This is the Underground faction: These strange enemies are equipped with headlamps and usually hide in the underground areas of Washington D.C.
User Onsly_Br already introduced 3 enemy types of this faction on Reddit over a month ago. He allowed himself to be killed by them to get more detailed information on the enemies.
The unique aspect of this faction is that they fight without saying anything. This makes them feel particularly eerie.
The Known Enemy Types of the Underground Faction
Assault: They are armed with assault rifles and primarily fight from cover.
An in-game description translates to: “They mostly only come out at night…mostly. No, seriously, they mostly only come out at night. Hide your kidneys.”
Rusher: These enemies are equipped with knives dipped in poison. They appear like masked ninjas and use their blades as throwing knives and in close combat.
According to the description, these enemies lie in wait around corners to simply stab their unsuspecting victims.

Chainsaw Tank: This includes a heavily armored enemy type that attacks you with a giant chainsaw. They charge into battle and can take you out with a single hit. There is no description of this opponent in the game.
However, this enemy type does not exclusively belong to the Underground faction but can also be encountered among the Outcasts.
Thrower: This enemy throws grenades that spread toxic gas. They prefer to fight from cover. If you shoot at them while they are throwing a grenade, the grenade explodes and the enemy catches fire.
In addition to the Underground faction, there is another largely unknown group that hunts you in Washington D.C.
The Ambush Faction Lies in Wait with Bow and Arrow
This is the Ambush faction: As with the Underground faction, not much is known about this enemy. They lie in wait for you on the streets of D.C. and attack suddenly.
Some also call them the “LARP” faction because it looks like they come from a medieval role-playing game. Some suspect that the “Ambushers” appear in the Dark Zone. There are even videos circulating of an encounter (via YouTube).

What do the players say about it? Overall, many are taken with the factions. They are cool enemies and also seem mysterious. Others, like user AmateurProtagonist, criticize that the factions are not mentioned anywhere else.
This would break the immersion and leave a strange aftertaste in the context of the rest of the world.

How to become the Disruptor

Win 20 matches
Mark 40 invaders. You just need to shoot them while the Guardian Aura is active. It doesn’t matter whether you or your teammates finish them off
Defeat 200 blockers
Defeat 150 Taken
Earn 20 medals
The “Lock Smith” medals are a bit complicated. Actually, you should only need to eliminate the last three blockers before the Primeval in one round.
To make it work, according to player reports, you need to eliminate 5 blockers in one round – and this must be done before the Primeval is summoned. For all kills, you need to deliver the final blow, otherwise, they won’t count towards progress.

The eleventh chapter “Demise of the Faithful” brought a killer with fresh mechanics and a large portion of disgust factor to the asymmetrical survival game. After a pretty long play phase, I conclude: The religious killer “The Plague” does everything right.

The Plague does many things differently than previous killers in Dead by Daylight, and it starts with her backstory. Unlike all other killers, The Plague does not come from recent decades but has her origins several thousand years ago.
She was the high priestess of a temple. Her people struggled with a plague that ultimately claimed her as well.
Just before she died, she sent a last desperate prayer to her deity. However, someone else answered: The mysterious entity that made her a killer in his world.
The Plague was a heroic priestess – until she herself got infected.
These unique gameplay mechanics are used by The Plague
As a special ability, she can – and this is no joke – vomit. The green beam infects affected survivors as well as objects like generators, pallets, or totems.
When survivors come into contact with the green substance, they become infected and the incubation begins. During this time, the survivors cough but have no other restrictions. However, if survivors work (such as running or repairing), the incubation progresses until the survivor is fully affected by the plague. This has several effects:
The survivor is permanently “broken” – meaning injured and goes down with one hit. They cannot be healed by other survivors.
The survivor coughs and vomits at irregular intervals, which is quite audible, in addition to the constant blood loss.
When an infected survivor comes into contact with objects, these also become vectors of infection. They not only infect generators, windows, and pallets but also their teammates.

As simple as it may sound, handling the newest killer is not that easy. Because if you really want to be successful, you have to master the killer’s vomit attack. However, this is not a simple projectile but a comparatively slow beam with quickly flattening trajectory. Only those who skillfully aim over objects and “into the path” of the survivors will hit and can spread the plague or inflict direct damage.
Experienced killers can manage to bring a survivor directly from “healthy” to “infected” with just a single green spray, allowing only a quick melee attack to take the player down.
At the same time, skilled survivors can seek cover or prevent inexperienced killers from landing a hit with the plague by zig-zagging.
The balance is simply successful.

Legion’s gameplay is boring and not fun – neither for the killer nor for the survivors. His abilities and addons allow for a pretty specific playstyle (with very little variation).
The Plague is different. Essentially, you can aim for two different playstyles. Either focus on infecting opponents and maintaining many diseases or switch as quickly and frequently as possible to the ranged attack that inflicts damage. Different perks and addons allow further customization of the playstyle, even enabling stealth actions or setting traps in the form of infected objects.
In summary, “The Plague” has become a well-thought-out, challenging, and interesting killer that Dead by Daylight desperately needed.
I haven’t had this much fun vomiting on people since I got to play as a bloated Boomer in Left 4 Dead – and that’s quite a high standard.
