There will be two demos for Anthem before the game’s release. The developers have revealed new details about the test versions. You will have it a bit easier in the demo.
What will be easier in the demo? When you test Anthem in the demo, you will progress faster. According to Michael Gamble, the Lead Producer of Anthem, the XP curve in the demo is adjusted. You will level up faster and start at level 10. You will not carry over progress from the demo to the game.
The developers aim to ensure that players can earn everything faster to extensively test the demo.
Quick cash: You will also find it easier to earn money that you gain through playing. You can spend the coins on cosmetics to customize your Javelin visually. Players will receive 100 coins at the start of the demo to spend on cosmetics.
You will also see parts of Fort Tarsis. This is the single-player hub where you experience the story of Anthem. Here you can also customize your character and the Javelins.
Most can be played solo: According to Michael Gamble, most of the demo can be played solo. You can explore the world of Anthem as you wish.
It might be that the Strongholds are not suitable for solo play. The developers have already mentioned that the raids in Anthem are meant to be particularly challenging and designed for groups. There will be one Stronghold in the demo.
Matchmaking is available: You can use the matchmaking system if you are looking for specific groups. It will also be possible to turn off matchmaking.
How do you feel about the demo being a bit easier?
Everything you need to know about the two demos of Anthem can be found in our hub:
The Whisper of the Worm is a powerful sniper in Destiny 2, but its quest is only active on weekends. Soon, players may have even more opportunities to get their hands on the popular weapon.
What is it about? In the Destiny 2 subreddit, a Guardian expressed the desire for more opportunities to obtain the exotic sniper rifle, Whisper of the Worm.
The player suggested that, similar to the weekly challenges in the Shattered Realm, access to the portal for the quest on Io could be available using Queen’s Foil tincture from the Dreaming City. Another suggestion was that players could open the quest portal anytime if they have already unlocked it.
The post received many comments and support from other Guardians. This prompted Community Manager Cozmo to hint at possible changes to the quest.
The Drifter is working on a way to gain more access to the anomaly on Io. He says he’s getting closer…
What could this mean? The mention of the Drifter, who is typically responsible for Gambit, could just be a nice integration of the lore. On the other hand, it might also hint at a possible timeline for upcoming changes: After the Season of the Forge, in which we currently are, the Season of the Drifter is supposed to follow. Perhaps the Drifter will have completed his tinkering by then, and players will have more chances to access the quest for Whisper of the Worm.
How does the quest proceed? Currently, the quest for the Whisper of the Worm is only active from Friday 7 PM to Monday 7 PM each week. Players need to hope for a public event with Taken at a specific location on Io and defeat a certain enemy to open a portal.
With these great sweets, you probably have the best experience in Pokémon GO. A player made them for Community Days in Pokémon GO.
What happened? A player shared pictures of snacks she baked for Community Days in Pokémon GO on Reddit. These are not just plain muffins or cookies, but Pokémon-style sweets. And they are made with so much love for detail that every Pokémon fan’s heart surely beats faster.
Homemade Pokémon GO sweets – They look so delicious
These are the sweets: A user aryamao shared pictures of these special treats. They come in the form of the most famous Pokémon Bulbasaur, Charmander, Squirtle, Pikachu, but also Mareep, Dratini, or Eevee.
A special highlight: Even the shiny forms of the individual Pokémon were made. The little snacks are filled with chocolate or caramel.
How long does it take to make? The sweet Pokémon have received a lot of praise from the gaming community. “A tray with a few dozen of these Pokémon takes about 6 hours to make,” writes aryamao. “longer for the more difficult ones (especially Larvitar with the tails, agh!)”
Downside of the sweets: On Reddit, players comment that they can hardly eat these snacks. They look way too cute to put in their mouths. To this, aryamao writes: “My husband thinks the same. I have to decapitate them so they don’t look so cute anymore before he eats them. That’s kind of weird?”
This is how the snacks were distributed: The Pokémon sweets all fit the theme of the Community Days in Pokémon GO. Because each of the candy monsters had already had a Community Day in Pokémon GO. During the events, they were also distributed to fellow players.
Special feature for Halloween: Some players asked aryamao if she ever made sweets as Slowpoke tails. She did that for Halloween 2018. The “Slowpoke Tail Pops” the trainer showed along with her Team Rocket costume.
What are Community Days? These events were first launched a year ago, in January 2018. Since then, the events have taken place once a month and always revolve around a special Pokémon. For example, you could catch Pikachu with the Surf attack or Squirtle with sunglasses.
The goal of the Community Days is to bring local players together during an event. Since everyone is catching the special monsters or going for the shiny hunt, you often meet other Pokémon players. During these events, aryamao distributed the sweets in the suitable design for the event Pokémon to the trainers of the community on-site. Sweet, right?
Such cool community actions are popular in Pokémon GO. This trainer made the Community Day especially unique for Christmas:
The head of the gaming studio Gearbox (Borderlands) is involved in a legal dispute. The studio’s former lawyer accuses Randy Pitchford of having received 12 million dollars under the table. Pitchford is said to have lost a USB stick containing confidential information and his private porn collection.
