In Fortnite, developers Epic Games released a new skin for the shop. However, it was so buggy that it was removed from the game after just 6 hours. Buyers are now waiting for compensation.
What was the skin? It was the outfit “Grill Sergeant.” A skin with the rarity “green” (uncommon), which was sold today for 800 V-Bucks.
Data miners had found the skin months ago, but it was now in the shop for the first time.
What was the problem with the skin?
The skin was not visible to most players in the shop at all.
If someone somehow purchased it, a different skin appeared in the confirmation box.
Those who equipped it became practically invisible in the game. They had no body, only a floating head with the face of Jonesy.
This is how Epic Games reacted: Epic reacted hard and fast. About six hours after the skin went live, the following happened:
The skin disappeared from the shop and was replaced by the “Recon Scout Skin.”
Additionally, Epic removed the skin from all player accounts.
Currently, players have not been refunded the V-Bucks they paid for it.
What does Epic say? Epic has currently only posted a short tweet acknowledging the problems. They plan to reach out when there is more information available.

Surely we will learn whether and when the strange skin returns, and what the compensation looks like. Epic is usually generous in such matters.
The Grill Sergeant is, by the way, the skin that is converted by the Tomato Sect in Fortnite (featured image).
When will we learn more? As soon as we learn more about the skin and what compensation is available, we will report it here on Mein MMO, likely even in this article. If you don’t want to miss any Fortnite news, subscribe to our dedicated Facebook page with 100% Fortnite.
In Pokémon GO the Ultra Bonus will soon be unlocked, bringing Mewtwo and more legendary and regional monsters in eggs.
What’s new? Niantic has finally announced how the Ultra Bonus will affect Pokémon GO. And it’s extremely generous, helping trainers with regional Pokémon, legendary monsters, and more.
Articuno, Zapdos, and Moltres as Shinies
When will the legendary Pokémon arrive? Starting September 13 at 10:00 PM, you can encounter the three legendary birds Articuno, Zapdos, and Moltres again in Pokémon GO gyms.
How long will they stay? They will remain in the game for one week, until September 20 at 10:00 PM.
Even as Shiny: If you’re lucky, you can catch these three legendary birds in their shiny forms. So, be sure to participate in the raids and battle the bosses together. Those who had no luck on the last Articuno, Zapdos, or Moltres days will now have another chance to catch these rare monsters.
More Kanto spawns: Additionally, Pokémon from the Kanto region will appear more frequently worldwide and in raids until September 30.
What’s new? Until now, only trainers who received an EX Raid invitation could battle Mewtwo. But this is changing now. As many players suspected, the Ultra Bonus is related to Mewtwo. It will be made available to all trainers in raid battles for a limited time.
What does that mean? Every trainer can battle and catch Mewtwo for a short period. The condition is that the trainer can participate in raids in Pokémon GO.
How long will Mewtwo stay? Mewtwo will be unlocked in raid battles on September 20 at 10:00 PM. It will remain until October 23. Make sure to take advantage of this opportunity and secure the monster for your collection.
Tauros, Mr. Mime, Kangaskhan – Regional monsters from eggs
What’s new? Regional Pokémon were originally only found in specific parts of the world in the wild. With the Ultra Bonus, some of the regional monsters will appear from 7KM eggs.
Which monsters? Mr. Mime, Kangaskhan, Tauros, and Snorlax will be available in the 7KM eggs in Pokémon GO until the end of September, in addition to the Alolan monsters.
How do I get them? Send many gifts to your friends so you can receive the 7KM eggs and hatch the special regional monsters. This feature will likely go live on September 13 at 10:00 PM. Keep in mind that only the eggs you receive after the event starts will count.
Summary of the events:
Pokémon from the Kanto region will appear more frequently from September 13 to 30.
Regional Pokémon will hatch from regional eggs, available starting September 13 at 10:00 PM (start of this event is uncertain).
Raid battles with Articuno, Zapdos, and Moltres will start from September 13 and will be active until September 20.
Chance to catch shiny variants of the 3 birds.
Mewtwo will be available as a boss in the raids from September 20 without an EX Raid invitation. The monster will remain in the raids of Pokémon GO until October 23.
League of Legends (LoL) introduces the new co-op PvE mode Odyssey. It also brings new skins into the game.
Starting soon: The new mode Odyssey launches on September 12 in League of Legends.
What happens in the trailer? In the featured trailer, Jinx explains that she would like to have you on her crew. Together, you will free Ziggs from an alien planet.
New mode, new skins
How does the mode work? The co-op mode is designed for teams of five players. There are five difficulty levels.
With RPG elements: During your matches, you collect “Augments” that improve your champions’ strength. This should allow you to successfully complete the higher difficulty levels. These augments are said to last permanently for the Odyssey mode and do not get lost.
What new skins are there? Look forward to skins for Ziggs, Sona, Jinx, Yasuo, and Malphite. There’s also a legendary skin for Kayn.
Testing will be skipped: Normally, such events are sufficiently tested on the PBE servers, but Odyssey is coming with patch 8.18 on September 12. So, they hope everything goes smoothly and works without bugs.
How long will the mode be available? Odyssey will be active in League of Legends from September 12 to October 8.
So far, there are unfortunately no in-game images of the new Odyssey mode. Riot seems to want to keep everything secret for now and then reveal the surprise on Wednesday.
