The allied races of the Zandalari trolls and the humans of Kul Tiras are coming with Patch 8.1 from World of Warcraft. The requirements are quite simple.
A few days ago, the Game Director of World of Warcraft, Ion Hazzikostas, revealed that with Patch 8.1, two new allied races will finally join World of Warcraft. After Zandalari trolls and Kul Tiran humans have been known for a long time, they are getting closer with Patch 8.1 Tides of Vengeance.
The requirements for the races: To be able to play Zandalari trolls and Kul Tiran humans in Patch 8.1, there are only a few requirements. You must:
Have reached Level 120
Be exalted with the Zandalari Empire (Horde) or the Proudmoore Admiralty (Alliance)
The two allied races will only come into play after the raid, during the continued story. However, how exactly that will look is still unknown.
Speculation about the story: There are already many speculations about how the Siege of Zuldazar will unfold. The most common theory is that King Rastakhan will be killed by the Alliance, and the Horde will arrive too late to prevent it. This would make Talanji the new queen, who already has a good relationship with the Horde. It would be the perfect time to officially join the Horde.
Similarly, the Alliance could celebrate a victory alongside the Kul Tiran, if they truly manage to kill Rastakhan. And at a victory celebration, new alliances can easily be formed.
However, there is still no release date for Patch 8.1 Tides of Vengeance. Currently, the patch is in an early form on the PTR.
Are you already looking forward to the Zandalari trolls and the Kul Tiran? Or do you have no desire to level a new character again with Patch 8.1?
Kylian Mbappé is, together with Adama Traore, the fastest player in FIFA 19. However, the speed difference is not that significant: The slowest player in the game, Aaron Hughes, can almost keep up with the PSG sprinter.
Aaron Hughes, on the other hand, is a rather unknown player. The 38-year-old center-back plays in the Scottish Premiership for Heart of Midlothian FC. With an overall rating of 65, you are unlikely to encounter him in many FUT matches. And although Hughes has even gained a pace point compared to last year, it remains clear: With a pace of 24, he is still the slowest player in FIFA 19.
Speed Test Almost Equal
Pace is not that important anymore: Nevertheless, the Scottish defender does not fall too far behind in the race against Kylian Mbappé.
The Twitter user @RobTGF_ had the two different players race against each other. It becomes clear: The difference is not as great as expected. You can watch the race in the following video.

From the penalty area, both players run across the entire field:
Mbappé takes 11.454 seconds
Hughes takes 13.177 seconds
Converted, Mbappé runs at a speed of 14.64 miles per hour, and Hughes at 12.73 miles per hour. The difference between the fastest and the slowest player in FIFA 19 is not that large – despite the 72-point gap in pace.
How realistic is the pace? It is noticeable: In a race across the entire field, with the ball at their feet, Aaron Hughes can almost keep up with the fastest player in FIFA 19. Mbappé only gains 1.7 seconds over the entire field.
It should be noted that a FIFA game, despite all authenticity, plays differently than a match in real life: The halves are shorter, the pace on the field and the speeds of the players must therefore be adjusted. Because in a real game, Mbappé would likely pull away from the Scottish defender more noticeably.
Almost three weeks after the release of Forsaken, two of the new Exotics from the expansion have yet to appear in Destiny 2. Players are now eagerly awaiting the first sign of the Wish-Ender bow.
Wish-Ender desperately searched for! After the release of the expansion Forsaken, all new exotic items have already been found – except for two. The exotic hand cannon Malfeasance seems to be reachable through a quest line, as the Guardians recently found out. But what about the Wish-Ender bow? The community has already developed several theories regarding the appearance of the bow.
Is the bow coming from Petra?
Guardians hope for a quest: Players are currently operating under the theory that the Shattered City has a three-week cycle in which the corruption of the city increases and then diminishes again. Bungie recently mentioned this three-week cycle in a livestream without going into further detail.
Players now believe that Petra Venj offers a new quest each of the three weeks, and the final quest, which was actually supposed to be available with the reset on September 25, leads to the bow.
How credible is the theory? According to the Triumphs in the game, there is still a lot to expect in the Shattered City. Guardians hope that some of the upcoming secrets might lead to the Wish-Ender.
There is also a multi-part quest that stretches over weeks and is thus “timegated”, not for the first time in Destiny 2. The quest for the Polaris Lance by Ana Bray on Mars took four weeks, including the catalyst even five weeks.
Some players think that the name hints at the outcome of Petra’s possible quest line and thus to the appearance of the Wish-Ender. It was the last wish of the final boss of the raid that the Shattered City be cursed. With the upcoming quest, Guardians would obtain the Wish-Ender bow and “break” the curse. The city would be reset to its original state before the cycle begins again.
Is the bow coming from the raid?
Can we expect more from the raid? Another theory deals with the Forsaken raid “Last Wish”. Recently, a “Wall of Wishes” has appeared in a room, where Guardians can wish for various things.
To do this, a specific code must be entered at the wall with 20 circles, which fulfills certain “wishes”. The codes have been found by Guardians all over the game world, including on Nessus and in the raid itself, and compiled on Reddit.
So far, 9 wishes have already been “found”. According to data mining, there are supposed to be 14 wishes in total. Some Guardians speculate that there might still be a “15th wish” that could finally allow them to hold the Wish-Ender in their hands.
