Tragosso – The eternally sad Pokémon
Haven’t you ever wondered why Tragosso wears this skull mask? The story behind this mask is very sad.
Whose skull bone is it? Tragosso wears the skull of its deceased mother, Knogga. When Team Rocket came to Lavandia to catch Pokémon, they also wanted to catch Tragosso and Knogga. Knogga protected her child and was killed in the battle with Team Rocket.
Once only bones were left of Knogga, Tragosso returned to its mother and put on the skull bone. Since then, no one has ever seen a Tragosso without the mask.

How does local multiplayer play? For those who don’t want to play alone, they invite friends and engage in epic rounds in local multiplayer. The action of the game is even greater compared to its predecessors, and the fights are even more energetic. This mode is also often praised. However, as soon as one wants to play online, the situation looks quite different.
Where is the problem with the game?
This problem comes with the game: All the criticism has not included one game mode: the online mode. Players are posting outright hateful tirades on various forums about this mode. On Reddit, in the largest forum for game news, it is currently even one of the hottest topics: “The online features for Smash Bros Ultimate are absolutely awful.”

The online mode costs money. Players feel cheated for having to endure long waiting times and faulty lobbies in a paid online mode.
This is why the online mode is so important: Super Smash Bros. has relied on multiplayer since day 1. Hardly anyone likes to play against NPCs, much more fun is had when fighting real opponents. However, when one is alone, the online mode provides relief. There you can continue to fight against other players without being physically present with them. This should also be standard today.
Nintendo has always had problems: Many players see all of this with humor. “A company with a history of poor online modes is now charging for online service and still remains bad? I am shocked,” wrote “cacklerz” on Reddit. The online mode has historically been bad in most Nintendo games and has been criticized. Now there is no improvement.

The once-great MMO studio Daybreak seems to be in crisis again. The company behind MMOs and MMORPGs like H1Z1, Planetside 2, DC Universe Online, or Everquest is said to have laid off 70 people. Back in April, 70 employees had to leave. The former CEO raised serious accusations on Twitter.
This is what Daybreak officially says: There have been layoffs at Daybreak Game Company (formerly Sony Online Entertainment). The company confirmed this to Polygon.
Daybreak did not provide details on how many employees were laid off. However, it is said that the layoffs were necessary to optimize the company structure, so that they can achieve success in the coming years.
They want to help those affected as much as they can.
On Twitter, there is already an initiative under the hashtag #DaybreakJobs to give new perspectives to the employees who lost their jobs. In the past, some former employees of the canceled Everquest Next ended up at “Ashes of Creation,” which is considered a spiritual successor to Everquest Next.

Former CEO is furious on Twitter

Project was on hold for a long time: The mod was originally supposed to be developed in 2012. After several years of sporadic progress, the project was put on hold. Now, user Fled1 has picked up the project again and downloaded a new version.
Which areas are available? Basically, the implementation is still in its infancy and only a few areas are available. The new online game Anthem launched its alpha yesterday. There are some issues. But the boss warns: Talking about it already violates the NDA. There are reports about an unfortunate person who streamed Anthem and lost their Origin library for it.
On December 8th, the alpha of Anthem started and players have a strong desire to talk about it.
In the reddit for Anthem and also at our site MeinMMO, there was talk about the tests all day long. But apparently, BioWare does not want that. Actually, the conversation was supposed to take place in a secret forum, but it is buggy.
This is how the alpha went yesterday: Especially at the beginning of the testing phase, there were major technical issues getting into the servers and getting Anthem to run.
Since the alpha was online only twice for three hours yesterday, many players were trying to access the Anthem servers. They wanted to get into a javelin for the first time. And the servers had problems.
These “connection difficulties” dominated the first part of the day.
This caused trouble: Many comments say they experienced a “black screen” after which nothing further happened. A workaround circulated on MeinMMO to delete the save game. That apparently helped many.
Then it got better: By the evening, things improved and comments started coming in about how much fun Anthem is.
Then there was talk about the game, although that is actually forbidden. Because a NDA, a non-disclosure agreement, is still hanging over Anthem.
BioWare does not want public talk about Anthem

Most weapons can be used with or without the coveted power armors. Only “unarmed” weapons, such as melee weapons, are generally excluded from this rule.

Hunting Rifle

I am currently playing mostly solo on PC and wandering through Appalachia at level 65. I frequently have to fight in impact zones of atomic bombs with mutated enemies and have found joy in heavy weapons.
The Gatling is a hand-operated weapon, mostly known from the Wild West. Heavy projectiles are fired by turning a crank. This heavy weapon also has several modification options.

The important side weapons

I always have a serrated machete and a bowie knife with me.
Melee weapons do not require ammunition and deal significant damage even without using perks to enhance them. They don’t need to be reloaded and hit in a narrow, conical area in front of the player.
They are therefore always a great advantage when many enemies rush at the same time, and you don’t want to waste your time reloading.
For Dead by Daylight, a major change is coming. The horror game will soon have its own servers. We reveal what this means.
The colleagues from Polygon spoke in an interview with the Game Director of Dead by Daylight, Mathieu Cote. The conversation primarily focused on the new killer Legion, but in the end, Cote shared an important piece of information that players have been waiting for years: Dead by Daylight will have dedicated servers.
What are dedicated servers? Dedicated servers are provided directly by Behaviour, the developer and publisher of Dead by Daylight. This means that matches are no longer hosted “locally” by individual players, but all players can rely on reliable servers.
The killer is currently the host: So far, games in Dead by Daylight have taken place over a “peer-to-peer” connection, meaning players were directly connected to each other. The respective killer was the host of the game. This meant that latency and thus the smooth gameplay flow were heavily dependent on the killer’s internet connection. If the killer had a poor connection, it resulted in severe lags and the match became virtually unplayable.
“Lag-switching” has been criticized for a long time: Some players have used the peer-to-peer connection as a form of “hack”. If the killer simply pulled out the LAN cable from the PC, he could roam through the game world for a few seconds, injuring survivors and taking them down while the survivors were stuck in a long lag. Then, he plugged the LAN cable back into the PC and could sacrifice the corresponding survivor. This allowed killers to gain an unfair advantage.
The community is excited but with some doubts: The player base of Dead by Daylight is very pleased with this announcement. Dedicated servers should fundamentally improve the gaming experience for all players. However, players hope that there will still be the option to host matches themselves. Because only then could Dead by Daylight still be played if the game “dies” in a few years and wouldn’t depend on official servers – as it was the case with Evolve.