Who is suing? Wade Callender is suing. He was the lawyer for Gearbox from 2010 to 2018. He filed a lawsuit against Pitchford on December 21, 2018, accusing him of various offenses. He allegedly violated contracts.
The lawsuit comes a month after Callender himself was sued by Gearbox. Gearbox accuses him of fraud. Callender allegedly misused his credit card access to cover personal expenses. He allegedly paid for a family vacation or a membership in a gun club with the company card.
There are also numerous other allegations against Callender.
This is the main point against Pitchford: In the lawsuit, Callender states that Pitchford negotiated a “secret, personal” bonus with the publisher Take-Two in 2016. This allegedly involved advance payments.
As a result, he allegedly received 12 million dollars directly for his company “Pitchford Entertainment Media Magic, LLC.” He allegedly smuggled this money past the employees of Gearbox. This is particularly tragic because this money would have otherwise gone into the development of Borderlands, according to the lawsuit.
Anecdote in the podcast about lost USB stick
This is the accusation regarding the porn: Callender also states that Pitchford lost a USB stick in Dallas, Texas, in 2014. This stick allegedly contained sensitive documents about Gearbox, 2k Games, Sega, Sony, and Microsoft.
Additionally, it also contained Randy Pitchford’s private collection of pornography.
This seems to corroborate the accusation: The website Ars Technica subsequently found a story from Pitchford, which he told on December 22 in a podcast about magic. There, he described how a camgirl fakes a female orgasm as “an impressive magic trick.”
Pitchford said in the podcast that he once saved a porn video on his USB stick, which he then lost.
Someone found the stick, took it home, and opened it. There, he saw secrets from Pitchford’s company, future games that were still in development, and of course the pornography.
This is what Gearbox says: There is a statement from Gearbox stating that Callender’s lawsuit is absurd. They will themselves sue against these allegations. Callender knows that he is lying.
He tries to secure himself with his “legal language” and the use of quotation marks because he senses that Gearbox will hold him accountable for it.
Callender uses lies to cause damage and to establish a viewpoint that he knows is false.
Pitchford shocked by accusations from his former friend
This is what Pitchford says: The CEO himself speaks up on Twitter. He says that the attacks from his former friend and colleague have no basis in reality or the legal system. He is just trying to extort money from him.
Gearbox will win. But since this is an ongoing legal dispute, Pitchford cannot comment on it as he would like. He is shocked by the lies.
Pitchford also says that he has now learned who his friends are. He will focus on work and trust that the truth and justice will prevail in the courts.
A new gameplay video of Anthem shows what players can experience in freeplay on the open world map. There will be special world events, expeditions, bosses, and even small easter eggs.
What can be seen in the video? You can observe how the two javelins Storm and Interceptor are traversing in freeplay. This means players can move freely on the open world map. During an expedition, world events can also appear and be initiated.

This is important to note about the 8 minutes of gameplay
Freeroam expeditions are good for: You can freely explore the world of Anthem solo or in a group. During freeplay, it is possible to collect various loot. Everyone in the group collects their own loot in Anthem.
Through free expeditions, you can acquire gear and also gain experience points. You can also participate in world events.
World events change: World events appear in freeplay that differ each time you embark on a new expedition. This could involve defeating a specific boss. Likewise, delivery missions can be accepted, as seen in the video. It may also happen that certain events repeat.
Cover long distances: The video states that it can take a long time to get from point A to B in freeplay. It is said to be tricky to hover in the air for a long time.
Interaction with the environment: To maneuver better and longer with the javelins in the air, players should interact with the environment. The video shows a kind of portal through which the player flies like through a pipe.
There are also waterfalls that he flies through with the javelin to cool down the suit. Javelins need cooling to hover longer.
Finding easter eggs and lore: There are many secrets to discover in freeplay. For example, loot crates are particularly well hidden. You can learn more about the story of Anthem through codex notes. This is comparable to the grimoire cards from Destiny 1 that are also scattered throughout the world.
Elemental attacks: In the video, the javelins use ice and acid. The ice seems to slow down opponents and partially immobilize them. The acid literally eats away at the enemies. Some enemies are said to have resistance to certain elements, but are not completely immune. For example, ice attacks against a frost wolf are not very effective.

Freeplay can be tested in the demo: Anthem will hold two demos. You can either play a VIP demo in early access if you pre-order Anthem. Or you play later the free demo that will be available to everyone.
A modern classic with risqué themes is now available on Steam. If you enjoy puzzles, sex, and an adult story, you should play Catherine.
The “old” readers might remember my column from 2015, where I raved about a very special game for the PS3. Now, four years later, “Catherine” has made its way to PC, allowing even more players to experience one of the “best games of all time”.
What is Catherine about? In Catherine, you take on the role of Vincent Brooks. He leads a simple but reasonably content life in his small bachelor pad. His work is going well, his relationship with his girlfriend Katherine is good, and in the evenings he hangs out with friends at the pub. However, when Katherine hints that Vincent should finally marry her and start a family, self-doubt creeps in.
He drinks “a bit too much” and before he knows it, he’s talking to a young, attractive blonde who perfectly matches his desires. The two wake up together in Vincent’s bed the next morning after apparently having had a very interesting night.
