On July 19th, the State of the Game aired, Massive’s livestream regarding The Division. Among other things, there was information about a new Shield, the Global Event, and a bug that is set to be fixed. We have summarized all the important info for you.
The 102nd State of the Game just aired, and Massive had a few interesting updates. While there was no direct confirmation of the date for the next Global Event alongside a new Shield, they made it quite clear when it is expected to happen. Bug fixes and balance updates were also mentioned.
For fans of comics and books related to The Division, it is also interesting that Julian Gerighty, Creative Director of Massive, is currently at the Comic Convention and had some announcements with him.
What is the State of the Game? In the State of the Game, the developers speak directly to the fans, present new updates and events, or address suggestions and creations from the community.
New Shield “Holy” Available – Going Underground
As of today, July 19th, the new Shield is online. This will lead you underground and is named “Holy”.
What do you need to complete the Shield? You must
complete 10 phases underground,
reach level ten and
kill ten Hunters
They are aware of the problem that the underground is part of a paid DLC. Therefore, it will be free from July 19th until July 26th. During this time, you can test all the contents of the Underground DLC for free and complete the Shield.
What are the Shields anyway? These new achievements are meant to provide various smaller rewards for the agents in both The Division 1 and 2, and will be released monthly. You can find more information about it with us.
Massive on the “Running in Place” Bug and the Classified Striker
The “Running in Place” bug, which is currently a big topic in the community, has finally come to Massive’s attention. They definitely want to solve this problem, but unfortunately, there is currently no date for a possible patch. Although the development of The Division 2 is a top priority right now, they do not want to leave the community with such problems.
You can read about what this bug entails and how significantly it affects the game with us.
Classified Striker and Showstopper a Problem? Also discussed is the current situation with the secret Striker set, which is currently considered the strongest – too strong according to most of the community. Part of the problem is the exotic shotgun “Showstopper”. Especially on consoles, in conjunction with the CronusMax tool, it causes discontent.
Here, too, there is no timeline for when a solution is expected. Nevertheless, it is encouraging that at least some fundamental issues are being addressed.
Massive asks for understanding that not all bugs and glitches can be fixed, as there simply hasn’t been a solution for some and resources are mainly focused on the development of the sequel.
Global Event “Assault” Coming This July – But When?
Somewhat strangely, the statements about the upcoming Global Event were made. It is set to appear later in July, just not next week. They do not yet have a date and cannot say when Assault starts.
The thing is: July doesn’t have much time left. Following the process of elimination, only Monday, July 30th, and Tuesday, July 31st, remain for the launch of the Global Event. As these have mostly started on a Tuesday, the assumption is that July 31st is the most likely start date.
Which Classified sets can be purchased in containers during the Global Event? In this event, you can look forward to the secret Watcher set, the Striker set, and the Technician set.
These are the modifiers of the Global Event:
Global Modifier: Agents deal increased damage to enemies at close range.
Activity Modifier: Enemies deal increased damage to you at long range.
Group Modifier: Stay close together to deal more damage.
While the Global Modifier is always active, you can optionally enable the other two modifiers for some activities. You receive additional rewards upon successful completion.
The Division at the Comic Convention – Comics, Lore Book, and Novel Announced
Julian Gerighty (Creative Director) is currently at the Comic Con and had some announcements. In addition to comics and a lore book, there is also a new novel in the works.
Cooperation with Dark Horse Comics. For comic fans among you, this brand should be no stranger. In collaboration with Massive.

Author of the first Division novel back on board: They are also working on a new novel. The author will once again be Alexander Irvine, who previously wrote the novel “New York Collapse”.
When is all this expected to be released? No exact dates are available yet. However, as it stands, both the comics, the novel, and the lore book are set to release in March 2019. This is also plausible, as The Division 2 is expected to launch in that month.

Recently, both Prestige Raid Lairs, the Spire of Stars and the Last Wish, started in Destiny 2 … The community had been waiting for months. But now that the elite challenges are in the game, no one seems to care. Worse still: the fans are mostly disappointed. Our author Sven wonders: Why?
The Prestige Raid Lairs – Highly anticipated, yet disappointing for many
After the Prestige Lairs were long awaited and had been postponed, it was finally time with the release of the July update: On July 17, the Prestige mode of the Last Wish launched, and the next day the Prestige version of the Spire of Stars was opened. This is what happened:
In the first raid lair, the world was still somewhat okay. The race for the World First in the Last Wish still enjoyed some attention. Not as much as at the start of a new raid lair and certainly not as much as at the start of a new raid, but the eyes of the Destiny community were for the moment focused on the new Prestige Lair.
But just a day later, when the second raid lair opened its gates, hardly anyone seemed to care anymore.
