The Deathclaw Island is one of the locations in Fallout 76 that gives little clues about what actually happened there. Where is it and what can you see there? Our little guide explains where to find the island and what to expect there.
Welcome to Deathclaw Island
The island lies on the largest river in Appalachia. At first glance, there is not much to see. It appears to be abandoned. But its name is not without reason.
Where is Deathclaw Island? This location is northwest of Vault 76. Follow the river north, and you should find it sooner or later.
The way there is not particularly dangerous; only a few ghouls and mini-bots will get in your way. The deathclaw there is level 21 and legendary, so it deals correspondingly high damage.
So make sure you are in a similar level range if you want to kill it.
Beware, the island is inhabited: It is not called Deathclaw Island for nothing. In the center of the small area is the nest of a deathclaw. It behaves calmly until you get too close to the nest.
As long as you keep a safe distance from the nest, you can explore the island in peace.
What else is there to discover? Not far from the nest, you come across the site of a picnic that probably went wrong. Here a couple wanted to have some peace and were possibly surprised by the deathclaw.
In one of the lunch boxes, you might find a recipe for a dish if you are lucky.
The inconspicuous island has probably attracted more than just picnickers. On the western side of the island, you can find a speedboat that has gotten stuck on the shore. There is a red loot box on the boat.
By the shore, there is a safe that requires lockpicking level 3 to open. Next to it, you can find shovels, bags, and human corpses. Whatever happened here, someone probably wanted to bury their treasures on the island. That certainly went horribly wrong.
Besides the picnic couple and the safe owners, there was probably also a fisherman who got too close to the island. He died still in his raft near the northern shore. What exactly happened is only a guess.
At this shore, there is a wooden frame with a bench. If you’re lucky, there might be a bobblehead there. It might also have fallen under the bench.
A good place for farming: As we mentioned in our guide to black titanium, Deathclaw Island is a good place for farming. The deathclaw is not too difficult to defeat.

Leveling faster from power level 600 – How to reach the new cap of 650
These activities will advance you faster after 600: Guardians who have already reached or exceeded the former level cap of 600 have limited options if they want to make large jumps with powerful gear.
While each piece of powerful gear will be 2-3 points above your overall power level, you will only receive items that are above that level from the following sources:
weapons from radiant weapon bounties by Ada-1 (forged weapons)
Only these items provide a significant power boost, as they are usually between 5 and 7 levels above your average. For instance, if your character has a power level of 600 and you decrypt a Prime Engram, the reward will typically be somewhere between 605 and 607.
Powerful rewards from all other sources will only give you rewards that are 2-3 points above your average.
Also note that the height of the reward is calculated based on your maximum possible power level. You do not necessarily have to have the highest items equipped.
What you should consider when playing multiple characters: If you play multiple characters, you should get the forged weapons as late as possible on your first Guardian.
By transferring the weapons, you can push your second or even third character further and get the most out of leveling.
The recommended order for activities: This strategy is generally recommended for all players who are in the leveling process – not just for Guardians above 600.
If your power level is balanced, meaning all parts are relatively close together (for example, between 640 and 644), then you should use a source that will give you a significant boost. In such a case, it is best to open a Prime Engram. That will advance you the most, and the remaining powerful rewards, which do not provide such large boosts, may already turn out to be higher.
If your power level is somewhat far apart (for example, between 616 and 624, but with a single item at 600), then you should first complete activities that provide “low” powerful items as rewards, hoping that the right item (in this case, the class item) is among them. An item with a high boost would be wasted here and would result in little or no upgrade for your power level.
If you have comparatively little time and cannot pay attention to such details, then simply try to complete as many milestones as possible each week, which reward you with powerful rewards.
Leveling faster up to power level 600 – Here’s how
Different activities in Destiny 2 have different soft caps, meaning intermediate limits that determine how high the rewards can be.
If you are new to the game or simply have not progressed to 600 as an established player, you should focus on the following activities to reach the hard cap, which is the current max power level:
Sources for strong powerful rewards (+5) under 520:
all daily milestones
the flashpoint
weekly crucible, strike, and gambit milestones
clan engrams
After 520, these activities no longer provide such big boosts, but are still effective. All subsequent activities also provide significant boosts up to your respective soft cap and can be used for leveling earlier.

