Many players believe that there is stage 5 of the Prisoner skin in Fortnite . We will show you what supports stage 5.
What kind of skin is this? The Prisoner skin in Fortnite only appears in armor made of chains and locks. The owners of the skin then unlock further stages of this cosmetic item through special actions. For example, the Prisoner will remove his headgear and be infused with magma.
These four stages of the Prisoner were known so far – Left stage 1 to right stage 4
This supports stage 5: After these mentioned stages, the skin still carries a belt with a lock on the side. Additionally, there is a metal collar with a piece of chain hanging from it.
Many believe that the collar is a deliberate accessory. However, the belt with its conspicuous lock seems to be another unlockable stage. The skin might possibly separate from both armor pieces in stage 5.
What could stage 5 look like? The community on Reddit has already extensively discussed how the Prisoner could continue. User TheInfamousRavenKing speculates that the necklace and belt might still disappear. He created a graphic that shows how the skin might look then.
In this example, stage 5 would ensure that the legs and upper body of the Prisoner are significantly more infused with fire. The fabric also burns due to the heat.
What Epic Games ultimately makes of the skin and whether there really is still a stage 5 is currently unclear. Players are now eagerly awaiting it.
If you are also looking forward to stage 5, keep an eye on our Facebook page for Fortnite . As soon as we have the information, we will show you there how to unlock the stage.

Use your skills and combos: Anthem has several types of abilities, including Primer and Detonator skills. When you use a Primer ability on an enemy, and then hit them with a Detonator skill, a combo explosion occurs.
This explosion deals increased damage to the target and can inflict additional effects like burning or freezing.
In Anthem, your abilities are significantly more important than, for example, in the shared-world shooter The Division 2, where skills are meant to have only a supporting role. In Anthem, it’s the exact opposite.
When you pick up ammunition during combat, it not only fills your capacity but also instantly refills your magazine.
You can cleverly use your movements in combat to ensure that you can continue shooting, even when your magazine should be empty. You may need some luck, but ammunition drops quite frequently on the battlefield.
Many coins in Freeplay
This is how you can quickly earn coins: Coins are your in-game currency, which can be used to buy cosmetic items and other things. Players report on Reddit that the Freeplay mode is well suited for farming coins.
In the world of Anthem, there are apparently chests filled with coins. Mo310 claims to have obtained between 800 and 2000 coins from such chests. Given the current prices in the cash shop, that’s not a bad amount.
There, a Javelin armor costs 61,000 coins, graphics, armor materials, and emotes cost 12-18,000.
Tomb Quests do not need to be completed in free play
What are Tomb Quests? These quests lead you into the various dungeons of the game world. They often involve areas that you visit more frequently, even during other missions.
Tomb Quests can be completed alongside: Therefore, you don’t need to enter free play at all. You can take Tomb Quests during any mission type and complete them, as one fan discovered.
Only World Events are exclusively found in free play. These are random occurrences in the world of Anthem.
What you need to keep in mind: If you want to complete certain missions, you should make sure to accept the quest yourself. The completion is only saved if you start the respective mission in “your” Fort Tarsis.
Reddit user nickjamesfm advises everyone to speak with the quest giver first. Otherwise, you can check your journal after the mission entry.
Experiencing a connection loss during a mission or being kicked from a session for other reasons can be very frustrating. However, you don’t need to worry about your loot and EXP.
This is how you get your EXP and the loot you collected until then: If you complete another session normally, you will also receive the loot and experience points from the session you previously left.
Locked out? Here’s how to get back to your team
When you join a stronghold, it can occasionally happen that you stand in front of a locked door. The team has already moved on, but the door to the next section is locked. What to do?
This is how you find your team: If you spawn behind a locked door in a stronghold, open the map and select “Respawn” to land back with the team.
Crafting becomes interesting later
That’s why you should wait: Don’t engage with the crafting system too early. It’s not worth spending materials on equipment you’ll only use for a maximum of 1-2 levels until you find better ones.
At the beginning of the game, you’ll be constantly supplied with enough loot through the story and missions. So save your crafting materials for later.
That’s why they are uninteresting for you: Consumable items are objects that can be crafted with materials. They can be equipped before each mission and are only valid for that one mission.
However, they are not necessary for success, so it’s better to save the materials for more useful purposes.
Play missions on hard, strongholds on normal
That’s why a different difficulty level is worthwhile: In missions, a normal difficulty level is very easy for a 4-player team. Therefore, it’s worth playing on hard. You’ll get better gear and should still get through without problems.
Additionally, you will reach for combos more often, which increases the enjoyment of playing in a group.
Strongholds, on the other hand, are larger dungeons and set up like a mini-raid. They are more demanding and should preferably be attempted on normal first.
Cool down your Javelin for longer flying distances
Use the environment for this: Your Javelin cannot fly indefinitely. After a while, you need to cool down before you can continue flying. If you don’t do this, the suit will overheat, and you will crash.
You can use the game world to keep your Javelin flying. You can utilize any water sources, such as waterfalls, rivers, or lakes, for this purpose.
In flight, you can quickly dip into the water, and the flight continues. Your suit will now heat up more slowly for a time.
Collect everything and talk to everyone
This is why it pays off: Whatever you find, it either provides useful crafting material or gives you lore information and experience points.
Thus, it pays off to stop for a moment, collect that Cortex entry or loot that material.
This is what matters with components: Components are part of the Javelin’s equipment and are part of the loot in Anthem.
They are specifically available for each of the 4 Javelins or as general components that can be equipped by all.
However, it is worth equipping Javelin-specific components as they are usually better suited for the gameplay style of that particular suit.
For example, the Interceptor can equip components that significantly increase the damage of the dual blades. Each Javelin has such components, so choose wisely.
Kill the small monsters too
This is why it’s worth killing trash mobs: Trash mobs are smaller monsters that pose no significant threat to the player, yet can appear repeatedly, no matter what you are playing.
There’s a specific reason for this. Not only is it fun to take out many small enemies with a big bang, but you also benefit from it. They often drop health and ammunition.
The more monsters you kill, the faster your ultimate attacks recharge.
However, the Klauninchen do not count as trash mobs. So you don’t gain anything by shooting them. The killing of Klauninchen has already caused a controversy in the community.