The second Prestige Raid fizzles out: The reactions and the (dis)interest of the fans and the gaming press speak a clear language – the highly anticipated Prestige modes disappoint and do not truly spark much interest.
On Reddit and other platforms, there is little to no discussion. The press barely reports on it. Even on YouTube, one currently has to search with a magnifying glass for videos about the Prestige raid runs in the Spire of Stars. It used to be different.
What is the reason? The mood was already dead before the start
Too much revealed: Bungie revealed too much about the new raid lairs ahead of time. While there wasn’t really much to say about the topic, in a “This Week at Bungie” blog, the studio discussed the Prestige Raid Lairs. In doing so, they revealed a crucial detail that left fans puzzled.
No new mechanics: The developers explained that there would be no new mechanics during the individual encounters in the Prestige modes of the raid lairs. This fact alone turned out to be a mood killer and took away the excitement of many fans for the challenge.
And this premonition was confirmed in practice. After the first runs, even parts of the Destiny celebrity community, like the exceptional player Gigz, admitted: While it was okay, they would have preferred the classic Prestige experience with new mechanics and higher difficulty. Other fans shared this opinion.
Too easy: While Bungie announced that limited weapon loadouts and new Prestige modifiers should provide more excitement and variety, these have not proven to be a significant obstacle. Additionally, some fans are rather annoyed by this and feel constrained. After all, the studio keeps emphasizing that Guardians should play as they wish.
There’s also a lack of loot
Hardly any worthwhile loot: The new raid lairs currently represent the only opportunity to obtain weapons with a power level of 400 before the Forsaken expansion, but the elevated level cap only offers a real incentive for very few players.
Soon it will be Forsaken: Because at power level 400, you will only be able to obtain the armor from the upcoming Solstice event – just under a month before the power level will again increase with the Forsaken expansion, this time to 600. Then, one will likely reach the 400 cap within the first few story missions effortlessly.
Many fans simply lack the incentive here. The power level carrot does not entice everyone. But at least through the new raid-exclusive masterwork catalysts, the new Prestige modes gain some appeal for certain fans.
The timing problem in Destiny 2
One problem is the timing: Guardians have been waiting for the challenge for over half a year. They thought something great, truly challenging, and innovative was coming, which would also test the toughest players. The elite players prepared for this challenge for half a year. Their gear steadily improved.
Most players expected something different than a raid that could be completed in 20 minutes.
Prestige Raids were supposed to be a highlight, but feel loveless
Bungie seems to only be fulfilling a duty: Parts of the community feel that Bungie is just fulfilling a duty to the Guardians with this implementation of the Prestige modes. They had promised fans Prestige Lairs long ago, and now they delivered them – the “how” does not seem to have been that important.
Responsible for the feeling is likely the uninspired and uncreative design that completely avoids new mechanics.
Many Guardians are disappointed: The new Prestige Lairs will certainly keep some Guardians entertained until the Forsaken expansion. However, interest seems not to be as high as it was during the release of the regular raid passages. Most fans likely expected much more here.
In Fortnite: Battle Royale, there’s a hidden star in an image in Week 2 of Season 5 again. Here you will learn where the secret Battle Star reward is.
Road Trip Week 2: If you have completed all seven challenges from Week 2 of Season 5 in Fortnite, you unlock another bonus title image. It shows, besides a story-relevant scene, the location of another Battle Star. It is worth a complete level in the pass!
Complete all challenges from Week 1, Season 5 and unlock the bonus screen
The 2nd bonus image: The second bonus image of Season 5 shows the continuation of the scene from the first image of Week 1. There, the character Drift has just arrived. In image 2, he has made friends with his new buddies, the Color Bomber, the Cuddle Team Leader, and Rex.
Together they race with a golf cart over the new golf course at Lazy Links, hitting golf balls all around. A peaceful, fun scene that might not seem fitting for Battle Royale. But much more interesting than the fun scenery is what’s happening in the background.
Here you will find the 2nd bonus level for the Battle Pass
Where is the star? The bonus star is easy to see this time. It hovers slightly transparent in the background above the pointed roof of the large house at Lazy Links.
Off to the golf course! To retrieve the treasure, you should quickly go to the coordinates F2 at Lazy Links. Land there on the roof of the large building by the golf course. The star should then appear if you have completed all tasks in Weeks 1 and 2.
Is there a video for this? If you want to see the search for the bonus star in motion, you can watch it in a video by the YouTuber Tabor Hill. However, keep in mind that he recorded the video before Week 2 started. His information is based on a leak of the image from Week 2 that data miners dug up in advance. The star should still be there. Have fun collecting!