Nightfall strike
Nightfall strike with 100,000 points
weekly story mission from Petra Venj
Sources for strong powerful rewards (+5) under 560:
Reset of the infamy rank in Gambit

Can you level further when everything is done?
If you have completed all milestones that provide you with powerful gear as a reward, there are still some ways to progress in level until the next weekly reset:
Grinding for rank rewards: You can dive into PvP or Gambit and grind there for rank-ups. For this, you will receive loot that will significantly advance you up to 520.
Afterwards, you can only advance a few points. Remember that only full rank-ups provide high rewards. The intermediate ranks do not give you power drops.
Leveling with additional characters: You can level with a second or even third character parallel, which is roughly at the same level as your main character.
This way, you can just switch weapons after you have maxed out one character and continue leveling with your next lower Guardian, who receives a significant boost from the high-level weapons. If you even do this with a third character, you can make a significant jump upwards – and that within a single week.
Keep in mind that you need different character classes for this. Characters of the same class will not advance you further. This method is most effective if you play all three Guardian classes.

What’s coming in the next few months? MapleStory 2 has already undergone some changes since its release. However, the coming months will bring much more. In general, the developers explain:

To Fortnite: Battle Royale surprisingly the update 7.10 has been released. What it contains, you can find out here.
This is included in the new update 7.10: The main highlight of the update is a new game mode event for Battle Royale. Weapons have been changed and some additional adjustments have been made. In Save the World, there are now the Frostnites and also new weapons and heroes.
The Features of Patch 7.10 in PvP
Event – 14 Days of Fortnite: The event “14 Days of Fortnite” comes with the patch but starts later. Every 2 days, a large team mode will rotate, and every 24 hours, a smaller one. There’s a lot of variety to be had.
Weapon Change – Heavy Assault Rifle: The heavy assault rifle now only shoots accurately when you aim. The aiming accuracy while aiming has been increased by 10% and remains 10% higher as long as you stand still. The vertical recoil has been reduced by 6% and the base accuracy by 30%. Accuracy is 60% lower while jumping and falling.
There were also minor changes:
You can reactivate the glider only from a height of 576 units instead of the previous 1,000 when jumping from the airplane.
Vehicles now skid on ice.
No-scope kills are given special recognition.
Planes take more damage when ramming objects and buildings; boosting only provides 50% damage reduction, not 100% anymore.
As already known, players now take 50 instead of 25 points of damage when your plane explodes.
Several bugs on the zip lines have been fixed.
This is changing in Creative mode: There are 4 new winter islands and you will receive prefabricated buildings with a winter theme. There are also numerous bug fixes and additional features in the creative mode. This way, you can now place even more winter-themed objects and even set up guards that will shoot at you!
What is missing?The snowboard! The update 7.10 was supposed to bring the new driftboard into the game. However, there were problems and Epic first postponed the update. Now the update has come after all, but the board has likely been removed for safety reasons.
The Patch Highlights of Update 7.10 in PvE
New Mode – Frostnite: Here, you have to survive as long as possible while enemies and the cold attack you. Therefore, you have to regularly throw new BluGlo into the oven.
New Weapons: There is now a medieval set consisting of an assault rifle, pistol, shotgun, and axe in winter llamas. The revolver “Gingerbread Gun” is available in Frostnite.
New Heroes: From winter llamas, you can loot the heroes “Cheerful Headhunter” and “Sergeant Winter”. In the event shop, starting December 20th, there’s Cloaked Shadow. In Frostnite, you can get Jingle Jess and Gunner Krampus.
Further Adjustments:
You can now build items at lower levels.
Heroes have a new value called armor, which reduces their damage taken. Many items and skills have been adjusted to the new value.
From midnight on December 19th, the 14 Days of Fortnite will start. This gives a new festive quest every day.
The new update 7.10 is already on its way and Fortnite is down. The corresponding server maintenance for Fortnite has already begun on all platforms (PC/Mac, Xbox One, PS4, Switch, iOS, Android). Maintenance brings a new patch. When are the servers offline and when will Fortnite be playable again?

Fortnite servers go offline – When will they be back online?
When will the server maintenance for update 7.10 be finished? Experiences from the past show that Epic usually takes between 2 to 3 hours to deploy new patches. By 2 PM at the latest, you should be able to log in again today, on December 18th.
Originally, the update was postponed due to last-minute issues, but now it has surprisingly been rolled out again.
It is not known whether this circumstance will lead to longer maintenance.
Special Event “14 Days of Fortnite” is coming
What will the update bring for the Battle Royale mode? Unfortunately, the new hoverboards will not be included, as Epic has postponed them at short notice.
However, over the next two weeks, you will have the opportunity to experience old and new limited-time events. Epic has called this a special event, the “14 Days of Fortnite”.
What will the update bring for the Save the World mode? With the new update 7.10, there will be the possibility to craft items in lower rarities. Players are particularly excited about the new Frostnite event, which will offer new challenges and rewards.