Many players of Anthem are struggling with the Tomb Quest, where you need to open 4 tombs for the story. Our guide explains how you can do this.
The “Tomb Quest” is already notorious:The horror quest “Tomb of the Legionnaires” is currently driving some players crazy. Many found it annoying and cumbersome to complete. This quest is also a prerequisite to progress in the story.
Your task as a freelancer is to open and complete the 4 tombs. The actual minimum level for this quest is 9-10. Thanks to one of the changes from a hotfix that was applied server-side, the tasks are counted starting from level 3.
What can you expect in the tombs? Not much. You can go a few meters into the tomb, interact with it, and then go back to the remaining tasks.
If you are struggling with the Tomb Quest, we explain the less clear tasks and list everything you need to complete the tombs.
The Tomb of the Legionnaires
What do I need to do? But to open these tombs, you first need to complete some tasks. There are a total of 15 grind tasks that you can complete in free play. We summarize how to open and complete the tombs.
Once you accept this quest, the new tasks you need to complete will be displayed in the menu under Challenges and under the section “Free Play”.
The Tomb of Yvenia
The Tomb of Yvenia is located directly northwest of Fort Tarsis and is not hard to find.
You need to complete these tasks to open the Tomb of Yvenia:
Open 15 treasure chests
Collect 25 materials
Repair 3 Javelins
Find 10 collectibles
Finding collectibles in Anthem? Many players did not even know what exactly those were until this quest. They are books, documents, inscriptions, and other lore items. You can find them randomly in the open world. Apparently, they are mainly found around buildings and tents. In the following video, you can see the locations of 10 of these collectibles:

This is how you find treasure chests: Head into free play, preferably on hard. This way, the probability of landing on a map with 3 other players is at least lower. Treasure chests are scattered all over, usually found in ravines or at the bottom of lakes and waterfalls.
Only each chest you find counts that you open yourself. At the moment (February 20), it is not counted for the whole group. This should change in the future via patch.
For example, you can find a chest directly when you leave Fort Tarsis. As soon as you spawn, fly straight ahead. Soon, you should see a waterfall flowing into a kind of round ravine below you. At the bottom of that water body, you will find a chest.
You can find more chests in our guide to the locations:
The Tomb of Artinia is located north of the Yvenia Tomb. Just orient yourself at the edge of the map.
You need to complete these tasks to open the Tomb of Artinia:
Kill 9 elite enemies
Complete 5 world events
30 weapon kills
Achieve 15 weak point kills
Where do I find elite enemies? You can recognize elite enemies by their designation “(Elite)” in the name. You can mainly find them on missions and strongholds, but also during world events in free play.
The Tomb of Cariff
The Tomb of Cariff is located in the Emerald Abyss area, at the northeastern edge of the map.
You need to complete these tasks to open the Tomb of Cariff:
This is how you achieve kill streaks: A kill streak counts if you eliminate 8 enemies within 10 seconds. You need to do this 3 times.
You must ensure that you actually deal the final blow and that your enemies are not eliminated by an effect or a teammate.
Explosive skills are especially suitable for this purpose. Examples of skills that can effectively kill multiple enemies at once are the poison cloud of the Interceptor and the grenade launcher of the Colossus.
The ultimate ability of the Ranger is probably the best way to take out many enemies at once. The same goes for the Storm’s ultimate, which rains down elemental storms.
This is how you achieve gear kills: Gear kills are kills made with one of your skills. The Colossus is particularly well-suited to achieve gear kills with its flamethrower. However, this can essentially be done with any Javelin.
The Tomb of Gawnes
The Tomb of Gawnes is located in the northwest of the map. Orient yourself from Fort Tarsis along the western edge of the map, and you should find it.
You need to complete these tasks to open the Tomb of Gawnes:
Achieve 50 melee kills
Make 50 ultimate kills
Complete 3 legendary kills
Where do I find legendary enemies? You can recognize legendary enemies by their designation “(Legendary)” in the name. Like elite enemies, you can find legendary foes on missions and strongholds and also during world events.
This is how you easily achieve melee kills: The Interceptor is very well suited to achieve the required melee kills.
Use world events: World events are a very good way to fulfill many of these tasks at once, as they consist of several waves of enemies and also present you with legendary and elite enemies.
On February 22, Anthem officially releases on PC, Xbox One, and PS4:
The Division 2 fully focuses on the endgame, unlike its predecessor, and aims to offer players a lot even after the story. We show you 9 things that should convince you of the endgame.
Fans can look forward to a lot: Since the announcement of The Division 2, developer Massive has been confident about the endgame content. They are sure that they will meet the players’ expectations upon release.
In addition to the 3 Dark Zones, PvP modes, and specializations, there is also a new endgame faction, the Black Tusk.
Who is Black Tusk? Details about their role are not yet known. What is certain is that Black Tusk is a particularly heavily armed group.
It is possibly a highly technized mercenary unit. Who is pulling the strings behind it is unknown.
What makes Black Tusk so dangerous? Since they are an endgame faction, they are supposed to bring a certain challenge.
Black Tusk behaves more tactically than other factions and uses everything against you in combat:
Gadgets like walking bots equipped with turrets
Drones that explode as soon as they reach you,
Heavily armored enemies with Gatlings, grenade launchers, and other artillery
Even a quadcopter is part of their arsenal
The arsenal of the Black Tusk is probably quite well equipped
…and takes over the city
This is how Black Tusk attempts to conquer Washington D.C.: As soon as Black Tusk appears in the open world, you can encounter them everywhere.
They conquer the control points and fortifications of D.C., including those that do not belong to the Division or the civilians.
This not only leads to conflicts with “the good guys,” but also with other enemy factions like the True Sons.
With Black Tusk, all of D.C. is supposed to remain dynamic even in the endgame and continually give you something to do, like retaking a control point from the Black Tusk. They also intervene in missions, the so-called invaded missions.
Invaded missions after the story
What are invaded missions? These are basically new versions of the campaign missions that you can play after completing the story and reaching level 30.
This is how world ranks work: Veterans of The Division 1 should remember the world ranks. They are unlocked at level 30.