With the Forsaken expansion, the max level of your character in Destiny 2 has been raised. The path to the maximum power level has also changed significantly. We show you how to quickly and efficiently reach the maximum level of 600.
Forsaken brings a lot of new features: With the release of the Forsaken expansion, new level caps have been introduced. The maximum character level has been raised from 30 to 50. The new power level cap is now 600.
The new soft cap: The journey to the maximum level has also seen some changes. The new soft cap is now at power level 500. This is a sort of limit. Players level up relatively quickly up to this point. Loot up to power level 500 can be found almost everywhere.
After that, progress becomes slower when simply playing through the game. You can only advance in power level through specific activities and rewards.
We show you what the fastest way to level up looks like and what you need to pay attention to in order to use your resources as efficiently as possible.
Why is the power level important? The power level not only increases your offensive and defensive capabilities – as your level rises, you can participate in more challenging endgame activities, such as the Nightfall strike or the new Forsaken raid “Last Wish”, earning yourself more attractive and valuable loot.
[toc]
How to Reach Character Level 50
The path to the new maximum level is divided into two parts:
First, you need to raise your character to level 50 and increase your power level to 500.
Once you reach the soft cap, the way upward is clear. Then you chase the 600.
How to Increase Your Character Level: The character level increases “along the way.” You need to collect experience points, which can be gained from various sources. Defeat enemies, complete activities, and play in Destiny 2 what you enjoy the most. While you follow the steps to reach power level 500, you also get closer to character level 50.
Character Boost for New Players: If you are completely new to Forsaken, you can use the character boost. This allows you to raise a new (or existing) character to a power level of 320. This way, you can start playing Forsaken right away.
You can find the option in the character selection menu next to each character slot.
How to Reach Power Level 500 in Destiny 2
Generally, just play the game:
It’s best to start with the Forsaken story. The missions will reward you with plenty of loot during your first steps and provide a steady level progression. And procrastination is not advisable. You won’t receive items over power level 500 from the story.
If you play in a group, use fireteam medallions whenever possible.
If you have a story mission that should be too hard for you, switch to other activities.
Participate in Public Events: Public events are still one of the best ways to obtain loot and XP. However, note that the experience gain from public events has been reduced, while it has been increased in strikes and Nightfall. Strikes now provide more for leveling up than before with Forsaken and should also be considered.
Don’t worry about infusing: Don’t stress about infusing until you reach the soft cap of 500. Infusing has become noticeably more expensive. It’s not worth starting early. You’re still receiving enough loot regularly that will help you progress anyway.
Use your tokens: Don’t redeem your Vanguard and Crucible tokens too early and not all at once. Wait until you reach character level 50, if possible. But don’t wait too long, as relevant rewards won’t exceed power level 500.
Not at 500 yet? If by the end of the story you are not yet at character level 50 and power level 500, complete all available bounties from Spider. These will generously reward experience points upon completion. Additionally, there is often legendary loot available up to 500. Public events and strikes can also help on the final stretch.
Wait to earn powerful gear: The challenges will provide you with legendary loot up to character level 50. After that, they will be replaced with activities that can offer powerful gear as rewards. So if you can already acquire powerful gear but are not yet at power level 500 – wait. After reaching the soft cap, there are limited sources for loot that will continue to advance you towards 600.
These loot sources scale with you up to power level 500:
Blue and purple drops from enemies
Decrypting legendary engrams
Rewards from vendors such as Zavala, Shaxx, or the gunsmith
Completing activities like public events, lost sectors, strikes, or crucible matches
Opening loot chests
How to Reach Max Power Level 600 in Destiny 2
Once you reach power level 500, the sources of loot that will advance you in power level will reduce. From now on, you will need to focus on powerful gear. This will help you progress further in varying strengths.
Legendary engrams and standard loot are capped at power level 500 and will scale down to 10 to 20 levels below your current level depending on the source.
Sources of Powerful Gear that Scale to 600
The most relevant challenges will be indicated by glowing yellow star symbols in the planetary overview when available. Choosing a marker will show a tooltip with the respective weekly and daily challenges.
Shaxx quest “1 PvP match with a complete armor set”
Gambit quest “1 gambit match with a complete armor set”
Other Sources:
Primus engrams. Initially, it was believed that these engrams drop daily. But it seems they are obtained randomly.
Rank-ups in the crucible
Rank-ups in gambit
Exotic engrams
Important: If you master activities that are well above your power level and reward powerful gear, you will be rewarded according to the items’ high power levels.
Note: According to initial user reports, there seems to be another soft cap at power level 520. Powerful rewards from some activities (daily and weekly, except for Nightfalls and the Dreaming City) that previously offered +5 power levels will only provide +1 power levels from 520 onwards. Whether there are further soft caps and how raid loot behaves beyond that remains to be seen.
How do I get to 600 now? Your primary goal now is to complete the relevant challenges within the constraints of the weekly and daily limits. This way, you can gradually work towards the new power level cap of 600 day by day and week by week.
Do you have any other valuable tips for making your way to power level 600? Let us know in the comments section.
In FIFA 19, the ratings of the top 30-21 best players are known. These fresh player ratings include Hummels, ter Stegen, Salah, Dybala, and Co.
New ratings from the best players: In FIFA 19, the big “Top-100 Countdown” is running. This gradually reveals the best players in FIFA 19 by unveiling EA Sports’ ratings and stats in the Ultimate Team mode, in FUT 19,.
