The action-packed God MOBA SMITE is getting a new playable goddess. Her name is Pele and she is the goddess of fire, dance, wind, and volcanoes. In Hawaiian mythology, she is the creator of the island and is said to be an incredible beauty.
HiRez Studios provided us with this video exclusively for the first release. Here you can catch a first glimpse of the Flame Goddess.
Pele in Mythology
The video depicts Pele’s backstory: Pele is a Hawaiian goddess who is highly respected and revered there in Hawaii. People approach her with awe, for Pele holds the flames of a volcano.
With her fire, she is a creator and cares for her people. However, she is also known for erupting like a volcano and destroying everything that stands in her way and the way of those she loves.
Pele is emotional: The goddess constantly struggles with her emotions. Her actions are often driven by anger and jealousy. Thus, Pele’s story is also filled with violent events, where she doesn’t even hold back from her siblings. Her fiery temperament sometimes leads her to act hastily and rashly. She quickly makes judgments and takes action.
Pele in SMITE
The goddess will be an explosive assassin: As the volcano goddess, Pele primarily has fiery area attacks and will have a movement ability that works with fuel instead of a cooldown.
The last god in SMITE was Achilles, with this famous heel:
In PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds (PC, Xbox One, iOS, Android), the popular streamer Shroud is being followed by a fan. However, it’s not a stream sniper but a stream singer. But he doesn’t have much success with it in PUBG.
In PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds (PUBG), stream sniping is a problem. This means that other players follow a well-known streamer and kill or harass him. In the controversial case of Dr. Disrespect, during such an event, cars were honking loudly for a long time: the stream honking.
However, there are also cases where such stream stalkers have good intentions and want to make their favorite streamer happy.
Serenade for Shroud
Make Songs, not War: The well-known PUBG streamer Shroud has some stream snipers who follow and harass him. But a particular player is always welcome to him. This player is Flawks.

He follows Shroud and hides until the end of a round. Just before the end, he then approaches Shroud unarmed. What follows is unusual. Flawks then begins to sing well-known songs and plays along with a ukulele!
Singer mocks stream sniper: Flawks has already pulled off his crazy serenade action twice. The first time he sang “We are the Champions” by Queen and the second time “Country Roads” by John Denver.
However, he only sang the melody, which he accompanied on his ukulele. He used only the words “Wadu” and “Hek”. This is a notorious stream sniper who often targets Shroud, is now a successful streamer himself, and hardly says anything else but “Wadu Hek”.