There are a total of 5 ranks, with each higher rank also having stronger enemies. However, once you reach level 30, only world rank 1 is initially available.
This is how you unlock world ranks: To unlock ranks 2-4, you must face the Black Tusk and conquer one of their so-called strongholds per world rank.
For world rank 5, you must finally take a particularly large base located at the Tidal Basin. This is a partially artificially created reservoir with a lake that is close to historical buildings like the Jefferson Memorial.
The higher you rise in world ranks, the better the loot you receive. This way, you can gradually work your way up and increase your gear score.
Optimize your gear score
What is gear score? While levels 1-30 still require every piece of equipment to meet a level requirement, after level 30 the gear score indicates the strength of your equipment. Your gear score is calculated from the average of the individual parts.
However, the gear score is only a rough indicator and does not show how well an build is optimized.
The fundamental goal is therefore to master the world ranks and maximize the gear score. For this, there are a whole lot of activities and better gear available.
Here you see high-end equipment with a gear score of 342
The 3 specializations open up new playstyles
What are specializations? They are basically new skills and weapons that can be unlocked once you reach level 30.
At launch of The Division 2, there will be 3 specializations:
Sniper
Survival Specialist
Demolition Expert
Each of these specializations comes with its own signature weapon.
The sniper has a .50 caliber precision rifle,
the survival specialist uses a crossbow with explosive bolts
and the demolition expert has a grenade launcher at their disposal.
Along with these signature weapons come special skill mods and other perks that are supposed to support the playstyle of the respective specialization. You can switch freely between them.
Further information can be found on our website Mein-MMO:
What is a Dark Zone? It is an area that combines PvE and PvP elements. This area is cut off from the rest of the open world and must be entered through a control point.
In the Dark Zone, you have the highest density of loot drops, so it is worth going farming there. But beware, other players can snatch your loot away from you. A part of the things you find there is contaminated and must first be flown out by helicopter.
Don’t let your loot be stolen: In the Dark Zone, you can encounter both NPCs and other players. These players can either be friendly to you or decide to go rogue.
Or you become rogue yourself and target other players. This unpredictability is what makes the Dark Zone appealing and has brought a lot of fun to many fans in The Division 1.
This is changing compared to the predecessor: Unlike The Division 1, where there was only one large, contiguous Dark Zone, there will be three different Dark Zones in The Division 2. These are located in different districts of Washington D.C.
What else is changing in the Dark Zone, you can read about on our website:
This is what the endgame offers for PvP fans: In addition to the Dark Zone, there is also a dedicated PvP area for The Division 2 called Conflict.
At launch, Conflict brings 2 PvP modes:
Skirmish
Domination
In both modes, it’s 4vs4 players on their own maps. While Skirmish is a classic team deathmatch, in Domination you have to capture and hold 3 positions.
This is what we know about the raid: Ubisoft has now announced the name of the first raid on Twitter. It is an activity for 8 players that will expand the endgame after release.
This raid will be called “Operation Dark Hours” and is apparently located in the National Ronald Reagan Airport of Washington D.C. This was revealed by the latest endgame trailer for The Division 2.
It is expected to start shortly after the release on March 15, likely as part of the 1st free DLC. It may also arrive as a separate update. We will keep you updated on this.
You can find an overview of the endgame content here:
Fortnite: Battle Royale faces tough competition from the new battle royale game Apex Legends. Nevertheless, the player count for Epic’s successful game continues to rise. The genre appears to have enough space for two big titles.
What is the new player record? The Fortnite developers at Epic Games have recorded a new player milestone. On February 16, 2019, there were 7.6 million players online at the same time. This was the largest player count outside of an event.
In fact, February 16 was just an ordinary day without a special event or a patch. The event record, however, still stands at 10.7 million concurrent players who witnessed the big Marshmello concert at the beginning of February.
Fortnite is certainly not dead, even if some would like to see it that way.
As many Fortnite streamers immediately started playing the new game intensively, rumors of Fortnite’s death spread quickly. Apex does so much right and better than Fortnite. Especially the gunplay comes without annoying bloom, there are well-balanced heroes, and a lot of extremely cool comfort features that hardly anyone wants to miss anymore.
Why is Fortnite still so successful? However, there is no talk of a decline or even a death of Fortnite. Rather, the numbers are still increasing. Epic has indeed implemented several clever initiatives that have ensured action and full servers even during the traditionally slow transition period between two seasons:
All these innovations were implemented by Epic quickly and largely successfully. The competition from Apex Legends may have played a significant role.
The genre has enough space for two big games
Why Apex is not the big Fortnite killer: However, the competition doesn’t seem that fierce, as the battle royale genre likely has enough room for two large free-to-play games. Both Apex and Fortnite cater to different player needs:
Apex Legends is more interesting for pure shooter fans because its gunplay is perceived as better and there is no building involved.
Fortnite, on the other hand, is a phenomenon among teenagers and children, impressing with massive events, constantly new features, and a crazy building mode.
Apex Legends is also catching up.
Therefore, both games can likely coexist well side by side and secure a large core audience that provides them with good revenue.
Nonetheless, it is interesting how both games have recently provided numerous updates and new elements to keep their content-hungry players entertained.
The competition may not be as tough as assumed, but it definitely enlivens the business and benefits the players.
An analysis firm surveyed over 600 gamers on PS4 and Xbox One to see if they would buy Anthem . One in four console owners said “Yes” – which surprised the analysts.
What kind of survey is this? The analysis firm “Piper Jaffray” surveyed over 600 console owners at the end of January about their plans to purchase Anthem:
22% said “Yes” and expressed their purchase interest in Anthem, it is stated
For comparison:
In September 2015, a similar survey for Call of Duty Black Ops 3 showed 40% purchase interest. The game sold 23 to 24 million units in its first year, making it a huge hit.
Purchase intention for Anthem at 25% “surprisingly high”
This is how analysts reacted to the first survey: The analysts were apparently surprised that so many said they wanted to buy Anthem. Because the responses indicated significantly higher sales numbers than the analysts had anticipated.
So Piper Jaffray conducted another smaller survey on 11.2. to confirm or refute their results. In that one, they said
35% of console owners said they intended to buy Anthem – even more than in the first survey
Thus, both surveys indicate that one in four owners (25%) of a console plan to acquire Anthem.