Today, on September 10th, the next 10 player ratings were released – the top 30 to 21. We are approaching the top ten.
The highest player ratings in FUT 19 – Top 30 to 21
Rank 30: Coutinho (88)

Rank 28: Marcelo (88)
Rank 27: Mohamed Salah (88)
Rank 26: Isco (89)
Rank 25: Marc-André ter Stegen (89)
Rank 24: David Silva (89)
Rank 23: Mats Hummels (89)
Rank 22: Edinson Cavani (89)
Rank 21: Paulo Dybala (89)

ter Stegen makes a big leap forward. In FUT 18, he started with an overall rating of 85 and received an upgrade to 87 in winter. In FUT 19, he starts directly with 89.
Mats Hummels started in FUT 18 with 88 and improved to 89. In FUT 19, he starts directly with 89. His stats are almost identical to his winter upgrade card in FUT 18, with only his physicality dropping by one point.
Other highlights:

Isco makes a fairly large leap from 86 in FUT 18 to 89 in FUT 19.
Every year before the release of a new FIFA title, EA Sports makes extensive changes to the player ratings.
What are the benefits of ratings? The ratings generally determine how well a player performs on the pitch. An important indicator is the overall rating, but individual stats like pace or shot power are also crucial when choosing players for your team.
In short: The best players have the highest ratings in FIFA 19.
The significance for FUT 19: For the Ultimate Team mode, the player ratings that EA determines at the FIFA 19 release are particularly interesting, as these are applied to the standard cards of the players. The standard cards remain unchanged for months, if not the entire year, and are essential to the FUT experience.
Therefore, many fans are already excitedly looking forward to the ratings of the best players and the stats of their favorite players in FIFA 19. After all, they will spend much time with these players in the game.
A skin has appeared in the item shop of Fortnite: Battle Royale, which is currently causing discussions among fans. What is special about the Powerchord skin and why does the rocker divide a community?
New, old skin in the item shop of Fortnite: The Powerchord skin is a guitar-wielding lady with pink hair. She is back in the Fortnite shop. The skin is of legendary rarity and accordingly expensive: 2,000 V-Bucks or equivalent to 20 euros must players pay for the virtual ramp diva.
The appearance of the skin causes irritation: So far, so normal, one might think. In fact, the appearance of the skin does not bring cheers everywhere. Because the rocker is extremely rare and is available in the shop for the second time only.
The rocker made her debut back in March 2018 and hasn’t been seen since. There have been two contradicting movements in recent months:
For months, some Fortnite fans have been demanding that Epic bring the Powerchord skin back. Under every official tweet from Epic, one reads these demands.
Many players had derived from the rarity of the skin that this would never be available again.
As it turns out, those who called “Bring back Powerchord” have won.
Those who bought it back then fear for the exclusivity: Players who acquired the Powerchord skin in March could at least boast for 6 months of having the skin “exclusively”. At least until now.
Since then, the player numbers of Fortnite have exploded further, so correspondingly more players will now want to grab and acquire the Powerchord skin.
Much to the chagrin of the original buyers.
Is Powerchord just the beginning? Players think: If the Powerchord skin is already available again, what does that mean for the arguably most sought-after skin of all – the Skull Trooper?
Powerchord-Skin shows: Nothing is exclusive or unique
Is the Skull Trooper also coming back now? Most likely. The Skull Trooper was only available during the Halloween event in October and November 2017. Many players hesitated to buy at that time, as the groundbreaking and especially lasting success of Fortnite: Battle Royale was not foreseeable.
Skull Trooper (Epic – Halloween)
Those who bought it back then now fear a flood of skeleton warriors, which would massively devalue the skin according to last year’s buyers. Is this fear justified? Of course not.
All skins in the shop can return: Only skins that are earned through purchasable Battle Passes and skins offered in corresponding starter packs will likely remain exclusive.
Also, the Twitch Prime skins distributed in cooperation with Twitch will probably never be available for individual purchase; all others will be.
If you acquire a skin from the item shop of Fortnite: Battle Royale, you must reckon that Epic will offer it for purchase again at a later date, whether players like it or not.
What do you think about this discussion? Can you understand the frustration of those who bought some rare skins and hoped they would remain exclusive?

The Stardust Event in Pokémon GO is coming to an end, and the Ultra Bonus is announced to start probably today.
End of the Stardust Event: Today, on September 10 at 10:00 PM, the Stardust Event ends. It was active for a week after players unlocked it through worldwide catch challenges.
Beginning of the new event: At the same time, Niantic announces today the Ultra Bonus, which is the reward for the Summer Tour 2018. This is also expected to be an event.
The Ultra Bonus is particularly mysterious because the Pokémon GO developers have not revealed too much about it yet. It is clear that this bonus will be announced today, on Monday. What it entails is unclear.
Many speculations: Since Niantic itself did not explain much about the bonus, players speculated what it could be. Is it a Mewtwo Day, where all trainers get the chance to catch this Pokémon? Others suspect an Ultra Event that combines, doubles, and activates the bonuses from previous events (candies, XP, and Stardust).
“During the Dortmund Safari Zone in June, the Pokémon GO Fest in July, and the Safari Zone in Yokosuka in August, trainers from all over the world have dedicatedly and enthusiastically completed a variety of research projects for Professor Willow and thereby unlocked an Ultra Bonus Event.” A special announcement is expected today, on September 10.
