PvP is one of the most challenging topics in Fallout 76. After the announcement, many wondered: Can this go well? There is PvP in Fallout 76, but the system is quite simple and goes hard against griefers. After all, who wants to be chased by other players while just trying to explore the world?
Those who cannot pay receive a debtor’s penalty
Now players are amused by how the penalties for such trolls and griefers can turn out. Whoever is broke will be punished twice. Because as soon as the player dies on whom the bounty was placed, it will be paid from their pocket.
What if I can’t pay the bounty? Reddit user TommyBoyTC has already experienced the consequences firsthand. A bounty of 30 caps was placed on him, but he only had five. After his death, he was therefore imposed with a “debtor’s penalty.”
This is how the penalty affects you: Whoever receives such a penalty only deals 50% of the actual damage in PvP for four hours. So be careful which containers you empty; it could be another player’s workshop.
The bounty mechanism in Fallout 76
How does PvP work? When you attack another player, you initially deal only minor damage. The attacked player must fire back first to properly initiate the fight. A normal player death has little consequences. It is possible to kill someone with reduced damage, but this has consequences in the form of a bounty.
This is how bounties work: If a bounty is placed, you are marked as a murderer for everyone on the map. Any other player on the map can now kill the murderer. There is also a PvP mode on the radio, which sends you on a targeted hunt for other players.
Bounties can also be obtained differently: TommyBoyTC was apparently doubly unlucky. While looting the game world, he accidentally emptied a container that belonged to another player’s workshop. This caused him to be marked with the 30-cap bounty.
Fans are amused by penalties, but not everyone is satisfied
How does the community react? In the Fallout 76 subreddit, most players respond with humor. One player wonders whether the turrets at their own camp also attack thieves.
User Jae-Sun has an idea to trick players: “Oh my God, I’m going to place a chest with items in the middle of the street and hide turrets in the plants at the edge of the street.” He apparently wants to make players unwitting thieves who will then be attacked by the turrets.
IllStudyYou is already looking forward to the hunt: “If this is true, I will definitely be a bounty hunter.” Some are reminded of the regulators from Fallout 3, a faction of bounty hunters.
Some other users find PvP in this form unnecessary. User PalwaJoko writes: “At this point, I feel like they should completely deactivate PvP. It seems to me, […] that they just want to keep PvP to satisfy a certain group without recognizing the downsides of PvP.”
BlackedRobedMage wonders why one can even deal damage before the other player agrees to the duel: “The game has so many penalties for PvP; I just don’t see that many people will get along with such a system. I’m not sure why they even allow unwanted PvP.”

The new weapon mods in Destiny 2 – What you need to know
Why mods are worth it: With mods, you can give your arsenal an additional personal touch. The modifications improve certain aspects of your weapons – from magazine size to recoil behavior and extra damage against certain enemy groups, there’s quite a bit involved.
What is important for choosing mods: The choice of the right weapon mods depends, just like the choice of weapons or armor perks, mainly on your individual preferences. Do you play more PvP or PvE? Do you use the weapon primarily against strong single enemies or groups of weak enemies?
With this information, it should be easier for you to find the right mods for your needs.
How to get weapon mods in Destiny 2
These two options are available: Since their overhaul, mods have become rarer. In Year 2, they are only available from dismantling corresponding weapons that already contain mods or in exchange for mod components from the gunsmith.
Weapons from Year 1 are not compatible with new mods: All Year 2 legendary weapons have a mod slot. Your Year 1 weapons, on the other hand, are unable to use the new Year 2 weapon mods in Destiny 2. They must cope completely without them. Exotic weapons also do not have mod slots.
Popular Year 1 weapons have been adjusted: However, you do not have to completely give up your Year 1 weapons. Because some popular Year 1 weapons have returned in new form – with random rolls and the ability to carry Year 2 weapon mods.

Eight unreleased Pokémon from the Hoenn region (Gen 3)
So far, eight Pokémon from Generation 3 are still missing, which cannot be obtained in the game. All of them have special abilities and are therefore not yet in the game.
Nincada, Ninjask & Ninjatom
The three Pokémon are expected to be released alongside the field research in November in Pokémon GO. Only Ninjatom is confirmed, which Niantic has announced for the research so far.
Special evolution: These three Pokémon have a very special evolution method. Nincada evolves into Ninjask, and at the same time, Ninjatom is created. Thus, from one evolution, two new Pokémon are produced instead of just one. Ninjatom, as stated in the console games, emerges from the casing that Nincada sheds during its evolution.
Ninjatom has a special feature: Ninjatom itself has a unique characteristic. In the console games, it has only 1 HP. This means that normally any attack in the game can defeat Ninjatom. However, Ninjatom is also resistant to all attacks that are not very effective. This means that these attacks do not cause damage. It remains to be seen how Niantic intends to incorporate this ability into Pokémon GO.