This is the insight now: Piper Jaffray has increased their valuation of Electronic Arts’ stock after these two surveys. They speak of “remarkably high interest” in buying the game Anthem.
As confirmation of the thesis, they point out that the ratio of “likes to dislikes” on YouTube for Anthem trailers is surprisingly positive. There are 17 likes for every dislike, and the ratio is similar to that of Call of Duty Black Ops 4 and higher than for titles like Destiny 1 or the last two Assassin’s Creeds.
The team change in Pokémon GO poses problems for many players. Some fear that their team will become extinct as soon as a change is possible.
The team change was desired by many players and is now imminent. However, some players are concerned about their team, as it could almost become extinct in some cities.
Many players are likely to switch teams, as it is poorly represented in their city and they often have too few balls during raids. Will certain colors hardly be seen in the cities anymore?
We show you the players’ concerns and investigate the issue.
What players fear about the team change
This is why some players are afraid: On Reddit, a few players are concerned. They fear that their team color could become extinct when the change is possible. Many trainers will likely leave the team that is underrepresented in their city, players say.
This will make the team change possible.
“I hope that my negative feelings on this topic are unfounded. But I fear that the dominance of Team Blue will only worsen when the item is released.”
The feature is useless for some players: Other players see the item as useless. They write that they will remain loyal to their team, no matter how many players will leave their team.
“I am and will always be fully yellow!” writes “Macaveli54” on the topic.
This is why a team could become extinct now: There are many reasons why players could switch from smaller teams. If many trainers were to do so, a team could completely die out.
What disadvantages does a small team have? Those living in smaller places will be familiar with the problem of a small team. For some team colors, there are sometimes only a handful of active players in the city. This brings some disadvantages.
For example, gyms are only occupied by one player after hours, as no other players of that color passed by the gym. This makes it significantly harder for these players to hold a gym.
Also in raids, trainers from the small team have a disadvantage. The team that dealt the least damage gets the least balls for catching the raid boss. This makes it much harder for these players to catch the Pokémon.
What do you think about the debate over team change?
Only a few weeks left until Season 5 in Destiny 2 ends. Bungie has now announced what changes Guardians can expect in the new season for Gambit. The goal is to make the mode more attractive.
This is why Gambit will be important next season: Season 6 will focus on the Gambit mode and its host, the Drifter. The PvEvP mode is expected to receive new maps and even private matches.
This will change in Gambit in Season 6: In this context, the developers at Bungie want to implement numerous improvements to make the mode more attractive and respond to community feedback.
These adjustments have now been presented in the latest “This Week at Bungie” blog. Here are all known changes so far:
The third round of Gambit will be the K.O. mode and starts directly with the fight against the primeval. This aims to shorten Gambit matches and make the final round faster-paced. This addresses one of the biggest criticisms from fans – the long match duration.
Another point of criticism, the spawn points of the invaders, will also be addressed. The number of possible spawn positions for invaders on each map will be increased. This will reduce the chance of spawning directly in front of an opponent.
Additionally, with the inactivity protection, another requested feature will be added. Guardians who are inactive for too long will not receive rewards or infamy points at the end of the match.
Blocker enemy types will be adjusted based on the amount delivered.
Small Blocker is a Taken Goblin. This has less health than the previous Phalanx.
Medium Blocker will be a Taken Captain, but with more health than the previous Knights.
Large Blocker is a Taken Knight with more health than the previous Ogre.
Additionally, the Triumph “Light vs. Light” will be revised. It will now be enough to eliminate any Guardians with a Super. You will no longer have to focus only on invaders.
Note that these are not all the upcoming changes for the Gambit mode. More information will follow soon.
Bonus points for the season finale: By the way, to properly close out Season 5 in Gambit, there will be triple infamy points in Destiny 2 from 26.02. to 05.03.
What do you think of these adjustments? Does Gambit become more attractive for you because of this? Or can you not relate to this mode with these changes?

In The Division 2, the current Technical Test shows that the Open Beta will be in a better state than the Private Beta. Here are initial opinions from testers.
According to Massive, this test only includes a portion of the Private Beta content. The goal is to test fixes and improvements based on user feedback so that the Open Beta experience runs as smoothly as possible.
However, testers have now discovered new content that was not present in the Private Beta. Since this Technical Test is meant to serve as a precursor to the Open Beta, one can expect that this content will also be available in the upcoming test phase for everyone.
New mission to see: While the Private Beta featured two story missions from the campaign, a third mission is visible in the current test. This one is called “Viewpoint Museum.” However, it is not playable yet – that may change in the Open Beta.
According to user reports, it is recommended from level 6. It takes place in the “Newseum” – a museum for journalism in Washington – and it involves fighting the True Sons.
Chem Launcher is available: The Chem Launcher is one of the 8 skills in The Division 2. It was not available in the Private Beta, but during the Technical Test, it can be tested at will.
What is a Chem Launcher? Essentially, it is a type of grenade launcher that fires certain chemicals. In the test, there is a
flammable gas that can be ignited (Firestarter)
and a sticky foam that immobilizes enemies for a short time (Riot Foam)
to see. According to YouTuber MarcoStyle, the Chem Launcher is a cool skill, but he is dissatisfied with the controls on PC. Apparently, you have to hold “E” while aiming.
Chem Launcher in The Division 2
Whether this content will make it into the Open Beta is still not confirmed. However, it is very likely. According to an intro screen of the test, the Chem Launcher will definitely be included in the Open Beta.
With the following improvements, one can count on certainty.
These improvements are highlighted by some users
Some opinions from testers in overview:
“Call for Backup” adjustment: During the Private Beta, players frequently received the message that an agent was calling for backup. This could be turned off, but in the next session it was active again. The messages every minute annoyed many players. In the Technical Test, this option can be permanently turned off. This observation has received hundreds of upvotes on reddit.
NPC animations seem significantly better. They no longer teleport around or repeat the same lines constantly. However, one user claims that NPC teleports still occur rarely when enemies should actually be climbing somewhere.
Character movement is less buggy than in the Private Beta.