How credible is the theory? This approach has also found its legitimacy within the community. Players assume that one must first enter all the codes at the Wall of Wishes, thus wishing for all wishes once, before being able to get to wish number 15.
It is assumed that wish number 15 starts a quest that ultimately leads to the bow or revives Cayde-6. The community is currently divided on which of the two they would prefer.
Are you also eagerly waiting for the Wish-Ender? What do you think, which theory is likely to be true? Or do you have a completely different suspicion?
Update 26.9. 10 AM: It is now indeed known how to obtain the Wish-Ender. Here is our guide for the exotic bow
For Season 6 of Fortnite: Battle Royale (PC, PS4, Xbox One, iOS, Android, Switch), the 2nd teaser has just been released. It shows a clear hint at a Western theme.
On Twitter, the developers at Epic showed the second teaser image for Season 6. It has become a tradition that shortly before the start of a new season, a new image is shown each day before officially revealing the theme and battle pass details.
What does the 2nd teaser show? Image number 2 shows a woman with a bandit mask and a cowboy hat. Additionally, a purple cube is again visible in the background. Most likely, the cowgirl is one of the available skins from the Battle Pass of Season 6.
What does this image mean?
Western after all? The “cowgirl” in the teaser image is clearly a hint for many fans towards the long-awaited Western theme. This was already predicted for Season 5, as various leaks from datamining had a Western reference.
In the end, however, it remained with the strange dimensional rift theme that dominated Season 5. Instead of cowboys and bandits, Vikings came.
Does Red Dead Redemption 2 have something to do with it? With the upcoming release of Red Dead Redemption 2 in October and the teaser image, it seems fairly certain that Epic will include the Western theme at least partially in Season 6.
There might even be a Western-themed game mode or perhaps a crossover event with Red Dead Redemption 2? We will probably learn more on September 27, when Season 6 officially begins.
How does this fit with the first image?
What about the llama DJ? The Western image does not fit at all with the futuristic llama DJ, who can be seen in the first teaser image for Season 6. On the other hand, Drift’s fox mask also did not match the Viking axe from the teasers for Season 5.
Time travel again? Perhaps the theme of Season 6 is really time travel and the llama guy ensures that various eras are mixed together again?
First a sprayer, then a DJ? The llama DJ might be the protagonist of Season 6, similar to how the sprayer Drift was in Season 5. Both guys wear strange animal masks, Drift with a fox, the DJ with a llama head. So there could be a connection.
It remains exciting until we know more on September 27.

Many heroes are being reworked on the test server of Overwatch. If you have already looked at the changes and tested them, you might have noticed that one of the heroes is not playable at all.
Reinhardt disabled: If you roam around the Overwatch PTR (Public Test Realm), you currently cannot select the tank hero Reinhardt. He is not playable in training or in normal or custom matches.
why can’t i choose reinhardt in practice range in ptr
— Haga clic aquí para agregar extensiuwu ?? (@YueChibisuke) September 22, 2018
What’s wrong with Reinhardt?
Bug causes server crashes: The reason why Reinhardt is currently not playable is a “gamebreaking bug” in the literal sense. When Reinhardt is selected, it can cause the server to crash, as developer Romain Dijoux writes in the official forum.
Blizzard has been working on a patch that should have been released on Monday or early this week. As of now (as of September 25, 2018, 3:45 PM), Reinhardt is still disabled.
There have been frequent issues with Reinhardt in the recent past. The current bug shows that it does not seem easy to fix all the problems.
Shields are set to be reworked: There should have been a visual change for Reinhardt on the PTR. The rework should apply to all heroes with a shield:
Brigitte
Winston
Orisa
Reinhardt
Their shields should receive a new effect with the visual rework. When the shields have low hit points, they should flicker and slightly flash, like broken electronics.
The PTR’s new shield visuals for Brigitte, Winston, and Orisa. Notice how the barriers begin to flash like a broken electronic when low on HP. Orisa’s is VERY subtle. Reinhardt is disabled on PTR right now so I couldn’t record his. pic.twitter.com/j0vyQ7H1zM
What else is changing? The current PTR patch holds some changes. One of the biggest is the complete rework of Torbjörn, who will throw his turrets in the future and spread lava puddles in his ultimate “Molten Core”.
The hero Pharah is also getting a rework, which will require players to have slightly more accuracy and increases her mobility. Our community at MeinMMO estimates that this is intended to be a nerf on console, where she currently seems too strong to many.
Currently, there is a flood of information regarding Red Dead Redemption 2. Recently, it became known how extensive and detailed the various animal species will be. Thus, there will also be numerous hunting and fishing opportunities in the open world of Red Dead Redemption 2.
The diversity of animals is said to provide a significant portion of realism in Red Dead Redemption 2. In total, there will be almost 200 different species, all of which are supposed to have their place in the ecosystem of the game world.
Developer Rockstar not only wants to create a lively world with so many animals, but they are also meant to be part of the gameplay. Players will have numerous hunting and fishing opportunities.
Happy hunting! This is how hunting works in Red Dead Redemption 2
According to Rockstar, hunting and fishing are among the most important survival skills in RDR2. Through them, you obtain food and materials. Both are necessary for survival.
Hunting on land – what you need to pay attention to: Successfully hunting animals depends on many different factors. Each species has its own habitat and behaves like its real-life counterpart. Possums play dead, bison and reindeer travel in herds.