When will it be announced? Sometime during the day, Niantic will release more information about this special Ultra Bonus. The community is already very excited about this event and looks forward to the information from Niantic.
In Destiny 2 Forsaken, Exotics are rare. Here you can find out how to obtain exotic engrams.
Exotics as a scarce resource: After being flooded with exotic items in year 1 of Destiny 2, Forsaken handles Exotics quite stingily. Numerous Guardians report that they haven’t received a single Exotic even after days in year 2.
This is why Exotics are now so rare: While you can still guarantee Exotics from exotic quests, like from the Pikass, the drop rates for exotic engrams have been significantly reduced. The item “Three of Coins”, which increased the exotic drop chance, is no longer available.
Exotic engrams are now so rare that many Guardians wonder how to even get them.
Sources for exotic engrams in Forsaken
The confirmed sources for possible exotic engrams so far:
Random drops from any enemies (in open worlds, in the Blind Well, in Lost Sectors, in Strikes, etc.). Usually from enemies with yellow and orange health bars, but also possible from red.
Weapon Master (when redeeming Weapon Master materials with him and opening the reward)
Completion of activities, such as heroic adventures, Gambit matches, Crucible matches, etc.
When ranking up in PvP or Gambit
When completing loot pursuits
In chests, like those from high-ranking targets
It seems that nearly all activities and enemies in Destiny 2 can drop exotic engrams – however, the chances are extremely low. Additionally, you cannot influence whether you receive new Forsaken Exotics or old Exotics from year 1.
Currently, we do not have a farming method. There are individual users who swear that you should activate two fireteam medallions simultaneously before playing activities and especially before receiving powerful gear. This would considerably increase the chances for Exotics. Other users report that they have had medallions active for hours and still have not received any Exotics. Fireteam medallions can be obtained from Tess Everis on page 2 of the inventory for 50 Glimmer.
The best tip seems to be: Play as much as possible. Defeat enemies, master activities – because each time you have a small chance of receiving an engram.
How rare Exotics are can be seen by looking at the trophies of Forsaken. Currently, on September 10th, 0.0% of all PS4 players have collected ten exotic items from Forsaken. So, six days after release, no one on PS4 has managed to collect ten of the new Exotics.
If you want to see some exotic engrams drop in Destiny 2 Forsaken, you can watch the video from MoreConsole here. He has collected the Exotic drops of his followers:

Perhaps the new raid “Last Wish” will be a good source for Exotics. Or future seasonal events. However, the chance of Exotics at the moment is quite low.
By the way: When you pick up exotic engrams from the ground, they are immediately decrypted. You don’t have to run to the Cryptarch first.
From which sources have you already received exotic engrams in Forsaken? Let us know in the comments.

Recent figures show that Pearl Abyss earns about three times as much money with the mobile version of the MMORPG Black Desert than with the PC version.
Are mobile players more willing to spend than PC players? Looking at what Pearl Abyss earns from Black Desert Mobile, it seems to be the case.
Mobile version of Black Desert is very successful
This is how much Pearl Abyss earns with Black Desert: A revenue report reveals that Black Desert Online generated a revenue of $26.3 million in the second quarter of 2018. During the same period – and this is only in Korea – the game studio generated a revenue of $73.5 million with the mobile version of Black Desert.
Of this, $46.1 billion was solely from mobile game revenues.
About $33.6 billion was spent on console games.
And approximately $29.4 billion for PC games.
Moreover, the mobile games market continues to grow steadily and is expected to account for at least half of all video game revenues by 2020.
Why do mobile players spend more money? The figures show that the purchasing power in the mobile gaming sector is very high. Players seem to be more willing to buy in-game currency for a few euros. This may also be related to the fact that mobile players come from a broader target group, including casual gamers and many young people.
On PC, however, hardcore gamers dominate. Getting these players to spend money in an in-game shop is significantly harder than for mobile players.
Moreover, a whole generation of gamers is growing up with in-app purchases. For young players who are growing up with mobile games, microtransactions are the standard payment method. Older players, on the other hand, grew up with buy-to-play titles or subscriptions and are more skeptical towards in-game shops.
First images of the new Snow Map for PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds have surfaced. Details about its size have also been confirmed.
Map already announced: Since E3 2018, we know that PUBG will receive another map this year. The theme of the map is icy, with snow, towers, and a dinosaur maze awaiting you.
News from data mining: While examining the PUBG files, data miners noticed that the first drafts and towers of the new map are already present in the code. The images have been shared with the community.
Snow Map size likely at 6×6
This is what the map looks like: The map consists of two parts, which are likely separated by a river. The northern side of the map appears to be frozen, allowing you to walk to the other part of the map. However, there are several other crossings, presumably bridges, connecting the two landmasses.
Map size between Erangel and Sanhok: PUBG Chief Brendan Greene already confirmed that the Snow Map will be somewhere between the size of Erangel/Miramar (8×8) and Sanhok (4×4). Counting the grid boxes shows that the map is 8×8, but the landmass is 6×6 – so it’s a middle ground between the previous maps.
On which playlist will the map appear? Since this size is exactly in the middle, it is unclear whether you can select it in the “Battle Royale” or “Mini Royale” playlist.
Name revealed: In the lower image of the map overviews, you will find the name of the map: Dihor Otok. However, this name and this drawing are only leaked and not the final result. This could change by the time of release.