Difficult questions form the center of the story: How should Vincent deal with the affair? Should he confess it to Katherine directly? Does he let the affair continue secretly? Or does he leave his long-term girlfriend for this “blonde adventure”?
It is up to the players to explore this – and make the corresponding decisions.

Gameplay reminiscent of puzzle games: But the adult story is only half the game. The other half consists of Vincent’s nightmares, and here skill is required. Each night, Vincent must climb a seemingly endless wall of blocks. To progress, he must move the blocks and create new paths.
In doing so, he must avoid deadly traps and always has time against him – because slowly but surely, the wall crumbles down. And just when you think you’ve finally made it, a rather nasty boss level appears that redefines the climbing rules.
Catherine – A game of a different kind
Catherine knows how to put itself in the spotlight …
Anyone thinking that Catherine is a “typical Japanese dating game” is greatly mistaken. Even though the atmosphere of the game is quite relaxed at the beginning, the story quickly takes on dark and serious tones.
Social norms are questioned, fears are explored, and the question is repeatedly raised: What do you actually want to achieve in your life? Is it worth conforming to norms or is it okay to deviate if it makes you happier?
In Catherine, you not only learn the story of Vincent, Catherine, and Katherine, but also a lot about yourself on the side. If you want to embark on a somewhat crazy self-discovery journey for a few hours, you should jump in – plus, the game has many different endings, which makes the replay value high.
Catherine is a classic: Catherine originally released in 2011 for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. The anime look of the game is timeless, and the graphics are fitting for what the game wants to tell.
How much does Catherine cost? The PC port of Catherine costs around €20 on Steam. For this title with a timeless theme, it’s a reasonable price. If you’re skeptical, you should just wait for the next Steam sale; the price will surely drop again.
So if you’re still struggling with the intention to try something new in the “new year 2019”, maybe you should risk an affair – at least in the game world of Catherine.
Days later, as hoped by Bungie, Guardians have actually solved the ultra-complex puzzle of Niobe Labs in Destiny 2. The streamer Gladd managed to do it with the help of the puzzle solvers on reddit. They are finally redeemed.
He did it: Ultimately, the puzzle was solved by streamer Gladd and his fireteam. They were the ones who kept trying solutions that were often called out from the outside.
In the hour of triumph, Gladd’s thanks go to the puzzle solvers from Reddit-Raidsecrets. Gladd also thanks the entire community and everyone who helped. It was a team effort, he says.
He doesn’t want to claim a “World First” for himself. He only “inputted the ideas of others,” it says.
Gladd says:
“Yes, it’s true. My fireteam and I practically didn’t sleep for days, but so do a thousand others. Many don’t have the privilege of a fireteam and a chat.”

You can see the sleepless hours on Gladd when he finally cracked the thing. He probably hit his limit or went beyond it several times over the last few days.
The puzzle seemed to really capture the “hardcore” players and not let them go until it was finally solved and over.
Who is the streamer? Gladd is considered an exceptional player in Destiny, someone who can really sink his teeth into things. He is usually a hardcore raider.
That was Bungie’s plan: On Tuesday evening, the Niobe Labs opened. It was supposed to be a puzzle that the Destiny community would solve together, have fun, and support each other.
Guardians were supposed to watch the most famous streamers on Twitch crack the puzzle. Once that happened, Bungie would open the fourth and final forge, Bergusia.
All clear, right? Level 6 of the puzzle with the solution from Imgur
This is how it really was: The puzzle turned out to be maddeningly complex: a 7-stage puzzle where the solutions became increasingly difficult. The streamers bit their teeth into it, and many ultimately gave up.
Why was the puzzle so hard? The difficult part was, among other things, that there were no “checkpoints” in the puzzles. If a mistake was made at stage 7, players had to go through all previous stages to get back there. It simply took time.
Also, the puzzles themselves seemed astonishingly arbitrary with wildly hidden clues. On Imgur, a user has compiled the individual puzzles and their solutions.
Players had to recognize tips in the sights of the individual weapons, cover certain things around 4 corners or who knows what else.
Bungie apparently wanted people to engage deeply with the lore of Destiny and decipher every obscure hint. The puzzle was made for the riddle cracks.
What was the reward? The reward was, as previously announced, an emblem and a ghost shell. The forge itself has been open since Wednesday evening and has revealed new exotics such as the currently overpowered Jötunn or the sniper rifle Izanagi’s Burden.
However, some players had announced that they would only enter the forge once the puzzle was solved. They can now go in. And streamer Gladd and the many puzzle solvers in Destiny 2 can finally rest.
Fallout 76 lures with the craziest items you can find and use. We present to you a particularly quirky item: The Alien Blaster.
What is the Alien Blaster? The Alien Blaster is an exotic and unique weapon in Fallout 76 that you cannot craft, only find. The blaster resembles a toy and is hidden. You must find both the blaster and the unique ammunition separately.
How to Get the Alien Blaster in Fallout 76
Where do I find the Blaster? The weapon itself is not particularly hidden. It is located in a blown-up safe in a polluted pond, west of the Philippi Soldiers Cemetery, right in the center of Toxic Valley.
The safe is not heavily guarded, only a few unpredictable RAD deers might attack you there. Just take a step into the water and grab the blaster and, very importantly, the rusty key that can also be found in the open safe.