Hytale is based on the largest Minecraft server: The founding of the developer studio Hypixel is largely financed by the largest community server of Minecraft, which had more than 14 million players at one point.

So it appears that Atlas will start a little late on December 21 at 12:00 AM. However, keep an eye on the Steam page just in case. After all, Atlas has already been postponed twice.

What is the price of Atlas? The price has not yet been determined and will only be announced at the start of the Early Access phase.
Choose your server: After the download, you will create an account and then choose whether you want to play on the PvP or PvE server. Depending on whether you are interested in fighting other players, you will choose one of the servers.
What does the Early Access version offer? According to the developers, the Early Access version of Atlas is fundamentally feature-complete. This means you can essentially play the entire MMO.

YouTuber “Eroktic” is currently in some trouble. According to Battlestate Games, the developer studio of the online shooter Escape from Tarkov, he spread misinformation in his videos.
Furthermore, the studio accuses the YouTuber of reporting negatively on the game, which is why the “strikes” against him are said to be justified. “Eroktic” now risks losing his channel.
Developers take videos offline
What happened? Battlestate Games had 47 videos of YouTuber “Eroktic” taken offline that were about the online shooter Escape from Tarkov. According to Battlestate, some videos contained misinformation about an alleged leak of user data that never happened.
Since these reports harmed the company, drastic measures had to be taken. Copyright strikes followed, taking the videos offline.
Now Battlestate is reviewing the other videos. If these are “okay,” the studio will lift the strikes against the YouTuber. However, the developers have discovered a negative sentiment towards Escape from Tarkov in many videos. The studio does not appreciate that.
What threatens “Eroktic”? Due to the Copyright strikes, the YouTuber could lose his channel. After three strikes, YouTube can suspend a channel, delete all videos, and prohibit the YouTuber from creating more channels. This could also happen to “Eroktic” if Battlestate maintains the strikes. The company feels justified in this.
How does the community react? Many YouTubers show solidarity with “Eroktic”. While there is understanding that videos containing misinformation were taken offline, videos that report negatively on the game should not lead to a copyright strike.
Some “Emissaries,” content creators supported by Battlestate, have resigned in disappointment. They simply no longer feel comfortable creating content for a company that distributes copyright strikes because it is dissatisfied with the reporting.
What is the problem?Battlestate Games makes clear the position YouTubers have – namely, that they are essentially dependent on the goodwill of the copyright holder. Let’s plays and similar videos still operate in a legal gray area. This type of video is basically only tolerated by the rights holders.
As the situation around Escape from Tarkov now shows, a game studio can intervene at any time and distribute copyright strikes if there is too negative reporting on a title. This greatly restricts the freedoms of YouTubers.
A combination of certain perks and mutations allows you to float in Fallout 76.

The combination of these “abilities” along with team members who have the perk card “Strange in Numbers” allows you to fly.
Can you really fly? It’s not actual flying. You just jump extremely high and then float slowly to the ground, which looks like flying. You cannot gain more height after your first jump.

What steps are being taken against Epic Games? Since the dance is the intellectual property of Carlton actor Alfonso Ribeiro, he has apparently now filed a lawsuit against the Fortnite developer Epic Games. Additionally, Ribeiro is claiming ownership of the dance and is also suing 2K, the publisher of the sports game NBA 2K, as they are also using the Carlton Dance.
Ribeiro’s lawsuit is also virtually identical to the lawsuit of rapper 2 Milly and is also being brought by the same law firm.
How promising are the lawsuits? Copyrights on dances and other moves are hardly upheld in court, as body movements are difficult to copyright. Only a complete dance choreography has according to Wired so far had a chance of success, but not individual dance moves.
Therefore, similar lawsuits in the past have had little success. Not even Michael Jackson was able to patent his famous Moon Walk.
Moreover, according to Ribeiro himself in 2015, the Carlton Dance is also not solely his invention. Rather, he combined the dance from various moves by Bruce Springsteen, Courtney Cox, and Eddie Murphy.
What does Epic say about the lawsuits? In response to inquiries from various media, Epic Games did not provide a comment. They do not comment on ongoing legal matters.