Therefore, it’s not just about reading tracks and then taking down the animal. The wind can carry your scent to other animals and betray you.
Your choice of weapon can also be crucial. Where you hit will determine the quality of meat and pelt, which will have a direct impact on selling prices with merchants. So choose your caliber carefully, depending on the size of the animal.
If the first shot is not fatal, you’ll need to track the animal, often by following blood trails. In the end, you may have to put it out of its misery with a mercy shot. Watch out for competition. If you don’t take down your prey quickly enough and transport it away, other hunters, whether human or animal, may get there first.
Good fishing! Fishing in Red Dead Redemption 2
This is how fishing works: Fans of virtual fishing can look forward to a wide range of different fish species. They inhabit the various lakes and rivers of the open world. The choice of your bait and line will play a crucial role in a successful catch.
What can you do with the catch? You have many options to profit from your catch. These depend on what you want to do with your captured prey. You can
skin it, butcher it, and take it to the nearest butcher,
Hunting and fishing as side activities in Red Dead Online?
The hunting system of Red Dead Redemption 2 sounds very extensive and could offer a lot of variety. So why shouldn’t it also have a place in the online mode?
There could be several activities that could either be offered in separate modes or simply in free mode.
Hunting and fishing competitions could be possible. True to Rockstar’s style, mythical creatures could also be hidden in the game world. There is still no official information on survival skills in the online mode.
Finally, there is certainty about the new Pokémon in Pokémon GO. It is a new species called Meltan. It is introduced in the trailer.
In recent days, trainers have been thinking a lot about what this new Pokémon is all about. “Is it really a new Pokémon or just a placeholder?” many players asked themselves. Now there is certainty – It is a new Pokémon. First details are now available.
This is Meltan – A mysterious Pokémon in Pokémon GO and Let’s GO
With a trailer, the Pokémon team has now introduced the new discovery. It is said that trainers contributed to the discovery and identification of the monster through their work with field research in Pokémon GO.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=girHdqyJ4Co
What is the new Pokémon? In the video, Professor Willow speaks with Professor Oak and explains that captured Ditto can transform into special Pokémon that Willow does not yet know. Oak is also initially uncertain but then explains that he has already read about this Pokémon in ancient texts. This fits with our theory about the mother Pokémon.
The new Pokémon is called Meltan
It belongs to the “Mother” category, as can be seen from its head
It is a Steel type
Height: 0.2 meters
Weight: 8.0 kilograms
It is a mysterious Pokémon
As a description, it is stated:
Meltan’s body is mostly made of liquid metal, and its shape is very fluid. With its liquid limbs, it breaks down metal to absorb it.
It generates electricity by absorbing external metal. This electricity is used not only as a source of energy but also as an attack that it can fire from its eye.
Meltan is an exceptionally curious and expressive Pokémon that has a keen interest in all kinds of things.
The research on this new Pokémon is not yet completed. Officially, it is stated that “…the suspicion is growing that Pokémon GO is the key to encountering this interesting new Pokémon in Pokémon: Let’s Go, Pikachu! and Pokémon: Let’s Go, Evoli! . We are curious to see what more will come to light about this new monster in the coming days.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 has impressed many players during the beta. Developer Treyarch promises a lot of new content to start with. However, some fans are concerned about the long-term future of the new game.
However, some players on Reddit are concerned about the longevity of the game. What will happen when the next mandatory Call of Duty game comes in 2019?
What happens to Black Ops 4 when the Call of Duty cycle continues?
What is the Call of Duty cycle? Similar to the well-known football series FIFA, the Call of Duty series is defined by the fact that there is a new game every year. Various studios constantly work on a new game.
The current Black Ops 4 is by Treyarch, in 2017 Sledgehammer Games was involved with WWII, and the year before that the controversial Infinite Warfare by Infinity Ward caused unrest.
Does Black Ops 4 have a chance for longevity? As soon as a new Call of Duty game is released, interest in the previous games declines. While the games still receive support for a while, many players look for a new home in the new game.
According to many fans, this would be terrible for Black Ops 4. Because the big highlight, the Battle Royale mode Blackout, is ideal for establishing the game permanently.
Black Ops 4 as a Game as a Service?
Battle Royale must grow: Battle Royale games like PUBG or Fortnite are designed to run for a long time and constantly be supplied with new content. Fortnite does this masterfully with continuous new changes to the map and seasons that introduce new gameplay elements and game modes.
Such games must, according to many fans, continue to evolve and be updated. This way they become better, more stable, bug-free, and more exciting.
Consistency instead of cycle: Instead of reinventing themselves every year, it would be optimal for Black Ops 4, in the eyes of fans, if Treyarch would support the mode almost endlessly with updates. This concept is known as Games as a Service and contradicts the previously established marketing model of Call of Duty, where a new game comes out every year.
Players believe in the sustainable success of Blackout
Is Black Ops 4 suited to be a long-term hit?On Reddit, many players have gathered a lot of reasons that speak for a long lifespan of Black Ops 4 and especially the Battle Royale mode:
„I would prefer a development cycle that strengthens a solid user base on one game rather than hopping from release to release. There is much less room for mistakes (and PR disasters, I mean the jetpacks [from Infinite Warfare]).“
„Battle Royale is a genre where you build a game once and then improve it over time. The Culling tried to establish a successor and failed terribly because it violated the rules of the genre. Please don’t make the same mistake, Treyarch/Infinity Ward/Sledgehammer.”