The character movement has slightly changed. Movements are smoother, sprinting feels quicker. Shooting also feels faster – the pace of the game is generally faster. Overall, the controls are now really good.
The graphic quality overall seems improved.
Enemies charging at you and beating you have a shorter attack range.
Some sound bugs still occurred.
No Delta errors, many players report.
Numerous users express optimism that the Open Beta of The Division 2 could already be in a really good state.
It will definitely be worth checking out the upcoming beta phase.
Blizzard has released a new story snippet for Overwatch . This hints at a new hero. However, it looks like it will not be the hero we already know.
This was shown: Blizzard released a short video in a tweet from the official Overwatch channel, showcasing some commands and sequences of numbers. In the upper right corner, the Talon symbol can be seen.
At the end of the video, Sombra’s skull briefly flickers, as seen in her AR game. The tweet states that someone has gained unauthorized access to a communication log of Captain Cuerva. There is also a link to a letter.

This is stated in the letter: The brief letter is the “last communication” made with the deployment team of Captain Cuerva. The team’s mission is to “retrieve” or eliminate a Jean-Baptiste Augustin, known as Baptiste, from Haiti, should that not be possible. The reason for this is a desertion from the criminal organization Talon.
However, the team’s mission apparently failed. First, three members of the deployment team, who previously belonged to Jean-Baptiste Augustin’s unit, disappeared. Cuerva, who trained Baptiste himself, then gathered his troops and prepared for the mission.
His final words were that he would not fail, and the mission would be executed. Apparently, that was not the case, as it is the “last” message from the Captain.
Who is Baptiste? Some details about Baptiste can be gleaned from the letter, in case he becomes the new hero:
he is a medic
he belonged to Talon
he is a good shot, adaptable, and a survivor
All of this suggests that Baptiste will be a (ex-)Talon healer who may use similar cloaking mechanics as Sombra or similar shooting mechanics as Ana.
Echo is the character that some thought was Athena.
What exactly to expect remains uncertain. However, Blizzard likes to tease new content for some time, as was the case with Wrecking Ball. So we will likely find out more soon.
What do you think about this matter? Will Baptiste be the new hero or will it turn out to be a dead end? For more information and news, also visit our Overwatch page on Facebook.
The French-sounding name Baptiste would fit well with the new map in Overwatch:
With Bless Unleashed, Neowiz is working on an Xbox One version of the PC MMORPG Bless Online, which is understood to be a standalone game. The new trailer also confirms that the release will take place in 2019.
What does the trailer show? The trailer introduces the Ranger class from Bless Unleashed. In the video, the ranged fighter called “Death from Afar” deals significant damage – even against giant monsters. Some skills can also be seen, such as aerial attacks and quick consecutive strikes. The ranged fighter seems to be becoming an effective damage dealer.

What else does the video show? It is apparent that the graphics of Bless Online appear more detailed and effects-rich than in Bless Online. This is because the title for Xbox One is based on Unreal Engine 4, while Bless Online still relies on Unreal Engine 3. This visual difference is already noticeable in the title. Whether this will also lead to better performance than Bless Online remains to be seen.
What about the release? Alongside the trailer, publisher Bandai Namco mentions that the launch of Bless Online is still planned for 2019. According to current information, it is expected to be at the end of the year.
The Fortnite developer Epic reacts to the revelation of a pedophile community on the YouTube platform. Epic will no longer advertise for the shooter Fortnite . YouTube promises action.
This educational video causes a stir: Content creator Matt Watson uploaded a video to YouTube on February 17, accusing YouTube of enabling “the sexual exploitation of children” and profiting from it.

In the video, Watson explains how to configure a new YouTube account to show videos featuring children by searching for terms like “Bikini Haul”.
These videos are not “pornographic” per se, but a community has formed in the comments that points out timestamps where children are sexualized.
The educational video by Watson shows that ads from companies like Grammarly or Google Chromebooks are displayed before these videos.

Epic withdraws ads – YouTube promises action
This is how Epic reacts: The company behind Fortnite, Epic Games, has stopped all advertising before YouTube videos.
They have reached out to YouTube through the advertising agency to tell them to remove such content from their platform, as reported to The Verge.
This is how YouTube reacts: They claim to have acted immediately and deleted accounts and channels. They have forwarded illegal activities to the authorities.
YouTube condemns any content that endangers minors and has clear guidelines to prevent the endangerment of minors on YouTube. However, there is more to do, and they are working to recognize abuse faster.
This is why it is so sensitive for YouTube: There was a similar uproar in July 2017 over YouTube videos and ads. Large companies sounded the alarm because their ads were shown before content they did not want to be associated with: hateful or violent videos.
YouTube responded with stricter filters and de-monetized certain types of content.
At that time, it was referred to as the great “Adpocalypse”: Some gaming YouTubers saw their income drop because “violent video games” could apparently no longer be monetized.
After that, some YouTubers moved to Twitch.
The criticism that big platforms employ too few “human reviewers” and rely too much on still immature algorithms to enforce their rules has been a major point of contention against tech giants for years.
In Apex Legends there are currently two legends that you cannot play right away. You must unlock them or pay real money. Therefore, the question arises: Which one is worth it for which type of player?
How do you get the two heroes? The two legends Caustic and Mirage are only available for Legend Tokens or Apex Coins. You can acquire them as follows:
You need 12,000 Legend Tokens. You earn these through leveling up, which you gain through experience points. The more aggressively and successfully you play in a match, the more XP you will earn at the end. From around level 23, you can unlock one of the two characters.
For 750 Apex Coins, you can also get one of the heroes. The coins are only available in the cash shop. 1,000 coins cost 9.99 Euros. Thus, 750 can be had for around 7.50 Euros.
This is how you unlock the new heroes
If you don’t want to spend too much money or are not progressing well, you should read the following paragraphs carefully, where we explain both characters in detail and give tips on who should unlock which hero first.
Caustic
This is Caustic: Caustic is a psychopath who enjoys killing people with poison gas and sees it all as an experiment. He is a rather defensive character who booby traps areas with gas traps and quickly detects when an enemy enters his perimeter.
The poison gas deals damage, slows enemies, and exposes them in the gas cloud. Caustic himself can see through the gas clouds and is immune to the poison.