Further details about Dihor Otok have surfaced
Data mining has revealed further details such as C4 or old buildings. Apparently, the new map includes stone walls, towers, and gates. Possibly even a castle? A maze called “Dino Park” was also found.
Is a night mode planned? Special weather conditions have been extracted from the data. Now fans are hoping that the long-desired night mode will finally be implemented. The reason for this is the file “Weather_Night.umap”.
New vehicle is a Beetle: A new map also needs a new vehicle. For the PUBG flair, it should be as old as possible, perhaps a bit run-down. This car fits perfectly into the picture:
When will it come? The discovery of data in the code shows that work is progressing rapidly. The map is expected to be released sometime in 2018. More details about the release date are yet to come. There is hope for a soon-to-be-released test server.
In Fallout 76 there will be events among many other tasks. What these events are about and how they work, you will find out here with us.
Fallout 76 aims to be a real RPG despite its online and survival elements, keeping you entertained with tasks. This includes not only regular quests but also multiplayer events that will keep appearing. What are these events all about? We summarize all new information for you.
Multiplayer Quests as Events in the Game World
How do these events work? Bethesda gives an example of such an event mission. You receive a call about robots in distress and are tasked with escorting them. If they are still alive at the end, you will receive a reward.
The robots are supposed to be very lively and make some comments about the destination. A narrative component is also supposed to be included.
Such events can randomly occur again and again. However, there are also events that send you to a specific location.
Do you have to be in a group? You do not necessarily have to be in a group to complete such an event. Either other players join you or they do not.
Is there PvP during these events? No, PvP will be disabled during these missions. So you do not have to worry about troublemakers.
What is the reward for such events? No further information has been provided. According to Bethesda, the best loot is among the possible rewards for such events.
Many Quests – Even Without Dialogues and Human NPCs
In general, Bethesda commented on the design of the quests in Fallout 76.
How are the quests supposed to be presented to the player? Through robots and tapes, there are enough opportunities to integrate real quests.
Additionally, there are stories that can be told through the game world. Similar to Skyrim, you can simply receive a quest to investigate a mine by walking past it. This makes it unnecessary to have human NPCs.
Bungie wanted to eliminate the shader problem with the advertised mass deletion in Forsaken. However, the feature does not work as fans had hoped. Deleting shaders still annoys many Guardians in Destiny 2.
A feature that has been continuously requested by the community since the release of Destiny 2 was the mass deletion of shaders. The feature is here now, but it still presents difficulties.
The shader mass deletion that isn’t really a deletion
What is the problem with shaders? When all 50 inventory slots for shaders are filled, you have to delete some, as otherwise, you can’t accept new ones.
Since the least popular shaders pile up relatively quickly and flood the inventory, players want to be able to remove them quickly from their inventory.
Deleting shaders takes time: But it took forever in Year 1 of Destiny 2. Until recently, shaders could only be deleted individually – even if you had a proud collection in the high hundreds. Many fans were exasperated: Deleting shaders is not necessarily one of the most enjoyable activities in a Guardian’s life, yet it consumes a tremendous amount of time.
According to a statistic released by Bungie in August, Guardians had dismantled a staggering 807,635,124 shaders since the launch of Destiny 2 until August 2018. That’s equivalent to 25 years spent deleting shaders.
It’s only too understandable that many prefer to engage in other activities in the game.
What does Forsaken do differently with shaders?
Forsaken was supposed to solve the shader problem: Forsaken was meant to put the issue in the past – at least according to Bungie. While they did not revert to the Destiny 1 system where shaders could be used infinitely and for free upon obtaining them, they at least promised fans a mass deletion of shaders.
The introduction of collections, from which already obtained shaders can be drawn infinitely, was supposed to provide additional convenience.
Mass deletion different than expected: But deleting works differently than fans had hoped. It is only possible to delete shaders in stacks of 5 – and not the total amount.
While this speeds up the deletion process a little, for many Guardians with a large collection of unwanted shaders, it can still take a huge amount of time.
March to the Cryptarch necessary: On top of that, you also need to visit the Cryptarch in the Tower for this. From the inventory, shaders can only still be deleted individually.
Fans are disappointed and want the old shader system back from Destiny 1
Many fans now see this as a kind of small blemish on the otherwise solid Forsaken expansion.
Many new shaders, even more compulsion to dismantle: Because the game now inundates Guardians with even more new shaders and forces many players to deal with shader management. However, deleting is neither fun nor particularly conducive to using the often limited playtime in Destiny 2 effectively. Many fans are annoyed and angry.
What do the fans say about this? A good representation of the current mood can be found on Reddit. Amid numerous praises for Forsaken and posts about new puzzles and secrets, there are many posts complaining about the shader system and the new “mass deletion.”
A Reddit user G-star-84 says: “Shaders should be a fun aspect of the game and not a mess that I have to manage time-consuming.”
The user Ogthor says: “Obtaining shaders is now annoying. Shader management is so convoluted and the inventory for shaders is so tight that I just get annoyed every time I get one.”
Requiem191 adds: “Players still want a “delete entire stack” option for shaders. If it fails because the game cannot process what materials it should spit out in return for the deletion, then let me delete the stack knowing that I won’t receive anything for it.”
Shaders like in Destiny 1 – the solution?
How can the shader system be improved? There are plenty of solutions and ideas within the community. The prevailing sentiment is clear: Make shaders like they were in Destiny 1 – unlimited use.