“Throw baskets in different places” is one of the challenges of week 2 in Season 5 of Fortnite: Battle Royale. We will explain how you can throw the basketball into the basket in Fortnite and where to find the 9 basketball courts in Fortnite.
First, get the ball: To complete this challenge from week 2 of Season 5, you need a basketball. You can only get one when you reach level 11 in the Season 5 Battle Pass. But don’t worry, this level is easy to achieve.
Then equip the ball: Go into your locker menu and place the ball in one of the primary slots. This way, you’ll have it ready without having to scroll through all your emotes and actions in-game. After all, a John Wick might sneak up on you from behind!
How to throw baskets at basketball courts in Fortnite – Here’s how
This is how you throw baskets: If you’re observant, you might have already found one or the other basketball court in the game. Indeed, you don’t have to do much more than go to the locations and throw a basket there.
Stand a little distance from the basket, press the corresponding button (“B” on PC), and select the basketball. Release the button, and the ball will fly to the basket, scoring a point. You need to do this at a total of 5 locations, and you will have completed the challenge.
Where can I find a basketball hoop? – Map with all basketball court locations
More than enough playgrounds: As mentioned, you only need to throw a basket 5 times. It just has to be at five different locations. However, there are far more in the game. Currently, nine are known.
But be careful: Especially around Tilted Towers, Greasy Grove, or Paradise Palms, there are many enemies around. And some Omega Wick shows no mercy and will shoot you even if you just want to peacefully throw a ball. Especially at Paradise Palms, kills are the trend this week, so be careful and maybe wait until later in the game to go to these places if they are not in the safe storm zone.
Have you found any other locations with basketball courts?
Leveling fresh characters in WoW has become harder. Presumably, some bugs from patch 8.0 are to blame.
With patch 8.0, World of Warcraft has been thoroughly revamped. Especially the stat squish is still causing numerous problems. Those who want to level a new character are subjected to a torturous process.
What’s going on? When leveling a new character, many players feel that progress has become too sluggish since patch 8.0. Fights take longer than before because enemies now have more health points in relation to the damage abilities deal.
What is the reason for this? The pre-patch 8.0 has once again performed the “stat squish” in World of Warcraft. This was meant to make all numbers in the game smaller and easier to read. In most cases, this has worked. At the maximum level, numbers are again decent, and the actual strength compared to the enemies has not diminished. In older areas, this has not worked. Here, fights often take longer and turn into boss encounters.
Companions are extremely weak. Warlocks, mages with frost elementals, and hunters are complaining en masse. Frequently, their companions are so weak that they are knocked out after just one or two hits. Summoning the creature takes longer than their actual usefulness in battle.
Some abilities are particularly harsh. Individual abilities of enemies do not scale at all. For example, in the starting area of the Pandaren, a player can be blown away with 50,000 damage – and this when the character only has about 200 health points. That is probably a rather difficult start to the hero’s life.
Players hope that Blizzard will quickly rectify this. Many fans want to level a few twinks and bring them to the maximum level before the release of Battle for Azeroth on August 14. Currently, however, it’s more of a torture and has little to do with fun.
Have you leveled again since the patch? What is your impression of the new stat scaling? Should it stay this way, or will the fun be lost?
Week 2 of Season 5 of Fortnite: Battle Royale lets you search for a treasure between three locations again. The instruction is “Search between an oasis, a rock arch, and dinosaurs.” This time, the treasure map of Week 2 leads to the southeast. Here you will learn how to retrieve the treasure this time.
New week, new treasure hunt! In the second week of Season 5, you need to find a treasure that, according to the challenge text, is located between three places: an oasis, a rock arch, and dinosaurs. All these locations can be found in the southeast, at the new area Paradise Palms.
Fortnite Treasure Map of Week 2: How to Find the Treasure in the Desert!
Off to Paradise Palms: To find the treasure, you need to visit a location in the center of the three mentioned places. They are all located, as expected, in the desert region south of Paradise Palms. There you will find the oasis, three dinosaurs, and the rock arch is also easy to find.
Land correctly! The location of the treasure between the three places is on a mesa in the desert. There you will also find a mobile home and a sun umbrella.
Here is the mountain, but do not land on top.
But be careful! The treasure is not hidden at the top of the mountain. Rather, the star can be found down at the northeastern slope of the mountain. You can see it clearly in the picture here. Just make sure to step in the right spot. Then the star will appear and you just need to collect it.
Here below is the true location.
Beware, Snipers
Beware in Week 2! Note that you must collect the treasure by pressing the action button first. It takes about a second. During this time, you are defenseless and easy prey for sneaky John Wicks and Omegas.