As a thank you, there’s a pan to the head or a shot in the face: In both cases where Flawks and Shroud meet, it goes as follows. Flawks sings, the streamer Shroud enjoys it, making positive emotes to the song. And in the end, he kills the singer with the pan or shoots him with the sniper rifle. Then Shroud gets the chicken dinner. But Flawks seems to be okay with that. And a frying pan or a shot from Shroud is somehow a kind of recognition.
In Fortnite, the challenges for Week 3 have once again been revealed ahead of time. At least some of the challenges are now known.
Update: The specific challenges for Week 3 of Season 5 are now online at this link. Here you can find our detailed guide.
Datamining offers info: The dataminers behind the Twitter account Storm Fortnite Leaks have dug through the data and found the anticipated tasks for Week 3 of Season 5. However, this time not all information seems reliable. Epic seems to be using placeholders again to build excitement.
Season 5, Week 3 – The 7 Tasks of the Week!
The following 7 challenges are due in Week 3 of Season 5. The first three tasks can be approached without a Battle Pass. However, the remaining four require the pass for 9.50 euros. Completing four tasks awards an additional 5,000 experience points.
Optimal for upgrading skins like Drift or Ragnarok. Initially, it was unclear from the datamining which tasks belong to the free and which to the paid categories. More information is now available, and we have updated the list.
These are the 3 free tasks from Week 3
These tasks are free-for-all:
Deal damage to opponents (1,000): This task should be easy to complete. Simply dealing damage is not a big deal.
Use a launch pad (1): If this task applies, it is practically a freebie.
Follow the treasure map from Flush Factory – HARD (3): As usual, you should find a map at the toilet factory. This will mark a treasure.
These are the 4 Battle Pass challenges from Week 3
It is now also clear for which jobs you need the Battle Pass.
Shoot clay pigeons at different locations (5): Recently, clay pigeon stands have appeared in the game world. You should be able to complete this task starting Thursday at 10:00 AM.
Search chests at Fatal Fields (7): Fatal Fields is large and offers several chests. Thus, this task is feasible.
Eliminate opponents at Haunted Hills – HARD (3): Haunted Hills is small; you should quickly find opponents to eliminate there.
Eliminate opponents with explosive weapons – HARD (2): This task may indeed apply. If you still have the grenade challenge from Week 1 open, you can happily complete two challenges with one action.
Each of these weekly tasks gives you 5 stars in the Battle Pass of Season 5. For the challenging tasks, you even get 10 stars, guaranteeing a level in the pass!
More info on Thursday
However, we will probably learn what challenges await you in the 2nd week of Season 5 by Thursday at around 10:00 AM. We will write guides and articles about the challenges for you as soon as possible.
The War of Thorns, the pre-event, in World of Warcraft is not liked by all players. Many complain: That was just too little.
The official pre-event of World of Warcraft: Battle for Azeroth has started. The “War of Thorns” tells of Sylvanas’ attack on the tree Teldrassil, which ultimately ends in the destruction of the capital Darnassus. The quests for this stretch over several weeks, the first quests are now accessible. Numerous players are disappointed by this, as they find: That is too little content.
Only a handful of quests. The first phase of the event is relatively quick to handle. After about 10 quests, it comes to a halt; by the way, the quests will only be unlocked in the coming week. As a filler in between, there are a few world quests at Darkshore, which at least mean a nice upgrade for fresh characters at level 110. However, those who already have good equipment have little from the new world quests.
There used to be somehow more going on
Legion had more to offer. Especially the direct comparison with the pre-event of World of Warcraft: Legion is often made. Here there was not only a quest line, but also constant attacks from the Burning Legion across the world. Every few hours there were new attacks, and hundreds of players streamed to the zones where the Legion was active.
Fans want Twink bonuses. The most common complaint heard is that “Legion” provided an easy, effective way to quickly boost twinks to max level with the invasions. As a result, many players got their second and third characters to level 100 before the addon started. With Battle for Azeroth, there is no such option; there is only “catch-up” gear through world quests – and that only at max level.
On Reddit and in the official forums, there are many sarcastic and cynical statements, like “Wow, 30 minutes of quests and then another week of boredom – great pre-event!”
For some, the event is a fitting start to Battle for Azeroth
There are also positive voices: However, it must be said that many players are quite enjoying the pre-event so far, as it highlights experiences from two sides and introduces “harmoniously” into the new expansion. Moreover, the attacks of the Legion also disturbed some players who wanted to level “normally” in the old zones back then. This time, everything is just a bit calmer. The calm before the storm.
It should also be noted that the quests will continue in the coming weeks and will even culminate in the attack on Undercity for pre-orderers.
How do you like the War of Thorns as a pre-event so far? An outrageous disappointment? Or a fitting start that has only unfolded halfway?
In Fortnite (PC, PS4, iOS, Switch & Xbox One) a rescue operation recently failed spectacularly. Therefore, the developers erected a monument at the relevant location. Epic is so close to the fans that they maintain such insider jokes.
What is the rescue operation about? At the launch of Season 5 in Fortnite there was a pretty crazy rescue operation. The player Chappadoodle fell down a steep slope at the southern edge of the map. He survived the fall but could not climb back up the cliff. Then Muselk, a well-known streamer, made his appearance. He could have simply shot Chappadoodle but preferred to rescue him.
Streamer wants to help: He worked hard to build ramps and stairs down. But just before the end, he couldn’t proceed, probably due to the unfavorable terrain. For Chappadoodle, rescue was within reach. Therefore, Muselk fetched a golf cart and wanted to push him down. The roofs of the carts are trampolines. With that, Chappadoodle would have made the saving jump.

A failed rescue: But unfortunately, Muselk only made things worse. The cart went out of control, crashed down the slope, smashed into poor Chappadoodle and completely hurled him off the map, leading to his demise! That might have been the most spectacular kill Muselk has ever made – especially since it was an accident!
Epic immortalizes Chappadoodle
The developers at Epic are always in touch with the community and respond to popular trends. Therefore, they have now marked the spot where Chappadoodle met his unexpected end with a memorial.
Memorial and jumping aid: Anyone who now reaches the site will see a tombstone as a memorial for poor Chappadoodle. And to ensure that his tragic fate is not repeated, a stack of tires has been placed next to the tombstone. The tires serve as a springboard. This way, one can free oneself if stuck on the cliff and has at least some building materials.
The death of Chappadoodle was not in vain! He changed the Fortnite map forever.
The communication regarding the Lucky Pokémon in Pokémon GO was unclear from the developers. This frustrates many fans. They say they have “wasted” Pokémon for trading.
New Lucky Pokémon: The new update for Pokémon GO brings the feature for Lucky Pokémon. These are monsters that can be obtained through trading. The special thing about them is that they require significantly less Stardust for Powering Up.
Clumsy announcement: In the patch notes of the new update that appeared in the PlayStore or Google-Store, the team writes: “When Pokémon are traded, there is a chance that both traded Pokémon will become Lucky Pokémon.” Due to this announcement, many trainers believed that the feature would be active after installing the update. However, that was not the case.
Trainers traded wildly and are disappointed
After trainers installed the update, they quickly traded Pokémon with their friends. After all, they wanted to receive the announced Lucky Pokémon. It was not until 6 hours after the announcement of the update that Niantic clarified that the feature is not yet active.