„I believe that it will go with [Blackout] like Fortnite: new places, special events, new game modes.“

What could a durable Call of Duty look like? To this question, fans have different concepts:
„From Treyarch’s statement that they wanted to support Black Ops 4 “for years”, many got the impression that other studios would add their own content to Blackout when their respective CoD titles are released. […] However, I can’t imagine that people have to buy Infinity Ward’s new game in 2019 just to get the new Blackout map for it.”
„It looks like Treyarch will support Blackout for years and there are rumors that Infinity Ward is creating its own Battle Royale for their next CoD. It seems that every studio will make its own Battle Royale.”
What is your opinion? Will Black Ops 4 just be another title in the series, or finally a game that lasts longer? And what do you think of the rumor that every studio makes its own Battle Royale?

These are all legendary raid weapons from Last Wish in Destiny 2. We provide their strengths and weaknesses as well as perk recommendations.
The Forsaken Raid: Since September 14, 2018, brave Guardians can enter the raid “Last Wish”. This raid is located in the Dreaming City.
New raid-exclusive weapons:In the raid, not only multiple boss encounters await you but also some weapons that only exist in “Last Wish.” You obtain them randomly by fighting through the raid, defeating the bosses, and looting chests.
For a chest containing raid loot, you don’t even have to defeat a boss, but simply express a wish in the Wish Room. The weapon expert Mercules904 has now revealed interesting stats and shared his assessments on these new raid weapons. Mercules enjoys a good reputation in the community. What he has to say about the weapons in Destiny usually receives a lot of attention. We present his findings.
[toc]
Notes:
Raid weapons have both random perks and a carefully handpicked “Masterwork Roll” from Bungie, which is on the weapon when you obtain its Masterwork. The Masterworks can have perks that are not included in the random perk pool.
All Time-to-Kill figures for PvP refer to Guardians with 192 health points (which corresponds to 6 resilience). The TTK is the time you need under optimal circumstances to eliminate an enemy Guardian with full health.
Change – Scout rifle from the raid
This is Change: Change is a legendary scout rifle categorized under the “High Impact Frame” archetype with high impact and low rate of fire. It deals kinetic damage. These are the stats:
Time-to-Kill: 0.80s (3 crit), 2.00s (6 body)
Rate of Fire: 150
Impact: 67 (66 crit, 38 body)
Range: 74
Stability: 22
Reload Speed: 25
Handling: 29
Aim Assist: 29
Magazine Size: 14
Strengths and weaknesses:
The range of the scout rifle is very high. In this stat, Change surpasses many other scout rifles.
However, the weapon has low stability. Reload speed, aim assist, and handling could also be better.
Light Mag: Increases reload speed, slightly increases range
Outlaw: Precision kills significantly reduce reload time
Explosive Payload: Projectiles create an area of effect explosion on impact
Other strong random perks:
Rampage: Kills with the weapon temporarily increase damage, stackable 3x
Kill Clip: Reloading after a kill grants bonus damage
Is Change worth it? Change is the fourth new scout rifle with high impact in Forsaken – and according to Mercules probably the best of them. Once scout rifles are buffed in PvE, you can have fun with it. Because Change is the only scout rifle of this archetype that can have the bonus damage combo of Rampage and Kill Clip. The Masterwork version is also not bad. Try to increase stability with perks.
On the following pages, you will find other raid weapons from Last Wish. On page 2, it continues with a pulse rifle.

Are the rewards from island expeditions in World of Warcraft completely random? No, more and more players believe so. You can influence the drop chance.
Island expeditions in World of Warcraft: Battle for Azeroth divide the player base. Some cannot relate to the content at all, while others have a lot of fun and even level solely through island expeditions.
However, it has always been a mystery how exactly the loot at the end of an island expedition is determined. Many players suspected that there is simply a very small chance for any item from the entire loot table. However, this seems to be incorrect.
For Hozen toys, you should kill rare Hozen.
“Named” mobs give loot chance: On Reddit, the user Flak_Knight writes that he leveled some characters solely through island expeditions with his friends and took the time to experiment a bit.
They discovered that the loot received is not completely random, but depends on the events on the island and the killed “named rare mobs” – that is, NPCs that have a unique name.
To increase the chance of special loot, like pets, toys, transmog gear, and mounts, you should always keep an eye on the events and especially kill the NPCs with special names.
An example: Do you want the green parrot mount “Squawk”? Then you should always pay attention to whether pirates are attacking during island expeditions. As soon as they are there, rush to the pirates and kill the rare enemies with a special name. Only then do you have any chance of getting pirate loot at the end.
Would you rather have the mount of the Mogu? Then you should always kill the Mogu rares. This applies to all rewards.
Praise for Blizzard: Flak_Knight praises Blizzard in his post for the fundamental system. For the first time in a long while, it is no longer possible to learn about rewards and their exact acquisition through data mining. Only those who truly explore the islands and their events can get something special.
The Azerite elementals are rather counterproductive for great loot.
Fastest profit is counterproductive: However, there is also some criticism of the system.