Tryhards on the prowl: They may prefer to use sniper rifles in Week 2 in Paradise Palms, because kills with these weapons also count as a weekly challenge in that area. And a Wick doesn’t care if you just want to quickly collect the treasure.
The treasure location as a video
Would you prefer to see the treasure location of Week 2 of Season 5 as a video? We found a YouTube video at PolygonGuides that describes the treasure location. There you can see exactly where the treasure is located on the northeastern slope of the mountain. Have fun searching!

How to complete the challenges from Week 2 – Season 5
Here you can learn how to complete the new challenges optimally. For some challenges, we have even linked extensive guides.
Challenge 1 – Inflict damage to opponents with assault rifles
All easy! Assault rifles are common and very powerful. Inflicting 1,000 points of damage should really be no problem.
Challenge 2 – Search ammo boxes in a single match
Also simple: You can find plenty of ammo boxes. You’ll only find seven in a game if you hold out longer. So ideally, go hunting in remote areas and use a rift to quickly get back to the action when the storm comes.
Challenge 3 – Eliminate opponents at Paradise Palms (hard)
Happy hunting! The new area Paradise Palms in the southeast is likely to be well-visited. So act vigorously and preferably shoot with an assault rifle or a sniper rifle. Then you’ll complete this task quickly.
Challenge 4 – Search chests at Loot Lake (Battle Pass only)
08-15 task, but annoying: Unfortunately, Loot Lake isn’t very fruitful. It might take a while until you find the seven required boxes.
Challenge 5 – Throw baskets at various locations (Battle Pass only)
Challenge 6 – Search between an oasis, a rock arch, and dinosaurs (Battle Pass only)
Treasure hunt as usual: You can also find this treasure in Paradise Palms, so be careful not to be found by kill-hungry John Wicks (or Omegas). We will show you where exactly to find it in a separate guide for the treasure’s location between the oasis and the dinos.
Challenge 7 – Eliminate opponents with a sniper rifle (Battle Pass only)
The typical kill job: This time, sniper rifles are up next. Fortunately, the semi-automatic sniper rifle was recently buffed.
Pro tip: If you’re not good at shooting with the sniper rifle, then play in a team mode and finish off a downed enemy with the sniper. That counts too.
The latest WoW patch has numerous bugs. Blizzard should really be ashamed of this update.
Since yesterday, the major Patch 8.0 has been active in World of Warcraft and brought many changes. After all, the patch already includes all the major innovations of the upcoming expansion Battle for Azeroth. However, one cannot really speak of a “smooth update” for Patch 8.0. There are numerous bugs and issues. Even initial hotfixes solve only a small part of them.
There are still countless issues that players are raising in the official forums and on Reddit. We want to briefly present some of the most prominent bugs and inconsistencies.
The scaling after the stat squeeze. In many areas of the game, the stats of opponents or items are still incorrect. Sometimes, despite a harder difficulty (like in Mythic+), items have worse stats. During leveling, some opponents are far too strong, and even normal opponents can sometimes lead to boss fights.
Missing textures and graphic issues. Numerous models in the game have been updated and improved – but some have gone wrong. Some creatures simply have no texture at all (they are just white) or have a strange, distorted appearance. One bug even causes worse graphics than before the patch. For instance, objects in the distance are rendered much later even at the highest graphics settings.
Bugs and strange decisions. In addition, many players are disappointed that the “Legacy Loot” feature does not count for dungeons and raids from the previous expansion yet, but only one expansion later. So, for example, those currently playing in “Warlords of Draenor” still have Personal Loot and thus on average less loot when completing old raids.
The community feature. The highly anticipated community feature simply does not work at all and has caused numerous problems. In Europe, it was temporarily completely disabled. There is no date yet for the reactivation of the feature.
In summary, Patch 8.0 has brought a lot of issues that Blizzard needs to address urgently.
This will probably be the first release of a WoW expansion where Blizzard’s timing becomes a downfall. Sadly, with Battle for Azeroth and the pre-patch, one feels for the first time in a long time that Blizzard is deviating from “It’s done when it’s done”. Whether this is due to the increased content hunger of the community or internal pressure from Blizzard is not so easy to say.
On Reddit, players agree: The overall quality of Patch 8.0 is far below the level that players otherwise expect from Blizzard.
What is your impression of Patch 8.0? Is everything running smoothly for you? Or are you struggling with bugs? Is it acceptable for so much to go wrong after a patch?
Fortnite is available on almost all platforms, just not for Android phones. However, data miners may have found hints of an upcoming release of the Android version.
Is the launch for Samsung smartphones and others coming soon?