As an ultimate, he can throw a gas grenade that drives enemies out of cover or kills them over time.
Why you should unlock Caustic: Caustic is ideal for players who like to play tactically and lure enemies into traps. He allows for delightfully nasty actions, such as trapping enemies in rooms with gas traps and letting the trapped enemies die slowly in the gas.
Caustic shows no mercy.
Additionally, Caustic is a real villain and perfect for anyone who wants to play a bad guy. However, keep in mind that his skills are very situational and Caustic may not always be optimal in offensive maneuvers.
Mirage
This is Mirage: The joker Mirage is one of the funniest heroes in the game. He always has a silly remark ready and has some skills with which you can ultimately annoy enemies. He can send out an illusion at any time, which usually draws fire.
This is ideal for distracting the opponent in wild fights or to see if the coast is clear. If the illusion is shot at, you know that enemies are nearby and recognize their position.
If Mirage is downed, he becomes invisible for a few seconds and leaves behind an illusion. Ideal for escaping a tricky situation.
As his ultimate ability, Mirage sends out multiple illusions and becomes invisible himself. The effect is similar to Wraith’s phase. This maneuver is ideal for escaping a tough fight or creating a distraction.
Mirage is quite the rascal.
Why you should unlock Mirage: Mirage has the advantage that his skills are very easy to learn. His tactical ability and his ultimate function quite similarly and can be applied intuitively.
Additionally, Mirage supports an offensive playstyle and rewards you for playing aggressively and regularly using your skills. Plus, he continually cracks silly jokes.
Which hero is better?
Ultimately, it depends on your individual preference as to whom you unlock first. But in the end, Mirage is probably more recommended for most players:
Recently, Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 introduced loot boxes. This caused many fans to take to arms, and accusations of lies were made. Now, Treyarch has addressed these allegations.
What happened? With the start of the new season in the form of the Operation Grand Heist, numerous new contents and features were introduced to Black Ops 4, including loot boxes.
The studio design lead at Treyarch, David Vonderhaar, was even accused of lying in connection with the loot boxes. Now Vonderhaar has responded to the allegations and defended himself.
What is being accused? Specifically, Vonderhaar is accused of lying in an interview with Game Informer. There, he stated before the release of the game that, for instance, additional characters in Black Ops 4 would not be unlocked through loot boxes but only through missions and progress in the game.
This is now obviously not the case. Because the loot boxes include not only purely cosmetic content but apparently also weapons and characters from past operations.
This is what Vonderhaar says about the allegations: The design director defends himself and emphasizes that it was exactly as he stated at the time of the interview.
However, things have changed over time. Things he neither knew then nor could have foreseen. Particularly regarding economic aspects and decisions in which he has no insight, let alone control.
He can only refer to what has already been done or what is planned to be done. He tries to answer questions as best as he can with all the available information.
And if things change over time, then perhaps one can accuse him of not being a clairvoyant. But not of being a liar who is trying to deliberately deceive the fans. That is definitely not the case.
The alternative would be simply not to give any more interviews. With this thought, he has been playing more strongly lately, said Vonderhaar.
This is how fans react to the response: Numerous fans express understanding for the studio head and emphasize that he is certainly not responsible for the microtransactions or loot boxes in the game.
This is a matter for Activision, not for a design director. From his response, it can be clearly inferred that the loot boxes were likely pushed by Activision.
However, there are also many players who were not satisfied with Vonderhaar’s statement. He is still being accused of dishonesty and insincerity.
Given his years of collaboration with Activision, he should have enough experience to avoid statements like those in the interview or at least to question them. He could have easily imagined that loot boxes would come into the game and that they would be important for players.
However, Vonderhaar has not commented further on the discussion.
At ArenaNet, the developer of Guild Wars 2, layoffs of employees are occurring. The reason for this seems to be the decline in revenue and delays in new projects.
How many employees will be laid off? Officially, there are currently no numbers on how many employees are to be laid off. However, according to the US site Kotaku, it is expected to be a larger number.
Why are employees being laid off? The reason for the layoffs, according to Songyee Yoon, the CEO of the Korean publisher NCSoft, includes not only the decline in revenue from last year.
At NCSoft, there seems to be dissatisfaction with new projects from ArenaNet. In addition to Guild Wars 2, at least one mobile game was being worked on behind the scenes. There were apparently delays there.
Furthermore, NCSoft cites higher costs in the West as a reason to restructure the NCWest division. Alongside Guild Wars, Blade & Soul, Aion: Legions of War, and Lineage II are also distributed there for the Western market. Last year, Wildstar was already shut down.
Is Guild Wars 2 affected by the layoffs?
Which developers will be laid off specifically has not yet been determined. However, ArenaNet has commented on this in its own forum.
ArenaNet maintains its planned course: They confirmed the work on the Living World Season 4 and the subsequent Season 5. Additionally, more major updates for the game are planned.
In a statement to Gamesindustry, ArenaNet emphasized that the layoffs would not affect the services of Guild Wars and Guild Wars 2.
NCSoft is getting more involved: It is clear that NCSoft will take over the publishing of Guild Wars 2 again and that the companies will be getting closer together. ArenaNet is a subsidiary of NCSoft but had a lot of freedom in decisions recently.
Is Guild Wars 2 already running on low power? Former employee Jessica Price also spoke up on Twitter. She was laid off last year after a sexism debate on Twitter and was not very favorable towards her former employer afterward.
For her, the news about the layoffs is not surprising. She speaks of two new projects alongside Guild Wars that have already taken up a lot of developer time.
It appears that employees from Guild Wars 2 have gradually been pulled away as others were supposed to outwardly give the impression that everything was proceeding as usual.
In reality, however, the teams were already very small.
Are the layoffs surprising? The particularly tragic aspect of the situation is that ArenaNet had reacted to the layoffs at Blizzard. They even offered these positions to their own team.
At that time, probably no one knew that soon jobs at ArenaNet would also be cut.
In FIFA 19 the winter upgrades of the Serie A are active. Some player cards are now significantly more exciting due to the new ratings.