If you complete island expeditions with maximum efficiency, always mine large ores, open chests and take down the “large Azerite elemental” with its three giant ores, you do not increase your chance for certain loot. Because these sources are not “named” mobs.
However, if you ignore these Azerite sources, then the other faction will grab the ores and possibly catch up.
Please keep in mind that much of the information is still speculation. However, more and more players are voicing that these observations also correspond to their experiences.
What do you think of this way of obtaining loot? A cool idea or rather silly? Will you now specifically take down the rare mobs from the events?

Rockstar has repeatedly emphasized that the world of Red Dead Redemption 2 will be extremely detailed and vibrant. The developer now announces that RDR 2 will feature nearly 200 different species of animals, all of which have their place in the ecosystem of the game.
The diversity of the ecosystem of Red Dead Redemption 2: The world of RDR 2 features landscapes with varying climatic conditions.
Rockstar leverages these climate differences to populate the map with a variety of wildlife and create an ecosystem that aims to feel as realistic as possible.
According to Rockstar’s statement, each species will occupy its own place in the ecosystem and compete with others for survival. The list of known species is rather classic. There will be:
What does it mean for the gameplay of Red Dead Redemption 2? It is clear that Rockstar has invested a lot of work into the wildlife of RDR 2, making it an integral part of the gameplay.
For instance, players will be able to hunt or go fishing. With some luck, you will also be able to get really rare items.
The harvested resources, such as meat or bones, can be sold or kept, and new equipment or clothing can be crafted from them. Alternatively, resources can also be donated to your own gang to increase morale and strengthen bonds among the members.
It is also possible that there will be an achievement in Red Dead Redemption 2 for capturing every species in the game.
The tools you use make a difference: It is important to have the right weapons when hunting prey.
A bow makes less noise than a rifle, for example, and its arrows leave less damage on the meat and hide of the animal. Accordingly, the yield will be better when using a bow.
When fishing, players will need to pay attention to which waters they fish in and which baits are better suited for the various species of fish.
You can read here how hunting and fishing will work:
In Destiny 2 , they are particularly proud of the “Gambit” mode. The developers believe they have created a new competitive mode here, something even revolutionary. And the developers speculate that someone might copy it.
Gambit – the new thing: For months, it has been evident how proud Bungie is of the “Gambit mode” in Forsaken. This was the mode that they touted to YouTubers in May 2018 as “the next step in PvP” and as a “revolutionary mode.”
The Gambit mode was described at E3 2018 with 4 keywords:
Fight – Kill PvE opponents as a team with 4 Guardians
Collect – Collect the Motes they drop
Bank – Bring these Motes to the bank, you need to collect a total of 75
Invade – One player can briefly switch to the opponent’s side and take out opposing Guardians
This is essentially the new mode. But the additional layers and tactical nuances make the appeal of Gambit.
Gambit in Destiny 2: Constantly weighing if it’s worth the risk
The three most important additional elements are:
You can send “Blockers” to the opponent’s side. The NPC monsters then block the bank and annoy the opponents. They come with 5/10/15 Motes that you deposit at once.
If you die, the Motes you carry are gone. To send bigger blockers over, you need to collect many – a trade-off between risk and playing it safe.
At the end, a big boss enemy, the Invader, must be defeated. However, if the Invader takes someone out while the Invader is active, the boss enemy is healed.
The idea for Gambit came in 2017
This is how it all began: Bungie shares in a conversation with PC Gamer how they came up with the idea to design this mode.
The original request came from Chris Barrett. He wanted an endgame mode that would merge PvE and PvP early in 2017. Something like Trials of Osiris but with the alien races. But it seems that no one really knew what Barrett had in mind.
The Destiny 2 team had to experiment until the mode settled in its current form.
At first, Gambit was just a relay race
This is how Gambit functioned at the beginning of development: At first, only two teams of Guardians faced off against PvE opponents. The two teams were separated by a glass wall and had essentially nothing to do with each other.
It was a relay race, says Robbie Stevens, the strike expert from Bungie. Stevens, along with PvP chief Lars Bakken, is one of the fathers of Gambit.
Initially, players only killed their PvE enemies and ran with the notes to the bank. But nothing else happened. At that time, Gambit was still a race against NPCs.
This is how it then worked: The breakthrough in the development of the mode occurred when the “Invasion” was invented, meaning the possibility for a player to switch to the opponent’s side and take out other players.
This brought a tactical component of “risk” and “weighing” to Gambit. Do you really want to run around with many Motes when at any moment a “chaotic element” can come in and take you out?
Then the blockers came into play. That was also a weighing: How many Motes do you want to carry?
With the two elements, invasion and blockers, Bungie achieved the balance of PvP and PvE that Barrett was aiming for with the new mode in Destiny 2.
Competition stimulates the business
Bungie hopes someone picks it up: In the interview, it is clear how proud Bungie is to have invented the mode. The developers look forward to seeing what other companies do with their ideas. Maybe they will bring their own elements into it, which in turn would inspire the developers at Bungie.
Stevens says: “We are excited to see what people do. Competition stimulates the business. No one at the studio sees imitation as something that takes anything away from us.”
This inspiration has been used by Bungie for Gambit: The developers also have no problem admitting that they used ideas from other games for Gambit:
The idea of using NPC opponents in a PvP game comes from MOBAs, the creeps
From fighting games, they took the two bars at the top of the screen that show the progress of the teams
And from PUBG comes the idea that both teams face off at the beginning of a match and can exchange gestures.