Exchanged for nothing? Many trainers who traded Pokémon after the announcement to receive Lucky Pokémon are angry. Because there is still no possibility to obtain such Pokémon. The feature will be activated later. On Twitter, they let their frustration run free.

What went wrong: Niantic should have made it clearer from the beginning that the new feature with the Lucky Pokémon would be activated later. Many tweets and the in-game announcement suggested that the feature would be active with the update. The announcement in the game is titled “Lucky Pokémon ready for new adventures”.
For the future, players hope that Niantic clearly states when features are delayed in being implemented into the game.
The Summer Twilight Fest in Monster Hunter World is almost over. But have you finished everything? We have created a checklist for you so you don’t miss anything.
When does the Summer Twilight Fest end? The event ends on July 26.
At what time does the event end? The exact time is unfortunately unknown. If you want to be safe, refer to the event start. That was July 13, at 12:00 AM. This could mean that it might already end tonight from July 25 to July 26 at 12 AM. Normally, events in Monster Hunter World end at 2:00 AM.
Don’t miss out: Below you will find an overview of what you should still do before summer in Astera ends again.
Gold Crowns, Thunderstones, Armors: Grab the rewards from all old and new events
All events from Monster Hunter World are here: For the duration of the summer festival, you can play all the old events. Here you also get special rewards that will make any hunter’s heart beat faster. For some quests, you are guaranteed to receive Gold Crowns or special armors like the cool sunglasses in Apple of My Eye.
Three new quests specifically for the summer festival: Three quests have not existed in the game before. They were released specifically for the event. They are:
USJ: Special Treatment: This quest was previously Japan-exclusive. Now you can also play the first part for the Azure Star armor in Germany.
Midnight Chaos: Here you can craft a new weapon, the Meteor Lance. The quest is in the arena, and you need to hunt ten Gastodon, which is not a huge challenge. The lance has a rarity of 4, has paralysis as an element, and has an attack of 299.
Gajalaka Outbreak: The quest is in the arena, and you need to defeat ten of the OP cats Gajalaka to receive the Butterfly Set as a reward.

