New Employees Wanted
The team is growing: In 2015, the developer studio Visionary Realms was able to raise enough funds through seed financing to pay the employees working on the game. Previously, the work was done by volunteers.
The studio is now hiring new employees again. They are looking for artists to create landscapes as well as concept art and animations for the characters.
What does this mean for Pantheon? New employees always mean that a studio is doing well and that development can progress faster with a larger workforce. Furthermore, fans of the MMORPG can look forward to even more diverse and interesting landscapes and that the character animations will receive higher quality.
A criticism from existing players is the graphics. With the new artists, this should now be improved.
However, the hiring of artists also means that there is currently still a lack of game areas and animations. These need to be created first and integrated into the MMO.
So there is still a lot to be done on the game. That is why Pantheon currently also has no official release date. At the moment, the online game is still in pre-alpha.
Who is Pantheon aimed at? Pantheon wants to take classic paths and bring back the gaming experience that MMO fans had back in Everquest 1. New miniature companions: This year, there will again be new miniatures that players can earn. These include a ghostly raven and a new pumpkin lantern. Presumably, these will again hide as rare items in the trick-or-treat bags.
General Halloween activities
What else to expect at the Halloween event? The usual activities from previous years are also included this year. These include the clock tower and the maze of the Mad King.
Additionally, Lion’s Arch will be eerily decorated and the mad king Thorn will play with you every even hour in the plaza. The “Descent into Madness”, which returned in 2016, where you can fight Thorn, is also included.

5 dance floors will be created on the map, players can capture them for themselves by performing gestures on the dance floor as long as no enemy is nearby. The more players dance, the faster it is captured.
The more dance floors a team has, the faster the “dance bar” rises. When it is full, the team wins. In later phases of the match, the bar fills up faster.
Epic plans skin surprise with the patch
The surprise: The first pages report that the patch will bring a surprise. “Halloween challenges” are supposed to go live, where players can earn new outfits.

A new hotfix for World of Warcraft lowers the requirement for top Azerite gear. We reveal what is changing now.
Just yesterday, we reported that in World of Warcraft: Battle for Azeroth there are now Azerite gear with item levels 355 and 370 available when completing emissary quests. Blizzard is already changing the requirements and making the items more accessible.
What happened? Blizzard spoke about upcoming changes to the newly introduced system. A hotfix aims to fix bugged rewards in the form of Azerite items (chest, shoulder, and helm) from emissary quests and lower the requirements.
Why was the hotfix necessary? The existing system had two issues. The first issue was a bug that caused players to see rewards for item levels 355 or 340, even though they had an average item level of 370+. This error will be fixed with the hotfix.
The second issue was that the requirements for the player’s item level were too high. These will now be slightly relaxed, though Blizzard did not provide specific numbers. In any case, players should now see emissary quests more frequently (and earlier) that yield Azerite items with item levels 355 or 370.
Common practice at Blizzard: Blizzard emphasizes that it is their common approach to first have “high requirements” and then lower them if the balancing is off. The opposite would be more difficult.
In America, the hotfix has already gone live in the past hours. For us, it will happen during the day, but at the latest will be in the coming night.

Overpowered weapons in Destiny: For 3 years, there were overpowered weapons in Destiny 1:
Random rolls for individual weapons made them so overpowered that it became a fetish to find those specific perk combinations – it was referred to as the “God Roll”.
This was planned by Bungie. The developer wanted a “living game.” There were to be powerful weapons that would define a “season.” This was part of Destiny’s philosophy in the first 3 years.
But the same thing always happened: The weapons were nerfed. You could then put them down and other new weapons would rise up.
Players were actually constantly angry about the weapon balance in Destiny. Because they felt:
Bungie plays roulette with the balance.
Bungie determines what we play.
Someone was always frustrated because they couldn’t play their favorite combo as effectively as they wanted.

New approach Destiny 2: Starting in 2017, things were supposed to be different with Destiny 2. Bungie set itself the goal of having no “overpowered weapons” in the game anymore. Destiny 2 was supposed to be so “smooth and polished” that there would be nothing that needed to be nerfed later.
However, this approach fell flat. Because now the Guardians no longer enjoyed PvP. Without something that felt “too powerful,” everything felt arbitrary. It seemed irrelevant what exactly you played.

With Forsaken, there should be OP weapons again
New approach Forsaken: Therefore, Bungie was determined with Forsaken to not nerf any more weapons. There should again be “nails that stick out of the board.” They didn’t want to hammer all nails down like at the release of Destiny 2, when they went overboard with the polish and planing.

This should ensure that people with the Sleeper find ammunition less frequently to eliminate the opposing team.
This fits with Bungie’s idea: They know that the weapon is very powerful, but that’s probably okay. They want to keep the weapon powerful, but it shouldn’t be the only reasonable option in the power slot while playing Gambit.
The Destiny of “earlier” would have nerfed the Sleeper Simulant into the ground and even changed its functionality. The nature of this nerf shows that Bungie is taking a different approach here. The weapon remains strong but should be used less frequently.