That’s why the upgrades are interesting: The winter upgrades for the Italian Serie A bring 23 new cards with updated, improved values. This is a selection of players who received new cards in FUT 19 for their performances in the first half of the season.
For many FUT fans, Serie A teams are particularly popular this year. This is partly due to the numerous strong players that the league has to offer. And on the other hand, there’s also Cristiano Ronaldo, whom many players want in their teams.
If you play with a Serie A team, the new winter upgrades now offer you fresh alternatives. We will show you which players are particularly worth it now.
Allan: 82 to 84
Allan: 84
That’s why the card is interesting: The 82-rated card of Allan is by no means bad; it is very popular and found in many Serie A teams. However, quite a few improvements have been made to his new card. Thanks to the winter upgrades, the Brazilian midfielder now has an overall rating of 84.
Speed: 75 -> 77
Shooting: 66 -> 68
Passing: 76 -> 77
Dribbling: 81 -> 83
Defending: 82 -> 84
Physical: 80 -> 82
His defensive stats have been significantly improved, but his dribbling and physical stats also receive decent upgrades.
Conclusion on Allan: As a solution for the CM or (especially) the CDM position, there is hardly anything to criticize about Allan; he offers strong stats and has fantastic stamina. So this card is definitely recommended; however, his only drawback lies in the shooting stats. You probably won’t score many goals with Allan.
He is priced at around 8000 coins.
Wojciech Szczesny: 84 to 86
Wojciech Szczesny: 86
That’s why the card is interesting: With the many good goalkeepers in Serie A, it’s hard to decide, but Szczesny’s winter upgrade is worth a second look. He has received a new card with an overall rating of 86 thanks to the upgrade.
Diving: 85 -> 86
Handling: 81 -> 83
Goal kick: 71 -> 73
Reflexes: 87 -> 88
Speed: 51 -> 52
Positioning: 82 -> 84
All values have been increased, but especially his handling and positioning have been significantly improved.
Conclusion on Wojciech Szczesny: With Szczesny, you get a good all-round goalkeeper; he is very tall at 1.95m and has no significant weaknesses. Many players swear by his original card, so the new, improved card will surely not let you down.
He is priced at around 30000 coins.
João Cancelo: 81 to 83
João Cancelo: 83
That’s why the card is interesting: Cancelo has already received 3 Inform cards this season, confirming why he deserves this winter upgrade card.
Speed: 88 -> 89
Shooting: 64 -> 65
Passing: 77 -> 78
Dribbling: 81 -> 83
Defending: 77 -> 78
Physical: 71 -> 73
He is an extremely fast and dribbling strong right back. Therefore, his new gold card is quite interesting. It is particularly improved in the areas of physical and dribbling. As a result, the card offers very decent stats overall.
Conclusion on João Cancelo: Thanks to the winter upgrade, João Cancelo is the best right back in the Italian League. Therefore, a version of the Portuguese should definitely be playing in your RB position. You can’t go wrong with that.
He is also not too expensive, with around 8000 coins you are in the game.
The action RPG Anthem comes with many new features. According to some players, these could be better explained in the game.
What is the problem? Anthem was released on February 22nd. Some players were able to test the shooter in the demo and in early access, but felt a bit lost: In their opinion, Anthem brings many fresh features that are inadequately explained in the game itself.
In the Anthem subreddit, user TzarWolfie has compiled a list of things that he believes are simply not sufficiently explained. The post has already accumulated nearly 5,000 upvotes.
What should be explained better? TzarWolfie has listed some features that play an important role in the game, but in his opinion are hardly explained. What good is it to Anthem if it has great gameplay features that no one understands?
Primer and Detonator
This is unclear: According to TzarWolfie, Primers and Detonators belong to the most important system the game has to offer, but are hardly explained. The tutorial section in the Cortex only briefly touches upon the terms.
This is how it works: Primers are abilities that apply a negative status effect to enemies and are marked in-game with a circle icon. Detonators trigger a combo on an enemy that was hit with a Primer attack and are marked in-game with a star.
Is this Interceptor ability a Primer or Detonator?
Combo Effects
This is unclear: The four different Javelins receive different effects when they trigger a combo. According to the player, this is another feature that is hardly mentioned in the game.
This is how it works: The combo system is an important feature with which the different Javelins can trigger synergies and thus deal more damage. These effects trigger combos for the respective Javelins:
Ranger deals increased damage to a single target
The Colossus deals area damage around the target
Storm transfers the elemental effect to nearby enemies
The Interceptor receives an aura that depends on the elemental effect with which he attacks the target
Everything about Primers, Detonators, and Combo Effects we have here for you:
Description for Components, Perks, and Inscription
This is unclear: This point is the most unclear for TzarWolfie, as the game has so many different keywords, descriptions, and status effects, such as for components, equipment, and weapons, where no one really knows what they do.
What do terms like aura combo pulse frequency, effect build-up, or combo chain mean? According to the player, the terminology in Anthem needs another revision.
Daily, Weekly, and Monthly Challenges
This is unclear: Do you also always go to Lucky Jak and his hourglasses to pick up your challenges and think that you only have one daily, weekly, and monthly task to choose from? Or do you wonder what rewards you have received for the tasks?
This is how it works: Check your Cortex under Challenges and “Path to Glory”. There are more challenges waiting for you because you can also take on more tasks.
You can read which rewards you have received for the respective challenges under the “Challenge” tab. According to TzarWolfie, this is another detail that should be explained more clearly in the game.
The game also does not tell you what rewards you receive for a rank-up with the factions. For example, players unlock new metals for personalizing their Javelin with each rank-up. The metal that transforms the Ranger into Iron Man, for instance, is available at reputation rank 3 with the Arcanists. However, this is not explained anywhere and is hidden under “Reputation” in the Cortex.
What do you think? Is Anthem really not explained enough or is it just right? Which features would you like to see explained in more detail?
In Pokémon GO, you will soon be able to switch teams! Niantic confirms that this feature will be implemented in a few days.
A wish from many players: The team switch has been requested by many players, and now Niantic is finally implementing this feature.
If you had chosen the wrong team and could not take gyms with your friends, that will change now. With the team change in Pokémon GO, every player can now switch their team.
