This is what the earthquakes are about: Already on January 30, dataminers found several folders related to events in the Fortnite code. Among them, there is an event for the Super Bowl, the Marshmello concert, and a folder named “Earthquake”, so earthquake.

Will the map break apart at the start of Season 8?
What did the dataminers find? Back then, there were no concrete information except for the folder. Now, however, the dataminers found something: a sound file that reproduces typical earthquake sounds. What could the earthquake mean? If the earthquakes really happen, they will certainly become a major, world-shaking event. It is most likely that the tremors will start at the end of Season 7 or the beginning of Season 8.
Possibly the map will break apart (partially), creating small islands in each area that can only be reached by flying or via (self-built) bridges. While this would be quite a drastic change, in Season 7, significant changes occurred to the map with the additional iceberg and the areas swallowed by ice in the southwest.
Does the Fire King play a role? For some fans, the earthquakes make sense, as they fit into the theory of the Fire King. This is supposed to be the mysterious prisoner, the secret skin from Season 7, who was imprisoned under the Ice King’s fortress.
Earthquakes often occur together with volcanic eruptions, and a volcano event has also long been circulating through the rumor mill of Fortnite. It’s quite possible that in Season 8, the themes of fire, lava, and earthquakes will prevail.

As confirmed by developer Respawn Entertainment, Titanfall is getting a battle royale spin-off called Apex: Legends. It is expected to be a free-to-play game. Without Titans.
What is it about? Last week there was already a leak revealing the battle royale shooter. An announcement for today, February 4, was suspected. Allegedly, the game is supposed to be a free-to-play spin-off set in the universe of the Titanfall shooter series. The developer is once again expected to be Respawn Entertainment, which developed Titanfall 1&2.
The leaks have now been confirmed. During the Super Bowl, Respawn confirmed the existence of the shooter and that it will indeed be announced on February 4. The information comes from Vince Zampella, CEO of the developer studio, which is part of publisher Electronic Arts.

Titanfall spin-off without Titans
Are there Titans in Apex? Fans of the Titanfall games are likely to ask this question first. Unfortunately, the answer is disappointing: Apex will probably not have Titans. This is reported by sources who have already been able to test it.
In Dead by Daylight there are currently too few killers. This is due to an event that favors survivors.
In Dead by Daylight, the “Moonrise” event is currently taking place, where players can earn special cosmetic items and a lot of blood points. This is not because killers are too weak, but because they progress significantly slower than survivors during the “Moonrise” event.
What is the problem? To earn the special currency that is only available during the Moonrise event, killers and survivors have to perform different actions. Survivors must repair generators and escape with a flashlight, while killers must hook survivors and destroy flashlights.
However, survivors receive points significantly faster and easier, usually ending a match with 16-45 points. Killers can only dream of 45 points and are already happy with 20-22 points per match.
As a result, killers earn the currency significantly slower, and many killer players switch to survivors to obtain the event rewards.
Fans demand a hotfix: On Reddit, most players agree that Behaviour should quickly provide a hotfix that improves the event points for killers. This would give players a stronger incentive to try the event as killers and be rewarded with points. This would also benefit survivors, who would then find matches faster. It would be a clear win-win situation.
However, one group benefits from the situation: Those who are not interested in the event rewards and enjoy playing as killers have virtually no waiting times. A group of survivors is found in just a few seconds.

While other classes and super abilities in Destiny 2 have received fantastic buffs, the Warlock’s only super, Nova Warp, has been utterly nerfed. How could this happen?
How strong was Nova Warp before the 2.1.4 update? The super ability introduced with Forsaken for the Voidwalker not only excels in “neutral play” (or neutral game – how effective the abilities are in normal play without using the super), as the Nova Warp Warlock can turn his grenade into a hand supernova and regenerates health on ability kills.
For those still not satisfied, the increased melee range is sure to please. However, the super ability itself was also quite strong, at least when one was in the Crucible. In PvE, the super was mainly used to take out larger hordes of enemies. For tough bosses, Nova Warp has always been rather unsuitable.
Nova Warp was a real killer in the Crucible: A super ability that feels like it lasts for minutes, gives back health on kills, and even goes through walls? Sure, why not? Even if all team members were shooting the Warlock, the increased armor and health regeneration made this super ability a true monster.
Those who wanted to counter Nova Warp effectively had two options: run away or play a Hunter with Blade Barrage. With other super attacks, there was no need to even try. Even a Titan with the Code of the Missile could be taken out of his Superman animation with a single blow.
With the 2.1.4 update, Bungie aimed to rebalance the super. Unfortunately, this went terribly wrong.

What do these nerfs mean in consequence? Not only was the duration of the super reduced by 7 seconds, but the charging costs were significantly increased. In addition, movement speed was also reduced.
The new best super of the Warlock? The Kamehameha
Those who try the super in the Crucible will find that enemies can escape relatively easily, and the Warlock also consumes too much super energy through teleporting. This means that the super can, in the worst case, only be activated two or three times before time runs out. Thus, the effectiveness of the super has been halved at best.
On top of that, Bungie buffed almost every super with the 2.1.4 update, making the nerf of Nova Warp seem even more severe. Specifically, the Gunslinger Hunter and the Striker Titan received fantastic buffs.
Since Nova Warp barely played a role in PvE even before the nerf, it is likely that no one uses it now. Neutral play remains strong, but the super is useless.
This is what Guardians have to say about the nerfs: Voices in the community are growing louder, calling for a rework of Nova Warp. While the damage reduction and decreased armor are deemed “good”, the movement reduction should be lifted, and the charging costs reduced.
Significantly improved: The Gunslinger
This would ensure that Nova Warp would still be an alternative in the Crucible. However, for the fight against aliens, the talent tree would need to be balanced completely separately, a high-wire act that Bungie traditionally struggles with.

When Rastakhan refuses, Genn becomes unequivocally direct and announces, “Heroes of the Alliance… slay him! No mercy for these savages!” A decidedly darker tone than with the Alliance.
What is the truth? As Alliance players experience the fight from a “real” perspective, their perception likely corresponds to the facts. Horde players experience the battle as a flashback scene narrated by a scout. Therefore, it is probable that the scout embellishes the scene slightly and places harsher words in Genn Greymane’s mouth than he actually chose.
Blizzard cleverly uses the raid’s narrative structure to stoke the conflict between Horde and Alliance with minor details. One can only hope such nuances will be referenced later and integrated into the story.

Many suspect that this is an announcement for the “cool” event scheduled for this evening. At the end of the VIP demo, developer Bioware announced a kind of event.