If you have trouble getting through the water, you will find a bathtub right next to the pond in the remnants of a house. In it lies a hazard suit, some RadAway, and a toy alien. A nice hint.
How to find the ammunition: With the key, you need to head to the Mount Blair Train Yard. There, you go up some stairs and ramps to the roof of the building, where you will find a locked door.
This door requires level 2 in lockpicking. Open it and turn right. Against the wall, there are some lockers, one of which you can open with the key. Inside, you will find the “TNT Dome Key 02”.
With the new key, go to the Black Mountain Ordnance Works, a bit west of Vault 76. Around the pile, there are numerous hills that look like beehives. You will find doors with signs indicating their number.
Search until you find Dome 02. You cannot enter any of the others anyway. In Dome 02, you will find a small lab with a capsule, a corpse, and some equipment:
Chems
Hazmat suits
a jamming device
a letter
ammunition and a blueprint for a mod of the Alien Blaster
In the letter, there is something about the ammunition and how dangerous it is. The ammunition is located on the table and in the box under the table, totaling 45 rounds. This is the only “AB ammunition” that exists. However, with the mod, you can modify the Alien Blaster to run on E-cells.
By the way, you can also find the alleged former owner of the blaster in Fallout 76. The poor guy is lifeless on a garbage truck in the middle of nowhere. That would almost be a candidate for our 5 scariest places in Fallout 76.
How good is the Blaster? The blaster itself is a level 20 weapon with energy damage, somewhat high range, and good fire rate. However, the damage is rather low. A level 30 Deathclaw cannot be killed with the 45 rounds of AB ammunition. But the weapon looks really cool.
In Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, each fighter is different. We show you a list that ranks the fighters by strength.
Anyone who wants to win in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate needs a strong fighter. The experts of the game have already created a tier list based on their experience in the game, showing the best characters.
We present a selection of tier lists from professionals and also show you the best fighters in several categories.
This article was updated on January 12, 2019, and shows the current tier lists of esports professionals.
Leffen’s Tier List: These are his best fighters in Super Smash Bros.
Who created the tier list? The tier list we are showing you is by William Hjelte. Under the name “Leffen,” he has won numerous awards in the predecessor games of Super Smash Bros. He is considered one of the best Smash players.
What do the rankings mean? In a tier list, characters are ranked into different levels. The S-tier is the highest level, while E-tier is the lowest.
Leffen ranked the characters into six tiers. They are as follows:
B-Tier: Fox, Fuegro, Palutena, Bowser, King K. Rool, Ike, Young Link, Zero Suit Samus
C-Tier: Quajutsu, Ridley, King Dedede, Olimar, Mii Gunner, Jigglypuff, Mii Brawler, Ryu, Luigi, Wario, Toon Link, Ken, Sheik, Cloud
D-Tier: Mario, Dr. Mario, Ness, Mii Swordfighter, Duck Hunt, Robin, Lucas, Mr. Game & Watch, Rosalina & Luma, Dark Pit, Pit, Bayonetta, Captain Falcon
E-Tier: Pac-Man, Snake, Ice Climbers, Zelda, Ganondorf, Bowser Jr., Villager, Melinda, Mega Man, Kirby, Dark Samus, Samus, Little Mac, Link, Wii Fit Trainer
How were the characters evaluated? Leffen evaluated the characters based on his initial gameplay experiences. He found it important that the characters had unique features. Those with high speed or strong special attacks were rated higher. In his view, the S-tiers could defeat any character from the other tiers.
Update from December 14: After the update, Leffen adjusted his tier list a bit. He was able to gain more player experiences and assess the characters better. This list is his final tier list for Super Smash for now. He believes that the list will not change quickly.

Best fighters in different categories
Nintendo does not provide much information about their fighters. In the “Tips” category, they give a little insight into the stats of their characters. The following stats are known:
Which fighters jump the highest? Falco, Quajutsu, Zero Suit Samus
Which fighter can do the most jumps in a row? Jigglypuff (6), Meta Knight (6), Kirby (6)
Which fighters are the heaviest? Bowser, King K. Rool, Donkey Kong, King Dedede
Which fighters are the lightest? Pichu, Jigglypuff, Mr. Game & Watch
Which fighters are the fastest? Sonic, Captain Falcon, Little Mac
What do the stats tell us? These stats are meant to give an initial insight into the characters. If you prefer to play with a fighter that can jump a lot, then you should consider Kirby or Jigglypuff. If you are someone who prefers heavy and bulky fighters, then Bowser or Donkey Kong would be your choice.
In the end, however, trying out is the way to go. Every player has a different play style and prefers different strengths.
The online mode of Super Smash Bros. Ultimate is under criticism. You can find out why here:
The Elder Scrolls Online is getting a new expansion and the fans are thrilled. The reason is the speculation about a possible new class.
Since Zenimax and Bethesda released first teasers and announcements for the new addon for The Elder Scrolls Online, players have been eagerly discussing and speculating. However, the community is most concerned about one detail that has not yet been officially announced: The Necromancer.
Is a new class coming to ESO?
This is what the leak says:According to data mining information, there should be a new class called Necromancer in the new addon for ESO. This has excited players greatly.