This is known about the team switch
From when can you switch? Niantic states that the start time for the team switch is February 26. An item will be available in the shop at 10 PM that will allow you to switch.
How does the change work? To switch, you must purchase the Team Medallion in the in-game shop. Only with this item is a switch possible.
How much does the team switch cost? This item costs 1000 Pokécoins, which is approximately 10 euros. After purchasing the medallion, you can use the item and perform the team switch.
How often can you switch teams? You cannot switch teams daily. In 365 days, a switch is only possible once. If you choose a different team, you must swear loyalty to that team for at least a year.
You must note: If you still have Pokémon in gyms that you need for gold, you should wait a bit. When you switch teams, all your Pokémon will return to you. You will not sit in any gyms anymore. You also will not receive coins for their return.
What do you think about the team switch? Will you change your color?
However, some players fear that a team color will go extinct:
With the major update 2.2.0, there will be significant changes in March for Destiny 2 in the next season. Among other things, one of the most powerful Titan Exotics will be nerfed, and some weapon categories will be adjusted.
What happened? In the latest edition of the “This Week at Bungie” blog, the developers provided a brief insight into the changes that will come to the Guardians with the March update 2.2.0.
The most important thing: The One-Eyed Mask of the Titan will be nerfed. Additionally, a lot will change for shotguns and linear fusion rifles.
This is how the One-Eyed Mask will change
Many fans, especially PvP players, have been waiting for this. The exotic Titan helmet One-Eyed Mask will finally be revised by Bungie after months of demands from numerous players.
What defines the One-Eyed Mask? The exotic perk Revenge marks enemies that deal damage to you for 15 seconds. If you then eliminate this foe, the mask grants its wearer increased damage, health regeneration, and an overshield.
This is the issue with this exotic helmet: In its current form, the mask is considered overpowered and is essentially the most common Titan Exotic in the Crucible. Enemies are marked for a long time, the wearer can fully recover after a kill, and subsequently deals increased damage.
This is how the One-Eyed Mask will change: The changes should keep the mask effective, but there should be more opportunities to counter the wearer.
The duration of the exotic perk Revenge will be reduced from 15 to 8 seconds.
Additionally, health will regenerate differently. Previously, health was fully restored after a kill. The overshield charged over time. Now, health will also charge over time.
The exotic perk Revenge will no longer trigger during the super. This made the wearer almost invincible.
Bungie emphasizes that they will continue to listen to player feedback and can make further adjustments if necessary.
These weapon changes come with the new update
In addition to the adjustments to the One-Eyed Mask, several changes will also be made to two weapon categories. Currently, shotguns and linear fusion rifles are affected.
This is changing with linear fusion rifles: Bungie found this weapon category to be too dominant, especially in Gambit – particularly the Sleeper Simulant and the Queenbreaker. Therefore, they have now made some further adjustments:
The aim-assist of linear fusion rifles will be adjusted to reduce effectiveness at very long distances. This will especially be noticeable with the Queenbreaker. A problem has been identified where this exotic weapon had more than double the aim-assist than intended.
As compensation for this nerf, linear fusion rifles will receive a 10% damage increase in PvE.
This is changing with shotguns: For shotguns, changes will primarily be made to the rapid-fire archetype and the fully automatic perk.
This perk essentially doubled the damage output of every shotgun. As a result, rapid-fire shotguns were predominantly used in PvE. Now, other archetypes should also see more use.
Here are the upcoming changes for shotguns:
Shotguns will receive a damage multiplier in PvE. This should nearly double the damage dealt. The only exception: the exotic shotgun Legend of Acrius.
The fire rate bonus of the fully automatic perk for shotguns will be reduced from +100% to +10%.
The standard fire rate of the different archetypes will change.
Aggressive shotguns will fire at 55 rounds per minute (previously 45).
Precision shotguns will fire at 70 rounds per minute (previously 55).
Lightweight shotguns will fire at 80 rounds per minute (previously mistakenly stated as 90).
Rapid-fire shotguns will fire at 140 rounds per minute (previously 200 due to fully automatic).
The base damage for shotguns has been consistently lowered to match the new fire rates.
Ammunition reserves have been adjusted, as their efficiency has been increased due to more damage per shot.
The range of shotguns has been slightly reduced in PvP, where they can achieve a one-hit kill.
What do you think of the nerf to the One-Eyed Mask? And what are your thoughts on the upcoming weapon adjustments?
When new special research comes to Pokémon GO, the tasks will likely be designed a bit differently. That’s what Niantic says.
What is it about? The special research in Pokémon GO are special task series that players can complete. There is also a story to follow. In the end, a special reward awaits, such as the mythical Pokémon Mew. It can only be obtained through this special research, not found in the wild.
In the future, the format in which the special research takes place might change. An employee from Niantic explains that they are still working on the fine-tuning.
Who spoke? Matt Slemon is a Product Manager at Niantic and spoke in an interview with Polygon about the past, present, and future of Pokémon GO.
What did he say? As Polygon reports, changes to the special research are probably planned. It seems that they want to create tasks that players will remember more vividly in the future.
Regarding the special research, Slemon says in the interview:
We are trying to figure out what the right amount of it is. A part of the special research that we released has definitely overwhelmed some of our casual players a bit. In that we simply flooded them with research tasks.
Our intention is to make it so that the storylines are not just checklists. So you’re not just rushing through four or five of them at the same time and not even remembering which task belongs to which special research or why.
What does the statement mean? It sounds like Pokémon GO will conduct special research in the future where the tasks will actually fit the theme. And have more significance.
Perhaps there will be fewer individual tasks in the future, but a greater thematic relevance to the existing tasks. But that remains to be seen.
What do the players say about it? The interview is being actively discussed on Reddit.
A negative aspect of the previous special research is that for some tasks, players had to catch specific species that only appeared in the wild for a short time. User tehstone writes:
I think the big complaint was the requirement to catch or evolve species that are actually particularly rare, but only appeared more frequently at the time of the special research’s release. It definitely created a “hurry up or you’ll have problems” feeling.
As an example, Ditto is also mentioned on Reddit. It was easy to catch at the beginning of the special research when Niantic ensured more Ditto spawns. Who reached the research after the increased spawns probably had to search for Ditto for weeks or months.