Destiny 2 has received a useful system in Forsaken in the form of collections, where already obtained and missing items are tracked and presented. Why not unlock shaders there as soon as you obtain them, instead of constantly sending them to the inventory?
Another comment from the Redditor Requiem191 summarizes the community’s stance well: “It would be best if Bungie made shaders unlockable items like emblems, gestures, Sparrows, ships, etc. Make them unlimited in use. Player experience comes first.”
What do you think about the shader system in Destiny 2 and the current mass deletion? Can you live with it or do you also wish for the system from Destiny 1 back?

The warfront in the Arathi Highlands of World of Warcraft leaves a bad taste for many players. The feature is not really fun.
For a few hours now, Horde players can finally try out the warfront in the Arathi Highlands and earn cool rewards. It offers gear with item level 370 and for repeating the completion, items in the range of 340. So it’s a worthwhile undertaking for all who still need gear.
But the warfronts have a clear problem: They are not fun.
The warfronts are one of the major features of World of Warcraft: Battle for Azeroth and were heavily advertised. Unfortunately, the battle for Arathi simply cannot live up to expectations.
I don’t feel like “the hero in a map from Warcraft 3” but rather like the little peon who is supposed to rush around the entire map.
I fell trees, collect the wood, run to the mine, pack the ores, and return to the camp. There, I put all the resources into building buildings. I am not a hero, I am the fool of the day. This is a nice change when questing, but rather annoying in an epic warfront.
Heroically, we collect resources. Like a peon in Warcraft 3.
Honestly, I don’t remember Arthas suddenly chopping down trees in Warcraft 3 or standing in the mine to mine iron with Frostmourne.
When participating in the actual battles for the control points, there is also no real warfront feeling. You run against a wall of hit points and slowly cut through it. Sure, that’s the “usual battle flow” in World of Warcraft – but just not what I expected from an epic battle.
The AFK problem
The most annoying thing about the warfronts is that players are already beginning to exploit the entire system. They repeatedly sign up for the warfront and are then more or less AFK. They can be, because it doesn’t matter with 4-5 players in the warfront. Probably, one could also solidly handle the scenario with a five-man group if there is enough coordination.
A single player can make it
Equally absurd is that there are already some strategies on how to manage the warfront completely alone. Players report repeatedly that they come into groups where everyone “just runs around aimlessly” and does not respond to calls. Then there is a way, at least with solid equipment, to cope mostly alone and utilize the NPCs.
That is simply not right.
Expectations were not met
Currently, the warfront is a disappointment to me. It has no difficulty, requires no skill, and conveys only a very slight feeling of a real battle. When I received my 370 gloves at the end, my joy was limited. It simply didn’t feel right. Undeserved. Given for free. And I don’t like that.
What are your experiences with the warfronts? Have you already claimed your rewards? Do you like the Arathi scenario or is it rather disappointing?
The late YouTuber TotalBiscuit receives a special honor. Blizzard dedicates a special memorial pack to him in Starcraft 2 – the proceeds go to his family.
Who was TotalBiscuit? John “TotalBiscuit” Bain was a popular YouTuber and gaming critic. He passed away in May 2018 after a long battle with cancer.
His career as a gaming personality began with World of Warcraft. He also served as a commentator for Blizzard’s game StarCraft 2.
How is Blizzard honoring him now? Blizzard is giving TotalBiscuit a dedicated memorial pack in StarCraft 2. Bain had already received a regular announcer pack (via Blizzard) years ago.
The proceeds from the new pack and the proceeds from the announcer pack since April 2018 go to Bain’s family.
This is what Blizzard says: “As many of you know, John “TotalBiscuit” Bain was one of the biggest supporters of StarCraft II. He and his wife Genna have long promoted us […]
In recognition of what the Bain family has done for StarCraft 2, we have created a collection of memorial cosmetics. 100% of the proceeds from these items go to Genna and their son, Orion.
In memory of the tragic loss, this is our way of saying thank you to the Bain family for all that they have done for StarCraft II.”
When will the bundle be available? The bundle will be available this week until December 31, 2018, or until it sells out.
How are the fans reacting? On reddit, many are moved, especially since “TotalBiscuit’s” wife, Genna, is reportedly also suffering from cancer. In general, it is found that the family has been through a lot.
Many fans feel a deep connection to TotalBiscuit and his family.
Why is TotalBiscuit controversial? TotalBiscuit was a provocative figure for some game developers. He often gave harsh criticism of games, and his community also did not hold back. He was accused of having connections to “GamerGate”.
For some critics, “TotalBiscuit” was part of the problem of the growing tension between developers and players.
The new raid in Destiny 2 Forsaken has been entered by the first guardians, although it is still closed. They glitched in and found a chest with loot.
The Forsaken raid “Last Wish” actually opens on September 14 for all brave guardians who want to face the largest PvE challenge in Destiny so far.
Players are glitching into the raid: However, patience does not seem to be the strength of some guardians. They have now found a way to enter the raid area early and look around a bit. Currently, the explorations are still ongoing, but a first chest with raid loot has been discovered.
Warning: Heavy spoilers ahead. The raid loot already reveals a lot about the raid!
What is this raid glitch?
This guardian was the first player in the new raid: According to their own statement and reddit, it was the YouTuber The Quiet Guy, who glitched into the raid first and found items there. He posted a tutorial online, which others could follow. Meanwhile, additional “glitch paths” have already been discovered, through which one can enter the raid.
The guardians are quick. The first glitch was only spread a few hours ago on reddit.