Why are Necromancers so special? This is because there have always been Necromancers in ESO, but only as enemies. Furthermore, the dark arts were actually usable in other Elder Scrolls games. Only in ESO can you not summon undead and use other necro skills.
However, this is precisely what many fans want. Because the great freedom in skill selection and gameplay has always been a cornerstone of the Elder Scrolls games. Therefore, many fans have always been bothered that you cannot be a Necromancer.
Posts like this are currently seen more often on Reddit. Source: Reddit
Do Necromancers fit into the lore? One of the reasons why Necros have not been in the game so far is, according to some fans, the ban on necromancy. However, clever lore enthusiasts argue that necromancy was only banned by the Mages Guild in the third era.
However, ESO takes place in the second era. Therefore, there should be fewer problems regarding this. So, according to many fans, there is nothing against playing a Necromancer who uses his dark arts against other villains.
Is the Necro really going to be a new class? However, it is not even clear if the Necromancer is really coming. And if he does come, he could also be another skill line that every hero can learn. Zenimax had already seduced in the last addon Summerset. The Psijic Mage there was initially interpreted as a new class but ended up being “just” an extension for all classes.
According to Zenimax, this is much easier to balance than a completely new class. It is quite possible that Zenimax will proceed similarly here and make necromancy available for all heroes. However, most players wish for a new class.

In Fortnite: Battle Royale there has been a super annoying glitch when building for ages. That should soon be a thing of the past and fans are delighted.
What bug is it about? Anyone who has ever tried to build on an uneven surface or in the water in Fortnite knows it. The desired structure mostly disappears into the ground or water.
Only a small part sticks out above, and basically, you have wasted valuable resources and time. Because for an effective wall, you have to build another piece over it, and you may have no resources left elsewhere or get shot the second you wanted to build the second wall.
The bug has been present since the game launched in 2017 and annoys everyone every day.
Bug fix in sight
This is how the bug is supposed to be fixed soon: Recently, design lead Eric Williamson from Epic commented on the topic on Reddit. He promised that a solution is currently being developed. According to him, a second wall will soon be automatically constructed when the first is affected by the glitch and has been built at least 70 percent underground.

The additional wall will be free and will be built immediately alongside the first. However, the whole procedure apparently only works for walls, not for ramps or other structures.

When will the bug fix go live on the servers? Williamson did not promise a specific release date for the change. But it is likely that the fix will go online with the upcoming update 7.20 on January 15, 2019.
How are the players reacting? Since the bug has plagued players since the beginning of Fortnite’s time, they are very happy about the upcoming fix. As one Reddit user writes, “This is the kind of change we want to see!”, referring to the numerous changes in the game that many players did not appreciate.
In Atlas, a fatal yet visually impressive bug has crept into the survival MMO. The ghost ships were equipped with continuously firing cannons. Much to the dismay of many players. The bug has since been fixed.
This is what happened: Grapeshot Games released patch 10.71 on January 9. It merely removed a cannon bug and an exploit and adjusted the glider protection. Just minor issues that no one would have paid much attention to if not for the fatal bug that had also come into play. Players on Reddit and YouTube are now reporting ghost ships that sink entire galleons in seconds with their continuous fire. Normally, ghost ships only fire every few seconds. With the bug, however, shells are raining down!

The YouTuber BattleNex and his crew are among the luckier players here. They managed to destroy the ghost ship before their brigantine was sunk. In the chaos, it’s almost a miracle. It still looks cool, though.

The crew of YouTuber 50ten wasn’t so lucky. Their galleon was targeted by a level 1 ghost ship and sunk in seconds. Attempts to repair the ship failed due to the sheer number of cannon hits. “This is totally ridiculous!” is the fitting reaction in the video.
Bug already fixed: The Atlas subreddit has been flooded with criticism. Players have lost hours or days of work in seconds. Grapeshot Games responded quickly and fixed the bug with patch 10.75.
With patch 10.0, another annoying problem was recently fixed in Atlas:
The legendary Pokémon Cresselia doesn’t exactly shine with good stats. With a trick, it becomes a monster in the PvP mode of Pokémon GO.
When the legendary raid boss Cresselia sat on the arenas, hardly any player was excited. Cresselia has poor stats, low CP, and its attacks are not optimal for raids. The Pokémon seemed to be bad for many so far.
More and more players are reporting that Cresselia shows its true talent in the Super League of trainer battles. With a simple trick, the legendary Pokémon becomes a strong attacker in trainer fights.
This is how Cresselia becomes a PvP monster
If you still have Cresselia from raids in your collection, you shouldn’t simply get rid of it. In the Super League, which is capped at a maximum of 1500 CP, Cresselia can be a true weapon.
This is the trick: If you look at the CP of Cresselia from raids, you will find that it has at least 1555 CP. This is too high for the Super League.
In order for Cresselia to start in the league, you need to “bad trade” it. If the Cresselia gets worse IVs from the trade, its CP will also decrease. Thus, it can happen that Cresselia has less than 1500 CP after the trade.
This is why Cresselia is so powerful: Cresselia’s HP and defense stats are extremely high. Only its attack stat is low, which is why its CP is also low. The attack stat largely determines the CP.