Shadow Priests have a reason to rejoice. They can cuddle with their “Knaifu” once again – Xal’atath was found in the game data of World of Warcraft.
What is Xal’atath? Xal’atath was the artifact weapon of Shadow Priests in Legion. Like few other artifact weapons, Xal’atath had its own personality and occasionally spoke to players.
These whispers often spoke of great calamity and were delivered by a lascivious voice. It didn’t take long for Shadow Priests to name the blade “Knaifu” – a mix of “Waifu” and “Knife” – a dagger to fall in love with.
With the end of Legion, the blade was lost, unfortunately without much farewell.
Xal’atath in the game data: In the game data of Patch 8.1, the epic item Xal’atath, Blade of the Black Empire, was found again. It is apparently a quest item. Thematically, this would fit the raid Crucible of Storms, which takes place beneath the Shrine of Storms and is related to the Old Gods.
New spells suggest a questline: Wowhead has now extracted further spells from the game files and constructed a possible storyline from them. Please note that this is still only speculation.
It seems that Xal’atath is currently in a “sleeping” state, after all, the blade was used to cleanse Sargeras’ corruption.
Players can penetrate the blade and talk to Xal’atath there.
They must convince her and then feed her with souls of Naga to restore her to her former strength. Afterwards, “Xal” leaves the blade and is considered freed.
Whether this is really a good thing or if it is a grave mistake remains to be seen.
Quest still incomplete: The hints suggest that the questline will be accessible for all classes – not just Priests. However, the data is still incomplete. There are still no “broadcast” texts, i.e., spoken words that NPCs say. The quest appears to be in a very early state.
Whether Xal’atath will indeed return with Patch 8.1 or if Blizzard plans that for a later date is uncertain. It will definitely be exciting to see what happens with the beloved Shadow Priest blade. Maybe we will get to see its true form…
The MMORPG Revelation Online has received a major update. But will the content be enough to save the MMORPG?
The MMORPG Revelation Online is struggling with declining player numbers. The community seems to barely exist anymore. Now the question arises how the newly released, large update could breathe new life into the game.
Almost a New Beginning
What does the update bring?New Sulan revises the area around the main quest line. It should make it more exciting to follow the story.
The entire area is supposed to become more vibrant and interesting
The city is to become a hub where players like to meet
The developers want to finally create the “Sulan City” that they have long wanted in the game
New quests will bring players closer to the revised zone
The user interface of Revelation Online will also be revised and made more intuitive
The developers are reworking the dungeon and raid system, including difficulty levels, achievements, and rewards
The “Darkfall Dungeon” will get an expert mode for players from level 55. You will encounter new bosses and monsters there
New daily quests for players from level 20
Rebalancing of classes, especially Vanguard, Occultist, and Spiritshaper
Adjustments to the guilds, including new buffs and an automated replacement for an absent guild leader
The MMORPG seems Dead
How are players reacting? The community still has many open questions regarding New Sulan. Especially regarding the balancing. Nevertheless, fans are looking forward to the expansion and are very curious about how the MMO will change as a result.
Revelation Online is Stumbling: The MMORPG is currently facing a general problem: It seems dead and the declining player numbers underline this impression. In the German forum, there are hardly any discussions taking place, and there is little talk about it on Reddit. Even the Steam launch couldn’t convince. Furthermore, there is no longer a team that takes care of a separate “West version”.
Therefore, it is all the more important that the community is “awakened” with the new update. Whether this is enough to save the MMO will be revealed in the coming weeks and months.
In Pokémon GO a mysterious Pokémon has appeared that transforms into Ditto. Players initially thought it was a bug. Our author Patrick joins fan theories and believes: It was possibly planned this way.
What is it about?
A few days ago, a dataminer discovered the appearance of a new Pokémon in the code
Shortly thereafter, the monster could be found in the wild, but after being caught it transforms into Ditto
Trainers speculate whether the appearance of this Pokémon is just a mistake
Much suggests that the monster was intentionally released
Initially, dataminer Chrales found hints of this new Pokémon in the code of Pokémon GO. At that time, it was unclear what Niantic intended with this change. Without any announcement, the new monster suddenly appeared in the game.
It was assumed that this was not the new Pokémon, but just a placeholder for a new species. One can see a Ditto that carries something like a hex nut as its head.
Suddenly found by everyone: Already the day after the dataminer’s discovery, the monster appeared everywhere in the world. This happened shortly after the Community Day in Asia. For about 30 minutes, the monster could be found at every corner in Pokémon GO, just after the Community Day in Germany with Endivie. Screenshots were diligently posted in our Facebook group for Pokémon GO. Meanwhile, it spawns significantly less, but it is still in the game.
No name, turns into Ditto: As a description of the Pokémon, one finds in the game only the designation “???”. If trainers manage to catch this monster, it transforms into Ditto. During the Community Day even into Endivie.
Could be a mistake, trainers believe: Because these events were so atypical for Pokémon GO, to release a new monster without an update and announcement, trainers initially assumed it was a technical error. The unusual appearance of the monster also raised concerns about whether it was intentional by Niantic to release the monster.