Data miners find hot leads: According to the site Eurogamer, data miners have finally new information for Android fans of Fortnite. In the data from the last patch for Update 5.0, some suspicious lines of text have appeared:
Android_Engine.ini
Android_Game.ini
Android_RuntimeOptions.ini
Will the Android release still happen in July? These files may be important for establishing crossplay features between the other platforms and Android devices. The existence of these files could really indicate that the Android release of Fortnite is imminent. Possibly even in the last week of July or early August.
Yes, there has been a lot of Fortnite in 2018 so far. Definitely a reason for the success of our site.
Season 5 plays a role: The recently started Season 5 also suggests an imminent release. It would be more than unfair if Android players had to start in the middle or at the end of the season, as they would hardly have a chance to unlock everything. Therefore, the start of the new Battle Pass could also indicate a forthcoming Android release.
Does Epic hate Android? Hardly, because there is a simple reason for the delayed Android release. The Switch and iOS devices are all from the same manufacturer. Hardware and software are tightly integrated.
https://youtu.be/Ya4fdugagY0
Android, on the other hand, is an open system and is used by a multitude of mobile devices. Developers therefore have much more work to optimize the game for all eligible devices. This is likely the reason for the long delay of the Android version of Fortnite.
The highlight of the summer for Destiny 2 embodies the Solstice of Heroes. During this summer festival, Guardians can unlock various versions of the event armor. How to do this, we explain in our guide.
Before the Forsaken expansion kicks off the second year of Destiny 2 on September 4, 2018, fans have something to do again. As part of the Solstice of Heroes, Guardians celebrate their past achievements while allowing the first year of Destiny 2 to conclude.
For the occasion of the festival, there are numerous new rewards to earn – including various sets of event armor. We have summarized how to obtain all individual pieces of the ceremony armor for you below.
Solstice Armor – Your Path to All Three Sets
The ceremony armors: As a reward during the Solstice event, starting July 31, there will be the ceremony armor of the Solstice of Heroes. This is essentially the same armor set that your Guardians wore at the beginning of Destiny 2 when the city fell to the Cabal – at least at the start of the event. You can upgrade this armor step by step in the form of various sets – both in appearance and in power level.
These armor sets can be upgraded step by step to power level 400: At the beginning of the Solstice of Heroes, you will first receive the “Scorched” armor set, which has a power level of 240. For each piece of armor, there is a series of tasks to complete. This allows you to upgrade the armor – among other things in the Redux missions. Once you have met the requirements, you go to the statue of the heroes to upgrade the armor and start the next set.
After your damaged set is completed, you will receive the “Rekindled” set. This time the armor has a power level of 340. Again, you need to complete a task list and then ultimately receive the “Radiant” armor set with a power level of 400. Once all the corresponding tasks have been completed, you unlock the masterpiece version of this ceremony armor.
If you prefer the appearance of the “Scorched” or “Rekindled” sets and want to use this appearance, that’s also possible. For every “Radiant” set, you can activate the previous versions of the armor as ornaments. So you can decide as you wish how each of your armor pieces looks.
These Tasks You Must Complete to Unlock All Armor Pieces
To unlock individual armor pieces of the sets and upgrade the sets, you need to do the following:
Note: Elemental Orbs (Arc, Solar, Void) are generated by wearing the complete set of Solstice armor during the event.
Titan Armor Sets
Scorched Set: From Scorched to Rekindled
Helmet: Complete the Redux mission Spark, collect Arc Orbs (150) and defeat other Guardians in the Crucible (10).
Gauntlets: Complete the Redux mission Homecoming, collect Solar Orbs (90) in Strikes and complete a meditation for Ikora.
Chest Armor: Complete the Redux mission Chosen, collect Void Orbs (90) and complete Heroic Public Events (10).
Leg Armor: Complete the Redux mission 1AE, collect Super Kills in the Crucible (30) and defeat Mini-Bosses (50).

Helmet: Complete the Redux mission Chosen, defeat enemies with the Solar Super (200) and complete a Nightfall Strike.
Gauntlets: Complete the Redux mission Revenge, defeat enemies with Solar energy weapons (160) and complete Heroic Strikes (3).
Chest Armor: Complete the Redux mission 1 AE, defeat enemies with Arc grenades (120) and win Crucible matches (5, no Private Matches).
Leg Armor: Complete the Redux mission Spark, defeat enemies with Void melee abilities (60) and complete Adventures (10).
Class Item: Complete the Redux mission Homecoming, defeat enemies with Arc power weapons (80) and eliminate enemies (500).

Helmet: Complete a Prestige Nightfall Strike at or above the bonus threshold.
Gauntlets: Complete Heroic Strikes (5) with at least one clan mate.
Chest Armor: Complete the Leviathan raid on Prestige.

Class Item: Defeat bosses (10).