However, Cresselia is perfectly suited for PvP with these stats. It is much more about the duration that a Pokémon can survive here. The damage it can deal per second is more decisive in raids.
This is how the attacks become good: For an arena battle, Cresselia’s attacks are not good, but for PvP, the mix of attacks is interesting:
Cresselia has a fast instant attack with Psycho Cut, which is important in PvP. The charge attacks offer three different types, and it would be worth it to unlock the second charge attack.
This is how Cresselia leads you to victory: To counter Cresselia, it’s best to use Dark-type Pokémon. However, these are very effectively hit by Cresselia’s Moonblast attack. The Ice attack Aurora Beam is also good. It charges quickly and can draw out the opponent’s shields.
Additionally, the legendary Pokémon can withstand a lot of damage. Your opponent will have a hard time with Cresselia. And you have a good chance of victory.

Fans of The Witcher and Monster Hunter World were eagerly awaiting the release date of the Witcher event. Now Capcom has revealed when the crossover between the RPG giants will start.
When does the event start? The crossover between two of the biggest games of recent years is set to begin on February 8th, at the beginning of next month. Capcom has referred to the crossover as a title update. Unfortunately, PC players will have to wait as the update will initially only be available for PS4 and Xbox One.
This means there will initially be a free download for everyone. It’s likely that the crossover will be permanently added to the game as it was the case with Behemoth and the collaboration with Assassin’s Creed. However, how exactly the crossover will unfold is still unclear.
Shall we step into the shoes of the witcher Geralt?
These are the hints about the content of the crossover: Initially, we have Capcom’s description. It states only that there will be “brand new quests” related in some way to the RPG elements of The Witcher 3. From this, “a new player experience” will emerge.
The content was developed in collaboration with the Witcher developers from CD Projekt Red, with the original voice actors of Geralt of Rivia participating in several languages, including German.
Will we be able to play as Geralt? So far, there has been no official confirmation, but in response to fan inquiries, the official Twitter account for Monster Hunter World confirmed that we will indeed be able to play as the witcher himself.
Many questions remain open. Will there be a decorative armor set for Geralt, like the one already available for Aloy from Horizon Zero Dawn, or Bayek from Assassin’s Creed Origins? What kinds of quests and RPG elements will there be?
Fans are certainly hoping for new content, possibly even a monster from the Witcher universe making its way into the world of Monster Hunter.
We still have to wait until February 8th. But before that, other events are starting.
In Fortnite new skins have come to the shop again. Players are noticing more and more similarities to Overwatch.
What happened? Epic Games has released the Ark Skin (English Ark Skin).
This skin with angel wings looks pretty cool at first glance, but looking closer, it seems familiar. At least if you play Overwatch.
The new skin in Fortnite resembles the Mercy Skin from Overwatch. On Reddit, some players compiled a list of skins that look very similar in both games.
How Fortnite and Overwatch resemble each other
These are the similarities: Both skins look like angels and one version of the Mercy Skin, like the Ark Skin, wears white clothing. The hair and halo also look similar.
The latest skin from Fortnite is not an isolated case. Numerous skins from both games have astonishing similarities. On Reddit, a player ironically asked: “Am I playing Fortnite or Overwatch?”
What players noticed: The post on Reddit received a lot of support and the community created a list of Fortnite and Overwatch skins that are very similar:
The Reaper Skin from Overwatch and the Raven Skin from Fortnite
The McCree Skin from Overwatch and the Deadfire Skin from Fortnite
The list can be expanded further. But why do so many skins look alike?
This is why many skins resemble each other: Skins in online games are primarily there for the player to identify with their character. Therefore, it makes sense that game developers lean towards cool fantasy beings like witches, angels, or wizards.
Both Overwatch and Fortnite rely on these stereotypes and create skins that remind players of them. It happens that some skins look alike.
Today, Guardians will receive a visit from Xur in Destiny 2 today. Where can his location be found this time? And what does the mysterious Agent of the Nine have to offer?
This week was important: This week was quite eventful. First, with the Weekly Reset on January 8th, new content from the Black Armory went live – the Niobe Labs. However, it didn’t go as many fans had imagined.
Instead of rushing directly into the fourth and final forge, Bergusia, Guardians first had to solve a massive puzzle. Only after a team uncovered the secret would the Bergusia forge be unlocked for everyone.
On January 10th, Bungie also surprisingly announced that they would part ways with publisher Activision. The rights to Destiny will remain entirely with Bungie, who will continue the franchise themselves. Since then, this “divorce” has been celebrated by the fan masses and the possible consequences have been extensively discussed.
All information about Xur in Destiny 2 on January 11th on PS4, Xbox One, and PC
There’s also a visit from Xur today. Will Bungie, in celebration of the freshly gained independence, provide the Agent of the Nine with some of the new Exotics? Let’s greet Xur together and find out.
When does Xur come today? – The Times
Xur Time: Guardians always receive a visit from Xur on Fridays – and have been doing so since the days of Destiny 1. During winter time, he appears at 6 PM at some location in the world of Destiny 2 and supplies Guardians with exotic gear from there.
How long does Xur stay? Guardians have until the next reset, which this time is until January 15th, to stock up on exotic goods from the Agent of the Nine. Then, on the following Tuesday at exactly 6 PM, he packs up everything and disappears.