Feature circumvented by research breakthrough: Ninjatom will be the research breakthrough in November in Pokémon GO. This means it can be obtained without evolution. The game cleverly bypasses the evolutionary feature here. It is likely that Ninjatom will not be available as an evolution but only through the research breakthrough. Thus, Nincada evolves only into Ninjask.
Kecleon
Similar to Ditto: Kecleon has a special ability. It can take on the color of its environment and disappear into it. Like a chameleon, it camouflages itself from enemies. Ditto can transform into other Pokémon and thus disguise itself, while Kecleon does the same with its surroundings.
Red stripe on the body: When a Kecleon camouflages itself in its surroundings, only a red stripe that it carries on its body is visible. Kecleon cannot change the color of the stripe, so it can be recognized upon closer inspection.
The red stripe on the back of Meltan is also carried by Kecleon.
Kecleon disguises as Meltan? Some days ago, when the Pokémon Meltan was introduced to the game, many players thought it was a disguised Kecleon. Meltan had the Pokédex number 352 in the code, the number that actually belongs to Kecleon. Additionally, Meltan wore the same stripe on its body that also adorns Kecleon. This was intentional from Niantic. The story about Meltan has now been clarified.
Perlu, Aalabyss, Saganabyss
The three Water Pokémon are also not obtainable in Pokémon GO yet. They also have a unique feature when evolving, which makes it difficult to release these Pokémon.
Carrying an item for evolution: A Perlu cannot be easily evolved. In the console games, it had to be traded while carrying a special item to evolve. It had to carry an Abyss Plate during the trade to evolve into Saganabyss. If it carried an Abyss Tooth during the trade, it would evolve into Aalabyss.
Development through trading currently not possible: This feature makes it difficult for Niantic to release the three Pokémon. On one hand, the necessary items do not yet exist in the game, and on the other hand, it is currently not possible to evolve a Pokémon through trading. Therefore, both things would have to be introduced in Pokémon GO for the three Pokémon to be released.
Alternative possibility: An alternative would be to decide the evolution randomly. One could evolve a Perlu through candies, and it would randomly become Aalabyss or Saganabyss. However, this would not align with the console games.
Jirachi
Jirachi is a mysterious Pokémon. It has always been released through special research, such as Mew or Celebi, or through EX-Raids, such as Deoxys, in Pokémon GO.
Hard to find a time: Releasing a mysterious Pokémon in Pokémon GO is always difficult. An EX-Raid boss is rarely swapped out. For instance, Mewtwo was available for almost a whole year. Thus, it is difficult to release a new Pokémon there, especially since Deoxys is still not very long in EX-Raids.
Moreover, releasing a new special research is also challenging. Niantic must first ensure that most trainers have completed the previous special research. One does not want them to overlap with each other. Additionally, there is currently a special research involving Kryppuk and a new special research regarding Meltan that has already been announced.
Jirachi, the wish Pokémon: In the console games, Jirachi was a Pokémon that could grant wishes. It has two moves that are centered around wishes. They are called Wish Dream and Destiny Wish. If Jirachi is released, two new moves will likely be available in Pokémon GO as well.
Moves with special abilities: Wish Dream can heal a Pokémon from the team of the mysterious Pokémon, and Destiny Wish deals damage to the opponent only two turns after being used. Both moves have special abilities that are currently not applicable in Pokémon GO. This also makes it difficult for Niantic to release Jirachi.
This Pokémon from Generation 2 is also missing
There is another Pokémon that cannot yet be caught in Pokémon GO. The Pokémon is called Farbigo. This Pokémon also has a very special ability and is therefore not yet obtainable in Pokémon GO.
Move Mimic: Farbigo can learn the move Mimic. This move allows Farbigo to learn any move that its opponent uses. You could teach Farbigo this move to learn any other move that a Pokémon in Pokémon GO can learn. One just needs to battle against a Pokémon that knows the desired move.
Not possible in Pokémon GO: So far, it is not feasible for Farbigo to appear with the move Mimic in Pokémon GO. Programming such a move seems to be an enormous effort for Niantic. A solution needs to be found; otherwise, Pokédex slot number 235 will remain empty. However, this would contradict the motto “Gotta catch ’em all”.

In Pokémon GO, trainers are eagerly awaiting the new Adventure Sync fitness mode. Now there are first screenshots.
The new update 0.125.1 hides valuable new data about the fitness mode. It’s called Adventure Sync and synchronizes the distance traveled between health apps and Pokémon GO.
The dataminer Chrales has closely examined the new update and extracted images. This is what the feature will look like in Pokémon GO.
Adventure Sync in Pokémon GO – This is what it looks like
In the latest update 0.125.1, which is currently being rolled out to trainers worldwide, dataminers have already found hints about Adventure Sync.
What is Adventure Sync? Adventure Sync is a new feature for Pokémon GO. Even when the game is running in the background, the distances you travel are counted. You no longer have to actively use Pokémon GO to hatch eggs or earn candy with your buddy Pokémon. The Adventure Sync feature counts steps and provides rewards.
So far, the feature has not been activated yet. But now there are first screenshots of what to expect.
This shows confirmation that Adventure Sync has been activated.
There is also another screen that apparently requires a link with a Google account. As PokémonGOHub reports, this is a requirement for Adventure Sync.
Where to activate Adventure Sync? In the settings of Pokémon GO, once the feature has been activated by Niantic, you can check a box for Adventure Sync. It will look like this in Pokémon GO:
Where are the achievements displayed? The feature is expected to offer weekly summaries. These will show what performance you have achieved in recent days.
The overview will then be displayed on your trainer profile page. There will be a new button for Weekly Progress. It will list:

Despite all the fun in the Wild West, some actions in Red Dead Redemption 2 feel clumsy and sluggish. If you’re tired of your character’s cumbersome movement or the confusing aim assist, you can try these tips for the settings.
In Red Dead Redemption 2, there is plenty to do and experience. However, sometimes the controls can be stubborn.
If you also have your problems with Arthur’s movement or are dissatisfied with the HUD, you can try these tips for the settings.
Toggle Run
Running in Red Dead Redemption 2 can feel a bit cumbersome at times, especially in critical situations.
With the default setting, the A or X button must be held down to run. If you want it to be a bit more comfortable, you just need to change a small detail in the settings under Controls and Accessibility.
Change “Run Mode (on foot)” from “Hold to run” to “Toggle run”. This way, you only need to tap the button once, and Arthur will run until you stop.
However, this option only changes Arthur’s normal running. There is no change regarding:
You still need to repeatedly press the button if you want to sprint with Arthur or gallop with your horse.
Switch to Standard FPS Controls
If changing the run feature in RDR 2 is not enough for you, you can try one of the other control schemes. If you often play first-person shooters, like Destiny 2, you might prefer the standard FPS controls.
You can find the option under Settings, Controls, Third-Person or First-Person and then “Third-Person Controls” or “First-Person Controls”.
The controls for this scheme are almost identical to the default controls. However, running in Standard FPS is not triggered by pressing A or X but by pressing the left control stick. The run and crouch options are simply swapped.
Free Aiming on Foot
Red Dead Redemption 2 features quite a hefty aim assist. You can experiment with the parameters of aim assist on foot and while mounted or in vehicles under Settings, Controls, and Aim Assist.
If you want to aim more freely and not be guided by the aim assist, you can simply change the “Aim Mode (on foot)” from “Normal” to “Free Aim”.
This gives you more freedom when aiming with your weapons and you won’t have to worry that the game suddenly decides that you should shoot the opponent 50 meters to the left instead of the one you’ve been desperately aiming at for 15 minutes.
But Keep Aim Assist for Shooting on Horseback
As much fun as it is to shoot freely with your revolver, the aim assist has its place when on horseback. You will probably struggle to get a straight shot when aiming freely on horseback, especially when things get intense.
So, it’s best to leave the setting in the controls under Aim Assist and then “Aim Mode (mount/vehicle)” on “Normal”. Within the setting, you can still experiment with the strength of the aim assist.
Camera Auto-Centering on Horseback
This tip is for cowboys who enjoy the adventure of Arthur Morgan and the gang from the first-person perspective. If you enable camera auto-centering on the horse, it greatly facilitates aiming for you.
You can find the setting under Camera, First-Person Perspective and “First-Person: Camera Auto-Centering When Aiming (mount/vehicle)”. As the name suggests, this automatically centers the camera while aiming in first-person perspective.
Tap Assistance
In the Wild West of Red Dead Redemption 2, there is plenty of button-mashing: Quick-Time Events and mini-games often require you to repeatedly press specific buttons.
For those who find constant button pressing a burden, Rockstar has built a little relief into the settings.
Under Controls and Accessibility, you will find the point “Tap Assistance”. Here you can try some settings for simplification, such as “2x” or “3x”, or set it up so that you only need to hold the button instead of repeatedly pressing it.
Customize Your HUD
In Red Dead Redemption 2, there are countless settings to customize the HUD in the game. In the settings under Display, you will find the menu item “HUD”, where many settings can be made.
Additionally, you can scroll through some radar options directly in the game. To do this, press the D-Pad down in-game and select the setting you like best. You can even completely hide the map if you want to fully immerse yourself in the game world. Pressing the D-Pad down brings the map back up.