How do you glitch into the raid? You won’t find a detailed glitch description on Mein-MMO.
Just a bit about the general procedure: In the area of Rheasilvia in the Dreaming City, you can jump into a niche that takes you behind the map. From there, you have to jump carefully from one ledge to the next, requiring high mobility and good jumping skills, as any misstep will send you back to the start.
Anyone who wants to see the glitch in full can already find several tutorials on YouTube.
Warning, big spoilers are coming now! Click away if you don’t want to see anything about the raid loot, the raid area, and possibly hints about the raid boss.
The first raid rewards
What about the raid loot? After the glitchy jumping passages, you reach an area called “The First Spire”, where you can see a tower connected by a bridge. The chest that was discovered is located in a niche on a bridge pillar:
Raid Area
This is what the chest looks like:
What is inside the chest? Raid loot. Weapons and armor pieces that reference The Great Hunt in name and lore tab – the battle in which the Ahamkara were eradicated. Some of the found items can be found in this Imgur gallery:

Glitch is not worth it: We recommend abandoning this glitch. On the one hand, you only have to wait until Friday in order to officially enter the raid. On the other hand, this chest apparently only contains loot below your current power level. Therefore, it is not worth taking the arduous path.
Nevertheless, this is currently not stopping some guardians from uncovering more secrets in the raid area. Whether they will be successful remains to be seen.
The previous findings strengthen the theory that an Ahamkara lurks in the raid:
With Bless Unleashed, the developer studio Neowiz and publisher Bandai Namco are set to launch an MMORPG for Xbox One. However, the community of Bless Online has hated the game since its announcement, as can be seen in the reactions.
Bless Online has polarized opinions. The MMORPG that many were waiting for did not meet expectations upon release on Steam. Announcing a new Bless game now is met with little understanding.
Because the development of Bless Online has been plagued by problems:
The original Western publisher Aeria Games dropped out.
In Korea, there was strong criticism of the released version.
The developers announced restructuring measures.
Despite this, the currently released game still has many flaws.
Where does the hate for Bless Unleashed come from? When Neowiz and Bandai Namco announced Bless Unleashed a few weeks ago, players were bewildered. How could the studio announce a new MMORPG now when the old one is still in such poor condition?
So the hate focused on Bless Unleashed.
Additionally, the developers added fuel to the fire as Bless Online is a Buy2Play product, while Bless Unleashed is set to release for Xbox One with a Free2Play model. PC players cannot understand why they should pay for an MMO in poor condition while Xbox players receive a new product for free.
Furthermore, Bless players now fear that the money they spend on Bless Online is going into the development of Bless Unleashed and not being used to improve the PC version.
This is how the community reacts: Bless players are angry. Not only because of the state of Bless Online, which is still ongoing, but also because a new MMO is set to be released with Bless Unleashed that will receive a better engine, appears with a Free2Play model, and of course consumes resources that could have benefited Bless Online.
Bless player Fratzo writes in his review on Steam: “The money that has been raised so far will not be used for the further development of Bless, but for a new game (Bless Unleashed) that is being released on Xbox. The game is just a scam and has no place on Steam!”
MeinMMO reader John Wayne thinks: “The fundamental problem is not that the games are different, but that the funds intended for PC-Bless are now being thrown at an Xbox game.”
Paralen963 on Reddit says: “At least we know why they are not fixing our version … they are porting it to UE4 for Xbox. I think now everyone can see that they abandoned that version a long time ago.”
This is how the developers are steering against it: Neowiz and Bandai Namco repeatedly explain that Bless Online and Bless Unleashed are two different games that just happen to be set in the same world.
The story is different, the gameplay, the engine – Bless Unleashed is not Bless Online.
But the community is not interested. Players only see that despite the poor state of Bless Online, the revenues are now being used to develop a new game for Xbox One instead of improving the PC version.
Can Bless Unleashed be successful? With all the negativity currently raining down on the MMORPG, success is hard to see. The criticism is ongoing, and every article becomes a PR nightmare for Neowiz and Bandai Namco.
Presumably, the game will also be flooded with negative reviews at release – whether these are justified or not. Thus, Bless Unleashed could already have been dealt a fatal blow before its release.
In Fortnite, data miners have now discovered the tasks for week 10. The following tasks will likely be assigned to you this week.
Data miners find challenges: Every week Fortnite brings new challenges that players can complete in BR mode. Data miners find these tasks in advance and share them through leaks.
However, one should take this information with caution, as the developers at Epic may change something before the tasks are released. In the past, these leaks have often been correct, with only details adjusted before the tasks went live.
Update: The challenges in Fortnite are now online. Here are the official ones:
Search for Jigsaw pieces in basements (7): In this task, you are to search for Jigsaw pieces. This is probably a reference to puzzle pieces, but it is not yet clear.
In total, there should be 7 pieces to find in basements. It is still unclear whether every basement counts or just those of the houses near well-known locations. It is assumed that more than 7 pieces are hidden on the map.
Consume Hop-Rocks, apples, or mushrooms (20): For task 2, you should take certain consumables. The data miners point out that Hop-Rocks, apples, or mushrooms are just placeholders and will probably be replaced with the correct task during the week.
Eliminate opponents (10): This is the difficult task of Week 10. You need to take out 10 opponents.
The paid tasks in week 10 (with Battle Pass)
Search chests at Salty Springs (7): The typical chest-searching task for this week. As always, easy to complete in the 50vs50 mode.