Craft Summer Fest Gear: Diver, Butterfly, Ladybug, and Aloha Palico
Summer Twilight Tickets for these armors: To obtain the special event armors, you need the Summer Twilight Tickets. However, you can only get these as a daily login bonus.
If you still want these armors and are starting to collect now, you have no chance left. You can also exchange the tickets at the fusion table for fireworks and make it go off again – or save the tickets for the next Summer Twilight Fest. These tickets have no other use.
When you have collected enough tickets for the armors, you should redeem them before the event ends.
This is how many tickets you need for the armors:
Diver: 5 Tickets – This applies to both high and low rank
Aloha Palico: 3 Tickets – This applies to both high and low rank
The Diver Set costs 5 Tickets
Summer Insect Encyclopedia for Butterfly and Ladybug: For these event armors, you need to play the quest “Gajalaka Outbreak.”
Armor sets for women: Ladybug α & β / Armor sets for men: Butterfly α & β
Summer Outfits for the Wild Expert and Poogie
The Wild Expert’s outfit will disappear again: If you want to see your Wild Expert in a summer look, you need to change her costume now. After the Summer Twilight Fest, this costume will no longer be available to you, not even in the shop.
Poogie’s costume can be exchanged again: Poogie has dressed up nicely and put on his best summer hat. If you want to swap Poogie’s costume again, you just need to interact with the little pig.
What else is there to do?
The most interesting thing is actually to play the event quests and reap plenty of rewards. Here’s what else you can pay attention to:
Discount Days: There is currently a special ship in Astera where you can get many items on sale. Today is therefore still an opportunity to stock up on items.
New Gestures: There are new dances for the summer festival; however, these are paid and only available in the shop.
Seasonal Dish: If you want to quickly grind through a few quests before it’s over, make use of the seasonal dish. It does not consume any ingredients and will disappear after the event.
Have you completed everything you wanted to do, or are you going to give it one last push today?
With the new content patch 5.10, Epic has made several changes and innovations in Fortnite: Battle Royale. The building mode has been nerfed further, a new super weapon has been integrated, and the slurp juice has been improved. Not all changes are well received by the community. Why not?
With each update, Epic tweaks the meta: Just a few weeks ago, shotguns and pump guns dominated in double quantities, but the players’ preferred inventory has completely changed since then.
Submachine guns are the weapon of the hour. They are even effective at longer ranges. Weapons like assault rifles are considered out. Since the best defense is still an attack, many players push their opponents and dismantle them with melee weapons.
Not only the P90 clears the field – the standard SMG is strong too!
Changes to the building mode make the P90 even stronger
The building function has suffered: Building components now have less initial condition and can be destroyed faster. The P90 submachine gun particularly benefits from this, as it is the ideal spray weapon.
The P90 destroys several weapon classes: Due to its high DPS (damage per second), the P90 is extraordinarily strong against players. Furthermore, due to the reduced strength of building components, it is the perfect choice for destroying covers.
This circumstance affects several weapon classes:
Light machine guns now have no place in the meta – there is simply no reason to use them
Miniguns were supposed to be the fortifications destroyers – that place has now been taken by the P90
Assault rifles are increasingly being pushed out with each update, the drum gun and also the P90 take their place
Shotguns – shotguns and pump guns are no longer as effective as they were a few weeks ago
What is Epic’s motivation with all these changes? Fortnite: Battle Royale enjoys a large player base. Epic wants to provide all these players with a long-term frustration-free gaming experience. For this reason, heavily skill-oriented gameplay styles are being altered.
The reduction of the initial condition of building components can be seen as a clever move. Players who master the building mode perfectly can still build gigantic fortifications – only in direct combat are there effects on the building mode.
There is no question that the P90 submachine gun has shaken up the game significantly. Many players see it as a simple spray weapon that anyone can handle – regardless of personal skill.
Will Fortnite meet the Paragon fate? Of course not. The player numbers are not comparable, it is highly unlikely that the changes in patch 5.10 will drastically drop player numbers.
Of course, Epic must also be able to keep players entertained regardless of their individual skills in the future. The average player is numerically the most frequently represented – the strong players represent the community in the context of tournaments.
So far, Epic has managed to strike a balance between both player groups, which is quite an achievement with 125 million players.
Weapon balancing needs to be rethought: The P90 is currently too strong, as it renders several weapon classes useless at once. Either the P90 will be nerfed or other weapon classes will be buffed so they retain their “sweet spot,” or specific purpose.
For Honor was stamped as “dead” by many players as early as 2017. How does the online melee game fare in 2018? Is anyone still playing it?
Massive hype around For Honor: When I saw the first trailer for For Honor during E3 2015, I was bouncing excitedly in my seat. This could finally be a cool, realistic melee game, I thought. I envisioned my knight career, marching through the medieval setting, swinging swords and fighting for glory and honor.
Many other gamers felt the same way: “Goosebumps,” “Awesome,” or “I’ve been waiting for this for 10 years” were the first reactions expressed to the trailer. You can watch the world premiere trailer here:

The release in February 2017 was a great success for Ubisoft’s sword fighting epic. Even the beta phases set new records. There was a glorious and long future in sight for For Honor.
Massive criticism in 2017
But then everything changed. For Honor quickly revealed glaring weaknesses and problems. Players left the game early on. Social media and gaming magazines were full of criticism. After the hype came the sharp decline.
What problems did For Honor have?
The matchmaking and server infrastructure caused frustration. The peer-to-peer connections were too unstable. There were lags and disconnections.
The gear stats were unbalanced – especially Revenge caused discussions and had to be revised.
So my “For Honor” career went like many others: I went all out at the release of For Honor, often reaching my frustration limit, played the game for a few weeks, and shortly after all my friends gave up on For Honor and even resold it, I stopped as well. Sometime in April, I ended my For Honor journey.
The interest in For Honor from February 2017 to May 2017 did not noticeably increase with Season 2: Ubisoft resisted and publicly stated that reports about the player decline were “fake news. “ However, in the community, this statement was more perceived as if For Honor had failed and Ubisoft was too stubborn to admit that.
So For Honor limped along in the second half of 2017. Although some updates and new content came out, most of it appeared under the radar of gaming press.
How does For Honor fare in 2018?
Is For Honor entirely dead now? Is anyone still playing it in 2018?
No, For Honor is not dead. And yes, there are people playing it in 2018. For instance, me.
A few weeks ago, I checked in on For Honor again. Just out of curiosity to see if I can still handle my Orochi. And because I had nothing else to play.
And since then, I have been playing For Honor again with great enthusiasm!
The Shaman
I was then fully motivated to learn a new fighter – the Shaman – since the battles in For Honor are primarily about one’s own skill. Without studying the fighter’s abilities and having numerous practice matches, one will not be happy. You have to master your fighter and automate your movements to be successful.
And I was really looking forward to that again. I was pleasantly surprised to find that the matchmaking times are relatively short. I feared that I would be stuck in the player search forever – since “For Honor is dead.” But lo and behold, teammates are found quickly.
For Honor lives
Indeed, For Honor is now in 2018 in significantly better shape than it was in April 2017 – just two months after release. And the trend is upward!
The Steam charts reveal that For Honor currently has about 5,300 players online on Steam – on average. For comparison:
In February 2017, the release month, there were 28,000 average players.
In March 2017, there were 8,700.
In April 2017, there were 3,500 – significantly less than now.
In July 2017, there were only 1,250.
The bottom was reached in October 2017 with 1,180 average players,
Since 2018, there has been a clear upward trend:
In January 2018, For Honor had an average base of 2,100 players on Steam.
For Honor is in excellent health in 2018! Although Google interest is still low, it increased noticeably during E3 2018: There are players who are again interested in the future of For Honor.
For Honor does it like The Division
What are the reasons for the trend change? There are many reasons why it is worth playing For Honor again in 2018. Various fresh and free content has come in the form of new heroes, new maps, new modes, and new cosmetics. Ranked matches have been introduced, bugs and exploits have been fixed. Ubisoft worked on the gear system and the hero balance. An important innovation that enhances the quality of the gaming experience is the introduction of dedicated servers.
A development like The Division: It must be credited to the developers that they did not abandon For Honor but continuously improved and expanded it. Ubisoft also approached the much-criticized The Division similarly, which even the developers said was no longer fun. But then they addressed all the issues that players disliked, so today many agents still play The Division.
What is planned for For Honor in 2018?
No end is in sight: The developers are still releasing new cosmetic content and are still regularly hosting livestreams. The community is passionately involved, organizing tournaments – and growing.
A big update is planned for October 16, 2018: Marching Fire is coming and brings a new faction, new modes, and some improvements.

For Honor will continue to receive content in the future. And I am sure that I will check out Marching Fire in October. Because yes, someone is still playing For Honor in 2018.

Many fans will play FIFA 19 primarily online. We asked EA Sports what online players can particularly look forward to.
The online aspect is becoming increasingly important in the FIFA series. While the career mode was the centerpiece of FIFA for the last decade, the “Ultimate Team” mode, which requires a permanent internet connection and is mostly played online against other players, has taken on that role in recent years. Online modes such as Pro Clubs have also gained fans over the years.
FIFA 19 continues down this path: The online multiplayer component will be further expanded in FIFA 19. In this regard, we asked Samuel Rivera, the gameplay producer of FIFA, in an interview what specifically online players can look forward to. And although not all new modes and features of FIFA 19 are known yet, he provided a clear answer to our question.
EA Sports focuses on Competitive – and has listened to FIFA players
FIFA 19 will be more competitive: According to Rivera, the competitive area will be significantly expanded. This is the area related to competitions and the “1vs1” challenge. A lot of time has been invested in Competitive; it is a very important and growing aspect of the FIFA series. How this promise will be concretely implemented will be revealed throughout the summer.
The competitive modes are intended to ensure that players remain engaged and maintain their motivation in the long term. While offline modes can become monotonous over time, each match against a human player is a new challenge.
Gameplay will be designed according to community wishes: Furthermore, online players can look forward to fresh gameplay that aims to improve everything that was criticized in FIFA 18. EA Sports has taken note of the complaints, Rivera said.
They know exactly what the community wants and what they want to see differently.
Therefore, one can now look forward to all sorts of gameplay innovations in FIFA 19 that will give players more control and diversity on the field.
You will have more options to defeat your opponents in the match. Especially in online games, one can expect many surprises – but offline players also benefit from the changes, Rivera said. All these innovations are thanks to the players who discuss FIFA in online forums and particularly engage with the competitive area.
The gameplay innovation “Active Touch System” can be seen in this video:

The Whisper Mission in Destiny 2 excited large parts of the community. In addition to a new exotic sniper, there were numerous secrets to discover – possibly even more than previously thought. Two of them are currently causing heated debates.
By coincidence, a anomaly on IO was discovered last week. The associated Whisper Mission had taken the community by storm. After all, it allowed players to acquire Whisper of the Worm, the reincarnation of one of the most beloved and best sniper rifles from Destiny 1 – the Black Spindle from the Crota Raid.
But the underground area where the Whisper Mission takes place offers many secrets in addition to the new Whisper sniper. Some fans even dream of a possible return of the most beloved raid from Destiny 1.
Does an old mechanic and a Vex portal hint at the Vault of Glass?
In the underground area, fans encountered two peculiarities that sparked discussions about a potential return of the Vault of Glass. The Vault of Glass was the first raid in Destiny 1 and embodies, for many, the best raid in the game series so far.
The Oracle Mechanic: A significant clue is provided by one of the secret chests hidden in the mission. The chest can only be opened by shooting several waves of appearing melodic lights in a specific order at a certain location during the mission.
This mechanic is strongly reminiscent of the Oracle phase of the Vault of Glass. Accordingly, the knowledge gained from the first Destiny raid proved to be helpful in deciphering this puzzle.
The Vex Portal: In addition to the well-known mechanic from Vault of Glass, there is another discovery within the Whisper Mission that currently gives a boost to the hopes of fans for a possible return of the iconic raid.
Where the Oracles spawn, there is also a Vex portal. It currently has no real function – it cannot be entered. However, it is possible to look through the portal. Most fans agree: what can be seen on the other side is the Vault of Glass.
Is the Vault of Glass coming as a Remastered version? Some Guardians consider these aspects to be hints at a potential return of the beloved raid. After all, Bungie is known for placing such references deliberately.
However, a short mission within the original Vault of Glass, as was the case in Destiny 1, is conceivable in the eyes of many fans. It does not necessarily have to lead to the return of the raid.
Many fans are sure of this: The Vault of Glass will likely appear in some form in Destiny 2 eventually. Perhaps searching for further hints will even lead to discoveries in the Whisper Mission again. For now, however, it remains speculation. So far, there is no solid evidence.
Fortnite (PC, PS4, iOS, Switch & Xbox One) has significantly improved the Slurp Juice in the latest update 5.10. This backfired. Due to a bug, the item became overpowered and had to be removed.
The new Slurp Juice The Slurp Juice is a heal-over-time item that used to regenerate 25 health and shield points in about 30 seconds. Nice, but nothing groundbreaking. Therefore, fans suggested an improvement to the Slurp Juice, which was promptly accepted by Epic. Since update 5.10, the juice heals a total of 75 points, prioritizing health. Then it continues with the shields.
Unfortunately, that wasn’t the end of it.
Juice makes invulnerable!
Drinking to immortality: Unfortunately, the new Slurp Juice has a nasty bug. If you cancel the drinking animation, the healing buff still takes effect. However, you keep the juice. So you can keep sipping it and activate a permanent heal-over-time buff that gives you 2 health or shield points every second.

Juice initially removed: Therefore, the developers immediately pulled the emergency brake and removed the juice from the game. In a Reddit thread, the devs keep you updated. According to their own statements, they are diligently working on a fix and want to bring the juice back into the game as soon as possible.
C4 was gone, now it’s back
Another bug: Along with the Slurp Juice, the C4 explosive charge was also affected. It had the wrong explosion radius and had to be removed as well. However, the developers have now presumably repaired the remote explosives and patched them back into the game.
Let’s hope that the new Slurp Juice will also be released from the anti-bug treatment soon.

Crossplay and Buy2Play. Boundless will be released as a Buy2Play game, and there is no need to pay a monthly subscription fee. The developers have also announced that crossplay between PC and PS4 is possible. Players on PC and PlayStation 4 will therefore interact together in a vast universe.
If you want to look a bit unusual in the online game No Man’s Sky, you can change the appearance of the hero since the NEXT update.
Adjust Your Hero’s Appearance with NEXT
Just be ugly. In No Man’s Sky, since the release of the NEXT update, it is possible to play your hero from a third-person perspective and meet other players.
As a result, your appearance now plays a real role in No Man’s Sky for the first time. Not only do you want to know how other players look, but the appearance of your own character is important to many. Because the eye plays along. For this reason, the game now offers the option to customize your hero’s appearance. Some really bizarre options are possible.
Become an Alien. To change your hero’s appearance, visit the Appearance Modifier Terminal at a space station, where you can make adjustments. You can choose between different alien races:
Gek
Vy’keen
Korvax
Traveler
Anomaly
In addition, it is possible to choose even more options. These include:
Helmet
Head
Eyes
Beak
Shoes
Gloves
Backpack
Armor
All cosmetic. All the changes you can make to your hero are purely cosmetic. They have no effect on gameplay. For example, if you choose Gek as your race, you still don’t understand the language of those aliens and must learn it first. However, by customizing appearance, it is possible to stand out from other players as well as individualize your character according to your wishes.
The NEXT update for No Man’s Sky was released on July 24 and brought some new features and changes – including the ability to play with others.
The customization options for your character in video: Here you can see the sometimes bizarre options the new character editor of No Man’s Sky NEXT offers.