Where is Xur? You can find him today at this location
Xur has settled this time in the Tower on Earth. You can find him in the Hangar.
Xur’s current position

What’s new? On Thursday, January 10, Rockstar Games announced details for the future of Red Dead Online. They talked about which content will soon make its way into the beta. Fans have been waiting for such an announcement for a long time – they complained about a lack of content in the online mode.
Here are a few reactions from fans.
The announced changes in Red Dead Online
What will Rockstar change? The Gun Rush mode is now new in the game. The following additional content is planned:
Daily Missions
Every day there will be new challenges for you to tackle.
Improvement of the Parley System
Players should have the opportunity to trigger the negotiating function faster. This makes it easier to avoid aggressive players.
It should also become easier to initiate feuds, crew feuds, and leader feuds to take on attackers in structured combat.
Improvement in Law and Bounties (Against Griefers)
Bounties will soon be placed on players who commit crimes. They will have to pay within a certain time. If they do not, they will be pursued by bounty hunters and must pay or flee.
Changes to Player Markings – Split into 2 Features
The marking of players on the map will soon only be visible at close range. This way, you will not be selected as a target by other players from a long distance.
Players who grief and kill others indiscriminately will receive a marking that gradually increases in size and becomes visible at greater distances. Potentially dangerous players should thus be easier to identify.
This is what players say about bounties and griefers: Generally, there is happiness that Rockstar is doing something against griefers. Player R3LL1K writes “I am very happy about the anti-griefer measures, but I would have also liked them to address some bugs and glitches.”
Player AronaldRaygun comments on the griefer changes: “The anti-griefer measures are exciting. The update states that bounty hunters will pursue the player if they do not pay. I hope these bounty hunters are as efficient as the ones that prevent you from visiting Blackwater and New Austin in story mode.”
“I really hope they allow other players to be the bounty hunters, and not just boring NPCs,” writes user Gratwick on Reddit.
Map Improvements: The distance at which you can see other players on the map will be shortened. Soon it will not be possible to locate players over vast distances just by looking at the map. User Deplorable_person” writes on Reddit: Distance-based player markings are the compromise the world needs. Please implement it!”
However, there are also concerns. The player marking of griefers is supposed to darken and grow larger. Psycheater comments to us on MeinMMO: “So will the map soon consist of a single black spot?”
Changes to the Negotiation Function: In our comments on MeinMMO, Karmkakula writes “Last night, I witnessed how a 3-man crew chased a single around Rhodes. That was truly “heroic” of the crew. If this can now be triggered faster with the negotiation, it should hopefully improve.”
Daily Missions: This point is praised. This feature can also be found in GTA Online. Many players believe it should have been a part of the online experience of Red Dead Redemption 2 from the very beginning.
More wishes from players for Red Dead Online
In response to the news of future updates, players express what else is missing in Red Dead Online:
Bug fixes are desired
Servers should become more stable
Free-aim lobbies
Poker, darts, and other minigames that can be played with others
Private servers
In our MeinMMO community, there are also many suggestions for new content in Red Dead Online.
Catching and selling wild horses,
Farms with breeding and cultivation,
The possibility of becoming a sheriff
and distilleries
These are ideas expressed by Karl-Heinz and DrPIMP in the comments. Are there any other contents you wish for?
While players in the online world wait for new content, they spend hours on these puzzles in singleplayer:
After Bungie announced the separation from Activision, the Destiny fans celebrate this day of freedom. But does the separation really bring only advantages for Destiny 2?
This is what happened: Bungie made the biggest headlines in the gaming industry so far in the young year 2019.
As the studio announced, it will separate from publisher Activision. The rights to the Destiny franchise completely go to Bungie. The studio has the future of the Destiny series in its own hands.
Following this, there were cheers from the fans, while Activision’s stock fell by more than 7%.
But is there really only reason to celebrate? We summarize the mood in the community for you and want to know your opinion about the “divorce”.
Bungie Separation from Activision – What the fans think
This is the mood: Since the separation was announced, social media, forums, and discussion platforms like reddit are full of cheers and praises. The majority of fans celebrate this development. Rarely has the gaming community been seen in such positive excitement.
However, there are indeed voices that view this “divorce” with caution or even with concern, although they are noticeably in the minority.
What the fans are happy about: Activision is seen by some as the root of all evil in the Destiny franchise. Many questionable design decisions and low points of the Destiny series are attributed to the interference and pressure from the publisher:
for example, the once-hated in-game shop Eververse
or the focus of the franchise on casual players
Accordingly, the cheers are currently quite large. On reddit, fans celebrate as if they have won a revolution against a tyrant.
Thus, the post with the official announcement of the separation reaches 27,500 likes in just about 14 hours. In another thread, the day is already being celebrated as Destiny Freedom Day – with well over 5,000 likes.
In general, there is now a sense of awakening. Congratulations, expressions of joy, and jokes are currently sprouting.
Fans are glad that Bungie is now independent of external influences and can determine the future of the Destiny franchise themselves. Destiny is finally saved.
Many are optimistic that the studio can now implement its own vision of the game and make Destiny a better game. The studio and the franchise are in a good position to stand on their own. Without a large company behind them, this should now be significantly easier, as the fans hope.