Probably not a glitch or mistake
In the meantime, a large part of the community is almost certain that the new Pokémon is not a technical error.
What speaks against an error? If this really were a mistake, it would be of extremely large scale. Particularly the way the monster entered the game (directly after the Community Day when many trainers were active) leads the community to suspect that the release was intended.
No explanation from the developers: In case this release happened by mistake, one would actually have expected an explanatory message from the developers. So far, this has not happened.
There has already been a statement from Niantic: On Twitter, Kento Suga, Global Marketing Lead of Pokémon GO, made a post. He showed a screenshot with the new monster and the description “???” – that leaves a lot of room for speculation.

Ultimately a Ditto: What trainers find in the wild is so far partially a new Pokémon. But only partially, as after being caught it becomes clear that Ditto is behind it. This could mean that
the new species looks exactly like the one found in the game
Or Ditto is having trouble transforming into it, and the species just looks similar
That’s why one sees Ditto’s lower body and the nut-head
Theories cling to Pokémon Let’s GO
Why Pokémon Let’s GO? It is known that a new Pokémon will appear with the release of Pokémon Let’s GO. These games for the Switch harmonize with Pokémon GO. Thus, you can transfer Pokémon from Pokémon GO to Let’s GO. The new Nintendo Switch games will be released on November 16.
What fans believe: In the comments on Reddit and Facebook, one repeatedly reads that Game Freak probably wants to spark a hype for Pokémon Let’s GO with the new monster. And there are the following theories.
This is how Niantic built up the hype: They chose a time window when many trainers are online to present the new Pokémon. This was directly after the Community Day. The new monster suddenly spawns like crazy, trainers posted screenshots of the Pokémon everywhere and spread the news.
If Niantic planned it this way, their tactic worked perfectly. Everyone talked about the new Pokémon or at least had seen it.
Kecleon – Source: Bulbapedia
What does this have to do with Kecleon? Initially, it was assumed that Kecleon is directly related to the new Ditto monster. A fan theory on Reddit builds on the idea that Niantic wanted to release the new Pokémon, but would have needed an update for that. Dataminers would have quickly analyzed it and the surprise would have been gone. Instead, they replaced Kecleon’s model, as the data is already in the game. This way, the new Pokémon entered the game without an update, and the surprise was achieved.
Some still saw Kecleon: There are reports from trainers who saw Kecleon in the wild. This was probably due to delays in exchanging the models with the new Pokémon.
Patrick thinks: For me, the theory is becoming more and more likely that this release was intended. Niantic aimed to generate hype and therefore avoided an update. They quickly changed Kecleon’s data to bring the model into the game with little fanfare.
Then they made sure that every trainer would somehow hear about this new monster. The timing, shortly after the Community Day, was perfect; word of mouth and reports on social networks hit the mark.
For me, it is 99% unlikely that this is simply a mistake. I am very curious how the story around “Nutto” (a mix of Ditto and nut) will continue.
What do you think is happening with the new monster “Nutto” in Pokémon GO?
A hotfix for an exploit in the MMORPG Neverwinter is currently causing fans to go up in arms. This is due to a massive banning wave, despite many viewing the long-known issue as a feature.
Is it fair to ban many players for an exploit that the developers have long postponed fixing? The Neverwinter community is certainly furious about it.
An exploit moves the Neverwinter fans
What happened? Since the preview phase of the latest adventure module Ravenloft for the MMORPG Neverwinter, an exploit has been known that allows players to enrich themselves unfairly.
This issue has been reported to the developers several times. When Cryptic Studios responded on September 12 and announced a hotfix, players were not very enthusiastic. With the announcement of the patch came the threat to take action against anyone who had exploited the issue. And so it happened.
Bans were issued. The exploit has now been fixed, but the community is still furious.
An exploit allowed for “earning” premium currency
What kind of exploit was it? In the Ravenloft module, a wanted quest from the Barovia hunts could be performed an unlimited number of times. This was not intended. Players received rewards each time, allowing them to earn 100,000 Astral Diamonds and thousands of gems in about 30 minutes.
This exploit was executable in both the PC version and the versions for Xbox and PS4.
Why are players angry? The Ravenloft module was released on June 26 for PC and on August 28 for PS4 and Xbox One. However, the exploit was known during the module’s preview phase before release, and players reported it. The developers did not act.
As a result, many considered this issue a feature and exploited it accordingly. Now the developers cracked down hard and referred to the terms of service, which state that such exploits may not be used. A banning wave ensued. Allegedly, even players who had only performed the exploit once or twice were banned without any notification.
Players are now going up in arms and claim that they find Cryptic Studios’ behavior unfair. If the exploit was so severe that players had to be banned for it, then the developers should have reacted much earlier.
Allegedly, even real money items were removed
Additionally, there are reports that the developers are removing items from players’ inventories, including items that were purchased with real money. Currently, there is a wave of criticism. Among other things, many do not understand how so many players could be banned when Neverwinter has been struggling with declining player numbers.
The developers remain silent: Currently, there has been no statement from Cryptic Studios regarding the situation other than a reference to the terms of service. A rollback has not yet been announced. Apparently, the developers want to manage the situation through bans and the removal of unlawfully acquired items while preparing for the release of the next module “The Heart of Fire”. The situation is still very tense.
The Drieghan expansion is finally available for the western version of the MMORPG Black Desert Online. This brings us 300 new quests, a large play area, a new boss enemy, and more.
Eight months after the release in Korea, the western version of the MMORPG Black Desert Online finally receives the Drieghan expansion. Players are looking forward to it, but they are also annoyed that it has taken so long.
Much New Content
What does Drieghan bring? With Drieghan, fans of Black Desert Online can expect a major expansion that brings many new contents:
When will the expansion be released? Drieghan will be released on November 14th. About eight months after the release in Korea last March.
Players are Annoyed by the Long Wait
How do Korean players feel about the addon? In Korea, the expansion is quite well received. Especially the new grind spots are appreciated, as they are profitable. The Tshira Ruins are particularly popular among players. However, the grind spots are often overcrowded due to their popularity.
What do western players say about Drieghan? On one hand, the Black Desert Online community is excited to be able to play the new addon soon. Nevertheless, many also express their annoyance at having to wait so long. They do not understand why the addon is released for Europe and the USA only eight months after the release in Korea.
Especially since the content has apparently been translated for quite some time, according to a livestream. Now, players hope that this waiting period has been worth it. Regular new content would be important for the MMO, as interest is waning.
Many currently find that “Fortnite is dead” and have no problem voicing this opinion. How does the world’s biggest Twitch streamer, Ninja, react to such comments?
and a current lull – at the end of a season, the pass has been completed and not much happens
Little kids think it’s cool to say that
This is what Ninja says about it: The website vgr.com reports how the most popular Fortnite streamer, Tyler “Ninja” Blevins, deals with people who come to his Twitch channel and say in the chat, “Fortnite is dead.”
Ninja has instructed his moderators to ban anyone who says that.
Ninja believes Fortnite is anything but dead. He says: “Little kids spread this poison because they think it’s cool to say that.”
Ninja advises players who are no longer enjoying Fortnite: “Look for something else, play another game. But don’t spread this negativity in my chat.”
Ninja believes in Fortnite: Ninja himself says he hasn’t experienced a single day where he didn’t enjoy Fortnite. The idea that “Fortnite is dead” is completely wrong. Just in August, Fortnite reached record numbers.
Ninja feels ready for a change
Ninja could handle the switch: Interestingly, Ninja recently made it clear in an ESPN feature that while he is strongly associated with Fortnite, he could also make a switch to another game.
This close connection to Fortnite won’t hold him back. He has been so good for so long that he believes he can achieve mastery in any game.
Ninja said ESPN: “I can keep up at 100% top level in any game I play.” Ninja has already played the beta of “Call of Duty: Blackout”, where tens of thousands of viewers came to his channel.
If Fortnite were to really lose its appeal, Ninja would be ready for the “next big thing.”
Ninja also has a knack for new trends. He was one of the first to recognize the potential in Fortnite and capitalize on it. Right now, however, Fortnite seems to be far from “dead”. It has simply reached its temporary peak and thus a plateau.
In Destiny 2 Forsaken, scout rifles are really bad in PvE. However, that is set to change in the future.
The problem with scout rifles: Currently, scout rifles are quite useless in PvE. While in year 1 of Destiny 2, powerful scout rifles like the Mida Multi-Tool dominated PvP or the Midnight Coup ruled PvE, they were heavily nerfed with Forsaken.
Bungie, please fix: The community has already complained multiple times on reddit about the current situation. Scout rifles are now useless in PvE, which is a nuisance for all Guardians who like to play with these weapons. Many find it inexplicable why Bungie nerfed an entire weapon class so heavily. They are calling for a timely fix.
Many Guardians are now responding by dismantling scout rifles as soon as they drop. However, you should keep your scout rifles for now, especially if they have good perks. Because Bungie is responding.
Bungie announces massive upgrade
In a widely discussed reddit post, a user states that Bungie needs to upgrade scout rifles as soon as possible. He would like the developers to comment on it, preferably in more detail than with the standard response “We are investigating the matter.”
This is what Bungie did: The community manager dmg04 released an official statement about this in the Bungie forum. He writes that with the Forsaken release, the scout rifle damage was reduced for all PvE activities. This nerf was also affected by a problem with explosive rounds. The issue with the perk has since been fixed.
Scout rifle damage will be increased: In response to player feedback, according to dmg04, Bungie plans a 15% damage increase for scout rifles in a future patch.
15% is significant: Normally, balance adjustments are made in the lower single-digit percentage range or even in decimal places. However, since scout rifles are currently really bad, +15% seems appropriate.
According to user reports, scout rifle damage has dropped by about 30% with Forsaken. Soon, it will go back up by 15%.
Scout rifles in PvP
PvP not affected by the buff: dmg04 emphasizes that the 15% damage increase is limited to PvE. In PvP, nothing will change for scout rifles for now.
That is also not absolutely necessary. In the “Guardian vs. Guardian” fight, scout rifles are quite usable.
In PvP, especially scout rifles with explosive payload (fire rate 150) have a strong optimal time-to-kill of 0.80 seconds. Only 3 headshots are needed for this.
This makes scout rifles a strong weapon class in PvP for those who have good aim, meaning they can reliably and accurately land shots to the head. However, the time-to-kill is quite poor with body shots. This weapon class does not forgive missed shots.
Do you still have scout rifles in your inventory, or have you dismantled them all in anger?