Hunter Armor Sets

Fortnite: Battle Royale (PC, PS4, iOS & Xbox One) is finally back online after a long server maintenance. But the challenges and tasks expected for today for week 2 are not there yet: Where are the challenges?
A long wait for nothing: Today, on 19.07.2018, the new challenges for week 2 of season 5 were supposed to be available on the Fortnite servers at 10:00 AM as usual. Instead, the Fortnite servers were down until around 1 PM. The game has only recently become playable again.
But the challenges and weekly tasks are still missing!
Where are the challenges for week 2?
Nothing happening! When the servers came back online, I logged in like a quick raccoon to finally find out the current challenges for week 2. But there was nothing to see. Instead, it still said “In 3 hours” for week 2. Also, no game could even be started.

Weekly tasks only at 3 PM? Well, the problem with the matches was resolved shortly after, and people could play again. But the challenges for week 2 were still missing. Instead, it now said “In 2 hours”. So far, that hasn’t changed. Does that mean that the weekly tasks would only go online today at 3 PM?
No patch notes so far – What has the update changed in Fortnite?
What has the server maintenance achieved? It is also unclear what exactly has happened. Epic still speaks of a maintenance period, meaning server maintenance. This might indicate new content but doesn’t have to.
No gift option after all? Many fans were expecting a return of the creative mode or the previously teased gift option. But so far, there is nothing to be seen.
Currently, the upcoming MMORPG Chronicles of Elyria consists of individual modules, which will soon be combined into a complete game.
Everything is coming together
The “critical” release is coming. The team behind Chronicles of Elyria is currently working hard on version 0.4.0. This version is referred to as a “critical” release because it will integrate all previous prototype modules into the code, forming a “grand whole”. The MMORPG will no longer consist of isolated and separate components. Everything the developers have worked on so far will merge into a game.
The gameplay of Alpha 1 is coming together. Once these modules are combined, the gameplay for the Alpha 1 will be available. However, this will only include the core functions, and they are currently in a very early stage. When version 0.4.0 is completed, Chronicles of Elyria will officially enter its first alpha phase and will roughly demonstrate how the MMORPG will play later on.
A game is growing together. The team explains which systems they are currently working on, which will then be assembled for Alpha 1:
Revision of the skill system
Improvement of the crafting professions
Optimization of the combat system
Creation of the world and biomes
A six-week event in summer, during which the backstory for the launch of the game will be created
What does Alpha 1 offer? The alpha will give you a small insight into the MMORPG. The developers hope to have many of the systems in a state where you can test them by then. This includes:
Release still unclear. The developers have not yet set a release date for version 0.4.0 and thus for Alpha 1 of Chronicles of Elyria. This is also because this version is so important. It will convey the first impression of the MMORPG. And this should of course be positive.

The first fix for Patch 8.0 of World of Warcraft is here. The program includes changes to classes and many, many bug fixes.
Patch 8.0 of World of Warcraft has been active in WoW since yesterday (07/18/2018) and should prepare players for the expansion Battle for Azeroth. However, the update didn’t run smoothly, as numerous bugs have crept in. Now Blizzard has at least rolled out the first hotfix to address the biggest issues. We reveal what the developers have fixed.
Blizzard is once again tinkering with the healers of Overwatch. The popular healer Mercy is getting nerfed, while almost all other healers will receive a buff.
Mercy is getting nerfed: Mercy is currently present in almost every match as a healer. She usually restores more health than other healers and is expected to continue to do so – however, Blizzard wants to prevent her from completely crowding out other healers.
Specifically, Mercy’s healing beam will be 17% weaker and will heal only 50 health points per second instead of 60. All changes are expected to take effect with the next patch.
Changes to the healers in the next Overwatch patch
Most other healers besides Mercy will also receive a buff with the next patch. This is intended to give them a better chance of finding a place in a team and not just sit on the bench for special situations.
Ana: Ana’s Nanoboost now heals the target for an additional 300 health points. The effect stacks with the buff to attack power and damage reduction triggered by her ultimate. This change is intended to make her ultimate a bit more versatile and give Ana the ability to effectively save teammates.
Lúcio: Lúcio’s Sound Barrier now provides a shield of 750 health points instead of just 500. Additionally, the range of his auras is increased from 10 to 12 meters. With the stronger ultimate, Lúcio can now fully negate high damage spikes like a Kamikaze tire. However, the shield still expires in the same time as before.
Moira: Moira’s healing resource now charges 20% faster. According to the developers, Moira is already a strong healer. However, she struggles when there are no enemies nearby to charge her resource. The change is intended to help her better support her team, even when it gets caught in long-range battles without nearby opponents.