Deal damage to opponents (5000): This may just be a placeholder task that will be swapped. Otherwise, it is quite easy, as you don’t need to deal this damage in one match.
Search between a waterfall, a bridge, and tennis courts: The search from week 10. We will again have a guide for you on Mein-MMO.de.
Eliminate 3 opponents in Risky Reels: For the final task, you should travel to Risky Reels and take out opponents there. Many players are likely to gather there.

Whether these tasks are really correct will be revealed this week when Epic presents the challenges for week 10. As always, we will then present them here on Mein-MMO.de and create guides for the difficult parts.
The MMORPG Pirates of the Burning Sea has lost its only programmer, which now means the end of the game. Unless the community takes over the title.
An MMORPG has to shut down its servers because the only coder is leaving. The team behind Pirates of the Burning Sea now hopes that the last remaining fans will take over and continue operating the game.
The End of an MMORPG
What happened?
The pirate MMO Pirates of the Burning Sea was released in 2008 by Flying Lab Software. The distribution was handled by Sony Online Entertainment.
However, in 2012, the game was removed from the portfolio due to a sharp decline in player numbers. Some former developers of the online game took over the title and continued it under the company Portalus.
The downward trend, however, could not be stopped. It was said that the game was developed completely ignoring the community and feedback was disregarded.
Now Portalus has announced that the only remaining programmer has left the team. This means that Pirates of the Burning Sea can no longer be operated. The game is facing closure.
What happens next? Portalus is now hoping for the few remaining community members. Portalus is to be dissolved and replaced by a new non-commercial entity.
Volunteers from the community are being sought who want to help run the MMORPG on a voluntary basis. A corresponding discussion will be started on the official forum of the game.
This is how the community reacts: The community of Pirates of the Burning Sea is tiny. Even on the official forum, there are hardly any discussions taking place. The few reactions to the end of the MMORPG consist of accusations against the development team who simply did not listen to their players.
Whether a team of volunteers can be assembled in this way to continue developing PotBS is currently questionable.

In Destiny 2, there is chaos surrounding the weekly challenges. Bungie is therefore changing the Weekly Reset.
First big problem in Forsaken: As Bungie announced a few hours ago, the first “high priority” issue in Forsaken has been identified. This is a problem affecting all Guardians, and a fix needs to be delivered as soon as possible.
What kind of problem is it? The issue affects the weekly challenges in Forsaken. Some of them were apparently unintentionally reset over the past weekend and are now showing the Guardians that they can grab the powerful loot again. This should not be the case, as weekly challenges are supposed to reset every Tuesday at 7 PM.
What is being done about the problem?
What exactly happened? On Sunday, Bungie commented on the situation. They are aware of an issue with the weekly challenges and are investigating the matter. It appears to be a UI issue. Players are still receiving loot only once a week; it is simply displayed incorrectly.
A few hours ago, Bungie added that the weekly challenges of Gambit, the Crucible, and Heroic Story Missions were affected and that the problem occurred on Saturday night to Sunday at 2 AM.
How Bungie is reacting to the problem: Due to this issue, Bungie states that these three weekly challenges will not reset again on Tuesday, September 11, at the normal Weekly Reset time. They are working on a fix. Other weekly challenges like the Nightfall or the Strikes are reportedly not affected. All weekly challenges are to reset uniformly on Tuesday in the future.
Impact on your loot yield: If you completed the three affected challenges before Sunday and claimed the weekly loot, you will no longer receive powerful loot from these activities – likely until September 18 (the next Weekly Reset), unless Bungie manages to deliver a fix in time. Even if loot is displayed to you in the Navigator again this week, you will not receive rewards again.
If you have not completed these three weekly challenges yet, you can catch up on them now. You will receive the promised loot. But only once per week.
The reset times in Forsaken are therefore not only confusing but also buggy. You can read more about the resets of daily and weekly challenges here:
Just before the start of the Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 Blackout Beta, numerous perks were revealed that will be available in the battle royale mode. However, the perks work a bit differently than what players are accustomed to.
In the traditional multiplayer modes of the Call of Duty series, perks have previously acted as permanent upgrades, providing the respective character with various bonuses. In the Blackout mode of Call of Duty: Black Ops 4, a different approach has been taken.
In Blackout, perks give you temporary boosts and buffs
How do perks work? In the battle royale mode Blackout, perks represent a type of power-up that is scattered throughout the battlefield. According to the developers, these are consumable items – the benefits associated with the perks are therefore only temporary.
As studio design director David Vonderhaar states: “In Blackout, perks are consumable items. You collect them, you use them, and they have a timer.”
The following perks are currently known:
Paranoia: Gives you an audio warning when an enemy has you in their sights.
Outlander: You take less damage from the circle (play area boundary) and receive a speed boost when you take damage from the circle.
Consumer: Reduces self-heal time by 20% when reviving teammates and using items.
Skulker: You move faster while prone or crouched.
Stimulant: Your health is increased by 100 points.
Iron lungs: You can hold your breath longer – when diving or using the scope of a sniper rifle.
Looter: You can see ammunition, health packs, weapons, and other items through walls.
Dead Silence: Reduces the volume of your footsteps.
Try it yourself: And soon you will have the chance to try out these perks yourself. Because today, on September 10, 2018, the Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 Blackout Beta starts – initially on PS4. You can find all important details here:
