After Chapter 1: Overture for Battlefield 5 was postponed at short notice, there is now good news for all fans. The update will be delivered today. Here you will find all the information about the update, the server downtime, and the patch notes.
What happened? Battlefield 5 was supposed to receive its first free content as part of the new Tides of War service on December 4th. However, a few hours before release, the developers at DICE discovered an error in the update, forcing them to withhold the content boost.
When will the first Tides of War content come? Fortunately, fans won’t have to wait long.
As the developers announced on Twitter, the first Tides of War content Chapter 1: Overture will be delivered today, December 5th – just one day later than originally planned.
Although it was already mentioned at the time of the postponement that it wouldn’t take long, some fans feared a longer wait. Moreover, DICE has apologized to the fans for the delay.
Server downtime for Battlefield 5: In order for the update to be implemented, the Battlefield 5 servers will go offline today for one hour each:
PC will start at 10 AM
The Playstation 4 will be next at 11 AM
The Xbox One will follow at 12 PM
If no unforeseen problems arise, all Battlefield 5 servers will be back online around 1 PM.
Patch notes for the “Chapter 1: Overture” update for Battlefield 5: The patch notes for the first Tides of War update are very extensive. We have linked them here for you:
What can fans look forward to today? With today’s Tides of War update, the following content and changes will be introduced into the game:
A new war story “The Last Tiger”, where you take on the role of the crew of a German Tiger I tank and must win a seemingly hopeless battle
A new multiplayer map “Tank Storm”, where large tank battles are expected to take place
A training ground where you can hone your weapon and vehicle skills
Improvements to the Medic class. Among other things, the SMGs will be adjusted so that the Medic can keep up with the weapons of other classes
Faster revives
Do the new contents cost anything? Since Battlefield 5 does not rely on a season pass or a premium model, all Battlefield 5 players can look forward to the new content that will be delivered as part of the new live service Tides of War for free.
Here the developers provide a glimpse of the new Chapter 1: Overture Update:

Blizzard admits that Patch 8.1 will not resolve all issues of World of Warcraft. More work is obviously needed.
Next week it will finally happen. The major patch for World of Warcraft, Patch 8.1 Tides of Vengeance, will finally be deployed to the live servers.
Meanwhile, there are numerous discussions around the new content that keep coming up in the official forums. Some players feel that Patch 8.1 is not doing enough and is still not addressing many issues. Blizzard has now confirmed this.
What did Blizzard say? In a discussion about the current state of World of Warcraft, many players raised concerns about individual systems (Azerite, professions, classes) and talked about the changes in Patch 8.1. Community Manager Ythisens said:
“8.1 will not eliminate all these concerns, but it will address some of them. Is that enough? Of course not. There is still a lot to do.”
Community reacts sarcastically: Especially on Reddit, many cynical and sarcastic comments are accumulating in response to this statement from Ythisens. After all, it was previously said that the problems with classes should be fixed in Patch 8.1. However, Shamans still feel neglected. Patch 8.1 primarily brings a change to the numbers, rather than to the “boring” playstyle for many players.
What specific problems are being discussed? Especially Elemental Shamans are a thorn in the side of players, but Shadow Priests are “not fully reworked yet” according to Blizzard’s statements. The Azerite system, which many consider a “cheap, inferior version of artifact weapons,” also needs significant improvement.
At the end of the year we have another batch of cool online games and MMOs that we can highly recommend. Among them is a new card game, a big update to a top game, and an alternative to Diablo.
In the cold December, apart from Christmas markets, there is no reason to brave the desert weather. Especially when you can sit comfortably inside and play these trendy online games.

World of Warcraft: Battle for Azeroth – The War Escalates Further
This is what the update includes: Patch 8.1 “Tides of Vengeance” for World of Warcraft elevates the war between Horde and Alliance to a new level. The Alliance is serious and raids the city of Zuldazar with its armada. New war campaigns, new allied races, heritage armor, and cosmetic changes are also coming.
What’s New in Battle for Azeroth?
This content is coming: In Tides of Vengeance, you will experience a lot of new things in World of Warcraft:
There is a double raid called “Siege of Zuldazar”. Both Horde and Alliance can try their hand here, either defending or attacking the city. However, the raid will not appear until 2019.
There will be invasions again, only that they are called Incursions here.
Here are the reasons for Tides of Vengeance: Once again, Blizzard offers a substantial update that has something for every type of player. Especially story fans will be pleased this time, as the narrative around the war between Horde and Alliance progresses significantly.

Destiny 2 continues to surprise players: A Guardian has now found out what happens when you achieve a 50-kill streak in PvP.
There’s always something to discover in Destiny 2’s PvP. A player has now taken it to the extreme and achieved so many kills that even the honorable Lord Shaxx ran out of medals. But the popular Crucible overseer has a special surprise for players with a high kill streak.
Lord Shaxx is a secret DIY enthusiast
This is what happened: Two Destiny 2 players teamed up to put Lord Shaxx to the test: Up to which kill streak are there medals, and do they ever run out in the game?
The players competed against each other, with one allowing himself to be taken down repeatedly by the other. This way, the Guardians achieved a streak of 50 kills.
This is what happens at a 50-kill streak: Lord Shaxx, the overseer of the Crucible PvP mode, is known in the community for his passionate and amusing comments. And even at a streak of 50 kills, the old veteran knows how to impress.
At that point, he actually runs out of medals. Where the medal should normally be displayed, it only says “Insert medal here”. The field itself, where the icon of the medal usually appears, remains empty.
But Shaxx does not hold back and quickly puts together a little something himself. Suddenly, a medal with a “hand-drawn” smiley appears, and the description reads “I made this for you”.
Even in the feed in the lower left corner, it is noted that Shaxx has made something special for the player.
The players recorded his reaction to the kill streak in a video:

This is what the community says: Players are already celebrating Shaxx’s video of the hand-made medal in the Destiny subreddit. Shaxx has long been popular in the community, and this was further enhanced with the Forsaken addon.
Some mounts in World of Warcraft are extremely rare. However, one group has hit the jackpot and may have set a record.
In World of Warcraft, there are numerous mounts that are only dropped by certain bosses. While there are a few exceptions that are guaranteed to drop, most mounts have a low drop chance of under 1%.
This is also true for the “Reins of the Deathcharger”, which can be dropped by Baron Aurius Rivendare, the final boss of the Stratholme dungeon. The reins have a drop chance of 0.8%, making them a rarity. Numerous players farm this mount for weeks and months, but never have any luck. A dungeon group, on the other hand, leaves everyone green with envy.
What happened? A random group couldn’t believe their eyes as they looted the final boss in Stratholme. Not just one player received the coveted undead mount, not two – but a total of three players went home with a mount. A screenshot of this was quickly posted on Reddit to share the good fortune with the world.
Community shows jealousy: The initial reactions are quite envious and sometimes really harsh. One can read “Eat shit and die”, followed by a direct apology. Others, however, congratulate and praise the luck of the players, while they themselves have already made over 450 visits to the dungeon and are still dreaming of that mount.
Have you already obtained the mount from Baron Rivendare? Or have you had no luck and eventually just given up? After all, such a “run” at max level should only take a few minutes.

What new features are there? In addition to the 135 new cards, there is also a new keyword, namely Overkill. Cards with this keyword trigger an additional effect when they kill an opponent. For instance, a weapon with Overkill can strike multiple times, while a minion with Overkill gains more attack power each time. Many new cards use this keyword, which is sure to lead to numerous combinations.
6 card packs and a Legendary: If you log into Hearthstone in a timely manner, you can secure some bonuses right away. Because with the login you’ll receive 6 free card packs from Rastakhan’s Rumble. Additionally, there is (randomly) a legendary card from a random class as well as its corresponding “Spirit” card. This allows players to start experimenting with new decks right away.
When does the Solo Mode come? The new single-player adventure will, as usual, follow a few days later. It will go live next week, on December 13th, and will offer some challenges for solo players who, upon successful completion, will likely be rewarded with a handful of card packs.
Have you checked out Rastakhan’s Rumble? What cards have you secured? Or are you waiting for the Solo Mode?

Bethesda provides an outlook for 2019 in a statement about Fallout 76. There will be many events throughout the year.
Bethesda has given an outlook for the upcoming weeks and the year 2019 in a statement to the community. We learn what will change for Fallout 76 in the future.
We will tell you what 2019 holds for the Fallout community.
Weekly in-game events will be held in 2019
At the beginning of their statement, Bethesda mentions that the year 2018 is coming to an end and they would like to provide a small outlook for 2019.
Bethesda brings weekly events: At the beginning of 2019, Bethesda wants to hold small in-game events in Fallout 76 that will take place weekly.
What do the events change? The small events are meant to be different each time and offer changes to the normal gameplay.
The future of Fallout 76 will definitely be interesting with the in-game events. It remains to be seen when these events will be held in the new year.
New patches in December
The current patch mainly focuses on bug fixes.
What are the main changes of the new patch? What the new patch brings in terms of changes has already been explained. One of the biggest innovations is likely the expansion of the stash. This is increased from 400 items to 600 items.
Patch on December 11: On December 11, a patch is set to be released that will primarily improve your C.A.M.P. Your C.A.M.P.s should feel more like a home as a result. Additionally, the “Bulldozer” feature will be implemented. With this, you can get rid of stones, small trees, and bothersome small items.
Patch mid-December: Not much is known about another patch planned for December 18. It is supposed to primarily address the concerns of the community.
Are you looking forward to Fallout 76 next year? What will the events look like?
InFortnite: Battle Royale first snowflakes have been sighted today. Will the whole map be covered in snow soon? And what would that mean for the game?
What’s up with the snow? Observant players noticed something new on the spawn island in Fortnite today. Snowflakes were falling from the sky, but it was just very light snowfall and no snow has settled so far.
Nevertheless, a lot could change in the game soon.
Snowballs, Snowboarding, and White Christmas?
This could all change in the game soon: According to a leak from a few weeks ago, there are already assets for snow in the game, including sound files for footsteps in the snow.
Therefore, snowfall in Fortnite is likely to increase soon, and by the start of Season 7 on December 6, 2018, the map might be completely or partially covered in snow.
Many players on Reddit even wish for the entire map to shine in winter white. In addition, there are the following speculations:
Snowballs: Some players hope for snowball fights. At least a snowball action emote is likely to follow the throwable tomatoes in Season 6.
Footprints: When everything is covered in snow, one might be able to see footprints in the snow and track enemies. In the competitor game Darwin Project, this is an essential game element.
Winter Sports: In the teaser image for Season 7, a small figure can be seen snowboarding across the ice. It is likely that there will be opportunities to ski or snowboard in certain areas.
What’s up with the iceberg? The snowfall may be the first sign of the approaching iceberg that is heading towards the Fortnite map. Inside it, there is a frozen castle, where the lights recently turned on.
The iceberg might drift to the map and expand it with new terrain, which will likely also be snowy and full of ice.

In a few days, it will get extra cold in Overwatch with the Winter Wonderland 2018. The winter event starts soon, so put on your gloves.
Many players may still remember Winter Wonderland from previous years. This year, Blizzard is bringing back the winter event. It all starts on December 11.
Winter Wonderland 2018 in Overwatch – What’s inside?
On social media, the Overwatch team announced Winter Wonderland 2018. A short teaser trailer shows that the Blizzard World map transforms into an inviting Christmas setting. And it features a night theme instead of bright sunshine.
How long does the event last? The event starts on December 11 and will be active until January 2. So you have nearly 3 weeks to take advantage of the event bonuses.
What content does the winter event bring? Blizzard has held back details on the event. The community assumes that, as usual, there will be skins, other cosmetic items, and probably a Christmas map. However, nothing has been confirmed yet.
Is there a new brawl? Another question players are pondering. In a developer update from September 2018, Jeff Kaplan, the Overwatch Director, explains that while Blizzard would continue to create cosmetic items for seasonal events, the seasonal game modes would remain as they are. Instead of creating new ones, the focus would be more on balancing and quality-of-life improvements.
It seems that the popular mode Mei’s Yetijagd will return to Overwatch for these holidays.
Christmas Torbjörn from December 2016
We expect more info on this event as we approach the start date of December 11.
What do the fans say? On Reddit, excitement over the teaser is high. Player gallantgrift writes: “Looks like they are going for a Christmas theme instead of just winter. Yay!”
Other players are already expressing skin wishes: “I want a snowball Hammond. That’s all,” writes Nightzio. Do you also have a few skins you would be excited about for the event?
In the Fortnite: Battle Royale the 2nd teaser for Season 7 has been released. It showcases two cool new game contents that should shake up the gameplay quite a bit.
What can be seen in the 2nd teaser? After Teaser 1 showed a dark figure, Teaser 2 addresses a small detail from the first teaser. There was a small snowboarder visible. It seems to be one of the new skins, because in the 2nd teaser you see the snowboarder up close.
It is a figure with an animal head on a snowboard. The head has large ears, possibly from a fox, wolf, or cat-like creature. Foxes would certainly fit with the already known character Drift from Season 5.
Zip-Lines and Snowboards
What does the snowboard mean? The snowboard figure is certainly one of the upcoming skins from the Battle Pass of Season 7. The snowboard is a clear hint at a new mode of transportation that you will likely get in Season 7. This should allow you to move quickly across the likely snowy areas of the map.
Zip-lines are also coming: Another detail from the image is a small figure in the background swinging along a zip-line. This is likely to mean that there will be such zip-lines at certain locations in the game. With the zip-lines, quick travels to the other side of the line could be possible.
Players are excited about Season 7
This is how fans are reacting: Players are currently hotly discussing what the zip-lines and snowboards might mean. Many players are particularly looking forward to the winter sports equipment and the speed boost that the game should gain from this.
Some players are also astonished at how audacious Epic would be to “steal” from the battle royale competition Ring of Elysium, since they already had snowboards in play before.
Does the new skin resemble Black Panther or Ninja? One player interprets the first skin as a kind of Black Panther look-alike. Another player claims to have recognized the popular streamer Ninja, who should finally get his skin.
The hint for the 3rd teaser: Another interesting detail is that the teasers seem to zoom one level deeper into the background of the previous image. In Teaser 1, the snowboard figure was in the background; in Teaser 2, it would be the zip-line guy.
Teaser 3 should thus show the zip-liner and in the background another new mystery. However, we will probably learn more only tomorrow evening when the 3rd teaser comes.

a weapon ornament for the scout rifle MIDA Multi-Tool
In a Twitch stream, the developers showcase the new map, vehicle modifications, and much more. We let you know what you can look forward to.
Server stability prevented the new update
During the stream, Community Managers Dan Mitre and Jeff Braddock, along with map designer Joe Shackelford and Dev Manager Ben Turner, discussed the postponement of the update and the new features it brings.
Why was the update stopped? It was initially supposed to be released today, December 4th. However, it was halted at the last moment.
The developers stated that server stability was poor and they could not rule out a server crash.
In order for players to fully enjoy the new chapter, the developers withdrew the update and now plan to work on ensuring stability along with the update.
When is the Overture update coming? The developers are working hard to get the update into the game soon. They have already prepared an improved version of the new update and want to test it now.
Developers showcased the new map and improvements
In the nearly two-hour livestream on Twitch, the developers showed viewers what is coming.
New map will be huge: The new map “Tank Storm” is a must for tank fans.
It is the largest map in Battlefield 5 so far and is designed for a massive tank battle. Up to seven tanks per team can fight against each other on the map. Infantry can take out tanks using anti-tank traps.
An insight into the new story: The developers also showed a small preview of the new story “The Last Tiger”. In this, you play as a German soldier trying to defeat American troops with your tank.

The patch notes for the Destiny 2 update 1.30 / 2.1.1.1
The official patch notes for the latest Destiny 2 update are now available. Below we have linked the German change log for you:
In Ashes of Creation, the theme of world-building plays a very important role. Through this system, cities can be built and houses constructed. However, before getting to your own house, one must first collectively develop a location.
The entire world of Ashes of Creation is divided into delineated zones. Each zone has a so-called Node, a central location where cities can be constructed later. Depending on the environment, these Nodes will have different focuses, which we will discuss at the end of the article.
How do I get my own house?
Every activity in a zone, whether questing, gathering, or raiding, influences the development of the Node. Only after a certain period can it be developed into cities.
When does the Node become a city? There are a total of five levels that such a Node can achieve:
With the achievement of the third level, building can start in a Node. However, initially, there are only a few building spots. The further a city develops, the more space there will be in it. It should take many weeks to develop into a large metropolis.
This is what a Node looks like as a Metropolis
The first own house: The first houses are reserved for only a few players. They can be bought after the development into a village, just like in real life. Players will also be able to sell houses to other players if they wish to move to another Node.
The first houses only have one room and are not particularly luxurious. However, they are located in the open world and are not instanced.
Concept of a larger house in Ashes of Creation
The city continues to develop: The larger the city becomes, the larger the houses will be as well. Already constructed buildings will automatically grow with it. This is intended to reward players who invest early in a small Node.
With the expansion, additional building space will also be made available. Here, players can settle again, though again in the small 1-room houses.
Visually, a city adapts to the faction that controls it. If it belongs to humans, they have a different style than if the city belongs to elves.
Town – A Node of Level 4
What can I do with my house?
Every player can own one house per server and can decorate and furnish it as they wish. There will be furniture available that can be freely placed. An important aspect will also be the social life that one can shift to their own house.
Additionally, one will be able to use their house for their own professions and showcase their achievements. The further the city progresses, the more opportunities there will be with the house.
Can I lose my house? Since Nodes can also be attacked, you can lose your own house again. In an attack, the smaller houses will be destroyed first, and subsequently, the larger ones.
However, your progress is not completely lost. Should your house be destroyed, there is a template system that automatically saves the furnishing and layout of it. You can then set everything up again in a new house.
The Apartment System
Anyone who, like in real life, does not have enough money for their own house can rely on so-called apartments. These are very similar to the basic system of the houses.
What is different about apartments? Apartments do not exist in the open world, but are completely instanced. There is a location from which all players’ apartments can be entered.
They permanently consist of only one room, although the size of the room increases with the expansion of the city. Since you are not dependent on the limited space, which drives up the price, another system is used.
The more apartments a city owns, the more expensive it becomes to buy a new one. Additionally, the apartments will be destroyed before the small houses during an attack. However, the storage system still applies here.
The city hall of a larger Node
I will be a tavern owner!
If someone does not want to dream of a house, they can go even further in Ashes of Creation and operate a tavern or a forge. From the so-called “Freeholds”, only one building per account can be constructed.
How do Freeholds work? Freeholds can only be built if one has the appropriate blueprint and the necessary materials. They are intended to be expensive and can be placed by players in Nodes at special locations.
Owners of the buildings can name them, just like with ships. As the cities expand, Freeholds should also contribute to progress. Taverns will unlock new quests for players or provide logging camps for resources.
What Freeholds are there? The following buildings have already been announced:
Forges
Farms
Logging Camps
Inns
Windmills
Shrines
Stables
Taverns
A farm from the Pre-Alpha
Who leads a city?
For a city to function properly, it needs a leader. Each Node has a different focus. There are:
Divine Nodes
Economic Nodes
Military Nodes
Scientific Nodes
Depending on the Node, the leader is determined differently. In divine and scientific Nodes, leaders are elected democratically. In an economic Node, you purchase the leadership. Those wishing to rule in a military Node fight for it in a gladiator arena.
The political system will play an important role, as we have already mentioned to you in this article.
How can I play Ashes of Creation?
There will soon be a PvP spin-off of the game that you can play for free. Ashes of Creation: Apocalypse is primarily a test environment for balancing and server stability.
The main game is still in an alpha phase, which you can currently access only if you purchase a package in the shop for $250.00.
More about the current state of Ashes of Creation:
Bethesda has released the patch for Fallout 76 The patch seems very extensive, although its size appears tiny, especially compared to the massive Day 1 patch.
What does the patch bring? The patch increases the size of the storage, fixes some bugs, and adjusts the balance of weapons and enemies. There are also several quality of life improvements.
The next patch for Fallout 76 will be released on December 4th for PC, PS4, and Xbox One. It will be approximately 36 MB for PC and about 3 GB for PS4 and Xbox One.
Update from December 4th, 5:55 PM: The patch has now been released. On PS4, the update requires 4.5 GB.
Fallout 76: Patch notes from December 4th in English
This is changing in storage: The size of your personal storage will increase from 400 units to 600 units. This allows you to store one and a half times as many items as before.
You can access your storage in Fallout 76 from any storage container in the world. You can set up a storage container in your C.A.M.P. or use the public storage containers at train stations.
This is changing in creatures: Higher-level enemies now give fewer experience points than before. The XP reward has been reduced.
Instanced bosses should also now drop two to four items per boss. How much loot you receive is determined by the difficulty and level of the boss. Bosses are particularly hard, legendary enemies.
These technical innovations are now available: On PC, the frame rate is no longer limited. Players have long complained that their machines could deliver more graphical performance than Fallout 76 allowed due to the limit.
not receive duplicates of skill cards anymore when leveling them up.
The mutations “Charged” and “Unstable Isotope” no longer grant additional health. Players who are AFK for more than 10 minutes will lose connection to the server.

With its own store for games, Epic aims to attract new PC players. And possibly take them away from Steam – right next to Fortnite. In doing so, they criticize Valve.
This is Epic’s plan: Many of you know Epic as the creator of Fortnite. The free battle royale game is installed on many computers. Epic is now leveraging this reach, this installation base, to launch its own shop for online games.
The advantage: Instead of taking 30% like Valve (Steam), Epic’s store only takes 12% of the revenue per game sold. 88% goes to the developers of the game.
A clear challenge to Steam, which is reiterated in an interview with a jab. They accuse Steam and Valve of demanding too high a share of the revenue.
The Epic Games Store – What is known?
This is what Epic is doing now: Epic is building a new launcher, into which the games store will be integrated.
What does the store do differently? Epic’s store divides the revenue 88% to 12%. 88 to the game’s developers, 12 to Epic for providing the platform.
In contrast to Steam’s 70/30 version, this is a clear advantage for the developers of the distributed games.
When will the Epic Games Store launch? It is expected to launch “soon” with selected titles. Throughout 2019, the selection will be further expanded.
Clear challenge to Valve: Too high markup
What does Epic say about this? “During the duration of Fortnite, we learned a lot about the costs of operating a digital store,” explains Tim Sweeney, founder and CEO of Epic Games, to MCV.
“In our analysis, the 30% stores markup their costs by around 300 to 400 percent.”
Sweeney believes that a store can be profitable with only 12% – and does not need to demand 30%. A clear jab at Steam and its operator “Valve,” who want 30%. They have calculated the 12%, explains Sweeney.
There is also a graphic comparing games using Unreal Engine with the competing engine Unity on Steam and Epic Games.
In Epic’s store, it doesn’t matter which engine the games use that are distributed there. However, if games use the Unreal Engine, Epic waives the licensing fee.
“We believe that creators (game developers and also content creators) are responsible for the tremendous growth and dynamics of the gaming industry and should receive the lion’s share of the profits from game sales,” Sweeney says to MCV. “Companies offering support services like engines, stores, platforms, and payment processing are only there to help. They should also be paid accordingly.
More details will be revealed during the Game Awards on Thursday.
A new trailer has been released for the new Survival MMO Population Zero. The game reminds players of No Man’s Sky. Additionally, you can now participate in the pre-alpha tests.
What is Population Zero? This game is another survival MMO like Fallout: 76, ARC, or Conan Exiles. Here you are transported to an alien planet that you need to colonize. It involves a fierce struggle with other colonists who compete with you for resources and living space. The game divides you into different factions, and you can even become a leader.
That’s why Population Zero reminds players of No Man’s Sky as an MMO: The world of Population Zero, with its colorful, vibrant colors and bizarre flora, is reminiscent of No Man’s Sky. Several players have also compared the trailer on MMORPG.com to this game.
So if you want a game in the direction of No Man’s Sky as a survival MMO, you should definitely keep an eye on Population Zero. However, in Population Zero, you will likely be limited to one planet at first, but you will get to know it in detail.
When will Population Zero be released? The survival MMO is expected to enter closed beta in the second quarter of 2019.
How can I play right now? The pre-alpha test phase is already underway, and for at least 20 dollars, you can purchase a founder pack on the Population Zero homepage and join in right now. In doing so, you will also help test and develop the game systems.

Anyone who was planning to earn some specialties for their account in World of Warcraft: Classic is out of luck.
There will basically be no “cross-rewards” between the current version of World of Warcraft: Battle for Azeroth and World of Warcraft: Classic. So, if someone finds a nice weapon in the Classic version of WoW, they will not unlock it for their Battle.net account and their collection. WoW: Classic is intended to remain a closed system.
Two separate games: In the official forum, Community Manager Ythisens explained that “Classic” and “Retail” (the current version) are two completely separate games until something else is announced. That is not currently the plan, and the current opinion on this matter is “rock solid”.
Some players are disappointed: For some players, the approach of World of Warcraft: Classic was primarily motivating because they hoped to earn old rewards for the current version of World of Warcraft. They wanted to obtain the T3 sets from Naxxramas, which are no longer available in the current version (or only for several million gold and with much luck in the black market auction house).
Exception for Collector’s Edition pets? It is still under discussion whether players who owned a Collector’s Edition back then would also be granted their special pets again in “Classic”. After all, these pets exist in the Retail version of the game, and the license they acquired back then applies. This topic still needs to be discussed internally.
What do you think about this strict separation between Classic and the current WoW? Is it good for rewards to retain their value from back then? Or should it be relaxed later?