Brigitte: Brigitte is the only healer besides Mercy to receive a nerf. The cooldown of her Shield Bash has been increased from 6 to 7 seconds. Brigitte has the highest win rate among all healers, even though she heals the least. The nerf to Shield Bash is intended to make it somewhat easier to play against her without trimming too many of her abilities.
Zenyatta: Zenyatta is currently considered by Blizzard to be in a very good position. He fulfills his role as a hybrid between DPS and healer. Therefore, no changes will be made to the Omnic monk.
Most comments under the update in the Overwatch forum express support for the upcoming changes. Many players see it as a step in the right direction to adjust the somewhat overpowered healers and give weaker healers a chance.
However, there is also some criticism of the decision to nerf. While Mercy is certainly a very strong healer, the actual reason for her strength is her resurrection ability. Weakening her healing may not necessarily be the right approach.
Heroes do not die!
As previously mentioned in earlier posts by Blizzard, balancing Mercy’s resurrection is difficult. The ability is iconic for Mercy and cannot simply be removed – however, adjusting it is very complicated.
What do you think of the changes? Do you welcome them or are you annoyed by the nerfs? Let us know in the comments!
At Mein MMO, we look back at the first half of 2018, welcome a lost son with a bad haircut, and tell you what’s next.
Much has happened since Christmas: The last greeting from the editorial team came at Christmas 2017, and now we are in a heatwave. If you still have your Christmas tree in the living room, you have definitively lost control over your life. In the meantime, we had our relaunch at Mein MMO and we have shaken up the editorial team significantly.
Departures
At Christmas, we introduced you to our new freelance author Guddy, who had been with us since October. However, Guddy left us at the end of February. Ciao Guddy!
Our highly praised author Tom “Ttime” Rothstein has taken a several-month break after two long and hard years. Tom was part of the foundation of our site in 2016 and 2017. He would, in all modesty, even emphasize that he was the pillar. Tom co-led the editorial team and was also responsible for main games like Destiny, The Division, and FIFA.
His decision to leave Mein MMO indefinitely was quite a shock for us at the beginning of the year, which shook up our editorial team. After all, a good portion of our articles came from Tom. Many in the community could hardly imagine “Mein MMO” without Tom. However, he stayed a few more weeks to guide the authors who were supposed to continue his work.
With this image, we called for new authors from the community.
The Upheaval
Help from the Community: As soon as we found out about Tom’s departure, we immediately sought new authors here on the site. And the great thing is: Meanwhile, “Mein MMO” is a brand.
We noticed: Authors and gamers with expertise about their MMO want to work with us. Therefore, we had a great selection of applicants from our community.
The Special Feature: Many of those we hired have known our site for years. They have been watching from the outside. People consciously chose us as they wanted to be part of the team. In the first conversations with applicants, several said: “I know you from the internet!” This way, we surely gained people who wouldn’t have applied if we weren’t the site that we have become after 4 years!
Yes, there was also a lot of Fortnite in 2018 so far. Surely a reason for the success of our site.
New Arrivals
Directly for Tom, we were able to win Micha Deckert as our new editor. Micha is a dedicated Xbox One player and primarily takes care of the organization of the site: She controls and plans contributions, writes herself, works with the authors, and further develops “Mein MMO” as a project. Micha does not have a fixed main game herself. When she revealed her love for memes, she immediately became Cortyn’s new best friend. Micha found her way to us through her enthusiasm for Destiny.
Our new guy for Destiny and PlayStation 4 is Sven Galitzki. He is a family man and as we could see in our live stream during E3: He is an ex-football player and thus quite a beast. If you not only watched but also listened during the stream, you recognized: Sven is an expert for multiplayer games and has deep knowledge about Destiny, as well as a broad understanding of titles like Anthem, The Division, and many more. Sven hopes, like all of us, that Destiny 2 with “Forsaken” will still catch up. In addition to Destiny, he also covers other shooters and the PlayStation 4 as a platform for us as a freelance author.
(from left: Sven, Leya, Dawid)
New on board is Irina Moritz as a freelance author. She is a specialist in the MMORPG Final Fantasy XIV and is a well-known figure in the community there. Irie also covers exotic games from Asia for us, such as Lost ARK or Justice Online.
A trio of students rounds off the new Mein MMO editorial team:
Tarek Zehrer is an enthusiastic gamer who covers The Division and The Division 2 for us. He has also worked on The Crew 2 for us. In the future, he will dive even deeper into Mein MMO and accompany more games.
Philipp Junge is an absolute FIFA expert who will extensively cover EA’s soccer simulation FIFA 19 on Mein MMO.
Lucas Kaczynski is our new guy for MMORPGs. He covered the launch of Bless and The Elder Scrolls Online “Summerset”. Lucas will also be responsible for Black Desert. He will keep the MMORPG flag flying on our site.