Shortly before the release of WoW: Battle for Azeroth, Blizzard is intensively promoting the new expansion. With new advertising, the company aims to encourage players to represent their faction in the battle for Azeroth. Check it out!
New commercials for BfA: The new WoW expansion Battle for Azeroth will be released on August 14, 2018. To build excitement before the launch, Blizzard is ramping up its advertising efforts. Blizzard has released four new commercials designed to get you excited for Battle for Azeroth.
“It matters” – It counts!
The commercials all focus on the conflict between Horde and Alliance. In Battle for Azeroth, the old feud is reignited and takes center stage in the expansion. The commercials play with this very theme.
Each spot speaks for itself and ends with the short sentence “It matters”. This refers to your loyalty to the Horde or the Alliance. It can even be conveyed without words; the images say enough.
“Rainy Day”: In the first clip, a romance is brewing. It’s raining, and one seeks shelter with someone who has an umbrella. Unfortunately, that person could potentially be your opponent on the battlefields of Azeroth…

The newly launched remake of the online shooter Defiance 2050 isn’t performing very well. Perhaps the PS4 version can turn things around here, which finally launches today in Germany.
Finally also for PS4 in Germany – 2 weeks delay
PS4 version also with us. Defiance 2050 launched on July 10 for PC, Xbox One, and PS4 – however, not for Sony’s console in Germany. Since then, players have been waiting for the re-release of Trion Worlds’ game to be available for download here. Now it’s finally here. Today, on July 25 at 10 AM, the shooter launches in Germany for PS4!
The development team has now stated that they are working on improvements and new features that will enhance the game:
Server stability will be improved
Connection issues will be contained
Some bug fixes are in progress
Critical bugs will be fixed as soon as possible
There will be new content in the form of coop missions
Coop maps are intended to provide more fun. With the new coop missions, players will get more content to enjoy playing with others. Team play is to be encouraged. When these missions will be introduced is still undecided. The priority right now is to get the issues of Defiance 2050 under control.
No free version of Defiance 2050 on PS4 in Germany
Shortly after the release of the German PS4 version, it became clear that it is not free as expected.
Developers’ explanation: Due to the USK-18 rating, the developers cannot offer Defiance 2050 in Germany as a F2P version for PS4. Currently, one must purchase one of the paid packages to play the game. They are working on releasing a cheaper option for the German market very soon.

Two mothers observed their sons playing Fortnite and reenacted the hilarious scenes through lip synchronization. The result is simply hilarious and has gone viral since its release. But see for yourself!
How often have you been shocked at yourself after a meltdown in Fortnite: Battle Royale? Imagine your parents capturing it all and then mocking you with it on YouTube. Sounds cruel? It is. Unfortunately (for the kids), it’s really funny!
“Mom! Stop blocking the internet connection!”
What Fortnite players really struggle with: Every Fortnite player has to deal with various existential worries. Should one land in Tilted Towers? Where did the opponent come from? And why is my mom taking up the entire internet bandwidth?
You may have heard these or similar statements more often (we would never say such a thing, of course). Two mothers recorded and reenacted the peculiar dialogues that only Fortnite players really understand.
But that’s not all: Even emotes were reenacted by the eager mothers – popcorn included. You can watch the result in the following video:

Dead? Blame the internet! Particularly amusing is a boy’s accusation of his mother for blocking the internet. The logical consequence of the slow connection: An opposing player sends him back to the lobby. Unfortunately, it was just mom standing in the kitchen and had nothing to do with the internet.
The boys’ reaction to the video is unfortunately not recorded. However, be cautious while gaming. You never know if someone is lurking with a camera somewhere.
Sylvanas calls for battle! In World of Warcraft, the first quests that will herald Battle for Azeroth are now accessible.
In exactly three weeks, on August 14, 2018, the release of World of Warcraft: Battle for Azeroth will take place. To bring players up to speed on the story, there is a small pre-event – the War of Thorns.
How to start the “War of Thorns” event in WoW
The first quests for the pre-event “War of Thorns” are active from today, July 25, 2018, in World of Warcraft! Just log into the game with a character at the maximum level and the quest should appear on its own.
Both factions are working against each other. Players of the Alliance must try to protect Teldrassil and gather the few remaining troops. Civilians must be rescued and the most must be made of the few resources, as the main force of the Alliance is on the other side of the world.
The Horde, on the other hand, is carving their way through Ashenvale and doing so quite brutally. First, Astranaar falls into their hands and serves as a new base from which they will move into Darkshore.
At the provisional end of the quest, there is a stalemate situation where both sides are waiting for reinforcements – even though the Horde’s are much closer.
World quests as fillers. To pass the time, there are world quests at Darkshore that offer solid gear. If you do not see the world quests immediately after completing the last quest, then log out of the game and back in. Also, make sure that you do not have outdated interface addons activated.
Keep in mind that at the very end of the questline, in the coming weeks, there will be an exclusive mount for both Horde and Alliance. Every player should at least complete the questline on one character to secure the mount.
How do you like the War of Thorns so far? Is this a worthy event for the start of Battle for Azeroth?
The new Overwatch hero Wrecking Ball is now playable on live servers on PC, Xbox One, and PS4. Read the patch notes for the Hammond patch in German!
Overwatch patch today brings Wrecking Ball and more: The patch highlight of the new Overwatch patch from July 24, 2018 is the new hero: Wrecking Ball (or as everyone calls him: Hammond). Along with the hamster, there are also nerfs for Hanzo, buffs for Sombra, and some other adjustments.
The patch notes for the Overwatch patch on July 24, 2018 in German
Wrecking Ball is an offensive, mobile tank that expands the hero pool of Overwatch. With abilities that allow him to scatter enemies quickly before he deals damage to them, he fits in as a new contender in the meta.
A note has been added to Sombra’s hero info about her ability to remove her teleporter.
The statistic “Shield generators destroyed” has been removed from career profiles.
Group search
A button has been added that allows you to enter the queue for the selected game mode after the group is full.
A button has been added to relist groups in the SN matchmaking browser when the group has empty role slots.
Hero Updates
Developer Comment: The goal of these changes is to reduce the impact of damage fall-off on weapons for medium range. When the fall-off mechanics were implemented, weapons that were particularly suited for short range had too much of an advantage.
General
Bastion
Configuration: Recon and Configuration: Sentry – The minimum damage at maximum range has been increased from 30% to 50%.
McCree
Peacekeeper – The minimum damage at maximum range has been increased from 30% to 50%.
Mei
Endothermic Blaster – The projectiles from the alternate fire mode no longer lose damage over distance.
Soldier 76
Heavy Pulse Rifle: The minimum damage at maximum range has been increased from 30% to 50%.
Widowmaker
Widow’s Kiss – The automatic fire mode now deals less damage at greater distance (50% of damage at maximum range)
Hanzo
Developer Comment: Hanzo’s kit has proven to be a bit too strong, especially the Storm Arrows. We are lowering the frequency with which he can use the ability, making it easier to play around them.
Developer Comment: The changes are intended to help Sombra play more easily as an infiltrator and scout for her team, as well as give her the ability to choose the timing of her appearance.
Camouflage
Now lasts indefinitely.
Sombra cannot contest objectives while cloaked.
The movement speed bonus has been reduced from 70% to 50%.
Teleportation
Now lasts indefinitely.
The Translocator can now be destroyed (5 hit points).
Radius reduced.
Map Updates
Developer Comment: In a previous patch, the respawn time for defenders was increased when attackers were outnumbered at certain map last points. We are making this system more aggressive so that fights in which defenders can come back quickly do not last as long.
Assault maps
The time to capture objectives has been reduced from 5 minutes to 4 minutes in quick matches and in the arcade.
If final objective points are contested on non-control maps for an extended period of time and attackers have a numerical advantage, the respawn time for defenders will increase even faster.
In Fortnite: Battle Royale, the faithful Battle Bus brings you into battle every time. That’s why many fans want to thank the bus driver of the Battle Bus and have even started a crazy petition for that.
The Battle Bus driver, an unsung hero: Every round of Fortnite begins with a bus ride. Just like in PvE mode, flying buses play a big role in the game. Instead of jumping out of a boring airplane like in PUBG and the like, you dive out of the floating party bus in Fortnite and from there down into the wild battle royale action.
But who tirelessly drives the bus day and night, 24/7? Who is this hero, and can’t we somehow thank him for his efforts?
Players want to honor the bus driver
The bus driver deserves our respect: Some players are fascinated by the unknown figure of the bus driver. They are extremely grateful to him for all the wonderful hours of battle royale they have experienced in Fortnite so far.
Therefore, they wish for a way to express their appreciation to the heroic bus driver. How exactly this should happen is still unclear. Ideas range from waving after jumping out to expressions of gratitude on the ground or transmitted and well-heard radio messages with words of praise. Perhaps even with a response from the grateful bus driver.
Players start petition to thank the bus driver
Petition with over 6,000 signatures: To make the developers at Epic realize how serious the bus driver fans are about their concerns, they have started an online petition on the platform change.org. There are now over 6,000 signatures collected there.
Considering that Epic often responds to fan requests, the petition might actually succeed in the end and the thank-you feature for the bus driver could officially come into the game.