This is what worries the fans: At the same time, there are also warning voices that almost drown in the cheers. Whether anything will actually change effectively remains to be seen, according to the skeptics.
Some fans note that we don’t really know how much influence Activision actually had on the development of Destiny. Many errors are also attributed to Bungie itself and internal conflicts, and Activision is not to blame for all the failures of the series.
According to some critical fans, we will only have certainty in the fall of 2019 or even later, once Bungie actually has to deliver for the first time without Activision and beyond the already known and planned content.
That everything will be better after the separation and that Destiny will suddenly completely eliminate microtransactions or that the content will flow faster and become of higher quality is simply unrealistic.
On the contrary. Bungie would lose important resources after the separation from Activision. Because in the development and content supply of Destiny, not only Bungie itself was likely involved, but also two studios from Activision – the Highmoon Studios and Vicarious Visions.
Even with their help, Bungie hardly managed to convince the fans with content. And since these resources are now breaking away, it will not necessarily be easier.
Also, the separation from Activision does not mean that Bungie remains completely independent without a publisher. While the studio has all rights for Destiny in its own hands, a cooperation with another publisher or company, as already with NetEase, is absolutely conceivable.
However, it cannot be definitively said whether it would go better in this case than with Activision.
Survey – What do you think of the separation?
In this context, we would also like to know how you view the separation of Bungie and Activision. Was it the liberation blow for the Destiny franchise? Or will Destiny possibly have an even harder time now?
For this, we have prepared a survey. Please note that you only have one answer option. Thank you for your time and participation.
Feel free to let us know in detail in the comments what you think about this separation.

Pokémon GO announced an event around Barschwa. This can only be obtained from field research. The rural players are already worried.
What happened? On January 19, Pokémon GO will hold the first limited research. During the event, you will get the chance to encounter shiny Barschwa from field research. But this is exactly where players see the problem.
Do rural players have a disadvantage in limited research?
What is the problem? Players from villages or small towns know the issue: They usually have only a few PokéStops in their area. But if you can only receive one quest for Barschwa per PokéStop, then you cannot catch many event Pokémon in the entire three hours.
The chance of getting a shiny Barschwa is also low. What are the odds that in a village with 4 PokéStops a shiny Barschwa is present?
Players from large cities haven’t really thought about the problem, but rural players are concerned.
What players are complaining about: So writes the Reddit user “Eecnahz” in dismay: “So I have 14 PokéStops in my area. Is that all I have to do in these three hours?”
Additionally, the user “PsYcHoSeAn” expresses criticism about the event: “The Community Day is already challenging for rural areas due to the reduced number of spawn points. But now the shinies are only available in PokéStops? I know cities where there are only about 10 stops, and we only have about 30. So I have only 30 chances in these 3 hours, or I have to move my butt to nearby cities? That sounds silly.”
What players believe: So that everyone can complete field research in the full three hours, players need to go to larger cities. Depending on how challenging the quests are, you can complete over 100 field researches within three hours. But not everyone has that many PokéStops.
How could Niantic solve the problem? No one knows yet how the event will unfold. Niantic could have already considered the players’ concerns and prepared answers so that rural players do not miss out during the event.
What do you think about the event? Do you have enough PokéStops for the event?
This weekend, the Community Day starts in January. Everything you need to know about Karnimani and the event can be found here:
Some aspects of the island expeditions from World of Warcraft have been toned down. Enemies are now “less annoying” because players wanted that.
With Patch 8.1 Tides of Vengeance, the creators of World of Warcraft significantly revamped the island expedition feature. Enemies now tend to linger in camps, there are more diverse events and new objectives on the islands. At the same time, Blizzard had requested feedback and wanted to know how the new island expeditions feel and what could be improved. This feedback is now being implemented.
What did the players complain about? Many players were annoyed by the fact that they could no longer effectively bunch up enemies. In most cases, this was not due to the sheer strength of the enemies, but to their special abilities. Many enemies “push” or leave shadow globes that knock the character back upon contact. Thus, players spent more time hopping back and forth than engaging in actual combat.
This will be changed: Blizzard has already announced a list of changes. Above all, the “annoying” abilities of the enemies will be toned down.
Enemies will now use Resonance Strike, Resonance Shield, and Unstable Geyser less frequently when another enemy has recently used them.
The spheres created by Resonance Focus have been reduced from 4 to 2.
The knockback effect from the Resonance Shield has been removed on “normal” and “heroic” difficulties.
The strength of the knockback from the Resonance Focus spheres has been reduced on “normal” and “heroic” difficulties.
The disorientation effect from Unstable Eruption of the Unstable Geyser has been reduced to 1 second (normal) and 2 seconds (heroic).
The effect of the two abilities that cause worse visibility (Foul Fog and Dread Fog) on attacks from the Kvaldir has been drastically reduced.
Yak and Musk opponents no longer knock back with charges. Moreover, the damage from trampling has been reduced by 50%.
When will the changes go live? The hotfix will be applied together with the PvP nerfs, likely later today (January 11, 2018), but certainly by tonight.
What do you think about the changes to the island expeditions? Are they now “too easy” or is it good that you can once again bunch up enemies at your discretion?