Returnees and Promotions
Patrick Freese, our go-to guy for Pokémon GO, has collected enough Patrick candies by now. So, he was able to evolve from a freelance author to a full-time employee. Patrick is therefore also working on the structure of Mein-MMO.de. For example, he has made sure that we no longer publish articles on the hour and half-hour, but as soon as they are ready. Sometimes 4 articles come out per hour, sometimes none. This, however, was a major advancement for the timeliness of Mein MMO.
And Tom, who triggered the upheaval at the beginning of the year, cannot stay away from us and has announced his triumphant return. However, no one will have to make room for Tom. As a freelance contributor, Tom will work with us on FIFA 19 and Destiny 2. Provided, of course, that the authors who replaced him actually let him write an article.
How has the year been for Mein MMO?
2018 has been going very well so far. We are now the third-largest gaming site in Germany. Compared to 2017, we have almost doubled in size.
This opens up new opportunities for us, some of which you will soon see on the site. We will be at Gamescom with 3 people.
The expansion of our site into a community portal will continue: After you can already mark the posts that are dear to you with the “+1”, we will give you even more opportunities to be part of Mein MMO. We already offer you the option to register on Mein MMO and write user reviews.
What’s coming in 2018: Now, with World of Warcraft: Battle for Azeroth, Destiny 2: Forsaken, Red Dead Redemption 2, FIFA 19, Battlefield V, and Fallout 76, there are several highlights waiting for you and our team, we can say: We at Mein MMO are ready!
With the upcoming NEXT update, Hello Games is finally introducing a multiplayer mode for No Man’s Sky. Something that players have wished for since the beginning.
A rough start evolves into a better game
From hype to disappointment: When No Man’s Sky was announced, many players imagined how cool it would be to explore this immense galaxy, engage in space battles, and experience adventures with other players. However, when the game was released in August 2016, the disappointment was great. Not only were some of the promised features, like massive space battles with entire fleets, missing, but it was also impossible to encounter other players, even if you happened to be on the same planet.
No Man’s Sky is becoming a better game: Several updates have added interesting new features, such as base building, land vehicles, and more varied worlds. It has now become possible to meet other players – albeit only in the form of ghostly figures. With NEXT, Hello Games announced in March the largest update yet, which will finally introduce “real” multiplayer. A trailer now shows what we can expect.
Real Multiplayer in NMS
Finally playing with others: In the NEXT trailer, a group of players can be seen running around on a planet in third-person perspective. Hello Games has not yet announced how many players can interact with each other at maximum, but it is said to be small groups. The trailer suggests that we will be traveling in groups of four. However, many questions remain unanswered, such as:
What happens if we reach the maximum group size but encounter another player?
Will additional players and groups simply be hidden if the maximum number is reached?
Do we have to form groups?
How do players find each other and form groups?
Playable aliens: The trailer also hints that we will not only be able to embody humans but also other races. For instance, a bird-like Gek can be seen, which is controlled by a player. It seems therefore that we can at least play as the Gek. Whether other alien races like the Vy’keen or Korvax are playable remains unclear. It is also unknown whether there will be advantages and disadvantages to playing as a different race or if it is merely a cosmetic option.
More interesting planets: Even though previous updates have already made planets in NMS more varied, you can expect even more interesting worlds with the NEXT update. Redesigned textures, better clouds, more inviting water, and planets with rings make exploration more exciting.
Bases underwater: One scene in the trailer shows a base that is located underwater. It is unclear whether this is an NPC station or a base that players can actually build in the ocean. So far, it has been possible to build structures underwater using tricks, but these would automatically fill with water. However, NEXT could provide the option to actually construct usable bases in the ocean or at the bottom of lakes.
Mechs and third-person perspective: Another sequence in the trailer raises the question of whether controllable mechs might find their way into the game. At least such a possibility is hinted at. However, it is certain that the update will introduce the third-person perspective.
More interesting aliens: Briefly in the trailer, a creature that appears to be a giant gecko is seen. Two players are fighting the creature. Apparently, we will discover creatures on the planets that are significantly more interesting than what the fauna of the worlds had to offer so far.
NEXT brings what fans want: According to the trailer, NEXT seems to turn No Man’s Sky into almost a new game. The cooperative play between multiple players alone will bring a profound change that will alter the entire dynamic of NMS. Additionally, the planets and creatures will be more interesting, making exploration more exciting.
NEXT could truly lead to No Man’s Sky finally becoming the game that many expected from the beginning. However, Hello Games is still holding back on official information, so much remains speculation. On July 24, we will know more. Then the big update will be released.
